THE RECORDING SESSION

Studio Sessions for RCA on June 6, 1970: RCA’s Studio B, Nashville The last entry of the evening, “Heart Of Rome,” was an up-tempo dramatic ballad in the operatic vein of “It’s Now Or Never” or “Surrender”; it may have had a little more irony going for it than the earlier cuts, but by the end it had Elvis straining for the high notes — and the band struggling to keep awake. Excerpt: "Elvis Presley: A Life in Music" by Ernst Jorgensen. Foreword by Peter Guralnick (1998)

The song was recorded on the same day as the hits "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" and "Just Pretend", as well as "I Didn't Make It On Playing Guitar", "It Ain't No Big Thing ( But It's Growing)", "This is Our Dance" and "Life".

It was past midnight when they were working on "Heart of Rome", the last song recorded that night. Elvis, the recording team and musicians spent about ten hours working at the RCA's studio during the Nashville sessions from June 4 to 8, 1970, reporting each evening at 6pm and working until the wee hours, wrapping up the sessions around 4:30 am. Elvis and his band recorded 35 masters over the five-days 1970 recording sessions in Nashville.

Woozi is THAT type of boyfriend !

This is my personal opinion and perspective. It may not accurately reflect their real-life personalities or behaviors.

He’s not one for dramatic displays of affection, but catch him zoning out during practice because he’s thinking about you? It happens more often than he’ll ever admit.

Instead of saying, “I love you,” he’ll write it into a melody or casually drop it in a late-night text like, “Today was good. You make it better.” And you’ll just sit there like, Sir???

Woozi will sigh deeply when you cling to him, muttering, “Do you have to be this needy?” But the way his hand tightens around yours or how he leans closer says, don’t ever stop.

He’ll mock you in the cutest way—mimicking your voice or laughing at your dramatic reactions. But if someone else tries to tease you? Woozi’s glare is enough to silence them.

Woozi might act like he’s made of steel, but one sleepy I missed you, and he’s melting into your arms like butter. His duality, please help—

He won’t say much, but he’ll make sure your seatbelt is fastened, remind you to eat, or casually step in front of you if someone’s acting shady.

Compliments? Not his forte. He’ll stammer something like, “You’re…uh…you look fine, I guess,” and then turn bright red. But catch him staring at you when he thinks you’re not looking? Yeah, you’re his world.

Woozi writes love into every note. If you listen closely to his songs, you’ll hear pieces of your story woven into them. When you realize it? He’ll just smile softly and say, “You inspire me.”
