my old hexsquad headcanon is that Darius called Raeda “Songbird” for obvious reasons and embarrassed the fuck out of the two of them every chance he got.

Darius and Eda made it a point to annoy the hell out of Lilith too. One time Lilith turned their abominations against them and hunted them down for the rest of the school day. “Can’t we hide in the secret halls?!” “No! Raine is practicing in there! Also, she knows about them and that’s where she’d check first if she realizes we’re missing.”

Belos Redemption AU headcanon Belos knows perfectly well how to survive in the forest. He lived like this for over three hundred years while he was preparing to take over the Boiling Isles. It's much safer in the human realm, so he remembers the old days with nostalgia. Sometimes he runs off into the woods and Luz and his friends have to look for him. Sometimes they find him roasting the meat of some animal on a fire, sometimes they find a place where he has arranged a place for himself to sleep and just wait until he comes. Once they saw Belos hunting in the monster form. And one day he gave Hunter a high-quality hoodie made of wolf skin.

it's sound weird, but i have headcanon that Hunter didn't go hexside, because he too old to shool(according to my feelings, at the end of the he is 16-17 y.o (except for the post-credits scene), and at that age it is already too late to go to school):p

i mean, well- in my opinion he rather certainly did go to hexside, since one of the things he'd said during his TTT monologue was "i'd like to attend hexside like a normal student and play flyer derby with my friends" and all of his "wishes" were supposed to sort of foreshadow his goals and his future (carving palismen, studying wild magic, etc etc) so i feel like it's safe to say he succeeded in becoming a hexside student as well. we also know he attended grom with the rest of his friend group, and like- since he's 16 before the timeskip (no canon certainty whether he's recently turned 16 or is going on 17 already though, but like... around 16 canonically) that means he'd get at least 1 year of school, but most likely 2+.

my personal headcanon is that he went to hexside for around 2 years (full or not quite, depending on when the school year starts in the boiling isles and how long it lasts; possibly even 3), and during that time he picked up a mentorship/apprenticeship at del's palisman carving shop, and after he graduated from hexside he started carving palismen professionally with the clawthornes (i like to think that he also takes some courses at eda's wild magic university in his spare time, simply cuz . funny uni hexsquad shenanigans)

It's unexpectedly fun to draw Odalia and Darius fighting over Alador

Kikimora constantly has "drop kick me" and "stinky" and "breath if you like me" etc type notes on her back and it's never explained until season 2 when we see the Golden Guard causally walk by her being his normal annoying self (affectionate) and pats her on the back before he walks away whistling, and when Kiki turns around we see the "trip me" note. Kiki is too distracted by mentally murdering Hunter for the 728th time to notice the pat on the back let alone a note

One of the reasons that Kikimora hates Luz so much is that she broke the unspoken rule of hysterically laughing when she first saw the notes

The coven scouts have become accustomed to this, they take daily bets on what the notes will say

Coincidentally someone (Kiki. She has no evidence that he's the one who plants the notes but she can feel it in her soul) draws fake mustaches and faces on Hunter's GG mask whenever he takes it off. No one ever mentions it and he's too sleep deprived to notice
