Round 4 because Part III was that good, holy crap. Hear me out:

Linda-058 has a secret sweet tooth. Growing up in the Spartan program, sweets were usually fought for if they weren't given out as a reward or hidden well, so she learned to hide hers the best. (She also learned where all the other candidates hid theirs.) Even outside the program, she kept it a secret because she had a reputation to keep. She couldn't be Linda, the Sniper Goddess if she was caught eating ice cream. Then, she met you. You had never seen her blush before, but her face was as red as her hair when she shared a chocolate milkshake with you. When you both finished, she kissed the leftover whip cream off the tip of your nose.

Kelly-087's affections are usually expressed physically in a variety of ways. She has a tendency to lift you off the ground when she hugs you, playing with your fingers while holding hands, or "sneak attacking" you with kisses when she thinks you aren't paying attention. You know she's coming, but you don't have the heart to tell her that.

Cal-141 likes to carry you in the way one would carry a bride. She thinks it's cute, and it reminds her of the tales of knights and princesses from when she was a child before the Spartan program. One time, you had bought her a golden dress that would fit her because she had mentioned wanting one ever since she was a kid, and it was like the fairy tales had come true. Cal offered her hand to you after she managed to put it on, insisting on dancing with her knight in shining armor.

Sarah Palmer isn't the best with her feelings. Being an ODST during the war and the Commander of all the Spartan-IVs after the war, she tends to hide her emotions behind a mask. Fortunately, as her second in command, you're able to see past the mask she puts on for others. She shows her love in subtle ways, in ways your subordinates wouldn't notice. The way her touch lingers just a few seconds longer, the way her lips ever so slightly curl upward when she sees you, how her eyes tend to flick to you. She's a lot less subtle with her affections in the privacy of your own quarters though.

PART 3 WAS FREAKIN AMAZING, tell me more,

Linda would threaten you to never tell anyone, not even the rest of blue team can know. This is also where she would confess to stealing everyone else's sweets in the program. AND KISSES MY NOSE *FERAL NOISE* that got me good, I'm screaming, and I just tossed my laptop to the side in excitement. Linda <3, honestly, Linda is a beauty-

Kelly is the most affection spartan and she has moments where she looks at her partner and this unexplainable desire to shower them with kisses comes over her. She also likes holding their face in the palm of her hand and will say "my whole world fits in the palm of my hand" ALSO, I would really like Kelly to pick me up and hold me against the wall-

because she would just to see her partner get flustered as hell

omg Cal <3, sweet angel, she would carry you like a princess and even kiss your nose or forehead when she's getting overwhelmed with feelings. AND THE DRESS, first, she would look beautiful, and second, you would help her pin her hair up while you also kiss her scars.

I believe Sarah and her partner would have their own subtle way of their affections for Sarah's sake too. Roland is the only one who has caught on and has been threatened into silence not by the commander but by her second-in-command. Sarah thinks about her partner in the little things throughout the day and when they're in bed together, she will tell them about all the things that made her think of you with a small smile on her face and her ears turning into a tinted pink.

Any doll brand that tries to appeal to the christian soccer moms that call their dolls "demonic sluts" or "child hookers" are missing the point so badly. Changing the dolls faces, clothes, or bodies won't improve their opinion on these dolls, because those were never the issues to begin with. These are just the kind of people that take issue with virtually any depiction of the female form because it makes them uncomfortable. Even the amount of skin showing isn't the problem. (I've seen westerners call licca-chan "pedo bait" before. No dolls are safe lmao)

If it was about modesty, realistic body image, positive role models, etc then they would also take issue with male action figures that are marketed to boys as well (they're built like fridges, wear skintight bodysuits, and are made to play in fight scenes). But they don't. I've never seen anyone call action figures "roided up gigolos" or "slutty barbarians." Only the toys designed to look like girls/women are called sexually derogatory names and slurs. How curious.

There IS an important conversation to be had about over sexualization of toys aimed at little girls, but this is not what this is about. These people pearl-clutching over dolls in strapless dresses, skirts, or crop tops aren't doing it because they are concerned about the mental health or innocence of young girls. Tbh I think it's more of a projection of internalized misogyny from these women, and just plain old misogyny from men.

Alright, I have to admit I have not kept up at all with the Carnage/Flash side of Venom comic verse these past few years, so - who is Aria? The few issues I've read centered on Flash during these wacky symbiote times did not contain her, and the Marvel comics wiki gives me nothing. But you have me curious.

Hey there, friend! You wanna know who Aria is? Well, that's exactly what I'm here for. You're right, though - I'm not sure she even has a wiki article yet. She doesn't even have a last name! But I'm all for those underappreciated characters, so, let's go.

(Carnage #1)

We first meet Aria as the bartender at the very on-the-nose-named "Pour Decisions" bar. "Wait, isn't Flash an alcoholic?" Well... yeah. But Aria doesn't know that. And As you can see by the narration, it doesn't have the same effect on him that it used to. But, you'll see this is just another demon he has to battle.

Aria is clearly familiar with Flash - he's become a regular by this point. He's also a bit of a loner but he still knows how to put on the charm. But also, Aria understandably shows some concerns about him.

Flash is seeking purpose in his life, but he's not finding it. Aria knows he's well-meaning, but as always, Flash sometimes gets himself into trouble when he tries to help. It's too bad!

Because Flash is the best, he does apologize for his ill-timed heroics, and like, honestly, who can stay mad at him? Not Aria, even with her perfect hair. (I love her hair.)

(Carnage #2)

She also calls him out on looking like a damn mess.

She's SO into him though and it's so cute. I'm gonna cry. She wants to take that boy home and [redacted/saved for fanfic].

Aria unfortunately vanishes for most of the rest of the series, but since we're appreciating women, let's appreciate Liz for a second here too, after she and Flash take down Carnage.

I'm always giggling at this. Flash doesn't get why there are so many damn symbiotes these days, either.

So even though Aria saw Flash initially as a mess (which he was)...

...after nearly dying at Carnage's hand multiple times/almost losing his mom/being trapped in the Darkforce Cube etc etc, he decides he's got to put himself back together. I do like the panel of him fixing one of his prostheses a lot. It's a nice touch we haven't seen the likes of since Space Knight. (Nice job, Gronbekk & Perez!)

I love this scene where she makes him a mocktail. A fruity little drink. And he does love it. Because who wouldn't.

Like, oh my God, even Liz sees it. She's definitely hinting that if Flash doesn't snatch up Aria, she will.

And then my most FAVOURITE Flash/Aria scene... that truly solidifies that maybe possibly there's a chance for them??? MAYBE??

THAT BOY IS GETTING LAAAAAAAAAAAID ahem. Anyways.

I just, I really love this! It's spot-on with the fact that when Flash is really into someone, he's kind of awkward! But he's soooo sincere and Aria is SO into it. He's taking active interest in what she's into! He's pulling himself together! He's living again!

I want Flash/Aria to happen so badly like, you don't even know. I want them to go jogging in crop tops together. I want them watching birds and getting coffee and her giving him That Look fifteen more times. I want him to treat her RIGHT and for this to be his best relationship since Betty.

But mostly, I just want Aria to survive the next goddamn event.
