Second: my problem with Leoichi is kinda separated of the SRUC. There's people who really likes it and okay, their right and their taste, but then... the part of TMNT fandom who doesn't neither the comics or the show (and doesn't want to know) just take a character that exists for over 40 years and other completely different and mix their personalities as an oc JUST for the shipp

I dare to say Leosagi/Katanashipping became more popular with 2003 TMNT (I'm not sure, but considering that at that time neither 87' nor the comics had developed their friendship, it makes more sense for me, also IDW and 12' are not as popular too) and so the ROTTMNT fandom (and I'll say this fandom is specific cause' we're not the first to complain the tags, besides I can count on my finger the times I saw Yuichi being shipped with any other than Leon) looked at 03' and said "ugh, look how weird is their age gap, i'm gonna make then better!" and it pisses me off

When I had just watch 12' and started in the franchise, I saw Yuichi everywhere with Leon and thought "Wow, this rise character must really be popular, can't wait for when he appears" imagine my surprise finding SRUC

For a last example of how they disrespect Miyamoto and Yuichi, I remember these two ROTTMNT fics: one where Miyamoto was a teenager fighting in Battle Nexus and GENNOSUKE WAS THE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIM BECAUSE HE'S A MENACE AND GEN IS THE RESPONSIBLE ONE; the other where Yuichi was a super serious and edgy samurai and JEI, FUCKING JEI, WAS A VASSAL TO LORD HIKIJI

i'm absolutely weak for liu qingge returning fans in fics and eventually there being a part where shen qingqiu is given a fan that isn't his but not saying anything because he doesn't want to "embarrass liu-shidi", especially if the author doesn't elaborate so we never know if liu qingge is giving shen qingqiu gifts or if he accidentally stole someone else's fan out of habit.

Logan's not a hugger, but he is with Wade.

It doesn't matter how early in the morning it is when Wade returns from a job, he drags himself out of bed and meets Wade at the door, pulls him close. Logan doesn't care if his pajamas get covered in blood and dirt, doesn't care if Wade smells like shit.

No--he buries his face in Wade's neck and wraps his arms around Wade's waist so tight it cracks a ribs once in a while.

Logan hugs Wade from behind every morning while he makes coffee, kisses Wade's neck, whispers a soft good morning in his ear.

He allows Wade to pull him close in bed, stumbles his way into Wade's lap while watching a movie, sleepily shoves himself into open arms when Wade asks for a snuggle before bed.

Wade doesn't understand it, because Logan doesn't like to be touched by anyone else, save for maybe Laura. He doesn't greet Wade's friends with a friendly embrace, doesn't like to sit too close to people he doesn't know well, always plastering himself to the perimeter of the room.
