things that have helped me lose 4kg in 2 weeks<3
every day im seeing the scale drop slightly, and changes in my body by doing these things. im no good with discipline or motivation so i try to keep it simple!
no food until 1-3pm (depends on if im at work or not) i also dont eat past 10pm (usually earlier) so im fasting for 15-17+ hours a day, without even really thinking about it because i keep myself busy during the day
3L of water a day! can not stress this enough. the only other drinks im allowed are black americano or espresso, herbal tea, or diet coke as a treat a few times a week (it makes me bloated so i try to avoid)
eat sauerkraut every day, with my first meal. this can apply to any fermented dish, but sauerkraut is my favourite. it is full of probiotics that can help with digestion and is yummy for 15cals/100g
on work days i omad (300-400cals) and a small snack of whatever im craving if i am still hungry (100-200cals). when i am home i eat lunch and dinner, (200cals each) and a small snack of whatever i am craving (100-200cals). i do not count properly, i like to overestimate everything so even if i reach my limit of 800cals i am often closer to 600
i don't properly work out, but i do 25 squats whenever i go to the bathroom, 200 arm circles in the shower and 100 sit ups any time im alone. this is easy to stick to for me because im terrible with consistency
i try to walk a lot. i have terrible joints but i aim to go on a walk every day, normally between 8k-12k steps
stay out of the kitchen. when im not around food im not thinking about food.
steamed/boiled veg with every meal. i like my meals to be mostly warm, and low cal veg like bok choi, spinach, daikon radish etc. are my favs, also high in fibre makes it more filling
liquid fast 24hrs 1-3 days a week
don't over complicate your meals. i eat a variation of the same meal basically every day, giving yourself too many options can be overwhelming and lead to a binge. i will have an egg with sauerkraut and steamed veg for breakfast, and for dinner i have an egg or tofu, with some kind of steamed veg or salad, and 1/3 boiled sweet potato (if im really hungry) for dinner. this also saves me a lot of money as a little bonus.
i do the same with my snack options. i will have berries, with or without 0% fat greek yogurt. some kind of veg like bell pepper or cucumber, with cream cheese. a small portion of chocolate if i want something sweet. that's about it.
chew your food properly, and eat slowly. im talking 45-60mins to eat a single meal. helps with digestion
if you feel like giving up give yourself a number of days to stick to your plan, and maybe set a realistic goal within that time, such as losing 2-4kg in 15 days. tell yourself that after this time, you are free to give up and binge or whatever, but you must stick to the plan 100%. by the time it is over, you will be satisfied with the results and want to continue.
most importantly, just dont give up. you will have good days and bad days but overall if you continue you will make progress. i have slipped up and binged 1500~ calories twice, and am still seeing progress. the bad days do not define your journey and you will reach your goals if you do your best

Hi! I need to lose 30lbs in 29 days, is it possible? How would I do it? 😭🙏
Thank you for the ask! It's definitely possible! Here's my guide for you!
First thing's first, your daily caloric intake now has to be 300 or below. Try to keep it around 200 daily, and less if possible.
Next thing is about fasting. You're not allowed breakfast (only water!) until after 7am. Then you are not allowed to eat from 10am to 7pm. At 7pm you are permitted to eat until 8pm, and then after that, you are done eating for the day!
Here's my meal plan for you!
Breakfast- Here are some really great things to have for breakfast.
Zero calorie soda
Zero calorie monster energy
Black coffee (or coffee with unsweetened almond milk and sugar free sweeteners if you have to!)
A piece or two of turkey lunchmeat (fairly low cal and really good! Add mustard if it's still not enough. Mustard has 0 calories in small amounts!)
Half a piece of toast (low cal bread only!)
Dinner- Here's some great options for dinner.
Celery! It has basically no calories so you can eat a ton!
A stick of string cheese
Another zero cal soda/monster
More important things!:
Water! Drink it as often as you can and as much as you can! Track how much water you drink! Always have a bottle of water with you if possible.
Keep yourself distracted too! Make yourself as busy as you can be. Can't eat if you don't have time to!
Fast for a full day once a week! Only liquids (zero cal) are allowed on those days!
Try to eat as little in one day as you possibly can! I lost 30 pounds in that amount of time by doing this, and it really really worked! If you really care about losing the weight, you won't lose to temptation. Stay strong, I believe in you!
If you ever need any more advice or have more questions, please, feel free to ask! Good luck on losing the weight!

tips on How i lost 25kg in 5 months
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hello darling !🦢🌷
here’s are some tips and habits that helped me lose lots of weights in 4 months and maintained it.
1. don’t go for a restrictive diet prefer a balanced one, restricting will only make you gain all the weight back and create a yo-yo circle.
2. drink 2L of water, it help a lot with weight loss and reduce appetite. I personally always drink a glass or two of water before any meals to prevent overeating.
3. log all my meals, it help me with calories déficit but also taking care of what i eat.
4. instead of eating a big snack with a lot of fat I tend to eat fruit, or 0% sugar yogurt with strawberries it will make you complete very fast.
5. when it comes to working out it is essential to have fun, seeing workout out as a punishment or a way to only be like those girls in magazines will make you hate it rather than love it. From my experience in the past, I hated working out because of my point of view and gaining all the weight back.
So it is very important to enjoy moving your body :)
6. eat lots of protein, protein help to reduce your appetite which leads to losing weight.
7. allow yourself to not eat 100% healthily all the time, you have the right to eat an ice cream or a burger as long as you keep eating healthy 90% of the time.
8. don't check your weight every day, it creates such a bad relationship with weight loss, etc, every time you'll see you didn't lose anything or even gain you be totally sad about it and it might even lead to stopping your all journey.
Also, it's okay to gain a bit of weight, don't be sad it takes time and consistency.
9. Fasting, a reminder that fasting might not be for everyone but personally it helps me to avoid eating lots of snacks very late at night, I recommence the app Simple, they have lots of choices to adapt to your own lifestyle

I truly do not understand how my parents expect me to just. Be totally chill and normal and have no rules or issues with food completely out of the blue, as if they didn't spend literally my entire childhood from ages 0 to 19 like. Fully banning 90% of "junk" food, not allowing anything other than water or juice more than once a month on special occasions, only letting us have fast food more than once a year (if we were lucky) when it was literally medically prescribed to me bcuz I was so underweight and deficient in shit I needed a neurologist to tell me if I didn't eat Pringles every day I would probably die, literally saying to my face that the blood sugar gummies I ate bcuz I was too sick to keep anything else down were "too high calorie", saying that even iceberg lettuce is unhealthy, and so much more. Like. You guys. Why are surprised that I'm not comfortable having two cups of iced tea in a single day. I unironically feel like I should be taken out back and shot for doing this. And that IS your fault. You cannot act surprised that I'm like this when you are the ones who raised me to be this way.

Food Log 11/11/23
Ugh, I feel so embarrassed for eating this much today. I didn’t go past my BMR calorie limit but I still feel super bad about eating this much and need to get back on track. I’ll be back home tomorrow, so back to restricting and burning every calorie I consume. Life at home is extremely stressful that it just makes so much easier to restrict plus I’m alone all the time so I can just nap the hunger away.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also I never add my drinks because I only drink 0 calorie drinks.
Coffee with Splenda, Sprite Zero Sugar, Coke Zero Sugar, Lemonade Zero Sugar, and of course water are my best friends. These are the only drinks I will allow myself to have.
I can’t even do the crystal light flavor packets because they have 5-10 calories per packet and I just can’t get myself to drink it. Having drinks with calories is seriously my biggest fear.

What is Sole Water & Does it Have Benefits?
Tumblr media
We know water is essential for many bodily functions including temperature regulation, lubrication of joints, digestive function and more. Since water is essential, many people try to find ways to make water that is "superior" to plain drinking water. An example of this is "sole water" - water that contains pink Himalayan salt. Similar to most fads, supporters claim sole water is the magic bullet. Supporters of sole water claim it helps people lose weight, reduce muscle cramps, enhance sleep, and more. But, like most fads it's too good to be true. This is because there is no research to support these claims. In this article, we will discuss sole water, its nutrition composition, and explore the various health claims so you can decide for yourself! 📌 Key Takeaways - Sole water is water saturated with pink Himalayan salt, resulting in high sodium content. - There is no research to support additional health benefits from consuming sole water. - Most people consume excess sodium in their diets which can contribute to various chronic diseases. - Since sole water is high in sodium, it's best to avoid this fad. 🔎 Understanding Sole Water Sole water, which is pronounced "SO-LAY" water, is water that is saturated with pink Himalayan salt. Essentially, sole water is made by mixing pink Himalayan salt with water. Start with adding enough salt to fill a quarter of your glass jar, after that, fill the jar all the way up with water and allow it to soak for 12-24 hours. When all the salt dissolves, add more salt until it no longer dissolves - this is what they mean by "saturating" the water with salt. Those who drink sole water suggest adding 1 teaspoon of this mixture to 8 ounce glass or water daily. ✨ Nutritional Composition of Sole Water As mentioned above, sole water is a combination of water and pink Himalayan salt. This combination creates a pink tinged water. Since the amount of salt is not properly measured, the sodium concentration may vary. However, we do know the nutritional composition of pink Himalayan salt is the following: Per Serving (1/4 teaspoon): - Calories: 0 - Protein: 0 g - Fat: 0 g - Carbohydrates: 0 g - Sodium: 420 mg In addition, pink Himalayan salt contains higher concentrations of minerals such as potassium, magnesium and calcium. However, the amount of these minerals is minimal when compared to the recommended daily consumption. 🤔 Are There Health Benefits of Sole Water? Himalayan salt is a type of unrefined salt that is readily available in most grocery stores. Table salt has been bleached and stripped of most minerals, with iodine added back to prevent iodine deficiencies. On the other hand, Himalayan salt is considered to be an unrefined or "natural" salt. This is because it is not stripped of other minerals like magnesium, potassium and calcium. As mentioned earlier some of the more popular claims express that sole water helps with weight loss, enhanced sleep, reduce muscle cramps and more. However, more research is necessary to substantiate these potential health benefits. High Mineral Content Compared to Table Salt Drinking Himalayan salt water supposedly is beneficial due to its elevated mineral content compared to regular table salt. Himalayan salt is mostly made of sodium chloride which helps to maintain fluid balance. While Himalayan salt may contain higher concentrations of minerals than regular table salt, the amount of calcium, magnesium and potassium is negligible compared to foods in our diet like fruits and vegetables. Not only that, but, even though sodium is essential for fluid balance and other bodily functions, most people do not have difficulty getting enough sodium in their diets. In fact, the real trouble is that most people consume too much salt. So, the idea that sole water provides an additional benefit because of its higher mineral content is unsubstantiated. Sodium and Sleep We know that sodium plays a role in proper sleep and hydration status. One study suggested a diet consisting of less than 500mg of sodium leads to sleep disturbances, so individuals that support sole water believe that the sodium present in the water leads to improved sleep. However, as mentioned earlier, most people consume sodium in excess and it is unlikely that additional sodium from sole water would enhance sleep. In fact, there is no research to back up these claims. Sodium and Hydration Sodium is known to play a key role in fluid balance, so inadequate sodium intake can lead to dehydration. Since sodium is important for adequate hydration, sole water supporters claim that sole water can help enhance hydration. But, there are other ways to make sure that you get the adequate amount of sodium in your diet to maintain proper hydration. As mentioned earlier, it's relatively easy to meet daily sodium recommendations. 📝 Things to Consider As you can imagine, if sole water is saturated in pink Himalayan salt this will have fairly high sodium concentrations. While sodium is a necessary nutrient, most people across the world consume sodium in excess and do not require additional sodium in their diets. In fact, according to the World Health Organization most adults consume 4310 mg sodium daily, when it is recommended to limit sodium intake to 2000 mg daily. This is detrimental because consuming excess sodium can contribute to the development of high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease and other debilitating chronic diseases. 📑 Conclusion In conclusion, sole water is basically water, mixed with pink Himalayan salt. Individuals often claim that it may have added health benefits including enhanced sleep and hydration. But, in reality it's high in sodium and relatively low in other minerals compared to foods like fruits and vegetables. Since most people consume more than enough sodium in their diets, additional sodium from sole water is unlikely to reap any additional benefits. In fact, it's more likely to do harm than good - so better to avoid this trendy fad. Continue reading: - Exploring Oxygen Water: Benefits, Uses, and What You Need to Know - Understanding Structured Water: Guidance from a Registered Dietician - The Truth About Detox Water, Debunking Common Myths ❔ Frequently Asked Questions How Do You Make Sole Water at Home? To make sole water at home, all you need is a glass jar and pink Himalayan salt. To start, fill a quarter of your glass jar with Himalayan salt and then fill the rest of the jar with water. Let it soak for 12-24 hours. Once the salt is dissolved, add more salt until it is no longer dissolved. Then, once it is ready add 1 teaspoon of this mixture to 8 ounces of water and enjoy! Is it OK to drink Sole Water Everyday? For a normal healthy person, consuming sole water every day should not cause any ill health effects. However, because sole water has high sodium content it would be beneficial to monitor your sodium content. Additionally, individuals who have hypertension, chronic kidney disease or cardiovascular disease should not consume sole water since this could contribute to excess sodium intake. Is it Good to Put Himalayan Salt in Your Water? Himalayan salt will add sodium and trace amounts of other minerals such as potassium, magnesium and calcium to your water. While it will not cause any harm, it will also not provide any additional benefit. This is because we typically get plenty of sodium through our diets. Additionally, the amount of potassium, magnesium and calcium present in Himalayan salt is so minimal it is unlikely to provide any additional benefit. Read the full article

Keto Chicken and Dumplings
New Post has been published on https://eazywellness.net/keto-chicken-and-dumplings/
Keto Chicken and Dumplings
This old-fashioned keto chicken and dumplings dish is creamy, rich, and moreish, yet completely guilt-free. Perfectly seasoned soup is accompanied by dumplings that have just the right amount of chew and bite to satisfy your taste buds and your cravings.
Sometimes you need food that fills up your stomach, and other times you crave food that fills up your soul. If you’re in need of an ultra-comforting, rich, and hearty dish that will warm up even the coldest winter evenings, look no further than our keto chicken and dumplings that have just the right amount of chew and bite, while only containing nutritious and keto-friendly ingredients.
Both the chicken soup and the dumplings have an equal part to play in making this dish so satisfying. Just like regular chicken soup, you’ll get the smooth and savory flavor of chicken essence, garlic, and added herbs, but unlike regular chicken soup, the addition of canned coconut milk will make it that much more decadent. Creating the dough is as simple as combining all the ingredients together and forming them into dumplings with the exact size and shape you want. The mix of almond and coconut flour is a healthier alternative to regular flour, and the addition of egg and baking powder provides that fluffy texture that you know and love. Then, simply plop them into the soup, wait until they’re cooked through, and serve up a steaming bowl for you and your loved ones.
Yields 4 servings of Keto Chicken and Dumplings
The Preparation
Chicken Soup Base:
24 ounce boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/2 medium onion, chopped
4 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon butter
3 teaspoon garlic, minced
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup canned coconut milk
1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum
Keto Dumplings:
3/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum*
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup canned coconut milk
1 large egg
The Execution
1. Gather and prep all ingredients.
2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then place in a pot and cover with water. Cover with a lid and bring the pot to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and allow the chicken to cook through, about 15 minutes. Once done, transfer the chicken to a bowl and shred it with a fork.
3. Using the same pot, add butter over medium heat. Once melted and bubbling, add the garlic and onion. Cook until onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Once the onions are cooked, add in the shredded chicken, chicken broth, coconut milk, and then season with salt and pepper to taste. Whisk in the xanthan gum very well, then cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
5. While the soup is simmering, start on the dumplings. Combine the almond flour, coconut flour, parsley, baking powder, xanthan gum, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix together and try to remove any lumps.
6. Add in the wet ingredients by cracking the egg and pouring in the butter and coconut milk. Mix together until it becomes a dough-like texture.
7. Roll out the dumplings using your hand and form them into balls. You want each ball to be around 3/4″ thick.
8. Reduce the soup’s heat to low and remove the cover. Drop the dumplings into the soup and let cook for 3-5 minutes, allowing them to heat through. Make sure not to overcook the dumplings as they will start to break apart if cooked too long.
9. Optionally garnish with fresh thyme and enjoy!
This makes a total of 4 servings of Keto Chicken and Dumplings. Each serving comes out to be 594 calories, 46.5g fats, 7.6g net carbs, and 39.1g protein.

Note:
I'm sure we made a bad 1st impression on the new guy Mitch. He had some former experience in the pampered coaching care of "IRON TRIBE". And then his buddy Rodney drops him down in the chaos of a LHCF Overhead Barbell Evening with nearly 25 mostly ignorant athletes being overseen by one nearly octogenarian nearly alcoholic nearly brain-dead CrossFit Coach by paper certification only. The Old Coach anticipated the need for 2 heats (due to 13 ERGs and twice that many athletes) but disorganization resulted in 4 chaotic heats. Poor Mitch was blitzed by the disorganization and attributed this to his newness, and so left here thinking what a cool place we have here and can't wait to return. I gave him a pink LHCF T-shirt because it seemed that his manliness could handle it.
Alicia commented on the sparsity of snacks at the after-party, but I blamed that on the absence of Miss Linda who is usually a major contributor. Even tho' Robert didn't bring any food, he did give his best Matthew Chapter 14 Loaves and Fishes blessing which allowed everyone to be over-fed. And then he turned the water into good wine as at the wedding in Cana (John 2) and everyone got smashed. Some of our Old Testament scholars may not appreciate these miracles thinking they never even happened.
The wine and scanty snack party suddenly ended when the rumbling thunder which we had been ignoring erupted into a downpour that sounded like hail pounding on the Barn's tin roof. We all quickly cleaned up the party mess and headed for the cars. Someone assigned Miss Ruth Anne the duty of chaperoning me to the back door, and just as I thought she was going to lip-smack me goodbye, she turned her cheek and gave me a Sister-in-Christ cheek-smooch. YUK.
Did anyone besides Me and Bernard witness the Bear Hug contest between Alicia and Old Tom ? It was an extremely curious event, being face-to-face with a lot of heavy breathing and shaking and Old Tom's shorts riding up as Miss Alicia squeezed him off the ground. Bernard was totally tolerant, looking ecclesiastical in his Deans' white silk shirt and tailored trousers. The contest abruptly ended when a couple of Old Tom's stainless steel sternal wires broke.
I can visualize the Bear Hug becoming a standard and traditional contest between consenting adults of opposite genders (sic). The LHCF Barn may become world famous for this event with challengers coming from far and near. For the next few months I anticipate we will hold these contests only during the last 1/2 hour of the Thursday evening Gala. Perhaps Robert can have BSN donate "I Did The Bear Hug Games At Buck's Barn" T-shirts to participants, and Instagram Kayla will make us all famous influencers.
What happens around the Barn picnic table stays there. Mostly.
Saturday at 0730 and 0930. Mitch declared he will be there. I hope Clare makes it for number #3.

There seems to be a lot of debate on packaging and how accurate these labels are, and it had to take departments from the government to revise these rules just so that we can get it properly.

Coca-Cola is one of the more well-known brands in the country and all over the world. With its signature font for their coca-cola and with the alternative name present within the packaging of the bottle and even to the recognizable red anyone could identify. That said the company follows the first 2 requirements for the Revised labeling and pre-packaging rules. For the ingredients list, Coke does show the ingredients on the back, all of the components even the safe to consume compounds, however, added water or such is not included in the list, it is to be noted that Coke does say that the drink has natural flavoring which follows the rules.
The bottle includes all of the measurements on how much (in volume) does the bottle contain. There is also the presence of the specific address of the manufacturer and because soda is not really sensitive to temperature unless the person drinking is sensitive. For this soda, I am not certain as to where the expiry date or best before date is found, but there is a date tagged in the bottle that indicates a date which I assumed is the best before. However, it should be printed on the label itself and not near the bottleneck that is not clearly seen or a place people would look.
Despite sodas being tagged as junk food, they still do have nutritional facts and Coke does have one in its packaging. The nutritional facts if I am honest do look similar to the ones from the guide of the Revised labeling and pre-packaging rules. Coke zero to be specific does show in their labeling the zero sugar, no calories claim. If there is a possibility that it is true there is no indication of substitutes or any other compound that allows for similar taste to the soda without all the added sugar and calories. That said, you can only fit so much in a soda bottle but information such as reminding people that the bottle should be recycled which responds to their service component for the environment is an added touch that reminds people of what type of trash and packaging it is after use. It is also indicated in the  bottle that there are 0 calories in every 240ml class which according to them is the recommended serving size.
The soda in itself is delicious, it’s a great way to quench a sweet tooth craving without having the sugar and it’s easily accessible to everyone despite the price increase due to the tariff, there is still a large following for the brand and this is where you can see that despite there being flaws to the packaging the image and reputation that the brand has overcomes all things.

Food you can binge on without gaining weight
There are times even in the life of a person maintain a healthy lifestyle when one tends to binge eat. Even if you are conscious about maintaining your figure, there are some foods you can eat without keeping an eye on quantity, when stressed, having a movie night, or in the holiday season. Binging on food once in a while will not result in weight gain. But the holiday season is full of gorging around then you have to beware of what you eat.
Protein, fiber, and water are the saviors
If you are bored at the idea of tracking what you consume during a feast, an alternative way to reduce fat gain is to focus on foods with abundant protein, fiber, and water.
Out of carbohydrates, fats and protein, protein needs the highest amount of energy to get absorbed by the body compared to the energy it provides. The calories we consumed, are used by our body to break down food, digest it, absorb it into the system, and some of the calories burn as heat. Specific dynamic action (SDA), also known as thermic effect of food (TEF) or dietary induced thermogenesis (DIT), is the amount of energy expenditure above the basal metabolic rate due to the cost of processing food for use and storage.
Calories provided by fats are 9 calories per gram and SDA is 0 to 3 %.
Calories provided by carbohydrates are 4 calories per gram and SDA is 5 to 10 %.
Calories provided by protein are 4 calories per gram and SDA is 20 to 30 %.
Shifting your focus from fats and carbs to protein will save you from the guilt of overeating.
Foods with a lot of fiber and water content have lower calorie density and regulate appetite.
Limit Fat
Dietary fat is the macronutrient that can increase your body fat easily: these two forms of fat are basically the same, so making one from another is an easy task for your body.
When you consume carbohydrates, your body burns them as energy, stores them as glycogen (stored glucose), burns them as heat, in that order, and then the last option to store them as body fat. So overeating on carb-rich food may not result in fat gain.
When you consume protein, your body uses it for protein synthesis or for digestion purposes, then for energy and rarely does store it as body fat. So overeating protein is the safest option.
When you consume fats, the body has two choices to burn them off as energy but that is only possible if energy from carbs and protein is used up or store as body fat which is more likely. Overeating fats means directly adding them to body fat.
So getting to the point, what are the foods which pass all these criteria and can allow you to enjoy food without guilt. Below are some delicious options to binge on without worrying about your weight:
Popcorn
Popcorns are whole grain which is fiber-rich, low fat, and gluten-free. One cup of popcorn contains only 31 calories. Add some salt and chat masala to spice things up and you gorge on it as much as you want.
Chickpeas
Roast chickpeas with some drips of olive oil, salt, and chat masala or cumin powder or black pepper. This crunchy treat is high in protein and is gluten-free.
Moong Dal
Moong dal is full of protein, folic acid and is good for digestion. It is good for pregnancy cravings, as this lentil protects the baby’s brain from any defects. It has insoluble fiber which eases digestion and vitamin A and K to prevent hair fall. You can have sprouted moong chat or combine it with rice to make a delightful meal.
Cucumber
Cucumbers are 96 percent water so they are hydrating, help in weight loss, and prevent inflammation. The fibers keep you full and help in better digestion. Cucumber salad or cucumber soup are the best ways to have it.
Steel-cut oats
This is a fiber-rich superfood. It has fiber made of beta-glucan which is known to reduce cholesterol and control fluctuating blood sugar. Without a doubt, it is good for digestion also. It can be consumed in many delicious ways. You can soak it in low-fat milk overnight and add some honey and dry fruits in the morning for breakfast. You can add some cumin seeds, chili, and salt to make delicious upma.
Buttermilk
Buttermilk is a natural probiotic food option. It strengthens and energizing. It keeps the stomach full and is also a source of whey protein. A pinch of cumin powder and salt in a glass of buttermilk and you are good to go.
Amaranth/Rajgira flour
Amaranth is a great source of protein and calcium. It is good for the heart and helps in keeping a check on cholesterol. Good for metabolism hence helps in weight loss.
Amaranth flour can be consumed as pancakes or hot and spicy upma.
Hummus
To prepare hummus you just need to:
1. Soak chickpeas overnight. 2. Boiled them until perfectly cooked. 3. Grind the cooked chickpeas with some garlic. 4. Squeeze half a lemon and add a spoon of olive oil.
Hummus can be used as a spread for crackers or as dip for veggies. It has the goodness of chickpeas like high protein and gluten-free.
Coconut water
This superfluid is good to maintain the electrolyte balance of our body. It keeps the body hydrated, prevents infection, and is good for gut health. Adding chia seeds to a glass of coconut water is a fulfilling and refreshing treat.
Fruits
Not all fruits though. Eating a lot of fruits may result in a sugar spike in your body. But fruits like oranges, tangerines are exceptions they are rich in vitamin C and fibers. They are good for skin, hair, and digestion. Other exceptions are muskmelon and watermelon. These fruits are mostly water with just 65 to 70 calories per slice. They keep you hydrated and full.
GRD Superior Protein Powder and Biscuits

Period is over!
I forgot my water bottle at home this morning 🤦‍♀️ Plastic bottles just aren’t the same.
This evening I’ll be building my son’s bunk bed. Hopefully that’ll burn some cals.
I was up wayyy too late last night making felt eyes for my stuffies. I’m so tired today.
I think I want to but my hair… right now it’s down past the middle of my back. I know I’ll regret it though. Hmm. Might lose a few ounces though… and it’ll look better/healthier obviously.
I really think I need to start exercising so I won’t have sooo much loose skin. I know I’ll have a bit, but maybe I can make it a little less? And I’d love to get my arm muscles back.. I’m thinking about a dance workout to start with? I have a few from my beachbody obsession days.. I’m actually thinking about signing up for that again tbh. Just for the workouts and shake if I’m being honest. Of course I’d stick to my current diet of “as little as possible” 🤷‍♀️ It would be sooo easy to get sucked back into that agin though. And it’s expensive. Buttt if I’m not spending that $ on food maybe I can make it work… hmm.
((POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING POST AHEAD))
I’ve been thinking a lot about how the “Ana trend” has changed so much since 2004-2009 until now. Yes, AFTER I became anorexic I found the world of Ana on Xanga a lifetime ago it feels like 😅. We never had any of that high restriction, metab days, or any of that. It was straight less than 1000cal/day, exercise off every single cal down to net 0 or in the negatives. If you had more than 1000 you were just “dieting”, not an eating disorder status800-900 was high restriction and only allowed if you were in sports or something. 300-400 was status quo.
I know how bad that is and everything and I do NOT encourage it!! It severely messed up our short term memories and even though I recovered for 10ish years, my short term memory never came back like it should be. I’m glad it’s not the norm anymore so people aren’t hurting themselves as badly. I just think it’s strange how things change like this.
We were some very fucked mentally ill teenagers in the mid 2000s…
The hold those tabloids, VS models, MK, Nicole Richie, diet culture had on us… damn.
I just can’t bring myself to change my thinking about this 🤷‍♀️
My brain says “oh, you want to up your calorie limit… I knew you just wanted to diet and don’t ReAlLy have an ED. Your pain and reasons aren’t as strong as they should be. Poor little emo kid just wants to be trendy and lose weight.” UGH.
My logic knows that’s stupid, but brain beats logic unfortunately.
Anyway, enough rambling from me!
I hope you enjoy your day ✨

21-day fast: day one
first day. pretty fucking tough. both cravings and hunger were insane and i was constantly thinking about food. overall an 8 on the difficulty scale (with 0 meaning complete and utter disinterest in food and 10 meaning i cannot bear another moment without eating)
- had two large cups of broth because i wouldn't have made it through the day without, and an artificially sweetened drink at the gym. about 50 calories in total (that's mostly the broth, though).
- worked out for an hour because i know i won't be doing any exercise the next couple of days, judging by my last fasting experience
- i meant to do a clean, water and electrolytes only fast, but getting through the first week at all is the priority so if i must, i will allow small amounts of broth, unsweetened tea or lemon water for the first seven days
