MEOW IN STRAITS (or THE TROUBLED MEOW)

been a year

since like an arrow flung into the night

the tailing wind so strong

a tree fell

stood there waiting so long

that the waterhole dried up

her food invaded by ants

upon hearing a meow

I forget the count of the times

how I rushed to the door stark naked

all fluff, back from some skirmish

only to bump into darkness

my grandkids, my daughter

stroke only emptiness now

and caress the past

thanks to her I learned meowese

but its script she kept to herself

so I only know how to speak to one

the tree

sprouted anew

where it broke, from the gash

when it grows into a trunk someday

leaves that meow

will clutter its branches

birds will perch and park

I wrote this poem without my wife knowing

I know how hard she'll weep

at every read.

Enerji Piyasası Düzenleme Kurumu (EPDK)’nun farklılaştırılmış akaryakıt ürünlerinin istasyonlarda aynı fiyata satılmasına ilişkin Kurul kararı 15 Mayıs (BUGÜN) itibariyle yürürlüğe girdi.

ANKARA (İGFA) – EPDK’nın kararına göre, akaryakıt istasyonlarında yapılan satışlarda, farklılaştırılmış olsun veya olmasın aynı tür akaryakıt için fiyat farkı uygulanmayacak.

Akaryakıt istasyonlarında “95 oktan benzin ve dizel, ultra force (ultra kuvvet), power (güçlü), fuelsave (yakıt tasarruflu), VMax, VPro” gibi ifadelerle farklı fiyatlarla ürün satışı yapılmayacak.

Yapılan açıklamada, dağıtıcı lisansı sahiplerinin farklılaştırılmış akaryakıt satışına devam edebileceği ancak bu özelliklerin fiyatı değiştirmeyeceği belirtildi.

Rapper 60 East's My Hometown album is out. The Ontario, California native with the East Coast-inspired flow has been toiling on the hip-hop underground for over a decade. He is also the founder of the Happiness Of Pursuit Festival of hip-hop which is now in its fifth year. At the end of  2023, he released the Krate Killers EP. On My Hometown, he reveals his journey as an independent artist, fatherhood, and a love of his birthplace. Khrysis, Eric G., and Sndtrak, all from 9th Wonder's Style Council production crew supply MH with boom-bap beats that are cinematic and soulful.  Sa-Roc, Blu, and DJ Rhettmatic are a few of the guests who show up on the album. 60 East's '90s hip-hop influence is heard in his Notorious B.I.G.-type cadences most evident on songs like "Freeway" and "What's My Name." The emulation ends there and 60 East chucks the misogyny, guns, and streetlife tropes. "Soul Fly" featuring Blu, Sa-Roc, and Stephanie Soul has the patina of Sylvia Striplin's woozy '80s R&B. The strings and neat tom-toms make good on creating a cozy posse cut. "Out The Inland" featuring Oktane, Trizz, and Sly has a similar undisturbed vibe led by a Flamenco guitar strum and harp that holds their verses together. 60  East's My Hometown represents some of the best elements of the Golden Era with a stellar crew.
