underneath those clothes Phillip is surprisingly buff as he had he had to stay in shape to stay physically strong during his time in the Boiling Isles to defend himself from beasts or fights he got into and over time gained a couple of scars on his harden body from those situations some old some new and some when he was fighting off his monster form in order to keep it control of it. Camila and the teens accidentally see this and ask about Phillip says that this from the dark nasty side of the Isles they never really saw/knew with a realization how dangerous another world could be when your on your own like Phillip was. when Camila lightly touches one Philip would tense up a bit as some where from very bad experiences from how the people of the boiling isles can be awful bullies to humans.

She didn't mean to make him tense up like that and remind him of his rough time on the Isles.

My apologies for the rush! This is an unfinished piece that I started in the beginning of the summer, when I was still getting accustomed to digital art (I was still learning about how to render and blend colors more gently). I got a little lazy, so forgive the crappy anatomy XD

This was inspired off of @frigidfries’s art, I immediately thought of how much Belos thinks of himself as a martyr in his own delusions . The stained glass window, depicting him as a deity and God in front of the entire Isles, is so hypocritical once the viewer can see his true intentions, which would repulse even a true monster.

(I remember listening to “Hell’s Comin’ with me” by Poor Man’s Poison on repeat while drawing this, that’s where I got the title-)
