Wind paused at the opening of the cave. He didn't mean to, but his feet weren't listening to him.

The cave was dark, and cold, and so, so small. It was so different from the open ocean. Wind longed to feel the warm sea breeze in his hair, but all he felt was the cold and the damp.

Sky bumped Wind's shoulder with his elbow. Wind flinched slightly, then quickly pulled himself together. He glanced up at Sky then back at the cave.

"Are you claustrophobic?" Sky asked softly enough that no one else would hear.

"I'm not scared," Wind said.

"I am," Sky said.

Wind looked up at Sky again. Sky did look a little pale, Wind realized.

"You are?" Wind asked. Sky nodded, one hand tugging on the corner of his sailcloth.

"I don't like enclosed spaces, much. Skyloft is really open," Sky said.

Wind frowned and looked back at the cave. Sky was one of the bravest people Wind knew. If he could admit he was scared, maybe Wind could too.

"I guess I'm a little scared," Wind said. Sky held out his hand and Wind grasped it tightly in his own.

"Come on," Sky said, a small smile growing on his face. "We can go together."
