I feel like I should say since there's been a recent uptick in a lot of communities I'm in/see stuff from a lot of white people pretending to be Asian, but you are not welcome here if you are in anyway stealing from Asian cultures for clout or the aesthetics of it

This includes if you're white and you give your self inserts Asian names, I truly do not care if your f/o is from an anime, you should not be using an Asian name under any circumstances. I hate that whenever I see someone using an Asian name online, I feel like I have to start searching their account to see if they're actually Asian or just a white person who likes the aesthetic of it bcs far too many white people will use Asian names here just bcs it sounds cool, with no regard for the actual cultural meaning behind it. Meanwhile actual Asian people will be mocked for their names, or treated like their names are too hard to learn to pronounce, or discriminated against based on their names

Asian cultures are not a fun little costume for people to dress up with. They aren't just a nice aesthetic, they aren't just a thing you can borrow from bcs you think it sounds cool

No, it's not some mad collective fever dream we all had, they really did film it (6 months of shooting between July 2021 and January 2022). Native title is 吉星高照 (Ji Xing Gao Zhao) English title is Eternal Faith.

If we ever get to see it is another matter, i probably don't need to say the main reason is because it's a danmei adaptation - it'll have a harder time passing the censors than the average cdrama. Since the popularity of other dangais it seems the censors have become stricter in any case. Job one is always going to be passing the censors.

While checking chinese websites and articles I did find several sources of a rumour that the site security punched a girl who was visiting the set. I can't vouch for the reliability of this but anything that can potentially attract criticism can delay a cdrama release further. Other criticisms include the casting of the male leads, how cheap the set design and costuming look, and a cancelled actress who may have to remain uncredited.

So it will need to satisfy the censors in order to be relased, as well as satisfy the general public and tgcf fans to be worth releasing and I'm not sure if it can do it all. If all goes well and it does ever pass censorship, we won't get a release date in advance. I don't know if you've ever experienced waiting for a cdrama release but you will not get much warning when it airs. It will likey drop with a couple days warning in form of internet rumours, or just completely out of the blue.

HAVING SAID THAT - another rumour is that a full costume bl drama like the untamed will be released internationally in Sept 2024, bypassing a Chinese release. It's just a rumour but it does make this webpage very interesting! But please remember everything above and not get too excited just yet 😂.

hip scores say a lot about the hips of the individual dog but is not on its own a clear indication of genetic potential, if the better of these dogs are the worst of their combo and are bred to better hips, stacking the cards in favour of producing hips that are not-worse than this parent? my breed being what it is rn, i'd probably risk that tbh.

not gonna lie, I get pissed off when I see comments under clips of the bllk anime finale saying shit like "if only the entire season has this level of animation."

it just feels so.. purposely ignorant? the reason why s2 turned out the way it did is because of the executives not giving enough time to the animators. they were rushed for deadlines and overworked to hell. of course, I also want the production committee and the studio to have treated their animators better so that they could have created something they're proud of. but what's done is done.

those amazing moments in season 2 were done in SPITE of the working conditions. they are moments of victory during this hellish production.

yet it feels like ppl are downplaying or undermining these amazing scenes just because of the quality of the rest of the season. as if it is still the animators fault that those other moments looked bad too. they did the best they could with these conditions, and it is better to accept that and praise the good that this season DID have. bc while those bad moments were 100% on the time constraints, those good moments come from the skills of the anime team.

fuck the executives still. maybe in another universe, we could have gotten a season 2 with consistent good animation and a good schedule for the animators.

but for right now, you're not gonna catch me dragging a season that, despite the hellish production, so clearly had love and effort poured into it by everyone that worked on it.

The games been bot-free for a few months now. At worst I've run into a few closet cheaters.

I won't spend a dime on the game till at least a year has passed, but the game's playable. #FixTF2 did what it needed to. It feels super weird to say, but the game is essentially fixed. You can queue into casual without expecting a lobby full of bots spewing gross and hateful shit in the chat (now its just the bottom scoring scout doing that, though with a significant lack of cheats).

For now I'll be enjoying the game to the fullest.
