re. people fanoning Izzy as Super Working Class I think they’re often making a (patronising, inaccurate) generalisation about (English) Northern accents. That’s never been a one-to-one mapping for class and income and is DOUBLY misrepresentative of the 1700s, but I think it was a springboard for people who wanted it to be true

interesting! im USAmerican and i literally cant tell the difference between british and australian accents so like, i REALLY have no context for this. i do remember ppl talking abt accents from back in my tma days, but all i can recall was just "people get classist towards people with Northern accents" and "the RP accent is the Posh Fuckhead accent" (and i could very easily be remembering those wrong, it's been a while)

i guess it makes sense that accents aren't always that neatly categorized. but because this is a topic i am INCREDIBLY ignorant about, i don't personally feel comfortable dismissing the "con's accent means he's poor" argument because you, an anonymous stranger on the internet, have told me that generalizing northern accents as working-class is patronizing and inaccurate, no offense

what i do feel comfortable saying is that the accents in ofmd are literally all over the place and for THAT reason the "izzy has a northern english accent so CANONICALLY he HAS to be working class" take seems like a pretty big reach, imo. if someones gonna choose to cling to con's accent specifically as proof of something in canon then i want to hear their explanations for ed and stede's kiwi's accents, for ed's british accents in the backstory, for doug's american accent. there are SOME instances in ofmd where character accents do have deeper implications, but it's mostly subtle, character-specific things, and i can easily see that those instances dont necessarily indicate that con o'neill's accent is one of them:

so disclaimer again that im VERY bad at telling UK accents apart (british accents especially), but im pretty sure the british characters who have dialogue and hold positions of power all have Rich Douchebag british accents?? (please correct me if im wrong lol). im talking abt the king, stede's two prisoners, and the badmintons, specifically. and it makes sense that they'd want to get the accents right for those guys, bc ofmd is VERY clear in making sure we know that The British Are The Enemy. giving them a stereotypical Rich Jerk accent just emphasizes that

i know samba schutte personally chose to have roach's accent say something about the Roach Backstory he made up as part of the show's encouragement to have the actors for some of the side characters come up with backstories for their characters, but idk if all the actors chose to have their accents mean something. also, coming up with backstories obviously wasnt something that actors playing characters with more importance to the plot were asked to do. rhys, taika, and vico were given their characters' backstories. izzy is more important to the plot than roach (and wee john and fang, two other characters whose actors' have talked abt the backstories they came up with for their characters), and while we dont have a backstory for him yet, i wouldnt be surprised if con didn't get to come up with one. basically, samba deciding to have roach's accent mean something doesn't inherently mean izzy's accent means izzy is poor

your “disinterested” exterior probably comes off as strong and guarded to armin, which is a personality he’s evidently drawn to. he has a way of being “caretaker” to people who are closed off in that way, because he knows how to bring their walls down (read: soft dom).

pen’s is home. so mf much he genuinely loves his party a lot and has gotten really attached but also like he misses home so bad it hurts. he felt like he was an intrinsic part of something that he fit perfectly and was never gonna have to give up, and he got to be w everyone he cared about all day. he’s haunted by mikolai’s wedding lol. he’s also haunted by The Shit That Went Down Pertaining To His Exile, His Subsequent Exile, Making the Pact,  Dying, Making The Pact Pt 2, The Thing He Had To Do After He Made The Pact, And Then Also Dying Again. he’s haunted by holding ori dead in his arms and bringing her back using power he now understands was from a Not That Great Place. he barely knew her then but he still thought about it all the time, and now he thinks abt it even more lol! he just is not used to life being. (he likes that the party’s nicknamed him pen tho, he thinks its sweet >:) ) his Name name is camil, but only his mom n mikolai called him that, so he thinks its very like..... informal, and he likes being a Formal Title Boy, but also it makes him go all soft bc the two ppl he loved most called him that!! conflicting feelings. 

agni’s had her nickname since she was really young i think, one of those like, you’re in fantasy kindergarten and learning how to spell and your first name is rlly long, so u employ a nickname very early Kind Of Moments. her full name is agnodice and she likes it well enough! it feels very kind of like. stiff and formal to her tho. she thinks agni suits her better!

pen worries for All Of Them. he tries to follow juni when he’s having one of his (as pen puts it) “freak out moments” bc he’s scared someday it’s going to be something that really hurts him, and he wants to be there to help if it does. pen has fully accidentally triggered ori before, and he feels really bad about it, especially since her triggers literally Set Her On Fire. so you know. he tries to be really careful with his words around her, especially since the incident a couple sessions ago. also, he is Very Concerned abt all of her past stuff with the mahne that he’s recently learned abt, especially putting together all the past knowledge she’s given him abt the river and what to do in a pact and Where Exactly She Got That Info From. he’s grateful she’s not in any of that anymore, though, whatever the mahne is exactly. alba’s impulsivity worries pen n he wants to make sure alba doesnt accidentally Put Himself In A Situation accidentally w that someday.

growing up agni sought validation from her mothers n instructors, now (while she still wants momsvalidation) she looks for validation mostly from herself, which is kind of bad bc she never feels fully satiated w her work n accomplishments!

for pen: ori feels like an older sister to him, hes too scared to express as much, but yeah! she is warm (he means figuratively but also lol) and Kind and Competent and Smart and above all, Safe. he defintely feels like, the safest with her than anyone else he’s encountered in his life, both i mean in the physical protection sense but moreso the emotional sense! yeah. juni is.,, complicated. at first pen was uhhh scared of him bc of the whole Sorcerer Thing, but after all of them talked abt it at jenny’s, that feeling passed and he was more just concerned for him than anything. he is Powerful and Pretty and even though he’s been thru a lot of things pen himself cant even comprehend juni’s still Soft and Understanding and pen really admires that about him! alba is Also Complicated, for different reasons. pen thinks he is Reckless and Impulsive but also Smart in his own little scheme way, and pen really appreciates him as like a constant in his life? like yeah, he is scary and concerning sometimes but he’s always Predictably as such and while pen doesn’t see alba as all that loyal in general pen is kind of blind to that stuff when it comes to ppl in relation to him, so he’s just glad he’s met someone that wants to stick with him.

hi, pals! it’s ya resident dumbass, claire, from the est. i’m currently on my game of thrones shit, so i’m probably gonna be screaming for the next couple of hours. bear with me, okay? i’ve been lurking this rp for SO LONG, and i made sure to wait until finals were over so i could devote my time to it. needless to say, i’m real exited to finally be able to join. uwu anyway, here’s my baby jade! fair warning, i haven’t played a character like her in a WHILEE... so let’s get right into it. tw: mentions of anxiety

shy girlie!! she’s always been that way. it wasn’t until she got older that she realized it ran deeper than just being shy. it was when she realized she was checking the way she moved, the way she talked, the way she crossed her legs when sitting, the way she cut the crusts off her sandwiches that it wasn’t just your typical shyness. eventually, she was told she had anxiety, and that made her reactions and thoughts make a lot more sense.

because of this, she wasn’t really the type to have a lot of friends. it’s not that she didn’t want them. oooohhh, she wanted them a WHOLE lot - the kind of friends that she would watch in the movies at home. she’d had a couple of them growing up, but it wasn’t what she had wanted. something was missing, and she was sure it was because of her. maybe she just wasn’t outgoing enough or fun enough. the list goes on. she was never someone’s best friend. at least, not in her eyes. she was always #2. 

being alone so much did help out in the long run tho. it gave her a lot of time to focus on her studies which eventually got her into west bridge. she’s here on scholarship, which makes the party situation a lot more dangerous for her. if she loses that, she’ll def have to leave, so she holding onto hope that nothing happens 

it also gave her a lot of time to go through her mom’s things, and one of the things she found & enjoyed the most was a basket full of old vogue magazine’s her mom had received in the mail when she was much younger. it was through this that led to her love of fashion. she lost herself in the details, focusing on every stitch of the fabric. a big lover of clothes, likes to pair different things up and pose in the mirror. made sketches all the time. 

when it comes to family, it’s p much your standard. she’s an only child and her mother was a stay at home mom until her last yr of high school when she got a part-time position as a paralegal. she’s a total mama’s girl. loves her mom with all of her heart. her mom is basically her best friend so they’re super close. she cried for a while when her parents left her at west bridge. she also takes any free time she has to call her mom. she loves her a lot dad too but because he was gone working a lot, the bond is just not AS strong as w her mother but strong enough. she’s pretty open with her parents, and the party is like the one thing she knows she’s gonna keep hidden for the rest of her life. 

she started out as a nursing major, a bsn specifically. it was a sensible degree. she knew it would make her a decent wage and she wouldn’t worry about funds in the future. it wasn’t what she loved, though, and that led her to change to fashion design in the spring of her first semester. she knows it might be risky, but she’s willing to work hard. she’s still scared of failing tho. 

she made a plan when she got to west bridge to make a new life for herself. she told herself college would be different and she wouldn’t be so scared of going places and meeting ppl. welllll, that didn’t happen. she was really confined to her dorm or stuck to her phone when out in public. mostly focused on doing her work at first. 

she’s probably made a few friends here and there?? probably not like SUPER CLOSE friends but more like some ppl who would sit with her if they had the same class or would smile at her if they saw each other. something like that?? plots, plots, plots

by her third year, she was fed up with being the shy, nervous, introverted girl. she had overheard others talking about manon’s party. she knew who manon was, but they had never really interacted. she made a plan to show up, even though her heart had told her not to. going to a party probably wasn’t the best way to start stepping out of her comfort zone, but she had made the decision and she was sticking to it. clearly that paid off lmao

going to the party did pay off in a lot of ways. she’s connected to a lot of other people in a way she’s never been. they all have a shared secret, much like friends would. though, she knows that’s a little too optimistic of a way to think about it. it probably opened the doors to a lot more interaction, but it’s also added more fears to the list she had before.

random facts !!

has an irrational fear that everyone’s like,,, staring at her & thinking she’s weird. really wants everyone to like her but she’s not sure how to make that happen (news flash, it won’t, jade).  

very interested in strong female leads. wishes she could be them.

I love Joyce, and I understand her reasons for wanting to move, but at the same time... I just think that's a very bad idea? Like, if it were just her, I'd say go for it (and while Jonathan's upset, I think he can handle it), but like... I'm really worried how it will affect Will and El (ESPECIALLY El). He's clearly devastated by it, and El's just lost her father, home, and powers (which must be like losing a limb for most of us), all in one fell swoop. (continued)

but yeah, i’m kinda interested to see how they explore that in s4. joyce is obviously such a good mother, but there’s def stuff that’s complicated about the decision to move. like in her mind, she’s not only doing what she knows is best for her own mental health, but she thinks getting her kids + el the hell out of this town is what’s best for their immediate physical safety, and she thinks that starting over somewhere new will probably be rlly good for the kids mentally. and maybe it will be, but it will undoubtably be rlly hard for them too. like u said, i think jonathan will be able to adjust most easily, bc besides nancy he didn’t rlly have any friends back in hawkins, but still it’s gotta be rough mentally if after living in the same town ur whole life to start somewhere new for ur senior year.

then with will, i do think it’ll be good for him to get away from hawkins. i really do. for him, his big cause of trauma is the upside down, which is literally the demonic hellish version of hawkins. so even tho he’s still not getting the visions and flashbacks, i’m sure it’s still difficult for him to walk around town and see all these places after being trapped in the upside down version of them. so i think getting will out of there will be rlly good for his recovery, but it’s still gonna be hard on him having to go to a new school and know nobody and rlly have no one but his family after having the same group of friends essentially his whole life. he’ll be lonely, and it’ll be rough

el is the most complicated tho. it’s going to be SO freaking difficult for her leaving hawkins, bc that’s rlly the only town she’s ever known, and it was a rlly big deal for her to accept hawkins as her home, and now she has to leave it. in some ways it’s harder for will and jonathan bc they’re leaving the place they’ve been for 14/17 years, but for el it’s harder in its own way too, bc even tho she’s had her home there for less time, being able to call hawkins her home was a HUGE deal for her. it’s not smth she just grew up with and naturally became her home, she actively built herself a home in hawkins. and that home includes hopper and the cabin too. it took her so long to rlly feel happy and safe and embrace this life she built for herself, and now i definitely think she’s gonna feel like the rugs been pulled out from under her. plus she’s dealing with grief, and after losing hop, it might make her feel better to run away somewhere there’s not as many painful memories, but i’m sure it’s also rlly hard for her to just LEAVE all that and leave all her memories of him that she probably just wants to cling to. and she’s losing her support system, which is the biggest problem. she’s going through so much grief and she’s losing all the people she’s always relied on when she’s upset. sure she has the byers now, and i’m sure a beautiful relationship will develop between them as a result, but she doesn’t have that relationship right off the bat, and that’s when the pain is gonna be at its worst and that’s when she’s gonna need that support system the most. in that sense i’m rlly glad the byers waited so long to move, and i wouldn’t be surprised if el was a big reason for that. joyce knew she needed some time to get out of her intital stages of grief and rlly form a relationship with the 3 of them before they bring her somewhere new.

but also with el, it might be good for her to be on her own. she’s always been a very independent girl, but in the sense that she can rely on herself for her own physical safety and well-being. she can survive the lab. she can survive the woods. she can do all this. but she’s never rlly been in a position before where she’s independent as just a part of her regular life, and now being out of hawkins, she’s gonna have to be very independent bc she’s gonna spend most of her days alone. she’s not gonna have school or anything, i’m sure joyce will pick up where hop left off with homeschooling, but she won’t meet ppl that way. and the byers will be away most of the time at school/work themselves. so it’ll be interesting to see how she deals with that. plus as i mentioned before with all her grief she might feel like it is too much to stay in hawkins surrounded by so many memories, so i think there’s a lot of different routes they can take el’s growth going forward

and not to drift a little off topic, but i rlly wonder what el’s reaction was to moving. or more importantly, how she felt she could react. bc i don’t think she was happy about the idea whatsoever, but did she say anything to joyce about it? was there any pushback? with will and jonathan i think there was some resistance, but with el? i don’t think so, just bc she doesn’t rlly have that kind of relationship with joyce (at least yet) where she WOULD be comfortable to express that. that’s smth i thought was rlly important with her relationship with hopper and it’s weird, but it’s an underrated thing: el didn’t have a problem getting angry at him. she never felt uncomfortable voicing it when he made her mad or frustrated or upset. and i think that was good, bc not only did it help her express her own emotions when she’s not always the best at communicating, but it also helped hopper bc he doesn’t know how to be a perfect dad and she’s obviously a child with a lot of specific needs so for her to be able to vocalize when she was angry with him was important for him to figure out what the hell to do sometimes. with joyce, i think it’ll be weird for el at first bc she can’t rlly express it when joyce makes her mad, and maybe the move is an example of that. but i think over time that could be a rlly interesting thing to explore to show how el kinda adapts to joyce’s parenting style which is more about just very emotional heart to hearts and sharing your feelings that way.

i also just kinda wanna know in general how all the kids feel about the move, even after the time jump. bc while i do think joyce has always been acting in their best interests, and it is good for all of them in some ways, do they feel that way? do any of them maybe hold a little bit of resentment against joyce? i would completely understand if they do, so i kinda hope that s4 goes into detail about how the 3 of them feel towards joyce regarding the move

This is honestly just copied and pasted from a yt comment I made on an older vid and I figured I'd share it here bc tumblr loves this shit I guess lol. God damn I've been questioning my gender for so long and ik rn im prob not still in the best position to be thinking about deep life shit like where I am mentally and im dealing with a lot in my life and also very insecure about potentially being trans bc a lot of my friends don't seem like they would be very accepting and my bf is only really into girls. I asked him how he would feel if I was nonbinary or looked like a boy and he just said he wasn't totally sure but he's only attracted to girls :c he's the sweetest bf in existence and im honestly so afraid of losing him, so aside from obviously not wanting to deal with all the other trans shit, I definitely hope im not trans bc I don't wanna lose him. Anyways, ill start with my childhood I guess. I was always super tomboyish. My older sisters (im the youngest sibling btw) were always p tomboyish so maybe I kinda got it from them but I kinda felt like I was more tomboyish than them? I felt like I was the most boyish girl I knew, like even meeting other tomboy girls in elementary school I felt like I couldn't really relate to them or like they couldnt relate to me enough idk. I also remember once making up a song about being like so tomboyish that I was basically a boy or something along those lines and sang it to my best friend at the time who I copied like all the fkin time (it honestly wasnt healthy lmao I didn't have good parents, also I think I started making up songs bc she did that and I wanted to like impress her), but she thought it was stupid and weird so I just forgot about it and moved on. I was embarrassed to even enjoy playing with dolls or play dress up games online and was determined to play masculine games like runescape (even tho I ended up doing girly shit in runescape anyways lmao) and considered myself one of the guys. In 5th grade when I started needing to wear a bra I absolutely didn't want to, tho some girls in my class thought it was weird I didn't wear a bra when they found out and that made me more insecure about it, but since then I've p much only worn sports bras. I have bought some more normal bras bc I wanted to look attractive in them for my SO or whatever but I still highly prefer my sports bras and can't stand wearing the other ones unless I have to bc my sports bras aren't clean lmfao. I always hated talking about genitalia and breasts n shit but that could just be bc of how I was raised and how my family was always so strict and such radical Christians and anything sex related was a sin, idk if its dysphoria or not. I've never rlly liked my chest and hated showing cleavage like so god damn much and still do but maybe that's the same thing or maybe I just want smaller boobs and that's it idk??? Like I'd want to appear to have a completely flat chest at least, idk if I'd want to actually like have a guy chest or not? Also huge issue with ppl seeing me naked or touching my boobs but again idk if that's gender related or just a normal issue I have. Tho I had a friend in high school (a girl, a very weird lewd girl) who would occasionally grope my chest randomly and it wasn't a huge issue but kinda made me uncomfortable and more aware of my chest. I really like when I wear big hoodies or when I lean over so my shirt kinda poofs out and it looks like I have a flat chest underneath. Though im not super uncomfortable with my boobs, like normally ill want nothing to do with them but I don't mind my SO touching them especially if they're really into it. I wouldn't say im rlly dysphoric about between my legs either, like yeah I think its weird and I hate monthlies and stuff but I think that's normal. I think if i woke up one day and had a dick I would be fine with it, I'd prob even enjoy it tbh lmao. I once had a dream that i was, well, a male dog like,,, ya know, with a female dog, and not to sound weird af (hey we were both dogs ok) but I think i kinda enjoyed it? I don't really remember any other dreams where I remember actually having a dick or feeling it but I've had several dreams as a male person, but p much all of them were like, I was seeing through a character's eyes or smth, not really that I was a guy, so idk if that's normal. I have the same dreams about being other girl characters, I'd say its split about 50/50. Because of this game community im in, a lot of ppl assume im a guy, and a lot of people still think im a guy and I haven't really bothered to correct them but idk if I find it more enjoyable bc its funny or if I enjoy not being referred to as female for once. I'll admit I feel most comfortable referred to as they/them, like without a doubt, if I could go by only 1 set of pronouns for the rest of my life it would be they/them. But ik that's not enough to call myself trans. I definitely wouldn't want to be 100% male. Like if I imagine myself as a grown man vs a grown woman id prob choose to be a woman. I don't like my voice but I think that's mostly just bc I sound 10 years younger than I actually am, and wouldn't really want a deep/masculine voice. Like a "tomboy" voice would be fine if that makes sense? I don't want facial hair or want to have a masculine body, I like that I have curves and soft skin and small hands. Personally I like my hair long bc its soft and people love it, but sometimes I kinda wish I had short hair and could pass as a boy. Like I'd wanna be a typical cute kpop boy ngl lmfao. I like the whole cute androgynous/feminine boy look and wish I could pull it off. Tho I also like really girly things sometimes and am okay being seen as a girl, i just want to be cute and attractive. Ik whether im trans or not I like being a mix of feminine and masculine, tho I admit in the past I've been kinda insecure bc I used to be super sure I was nb and thought me liking girly things and wanting to still havd long hair and wear girly clothes made me seem like "not trans enough" or whatever. But i guess here I am questioning myself again anyways. If I am nb, it sucks that ill never really be able to be openly myself and all but I've accepted by now that I kinda have to pick a binary and choose what I want to be seen as for the rest of my life, and im ok with being female. There are some things I dont like about my body whether they're really gender related or not but I can't afford to transition and wouldn't like most of the effects of T and am afraid of surgery and not sure I want top surgery enough to ever get it anyways, but I think if we lived in a perfect world and I could magically change my body at will and I wasnt afraid of judgment or being unattractive or whatever, I'd probably want to look androgynous and itd be cool to be able to change my genitalia at will lmao. If I had to choose 1 genitalia over the over I honestly have no idea what I'd choose but I have no desire to ever get bottom surgery, at the same time tho I honestly wanna someday get surgery or w/e to never be able to get pregnant. I just could not handle pregnancy or giving birth and I don't even like babies and breast feeding sounds awful so if I ever have kids they will be adopted 100% and most likely be older and like not newborn babies lmfao, babies are honestly so weird to me and they stink and cry and they're so fragile and im so afraid of like dropping them when I hold them lmao. But I like my nieces and nephews and I like being the cool aunt (is there a gender neutral version of aunt/uncle?) who lets them use my art supplies and helps them do fun stuff even if I get tired of them sometimes lol. Idk if that's gender related either but yeah I guess. This if kind of a more recent thing but I often say I'd make a great bf kinda as a joke bc of how I am in relationships like being the stereotypical sweet bf type who makes things for their partner a lot and wants to be their knight in shining armor and their protector and all that, but again prob not rlly trans related lmao just thought I'd throw that out there I guess. So when I was 17 was when I really started getting into trans stuff, prior to that I mostly just learned from my parents that trans ppl were "against god" and all that bs, and eventually started realizing lgbt+ isn't as bad as my family said and later realized I was bi. But anyways I met an agender person online when i was 17ish and I'd never heard it before and thought it was really interesting and asked them how you know you're agender bc after hearing their explanation of it i thought it described how I felt, but ofc they weren't transmed and just described it as being like a deep feeling or whatever and since then i started calling myself agender (and switched between a few labels but basically nonbinary) until my transmed friend told me I was ridiculous and that I wasn't trans, and honestly he was a huge dick but im a huge pushover lmao and I thought well he's trans so he must know what he's talking about, and though I felt discouraged about it I stopped calling myself nonbinary. Then I began questioning it again after not too long and basically since then I've been questioning my gender off and on. I'm now 22 and god I fucking hope im cis but also I feel like a part of me doesn't want to be cis if that makes sense?? Idk if that's because I don't like being a girl for some weird deep reason I don't know about despite being pretty sure I've gotten a lot of my feelings and their reasons behind them figured out, or if it's because I am trans and dont want to force myself to pretend im a girl 100% forever. At the very least, whatever the fuck my gender is, I want to continue going by they\them wherever I can and pretending to be a boy to strangers online and I'd love to cosplay male characters and bind and occasionally just dress masculine for the hell of it and probably wear sports bras for the rest of my life. I feel like in a way I cang possibly be trans because I can live with all of those things and be fairly comfortable still being seen as female for the rest of my life. My initial comments were observations that I made because I also have been thinking a lot about why there's so much biphobia or even just an inherent disbelief that bisexuality exists. i think that it's incredibly difficult to find a clearcut answer to this, but I think you made a great point that gayness is seen as though something "went awry" and the attraction is the direct opposite.. of the "correct" attraction (hetero) and there's something about bisexuality that disturbs this concept. if their fights ever get too intense and someone gets hurt, its usually L knocking his head against something sharp and light has to like sit him on the toliet so he can fix him up. when he’s administering first aid, light starts to fuss over L and makes a lot of concerned noises.

i don’t know abt comfort but light needs a lot of reassurance, both verbal and physical, that L does care abt him. he needs to b assured of his place in the world and in their relationship which L isn’t super great abt doing. but light is usually vocal abt when he needs comfort around L, whomst he rarely hides much of himself from, so its nvr a problem of L just not knowing. he just has no clue how to react.

i said this in my mikami/light post but uh, light laughing is so uproarious that he just. whacks the person making him laugh on the back super hard. i was debating on whether or not to include this one, since it seems nearly every character on this show yells.... except apparently that isnt really the case.

in the episode jinxed, its shown that robin actually talks. a lot. loudly. so much that the other titans celebrate when he loses his voice (its a little mermaid-esque episode, kinda). dont know if this one exactly counts, but thats how i saw the episode.

is really attached to his staff (he straight up calls it his best friend which makes cyborg upset), and gets mad when his friends insult it and his attachment. in the same episode, the staff breaks (thanks to the other titans) and,

robin breaks too. he literally cant fight crime effectively anymore because he cares about his staff that much and pretty much falls into a depression until the titans decide to fix it for him.

in the episode ‘some of their parts’, robin gets split into his 5 main personality traits. obsessive, paranoid, crazy, controlling... and perfectionist.

 apart from that already glaring piece of evidence, in the episode ‘uncle jokes’ when the titans dont meet the team dynamic they usually do, robin breaks down and starts acting like the other titans to “fix” the dynamic and make everything normal again because he cant handle change (which would fall under controlling as well, maybe???).

evidence eight/nine, and its two i really relate to. sensory issues and samefooding. (samefooding is when you eat the same foods over and over again without eating anything else, and its pretty common w autistic ppl including me)

to start this evidence off, robin literally cannot eat spicy foods. sometimes he cant even be around them.

he gets choked up and instantly has to replace the sensory with something else bc its simply way too much for him to handle, same buddy

and onto samefooding! robins done this twice in the show, in the episode ‘spice game’ (potatoes) and in th episode ‘the avogodo’ (avocados, duh). 

the titans dont like eating potatoes because theyre too bland (see th sensory issues above) and are sick of robin samefooding so much, which leads to them eating spicy foods (which robin understandably hates)

evidence ten (oh boy, two digits) is routines. theres probably a lot of evidence for this in the show and im just forgetful, but at the moment all i can think of is robin’s sleep pattern. in the episode ‘spice game’ (oh boy theres a lot of this episode on this list), he quickly abandons a conversation with the titans at exactly 7:15pm stating that its his bedtime why would he have one theres no adults in the titans tower and in other episodes, he states he needs an exact number of hours of sleep and that he apparently makes sleeping a sport (according to cyborg, at least). this behaviour COULD also count towards evidence seven (perfectionism)

evidence eleven!!!! robin is, really gullible and trusting. and really, really bad at sensing sarcasm at times. when the titans joke around at the idea of him becoming a cat by wishing on a shooting star, he honest to god gets off the couch and starts talking to the sky hoping it’ll work

in a meaner example in the april fools episode (although its implied the whole episode is staged im still including this one) the titans apart from raven somehow manage to trick robin into thinking his parents are alive which isnt too unbelievable for him to think, since hes hallucinated them before, but thats for a completely different overly long headcanon post and gets extremely upset when he finds out the titans were tricking him.

and finally, for evidence number twelve, because if i keep going this list will be way too long, the one you probably all saw coming,

robin stims!!!!

well, i only have two gifs of evidence for this, but he stims!! which i think is the one autistic behavior everyone knows about

in conclusion, i have no idea how to end this post, since this took me literal hours to type which is probably why the tone changes alot,

omg the amount of response ive gotten for new rules is unbelievable. I dont think ppl were even this into equilibrium. the last time u guys acted like this was during the golden boy trilogy and it really feels so good to have this again.
