Day 1: Hearth

What place is warmest than that of a big brother

So writing is really really hard and my friend adviced me to just give you guys my ideas instead of writing a big fic for it and Im gonna do that!

And gonna at the little bit of writing I did at the end!

Royal Au Narilamb's first intimate night together

-The kisses to give Lambert the crowns power brings them intimately closer as rime goes by, Lambert tries to initiate it more, make it last longer and Narinder never turns them down or pushes them away.

-Lambert is clearly in love but denies it

-Because of pent of emotions the intimate kissings buil up, Narinder goes to a brothel to wind down instead of risking it with Lambert. He thinks that it's unfair of him to put them in this whole situation in the first place.

-Lambert sees Narinder getting into the brothel and gets extremely jealous and angry about it

-Days pass, Lambert goes back to the land that was given to them to govern and ignores Kings letters

-Narinder visits Lambert in an angry fit, demands the reason why they would ignore a kings letter and threatens that he could send them to jail for it

-They get angry again but they don't have any crown power left in them because they used it too much after seeing Narinder in the brothel so they feel weak

-Narinder kisses them and gives them power only a little bit to keep them up and expects them to explain their situation after feeling better

-He stays in their place? Mansion? -Lambert is not rich idk what to call it, a big place where they govern their land- and later Lambert visits Narinder at night to finally confront him about it

-Lambert confesses that they were jealous and asks him why he would go to a brothel when they were right in front of him. Cornering him on the couch he was sitting in. He says "I thought you didn't enjoy our...times...together. Since you even said it scared you of what would happen if we didn't do it."

So Lambert screams with their face completely red. "Argh are you really going to make me say it?! I'm jealous ok?! You go and sleep with others and I... Do you know how hard it is to keep myself in check while kissing yo-"

-Narinder accepts the invitation. Lambert realises how much Narinder has been holding back as he hungrily kisses them, the two stumble to the guest bed and he rips apart Lambert's top.

-But just before they can fully get into it, the two half naked, someone knocks on the door and tells that Heket is on the move and their plan to take her down needs to start

-Narinder hesitates but after hearing Heket's name, he leaves Lambert

-Plot with heket happens and she dies but Lambert is injured

-Narinder does his best to heal them after they are brought back to his castle, to his room, they share an intimate moment where Narinder traces Lambert's fresh and old scars while healing them and in that intimate, alone moment Lambert asks if they are allowed to continue from where they left off

-and boom. They share a soft, passionate and gentle night together.

SO YEA. Writing all of this would kill me so you guys have to wait for it to be turned into the comic!

Here is what I have written so far. I dont think I will continue but yea! Have at thee!

A kiss. It was supposed to be simple.

Lambert just needed to kiss Narinder somewhat often so that the crowns powers inside them wouldn't turn them into a crazy blood thirsty maniac.

When such a thing was on the line, Lambert thought it would be easy. A simple kiss with a King they were active betraying, actively giving out information to his oldest sibling about what he was doing.

To be fair, Narinder was attractive... extremely. To Lambert, at the very least.

And yes their heart fluttered everytime they saw him, everytime he touched them, everytime they stared into his eyes.

Everytime they kissed him. But it didn't mean anything.

The kisses started out simple enough even though it was hard for them to initiate it first because Narinder refused to "force himself" on them due to the nature of their positions. It almost felt like he felt bad about putting them in this situation.

It didn't seem like that when he was constantly sending them out to deadly missions though...

But still, kissing on the lips, although it was to transfer power solely, was an intimate gesture. No body could fault Lambert for accidentaly prolonging it for just a few more second, just a few more pecks.

Aside from the kiss, the power also tasted sweet so it was impossible for them to not seek it out. It wasn't their fault! And it certainly wasn't because they had feelings for him. No way! It was the nature of the kiss, doing something like that with any random person would make you act like this if you did it too much! Lambert was sure.

And it's not like he couldn't stop them either. He could push them away like how he did at the start when he thought they had enough. But as time passed, he stopped doing it. Maybe he didn't care anymore or maybe...

What confused Lambert the most was the anger they were feeling that day. When they saw him walk into a brothel.

They thought,

"Maybe he is here to gather information. Yea, that must be it. Brothels are full of pent up people willing to spill out all of their problems after all."

So they hid and waited outside.

It...took some time...

But when he walked into the balcony, half naked, hair messy with a smoke in his hand, it felt like a punch to the gut. Stronger than any punch they had ever felt.

It was the second time in Lambert's life that they felt this kind of anger. So hot their thoughts melted together. So hard their teeth must have hurt from the pressure.

But this time they knew not to stay and let their anger do something they could never take back again.

So they left.

Walked into a forest and screamed their lungs out.

And they cried.

They were confused. Why were they feeling like this?

They needed to get these feelings out. OUT.

They let excessive amounts of the power they were given out in a burst. It looked like a curse Narinder had shown them once. Crushing force that broke everything around them.

The leaves and dirt of the forest were tossed around in chaos as the rocks and trees were torn to shreads.

Their mind started to clear up when their breathing sounded less like a dying animal.

His lovely unpleasant voice rang in their ear 'You need to learn how to control your anger.'

They broke the rock in front of them into pieces.

When they came back to their King given land, it was Ruri who greeted them.

"L-lambert! What happened to you?!" Was the only thing they listened to. They didn't answer and just let her tend to their wounds.

It had been days since their discovery of Narinder's... whatever it was and their outburst to it.

They decided that tending to their people and their needs was a better use of their time instead of constantly feeling a mixure of intense feelings. They had land they controlled now and people to take care of. Something they weren't really good at.

Thankfully Ratau was here to help them.

"This isn't how you should respond to this request Lambert." Ratau sighed for the fifth time that day and handed back the letter to Lambert.

Lambert grunted.

Ok maybe working wasn't the best idea to get rid of their already existing negative feelings.

In my head, these four are brothers. Allow me to explain…

Tom:

Tom is the oldest of the bunch—the responsible one. An honest, well-mannered fellow, he’s spent his whole life having to look out for others, so he’s gotten pretty used to being the guy who speaks up and calls the shots. It doesn’t matter where he is, or who he’s with, he moves through life with a presentational sense of confidence and behaves as though he’s the top dog—in charge of everyone—which is something that stems from some deep-seeded childhood trauma. As far back as he can remember, he’s been second in command to his parents’ authority… the one that would handle his brothers’ petty disputes and emotional outbursts when his parents weren’t in the immediate vicinity. If something went wrong, he had to handle it… and when he couldn’t get things in order, he was the one who took the fall. Everything was his fault… and everything was his problem to fix. Each of his brothers’ actions were considered his actions, and every single one of his actions were seen an example… a precedent for his younger siblings. Somehow, the shame and paranoia that used to haunt him transformed into an unhealthy form of pride. These days, that natural tendency to overpower every other voice in a room tends to bite him in the butt… but it’s not totally a bad thing. With endless experience in being a mediator, Tom has grown to be an incredible problem solver and people-person, who values rationality and above all else, and possesses exceptional emotional intelligence. What’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong. There is no gray area or leeway… only reasonable explanations, that sway toward either side. These days, he’s still parenting his brothers in many ways—keeping them from making bad decisions, lending them money whenever they need it, and breaking up their petty fights. That’ll never change. He’s a successful author—who’s written several bestselling motivational, business, and self-help books in his career—the co-owner of a small chain of coffee shops on the west coast, and he’s invested in several local businesses all over the state. Living by himself, in a big house by the beach, just a few hours away from his childhood home and immediate family, he’s pretty comfortable. He’s got no spouse to compromise with, no children to chastise, and nobody around to put any kind of pressure on him, and him feel like he’s doing something wrong. It’s just perfect.

Jordan:

Jordan is the second oldest—the bad boy. Growing up with Tom as his big brother, micromanaging his every move, and constantly filling his head with arbitrary concepts of right and wrong, Jordan has always enjoyed the thrill of breaking rules. Even as an adult, he hates having to answer to anyone, and will go out of his way to defy the wishes of any authority figures that he encounters. He’s not dangerous, by any means, but more of a petty pest—the kind of guy who pokes the bear for fun, until it mauls him to death. He doesn’t go overboard with the things that he does to spite people, or purposefully put anyone in danger… but he’s still an asshole. An asshole who, deep down, has a good heart… though he tries his best not to show it. Jordan flunked out of college because he stopped going to class, after spending an entire semester causing disruptions in lecture halls and cheating on assignments. He got kicked out of his parents’ house because he kept rigging all of the electronic appliances to shock whoever used them. He’s even been to jail a few times, for a handful of stupid non-violent crimes that he committed in his early twenties. Nothing serious. Jordan is such a dick, he can’t keep a job, or a partner, or even a roof over his head. He lives fast, breezes through his life like a speeding train—one thing after another, after another—and now he’s so far down the wrong path, he’s hit a dead end. In his late twenties, he wants nothing more than to get his life on track, and find some sense of stability… but old habits die hard, and abrasive personalities don’t change overnight. Having not spoken to his family for years, he’s recently reconnected with his brothers, CJ and Stephen, and is trying to make up for the lost time. As far as reconciling with Tom and their parents goes, it’s still a work in progress. Tom sends him money every now and then, and checks in on him from time to time, but they haven’t really spoken in ages. Aside from his brothers, Jordan has no other family to rely on—no serious partners, or any kids… that he knows of—so it’s important to him that he un-burns those bridges as soon as he can. These days, Jordan is either living out of his car or crashing at CJ’s apartment. He makes his money via Onlyfans, Fansly, and a wide selection of cam sites, just so he can get by. Seeing the wonders that it’s done for others—like CJ—and feeling as though he has no other legal options, he’s only testing the waters of the porn world while he waits for something better to come along, but the money is looking good, and the job prospects are thin. Maybe he’ll ride the wave a bit longer.

CJ:

Cj is the second youngest—the sexy himbo. He’s gone his whole life skating by on his looks alone, and he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. He first knew he was handsome when he was a little boy… when women at the grocery store would stop him and his mother in the aisles and gush over how cute they thought he was. They’d pinch his cheeks, ruffle his hair, and go on and on about how he was going to be a heartbreaker when he grew up. Little did they know that they were creating a little monster. When he got to elementary school, and started to interact with other kids more frequently, he quickly noticed how all of the little girls in his class would fawn over him. They’d bat their little eyelashes and giggle like mice whenever he spoke… and, at first, it made him a bit uncomfortable. He wasn’t used to that kind of attention from kids his age. Most, if not all of his typical admirers were grown women, just being sweet… but, as the years went on, and the girls got more bold, he began to learn how to use his looks to his advantage, and get the better of his peers. CJ wasn’t good at long division in third grade, so he’d always ask the smart girls to do his math homework for him—bribe them with quick kisses, or by inviting them to play with him at recess, and use them like his own personal minions. They were so easy to trick. Middle school was just the same. He got taller, his voice dropped, his teenage features started to take shape, and his lean physique became more muscular… and from the time he entered the sixth grade, all the way up through the end of his eighth grade year, he hardly ever had to try academically. That’s how easy life was for him, up until he graduated high school. Instead of doing things himself, he’d just pass the buck to someone else and take the credit for what they did—whether it was a beautiful, naive girl, or his own brothers—and, by the time he was a legal adult, he had nothing to show for himself. He couldn’t do simple math, or read any books that didn’t have interesting pictures on them. He couldn’t cook for himself, do his own laundry, or drive a car. He could hardly even hold a conversation. Tom tried to help him learn, teaching him how to care for himself—past maintaining his appearance—but he quickly gave up the effort when his career started to take off. Left to his own devices, as an extremely late bloomer, CJ didn’t have any of the skills that it took to make it as an adult… but he did have his amazing body. Using what he had in order to get what he wanted, CJ dove headfirst into the porn industry, taking any job that came his way, and stacking up the money. He did both amateur and professional work—hardcore stuff, fetish stuff, taboo stuff, and vanilla. He slept with guys, girls, and everyone in between, all in an effort to make enough cash to move out of his parents’ house and live on his own… and it didn’t take long before he had the keys to his very own apartment. Now, he’s living by himself, pumping out NSFW content like a peon factory, making thousands of dollars a week, and showing Jordan how he can do the same. Having been in the business for a few years, CJ is a very successful entertainer… and, after years of being a lackluster student, he’s finally discovering the joys of teaching and mentoring someone else, for a change.

Stephen:

Stephen is the youngest—the kind-hearted, awkward geek, who’s just trying to start what will be the rest of his life on the right track. Having idolized his eldest brother, Tom, for pretty much all of his life, Stephen knows that it takes hard work, intelligence, and integrity to be successful in this world, and he wants to build a great foundation for the rest of his life to thrive on. He sees the things that his other brothers are doing, and he doesn’t judge them for it, or see them as any lesser, but he knows that he wants more for himself than what they have. He wants to be like Tom. His only problem is that he’s in his first semester of college, and he still doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life yet. There are so many possibilities, and so many paths that he could follow. He could be a doctor, or an engineer, or a writer. He always did have an interest in biology and anatomy, and he’s got his academic transcripts are outstanding. He could be an architect, or go into the business world. The choices are endless! Just barely nineteen, living under his parents’ roof, he’s a blank canvas with the world at his feet… and he has no idea what he wants to do with it yet.

Maybe I’ll end up writing some story with these characters soon… explore them some more.

RIDE THE CYCLONE FAMILY HEADCANONS! 🌀

these were originally just for fun between me and my friends, but I love them so so much (especially Kathleen, i might post about her more), so I had to post :3

Ocean:

- One sister. Rayna

- Never got along w Rayna since they're polar opposites but care about each other a lot

- Her canon parents obviously are very neglectful, so I feel like while Rayna and Ocean don't get along, it's just them against the world so yk.

- Even though her parents don't give a shit, Ocean has this internal need to make them proud in some way.

Noel:

- Younger half-brother who's about 12. Eli Gruber?? (maybe)

- His mom ended up leaving his dad, having Eli with another guy. That guy left when Noel was 10 so since then, he's been raised with a single son

- His mom is kind of homophobic but doesn't want to hurt her son, so she tries her hardest to accept it but still kind of sees him as a disappointment

- She subconsciously favours Eli and doesn't see her children as equals sometimes for that reason

- Noel and Eli don't really have a relationship, they don't talk to each other even though they were raised together. Noel didn't like Eli's dad so they never bonded properly.

Misha:

- Only child

- Before he came to Canada, he had a good childhood. His mom was loving towards him, and even though they weren't rich and Misha's mom wasn't the healthiest (due to the radiation), they got by.

- Within the last year before Misha was sent to Canada, he saw the worst of his mom's health issues. He became a sort of carer for her. It was a hard job but he balanced it well with school.

- Misha's mom sent him to Canada with the hopes he would have a better opportunity there + for safety.

- His adoptive parents aren't the best. They weren't expecting Misha to be 17, so they neglected him, doing less than the bare minimum for him.

Ricky:

- One older sister, Kathleen (Kath) Potts (around 26/27)

- Ricky's parents are on the older side, having Ricky at around 40 and Kathleen around their 30s. (Meaning they would be in their late 50s now)

- Originally they only wanted one child, but when they found out about Ricky they were overjoyed and wanted to do their best to raise him.

- Ricky and Kath had a very good relationship. Kath would constantly take care of him when his parents struggled, and overall they just grew up having the best relationship. (I LOVE KATHLEEN POTTS SO SO MUCH)

- Ricky's parents are the type to let his friends stay over whenever he wants - e.g. if they're struggling/have a rocky relationship with their own parents, they can just chill there for the night and his parents would welcome them with open arms

Jane/Penny:

- if we're going based off of legoland, her family is pretty canon (i.e. She has one brother - Ezra, and her parents are in jail)

- was in and out of various foster homes/care homes

- close relationship with her brother, always insisted that she would stay in the same foster home as him

Constance:

- In canon she has at least one little brother, I hc that she has 3 brothers total, all younger. Their names are Dylan, Henry and Thomas bc I said so

- Her parents have a good relationship with each other and Constance, but they're somewhat strict. In the sense that they're very protective of their children

- Even though she fights with her brothers a lot, she genuinely has a good relationship with them and cares for them, it's just sibling things

- Since she's the oldest and learnt how to do those first, she taught them life skills like cooking, cleaning, and other stuff

Hermitcraft/life series fic I’m workshopping

Superheroes with the watchers as the evil guys to force/blackmail super powered humans to do what they want.

The Hermits are the worlds version of the avengers

The sky siblings (grain,pearl and jimmy) are siblings in this au and are avians and have side small powers related to their bird species.

Grain =parrot(red with lots of colours)likes flying and can do it well

jimmy =canary(The Crested Canary) isn’t good with heights and smaller wings so can’t fly long or to well since he mostly hides his wings

Pearl = owl (The Powerful Owl)loves flying and good at gliding

Grain =oldest pearl and jimmy =younger twins (pearls older of the twins)

Growing up grain accidentally got involved with the watchers and went to prison for it and as a part of his rehabilitation he has to help the hermits and after a few years he ranks up to hero position

During grains jail time pearl and jimmy are still young so they are kinda fending for themselves (let’s say the parents are absent because that physically or emotionally or financially) jimmy lands a job part time at his friends Lizzie’s family vet clinic and pearl gets a part time waste disposal position

Due to her job and relationship to grian the watchers keeps tabs on pearl and sometimes around 18ish she goes missing and presumed dead but in reality the watchers have taken her

Jimmy eventually goes on to get a medical license and actually gets hired to the hermits for medical

Around about 4 years after pearls disappearance a watcher villian with jet black wings appears by the name scarlet and starts causing a lot of trouble and normally the hermits can sus out how the watchers have a villain under their control and help them get out but with scarlet they can’t find anything.

Btw the others come into this at odd angles like:

Martin is a double agent who helps the hermits out with watcher info but he’s not on the top of the watchers information clearance yet so doesn’t know everything

Lizzie is dating Joel who’s the public communications guy for the hermits and she herself runs her family vet(this comes in with pearl and grain plot I’ve thought of)

Scar is a hero for the hermits along with most of the others

Gem was pearls friend before she was taken and was planing to go to med school with jimmy but decided to go full hero route but still is help with medical

Impulse and skizz are a superhero duo(in hermit group) who still run their own podcast

I’m going to be adding more just not ironed out the details yet

On Miguel and Motivations Behind his Behaviors Towards Miles

An analysis point I haven't seen much around (<- says the man who never looks in the tag) is the idea that Miguel was trying to be the very thing Miles could blame when (in Mig's eyes) he's unable to save his father.

Miguel's main motivation for his actions across the board are in his most iconic line:

"I don’t always like what I have to do, but I know I'm going to have to be the one to do it."

This line is very defining for him because it's reflected on how Miguel shoulders the responsibilities of the Spiderverse and any unsavory actions it might have to take for whatever reason. He alone makes the decision, the action so "no one else will have to" feel that guilt*.

*which I should note. Comic book Miguel is very much noted to have severe guilt with being S-man ("No, with great responsibility, comes great guilt!") but constantly states "he has to do it because who will?". Being S-man isn't a freeing thing for him... It's an obligation, a way for him to "atone for his sins" (from the man with severe Catholic trauma).

However, his need to be the one to "make the hardline decisions" out of guilt isn't the only influencer in his actions towards Miles.

Because another important note about comic Miguel is his biggest trait in all his relationships: he is the scapegoat.

From his mother, to his father(s), to his ex-girlfriend, ex-fiance, and even his brother himself. Miguel is always a means for people to escape blame. He is always a means to place responsibility to "fix it" because only /Miguel/ can fix it* for them (wow his oldest sibling disorder is showing).

*Gabriel, his brother, is seen multiple times demanding Miguel to "fix" the situations he finds himself in such as getting his girlfriend out of jail as Miguel "owes it to him" for working with Alchemax.

Furthermore, Miguel is seen having /quiet/ anger responses towards how others treat him; i.e. when Dana, his then-fiance, comes to him after talking to Tyler Stone, (later known: his bio father) who is untrustworthy and whom also Dana is cheating on Mig with (this fact is unknown to Mig at the time too), Mig is notably upset yet never raises his voice, he keeps his anger to himself and quiet.

This allows others to easily project onto him- Dana then projects her own view of what Miguel must be feeling in the next panel (which- she is often severely incorrect in her assessments as stated by Miguel himself in several instances of self-reflection)

And thus, Miguel has every intention to allow himself to be the scapegoat for others as long as he lives. Especially one Miles Morales.

Because Miguel is not happy preventing Miles from saving his father, he almost cries about it, he /wants/ to comfort Miles the whole time. He doesn't like what he has to do.

But Miguel has come this far (ensuring everyone's safety) and he can't let Miles make the same mistakes he made. Because to Miguel, he tried to alter his story and tried to fight what he didn't even know what would become the canon theory.

Yes, there are circumstances, there could be exceptions*, there's a possibility everything will be alright but Miguel /does not/ know this. He didn't know about canon theory or what would happen to Gabby then. All he knows now is that he flew too close to the sun and killed billions of people, and now, he doesn't want to allow Miles to "play god" and find himself with no home. It's "better" to be safe than sorry as he'd say <- through gritted teeth and tears.

*Whether the canon theory is true or not is not really important in this reading. The theory is just meant as a metaphor for whole vs one, risk vs caution, and the suffocation of fear-

So Miguel does what he doesn't want the others to do. He plays the scapegoat, the guy you can put all your anger towards, the thing you can blame when it just doesn't work how you want it to, and focus all your hatred on instead of yourself.

He doesn't order any of the others to throw the containment field at Miles (they didn't even know he was going to), he doesn't order the others to talk about the canon theory (also because he's reminding himself about why he's asking a kid to let his father die and to remind everyone of Mig's own faults- takes the blame as the sole destroyer of worlds despite us knowing Gabby's dimension isn't the only one that's collapsed thus far and strictly by Miguel's hands), he even leads majority of the apprehension of Miles himself.

Hell, he even lets himself be the scapegoat for why Gwen and Peter B don't visit Miles. We don't know enough about that conversation to say how much Miguel said "no, don't see him" but he sure isn't trying to fight* any possible allegations of how that conversation went either via clarifying /what/ it was he said.

Lastly, Miguel's control issues really appear in these interactions even, in this choice. Because, Miguel is taking on the choice for others because he thinks he can control others' grief if he just "does it 'right' for them", and that's just not /possible/.

You can't choose the how and when for others, you can't "fix this" for them, you can't make sure no one ever gets hurt because you'd rather someone scream at you for stopping them or taking the choice from them, than for them to experience something that's an inherent part of life and mature and grow from it.

To receive that "just punishment" that you're always seemingly striving for because you care so deeply about everyone and everything yet can't comprehend that others might care for you as well.

You can't keep suffocating others in your own fear, Miguel.

"And all this time, /I've/ been the only one holding it all together."

Yeah, Miguel has severe issues, he's projecting onto this kid, he majorly fucked up this interaction, but I feel Miguel's insistence on placing any and /all/ blame onto himself is a very vital piece of his character that we shouldn't ignore especially in analysis.

+ Another note of Comic Miguel's character: Miguel is very prone to allowing anyone to say literally anything to him. He's called horrendous things and he /never/ denies these things. He never tries to make anyone believe otherwise because Miguel agrees with them-

-Yes, he's Gabriel's slimeball brother who's arrogant and egotistical and a jackass and impossible to work with and a terrible, no-good son. Because no one has ever said one nice thing to Miguel O'Hara. They've only praised Spider-man.

Dally's Siblings

Here they are! Back in New York a couple months before their mother died. From oldest to youngest there's-

Ghenrih or "Henry" which is what he goes by, at age 17 Elizaveta or "Elizabeth", at age 16 Dallas at age 9 Finn at age 7 Laila at age 4

Henry

Henry squinted in most photos he's been in since he was a kid because he desperately needs glasses. He got them once he got out of the house and got a job.

He's quite handsome now, he works as a reporter and kinda gives Milo Thatch vibes. He also has a very loving wife named Lucy May.

He's always had real big ears and when he was young kids would make fun of him for them.

His actual name is Russian but there was a lot of prejudice against immigrants at the time so he mainly goes by Henry. Same case with Elizaveta.

He and Elizabeth were the only ones for a solid 7 years so they were really close. They went through a lot together. They both protected each other a lot from gangs and their father. At the time, their mom was ok enough. So they spent a lot of time around her side of the family. 

He taught Dally how to play cards and how to play marbles. He really loved him but Henry was honestly not around too often since he was trying to make a living. It made him extremely nervous to leave his siblings at home and to leave Elizabeth alone as well. He didn’t trust either of his parents. Especially once the gunshot was fired.

When Dally bolted after their mother was shot, Henry grabbed his coat immediately and bolted after him. But he wasn’t able to catch him. He just stood in the streetlight with shock. He knew just how broken his brother was. Why didn’t he do anything about it?! Now he was gone and there was nothing he could do about it.

He helped Elizabeth a lot more after that and took Laila and Finn to his apartment quite often. But he was slowly becoming more busy though it broke his heart to leave Elizabeth to be with them all the time.

Their father ended up in jail for killing their mother and he went to visit him. Henry had to be restrained by officers after he lunged for his father, screaming at him. His father had said things like “She didn’t deserve to be here anyways” and “You think you and your sister didn’t deserve those bruises?!”

They never really had a lot of money so nowadays he still is a bit sensitive about money and food. Even though he’s got a really successful job and lives comfortably.

When he found out Elizabeth died he sobbed and wailed for hours upon hours, days upon days.  He’s still not over her death and can’t even hear her name without tearing up.

Elizabeth always wears giant, clunky boots. She just likes how they look.

She was the one Dally was closest too. She loved him a whole lot and always told him he was extra special (in a loving way, don’t be weird) he felt kinda bad about joining the gang cause he knew she would be worried, but it was what he had to do.

She was always worried about Dally getting caught up in gangs. She never wanted to have to go down to the police to get any of her siblings out! And she never had to…

She sang all the siblings lullabies at night. They all shared a room and she was the one who knew all the lullabies in their parents’ native tongues. Henry would join in with the ones he remembered, but she was mainly the one singing. The rest of them still hum some of the tunes to this day.

She had such a soft smile. It was beautiful and breathtaking. 

She had a boyfriend that she liked, his name was Teddy. But she became too stressed out about everything and started to shut out everything else. So she broke it off. 

She was honestly the most depressed sibling. She was the main caretaker of them all since their mom was an addict and their dad was barely around except to yell at them all and be violent. It took quite the toll on her but she pretended to be happy for her siblings.

When Dallas ran off after their mother was shot, she was worried sick. She couldn’t find him anywhere and didn’t even know what to do with herself with all that went down.

She worked several jobs while being the main parental figure for all the kids. But it was too much for her.

She felt incredibly guilty for what she was about to do. But life was becoming too much for her. This was her only way out in her eyes. So when she turned 23 she went to the Brooklyn Bridge, and jumped.

Laila was 11, Finn was 14. They got the news from the police. They sobbed as the news was delivered and they were hauled off to an orphanage.

Laila is the only one with brown eyes. They’re real big too. 

She used to carry around a beat-up wolf stuffed animal everywhere she went. It used to be Henry’s but he got too old for it. She still has him to this day. His name is “Terry” if you care.

Whenever she and Finn ended up in the orphanage, she was extremely sad. She barely had a clue what was going on and was just terrified. She became a lot more shy and anxious.

Dallas was always Finn’s hero when he was older. He thought he was so cool and tough because of little brother stuff. He was honestly the spitting image of Dallas as he got older. Except Finn has always stayed positive. So he looks like Dallas, if Dallas was happy and not hardened by the world. He also has shorter hair and dimples.

He loved his raincoat so much as a kid. He wore it all the time because he thought it made him look bigger and tougher.

Henry didn’t have the stability to take them in after Elizabeth’s death so he and Laila were taken to an orphanage. In turn Finn became extremely protective of Laila and had very little trust in everyone. He still managed to stay positive for the most part.

They did get adopted though, an older couple named Jeremiah and Kira. They were from North Carolina and came to visit family in New York. Kira wasn’t able to have kids so they gave up on having them a while ago. But then somebody in their family mentioned adoption and they decided to look into the process. Which led to them meeting Finn and Laila.

They now live happily in North Carolina, Finn is slowly adjusting and Laila is coming out of her shell. 

In the Survival AU, Finn and Laila were visiting Oklahoma and while stopping in Tulsa at Cynthia’s soda fountain, they saw him. Talking to his girl, laughing at something his friend said. Finn couldn’t believe his eyes. Laila didn’t even recognize him but was the one to point him out. Cynthia noticed the kids staring at them and brought Dally’s attention to them. Dally’s jaw dropped as soon as he saw the two of them. (I may draw this later) They didn’t even know how to react.

After they met again they told him about Elizabeth which he was not really in the state to take it, it was literally a year after everything went down with Johnny and such. But Henry found out and immediately roadtripped down to see them all.

Dally always thought if he ever saw his family again they would hate him and he would hate seeing them as well. He thought it would remind him too much of the day he ran off. But he honestly started crying with joy when he met eyes with Henry. He tried to keep up the tough guy attitude but when they all hugged he actually started crying. It felt nice to see his family again, the good ones.

Ponds: Oldest. Absolutely doesn’t want to be oldest because that means he has to be more responsible than everyone else. Please don’t put that on him. Please.

Wolffe: Second oldest. The one who ended up with the oldest daughter-syndrome. Takes his younger siblings to school and picks them up from there while playing either metal or Barbie Girl on full blast. Extremely adoptable. Plo Koon had those papers READY from the moment they met for the first time.

Cody: Third oldest. Counts himself to be one of the older siblings despite being the middle child. Appears very responsible and usually is, but then he starts doing weird shit out of nowhere. Gets together with an older man who looks like an English professor who part-times as a yoga teacher. Cody thinks that’s the hottest shit ever. He gets made fun of aggressively.

Bly: Second youngest. People think he’s the youngest sometimes, and he is offended every single time. Thinks he can get away from being made fun of from falling in love with his Jedi because at least his Jedi is young and cool. He does not. He has not been called by his actual name by his brothers in years now. One of them got into his discord account and changed his username to Simp-5052. Bly hasn’t been able to change it back. He has tried.

Fox: The youngest. The Baby. Tries to escape the Baby Jail every waking moment of his life. Thought he succeeded when Rex got adopted into the batch. He got set straight very quickly about his life-sentence still continuing. Thought he succeeded the second time when he became the Commander of the Guard. Then Plo Koon heard about him and showed up with more adoption papers and all of his vod’ike are now coddling him. Thought he succeeded the third time when he got married. All of his brothers wanted to give a speech at his wedding. The whole Galaxy now knows that he’s the baby. He wants to maim something.

Rex: The younger cousing who got adopted into the family. The youngest but not. Absolutely plays the little brother card when he needs it, but then the next moment says that he has never met these people in his entire life. The only truly responsible one of them all and he knows it.

They were hanging out and ended up sleeping together. Dante and Vasi were the best partners she could have asked for for her first time (she’s made out with people, and look at her siblings she knows what sex is, she’s just inexperienced)

I think Helena is in such a weird spot in her family. She’s so much younger than all her siblings and her oldest niece, and all her other nibblings are 4-9 years younger than her. So they don’t really call her aunt Helena. She’s always felt out of place. So so loved and she loves her family, but not really belonging to any group.

The drama that happens is someone rich prick artist, who had the hots for her, wanted her but she was clearly with Dante and Vasi. So he framed them. Made it look like they had robbed her gallery at a fancy event she was having there, with all her siblings in attendance. When the “crime” came into light, Helena became her father’s daughter. She completely shut down her emotions.

Her siblings tried to say something, and she gave them the BatGlare…..a few hours later, they all heard the moment she was alone in her office. They heard her break down crying the most heartbroken sobs.

Dante and Vasi were in the same cell at the police station, both insanely worried about Helena. Helena’s siblings appear, fully prepared to beat the shit out of them? But they aren’t even scared. They only care about Helena. They’re insulted people think they would

( guys I wrote this like Two weeks ago but I didn’t wanna finish it and I finally did today so yayyyy. Also tell me if you wnat a part two were they get tg or something.)

After vylad was turned into a shadow knight. He often visited O’khasis, just to check on his mother and make sure Zane's cruel actions against him hadn't spread to their mother. Vylad has always had a hold on his emotions, even the night Zane killed him in their garden. He didn't freak out or try and run he just complied with the fact of what was about to happen.

One night on his way back from O’Khasis vylad decided to stop in a village nearby for a place to stay for the night. He's never stayed in this village before but he's seen it many times and has heard many things about this place. He knows this place is ruled by a woman named Nakianoi and that she is the oldest of her three siblings who she takes care of. But she's a dictator. Often she governs how much everyone makes and doesn't allow individual businesses in her village. He learned while staying the night there that they have a curfew and that he’s lucky he wasn’t spotted by the guards or he would have spent the night in jail.

Once it was morning he was about to leave but he remembered he needed an herb for a potion. So he made his way to the market. After getting all he needed he was walking through the market to leave but then his whole body was stopped causing him to drop what was in his hand. Y/n a young woman who looked around his age. 18 maybe 19. Is sitting on the floor right across from him.

“Oh no I am so sorry sir!” she apologized while picking up his herb bag to hand to him. In return, he stares at her for a moment then takes the bag out of her hand and gets up so fast it makes her flinch then he just walks away??? Without a word. After a moment of watching him walk away and disappear into the tree, she gets up and goes on with her day thinking about the weird occurrence ends up forgetting it after a day or two.

Now it’s been months since that occurrence and she hasn’t seen him since then.

“Y/n seems to love nature she loves to walk around the forest all alone with nobody around. Sometimes even at night, she wanders far from her village without a guard or even a friend. Alone. It worries me every night I watch her, following her I worry and I can't stop because she won't.” vylad thinks to himself from two trees away from the one y/n is leaning up against while writing in her book.

“ I've been watching her for months and this is all she does. She wonders and then sits a writes. Why can't she do this at home where she is safe? At first, I was drawn to her because she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. I was just going to watch her until Gene called me back to the nether and then I would move on but I can't stop, she's just so reckless. His thought ended promptly when he heard a noise coming from behind her. He starts to get closer as stealthily as he can but he's panicking because she won't even look at the noise Noor flinch.

“ is this girl stupid “ he thinks to himself.

Finally what was lurking behind her emerged from the bushes revealing itself to be just a bunny, “it's just a bunny a small little bunny. No threat no harm.” he repeated to himself as if he were trying to comfort himself. Now he is still in the tree right above her and she still hasn't noticed him or the bunny that came from the bushes. This is the closest he's been to her since that day in the market. He feels so rude for how he reacted, he just got scared. Scared of how he didn't even notice her causing him to bump into her. Scared of how for a moment while on the ground with her the only thing he could think about was how gorgeous she was and how her voice was so enchanting and calming. He just couldn’t get it out of his head, she was like a songbird. Sometimes he would hear her hum to herself while walking. It was nostalgic.

Now that he’s standing over her he needs to adjust himself in a manner that allows him to see her face clearly after all that was why he did this in the first place. To watch as she lives her human life with her human expressions and human experience. Not because of envy that he doesn't get those experiences or to hurt her. He would never but now after getting to know her by watching her in a distance. Listening to the way she speaks and treats things around her, he would also never let anything hurt her.

But While adjusting a piece of bark fell from the tree and fell right on her. Yet she still didn't move or look. He finds this confusing how hasn't she noticed?

“Why hasn't she noticed? “

“I find it hard to believe. “ he thought to himself.

It’s hours after dark now practically the middle of the night and she still hasn’t gone home yet. He didn’t realize at first but she’s asleep?

“Out here all alone she chose to sleep?!?! What is the matter with this girl? Doesn’t she know there are thefts, men that could hurt her, and monsters in the shadows? There's one right here next to her “ he refers to himself.

But his mind lectures and fears are about to come true as he hears a group of men in the distance speaking to each other but he can't make out what they are saying. They are too far. So he gets closer.

“Tonight we take the village. Tomorrow we rule the village. The woman and the children “ what seems to be the group leader shouts to his group of men. The only village close to here and in their course of direction is y/n village.

“That must be where they're going.” vylad thinks to himself. “ I can't let her go back there if those men are going to try and take the place with force I presume. I also can't let them see her or they will take her “ he's not sure what to do but he needs to think fast because the men start to get on their horses and head towards the village. He gets back to her as quickly as he can and in this moment there is nothing else he can do except take her.

“ I can't leave this room, I can't stop watching her sleep. I'm anxiously waiting for when she wakes up. She's going to be very upset, maybe she will scream at me she has every reason to. I kidnapped her. Even though it was done to protect her she doesn't know that. I should keep my distance when she wakes up and sees a strange man standing above her I’m certain she will freak out. Why would I do this I could have minded my business. Been half way around the world but I’m wasting my time with this girl. Just cause she makes me feel this pit in my stomach. Maybe she spelled me I mean all of this is unlike me.” He pasted back and forth.

After maybe ten minutes of him pasting he hears a Russell in the bed as she moves around. And moans slightly assuming it’s because she’s comfortable.

“ she’s starting to wake up” he panics he doesn’t know what to do now that she’s waking up. Maybe he will scream he’s so nervous. She sits up and looks around slowly but then she sets her eyes on vylad.

“ um hello “ she says softy.

“ hello “ he says back. She bites her lips and continues to look around for a second then looks back at him with a confused expression.

“ why am I here ? “ she says weirdly calm as if she didn’t just get kidnapped.

“ well you fell asleep in the woods and then then men were on there way to attack your village so I brought you here so they wouldn’t get to you” he answers. She nods her head gently and stands up.

“ so do you think they succeeded?” She asks.

“ I’m not certain. There was word of there attack this morning rumored in the village but just that not whether they achieved there goal. “ she nods again in agreement to his words.

“ well then I can’t go back “ she smiles.

He’s confused why she would be happy about this. What about her sister or her people?.

“ I’m sorry about that. I’m sure whatever home you choose with be just as good as the one you had before” he sympathize.

“ better I hope. I’m very sad at the life’s that could have been lost or what is happening there but I would have rather been dead then to stay under my sisters dictatorship much longer. I wasn’t aloud to be a person because it made her jealous but now I hope her peace in her fate and freedom in mine.” She explains.

“ thank you for saving me sir, please let me repay you in some way” she suggested.

“ no it is alright miss I don’t need anything for saving you. Your life is payment enough” he denied her request. With a smile on her face she gets closer to him.

“ well thank you “ she says while looking deeply into his eyes. But then she squints.

“ do I know you from somewhere else ? “ she asks.

“ no I don’t think so ma’am. “ lied.

“ mhm I feel like I do” she observes him more closely but he quickly turns away.

“ I need to go now but I hope you get the freedom you wanted.” He says as he walks out the door leaving her to her new life.

“ oh bye “ she says but he’s already gone.

i think the dude is an only child . HOWEVER if the different dudes HAD to have siblings, this is what I think theyd have:

postal 1 dude the kinda guy to have an older sister that took care of him and tried her best to help him but she tragically died or something. like the whole "she was the last angel in this world run rampant with demons" shebang. i came up with this before reading the novel and christ i was spot on

meanwhile postal 2 dude the kinda guy to just have a shitty older brother. just an absolute asshole. like the kinda guy that keeps asking dude to bail him outta jail. and dude does NOT wanna talk to his ass ever no family reunions

postal 3 dude i think would have a lot of siblings. maybe he’s the oldest and he only halfheartedly tries to set a good example. I picture him having a pre/teen sister who he keeps trying to make conversation with but is totally out of his depth with what kids are into these days. also a little brother who he makes fun of a lot

postal 4 dude feels like the kinda guy who has a similarly aged sister (1-2 years older/younger) and they didn’t have a good relationship growing up. overall tense atmosphere. something gives me the feeling that their parents caused it. but as they matured, they slowly began understanding each other, made up and now they’re got a bond of steel, even if they don’t see each other very often

Okay firstly the tree kids, the one in the front, frisco segundo madrigal and her brother, vicenta segundo madrigal (decided to make them siblings since they look alike to be siblings 👍) their sister (who was their step sister in their past family) Patricia ortuno madrigal!! They lived in a not so great household, often having to take care of themselves since their parents didn’t care, they didn’t get parental love neither did they get cared for good, their parents ended up in jail from some fight and since then Dolores took care of them!! (She basically did before but now they live with her) all of them are 5 year olds!

The two girls wanted their hair to be like Dolores!! Also some earrings :D and Camilo showed vicenta some outfits he might like, which he loved!!

Onto the nexttt, the ginger head is rafaela lazcano madrigal!! He is an orphan, he was in a lot of foster homes, some great and some awful, in the end he got adopted by Dolores since his past foster family was not so great and he also hated hopping into a new foster home every few weeks. He is 7 year old!!

Esmerelda Jerez madrigal!! She did have a parent who cared (her father) who then later on left, her mother didn’t like her since birth since she claimed that esmerelda wasnt her child. Esmerelda actually came from an other town!! Since her mother had left her in this town alone and then left without her. Ofc, Dolores who heard all of this immediately went to her, and now she lives with Dolores :D she is 8 years old!!

Leandra henriquez madrigal! Was the neighbor from Mariano, his parents always left him alone at home, leaving leandra with no food, no money, no nothing. Mariano noticed it and started to take care of him, later on Dolores joined too. He firstly was hesitating (he struggles a lot with abandonment issue like Esmerelda) but then he opened up, they took care of him till they fully took him in! (His parents never came home after one night.) He looks up to Mariano a lot and hopes to become a lot like him. He also is 8 years old!

Camilo trying to make fun of Camilo but it just ended up being humiliating for him!! (He couldn’t carry rafeala for more than 3 seconds) leandra is getting impressed by how strong he is and Esmeralda is admiring mirabels sewing skills!!

The last one is the two siblings, Bronco and Almira socarras madrigal!! (Decided to switch the names with ages) Bronco, who is a curious 3 year old, and his baby sister almira. The 1 year old almira takes a lot from his brother, their curiousy takes Dolores a whole level away!! Their parents didn’t care much about them, mostly letting them outside in the garden not knowing the danger (Dolores had to save them multiple times,) and only doing stuff with them when it comes over to fame. (They care a lot about how people judge them.) In the end, the house was in a fire, dolores safely secured them before any real harm happened. Luckily it was just some scars but it was still very traumatic for them.

Bronco loves candy, but Dolores doesn’t let him eat that much since he’s got a small stomach which gets bad fastly but his Abuela makes sure he gets some daily ;)

Almira loves admiring and touching faces (mostly Dolores’s and isabela’s :D) she’s very curious!!

Wayne Family Trauma

I'm loving the current story line in Wayne Family Adventures and allowing the past trauma come out with small to big breakdowns with Duke, Jason, and Bruce and I'm hoping a couple lines and the promo pic of Barbara means we get one with her too. But there a couple of things I want to happen after. And when I say after I mean AFTER.

Look Tim became Robin going I'm gonna lift Batman up when he stayed in the darkness too much after Jason died. He became Robin to be the perfect Robin to allow Batman to become who Batman was suppose to be again. Tim, to me, is a high stress person. A person that works better under the stress. The thing is that those types of people can sometimes have a harder time when the pressure is released.

So I want sometime after Joker is back in jail and Duke and everyone is fully healed and everyone really thinks everyone is doing well for Dick to be lightly hurt at sometime when Dick, Bruce, and Tim are together and Bruce was turned talking to Tim at the moment. This can be in costume or not and when I say lightly hurt I mean it is practically nothing at all. The stakes could NOT be lower so Tim has no pressure on him to help him maintain himself. And I want Batman's words of if one of the others get hurt cause I was dealing with you then that will be on you to go through Tim's head then and him to have his own freak out breakdown. They get back to the manor (or were already there) and Dick reassures Tim it's okay nothing happened. Bruce ends up telling Dick that he can head home Bruce would like to talk to Tim alone. He has some things to that him and Tim need to have a one on one with that is long overdo. Dick agrees but asks to be let know if everything is okay after.

Bruce and Tim helps Tim calm down and they do talk it out and he does address how he went too far in his fear (to be clear I don't mean this as a I hate Bruce how could he but as a character flaw as people have). Bruce will also talk to Stephanie after this but if anyone has any fun ideas for her please share.

But you might be wondering why specifically Dick? This would work for any of them. Well that is because of the second mini breakdown I want. Dick is between the oldest child and Bruce's significantly younger enough brother that Bruce ended up raising after parents died so kind of acts as a bridge between the other kids and Bruce. He has had to step into Batman's shoes so he knows where Bruce is coming from but he has also made sure to remember how those choices made him feel. He plays the perfect big brother that is gonna make sure his siblings feel respected but are still protected and have all they need. Because one time he let the Joker get under his skin he killed the Joker and Tim had to push himself too hard to bring him back and that just ended up with Dick becoming another adult Tim had to worry about when he should not have had that on him(Tim). So I want Dick to get home to his empty apartment (cause if anyone was there then Dick would have something to do to be useful for someone) and have a mini freak out that he didn't keep track of his siblings enough to realize Tim needed help and instead became a point of stress.

And here one of the others could come for a surprise visit and see this and then we get another talk down reminding Dick he doesn't have to do stuff for everyone he just has to be himself (harkening back to an earlier issue) and he can also lean on them. He doesn't have to be the balancing act between them and Bruce and them and their feelings all the time. I personally want this one to be Jason or Jason and Barbara but others work too.

Since I am actively updating this story, I decided to make the list of my prominent Progression OCs. I will likely add Fern and Milan to part 4.

Vice

Introduced in: Chapter 1 of Progression

Age: 36

Profession: Major Family Bodyguard

Characteristics: hardworking, morally ambiguous, loving brother, quick to feel resentment

Importance: Chay's first sexual partner.

Origin: Ex-cop, orphan. Became a bodyguard to bail his troubled younger brother out of jail. Became enamored by Chay's growing confidence, abilities, and muscles. Despite their age gap and first time being sudden, they slept together a few more times. Chay declined the offer to go out on a date, then slept with Vice's roommate not too long after. This was a problem because Vice has been in a FWB situation with his roommate for a while, so he felt betrayed by both of them.

Sand

Introduced in: Chapter 9 of Progression

Age: 26

Profession: Major Family Bodyguard

Characteristics: Loyal, quiet, friendly, relatively strong moral compass despite job

Importance: Chay's previous sexual partner, the only one he considers a friend.

Origin: Has very little family outside of the compound. Comes from foster care. Took the job for stability and a place to live, stayed for the friendships. Would have been open to dating Chay, but okay with being friends too. They work out together and sometimes have semi-heartfelt conversations. Honestly a pretty good guy.

Lane

Introduced in: Chapter 7 of Progression

Age: 33

Profession: Psychotherapist

Characteristics: Patient, understanding, trustworthy, calm, professional

Importance: Kim's therapist, and she has actually made some strides with him.

Origin: Lane is the older cousin of Tay. She is his mother's sister's daughter. While her immediate family is not directly involved with the mafia, she grew up close enough to Tay to know some of the traumas that occurred. Kinn already knew her and was on good terms with her due to Tay, so he reached out after it became clear Kim needed extensive treatment in order to feel better. Kim genuinely likes her, and would probably not be able to switch to a new therapist easily, or possibly at all.

Malai

Introduced: In Progression, Tankhun mentions visiting her in Chapter 20, and she is introduced in Chapter 22 officially. Versions of her character are also mentioned/included in The Masks Series, Lay Me Down to Sleep, and I Do (Not Understand What's Going On).

Age: 34

Profession: Litigation Paralegal

Characteristics: Kind, ambitious, maternal, excellent multitasker

Importance: Arm's older sister

Origin: Malai as a general character was first introduced in 5, 3, 1, and On, which is a novel length prequel to Giant Dancing Hedgehogs are Nightmare Fuel told solely from Arm's POV. In that, she lives with her younger sisters and is characterized as a hardworking sisterly/motherly figure due to rescuing Arm and the girls from the human trafficking situation they were all in. In this universe, she is more career oriented, but still a motherly figure at heart. She adopted her foster siblings after becoming of age from a really abusive and traumatic household. Arm is six years younger than Malai, but the next oldest and the only boy in their family. He often feels a need to make up for her sacrifices, but she makes them happily. A year before Progression, she had a close friend pass away, leaving behind twin toddler girls. While she balanced the motherly/sisterly role with Arm, Hansa, Nalin, and Preeda, she sees Tida and Priya as her daughters now. She doesn't have much interest in marriage or romance. A history of abuse partially plays into this, but it just isn't her thing. She likes being independent in that regard.

Hansa

Introduced: Chapter 22 of Progression, but versions of her character are also mentioned/included in The Masks Series, Lay Me Down to Sleep, and I Do (Not Understand What's Going On).

Age: 26

Profession: Horticulturist/Florist

Characteristics: Quiet, Non-judgmental, cautious, kind, carries a lot of trauma, but has been doing better

Importance: Arm's younger sister, Pol's love interest.

Origin: Roughly 18 months younger than Arm, Hansa was the person he was closest to growing up. In both this story and in 5, 3, 1, and On (although she had it even harder in 531). But in Progression, they grew up in an extremely abusive home where they were all traumatized, but the foster father took a particular interest in Hansa. Arm is protective of all of his sisters, but particularly her. She has been hurt a lot and struggled with her mental health when she was in her late teens to early twenties, but found solace in gardening and watching things bloom. She wants to find love, but the last time she tried went horribly. Other than Arm, she struggles with feeling comfortable around men. She was surprised to find Pol so friendly, fun, and approachable. Now that Arm and Tankhun are together and reach out more to spend time as a group, they often bring Pol. She actually looks forward to seeing him.

Nalin

Introduced in: Chapter 22 of Progression, but versions of her character are also mentioned/included in The Masks Series, Lay Me Down to Sleep, and I Do (Not Understand What's Going On).

Age: 20

Profession: Robotics Major, student librarian at university library

Characteristics: Highly intelligent, quick witted, smooth, tech-savvy, a romantic deep down.

Importance: Arm's younger sister, Macau's love interest.

Origin: Basically a mini female Arm, but more charismatic. Her main interests lie in further integrating and advancing robotics when it comes to the medical field and to help those living with disabilities live more freely and comfortably in their day to day lives. While she works hard and is a top student at her university, she is occasionally known to have fun. She did meet Macau at a party and had a night with him that felt magical. Is he an idiot for dropping his phone into a grate? Yes. Did she hold a grudge so she wouldn't feel sadness and rejection? Yes. But that's cleared up now, and they have been talking multiple times a day since her brother's party. She doesn't know if Arm will be thrilled about her potentially dating his boyfriend's cousin, and she loves and looks up to her older brother so much. But she likes Macau, so...🤷🏻‍♀️

Preeda

Introduced in: Chapter 22 of Progression, but versions of her character are also mentioned/included in The Masks Series, Lay Me Down to Sleep, and I Do (Not Understand What's Going On).

Age: 18 going on 19

Profession: Gap year. Looking into colleges, having fun until then.

Characteristics: confident, flirtatious, indecisive, attention seeking, challenging, family-oriented.

Importance: Arm's youngest sister

Origin: The youngest of Arm's foster siblings. Despite being the youngest when removed from their abusive situation, she witnessed a lot, which has caused certain rebellions, impulses, and avoidances in her. Her family worries, but keeps communication open. This helps, because she feels free and happy to talk with her siblings and share things with them. Came out as a lesbian at 15 and never looked back. Wishes Arm were more flamboyant and obvious in his own gay-leaning tendencies, so she's glad he's dating Tankhun, who is fabulous.

OK. Firstly, some things about Helen from my universe :

Helen Otis was born on the 1st of October, 1980, in Wisconsin in a small town.

His parents were rich and popular around the area, but manipulative and narcissistic fucks ( mostly... kind of, you'll see ), who decided to treat him like a girl until the age of 7.

The mom and dad were gaslight, gatekeep, but no girlboss.

Helen had a huge identity crisis in his younger years ( and later- ), because of this. And everything else.

The reason why his parents didn't choose to adopt or have another child is, because his mother's health took a sharp decline right after birthing him.

His parents really wanted a biological daughter, but due to the situation and even after visiting dozens of doctors, Ms Otis wasn't able to have anymore children.

Either this or die.

So they decided to raise his son as a girl and named him Helen.

As I said, until the age of 7, because his neighbours were growing suspicious of the situation by a thousand.

After that they tried to change their lifestyle and treat him like a boy, but Helen already was showing signs of lacking some emotions and morals.

Helen had ( and still has ) zero shit how to express his emotions properly.

But he's much better now than when he was a kid.

During his years in junior school he managed to make one friend named Phil, who was killed later by his alcoholic mother by being thrown over the bridge near their town.

Phil's mother went to jail as there was a witness btw-

Hel continued to stay aside from other kids, because of them making fun of his name and his feminine traits.

Unfortunately, his mother passed away a few months after Phil's death, because of a heart attack.

Yeah, Helen had it rough, but surprisingly his father was a decent parent. ( If we don't count the damn ' pretending his son was a girl ' stage- )

But shit hit the fan, when Ban was transfered to Helen's school and the physical bullying started.

Technically Ban was older than Hel and wasn't really in his class, but he loved to terrorise the lonely kids.

Helen would come back home with bruises and one time with a broken nose.

Mr Otis did try to report this straight to the police, but unfortunately for them... Ban's stepparents had the whole police department in their pocket.

Soooo yeah, even tho Helen and his father were from a rich family, it didn't matter. It was a dead end.

Corrupted system and everything-

But Hel wasn't going to be alone forever.

In 1992, a year later after Ban's arrival, four other people were transfered to his school ( one of them in his class ) all the way from Japan.

Helen learned, that they are Ban's siblings, and his blood ran cold.

He thought, that they were gonna be as bad as their brother.

Oh boy, how wrong he was.

These four were the TOTAL OPPOSITE of Ban.

And after he was saved by them from another one of Ban's bullyings... well...

You know the meme of the extrovert yoinking the introvert in a bear hug and saying : " You're my friend now! " ?

Yup, that's exactly what happened.

One in particular was attached to him like a koala, whenever they were together.

The names of the four idiots were Keiko (18 years old, the oldest sibling), Michael (16 years old), Victor (11-12 years old) and Yui (10 years old).

The Hasegawa siblings never judged him.

That one in particular, that I was talking about, was Yui.

Yui defended Helen from Ban and even ended once with a broken hand, which caused Hel to faint from worrying so much.

Basically these two were around each other 24/7 like they were glued together.

You could never see one without the other.

The friend group eventually grew bigger.

New people joined in like Judy, Tom, Susan, Jimmy, May, Sonnie, Jonathan, Emra, Riv and one interesting non-human individual (Hobo Heart-).

( If you want to know more about these idiots and how tf they became part of the group, just tell me. Also yes, Judy has more lore in my universe. )

So long story short : Helen at that time had a huge friend circle and even his father liked the group. (Despite half of them being the embodiment of a living tornado.)

That was all until an incident with a huge forest fire, which happened in April of 1994.

The Hasegawa siblings vanished without a trace in it, including Sonnie and Riv.

Having his best friend being ripped from him and other of his friends disappearing broke Helen mentally a lot.

His father tried to comfort his kid, but Helen's brain was blank and not responding, even when his remaining friends tried to speak to him.

The snowball slowly turned into an avalanche, when Tom framed him for stealing Judy's watch.

Judy, the lesbian queen (Yes, Judy here is a lesbian.), was skeptical about the whole situation with the watch (because she's smarter here-) , but unfortunately Ban's bullying upped to a 1000 and the avalanche turned into a huge armagedon. Maggie joined Ban in this too.

And after Tom's accidental death, when he confessed on the rooftops of the school, that he was the one behind the watch thingy.... Helen snapped completely.

And you know what that means.

The massacre on 31st of October, 1994, when Helen killed 13 people and injured 5 others at one party held by one of his classmates.

How did he hurt so many people? His family had a few guns, so he took one of them, reloaded it and took a baseball bat with nails in it to bash some heads.

Susan, Jimmy, Jonathan, Riv, Emra and May weren't at the party, because they moved away in different states 4 months after the huge forest fire incident. Hobo vanished too not long after the fire incident too.

Judy was critically injured in the massacre, along with Ban and Maggie.

Helen was put in a mental hospital after the court trial.

He stayed there for 4 years and was released, because of signs, that he was getting better.

But we all know he wasn't the same after all of this shitshow.

He continued to live with his father until 2000, when he moved away from his hometown to Milwaukee.

You know? In this story his father is very tolerant of his son's behavior. (Man, you're not always supposed to be on his side-)

Helen found out, that he was agender and he didn't care about the gender, when dating somebody... Motherfucker still hadn't dated anybody...yet.

In 2002 and 2003 Helen committed a few murders, the grotesque corpses of the victims portraited in poses like Michelangelo statues, flowers and organs put around them, in the hands or mouths.

The only victim, that didn't have their guts ripped away and only had knife carvings onto the skin like flower markings on a painting, was...

You guessed it. Judy.

Helen couldn't do the same thing to her, because she actually defended him against Ban.

So he killed her as quickly as possible and carved the patterns onto her skin, leaving her in the woods.

(Jud comes back later as a demon, but that's a story for another time-)

Unfortunately for Hel, the police caught a track of him rather quickly and he was forced to flee deep into the woods.

Since then the police hasn't been able to catch him, although there were a few sightings of him here and there around Wisconsin and rumors about somebody helping him to blend again with society.
