Everyday I honestly appreciate that they sorta changed up a bunch of characteristics in all of the ninja for the movie like. It just make sense...

Aside from it being a whole entire new universe, they literally go to highschool (which is never shown in the series) contributing to changing the ninja's personality a bit

The series and movieverse counterparts of each ninja grew up in an entirely different environment, so it does make sense for their character to be slightly different from eachother!!!

Take Lloyd as an example: he's much more socially awkward, shy and insecure compared to his series counterpart , one of the factors to this being the fact that he was basically teased and bullied his whole entire life while in the series while he (used) to be hated by basically everyone too, after knowing Lloyd was the destined green ninja the tables have turned. And series Lloyd was still pretty young too(am I making any sense help)

But yeah the same applies to the other ninjas,, since we haven't actually get to explore what they're whole background is like in the movie, it's safe to assume that their personal life does in fact make up the type of character they are

Andrew considers this promise, runs his tongue over his teeth before looking over at Neil again. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” Neil says, then he exhales. “Well, now that we’ve cleared up the second huge, ridiculous misunderstanding of the day, tell me about Halloween.”

“It’s a holiday where children dress up as—”

“I know that part, asshole. I’m not a total moron.”

“You just said we’re both idiots.” Andrew points out.

“We are. But I saw you go into a costume shop and come out with a little black and orange baggie. Which, presumably, had a costume inside. Are you having a team party or what?”

“Never in a million years,” Andrew answers, almost offended at the idea. “We’re going to go to Eden’s Halloween party. It’s tomorrow night.”

“But Halloween is Saturday.”

“Yes. But Eden’s Halloween party lasts all weekend. We generally go on Fridays so that’s how it works out.” Andrew explains.

As usual, Neil seems put off by the whole idea of clubbing. Andrew knows Neil isn’t fond of the noise. Or crowded places. Neither is Andrew really. But he is fond of liquor and guys in slutty outfits.

Speaking of that… Sexy Angel Neil floats back into Andrew’s mind, sliding over regular Neil like an overlay.

I don’t know who will do it but know that I’ve seen what the “forced proximity” scenario looks like, Steve and Eddie would start out hating each other’s guts then get stuck in between like two walls I don’t know and while they’re there for hours bickering one of them gets “excited” by the friction that the other one is causing.
