i’m a she/her, bi, intp, scorpio. i’m 5ft tall, half mexican-half irish, i have pretty long brown hair with a few lighter sun highlights, hazel-greenish eyes, & an olive skin tone. my humor is rlly just sarcasm & being kinda crude. im kinda a pessimist, & i hold grudges & i can be spiteful to those who hurt me or those i care abt BUT im also kind of a doormat bc im an empath. i can seem aloof or disinterested at first but im just rlly shy around new ppl & when im comfortable around a person i become the most annoying talkative person lol. my friend says im “mean in a caring way” if that makes sense😭?.i’m an english/history person, i cannot stand math & science. i love rain, baking, reading, writing, tennis, & animals(cats the most) i hate wishy-washy ppl, bugs, & being bossed around. i love with acts of service & quality time, i would like to be loved with words of affirmation, quality time, & physical touch. i hate voicing my feelings so i’d rather show them with actions & i’d def b shy with initiating intimacy. i’m not very confrontational so if i were ever genuinely hurt i’d probs just give the silent treatment, but when u make me mad i can def call u out on it. i love making ppl laugh & teasing, i’m stubborn & i tend to overthink a lot. srry i’m rambling omg

you’d definitely have to draw it out of each other, but considering your both being history buffs and armin’s fascination with the world and sharp mind, you’ll end up sharing favorite books, learning from each other, and getting all geek-y and talkative together in a way that has people giving you amused looks.

your “disinterested” exterior probably comes off as strong and guarded to armin, which is a personality he’s evidently drawn to. he has a way of being “caretaker” to people who are closed off in that way, because he knows how to bring their walls down (read: soft dom). 

armin is both sensitive and scarily smart, which makes him an interesting mix of hoping for the best but planning for the worst more than anyone else. this would challenge your own natural pessimism. rather than someone blindly telling you things are/will be good, armin has the emotional intelligence to help reassure you/work through past grudges, etc. it’s by no means the easy route, but you’re both better for it. 

he’s also impossibly dependable. he devotes everthing to his loved ones, and it’s no different with his girl. his “auto-pilot” love languages are acts of service and physical touch, but when he’s in a more intimate position, he’s open and earnest with his words. 

while more “direct” love languages (words of affirmation, physical touch) may be more hard-hitting for him, he thrives with receiving acts of service because he’s an empath too. he understands reasons behind people’s actions really well (remember how he vouched for eren’s love for his friends based on eren choosing not to let any of them inherit his titan?). not only that, but his being an empath means he’ll never struggle with reading your emotions when you aren’t verbal about them. 

armin would love cats, and the two of you would probably get one and adore it. he’d also have a thing for braiding your hair. and beneath all the characterization stuff, he does have a dry/”sassy (i hate that word)” sense of humor, so you’d have a partner in that too.

to touch on that soft dom thing, armin has a way of...loving the attitude out of you. it’s hard to not want to be good for him when he’s so adoring and understanding. most definitely also a pleasure dom.
