Congrats, you just boosted Lucifer's ego out the roof. He knows its probably nothing but he can't help but feel a sense of pride in thinking that maybe you're leaning against him as a way showing that you're together.

Mammon loves it! He'll blush furiously before shyly holding your hand while you're still talking. Its such a small act but it manages to make his heart do a little flip. And honestly, anything you do makes him lose his mind <3

Levi's first instinct is to jerk back and create as much distance as possible 'cause living with the brothers have made him cautious of unexpected attacks. But when he realizes that you leaned into him. Into him. Levi.exe has stopped working.

Satan finds the action absolutely adorable, almost like a cat. He'll snake a hand around your waist just to nudge you more close to his side 'cause he can't get enough of the way his heart feels around you.

Pls he'll literally start squealing. Asmo is so happy and smug about it, he thinks its so adorable he'll start clinging to you all day talking about it. Will also definitely rub it in the brothers' faces.

Probably the only one who has the most normal and heartwarming reaction. Beel's first instinct is to wrap his arm around you to tuck you into his side much like Satan. He doesn't think much of it but if someone points it out, he'll start blushing.

This little shit. You'd think that Belphie's probably too sleepy to even notice but he's an observant person and god does he get cocky at your little move. Later, he'll oh so casually mention it infront of the brothers just to see the jealous looks on their faces.

Every time Leviathan speaks to you about anything, he immediately wishes he hadn’t. Nothing you do indicates that you think what he said was stupid. You react in a perfectly normal way. But somehow, he knows deep down that you’re just being nice to him.

Levi curls up in his tub at night and thinks of everything he’s ever said to you, over and over and over again. He remembers your reactions, but discards them in favor of what he assumes is the truth. One where you think about how odd he is, how you wish he would stop trying to talk to you. He thinks about how he can’t take it back. It’s too late and the damage is done.

Even when you reach out to him, when you start the conversation, when you ask him to go with you somewhere, when you show up to his room wanting to play video games, he still doesn’t believe that you actually like him. And every time you leave again, he’s obsessing over everything he did, everything he said.

And then one day, he isn’t. He’s not sure when it happened. Instead of the usual anxiety, he finds that he’s happy. That he’s grateful for the time he got to spend with you. He doesn’t question the things you said or did, doesn’t assume that underneath your smile you were wondering why you put up with him.

Levi knows that you like him. It’s in the way you never give up on him, the way you always seek him out. The times you’re vulnerable with him and tell him about your own feelings, needing comfort from him. The way you trust him with your thoughts, your truths.

It makes Levi realize that he can trust you, too. That he can hush those anxious thoughts telling him that he’s unworthy. Because now he sees his own worth when he looks into your eyes.

A/N: These requests were just too good, and I had quite a bit of fun with it. Karen Smith is such an icon, I had to take this idea and run with it, lol. Mostly fun, a few serious parts. Hope you guys like it - may expand on this later (perhaps with an nsfw version). ☆ LUCIFER:

-> He believed it all to be an act at first - surely he and Lord Diavolo had the sense to acquire a human for the exchange program that would actually be up to the task to complete it. Surely you were just pulling a prank on him, much like his younger brothers would. You aren't actually this dense...right? 

-> Feels even more responsible for you than normal, so he feels the need to keep a tight leash on you. You bring a lot of chaos to the Devildom, and he can't have you ruining any reputations (yours, his or Lord Diavolo's), so he practically becomes your shadow in order to minimize any mayhem you may cause - especially since you're so prone to injury.

-> Has a hard time punishing you - your obliviousness causes you to have a hard time taking any of it seriously. He'll never forget the first time you started giggling during one of his lectures, after he caught you and two of his brothers destroying the kitchen. After many headaches, he's had to come up with whole new ways to deal with you - most of which are torture via boredom.

♡ He's not sure when, but somehow, he began to find you rather endearing - and next thing he knew, he had actually fallen for you. No one is more shocked than he is - maybe it's the innocence in your eyes when you look up at him, or the way your smile brings a blush to his cheeks. But now he can't help but to feel affection for all of those dumb little things you do. You have turned the Lucifer Morningstar into a full-blown morosexual for you, and there's no turning back for him now - he is beyond smitten with you, although he does often question himself. "How can a human such as you stir such emotions within me?" So innocent, so earnest, so loyal. Many aspects of Lucifer's life is difficult, but loving you is so easy.

♡ As the Avatar of Pride, he has no issues being very blunt with his feelings for you. The night before, he stays up late in his study, writing several drafts of the confession he plans to recite to you over dinner at Ristorante Six. He knows you, after all, and wants to make himself very clear.

♡ He loves that you depend on him, he practically lives for it. You constantly need his help and protection, and his already ineffable Pride gets inflated every time you turn to him with those innocent eyes and pouty face of yours. It gets to a point where he is used to always being with you - you fall into a synchronicity, a routine. It gets to the point where Lucifer even asks you to move into his room; he would love to share the space with you, and it would just be much simpler for you both - he knows what's best for you, after all.

-> If anyone ever questions his relationship with you, he shuts it down instantly with a singular murderous glare. Pride is unshakable, but Lucifer is still prone to annoyance. He'll string them up in the middle of the RAD courtyard without even breaking a sweat. Nothing like a little public shaming to show the naysayers who the true imbeciles are.

☆ MAMMON:

-> Idiocy loves company, and he's beyond glad to have you in his company! Two peas in a pod, no wonder Lucifer stuck the two of you together!

-> He loves how easy it is to rope you along into pulling schemes with him - he's never had a better partner in crime! And when the two of you inevitably get caught by Lucifer, your cluelessness tends to come in handy.

-> He also loves how your grades are equally bad! It means he won't have to suffer the wrath of Satan's study sessions alone anymore.

-> Pretty much becomes your shadow when he notices how clumsy you are - any human would be in danger in the Devildom, but your stupidity leads you into more peril than normal. After a couple of minor injuries (and a scrape with a lower demon), Mammon decides it's best if he doesn't let you out of his sight. Lucifer put him in charge of you after all, he's just doin' what he's told!

♡ But in all honesty, it's another way you two connect. He loves all the crazy times you two have together, the impulsive adventures you get yourselves into. He feels like you both understand each other better than anyone! The only problem is, between his tsundere act and your extreme obliviousness, your relationship is stuck in limbo. All of his brothers' teasing goes right over your head, and a flustered Mammon usually denies it while trying to hide what a blushing mess he really is. Until, one day, he can't take it anymore - "I'm in love with ya, ya big dummy," he blurts out as the two of you ride in his Demonio 666. 

♡ And ever since that random Tuesday afternoon, you and Mammon have been inseparable. You two are truly like twin flames - consequences don't even matter as long as you're by his side. He'd take a million lectures, be strung up a million times, hell he'd even cut up his credit cards into a million pieces if it means he gets to keep you forever. That dumb smile of yours is worth more than all the Grimm in the Devildom, and he'd do anything for you to flash it at him, even if just for a moment. He wasn't sure he believed in soul mates before, but now that he has you, he's damn sure you're his.

-> No one really gives Mammon grief about his relationship with you, seeing as you're a perfect match made in Hell (affectionate). But you can imagine if they did, they'd suddenly find themselves in more debt than the Avatar himself. And if that doesn't work, he'll fight for ya! Mammon is no stranger to winning a scrap ;)

☆ LEVIATHAN:

-> He makes a lot of assumptions about you at first - you're just another basic normie, aren't you?!

-> Sometimes believes you are mocking him with your questions - especially when it comes to his special interests. How can you possibly be so clueless?! He's explained this game to you literally ten times?!?! You must be inting or something!! You have to be doing this on purpose!!!

-> Also believes your forgetfulness is on purpose, thinking you secretly hate him - or at the very least, don't really care for him. He figures when you agree to hang out with him that you're either just being nice, or are too dumb to figure out how to get out of it, so you must just go along with it. So when you forget him, he thinks you're purposely ghosting him for someone better.

-> He eventually confronts you about all of this, only for him to be met with a confused look on your face. The two of you awkwardly chat it out, and afterward he starts to think that he may be the bigger idiot for making so many assumptions.

-> But once he understands you, you start to grow on him - you remind him of that one MC from 'Oops! That Normie Who Dropped in from Another Realm is Now My Bestie and I May Be Developing a Crush!' and how they may say and do stupid things, but it's actually kind of endearingly cute! And they're so soo loyal! Wait, you actually kinda look like them, too. Prepare yourself - new cosplay incoming, courtesy of Leviathan. He does second guess himself over it a bit - Is it weird if he makes the matching cosplay to go along with yours? It's totally weird, isn't it?! No it isn't, because you're too dumb to think too deeply into it! But he will overthink it all the same.

♡ Not the best at openly talking about his emotions, and he doesn't want to ruin your current relationship with him, so it may be more difficult for him to get across his feelings to you. He keeps dropping subtle little hints in the hopes that you'll eventually pick up on it. And if you never do, one day he just blurts it out (after numerous pep talks from his brothers). He tries writing a confession in the notes app of his DDD to read off for you, but he gets so nervous he drops his phone and ends up just shouting, "I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!" - after which is followed with a flurry of apologies from the otaku demon. 

♡ And after that, you find yourself practically living in his room - and he finds himself purposely losing at games so that you can get a few wins, all to see that excited look on your face that he adores so much. He truly has found his player two! ^.^

-> It would be unusual to find the hikikomori demon in a social situation where someone is questioning your relationship to his face - he does spend a lot of time defending you online, however, and has been successful in getting a few of your haters' accounts nuked. RIP.

☆ SATAN:

-> Honestly annoyed by you at first. You just ask so damn many questions, and it seems like you don't even retain the answers. 

-> Then one day he overhears Lucifer lecturing you about your failing grades - Challenge accepted. You are now his new project. How hard could it possibly be? It would be quite the accomplishment for him, and he's sure it will annoy Lucifer in the mean time! Seeing him put so much effort into the stupid human is sure to throw Lucifer off of his game! The Old Man will think he is plotting something nefarious, but-

-> Ahem. Anyways, expect your bookshelves to rapidly fill up with gifts from him - with everything from textbooks, to picture books, to entire series of epic novels. Expect him to be over after dinner every night, to sit with you an indulge in one of these books. He'll let you pick something most of the time, but he occasionally becomes insistent of one of his own picks - the erotica he reads to you tends to go over your head, anyways.

-> Quickly finds he has to adjust his teaching style, having to go over rudimentary concepts with you multiple times. He's much more patient with you than he is with Mammon his brothers, his temper non-existent as he slowly repeats the lesson to you again. He knows you are trying your best, and is willing to put in the same effort you put forth. Occasionally you do aggravate him in this regard - he usually just takes it out on the first one of his brothers he sees, instead of you. Thankfully.

-> He's unsure what it is about you, but something about you really calms the wrath raging within him. Maybe it's your carefree, peaceful nature that soothes the storm within him. Maybe it's that adorable smile that can light up the darkest of Devildom nights. Maybe it's the way you never fail to make him laugh when you make Lucifer lose his temper. Either way he hasn't failed to notice that his days are better with you in them.

-> Sometimes his patience for you does wear thin though - especially when your stupidity gets you hurt! 'You're not going to survive in this realm if you keep acting so thoughtlessly,' he says through gritted teeth, as he patches up the lacerations on your arm - caused by you touching a killer plant adorned with a very large warning sign. He does his best to keep his anger within, but he's yelled at you a few times, almost desperate to finally get his point across to you.

♡ It is quite obvious to him why he has fallen for you, so he wastes no time in planning his confession. He knows his romantic gesture will have to be overt, the goal being that you truly comprehend understand his feelings for you. A thoughtful gift along with a handwritten letter, simply stating how he is deeply in love with you - and if any confusion remains, he'd be happy to explain. 

♡ And after that, he spends each day with you in bliss. As the moonlight illuminates the pages of his book, he softly reads the words to you; and as you fall asleep in his arms, he knows that this is what true happiness is. He may never be allowed in the Celestial Realm, but being with you makes him feel like he's already there.

-> If people question his relationship with you, they only do so in hushed tones - no one wants to be on the receiving end of his Wrath, especially after that one demon went missing after gawking at the two of you on a date.

☆ ASMODEUS:

-> Excited to adopt you into his inner circle - he knows someone like you would be the perfect little doll for him! He already thinks you're just oh so adorable, and it will be incredibly easy for him to turn you into his little Mini Asmo.

-> New style, new hair, new everything! Be prepared to truly become his twin, for he wants you to become his shadow. Doesn't even take him much effort to convince you to change your schedule to match his! 

-> Asmo is definitely the Queen Bee of RAD, but you're basically the Queen's Hand - he regards your thoughts and opinions highly, as if they are the royal decree. He may also lightly tease you at times, wanting nothing more than to see the many cute faces you make, but he would never stab you in the back. HBIC's have to look out for each other, after all! 

-> Your grades actually go up, shockingly enough, thanks to Asmo having his fan club do all of your schoolwork. You don't have time for that nonsense! 'Pamper and Pre-Game' with Asmo is way more important than writing some silly Devildom Law essay - you don't wanna be late to the Fall, after all!

-> The two of you pretty much run the school, constantly making waves and setting trends. You get your own fan club, but you also have a fair amount of haters! Either way, all eyes are on you, and every dumb little thing you do ends up going viral online. Some days you're being praised for your fashion, others you're being meme'd for your clumsiness. And of course, Asmo always helps you take advantage of these moments, good or bad. Never a dull day on the Devilnet!

-> He especially loves that your air-headedness leaves a lot of room for you to be open minded to experimentation (or maybe you're just easy to convince, hehe). It's lead to a lot of wild nights in his bedroom, with the two of you experiencing unfathomable euphoria - those nights will forever live rent free in his mind. Perhaps he can convince you to let Sol join the two of you next time...

-> On the other hand, he notices he has to keep an extra sharp eye on you when the two of you are out partying together - your obliviousness has almost led you to a few dangerous situations, one that ended up leaving Asmo's strawberry-blonde hair stained crimson. He is now hyper-vigilant over you, always guarding your drinks and cutting in on the dancefloor.

♡ How could the Avatar of Lust not fall you for? His best friend, his partner in crime, his darling human~♡! He comes to the realization that he loves you even more than himself, and that he must start making a plan! The date of all dates to sweep you off of your feet and right into his arms~♡ He knows he'll have to be clear and concise when he makes his confession - not only are you a bit dense, but his usual Avatar of Lust brand of affection may make it... confusing for you, to figure out that he truly loves you romantically. Whatever, who cares! He'll tell you a million times over if you need him to ♡!

♡ After that, not too much will change, for you were already inseparable before his confession! He may become a bit more possessive, but that comes with the territory of being Lust's Chosen One. The two of you are RAD's Power Couple, and he will make damn sure the entire Devildom knows it!

-> When it comes to your relationship, Asmodeus is ride or die. If anyone ever questions it, he brushes it off with his signature smile and a cold remark - at first. Like a scorpion, he strikes from the shadows. Pink may be his color, but he is also well aware how amazing he looks in red~♡ ;)

☆ BEELZEBUB:

-> Doesn't think too much about it at first - you're just that nice human with the pretty smile and the fun stash of human world snacks. 

-> The least judgmental of his brothers, while also being the first to get to know you deeply. He feels like you're really easy to understand, and he finds that it's really easy to open up to you. He becomes a lot more talkative when you're around, and soon the two of you have you own dumb little inside jokes that his brothers are jealous they aren't in on. You don't even get each other's jokes half the time (which is mostly your fault, no offense) but laughter truly is contagious, and you have so much fun in each other's company.

-> Once he really gets to know you, he worries about you endlessly! He feels the need to become even more protective over you than he already is. Not only does your clumsiness worry him, but your forgetfulness too. He knows for a fact that humans need to eat to survive! What do you mean you forgot to eat lunch?! How can you forget something like that...and before you know it, he's adding some of his Acidic Hell Fries to your plate.

-> So he starts inviting you to eat with him every single day, and he loves how easily you say yes! No matter the menu, no matter the restaurant, you're always down to go out with him and share a bite to eat - you don't even ask questions! And he really admires how adventurous you are - always ordering new dishes, never turning down a bite of some strange food when he offers it, the smile on your face when you actually do enjoy it. Sharing a simple meal with you quickly becomes the part of his day he looks forward to the most.

-> The two of you do get into your own share of trouble every now and then though. While Beel has been banned from the Devildom's various eating contests, you haven't been - and you never seem to learn how sick these contests make you, no matter how badly you wanna give the prize to Beel. And let's not forget all the times you've had to wash dishes at Hell's Kitchen because you both ran outta the House without making sure you had a single Grimm on you. Either way, the two of you have so much fun together, that you never regret it - or learn from it.

♡ He wears his heart on his sleeve, and while Beelzebub isn't dumb like you are, he does have a certain innocent honesty about him - so he has no problem telling you his true feelings about you. He may get the slightest bit frustrated after having to explain it so many times, but hand him a snack and he'll have all the patience in the world to sit with you and help you understand how much he truly loves you.

♡ And after that, you continue to spend your days with your sweet cinnamon roll of a boyfriend. Whether you're hanging with him at the gym or sneaking out for a late night snack, being with you always makes his heart feel so full - a feeling he would never trade, even for a thousand Shadow Goose Burgers. 

-> Doesn't even remotely pay attention to what others are saying about his relationship with you - why even bother worrying about that? Although there was that one time some random demon at RAD did question him about it, but Beel couldn't hear them over the rumble of his own stomach - which they hilariously mistook as a threat, causing them to run off in terror. 

☆ BELPHEGOR:

-> Your stupidity made his scheme in the attic all too easy! Truly like the wolf leading the lamb. He could have never dreamed that such a perfect target would just fall right into his lap, would stumble into the attic and right into his trap - it was almost comical. He could have also never dreamed that, once the veil of hate was lifted from his eyes, the amount of overwhelming guilt he would feel. Naïve, innocent little lamb. He'd do anything to make up for it - he's failed to protect you twice already, and he won't be making that mistake again.

-> Suddenly overprotective, as well as a bit possessive. He knows how easily you can be fooled into mortal danger, so you can expect him to lurk in the shadows. The circle of people he trusts (his brothers) is small, and he even occasionally has doubts about a few of them. 

-> Other than that, he is beyond amused by you, and he knows he's going to have a lot of mischievous fun with you by his side! The House of Lamentation was already chaotic with just the seven of them, but your arrival truly added a wild card to the mix. Your absentminded hijinks are usually funny enough for him to warrant losing a bit of sleep.

-> He pretty much makes you the mascot for the Anti-Lucifer League - any schemes he and the Fourth Born can think up, they rope you into. Typically used as bait, watching Lucifer freak out as you stand there looking clueless truly never gets old. No matter how many times they explain the pranks to you, you never really understand what's going on - which makes for a great defense when all three of you inevitably get lectured by the Eldest afterwards.

-> Loves how easy it is to convince you to skip class and nap with him - you're the only one he's shown all of his favorite hiding spots to. Partially because he knows you'll never remember where they are without his help, but also because he loves cuddling up with you. 

♡ He's actually tried several times to convey his feelings to you, with everything from romantic dreams to starlit dates. He's even kissed you, how much more obvious can he get?! If it were anyone but you, he probably would have given up and gone back to sleep. But you're you and you're worth it, so he stays up late conjuring up exactly what to say to you, hoping this time his bluntness makes it clear.

♡ And after that, the two of you spend the majority of your free time cuddled up in each other's loving embrace. It's nothing but sweet dreams and starry skies, so long as you have Belphie by your side.

-> Questioning his relationship with you (or badmouthing you in general) is probably one of the most egregious mistakes one could make. If the endless night terrors aren't enough to evoke instant regret, the Avatar of Sloth doesn't mind resorting to violence for you.

‘Imagine Mc in a fist fight with a random lower-level Demon, how do you think the brothers would react?’ ~ My Friend IRL

Characters: The Brothers Gender Neutral Reader [No pronouns mentioned] TW: Violence

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lucifer ~ He can feel the grey hairs growing and him getting more wrinkles. ~ He will put a stop to the fight very fast though. ~ He is impressed that you can hold up a fight with a demon even if you were losing, at least you didn’t die and got some punches in. ~ Expect a long lecture once you get back home. ~He will be proud that his human can fight a demon though.

Mammon ~ He is worried that you will get seriously injured and interfere after a bit. ~ He will be shocked if you were actually able to go and win a fight against a lower level demon. ~ Please tell him you are okay though, he is worried even if you won. ~ He will take care of any injuries that you have while saying his worried in his own tsundere way. ~ ‘Tch, The great Mammon has to patch you up. Ya could have called me to help ya.. I am your first!’ ~Let him help next time or he will be sad. Leviathan ~ He is in shock and impressed. He would be the one to record the fight, but since its you, he is ready to stop the fight or get someone else like Beel or Lucifer to stop it ~ He was happy to see you actually being able to beat up a lower-level demon ~ He leaves patching up to someone else, but he is happy to play games with you after ~ And talk for hours about how you are like a protagonist of one of his animes Satan ~ Very impressed, lets the fight go on as long as you aren’t getting injured, stops it when it starts to get too heated.  ~ Willing to join the fight if needed. ~ He is patching you up afterwards and makes sure you aren’t too hurt. ~ He will scold you a bit, but besides that he is talking about how impressive it was to see you take on a lower-level demon all on your own ~ He will beat up and torture the lower-level demon if they hurt you alot in the fight.

Asmodeus ~ He is shrieking, he can’t believe to see you in a fight with a demon. ~ He will help with patching up, but needs someone else to stop the fight ~ He will make sure you don’t go into a fight again, as he didn’t like seeing how injured you got ~ Though if you were on the losing side...maybe Asmo sent out a devilgram post about a demon hurting his beloved MC...

Beelzebub ~ Stops the fight pretty fast. He doesn’t want MC to get hurt. ~ He will help with patching up as well, though mainly bringing food for you both to share. ~ He will tell you how worried he was about you getting hurt. He will make sure to follow around you more to try and stop any future fist fights ~ Beel is not afraid to cause more fear into the lower-level demon if they hurt you alot.

Belphegor ~ He is doing 1 of 3 things. Napping, Watching the fight or joining you in the fight. ~ Someone else has to pull you and Belphie off of this poor lower-level demon. ~ Because Belphie ain’t stopping you. ~ Belphie helps Beel with patching you up, though he doesn’t do too much. ~ He will take a nap or cuddle after the fight with you.  ~ If you get injured badly...lets say you will find the demon on the news the next day... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

MC showing the brothers their favorite anime character and they are exactly like them! How do they feel? Do they bring it up? Or not say anything? (If you don’t want to do all 7, could you do Lucifer, Levi, Asmo, and Beel? :3)

This was so fun XD I had to write for all 7, simply because I wanted to. And I had a pretty good idea for all of them, so it wasn't too much at all to let the idea take me away ^~^

Ended up being pretty long, but I put it in headcanon format, even though a lot of bullets were several sentences. I tried.

“He’s so cool! He’s the oldest brother, and he has a lot of weight on his shoulders, and even though he’s sweet on the inside he acts really tough! And rightfully so, he is actually really tough.” You rambled to Lucifer about your favorite anime character. 

“So…he’s like…” Lucifer wanted to say “Like me” but that would mean admitting he was soft on the inside. He wouldn’t dare say that, especially since some of his brothers were home. “A responsible big brother.” 

As you went on and on about the character, he simply smiled softly and nodded to show he was listening

You were warming his heart, in a way that hadn’t been done for centuries…maybe even ever

He asked a couple questions, here and there, but he really did just love to hear you talk

“So what do you think about him?” You asked with beaming eyes

Lucifer hesitated a few moments while he gathered the words, “He seems like a smart man. Brave, and powerful.” 

“Yeah…he is.” Your words were quiet as you gazed into Lucifer’s eyes

You know…your character and Lucifer were pretty similar, huh?

Mammon:

“Mammon! Pleeeeeease let me tell you about this character!” You whined and followed him as he was practically running away from you

His face was red, because you’re puppy eyes were was too cute to look into for long

But after a few minutes he stopped and you bumped into him “Fine! Just make it quick, I’ve got a date with Goldie!” He waved the card in the air, and had a mischievous look in his eyes

“Okay so! He loves money, but he loves his family and the person he loves even more! He won’t say it, but he’s one of the kindest men in the world! He does kind of get caught up in himself, but he can be humble when the time comes!” You showed him the picture of the character as you spoke, and scrolled through a few

Huh…blond hair, somewhat tall, got a glimmer in his eyes…

“He seems okay. Kind of stupid though.” Mammon did not at all put the pieces together, and ended up unintentionally slamming himself

To anyone else, it was clear you were actually talking about Mammon, and you hoped he’d realize but he didn’t

It’s alright though! Next time you’ll make it absolutely obvious

Levi:

All you had to do to spend time with Levi was say “I wanna talk about anime characters!” Your secret password didn’t even matter, the door was swung open and there he was with a dorky grin on his face

He expected nerdiness, but not to have you describe your favorite anime character to be so much like HIM!

“He loves anime and manga, games too! He doesn’t talk to many people, but sometimes he talks a whole lot if he’s passionate about something! Especially to the few he does care about. He has a TON of special interests, and can be super creative!” 

With each passing word his face got just a bit redder. He had a small scowl on his face after a bit though. To hear you talk so much about someone else kind of bothered him, and he still wasn’t sure if you were even talking about him or not anymore!

“Me or him…” He muttered, but you could barely hear him so he repeated it once more

“Well you, of course!” You laughed and he tried to figure out if your laughter meant you were joking or not

“No seriously, no anime character compares to you. I thought…you’d find it cute if I even liked a character just like you.” With a smile, that made him officially melt

“Then…I’LL COSPLAY HIM! THAT’S IT!” He ran to his closet and started talking about the way to “win them over” was to combine the two

He’s such a silly demon, and you loved that about him

Satan:

He never openly complained about spending time with you, and you came up with a plan! So you went to his library to set the plan in motion…

“Saaaaatan! I have a character from one of my favorite anime I wanna show you!” You burst in, and he was reading as…was expected.

He closed his book after finishing the paragraph he was on, with a bookmark in place

“Oh? Another character, go ahead, tell me about them” He would always make time for you, and seeing you so excited was just adorable

“He can get angry a lot, but it’s usually only because he cares! He’s really creative, and gets lost in his books all the time. It’s kind of like an escape for him, and learning has always been a passion for him!” 

It made Satan smirk, as he said “If you liked me you could have just said so.” He walked towards you and his smirk turned into a smile

“No need to beat around the bush, you know why?” He was close to you now, and for a second you thought he was leaning in for a kiss, but he leaned so his hot break brushed against your ear

“Because I like you too. My favorite little human…” 

Asmo:

When you walked in, super excited to see him he finished his makeup quickly and ran up to hug you

It made you blush, but you had a plan! 

“Asmo! Look at this character! He’s my favorite! He always wears pink, loves to dress up and look all around both handsome and beautiful! He can be a bit of a flirt, but nothing like how he is with the person he loves!”

The more you spoke the more he smiled, “You have excellent taste! I can see why I’m your favorite demon!” He spun you around for a second and kissed your cheeks forehead and nose

You were blushing more than before, “Okay, okay!” You laughed and “tried” to push him away, “Don’t let it get to your head!” His kisses didn’t cease for several minutes and he ended up setting you down in his makeup chair

“We should have matching makeup! It’ll show how cute we are together!” He kissed your red cheeks and smiled wide

“T-together? Really?” It was hard to contain your excitement, and he ended up laughing at just how cute you are

“Of course! I’m your favorite, it means you looooove me~! If you think after rambling about how much you like a character because he’s like me we wouldn’t get together you’d be wrong~!” He giggled and started working on your makeup, but it was hard since you kept giggling

“I don’t know about LOVE, but we can get there. Just don’t mess it up!” You joked, letting out a few giggles as you winked at him

Beel:

“Beel! Look at my favorite anime character!” You ran up to him as he worked out, which was funny timing, “He loves to work out, can eat more than anyone else, and can be really funny but also adorable! He loves his family a lot, and ends up sacrificing so much to make them happy!” 

He stopped the second you were in the room and walked up to you to look at the picture

“He’s like me…” He tilted his head and saw a ton of similarities in the characters personality and looks to him

“Y-Yeah! Isn’t he cool?” He wasn’t putting the pieces together yet, but you knew he’d get there with time

“Wanna help me with my workout?” He smiled and it made you smile too

You had a big soft spot for the tall demon, if he asked you to do anything in the world you probably would, and he’s showed on multiple occasions that he’d do the same for you

You sat on his back while he did push ups for a while, but then he fell

“B-Beel? Are you okay?” You were concerned and he spun around while lifting you while you laid on his chest, faces super close together

“Does that mean…I’m your favorite character? Uh…demon? …Person?” He was fumbling and it was really cute, honestly

A couple giggles escaped and you kissed the tip of his nose, “Yeah…you are.” 

With a hug as tight but gentle as he gave, it gave you all the answer you needed. He liked you just as much if not more, as shown by the deepening blush on his face

Belphie:

“Belphie look!” You showed him a picture of a character sleeping, “He’s my favorite! He sleeps a lot, and can be a hopeless flirt but it’s sooooo cute! He cares a lot, but has a secret dark side which can be really cool but also scary if it’s directed at you!” 

He was hanging out in his star-gazing room, and looked like he’d fall asleep at any minute

He grinned and grabbed you, pulling you down to his level while he laid on the floor and hugged you close

You blushed a bit, but it wouldn’t be the first time you cuddled with Belphie, since both of you did really like to cuddle. Especially with each other…

“Go on, tell me more.” You were facing each other, one hand holding yours as the other wrapped around your shoulders to your back

You rambled for a bit, but had a hard time making eye contact with him

“No. No more.” You told him, and because you were flustered, you leaned forward and hid your face in his neck

“Awww please? I want to fall asleep hearing all the things you love about me, that you’re projecting onto that character.” So he DID know. Maybe you were being too obvious…

After several moments, he continued with a “Fine, maybe we’ll do the opposite. I’ll tell you all the things I love about you until you fall asleep.” He rubbed your back and chuckled to himself before he did exactly that, saying each and every thing about you he loved, which was more than you thought possible

Falling asleep like this…really isn’t so bad at all

You lean closer, both to admire the water bottle and to fluster the demon beside you. It works like a charm, and Leviathan is thrust from the comfort zone of his rambling and into the boss battle of you.

“I, uh...managed to win two of those stickers, actually.” he stumbled over his words, shyly avoiding your gaze, “If you want it. Idc really. I know you probably wouldn’t want something from me anyways but—”

“Leeeeevi?” you lean even closer, a disappointed look on your face, “What did we say about that talk?”

He hesitates.

“That it’s bad...and I shouldn’t say those things because I’m worthy of love and worthy of you.” he mumbles under his breath.

It sounds a bit too much like he’s reading off a script for your liking, but you know one day he’ll get there. You believe in him.

But when a snippet of dialogue reached your ears from behind the slightly open door, you couldn't contain your curiosity and stopped.

— ROFLMAO, dude, it's not that serious. I mean, like, lol, I think about them more often than about Ruri-chan and my heart beats DISGUUUUUUSTINGLY fast, but, lol, bro.

— Yes, yes, I understand! Shut up, please, you fucking otaku. — You heard irritated notes in Asmo head and could have sworn that right now he rolled his eyes. — I realized that you're just a fucking tsundere and I'm very happy for you and your feelings, but what do you need FROM ME?

The room suddenly becomes quiet, after which the surprised cry of the Avatar of Lust is heard.

— Is it possible that you want to... SEDUCE THEM? I can literally feel the waves of lust coming from you!!!~

The next moment Levi ran out of Asmodeus' room, coming face to face with you. His cheeks turned a deep red and he cried out.

— MC? W-what are you doing here?! Did you hear everything?

— What? What are you talking? — You innocently blinked, for some reason deciding to lie. — I was just passing by and was going to invite Asmo to dinner.

— Really? — He exhaled. — It's relief. THAT IS, NOT THAT I HAVE ANYTHING TO HIDE AT ALL, BUT.

— I understand. So are we doing?

After dinner, you were sitting together in Levi's room when he turned on a series of new anime.

Recently overheard conversation did not come out of your thoughts. «Is it possible that he was talking about me? Then Levi is in love with me? It's so presumptuous, but...». You stole a glance at the demon, who was completely focused on the screen. Cheeks slightly reddened at the thought that he could share your feelings and you mentally thanked the Avatar of Envy for not looking at you now.

On the other hand heart tingled unpleasantly from the realization that he could well be talking about someone from the Internet or about some kind of idol.

— It's just incredible, MC! The plot captures from the first minutes, you like it, right?

— Mm? What? Oh, yeah. I... like it, — there's no need to specify what you're talking about.

Suddenly, your head falls gently on Levi's shoulder. You feel him flinch at the unexpected touch, and you are sure that now the demon's cheeks are absolutely red, but he no longer screams and pulls away as before.

Out of the corner of your eye, you notice how he awkwardly licks his lips and clenches his palms into a fist. It's so cute that you almost want to tease him and do something more awkward, but you're afraid that your date (Levi, of course, denies that this is a date) will end in something like a faint.

— Oh, it seems that the best part of this series is about to begin, isn't it? — This is an absolute lie. You're not a bit interested in what's happening on the screen right now and all your attention is focused on the demon in front of you.

— Did you watch without me?! In any case, it's still early for epic moments, but yes, it's not bad.

— Yes, it seems interesting.

The Avatar of Envy smells like a sea breeze and you bite your lips. Does Levi think about you the same way you think about him? Is it possible to check at least a little bit?

You suddenly nuzzle into his neck and exhale gently. You feel the demon straining next to you, but you are glad that he has not distanced himself.

— W-what are you doing, MC?! — The tone of his voice rises noticeably and it seems a little funny to you. You giggle and your breath tickles his skin.

— Sorry-sorry. Can you pause it? I just want sit this way for a little bit more.

He doesn't answer, but pauses the anime and you close your eyes. Something timidly touches your hand and you realize that it is Levi's hand. His fingers intertwine with yours and you squeeze his palm slightly so that he does not let go.

You sit like this for several minutes and no one dares to interrupt the silence that has come.

— Uhm... Levi? — You whisper his name softly and try not to pay attention to how he shrinks. — Can I say something?

— Of course... — You can hardly hear him.

A few more minutes of silence. You slowly lower Levi's arm and gently hug him.

— I love you. I love you. I love you. — You say it quickly and quietly before he understands the meaning of your words and actions.

— Ooh? WOW, MC?! Why are you saying this so suddenly?!?! — He tries to pull away, but you hug him a little tighter and he gives up.

— I'm sorry. I heard a little of what you were talking about with Asmo. To be honest, I'd like you to talk to him about me. I want to believe that you like me too. I don't want to give you to someone else.

Your voice is shaking. You imagined that you would say it more calmly, but now you clearly feel how scared you are. Your heart seems to freeze and you already regret what you said. It takes about a minute, but you don't get an answer. You're scared, so scared. You stop hugging and purse your lips. You look into Levi's face and see the shock frozen in his eyes. «Why did I say that? Why did I say that? Why am I... stupid stupid stupid».

— I'm sorry, I was probably too presumptuous when I thought you were talking about me. I'm sorry, should I leave?

You get up and turn your back to him, but before you take another step, Levi jumps up and suddenly puts his arm around your waist.

— Arghh, you!! You damn it normie!! — You can't see the face, but for some reason you are absolutely sure that he blushed. — It's me... I lo... Me too.. I feel the same way! If this isn't a joke, then I don't understand how you can love someone as pathetic and as vile as me. I've been talking to Asmodeus about you and I still don't understand. I don't think I deserve to hear such words from you if you're not joking. I just... Me too.... Damn!

You turn to face Levi and give him a quick kiss on the cheek to shut him up. It seems to work, because his already red face looks like a tomato, and you smile.

— AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, WHAT THE HELL?

He screams, takes a couple of steps back, stumbles and falls. There is no trace of your old fear and you giggle. The devil himself is tempting you to tease Leviathan a little more.

— Oh, I think I just remembered what Asmo said about "waves of lust"? What was he talking about?~

• Seeing the king of the gods listening to you rant about failing the big Devildom law exam made the third born change his mind real fast.

COZY COMFORTS EVENT

GN!MC x Leviathan with prompt illuminate

Warnings: none!

Leviathan slowly blinks his eyes open. It's dark in his room, and he can't remember when he ended up in his tub. Hadn't he been playing video games with you? Were you still there or had you left him asleep and returned to your own room? These thoughts swirl in his groggy mind as he tries to pull himself out of the heaviness of sleep.

Eventually, he's able to roll over enough to peek above the edge of his tub. He sucks in a breath.

You're still there.

Not far away from where he is, you're curled up with one of his pillows and an Azuki-tan plushie. A video game controller is on the floor in front of you. The TV is still on, displaying the game you were playing on pause. The screen has dimmed, which happens when you're inactive for too long. The light is just barely enough to illuminate your outline.

Levi takes in the way the blue light from the TV traces your cheek as your body moves up and down with your breathing. Azuki-tan is in your arms, but loosely. Just enough for you to hold on, but not enough to crush the plushie. Your head is on one of the pillows from his tub, just barely obscuring the face of Ruri-chan on the pillowcase.

You're missing a blanket. You look cold. And likely the floor is a hard place for you to be sleeping. You'll wake up with an aching body if you stay there all night.

Levi watches you and considers his options. He begins to blush profusely at the idea of picking you up and even more at the thought of putting you in his tub. He has to hold in his noise of complaint when he thinks about joining you there. It's too much! His poor heart!

For a moment, Leviathan waits. He has to gather himself for this. He's nervous and he doesn't want to wake you, but his concern about your well being outweighs his fears.

Carefully, Levi gets out of the tub. He saves the game and turns off the console. The room grows even darker as the TV goes black. There's just enough light from the gentle glow of the aquarium for him to see you by.

He takes a deep breath and lifts you from the floor, cradling you in his arms. If you were awake, you would likely protest. You might even say something about being too heavy, which would have made him laugh. Even the heaviest of humans are no match for demon strength. But that means he has to be extra careful because you are so delicate.

He carries you to the tub and hesitates. He could put you in and sleep on the floor himself. It would probably be better for his anxiety if he did that. But he can also almost hear you asking him why he didn't sleep with you in the tub. And if he's being honest, he wants to do exactly that.

Levi lowers himself into the tub first, taking you with him. He's blushing like crazy as you naturally settle on top of him, your body between his legs, your head on his chest. Your warmth is comforting as he pulls the blankets over you. Azuki-tan is still snuggled in your arms.

For a moment, Levi regards you there, barely visible in the dim light of his room. Then he closes his eyes, letting his heartbeat sync with yours, letting that rhythm lull him back into slumber.

Typically, the liveliness of the House of Lamentation didn't bother you, in fact you enjoyed it. Mammon had slept over in your room the night prior, and he had set a new alarm tone on his DDD to be sure the two of you awoke on time - it was really more for him, seeing as he had Saturday morning breakfast duty, but you promised you'd wake up with him anyway. You didn't know exactly how jarring it would be to wake up to, but it definitely put you in a panic as it ripped you from your deeply peaceful slumber. And the way Mammon was tightly gripping you in his sleepy cuddle made it hard for you to grab his phone and turn it the hell off - the day definitely wasn't starting off well. 

Perhaps it was breakfast that was the catalyst of it all. Before you can even step into the dining hall, you can hear most of the brothers already talking inside. As you pushed the door open, your senses were flooded with a barrage of sight, sound and scent. The lighting was unusually brighter as Asmodeus painted his nails at the table, his perfume being the first to hit your nose as you made your way to your seat, and a faint headache started to pulse behind your eyes.

"Good morning, hon~♡," he said, in his typical Asmo singsong voice, "This brand new polish just arrived for me this morning so you know I just had to apply it before I got my day started!"

The pungent scent of Devildom food being prepared wafted out from the kitchen, mixing with the scent of Asmo's beauty products, and you mentally hoped to yourself that the weird combination of scents didn't cause you to lose your appetite. You heard a few crashing noises ring out from the kitchen, followed by the swears of the Second Born and promises of punishment from the First. You shook your head, a small smile on your lips before you looked over to see a pouting Beelzebub next to you. Knowing he was disappointed at the tardiness of this morning's breakfast, you rubbed his arm gently and reassured him that the wait will be over soon.

The final straw definitely came sometime after breakfast. You were sitting in the common room with Beel, watching BBQ Life on the television as you both munched away on some kettle corn. Leviathan was sat across one of the chairs, his legs dangled over one of the sides as he played his current favorite new game on his handheld console, sound turned down to almost a minimum. The three of you were having a relaxing time, when all of the sudden, you heard a faint yelling coming from the front porch before the extremely loud slamming of the entrance door, open then shut. You jumped at the loud bang of the slamming door, and turned your eyes to the hallway to see Satan and Belphegor in a screaming match. You couldn't even really gleam what the two were arguing over, you just knew you were starting to feel overwhelmed by it all. 

The chattering from the television, the stickiness of your hands from the popcorn, the brothers' screaming, the scuffing of their shoes on the floor as they wrestle with each other, the soft noises from Levi's game, your headache now suddenly pounding at full force and the anxiety creeping in with it all...it was just too much.

Just as Beelzebub got up to jump between his twin and his older brother, you also jumped up and decided to make a break for it. You needed to get away and go chill somewhere that you could clear your head. Normally you'd also step in and try to diffuse the situation, but the overstimulation was making it hard to process your own thoughts, much less anything else that was going on in the House. You quickly made your way up the stairs, knowing you couldn't possibly go hide out in your own room. You knew that if you hid there, more than one of your demons would follow you and crowd you until you told them what's wrong - not that you wanted to push them away, necessarily, but you just couldn't explain it at that moment. Your mind felt like lightning was striking your brain, while simultaneously, hurricane force winds blew your thoughts around in a flooded vortex. You needed to go somewhere that you could calm the storm in your mind in peace.

There were three rooms in the House of Lamentation you knew you could find uninterrupted solace, for if any demon enter without permission, there would be literal hell to pay. You couldn't go to Satan's room right now, for he was most likely still in the middle of his rage, which you didn't have the capacity to deal with at that moment. You could go to Lucifer's room, but then he'd interrogate you as to why you had decided to let yourself into his room and curl up in his bed. That only really left you with one option - the one demon you knew without a doubt would understand.

You made your way to his door and grabbed the knob, silently praying to yourself that it was unlocked - and to your luck, it actually was. As you pulled the door open, a soft blue light spilled into the hallway, and you made quick work walking inside and closing the door behind you. The soft glow and ambient hum of both the aquarium and the computer were already starting to feel comforting to you. You kicked your shoes off and crossed the room, crawling into his tub and under the covers. As you pulled the fuzzy blanket over your body, you spotted Leviathan's Azuki-tan plushie, pulling it tightly against your chest as you closed your eyes. Maybe if you could just rest and recharge a little, you'll start to feel a bit better. 

Leviathan is sitting downstairs on one of the common room chairs, questing away in his new game, Grand Theft Demonio VI. He needs to beat part one of the solo campaign before he can unlock the online multiplayer features - one of the many anti-cheat techniques in use by the developers, but he is enjoying the campaign all the same. He had decided to come downstairs to play in the common room so he can be closer to you as you watch TV with his little brother. He's deep inside his quest, doing everything he can to win the virtual street race against NPCs, when he hears the slamming of doors and it's subsequent screaming match. He jumps slightly at the noise, but is too focused to look up at from his game, seeing as he can clearly recognize the voices of his Fourth and Seventh brothers fighting over a prank gone wrong. 

Out of the corner of his eye, he sees you make your light sprint out of the room, which forces him to finally look up. A frown befalls his face as he sees you make your exit, and when he looks back down at his game to see that he has lost, his fuse snaps. He taps the button on his handheld to dim and lock the screen, sliding it into his jacket pocket and stomping over to his brothers. All three of his younger brothers take pause as Leviathan verbally tears into them, assigning blame to them for not only losing his game, but scaring you off in the process. Satan can feel Leviathan's wrath building, and he decides to back off, if only to save the House from being flooded and Lotan summoned onto them all. Beel just picks up Belphie and walks off with him under his arm, eventually leaving Leviathan on his own to go find you. 

Naturally, he just assumes you went to your own room - after all, why wouldn't you? He knows better than anyone how much your own room can become an oasis of safety, a place you can just barricade yourself into and unmask. He makes quick work of walking to your room, eager to check on you and make sure that you're okay. You never really shared any diagnoses with him, per say, but he could just tell that you two were very similar in the way that your minds work - and while he's used to several millennia of sharing a roof with his rowdy brothers, he knew it would be a bit different for a human such as yourself. He approaches your door and lightly knocks twice, gently whispering your name before putting his ear to the door. He doesn't hear a single sound coming from your room, which causes him to raise an eyebrow. Surely, you'd at least be watching a comfort anime or something?

"A-are you in there? It's m-me, your Lord of Shadows. I came by to check on you," he says nervously, slowly opening the door to see that you aren't actually inside. He steps in, looking around for you, growing more and more frustrated every moment he doesn't see you. He checks your bathroom, your closet, even under your bed - where the hell could you be? You're probably with one of his brothers again, aren't you?! He stomps out of your room, slamming the door behind him, as he fumes to himself silently. Of course you'd be seeking comfort from one of his brothers, and he's sure he can guess which one of them you may have run to - most likely one of his older brothers' rooms. He figures you'd either go to Lucifer, because he knows how to fix anything - or Mammon, simply because the two of you are so damn close. He can't stand either thought. The Eldest's perfection has caused him a great deal of lamentation over the years, but when he thinks of you running to him for comfort, it stings all the worse. And the fact that you're so close with Mammon? Really?! Mammon?!?! The stupid scummy Avatar of Greed, SERIOUSLY?! WHAT DO YOU EVEN SEE IN HIM?!?! KILXRFJ;-

Filled with envy and demon form on full display, Leviathan storms through the hall and up the stairs. A tidal wave of emotions flash flooding his own mind, he's unable to process his thoughts or feelings, and he just knows he needs to retreat to the safety of his little otaku island. Almost racing to his room, Leviathan quickly finds himself at his own bedroom door. His tail wraps around the knob and twists it open, pulling the door open and then shut again after stepping inside. He lets out a long exhale, his eyes fluttering shut as he takes in the ambient noise of his room - his safe space. His orange eyes finally open, the purple in them slowly seeping back in as the envy slowly recedes from his mind. He takes a few steps towards his bathtub, pulling his handheld out of his pocket as he does so, before freezing in place as he notices movement inside. His eyes widen and his free hand floats up to hide his face when he sees the top of your head peaking out from beneath the pile of fluffy Ruri-chan blankets. His mind goes blank, for he honestly has no idea how to proceed. 

"Leviathan?" your whispered voice calls out to him gently as you pull the covers from your face. You rub your eyes before looking up at him, a small smile pulling at your lips when you see him. "Nap," is all you ask as you scoot over in the bottom of the tub, patting the space next to you as you invite him into his own bed with you. You'd apologize for intruding into his space later, but you know that right now you both need a good cuddle and a nap together - especially if the way he tore through the door a few minutes ago tells you anything about his mood. He hesitates for a moment, his brain still rebooting to process the sight before him, and next thing he knows you're full on assaulting him with your puppy dog eyes.

As you silently plead with him, you reach up towards him, inviting him into your arms as you make a grabby hand gesture. Before he starts to spiral with doubt, he decides to just go for it - you're his Henry, after all. He slides off his shoes and steps into the tub, lowering himself down beside you as you lightly giggle and scoot over just a little more so he can get comfortable. As soon as his head hits the pillow, you rest your head on his chest, your arm draping itself over his torso as your legs tangle with his. A rosy blush dusts his cheeks as he hears you sigh happily, and he can't help but to smile a little himself. His tail snakes its way around your waist as he wraps his arms around you, holding you close as the two of you eventually drift off to sleep.

After a very adventurous dream involving the two of you slaying a dragon, Leviathan finally drifts out of his slumber and into wakefulness. As his mostly purple eyes flutter open, still adjusting to the dim light of the room, he focuses to see you still comfortably asleep in his arms. As he gazes down at you, he thinks about earlier, and how he so quickly assumed you'd seek the comfort of another demon. A tinge of guilt enters the back of his mind, feeling bad about having doubted you so easily - you're his Henry! His player two! He internally curses himself, telling himself he should have a little more faith in his best friend in all three realms, or else you may grow tired of his antics like everyone else. One of his biggest fears is that one day you might think he's just too much, and he'll lose you forever. . .

Before his thoughts could become too turbulent, he feels you stirring within his grasp. The way you gently squeeze him, and press a loving little nuzzle into the crook of his neck, is enough to push back the fear and insecurity - at least for now. You crane your neck upwards, pressing a kiss into the bottom of his jaw, before your eyes flutter open to look up at the gorgeous sea demon beneath you. A small blush paints itself across Leviathan's cheeks as he looks down at you, his admiration for you sparkling in his orange and purple gradient eyes. 

"Heeeey...y-you're awake," he says nervously, his hand moving to hide his blush as the other stays rested on your back. You can't help but to let out a small giggle. 

"As are you, my sweet otaku. Hope your nap was as good as mine was," you murmur softly, reaching up to move his hand away from his face and cup his cheek with your own hand. You push yourself up a little on your other arm, stretching a bit to be able to kiss him. You finally press your lips to his, and Leviathan could have sworn he can see animated hearts and fireworks flashing around the room as he finally felt the warmth of your kiss. He hesitates for a moment, his brain caught in a slight lag, which causes you to internally panic for a moment as well - until you can finally feel him relax beneath you and kiss you back. He pulls you up closer, his arms wrapped around you in a loving hug, his tail still securely wrapped around your waist. You playfully nibble his bottom lip, smiling into the kiss as you attempt to deepen it, when all of the sudden - a loud banging at the door.

The suddenly loud bang made you jump a little, your heart skipping a beat as you unintentionally break the kiss. The banging continues, and you shrink down into the tub, burrowing your face into Leviathan's chest and pulling the blanket back over your head. You weren't quite ready to go back out and deal with all the chaos of the House of Lamentation - you just wanna stay here and relax with him.

"Yo, Levi! I know ya got my human in there! Open the hell up!" You know that voice anywhere - Mammon has probably been blowing up your phone asking for you. You love your greedy first man but, he's a ball of energy that you'd rather hang out with later when you're recharged yourself. Your headache is now gone, but you're still a bit tired and a little anxious from earlier. Just as you peak your head out from under the blanket to whisper something to Levi, you hear more banging at the door, followed by a loud scoff from the Avatar of Envy.

"Who does he think he is, banging on my door like he owns the place and demanding I give you to him," he said, his tone sharp as the envy flares up in his eyes, his eyebrows scrunching together in anger. 

"Hey," you murmur softly to him, "you can go tell him I'm fine, I'll see him later. But you don't have to worry, Levi. I'm staying here with you." You reach up to press another little kiss onto the bottom of his jaw, before looking at him to see a satisfied smirk spread across his face. He would absolutely take this opportunity to go tell off his scummy older brother - especially taking pride in the fact that you want to ignore all of his brothers and stay here with him.

"I'll be right back," he confidently says before pressing a kiss to the top of your head. He lets go of you as you move off of him - you sit up at the opposite end of the tub as he stands up and climbs out, making his way to the bedroom door with a purpose. You had made your wishes clear to him, and he is beyond willing to be the one to enforce them for you. He rips the door open just before Mammon could slam his fist into it one last time, and you look away just as Mammon calls your name. Leviathan pushes Mammon backward into the hall as he steps through the door, mindful enough to gently click the door shut. 

You wrap the blanket around your body and up over your shoulders as you listen and wait for the commotion in the hallway to be over. You can hear some faint shouting at first, but then it dies down to an undistinguishable murmur, so you just lean back against the tub and turn your attention to the aquarium. You always love the glow of the LED lights in Levi's tank - and you could watch lil Henry 2.0 swim around for hours. The new little plants Levi put in the tank are really pretty, love the way they look in the water. A little aquarium would look really cool in your room! Maybe you should also get a few new plants for your room too, give the tree in there a few siblings. You start to wonder about the tree, was the house built around it, or was a tree transplanted there? Does is like living in your room? You should definitely get those plants, make the tree happy! Does the tree have a name...?

The door opens and closes once again, snapping you out of your streaming thoughts and your attention back to the door. You have no idea how long he was out there, but Leviathan is now back with a smug smirk on his face, making his way to his desk to take the phone off the charger. He unlocks his DDD and taps away, typing a message in the House group chat saying that 'the human is fine and recovering with me, DND ⛔,' before tossing his phone back down into his gaming chair.

"Thank you, Leviathan...for everything," you say softly. "I just got..so...um, overwhelmed. And you're the only one who understands me like that...plus I love spending time with you..." The two of you struggle to look at each other as blush spreads across both of your faces. 

"N-no need to thank me," he says, hiding his face behind both of his hands. "You're always welcome here, a-and I'll always have your back!" 

The two of you settle back in together, cozy in his arms as you lean back against his chest while the two of you watch a cute new anime. He asked if you wanted to pick one from his watchlist, but you couldn't make up your mind on one, so he ended up streaming 'Help! I Have a Crush on My BFF from Another Realm!' 

After watching for a while, the two of you get to chatting - mostly starting with analysis of the anime, and eventually drifting into the events of the day. You explained to the best of your abilities what happened and how it felt, to which Leviathan reassures you that he heavily relates, and that you can always come to him for anything - especially when you're feeling overwhelmed. You assure him the same, reminding him that Henry always has their Lord of Shadows' back. 

The two of you share another tender little kiss before turning your attention back to the anime on screen, the next episode starting to auto-play. As he holds you in his arms, the theme song softly playing on the TV, Leviathan can't help but to think how happy he is to have a relationship with such a deep sense of understanding between the two of you - you really are his Henry.
