Although it's been about 8 years since my attempt, 8 years that I decided to stay, I still have no life plan. 3 years ago I sort of started living again. I went back to university, I made friends, I went to therapy, I came out to a lot of people, i worked on my relationship with God, i started doing something, working towards something.

Now I feel lost again..

I mean I wasn't feeling amazing, I was going to therapy twice a week... but I had I guess hope..

That what I am feeling.. fuck..

I'm feeling hopeless...

I don't feel like I'll ever be happy, I'll be in a relationship, I'll never be able to come out, I'll never be able to just enjoy life, I'll never be able to just be me, I'll never get to experience romance, I'll never be able to experience someone wanting me, I'll never be able to just be.

And I thought ibwas ok with that.. but I guess not... recently it's becoming more clear that I won't be able to get away from that.. not without hurting my family.. and I can't do that.. its the whole reason I stayed... if I hurt them anyways ehat was the fucking point?

So it's hard to not bury myself in a pile of fanfic, not to completely fixate of on a dumb fictional couple to forget how hopeless I feel.. even though I still feel it.. constantly and idk what to do... there is nothing I can do to change the situation..

No amount of putting myself out there is going to make me actually try for a relationship bc I don't think I'll follow though.. bc I'll hurt my family if I do... I've seen it with all my siblings... there's no amout of self acceptance to make me come out.. my mom cried bc I said I wanted to look for a suit for men bc I couldn't find a suit for my brothers wedding. She didn't mind me wearing a suit but she cried when I said I was going to look at the men's suits...

I cant move out bc we can't pay for our apartment without my income.

My parents can't move back home since my dad was just diagnosed with cancer (it's the first time I acknowledge or say it)

Someone has to take care of them and that is the reason I stayed to not be a burden and help.

So yeah

Your husband has been having a severe case of the baby fever for a long time now. It started when he saw you taking care of your baby sister. The sight of you carrying the baby in your arms while you make her laugh made him desire to have one with you.

He's been planting small hints and clues that he is very much interested in having children with you. But you were still oblivious no matter how many hints he dropped. So he decided to take matters in his own hands.

“Um? Darling, we don't have a baby.” You say as you look over the things that you and your husband had bought during your shopping spree.

Your husband smiles mischievously. “But aren't they adorable?” He holds up a onesie for a baby for your inspection. Sure, it did look cute, but it was useless if you two did not have a baby to use it for.

He smirks as he puts down the baby clothes and walks to your side, leaning to kiss your cheek. “Not yet, we don't.” He purrs in your ear, his hot breath causes you to shudder involuntarily.

Your cheeks grow flush at the implication he is giving through his suggestive words. “What?” You decide it's best to play innocent first because you really didn't want to embarrass yourself if it was not what you think.

He chuckles as he tucks a loose strand of hair into the back of your ear. “You know what I mean, my love.” He gives you a dazzling smile. “I want to make one. Right now.” He pauses. “That is if you don't mind?” He asks softly, waiting for your response.

He seemed so desperate for it that you found it adorable. You nod in agreement. “Okay.” You respond softly, giving him your consent to continue as he pleases.

He did not waste anymore time as he immediately shoves you to the couch, his impatience showing evident in his quick movements. You yelp as you are immediately pinned down, his hand pinning both of yours above your head while his free hand starts dealing with his belt.

“Darling—” You gasp only for him to interrupt. “Hush.” He whispers, silencing you by pressing a lingering kiss on your soft lips as he finally managed to get the belt off. “Be quiet and let me take care of you.”

the dynamic of demigods thinking which other demigod is the most powerful is always amusing to me because. like, we know the big 3 kids are all the most powerful. That's just a fact of their universe. And then we know nearly every character views Percy as the strongest demigod, and most people are very rightfully intimidated by him.

and you look at the powers of the Big 3 kids and there's Percy, but then you realize Nico is just kind of objectively more powerful than him but simply chooses to hang out in Percy's shadow like he's Percy's scary dog privileges. Like, the two of them are pretty equally capable of causing multiple different apocalypses. Nico just also has like four different instakill powers and it's not like he doesn't use them. He very much uses them! Not infrequently, even! And they don't seem to take a significant amount of energy from him! And other demigods are pretty intimidated by both of them! But Nico makes a conscious point to keep his cards close to his chest and not let on exactly how dangerous and scary he can be if he wants to. People are already scared enough of him without knowing anything about him and he doesn't like that. Percy doesn't think about that nearly as much, and so usually just goes in guns blazing and that's part of why he's considered a wildcard. And then Nico himself puts Percy on a pedestal, so those who do know more about Nico's abilities then presume Nico knows something they don't about Percy that implies Percy is even stronger than him.

And even on a meta level Nico's narrative role requires him to be functionally more powerful than Percy, because he very often serves the purpose of getting Percy out of situations he can't handle on his own. That's just part of his function as a character! But also narratively he can't overshadow Percy so he just takes a backseat of his own accord and that's very amusing to me.

he wasn't like this over text, right? you wouldn't have been even in the building if he was like this. you squint at him. in another version of yourself, you'd be running. you'd just get up and go. that's what happens on the internet - people get annoyed, and they just leave. you are locked in place, almost frozen. you need to go to the bathroom and text someone to call you so you have an excuse, like it's rude to just-leave. like he already kind of owns you. rudeness implies a power paradigm, though. see, even your social anxiety allows the patriarchy to get to you.

you take a sip of the new glass of wine. maybe this will be a funny story. maybe you can write about it on your blog. maybe you can meet ariana grande and ask her if she just maybe needs to take some time to sit and think about her happiness and how she measures her own success.

is this settling down? is this all that's left in your dating pool? just accepting that someone will eventually love you, and you have to stop being picky about who "makes" you a wife?

Something about older Jason looking at the child version of himself, the innocent victim, and feeling the need to defend and avenge him the way no one else will. They'll call him reckless and try to pin the blame for his death on some unique failure of his personality, the problem isn't Robin the problem is he was just a bad fit for Robin! And then older Jason coming back to life and spits on their twisted grief. Fuck you, that innocent child deserved more. You took his memory and ruined it to make yourselves feel better. If no one will give him justice then Jason will take it himself no matter who he has to kill to get there. It's the only way he can move forward.

Something about older Cass looking at this child version of herself, this innocent who has no idea what she was doing when she was tricked into killing, and finding her irredeemable. She will forgive everyone for everything if they need a second chance but she cannot forgive that innocent child. She spends ten years wanting that child to die for their sin, a standard she holds no one else to. And in the end she does have to die. She can never forgive that child until the price has been paid and the guilty, tormented, suicidal mess of a girl is dead and never coming back. Only then can Cass live on. Only then can she smile without feeling the weight of her kill on her back. If no one will give that child the justice they deserve then she will have to do it herself. It's the only way she can move forward.

As someone who turns 30 this month one of the many things I like about Baldur's Gate 3 is that it normalizes finding love later in life.

Everyone around seems to get married and starts families, but it's okay. Gale has gray strands in his hair and is single after an intense relationship. Halsin is middle aged even in elf terms and has had myriads of lovers but no-one to settle down with. Astarion did not have the freedom to find himself and therefore love for almost all his life. Minthara has been too devoted to her job/cult for 200 years. Karlach and Shadowheart are at least in their late twenties.

It's fine if it hasn't happened yet. The right person just has not been tadpoled by now.
