Theodore, at age 13, began to navigate his not-so-small crush on you

Theodore, at age 16, felt his heart in his stomach as he swallowed his pride and finally asked you out

That is where our story starts.

By 17, you got comfortable enough and started spending the night in each other's dorms; one random Tuesday morning, Theo woke up earlier than usual, you were still fast asleep. Theodore was a very productive person. If he woke up early, he would get up, make a coffee, go for a run around the grounds, come back, and shower, all before most had even opened their eyes. As he reached for the corner of his side of the blanket and moved to start his day, you felt him, causing you to stir, your brows quickly scrunching, your body automatically moving towards him; you reached for him even in sleep. Something in his mind slowed, something in his heart raced, something in his soul shook. Dropping the blanket in his hand, he surrendered to you, laying so close, gently caressing your face, feeling peace in your dream state. Then it dawned on him, if I married her, this would be the last face I would see before I slept and the first I would see when I woke up.

That's when it began.

His constant reminders of marriage.

That very morning.

When your eyes fluttered open, Theos wide eyes already met yours, it would've scared you in his eyes weren't so dreamy.

"Good morn-" you start

"Marry me" he interrupted

"What?!" you laughed out. It was too early for this

"Marry me?" he smiled

"shut up" you laughed, reaching your hand under your pillow, softly throwing it at him

"Come on, why not?" he pleaded

"Theodore, we're still in high school, that's why", you smile

"Fine, you fucking time waster, but after we get out of here, I'm gonna marry you", he insisted

You thought it was a passing thought.

Something he wouldn't bring up again.

Boy, were you wrong, he proved that time and time again over the next two years.

Sitting in class, he would peck a kiss on your cheek from behind you. "Kisses for the Mrs" he would whisper with a smile before returning to his own seat

In the great hall, he slapped Matteo's hand away as you and he both reached for the same dish. "Can't you see my fiance wants that slice?" he grits, serving you before Matteo puts it on his own plate. "You aren't fucking engaged?" A defeated Matteo retorts, arms out in confusion. "Don't start", you apologise on behalf of you and your pretend husband

In Hogsmeade, you and Pansy tried on dresses. Theodore was walking past when he saw you in the mirror. Letting himself in, he slithered behind you, his reflection joining yours in the mirror, slipping a hand down your waist. "You know, if you look this good in this dress, I can only imagine how good you'd look in white," he'd smirk, "you know when we get married," he muttered on his way to the register, leaving money, giving the workers strict instructions to charge him for any dress you bought, for them to keep the change too.

When Theodore had early morning Quittich practice, he would leave a steaming cup of coffee or tea on your bedside, accompanied by a note: " To keep you warm while I'm gone, good morning, my better half, Mrs Nott."

When you studied in the libary, you had a very distinct look of focus. He would lay a bored hand on his face, "Come on, let's go for a smoke", he whined, "No, Theodore, We have final exams soon. You should be studying. Go without me if you want" you explain, fingers pointing at text on his book, "not going without you" he said frustrated under his breath. Theodore kept testing, blabbing nonsense, attempting to distract you, staring at you instead of the open books. "Why are we wasting time? You could be pregnant by now," he said, his free hand twirling your hair. This caused you to slam your book closed, looking up at him, your eyes widening. "What!?" he laughed. "If I had it my way, we would've tied the knot last year, and we would have a kid on the way", he continued; you did nothing but shake your head and fight your growing smile.

Walking through the gardens, you pointed at some hydrangeas. "My favourite flowers" you smiled. "I know" he smiled "I'd walk down the aisle with hydrangeas in my hand," you say softly, leaning in to smell the flowers, "When we get married, I will" you say picking some to take with you. Theodore could've fainted on the spot. 'When we get married,' your voice repeated in his mind, pulling you up into a deep kiss

When you finally graduated, Theodore pulled your father aside. If there was something Teddy valued, it was tradition; he was officially asking for your hand.

Returning to you, smiling ear to ear, he suggests you join him on a walk. Reaching the tree near the Black Lake, he kissed your forehead, one hand intertwined with yours, the other hand in his pocket, fidgeting with a small box.

A box containing a ring.

That he had bought on the year prior, now all that was left to do was kneel.

maxverstappen1 yes, the rumors are true. i have a girlfriend, and she is indeed a nurse at the local hospital in Croatia. we decided to keep the relationship to ourselves because i didn't want her privacy taken away from her, or her focus shifted from her studies. i wish we could have had the opportunity of announcing this on our own terms, but the paparazzi got the best of us this time. i urge you all to be respectful towards her, any hate towards her will absolutely not be tolerated by me or anyone from my team. i hope you will come to love and respect her as much as i do

Hello my lovely! 💞💞 I actually am in recovery this week after having a surgical procedure yesterday, so I'm finally getting a chance to catch up on my TBR reading and the shows I've had on my watchlist. 🤪

Ooh introducing Dean to Cuban espresso was the scene that inspired that whole fic of Midnight Espresso, and ultimately turned it into a whole series of Dean x plus-sized Latina fun!! lol

This is such a fun question though!! You as a barista probably know way more about coffee than I do, but here's my take on these guys' orders...

HEADCANON: What Dean Winchester, Beau Arlen, Soldier Boy (Ben), and Russell Shaw would order at a coffee shop. ☕

Why, an espresso of course! 🤎

Cram that little cup full of sugar, and you've got Dean hooked on a heavy-hitter fix that'll keep him up during long research sessions. (It also gives you the opportunity to distract him from said research, give him a taste of another steamy fix. 😘❤️‍🔥)

Beau Arlen

Ooh I feel like he'd protest at first and claim to solely drink Americanos, but he's a basic latte guy.

Hit him with some caramel or hazelnut, and he's happy. But you could also hook him into being a little adventurous with a pistachio or "brown sugar" latte lol. Like most things, Beau is willing to try almost anything once. 😉

Soldier Boy (Ben)

So he's definitely going to be thrown by all the modern selections of coffee. (i.e. "What the fuck is oatmilk?") And how the hell can you get milk out of cashews and almonds?

All the health crazes, "drip" coffee, and milk alternatives are definitely going over his head, or he's mocking them. ("Save that pussy drink for Hughie." 💀)

But one thing he might go for, other than a black coffee, is a nice cold brew, hold off on too much foam -- can't be getting the milkstache, now can he? But he'll like it even better if you make it "Irish." 💚

Russell Shaw

Last but certainly not least, we have Russell! I don't think he's picky about his coffee, considering he probably drinks a lot of free motel coffee. lol

But! I think he'd appreciate a nice flat white at a proper café. It's more robust than a normal cappuccino and less milk, so he'd argue that he's getting more "bang for his buck." 😂

—Go on, open it,— he urged, his voice low, almost a whisper.

Amelie carefully opened the box, revealing a delicate necklace inside. The pendant was a polished, gold "L," sleek and elegant. She gasped softly, her fingers tracing the letters, her breath catching in her throat. It was simple, yet stunning, the kind of piece that would be treasured forever.

Lando’s eyes sparkled as he watched her reaction, his grin widening. —I know it’s not much,— he said, his voice soft and a little vulnerable. —But I thought… maybe it could be a reminder. A reminder that no matter how far apart we are, you always have a piece of me with you.—

Her eyes met Lando’s, and for a moment, everything else faded. —It’s perfect,— she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. She looked at him, a smile breaking through the tears still glistening on her cheeks. —I love it, Lando. I really do.—

Lando’s face softened, and he stepped closer to her. —I'm glad.— His voice was gentle, but there was a hint of mischief lurking beneath the surface. —But I think you’re forgetting something.—

Amelie tilted her head, puzzled, as he pulled something from his pocket with a grin that sent a flutter through her chest. He held up a keychain, a simple black leather one, but attached to it was a small, gold letter "A."

Her eyes widened, the realization hitting her immediately. —You’ve got an ‘A’?—

—Of course,— Lando said with a wink, his gaze intense as he closed the distance between them. —We’ve always been connected, Ames.—

Her heart skipped a beat as she processed his words, the warmth of the moment wrapping around her like a cozy blanket. She raised her hand and touched the "L" necklace again, her fingers brushing against the cool metal, feeling the connection between them deepening with each passing second.

—You’re killing me with all this sweetness,— she murmured, looking up at him through her lashes. —But I’m not complaining.—

Lando chuckled, his eyes glimmering with a mixture of affection and playful desire. —Well, I think we both know how much I love to make you melt,— he teased, his voice dropping to a lower, more intimate tone. Amelie felt the heat rise in her cheeks as she turned her face slightly, their lips now only a breath apart. —You really can’t keep your hands off me, can you?— she teased, her voice soft, with a flirtatious edge that made Lando grin even wider.

—I’ve been trying,— he whispered, his lips brushing against her neck, —but you just make it so damn hard.—

Her breath hitched at the feel of his lips on her skin, the familiar warmth of his body pressing closer to hers. She tilted her head, giving him more access, her hands threading through his hair as a quiet moan escaped her lips. —Maybe… you should stop trying,— she whispered back, her voice thick with longing.

Lando’s breath hitched at her words, his fingers gently brushing against the back of her neck. The playful, teasing energy between them shifted, becoming something deeper, more urgent. His lips found her neck once again, the kiss sending shivers down her spine. He pulled back for just a moment, looking into her eyes with that irresistible mischievous glint that always made her heart race.

"You’re trouble," he whispered, his voice a little rougher now, the underlying desire evident.

Before Amelie could respond, Lando’s lips captured hers in a kiss that was deep, slow, and full of longing. She melted into him, her body responding instinctively to his touch. The kiss was a perfect balance of passion and tenderness, a reminder of everything that had brought them to this moment.
