Caranthir the Dark
Red Spider Lily | Lycoris radiata — A poisonous flower that traditionally blooms in autumn and ties to themes like death, bittersweet love, abandonment, and final farewells.
In historic Japan these flowers were planted around graves in order to keep wild animals away. Due to the deep crimson coloring of its petals the flower was soon believed to draw in the blood of the dead bodies beneath, earning it the epithets "Ghost Flower" and "Corpse Flower".

voicemails lee heeseung leaves you while he’s on tour — established relationship, fluff, tad of angst
HEESEUNG | jay | jake | sunghoon | sunoo | jungwon | ni-ki
one. good morning, my baby. i just woke up, and i immediately went to call you but i might’ve forgotten it’s like 2am for you right now. i hope you’re sleeping well. call me when you get this? i’ll make time for you. just… need to hear your voice. miss you so much.
two. i wish you were here. i think everything would be infinitely better if you were just here and traveling with me. sunghoon tripped over nothing yesterday, and it made all of us laugh. and, for some reason, i was looking for you. it was like i could hear you laughing too. i just know you would’ve found it funny too.
three. hey, angel. i can’t sleep so i thought i would call you. hearing your voice always helps me sleep better, but you must be busy. hmm, what should i tell you? jake’s already sleeping on his side. can you hear him snoring? (laughing quietly) you always snore like this too. god, i miss you. i can’t wait to hug you when i get back.
four. i think about kissing you everyday.
five. i bumped into jeongin backstage at kcon today! we were performing on the same day, and he asked me how you were and that he misses hanging out. just thought i should relay the message. we should all hang again soon when we come back. you always did beat him in mario kart. ah, it was nice to talk to someone i knew aside from the boys.
six. angel? i know you’re mad at me, and you might not be listening to this right now but i really am sorry. i’m sorry for ending the call like that. that was unfair to you. i’m sorry, please call me back. let’s talk this out, okay? i don’t think i can go on stage well knowing you’re upset with me, knowing you might be crying because of me. please call me. i love you. i’m sending you your favorite flowers.
seven. baby, hi. just wanted to leave you a little message to wake up to. oh! i ordered room service today. instead of ramen, i got your favorite because it reminded me of you when i saw it. it was like having a piece of you here with me. i’m kind of embarrassed to admit that when it arrived, i had looked for you thinking you ordered it for yourself. ah, i can already hear you teasing me. goodnight baby.
eight. i saw the photos you sent me earlier! god, i love you. you’re my good luck charm, did you know? i’ll call you after this performance! i love you.
nine. i miss you so much it’s driving me crazy.
ten. i’ll see you in 10 days. please wait for me.

BOUND, c.springer
chap.7 | fighting, drinking, arguing, language | chap.6
"these was supposed to be yours yesterday but... you know how that went."
connie said, standing at your door with a bouquet of pink flowers and chocolates. you softly smiled and bit your lip, grabbing the big bouquet and chocolates from him. he then looked at your arm.
"these the same type of roses i tattooed on your arm that night."
you tilted your head. "thank you. really. this the second time you saw me lookin a mess though." you laughed a little.
referring to the bonnet you had on your head and the oversized t-shirt you had on. connie shook his head, "nah, you look good." he laughed. "them was for your birthday though... your third birthday present."
"you funny." you looked at the flowers before looking at him. "you heard from...?"
"he saw my message, he know wassup." connie waved the air before putting his hands back in his pockets. ever since he stayed at your house last night, he never got the feeling to stay away.
you had some kind of hold on him, and it was odd.
"but yeah..." he said after a small silence filled the space between the both of you. "if you feel good enough, eren havin a party at his house tonight. tryna see if you going." he looked at you.
you hummed. "ill let you know." you nodded.
"without my number?" connie frowned playfully. you rolled your eyes with a smile. "i guess you found a way." you mumbled, taking his phone and putting your number in it. "just text me and remind me about it tonight." you said, passing him his phone back.
"i gotchu." connie said, turning to leave. he paused in his steps and turned back around, looking at your lips.
you exhaled, walking closer to him and giving him a peck on the lips. "there." you said, softly pushing him out of your doorway and shutting it behind him.
you walked back towards your stairs and in your room, placing the flowers in an empty vase. "ill put water in you later." you mumbled, sitting on the end of your bed and checking your phone, which you hadn't checked all night.
you had calls and texts from sasha, her asking where you were and if you were getting "fucked."
"what?" you frowned.
"you got fucked last night, i already know. i told mikasa you were either at home slumped or getting fucked. and since you answered, i wanna know who it was, why, and how it was." she said on the other line, making you hum.
"i didnt get fucked by anybody last night." what a liar you are.
"yeah yeah, girl cut the bullshit. i wanna know every detail." she looked at the camera before looking back up and what seemed like her tv.
"okay ill tell you, but sasha dont make a big deal out of it 'cus it was literally nothing." liar.
"i literally wont, just tell me." sasha looked back at the camera.
"so i was with connie-"
"bingo! i just fucking knew it! yknow, i wondered why i couldn't find you and connie after i found ony and i suspected you two were somewhere, and he was beating them doonies down." sasha pointed at the camera, making you roll your eyes.
"alright, whatever. you goin to erens party tonight?" you rubbed your forehead and closed your eyes.
"yeah, and youre going too. you woke up so late, the parties already in three hours." sasha mumbled like it was nothing. "what?" you said in disbelief, looking at the time on your phone.
it was 5 oclock. you really did get put to sleep.
"okay sash, im finna take a shower, dont worry bout picking me up tonight, ill just drive myself. ion plan on gettin wasted no more." you explained, standing up and going towards your bathroom.
"okay girl, love you, bye." she said before quickly hanging up. you put your phone on the bathroom counter before turning your water on and taking a long, steamy, shower.
you really werent in the mood for another party, and you really didnt feel like going out tonight again.
your back was aching, your legs were on the verge of being sore, all because of connie. you didnt even stay out long enough last night to have sore legs from the club, so you knew he was the cause.
but parties were different from clubs. theres was more fighting, drinking, arguing, everything. especially drama.
as you redid your fresh face, applying light makeup, redoing your hair and curling it, and putting your outfit on, you checked the time once again. 7:43pm.
if anything you were gonna be late instead of early due to the sheer amount of people that would crowd the house, even minutes before the official party started.
you grabbed your things, heading out of your house. as you started your car, smacking your lips at the fact that it was cold outside, and you just mindlessly decided to wear a small skirt.
you pulled out of your driveway after starting your music, driving down your neighborhood, pulling your mirror down to make sure your hair looked at least decent after replacing some of the tracks. "damn connie." you shook your head, pushing your mirror back up.
your music got interrupted by a phone call, you glance at your phone, not even looking at the contact before hitting answer. "yeah?" you said, putting your phone in the cup holder.
"wassupppp."
you rolled your eyes, "yes im going connie." you said, taking a turn down erens neighborhood. "well you late." connie said boredly on the other end. "why you wearin that tiny ass skirt?"
you frowned, picking up your phone and looking, not even realizing you were on factime. "why you lookin?" you smiled, sitting your phone in your lap. connie clicked his tongue. "watch yo mouth." he said, walking through the party, at least that's what it looked like.
as you pulled up on the side of the road near erens house, you turned your car off and took your seatbelt off, looking at your phone as you got out of the car. "ima see you in here right?" you walked up to the house, already seeing people on the porch and on the side of the house.
"i hope not." connie mumbled, smiling to see if you found his joke funny.
you hung up.
"not in the mood." you mumbled, opening the door and letting yourself, trying to push past everyone and find where eren and the rest of them were.
"y/nnnn!" sasha jumped up, along with mikasa, hugging you. "i heard about you" mikasa whispered in your ear. you pulled away and frowned at sasha. "dont ask me bout shit else." you pointed at her.
"ight, ight, fuck the kumbaya. wassup y/n." ony dapped you up. "hey ony." you smiled. "damn we cant get no hey?" eren frowned, holding his arms out, referring to him and armin. "can you give me time to speak? hey armin." you waved at armin.
you sat down beside connie, who was looking around the party the whole time. you nudged him a little, the rest of the group babbling about random things.
"you remember what i said right?" you looked at him as he continued looking away.
"bout reiner? yeah, ian worried bout that no mo'." he shrugged, taking a sip from whatever was in his styrofoam cup. your eyes rested on him, you obviously not believing him. connie looked at you and shrugged again. "i swear im not gon touch him." he said, looking you in the eye.
you pursed your lips together before standing up. "sash, mika, come with me, im bouta go get a margarita." you said, making your way to the kitchen and opening the cooler. "girl, why connie lookin so tense?" mikasa frowned, grabbing one after you. you slowly shook your head, finally deciding to tell them about what happened.
"he mad about something that happened between me and reiner. he just got aggressive and grabbed my wrist. connie saw the bruise and i told him not to do nothing 'cus i don't want him to get involved, but he stubborn." you shook your head, taking a sip from your margarita.
mikasa and sasha frowned. "y/n, you wasn't thinking on tellin us about this?" mikasa looked at your wrist. the bruise only faded a little. you looked at the ceiling with a groan. "i don't wanna involve nobody." you mumbled.
you really didn't understand why they wanted to know. yeah, he did put his hands on you, and if anything, you should've told the whole group, knowing they'd jump his ass in a heartbeat.
but you were so damn scared of reiner, you didn't know what he'd do if he caught you by yourself.
"what the fuck he do that for?" sasha squinted. "he thought somethin' was going on between me and connie 'cus hes a fuckin idiot."
"oh yeah, connie needa whoop his ass." mikasa glanced back at where connie and everyone else was. "i know." your lips formed a line, your eyes roaming around the room.
speak of the devil.
they landed right on reiner, who was walking through the crowd. your eyes widened and they went straight to connie. "i know that aint the muh'fucka right there!" sasha pointed. "shit." your eyebrows furrowed.
mikasa looked at you, straight in the eyes.
"y/n. reiner put his hands on you. you don't have a choice but to let connie beat his ass."
you were hesitant.
if you did let that happen, that could mean reiner would target you the most. but if it didnt happen, youd have to hide whatever you and connie had going on.
you didn't wanna hide anything. no, you didn't have to hide anything. you're not a child, you do whatever you wanna do, you fight back whenever you wanna fight.
but seems like before you could even give connie the permission to do anything, he beat you to it. you heard screaming around the spot you'd just left. you, sasha, and mikasa running over and through the crowd to see what was happening.
to your surprise, not only connie was throwing punches, but ony, and eren too. armin recording everything while laughing. with your lips parted and your eyes widened, you walked over to the other side to get a better view of what was happening to reiner and stood there, staring down at him.
his nose leaking, and bruises forming around different parts of his face.
he was trying his best to fight back but getting jumped by three strong guys wasn't the easiest trap to get out of.
"you like puttin yo hands on females? you a bitch." connie said as everyone else got pulled off of him. "dumb ass nigga." ony mumbled, aggressively fixing his clothes as some of his other homeboys pulled him outside to calm down.
"you a whole weirdo ass bitch! jumping one person 'cus you cant fight for yo damn self!" you saw historia run up to reiner, rushing to help him up.
she was always the main problem in your relationship, but just like connie defended you, you were gonna defend him.
"he shoulda never put his damn hands on me, if you got a problem we can take this shit outside too, or nah?" you raised your eyebrows, taking your phone from the side of your skirt to give it to sasha or mikasa, somebody nearby.
you might've been scared of reiner, but you wasn't scared of no little ass girl, or no girl in general.
historia frowned at you before looking at reiner. "whoop her ass." reiner mumbled to historia. that was your cue.
"come on man, ion got no time to waste on yo ass. i can get this over with quick." you shook your head, rushing outside and to your car, grabbing sweatpants from your backseat and throwing them over your skirt.
as everyone had their phones out, you got in the middle of the circle, mikasa and sasha standing behind you to make sure ymir or annie didn't jump in. you pulled your sweatpants up, rolling them up as adrenaline rushed through your body.
as mikasa tied your hair up, she eyed the rest of historias friends. you had no idea where connie was, nor were you worried about it.
"come on y/n." eren mumbled, his hands on his knees as he leaned over, waiting for you and historia to get your round in.
as she stepped in the middle of the circle, her minions screaming for her and most people screaming for you. you posted up, getting your hands ready, as you both went in a circle waiting for someone to swing first, you wasted no time to start throwing straight punches, no hair pulling, no pulling in general.
"whoop her ass y/n, you know what to do! yeah!" sasha cheered you on over the amount of people yelling.
historia was throwing punches, deciding to grab your hair and hold your head down, you, automatically mirroring her actions and pulling her to the side of you, making her trip over her own feet, pulling you down with her.
when you opened your eyes, you saw blood leaking down her face, just like reiner. she tried to kick you off of her, as you felt somebody grab your shoulders, you got more pissed by the seconds.
"let my hair go dumb bitch!" you yelled, whoever was grabbing your shoulders let go and you felt people crowd more around you, the screaming getting louder.
"ight, come on, come on." connie mumbled, grabbing you by your waist, trying to pull you off of historia, someone doing the same to her. but you didn't let go, still swinging hard licks, hitting her in her head and forehead.
"let go, y/n come on." connie frowned, trying his best to pull you away, as he turned his back towards historia, you still had a good grip on her hair. finally deciding to let go, and bring a chunk of her hair with you, you frowned, trying to make your way out of connies arms while yelling violent nothings.
"that bitch know to never fuck wit' me, ion even know why she tried it! she should know bout me!" you yelled, getting dragged away. "shut up bitch, you mad cus reiner finally found the one!" you saw her yelling.
"bitch you wanted beef bout a nigga that be bussin nut and knots in yo mouth, shut up bitch!"
"hush, hush, hush, you drunk. come on." connie mumbled, dragging you towards your car, continuing to hold you. "all three of yall got it out, come on." connie put his hand over your mouth to make you shut up.
you frowned up at him before looking at the ground.
"you good, just calm down. ight? i gotchu." connie mumbled, glancing back at a pissed off eren, storming towards his house.
"he ain't gon hurt you no mo', ight? just get in the car and calm down." connie mumbled. "i wanna go back in the house, ian drunk yet." you muttered, looking back at the house.
"you tryna fight, so no. get in the car bruh." connie looked back again, seeing historias small group leave the house.
"im not gon do nothing to the bitch, ima let her be mad bout a nigga." you mumbled. "i just wanna get drunk." you muttered.
connie looked at you for a few seconds before sighing, slowly nodding. "ima stay for a few mo minutes, but im goin home soon. gotta calm myself down." he muttered, grabbing your hand and leading you back towards the house.
you huffed. "okay."

Pollen and Potions: Bee-men x Afab!reader
PART FOUR
So I know I said this part would have smut but it would just mess with the pacing, so the whole next section is where you will find your spice. This part is a little shorter for that reason. Anyway, I hope you like!
When you woke up, you felt incredibly warm. Your legs were tangled up with… someone elses? You would say it was someone else but human skin didn’t feel like this. It was firm and a bit fuzzy, but not like hair. Your nose was being tickled by… fur? Whatever it was smelled amazing.
You recognized this scent. You opened your eyes to Lyith’s round, sleeping face. His impossibly big eyes were closed, revealing his long blonde lashes. His expression was serene, and a bit of drool had escaped his half open mouth. Your sleep-addled brain vibrated with excitement. He was so cute you could just kiss him…
Nope! Awake brain was working now, bringing some clarity to your head. Lyith and Rena had made a habit of covering your face in kisses but it had all been platonic. Excessive affection was a Bee-men trait. Probably? You thought back to yesterday, when he had kissed you and you had kissed him… was that truly platonic?
There was a heat in your stomach, butterflies whenever he would hang off of you or tease… A part of you wanted to face these feelings but you weren’t ready yet. After all, how could a bee-men be with a human? You had heard of monster-human relations being something that could happen, but was their species even compatible with you? Was there a future there?
“You're thinking awfully hard for 8 in the morning.” Lyith breathed next to you.
Your awareness returned to you, and you were very cognizant of the fact that he had been holding you in his sleep. You pulled yourself back a bit so you couldn’t feel his breath on your face. He narrowed his eyes and his lip jutted out. A childish but cute pattern of his.
“W-What are you doing in my house?”
His mouth twitched. “You are a sick person. You should have someone to look after you. I’m glad though, you only slept for a day this time.”
You looked at him, eyes squinting, “Are you okay though? Don’t you need to be at the hive for your… bee duties?”
Lyith sputtered at you, his body rocking with laughter. “And tell me, what are “bee duties”, Little witch?”
Your cheeks heated and you sat up, crossing arms over your chest.
“I just wanted to make sure you wouldn’t be in trouble, is all. What exactly is your duty in the hive anyway?”
Lyith stared up at you under his long lashes. “I am a forager. A scholar. An ambassador who goes to human town to get our supplies. Actually..”
He brought himself up and stretched out his wings. They seemed sturdy enough not to get too bothered by him laying on them all night.
“.. I used to know your grandmother. She used to let me forager her garden. Of course, she was a lot more sparing with her magic, so it was nothing like what you do.” He gave you a pointed look, “But she taught me how to speak human. An interesting person, your grandmother. We used to buy seeds for flower monsters off her. She must have had quite a life.”
You stared at him in surprise. Your grandmother had always been somewhat of a stereotypical grandmother. She’d spoil you and laugh at your jokes, leave little candies in your pocket when you weren’t looking. You had never imagined her to be the type of person to deal with Flower Monsters of all things. It also explained why Lyith seemed so trusting of you, off the bat.
“Hey Lyith?” You breathed out, trying not to think about how your legs were still touching.
“Yes?”
“Do you want some breakfast?”
***
After that, you saw Lyith almost everyday. He made a point of stopping to talk to you every time he visited your garden. Once a week he would take you to see Rena and you would work more magic over the plants. As the spring progressed into summer, the flowers changed. You learned that your magic, while creating magical nectar, only stayed within the plant and not the soil. You were right in your worry that a different approach was needed.
You met a lot more of the hive, as on their days off, some Bee-men would come and watch you work on the flowers. Not all of them were able to speak human, but they communicated their gratitude through sharing their emotions. As you experienced this more and more, you started to pick up on what could even be counted as them asking you questions. You’d try to answer in kind, putting a hand on their arm or shoulder and trying to push images or feelings at them. This worked only half the time, but when it did, the Be-men would look so pleased they would dance.
Rena, had always seemed a bit jealous by this.
“Why don’t you speak to us like that? We speak human for your convenience you know. Aren’t I closer to you then some random creature?”
“Don’t call your hive mates ' creature’, that's rude.”
Rena would get up in your face, throwing her arms around your shoulders and touch her nose to yours. In your mind you would feel her jealousy. A possessiveness that you couldn’t help but feel a little giddy about. You tried to straighten out your feelings, giving her a kiss on the cheek. Then, you’d try to project some calm, warm energy at her. She just looked at you, sighing.
“You humans are a lot more dense than I thought.”
Then she’d buzz off to deliver her nectar to the hive, leaving you behind in the company of her Hive mates. Lyith and Rena had been giving you more space lately when it came to your magic. You’d take more breaks, and often were given time to socialize. The Bee-mens youngest hive mate, Haven had grown especially fond of your company recently. He was your friend in gossip.
Rena and Lyith had a habit of glossing over the issues of the hive, but Haven was very different. He would answer any question you could think of. You had learned that Rena and Lyith were actually pretty high up there in the social hierarchy, as they were both scholars who taught the rest of the hive in their free time.
He was also very honest about the struggles of the hive.
“It's been about two decades since the last Queen died. We were having some issues with ambassadors from hives from the northern hive when a squirmish broke out. A lot of Bee-men died that day. Several of the Queen's favorite drones passed on and upon hearing the news her heart gave out.”
“Immediately? She wasn’t sick?”
“Do humans get sick before they die of heartbreak? For us it is impossible. Our bonds are our happiness. Without each other, our home isn’t a home, but an empty structure…” Haven trailed off, his expression wistful.
“But what was the squirmish about? I thought Bee-men were a friendly species.”
“You see, the two Queens had been sisters. The Northern Queen never liked our late matriarch and had been up to some mischief. She had convinced the Bunny Hybrids and the werewolves to move out of our territory. Eventually, the flower monsters left as well, and all the magic in the area just… disappeared. And Queens usually travel and make their own hives, or pick up abandoned ones. We’ve been waiting for so long!”
“Thats got to be hard. I mean, your guyses population can’t grow right?”
Haven looked at you weird.
“It’s more than that! Our Queens Pheromones give our magic structure! Without a Queen our magic grows weak and it's harder to communicate! Even making our honey properly becomes difficult because our grasp of our magic slips. We are so lucky we found you, little witch! Your magic is so easy to convert. I told you, you are a blessing!”
“But if you guys haven't been able to make honey properly for a while, how have you survived?”
“We haven’t. It's like your mana sickness. Sometimes our magic just eats us up.” You stared at Haven, your stomach turning. Haven looked at you sadly. “You should know this. Your Lyith and Rena have been sheltering you way too much. You're basically part of the hive at this point.”
You reached forward and hugged Haven. He trilled happily.
“Honestly it could be so much worse!”
You spent the rest of the day in silence. You had known they were starving, but you hadn’t realized how badly. Something else didn’t sit right with you either. The fact that the monster races had left their territory had been something that had been bothering you. That had to be the reason why the soil wasn’t absorbing magic, right? That was the only thing that had changed?
Then it hit you. What was soil? It was broken down waste. No Monsters. No decay. No shit. And how did the Bee-men manage their own waste anyway? Could you do something with this? Could it really be that simple?
You got so excited to tell Rena about it that it surprised you when you saw her at your door. Rena never made the trek to your house, saying that human civilization had a terrible smell to it. When you saw her face, she was crying.
“You have to come with me. Now.”
“Rena whats wrong, are you--”
“It's Lyith.”
All you could hear for a moment was the large thudding of your heart. Without another word you jumped into Rena’s arms and she held you, giving you a huge squeeze before buzzing off into the forest.

Birthday morning
Characters: Diluc x gender neutral!reader
Genre: None (modern and canon works fine)
Warnings: SFW, fluff, established relationship (Diluc and reader are married)
A/N: Happy birthday to my OG genshin husband <333 finally writing for genshin after playing this game for 4 freaking years LOL I am finally doing it!!! I hope you all like it as I slowly get back to the writing grind too <3
As the earth slowly woke up to the warm rays of the sun, the light shown through the windows, gently illuminating the bedroom and caressing the features of the man stirring beside you.
You watched his chest rise and fall slowly, you felt the hot air escape from his lips as he breathed. You gazed at his sleeping form, wondering what he was dreaming of, and if you were in it. You raised your hand and stroked away an unruly strand of flaming red hair about to tickle his eyelashes, and you continued watching him, wondering how lucky you were to have him beside you like this.
“For how long were you going to watch me?” a smooth velvet voice rumbled and you jumped in shock, not expecting him to wake up so soon, and clearly not expecting him to be aware of your stares. You didn’t know how long you had been staring at him too. Diluc let out a chuckle and snuggled deeper into the pillow, lacing an arm lazily across your waist to pull you closer.
“For how long were you awake?” you teased in return, smiling as you saw the corners of his lips twitch ever so slightly. You let out a warm breath and snuggled closer to him, placing your palm on his chest to feel his steady heartbeat.
“From the moment I felt you moving beside me.” your husband opened an eye slightly to look at you before placing a soft kiss on the tip of your nose. “It’s still early, sleep a little more.” it was indeed a lazy and slow morning, and as much as you wanted to continue lazing in bed with him, you knew you had to get up.
“Can’t do that, love, I have to start preparing your birthday feast,” you smiled and kissed his cheek, “you can sleep a little more though, you had a late night yesterday.” Pushing yourself up, you interlocked your fingers and stretched a little. Your husband lazily grabbed your wrist and pulled you back into his embrace.
“Stay in bed with me a little longer,” he nuzzled against your neck, his ruby eyes staring deep into yours. “I can’t sleep well without you.” you looked at his sleepy face and bit your lip, hiding the urge to giggle.
“Fine,” you relented, “but just five minutes, okay? There’s lots to do. I have to marinate the meat and prepare the drinks,” you turned away from him and faced the ceiling, mentally ticking off all the errands you had to do, “oh, I also have to pick up your birthday flowers. I have to pick up your coat, and I also have to meet Kaeya to take”—
—he decided to keep you quiet.
“Shhh, you’re too noisy,” Diluc muttered against your lips, giving you another kiss before you could retort. “Just forget about the celebration for a while and stay here with me.”
“Fine, fine, birthday boy.” you laughed and felt your husband pull you snugly against his chest once more. You remained in his embrace, counting the light freckles across his pretty face. “You’re lucky I love you.”
“You wouldn’t have married me if you didn’t love me.”
You had a cheeky response at the tip of your tongue, but you held those words back once you saw Diluc going back to sleep with a smile. You decided you weren’t going to tease him today, especially since it was his birthday. Kissing him softly on the lips, you whispered, “I love you, Diluc,” before slowly wiggling out of his embrace and quietly pushing yourself off the bed to get your day started.
“I love you, more…” a faint reply came as you saw your husband shifting around, finally hugging your pillow tightly before letting out a satisfied sigh. You kissed him on the forehead before leaving the bedroom, thinking to yourself that you were indeed the luckiest person alive to be married to him.

20 . . . alfons main story

— cw: written depiction of blood, near death experience (= suicide attempt), maybe vague misogyny? angst.
The next morning, I woke up to a familiar sense of unease.
(Wait, huh...?)
I was the only one on the bed.
To be fair, that was a given, as this was my room, but also for a reason beyond me, I couldn’t help but feel something was severely off.
(...I... I’m pretty sure I slept with someone yesterday... or that’s how it feels...)
(.........But, just who was that someone...?)
I racked my brain, but nobody came to mind — it was as though some haze was blocking the way.
Even as I looked at my body and around the bed, there was not even a single trace of anyone having been here in sight, with the bed so neat and clean.
But——
(This smell... what was it again...?)
The moment I started to move, a sweet fragrance wafted up my nose in passing.
(Just what is this... when I’m taking in this scent...)
[1] my heart feels painful.
[2] my body starts to throb.
[3] a flame lights in the depths of my heart. (+4 / +4)
(I really feel as though... a flame has lit itself in the depths of my heart.)
(I don’t even know what this is, and yet...)
It was a fragrance that resembled a flower soaked in the dew of night, one that could clear the mind and calm the heart——
...And I wanted that scent to wrap me in its gentle embrace, never to let me go.
—— Scene change; dining room ——
Kate: Good morning.
Roger: Hey, morning.
Roger was the only one sitting in the dining room.
Kate: Is everyone else out?
Roger: Yeah, Jude and Ellis got their usual jobs going on. And Liam and Harrison went to the cake shop together.
R: As for Victor and Will, they’re at the palace, and Elbie... well, he might be out cold somewhere around here, maybe.
Roger gave a general overview of everyone’s whereabouts as he bit into his bread.
Kate: Oh, and thank you for yesterday.
Roger: No need, I was also able to make some good progress with my research too. It’s like a give and take situation, yeah?
R: Besides that, are you doing okay? You were looking pretty pale yesterday.
Roger pushed a silver stand with toast on it, silently telling me to eat.
Kate: Yes, I feel better now, thank you...
(Wait a minute... just why did I feel so down in the first place though?)
I came to the realization that the events of yesterday seemed faint and vague.
(I remember I went with Roger yesterday afternoon to meet the family of someone who had held a bearer of the ‘Curse of the Mirror’ dear.)
(And then...)
Kate: Wait, just why was I so pale again...?
Roger: Huh? It was because the results of the investigation came up empty. I thought you knew?
R: Well, empty aside from the fact that a memento alone is not enough to be able to escape from the tragic fate of those with the ‘Curse of the Mirror,’ so that’s why.
Kate: ...Well, yes, but why was I so bent on finding a way to escape from the Mirror’s fate specifically——
Just then, my heart thumped loudly in my chest.
(Just what... is this feeling...?)
It was like my body was being burnt from the inside as an intense urgency rushed through me.
(I have to remember.)
(I have to——)
(Because it was surely something that I should not... or absolutely could not afford to forget.)
——...You truly are a fool, in every sense of the word, aren’t you.
There, I heard the voice of someone who had rooted himself in my mind.
——Alright, fine, I understand now. I admit my loss.
Whose voice was this?
——Let us put an end to this now.
And just who are you?
——“I have always loved you” — in my own way.
Kate: ...——!
K: It was Alfons...
Roger: Alfons? Who in the world is...
After a moment of silence, those eyes widened sharply.
Roger: ——Tch, blast it, he got us...!
Kate: You mean, he used his ability to...?
Roger: I imagine. He probably said something like, ‘When you wake up, you will forget everything about me.’
R: I was taking a nap down in the lab then. Damn... so he went and used his ability at that time, I bet.
Kate: I think it was the same for me... but that leaves the question of why he would...
(——Hold on. Could it be...)
‘Let us put an end to this now.’
(N-no, that can’t be true.)
The moment a certain possibility bubbled up in my mind, I shut it down.
After all, how would he even think of doing that for someone he didn’t even love? Snow would fall in summer first.
(But...——)
Elbert: ...Kate, Roger.
Kate: Lord Elbert...
Seeing Lord Elbert enter the dining room, I instinctively found myself walking toward him, pressing for an answer.
Kate: Do you remember Alfons...!?
Elbert: ...I do.
E: It seems that... Al’s ability has never lasted very long when he used it on me.
E: So that was why I was able to remember, the moment I saw the note he left behind.
(He left a note...?)
He handed me a slip of paper——and on it, the only words written were ‘Have a lovely rest of your life.’
Kate: ...No way...
That very message, ‘have a lovely rest of your life,’ rang with an air of a farewell for life.
Roger: Forget about a note, that sounds like an entire last will.
Kate: ...gh.
That possibility that I had shot down just before resurrected in my mind.
Elbert: ...There was a time I had asked Al what he would do were you to not give up on him.
(Give up... on him...)
—— Flashback ——
Alfons: Of course, to see whether you have given up on me.
—— End flashback ——
Elbert: And at the time, the only answer he gave me was that he would ‘cross that bridge when he got to it.’
E: But, when it comes to Al... I thought then that there was only one choice he would make.
Kate: And... what choice is that?
(Please.)
(I beg of you——please don’t say what I’m imagining.)
I stared at Lord Elbert, as if pleading with him.
Elbert: That before you get involved with Al further with your heart and body, pouring your time into him, and falling deeper in love with him...
E: ...he would disappear himself.
That one word — ‘disappear’ — was more than enough to freeze any thoughts in my mind, which had been in turmoil, breaking it down to shambles, just before.
(That’s right... from what I’ve seen, Alfons——was most definitely someone who would do that kind of thing.)
—— Flashback ——
Kate: And... are you telling me you would throw away your life just like that for a mere ‘plaything’?
Alfons: Exactly.
A: My own life holds about as much worth as a little tin soldier anyhow.
—— End flashback ——
Kate: ...We have to find him.
K: I can hardly bear for this love... to be what drives him this much to a corner...
Elbert: ...I had an inkling you would say that.
E: And I, too... normally, I would not chase after Al. But this time, I will make an exception.
E: ——After all, I would never let him disappear on his own like that.
(Is... is Lord Elbert angry...?)
I would expect anger from anyone other than him.
But, nonetheless, I still understood very well where he was coming from.
Truly, Alfons undermined the feelings of those around him.
Roger: But even so, someone who can slip by Victor’s eye doesn’t come around every day. It won’t be a walk in the park finding him.
William: ——If you are searching for Alfons, I’ve just received a report from Liam.
Kate: William!?
(I thought he went to the palace, so why... and besides...)
Kate: Wait, I thought Liam... didn’t he go to a cake shop?
William: As per the suggestion of the Privy Council, the purification club had set their sights on Alfons.
W: So that is why Liam and Harrison had been tailing him since yesterday.
Kate: I-is that so...?
William: That said, our goal was to follow the trail of those who were aiming for Alfons,
W: so that we could locate a central figure in the purification club and where he lived...
W: But this morning, Alfons didn’t bother to evade them. In fact, he allegedly even let them take him away.
(No way...)
William: And so I plan to go to the place he was taken to in order to pass judgment on the members of the purification club...
W: But as for you guys——
William’s eyes then meaningfully narrowed at us.
William: It seems there would be little point in asking what you guys want to do, am I right?
—— Alfons’ POV: a dilapidated mansion ——
Just wandering around the alleyways was enough for the purification club to take the bait,
as they took me to a room within a mansion that had clearly seen better years, where paintings with faded colors decorated the walls.
Dust could be seen everywhere, and I was sure if it were a lover they were taking to bed, such a room would be in sorely bad taste.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: I thought you would resist more.
Alfons: Then I’ll have you know that I do happen to be the type to simply be whisked away wherever any voice may call.
A: Oh, or was such information not disclosed to you when some certain higher-up handed you documents on us?
We were in a mansion that more so resembled ruins that people would rarely step foot in.
I sat down on a chair in the middle of the room, and several men surrounded me, all armed with a gun.
——I couldn’t ask for a more ideal situation.
Alfons: Would Lord Goa happen to be in attendance?
A: Well, I suppose not. Dirtying his hands from an evil syndicate would be sorely beneath him, I would imagine.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: I loathe that you call us as such. In fact, I should be calling you guys an ‘evil syndicate,’ no?
Parliamentary member with round glasses: After all, here you are, not bothering to even try to hide that suspicious power of yours, and even showing it off. That will only make you an enemy.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: Your name came up as soon as we told a certain personage about the features of the intruder who had broken into the hotel.
Alfons: Ahha! Now my curiosity on who that may be does tickle me. Were that I could spend a night with such a fan of mine, you see.
The man’s hackles seemed to raise when I responded with words to egg him on.
(Well, it’s a relief to know he is a simple-minded person.)
It seemed as though half a taunt would be enough to make that thread of patience break.
Alfons: ...Would you happen to be familiar with the story of Snow White, perchance?
A: I’m curious to know who you believe to be the most cowardly of the cast? What about the most cruel?
Parliamentary member with round glasses: I did not take you here to listen to you ramble about your childish riddles.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: You will be telling us about the organization you work for, and its members. If you do, I will at least let you go alive.
Alfons: Hehe... I take it this is your first time interrogating someone?
A: Because dare I say, you could learn a thing — or perhaps ten — from a professional.
A: Interrogation 101 is first researching every nook and cranny about the person you’re going to question, so you know how to threaten them into giving answers, you know, or you will only be making a vain attempt.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: ...And dare I say, that’s some advice from someone who simply let himself be taken here.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: Very well then. Allow me to answer your childish riddles.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: The most cowardly one is you, and the most cruel one is none other than me.
Alfons: Oopsie, I’m sorry to say you’re sorely wrong.
A: The correct answer would be the Mirror. For both questions, at that.
A: After all, it spoke a truth that nobody needed, and invited such a tragedy... and yet, by the end of the story would you not agree the Mirror has gotten away with it all?
Parliamentary member with round glasses: Tch, just what are you getting at!? Do you not value your own life at all!?
Alfons: Goodness gracious, you cannot even find it in your heart to entertain my fun word play? I implore you, do read in between the lines, will you?
A: I’m saying that I despise tragedies.
A: So, do you see now? You can kill me right at this very moment, and I will go out without so much as uttering a complaint.
A: Go on now, everything shall go as you wish. I could hardly care less about when or where I kick the bucket.
Perhaps unable to understand my words, the man with the round glasses humphed.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: You are a valuable source of information. Thus, until you spit out information regarding this ‘Crown’ and its members, I won’t grant you death.
Alfons: ...Oh, you poor soul. It seems reading between the lines was just too much to expect from the likes of you, so allow me the honor of clearly enlightening you.
I stood from my seat before approaching the parliamentary member.
Seeing me, who had not shown any signs of resistance until now, the guards who were originally relaxed, raised their guns in a single motion.
(Yes, that’s it, now there’s a good boy.)
Alfons: Speaking the truth and whatnot is positively beyond me. Do what you wish with me, but you’ve chosen the wrong person for true information.
—— Kate’s POV: city streets ——
On the way to the mansion where Alfons was taken, we crossed paths with Harrison and Liam.
After all, Roger had noticed there were guards lurking at the perimeter of the mansion, keeping watch.
Roger: I would bet they’re trying to get information on the people coming to rescue Alfons — that is, the members of Crown.
(If we’re too reckless, Crown would be put in danger.)
(...But——)
When I thought about the possibility that my memory of him would be lost for eternity,
I felt an urge so intense I could hardly bear it to just jump in the fray then and there.
Elbert: Roger... could you ensure not a single guard can escape?
Roger: Based on their positions and the number of people, I’d say four people are needed for that.
Elbert: ...If that’s so, may I leave that to you?
E: Kate and I will go inside.
Kate: Lord Elbert...
I was not the only one with widened eyes: the others also looked at Elbert with a slightly surprised expression.
Harrison: Well would you look at that, it’s not every day Elbie takes initiative.
Liam: I’m all for it. I’ll make sure there’s not a single witness around.
William: ——You are free to do as you like.
W: After we take care of those lurking around here, we’ll follow after you.
—— Alfons’ POV ——
Alfons: Speaking the truth and whatnot is positively beyond me. Do what you wish with me, but you’ve chosen the wrong person for true information.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: You wretched——
Alfons: Come on now, won’t you shoot me? Or are those guns of yours simply for display in light of all your cowardice?
As I drew closer to the guns, step by step, I unsheathed my saber with a smooth motion, and I heard the sound of guns being readied.
But lackeys needed an excuse to kill a valuable prisoner.
(For example, they got so agitated at having been egged on, they couldn’t put a cap on their emotions.)
(Or perhaps they felt their own lives endangered by retaliation, and so they acted out of self-defense.)
And if it was a mix of both, then all the better for them.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: Don’t shoot yet!
Alfons: Ahh! Is it that, despite the fact you find no problem in massacring people in the slums left and right like their naught but garbage, you feel disinclined to point a gun at a ‘noble’?
A: Golly, how much trouble I must have caused you.
A: But allow me to be the first to reassure you that, though I may act and talk like a noble... I actually do come from the slums you so loathe and despise.
(Just one more push.)
I only needed to make these foolish underlings, who didn’t bother to take away my saber just because I didn’t show resistance, think ‘I was dangerous.’
Alfons: So, how about it? Does it seem more doable now?
A: Oh, but if you still can’t find it in you to shoot, then perhaps I will take one of your arms first?
Just as I pointed my saber at him, fully intending to land a killing blow, though...
Kate: ...Alfons!!
Alfons: .........? [surprised]
——Resonating through the room was a voice I should have never heard again.
Upon hearing that voice, for a moment I had forgotten the smile I had worn to egg them on.
If this were a play, I would imagine such a scene would elicit a load of heckling.
And when I turned back, there I saw her, running toward me.
(——Why...)
I knew Liam and Harrison were tailing me.
And so, I led them here, and before they actually arrived on the scene, I would die by the hands of the purification club.
Afterward, Crown would interrogate them like the experts they were before condemning the leader of the purification club, and that would be the end of that.
I was sure they would only question ‘come to think of it, who was this again?’ over my dead body before being disposed of along with the rest of the guards.
——Or, that was how it was supposed to be.
Alfons: Ahh... good lord.
A: This reality can dig itself in a ditch for all I care.
A: Now look at what you guys have done. Thanks to your hemming and hawing, yet more trouble has found its way here.
Guard: Is that woman one of his friends——!?
Parliamentary member with round glasses: I’m not sure, as there was nothing in the report. Well, I’m sure this woman is one of many he picked up.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: ——It doesn’t matter anyhow. Just kill her.
The guns then all took aim at her.
(Ahh, jeez——)
Truly, what an absurd thing it was. [1]
—— Kate’s POV ——
Kate: ...Alfons...?
Everything seemed to happen in slow motion.
The guns that had originally been pointing at Alfons shifted to me.
But right as I thought that, Alfons’ back blocked them.
It was only after his body slowly reeled——
That the flow of time seemed to return to its normal state as his body crumpled to the floor.
Kate: Alfons...!!
Parliamentary member with round glasses: What in the world have you done! Blast it all! How can I face Lord Goa if he dies...
Guard who shot: I-I apologize!
Parliamentary member with round glasses: Forget it! You useless goons! Don’t move another finger until I order it!
While I heard the scolding from a distance, I ran to Alfons.
And I set his head atop my knees, somehow managing to lift his torso.
Kate: Alfons! Hey, Alfons!? Can you hear me!?
Parliamentary member with round glasses: Tch, you damn woman, you’re in the way, so move it!
A loud voice called out to me, causing me to raise my head.
(This person is——)
The man glaring at me was the parliamentary member with round glasses who was talking to Lord Goa in the purification club hotel.
The muzzle of the guns, which resembled a black hole, were pointed at the two of us.
Parliamentary member with round glasses: Stay away from that man. I’m sure if we torture him even on the brink of death, we can wring some in...for——
Man with round glasses: gh, ughh!? What is this...!? M-my head——
(Lord Elbert...!)
At some point, Lord Elbert was standing behind him.
Elbert: …I could say the same for you guys.
E: Could I ask you… to not get in the way?
Due to Lord Elbert’s ability, the parliamentary member with the round glasses was now clutching at his head, crouching on the floor while crying.
(I have utterly no clue what’s going on… but anyhow, we’re saved.)
The befuddled guards stood where they were, stupefied at the strange scene unfolding before them.
Alfons: Pfft, hehe, ahahaha!
Kate: …!?
All of a sudden, I heard laughter from within my arms, bringing my attention back.
Kate: Alfons!? Oh, thank goodness, you’re awake... wait, no! Why are you laughing!?
Alfons: Ahah— sorry, that’s my bad, it’s just... utterly funny to me— pfft, ahaha!
With every word he spoke, the crimson of the blood gradually stained the black of his clothes.
Kate: The blood...! Don’t laugh any more! It’s only going to make the bleeding worse!
K: Right now, the wound——I need to stop the bleeding!
Blood was flowing out from around his shoulders.
Seeming to overflow ceaselessly, I pushed down a handkerchief on the wound.
And it only took a moment for the white handkerchief to be stained in red.
Alfons: haa... hehe, haa... I really am sorry. I know myself that I’m a bloody mess right now.
A: But, goodness, how could I not laugh at this... pfft, ahaha!
(But... there’s so much blood...)
Kate: Gosh, I don’t understand, just what in the world’s so funny to you!? Because I sure don’t see anything worth laughing at...!
Beyond my control, tears started to prick at the corners of my eyes, overflowing.
They threatened to fall and scatter to the ground, but before they could, I felt his black gloved fingers wipe them, his touch ever so gentle.
Alfons: ...Hehe, seeing you so worked up... what a fool you are...
A: To think you would remember me so quickly, and chase me all the way to a place like this...
Feeling the warmth that seeped through his gloves made my chest tighten, and once again, I couldn’t do anything to stop my tears.
Alfons: As I thought, things never seem to work out with you, truly.
A: In fact, it went so awry, I found myself laughing.
Kate: Alright, fine, I understand now, so please, just don’t speak anymore...
Elbert: Kate, let’s tie this over the handkerchief.
Lord Elbert ran to us, a long white cloth in his hand.
It seemed he had cut off a part of his outer clothes from its seams.
And when I looked around him, I saw that the bodyguards, too, were crouching on the floor, as was the man with round glasses.
Kate: Thank you...
Alfons: Hah... were you always this efficient, Elbert... or did I miss something along the way?
Elbert: You were the one who taught me to use what is around at times like these... a long time ago.
Alfons: ...Well, look at you, so awfully earnest.
Once Lord Elbert wrapped the cloth thoroughly around the wound, he left the room to call Roger.
Alfons: ...I cannot help but wonder, though, how did you wake up so quickly?
Alfons looked positively bewildered as he asked.
Kate: I don’t know... how could I?
Alfons: Were it that you could stay beguiled for a tad bit longer...
A: ...you wouldn’t have to go through the person you love dying before your eyes like this...
A: ...and by the time the illusion wears off on its own, you would have forgotten about me already... if only.
Kate: D-don’t... don’t you dare say things like you’re going to die...
K: I would hate that... for you to die...
K: My love, all of my feelings for you...
K: Don’t you even dare... think of turning them into an illusion ever again...
I hugged Alfons’ body tightly — that was the only thing I could think to do now.
Otherwise, the shadow of death that slowly crept toward him would take him away.
Or, much like a mirage, his very existence would fade away from my memories.
Alfons: haa...
From within my arms, Alfons started to move.
And realizing that he was trying to lift himself up, I went into a panic.
Kate: No, you can’t get up! You’re still bleeding...
Alfons: By God, from the bottom of my heart, this was the last thing I ever wished to happen.
Just then, I felt a warmth brush against my lips.
(A kiss...)
The touch of his lips on mine was as light as a feather...
...and yet, out of all the kisses we had shared, this very one was the most fleeting, just as it carved itself into the deepest place in my heart.
Alfons: ...It would seem that... I love you quite a bit myself, as it were.
Kate: ——?
Alfons: At least, to the point where I want to confess like this at death’s door, and leave a trace of myself in your life... one that would never fade away.
A: Would you not agree that life... is quite a fickle thing?
He let out a laugh before his head started to spin.
(No...)
(Please... I beg of you, don’t...)
Kate: ...you...
K: Well, you haven’t left enough of a trace behind...! So I won’t ever, by God, let you die in a place like this...!
Even though he was on the verge of losing consciousness, he still slowly looked up at me.
Alfons: ...Then... how about we make a bet... the two of us?
Kate: ...? A bet...?
Alfons: If I die, then I win. I bid you adieu, and have a lovely rest of your life.
A: But, if I happen to survive this ordeal... then you win.
A: And, just as you so wish, I will love you back to the fullest——
A: And tear your life to bits and pieces.
to be continued…

Andy's hands speed up, vigorously rubbing his fat, hard cock, beads of precum spilling from the pink head of his cock.
i pull myself from her mouth, "youre such a filthy little girl," I take ahold of my cock and slap the sticky head on her cheeks "no,no baby, tch tch,"
"open your eyes, look at daddy"
FUCK! the image of you looking up at him with those teary eyes while he slaps your cockdrunk face with his meaty head is too much for him. With a few more strokes,he cums all over his hands, stomach and sheets, a blissed out smile on his face as he turns to the bedside clock- 7:25 a.m.

He rushes to get ready and leaves the house, thankfully reaching just in time.
........................
y/n wakes up and immediately wishes she hadn't.
as if it wasn't bad enough to try to kiss the man who lived literally opposite to you, but she also had to go to his house 5 days a week.
"you're a big girl, y/n" her friend's voice comes through the phone, "so what? you misread the situation and tried to kiss him, no big deal."
"NO BIG DEAL?" y/n screeches into her pillow, "the first time I come onto a man and HE LIVES LITERALLY NEXT DOOR WHAT WAS I THINKING"
The rest of her day, she is plagued by the thoughts of Andy.
9 a.m. Physics class
wait, what if he was trying to kiss me back
11 a.m. Math class
No,he wouldn't.
1 p.m. Lunch
but would he?
........................................
6 p.m.
All day Andy has been in an unfamiliarly pleasant mood, he even brought flowers as he left his office unusually early.
lillies? no, I think she's more of a tulips girl. But what about sunflowers. And now that I'm already at trader joe's how about condo-
CALM DOWN! fuck fuck fuck! you'll only creep her out.
7:30 p.m.
Andy is fuming.
his gritting teeth, his fingers tapping impatiently on the steering, the low murmurs from his lips, all can be heard despite the clatter of the traffic.
Y/n ,on one hand is relieved
well, one less awkward rejection
on the other hand, her mind is working over time.
what if he is intentionally ignoring me?
what if he thinks I'm a loser-college-freak who kisses and becomes obsessed with any guy who is nice to her.
what if, her breath hitches, what if he has a girlfriend
Jacob notices the sudden stiffness in Y/n's body, "Are you okay y/n?", He asks with his eyebrows pinched with concern.
"Oh! yes, yes I'm alright, all fine".Y/n smiles.
After a few more minutes of studying, Jake suddenly speaks up, "You know, dad was really happy when you came over yesterday,"
y/n's heartbeat quickens,"What do you mean, jake?"
"Well, I don't know, but I've never seen him smile like that."
"Like what?"
"Like...." he pauses for a moment, "Like you know how sometimes as a little kid, you get lost in the grocery store. You can't find your mom and you get scared. But then you see her and she was over there the whole time, picking out your favorite chocolates, and you run upto her, your smile is the biggest ever"
y/n giggles at Jacob's absurd metaphor but then again, he was quite mature for his age.
"so am I the cashier of the grocery store in your little metaphoric world?"
"no ,y/n, I guess what I'm trying to say is that you were the smile on my dad's face"
"Jacob....."
The sound of Andy's car pulling into the driveway catches their attention.
Andy enters the house, 3 bouquets in his hand.
"Dad," Jacob smiles knowingly "who are those for?"
Andy's eyes try to find y/n's but she is looking at the floor, her breath obviously a little heavy, her cheeks flushed.
Andy ushers Jacob out of the room,"Come on, young man, take a break from all that studying."
y/n still isn't looking at him.
Andy settles down on his haunches before y/n and holds her chin between his thumb and he forces her to look him in the eyes.
"hi, angel"
"hey, Andy" The way she slightly shifts in her place on the sofa doesn't go unnoticed by Andy.
He picks up the flowers, "didn't know which ones you liked,so i tried my best three guesses."
The contrast of his dominant presence and the tenderness of his actions makes y/n melt into a puddle as she sheepishly plays with the collar of Andy's crisp white shirt.
"The sunflowers, Andy. I love them."
Andy picks the yellow bouquet and places it on her lap.
"I was correct, sweets," he rasps out, their lips mere inches away.
"well, technically, you were only 33% correct", she laughs.
"Well, I have got to shut your smart little mouth up"
With that Andy pulls her into a fierce kiss.
He rises onto his feet, pulling her with him.
The kiss is a perfect mix of y/n and Andy, teeth and tongue and smiles and small licks.
Their bodies were as close as they could be and it still wasn't close enough.
y/n pulls away first, out of breath and dizzy from being drunk on Andy's lips, only for Andy to chase her lips again.
"If it wasn't for the flowers, I would think you were trying to kill me, hogging practically all of my oxygen", she pants but smiles nevertheless.
"well if it wasn't for tutoring, I would think you came here just for me. did you sweetheart? did you wear this cute little dress just for me? "Andy tuts her again as she tries to hide her face into his chest, "look at me while I'm talking to you, baby."
y/n looks up at him and fuck is it a sight to behold.
Pupils blows out, her lips pouty and her lipstick slightly smudged, her flustered gaze as a small smirk forms on her lips, "are you accusing me of trying to seduce you Mr. Barber?"
"yes"
"well, maybe you're right, I wore this dress just fir you," she pauses as she feels his hands pawing at her tits.
"go on," Andy says with a smug smile.
nuh uh Mr. Barber, I will not go down with out a fight,
"In fact, i did everything for you today. I put on makeup, wore my pretty heels, painted my nails, didn't wear any panties....."
The look on Andy's face is pained and he looks almost on the brink of losing control, "really?
y/n gingerly pulls one of his hands from her chest and slowly traces it up her thigh, "see Andy? why don't you check it yourself."
Andy slowly inches his hands towards her pussy when the sudden sound of the doorbell makes them jump from their places.
Andy pecks and bites y/n's lips, "Give me a sec."
"No,you cant answer the door like that"
"like what?"
y/n shyly eyes the bulge in his pants,"like that."
"shit! sweetheart, could you do it?"
y/n opens the door to a woman.
she looks around her early thirties, aroundAndy's age, she's thin and her brown hair are tied into a ponytail.
The woman gives y/n a pointed look.
"Hi, I'm Laurie, Andy's wife."

Alfons Sylvatica: Chapter 20
Chapter 19 Premium Story
♡———♡
The next morning, I woke up and immediately felt something was off.
(Huh...?)
I was the only one in bed.
It should be natural since it's my room, but it felt terribly strange.
(...I felt like I slept with someone yesterday...)
(...Who was it?)
I try to remember, but I can't remember anything like a fog has settled.
Even when I look around my body and the bed, it's neatly arranged and there's no trace of anyone being there.
But...
(This scent...what is it?)
Suddenly, when I moved, a sweet scent brushed past my nose.
(I wonder what it is...when I smell this scent...)
(I feel so sad...)
(Even though I don't know it, it feels like a very important scent to me...)
Like a flower wet with night dew, quiet and clear...
...It was a scent that I wanted to be wrapped in forever.
-
Kate: Good morning.
Roger: Ah, morning.
Roger was the only one sitting in the dining room.
Kate: Where is everyone else?
Roger: Jude and Ellis are at work as usual. Liam and Harrison are at the cake shop.
Roger: Victor and Will are at the palace, and El is...probably collapsed somewhere.
Roger tells me everyone's schedule and bites into his bread.
Kate: Thank you for yesterday.
Roger: No problem, my research on the curse progressed as well, so it's a give and take, right?
Roger: Are you feeling okay? You looked quite pale yesterday.
Eat, Roger says, pushing a silver stand with toast towards me.
Kate: Yes, I'm completely fine now...
(Huh...why was I so depressed?)
I realized that last night's events were vague and hazy.
(During the day, Roger and I went to see the family of someone who we thought might have had a "mirror curse"...)
(And then...)
Kate: Why was I looking so pale...?
Roger: Oh? That's because the results of the investigation weren't good, of course.
Roger: It seems that just having a keepsake isn't enough to escape the fate of the "mirror curse."
Kate: ...But why was I so desperate to find a way to escape the fate of the "mirror"...
My chest suddenly felt a sharp pang.
(This feeling...what is it...?)
I'm driven by an intense impatience, as if I'm being burned from the inside.
(I have to remember.)
(I need to remember.)
(It must have been something I absolutely can't forget.)
---...You're a real fool, aren't you?
I hear someone's voice dwelling in my head.
--It's okay, I understand. I've lost.
Whose voice is this?
--Let's end this.
Who are you?
Alfons: --"I loved you," in my own way.
Kate: ...!
Kate: Alfons...
Roger: Alfons? Who is that...?
After a moment of blank silence, his eyes widen.
Roger: --Damn, we got played...!
Kate: Did he use his ability on us while we were sleeping...?
Roger: Probably. He must have chanted something like, "When you wake up, you'll forget everything about me."
Roger: I was taking a nap in the lab. That guy...he used his ability on me while I was sleeping.
Kate: He probably did it to me while I was sleeping too...but why would he do this...?
(--No way.)
"Let's end this."
(No, that's impossible.)
I immediately deny the possibility that came to mind.
Because it's too absurd to do "that" for someone you don't even love.
(But--)
Elbert: ...Kate, Roger.
Kate: Elbert...!
The moment I saw Elbert enter the dining room, I rushed towards him.
Kate: Do you remember Alfons...!?
Elbert: ...Yes.
Elbert: Al's ability...has always been a little weak on me.
Elbert: I remembered as soon as I saw the note he left.
(Note…)
The note that was handed to her simply said, “Have a lovely rest of your life.”
Kate: …This is…
“Have a good life,” it’s like a farewell message for the rest of your life.
Roger: It’s more like a will than a note.
Kate: …
The thought she had just dismissed came back to her.
Elbert: …I once asked Al what he would do if you didn’t give up on him.
(Give up…)
**flashback to last night**
Alfons: To see if you’ve truly given up on me.
**end of flashback**
Elbert: Al only answered, “I’ll think about it then.”
Elbert: But I thought there was only one option the Al I know would take…
Kate: What is that…?
(Please)
(Tell me an answer that is different from what I’m imagining)
She stared at Elbert, as if praying.
Elbert: Before you pour any more of your heart, body, and time into Al and fall even more in love with him…
Elbert: He would disappear.
The moment she heard those words, her mind, which had been boiling with confusion and agitation, cooled down.
(That’s right, the Alfons I’ve seen is the kind of person who would do “that kind of thing.”)
**flashback**
Kate: Are you…the kind of person who would throw away your life for a favorite toy?
Alfons: Yes.
Alfons: After all, my life is lighter than a tin soldier’s.
**end of flashback**
Kate: …I have to find him.
Kate: I didn’t fall in love with him so he could do something like that…
Elbert: …I had a feeling you’d say that.
Elbert: I usually don’t chase after Al either, but this time is an exception.
Elbert: –I won’t allow him to just disappear like that.
(Elbert, are you angry…?)
It was unexpected.
But she understood his feelings well.
He underestimates the feelings directed towards him.
Roger: But it won’t be easy to find someone who can fool Victor’s eyes.
William: –Liam just reported on Alfons’ whereabouts.
Kate: William!?
(He went to the palace? And why…?)
Kate: Wasn’t Liam supposed to go to the cake shop…?
William: The Privy Council tipped off the Purification Club, and they had their eye on Alfons.
William: So Liam and Harrison have been tailing Alfons since the other day.
Kate: Is that so…?
William: It was more about following the trail of people trying to contact Alfons.
William: The goal was to locate the residence of a Purification Club leader…
William: However, this morning, Alfons didn’t shake off their tail, but rather, he was obediently taken away.
(No way…)
William: I’m going to go and punish the Purification Club members at the place he’s headed to, but…
Kate: You guys are–
William narrowed his eyes.
William: It doesn’t seem like I need to ask what you’re going to do.
-
(Alfons' POV)
The Purification Club members I easily caught by simply wandering around the alleys took me to a room in an old mansion decorated with faded paintings.
The place was covered in dust and had poor taste for an interrogation room.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: You came along quite easily.
Alfons: If someone calls out to me, I’m the type to follow anyone anywhere.
Alfons: Wasn’t that written in the materials shared by the Privy Council bigwigs?
A dilapidated mansion, rarely visited by anyone.
In the center of a room, surrounded by several armed men, a figure sits in a chair.
––The ideal situation.
Alfons: I suppose Lord Gore isn't here in person?
Alfons: Of course not. In evil organizations, it's usually the underlings who do the dirty work.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: We are not an evil organization. You are the one who belongs to an evil organization, are you not?
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: Showing off your suspicious powers everywhere has come back to bite you.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: When I told a certain person about the hotel break-in and your physical characteristics, your name came up immediately.
Alfons: Oh my! Who could it be? If they're a fan of mine, I'll entertain them for a night.
Mocking him, the man's temples throbbed with visible veins, just as Alfons had hoped.
(Ah, good. He seems pretty easy to manipulate.)
With a few more taunts, he'd likely lose his patience.
Alfons: ...Are you familiar with the story of Snow White?
Alfons: Who is the most foolish in that story? The most cruel?
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: I didn't bring you here to listen to childish riddles.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: Tell me about the organization you belong to and its members. If you do, I'll spare your life.
Alfons: Heh... Is this your first time?
Alfons: You should have learned from a professional interrogator before proceeding.
Alfons: Interrogation won't be successful unless you properly research your subject and figure out what threats will make them talk.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: ...Good advice for a fool who wanders into enemy territory.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: Let me answer your ridiculous riddle.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: The most foolish one here is you, and the most cruel one is me.
Alfons: Bzzt. Sorry, incorrect.
Alfons: The answer to both questions is the mirror.
Alfons: Speaking unnecessary truths and causing tragedy... Don't you think it's irresponsible towards the story's ending?
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: W-What are you trying to say!? Do you not value your life!?
Alfons: Can't you even enjoy a little wordplay? Read between the lines.
Alfons: I hate tragedies.
Alfons: So even if you kill me right now, I won't complain.
Alfons: Go ahead, feel free. Whenever, wherever.
The man with the round glasses, seemingly unable to comprehend the words, snorted.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: You are a valuable source of information. I won't kill you until you tell me about your "Crown" friends.
Alfons: ... For the sake of your poor comprehension of the unspoken, shall I speak plainly?
He stands up from his chair and approaches the lawmaker.
The guards, who had been lulled into a false sense of security by his lack of resistance, all raised their guns at once.
(Yes, good boys.)
Alfons: I refuse to tell the truth. No matter what you do to me, you won't get any accurate information from me.
-
(Kate's POV)
Guided by William, we left the castle and met up with Harrison and Liam a short distance from the mansion where Alfons was taken.
This was because Roger noticed guards lurking around the mansion.
Roger: They're probably trying to get information on anyone who comes to rescue Alfons, in other words, members of the Crown.
(If we rush in carelessly, we'll put the Crown itself in danger.)
(...But—)
I couldn't help but want to rush in right away, thinking about when memories of him might be lost forever.
Elbert: Roger... can you make sure you don't miss any of the lurking guards?
Roger: Considering their positions and numbers, we'll need four people.
Elbert: ...Then, can I leave it to you?
Elbert: Kate and I will go inside.
Kate: Elbert...!
It wasn't just me who was surprised; everyone else was looking at Elbert with a slightly surprised expression.
Harrison: Wow. That's rare for El to be so proactive.
Liam: All right. I'll make sure to take care of any witnesses who see you two.
William: —Do as you please.
William: We'll head over as soon as we're done taking care of the lurkers.
-
(Alfons' POV)
Alfons: I refuse to tell the truth. No matter what you do to me, you won't get any accurate information from me.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: You––
Alfons: Come on, come on, aren't you going to shoot? Don't any of you have the guts?
As I take one step at a time towards the muzzle of the gun and smoothly draw the saber from my waist, I hear the sound of gun hammers being cocked from all directions.
To kill a valuable prisoner, the lower ranks need an excuse.
(Such as provoked and enraged, unable to control my emotions)
(Attacked and felt my life was in danger, so my survival instincts kicked in)
If the latter is added to the former, the trigger becomes even lighter.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: Don't shoot yet!
Alfons: Oh! So you can kill people from the slums like trash, but you're hesitant to shoot a "noble"?
Alfons: I'm so sorry, how rude of me.
Alfons: I may be dressed like a noble, but... I was born in the slums, which you all despise.
(One more push)
All I have to do is make the stupid underlings who didn't take my saber away because I wasn't resisting think "this guy is dangerous."
Alfons: So, how about it? Can you do it?
Alfons: If you still don't have the courage, I'll cut off one of your arms.
I put my killing intent into it and pointed the tip of my sword at him.
Kate: ...Alfons!!
Alfons: ...?
––I heard a voice I shouldn't have heard.
-
A voice I shouldn't be able to hear reaches my ears, and for a moment, the mocking smile I'd been wearing fades away.
If this were a play, this is where I'd be expecting boos from the audience.
Turning around, I see her rushing towards me.
(––Why?)
I knew Liam and Harrison were tailing me.
My plan was to lead them here, provoke the Purification Club enough to get myself killed before they arrived.
Then, Crown would interrogate the guy with his professional techniques, expose the Purification Club's leader, and we'd have a happy ending.
My corpse would be disposed of with the other guards, barely remembered. It would have been perfect.
––Or so I thought.
Alfons: Ugh.. Seriously.
Alfons: Reality really sucks.
Alfons: You're all dragging your feet and now we're in trouble.
Man: Is that woman one of his companions---!?
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: I don't know, it's not in the report. She's probably one of the women this guy picked up.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: ––Whatever, kill her.
The gun was pointed at her.
(Oh, really)
This is ridiculous.
-
(Kate's POV)
Kate: ...Alfons...?
Everything felt like it was in slow motion.
The gun that was aimed at Alfons turned towards me.
The next thing I knew, Alfons' back was shielding me.
Slowly, his body tilted—and finally, the flow of time returned when his body collapsed onto the floor.
Kate: Alfons...!!
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: What are you doing! Damn it! If he's dead, how am I supposed to report this to Councilman Gore...?
Guard who fired: I-I apologize!
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: Forget it! You useless fools! Don't move a muscle until I give the order!
While hearing the commotion as if it were far away, I rushed to Alfons.
I put his head on my lap and managed to lift his upper body.
Kate: Alfons! Alfons!? Can you hear me!?
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: You woman, you're in the way, move!
He called out in a loud voice, and I looked up with a start.
(This person—)
The lawmaker with the round glasses who was talking to Councilman Gore at the Purification Club hotel was glaring at us.
A cold muzzle, like a black hole, was pointed directly at us.
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: Get away from that man. If we torture him even as he dies, he might spill something—
Lawmaker with Round Glasses: Ugh, uugh!? What...!? M-My head—
(Lord Elbert...!)
Before I knew it, Lord Elbert was standing behind him.
Elbert: ...You, on the other hand...
Elbert: Could you please... not interfere with them?
Whether it was because of Lord Elbert's ability or not, the lawmaker with the round glasses clutched his head, collapsed to the ground, and started sobbing.
(I don't know what happened... but we're saved.)
The bewildered guards were frozen in place at the abnormal sight.
Alfons: Pfft, ugh, ahahaha!
Kate: ...!?
Suddenly, I heard laughter from my arms, and consciousness returned to Alfons.
Kate: Alfons!? Thank goodness, you're conscious... but why are you laughing!?
Alfons: Ahah, no, I'm sorry, it's just... I found it funny, ahaha!
Every time he spoke, his black clothes were gradually getting soaked with blood.
Kate: Blood...! You're bleeding! Stop laughing!
Kate: We need to stop the bleeding quickly...!
The blood was flowing from around his shoulder.
I pressed a handkerchief tightly against the endlessly gushing wound.
In an instant, the white handkerchief turned red.
Alfons: Ha... ugh, hehe, ha, I'm sorry, I know I'm bleeding profusely...
Alfons: But I can't help but laugh... ahaha!
(So much blood is flowing...)
Kate: What's so funny!? It's not funny at all...!
Tears welled up in my eyes.
A black-gloved fingertip gently wiped away the tears that were about to spill.
Alfons: ...Hehehe. You're so desperate, it's silly.
Alfons: To think you'd remember me so quickly and chase me all the way here.
The warmth I feel through his gloves tightens my chest and brings tears to my eyes again.
Alfons: You really are a person who can't get what she wants, aren't you?
Alfons: It's so amusing how nothing goes your way that I can't help but laugh.
Kate: Sh-shut up...
Elbert: Kate, let's use this to tie it tightly over the handkerchief.
Lord Elbert rushes over, holding a long, white cloth.
It looks like he tore it from the edge of his long coat.
Looking around, I see that all the guards are also crouched down like the bespectacled councilman.
Kate: Th-thank you.
Alfons: Humph... Elbert, were you always this... competent?
Elbert: In times like these, you make do with what you have... That's what you taught me a long time ago.
Alfons: ...Such a goody-two-shoes.
After firmly bandaging the wound with the cloth, Lord Elbert left the room to call Roger.
Alfons: ...I wonder why you woke up so soon.
Alfons says, looking puzzled.
Kate: H-how would I know... something like that.
Alfons: If only you had remained deceived a little longer.
Alfons: You wouldn't have had to witness the death of the person you love.
Alfons: By the time the illusion faded... you could have forgotten me completely.
Kate: P-please don't say... death...
Kate: No... Please don't die.
Kate: My love, my feelings, they're still...
Kate: Please don't let them become an illusion...
I could only hold Alfons tightly.
So that the creeping shadow of death wouldn't snatch him away.
So that his existence, my memories, wouldn't disappear like a mirage.
Alfons: Haa...
Alfons stirs in my arms.
I panic when I realize he's trying to sit up.
Kate: You can't get up! The blood...
Alfons: This is truly, completely, from the bottom of my heart, not what I wanted.
A warmth brushes against my lips.
(A kiss...)
It was the briefest of touches... The most fleeting, yet the most deeply etched kiss I've ever experienced.
Alfons: ...It seems I love you quite a bit, after all.
Kate: Wh-what?
Alfons: To the extent that I want to utter these words on my deathbed and leave an unforgettable mark on your life.
Alfons: Life is quite... unpredictable, isn't it?
After smiling, his head wobbles.
(No...)
(No, please.)
Kate: ...More.
Kate: I'll make you leave more behind...! I won't let you die here...
His eyes, which seemed ready to close at any moment, slowly looked up at me.
Alfons: ...Then... shall we make a bet?
Kate: ...A bet...?
Alfons: If I die, I win. Goodbye, have a good life.
Alfons: But if I survive... you win.
Alfons: As you wish, we'll love each other properly—
Alfons: And I'll tear your life to shreds.

“just for you” ficlet
hi okay so i had an anon send in a hc about this situation and i loved it so much so i wrote a little ficlet about it! enjoy them being nasty (if u saw this yesterday no u didn’t, i changed some things hehe)
— — — —
“that’s bullshit and you know it,” ian grunts, yanking the front door open with a fury.
“the fuck it is!” mickey shouts back, stomping through the living room with exasperated mumbles, “need a beer.”
“great, just do me a favor and drink your three six-packs away from me,” ian spits, a flippancy in his voice that only mickey brings out in him.
mickey purses his lips, squints his eyes, and flips ian the middle finger before angrily taking a swig of his old style, “gladly.”
he heads over to the couch, outwardly faking indifference about the situation while quietly cursing himself for letting ian and himself get so worked up over practically nothing. he’s not even sure he can recall what started it in the first place.
he angrily tears his shoes off, popping them on the ground before laying back in the couch and flipping through the channels. he mindlessly stares for about an hour, drifting to sleep before hearing a knock on the door. he ignores it, spitefully waiting for ian to come clamoring down the stairs with mumbles of how lazy he is. he’s still pissed about earlier; ian having picked a fight out of seemingly nowhere just because he woke up crabby. the knock turns to a bang. mickey sighs, mumbling varities of fuck this, fuck that as he begrudgingly makes his way to the door with significantly pronounced stomps just loud enough in hopes that ian will hear.
he vigorously yanks the door open, prepared to spit a quick “can i fuckin’ help you?” before he catches sight of those dewy green eyes and goofy smile.
“the fuck?” mickey whispers before ian pulls his hand out from behind his back. he reveals a bouquet of wilted white roses that look as if they could talk, they would be begging to be put out of their misery.
“climbed out the window,” he flashes a bashful grin, “this is all they had at the store,” he gives a sad smile towards the roses and then back up to his husband.
“i’m sorry,” he says sincerely, a tinge of shame plaguing his voice as those green eyes go soft. “go to dinner with me?”
mickey takes in the sight, his heart doing backflips in his chest, “jesus christ,” he stares down with a wide grin.
“those flowers look like shit.” he says plainly. ian gives him a shrug, clearly fighting a smile.
“‘m sorry too,” mickey steps aside as ian meets him in the doorway.
“you’re a sappy asshole, ya know that?”
“just for you,” ian smirks, abandoning the flowers and grabbing mickey by the waist to meet their lips. he pulls back, bringing his freckled hands up to cup mickey’s jaw. he runs his thumb along mickey’s cheek, tracing his nose and under his eyes. mickey blinks slowly, leaning into the touch as his eyes flutter shut.
“wow,” ian whispers as he scans his husband’s face, getting lost in soft blue eyes and dusting of light freckles across porcelain skin.
mickey leans in, devouring ian with a hunger before ian pulls away and slows the movement. “dinner after?” he huffs through slow kisses down mickey’s neck.
mickey’s head leans back, “dinner after,” he says through hiccuped breaths. they take their time up the stairs, giggling between kisses as they stumble all over the place; door wide open and wilted white rose petals scattered across the floor.

NOT BETA READ (I did try the best to my ability)
A/N JUNGKOOK'S SONG!! I am updating today because for heck if it didn't make me motivated. Please read A/N at the bottom of the page in order to speak more on the subject. All my thoughts and thirsts shall be there.
You tried your best to keep a positive look on your face, but it was clear how exhausted you were with the dark circles under your eyes. You had been shuffling your feet along the hallway you had been down so many times that it was muscle memory to stop at a specific door. However before you reached the ones you needed to get to, someone had stopped you.
“Hello, (Y/N).” Hoseok’s bright smile woke you up just a bit.
“Hi, Hobi.” You gave him a sleepy giggle, bounding closer to the boy.
“Is everything okay?” He frowned as he took in your state, eyes scanning over your look.
“Yeah.” You sighed. “I just haven't been sleeping fine these past few days. I've been having these bad headaches.”
Hobi hummed, nodding his head as he thought about something. “Would you like something for them?” He asked you, gesturing to his room. “I can help you.”
You glanced at his door, pursing your lips. “I don't want to intrude.”
“Don't worry.” He brightly waved you off. “Come in. Don't mind Yoongi.” He dragged you into his room, lightly pushing you inside.
Just like Hoseok had said, Yoongi had been laying on his bed with his arms behind his head. “Hi, Yoongi.” You smiled softly.
The boy only blinked slowly at you, humming in a greeting.
“Now let's see.” Hobi skipped over to his desk, pulling out some boxes and going through the contents. You walked closer, wanting to take a look at what he had.
“Here you go.” He exclaimed, holding up a bag of herbs. “This tea should be helpful.”
You hesitantly reached out to grab it, eyes looking over the dried plants inside. They looked like herbs picked directly from the plant rather than the ones you’d find in a tea bag from the store. These were herbal teas in their raw form.
“You get tea here?” You questioned, looking up at him.
“They have me do a lot of things here.” Hobi sighed. “Most of which works with herbs and such. I have a garden in the greenhouse.” He explained to you.
“That sounds wonderful.” You smiled, thinking about the kind of flowers the man might have there.
“For someone like him.” Yoongi snorted from the bed. Hobi frowned at his friend, rolling his eyes.
You tried to give them a light laugh but you felt a sudden pressure in your head that made you wince. Hobi immediately picked up on it and turned to you. “You okay?” He asked.
“Yeah.” You sighed. “Just the headache again.”
“If it helps, I know a bit of hypnosis.” Hobi explained. “Maybe I can help you out a bit.”
You looked at him oddly. Hypnosis was for those trying to get something out of the other person. Well from what you could gather with how magicians used the tool. “How will hypnosis help?” You asked.
“It will put you to sleep. You will get undisturbed rest.” Hobi told you.
You sighed deeply, contemplating his offer. However you realized you were at work and sleeping on the job was not at all an option. “As much as I want to, I have things to do-” You tried to tell Hobi.
“Don't worry.” Hobi waved you off. He dragged you to the bed, giving Yoongi a pointed look to get off. “They won't notice.” Hobi grinned.
“It's not like any of the notes you write down are different day to day. We are still the same as we were yesterday.” Yoongi mumbled to himself, getting off to give you room.
“How 'bout it?” Hobi smiled at you.
You took a seat on the bed, shoulders dropping as you thought it over. It had been a couple of days since you had a good night’s sleep. You had yet to notice it affecting your work life, but you do notice how often the headaches come back. You would get a migraine at night and not be able to sleep, thus creating headaches throughout the day due to lack of sleep.
“Well alright.” You sighed, looking at Hobi.
The man gave you a kind smile as he lightly pushed you back to lie down. You hummed to yourself as you realized how comfortable the bed actually was. It was like any other mattress, you had figured it was more of a hospital bed but you realized since they were actually living in the facility they would get comfortable furniture.
Hobi waited for you to settle in, before moving his hands around for a moment. “I promise nothing will happen.” He spoke to you.
Your eyes glanced up at him, causing him to pause just a bit. You looked at him with such hopeful eyes that it made him worry about what he was doing. You were trusting him and he was invading your space without your consent.
He knew how important those kinds of things were in his way of life but he had people to protect. As much as he knew he was going to have to pray the universe wouldn’t be mad at him, he had to find what it was blocking your memories from him.
He waved his hand over your eyes again, a purple mist flowing around his hand. Your eyes didn’t get the chance to grow wide from the swirl of color because you were suddenly brought into a deep sleep. Whatever it was that came from Hobi’s hand’s was now lost in your mind.
“You sure about this?” Yoongi questioned as he watched your sleeping figure from the otherside of the bed.
“There's something blocking her childhood memories for some reason.” He explained. “I can't find them.”
Yoongi frowned as he took in his friend's words. As they settled in, he came to the realization that he had been invading your privacy. “Are you the one who's been giving her the headaches?” He crossed his arms, frowning.
“I didn't realize how blocked they were.” Hobi shook his head. “Maybe I'll find something with her actually under my spell.”
Hobi began to waved his hands around your head again, the purple mist growing more as his energy seemed to dispel around him. Yoongi watched as his friend’s magic consumed his body, intertwining with your body as it seeped into your mind.
He had always loved watching Hobi work with his magic. The tricks and spells Hobi would use seemed to memorize everyone who watched. However Yoongi had never seen him use his magic on someone who didn’t know about it. He knew the repercussions Hobi would get for using magic on someone against their will and it left him worried for the boy’s safety.
“Hobi, don't go probing where you shouldn't.” Yoongi spoke up.
The normally happy boy looked confused for a moment, his eyes squinting down at your body. As his magic connected itself with your mind, he realized how easy it really was to look into your life. However, there was just one small section that didn’t seem to allow him entrance to.
“I don't think it's that.” Hobi said.
He watched the scene in your head play around for a moment. He was in the middle of some forest, following behind a little girl who was skipping along. He realized it was you when you would turn to look around the place with curious eyes.
You were a little girl, no older than 10 by the looks of it. Hobi smiled softly as he noticed you still had your sense of kindness even if you were a child. You would look at everything with care and softly touch the nature around you. You had always had your heart on your sleeve, Hobi could tell.
However he found it odd that you kept talking to yourself over your shoulder. Like there was someone walking along with you. He couldn’t find whoever it was you were speaking to, but Hobi noticed there seemed to be the figure of a ghost around. They were the same height as you, and looked to have the same figure as well. Hobi realized it was meant to be another little girl.
You kept talking aimlessly with someone who wasn’t really there, conversing like they were replying. You two seemed to walk further into the forest, looking over things here and there. Hobi glanced around, frowning as his surroundings suddenly started to look familiar to him.
Before he realized it, your memory continued on, the man almost losing sight of you. He rushed towards where you had gone, coming up to a clearing in the trees. The mountains were looming over him as the beginning of one opened up to create a cave within its body. Hobi now knew he had been there before—so long ago.
You and the ghostly looking silhouette walked into the cave, giggling as a light within seemed to shine brighter the closer you all got. Hobi’s eyes went wide as he ran in to chase after you. He stopped in his tracks as a crystal clear pond laid out before him, the water mirroring everything around it.
As he watched you reach down into the water, something electrocuted his entire body causing him to scream. He fell back onto the ground, hands seizing up. His eyes went wide as your smaller self turned around and caught his stare.
“Hobi?” Little you questioned.
You woke up with a loud gasp, sitting up quickly and looking around in a panic. The boys were quick to snap their heads towards you.
“Hey.” Hoseok quickly stood from the chair across the room, rushing towards you. “You okay, Darling?” He asked, running his hands through your hair.
You moved to grab onto his hand, furrowing your eyebrows as your mind seemed to catch up that he had been in your dreams for some reason. “What happened?” You asked, lowing his hand into your lap.
“Nothing from what we could see.” Hoseok shrugged, looking as though he actually spent the whole time watching you sleep rather than probing your mind.
“You were sleeping just fine but then started to mumble about someone named Nabi.” Yoongi called out.
Both you and Hoseok turned to the man, frowning at the revelation. You because you actually had no clue who on earth that was and Hobi because he hadn’t heard you say that name while he was inside your head.
“Nabi?” You questioned.
“Do you not know that name?” Yoongi asked.
“No?” You shook your head, trying to come up with an answer. You would understand why you would say Hobi’s name, but as far as you knew, you didn’t know anyone with the name Nabi.
“Hey, don't worry about it.” Hoseok took you out of your head. “You'll just give yourself a worse migraine.” He gave you a small smile afterwards. “You should go check on Joonie and Kook. Maybe it'll help.”
You moved to get up from the bed, stretching your shoulders. “Yeah. I guess.” As you came to a stand you noticed the headache was gone and you did feel a bit more refreshed. “Thanks, Hobi. I do feel refreshed.”
Hobi’s eyes softened as they took in the look in your eyes. It made him feel bad just a bit but there was something keeping you from knowing everything. Even he knew it was a terrible thing to be kept from all your memories. Maybe he was selfish for wanting to look into it for himself but now he knew that someone must have messed with your mind.
“Of course.” Hobi smiled at you. “Have a good day!” He called as you waved at him.
Once the door shut, Yoongi walked up to Hobi and crossed his arms. “So?” He asked.
“She's been to Yuri lake.” Hobi’s lips pulled down as he frowned, thinking to himself.
Yoongi’s eyes went wide, dropping his arms to his sides. “You sure?”
“There's something keeping me from looking into it but she's been to the lake as a child.” He hummed, turning to his desk to look over somethings in his grimoire. “With someone else.” He added.
That someone else must have been the Nabi person you called for in your sleep. While Hobi didn’t get the chance to hear you, Yoongi saw and heard everything you did outside of your mind. “You think she knows?” The pale boy asked.
“I don’t think so.”

MY THOUGHTS ON 3D:
When I say this man--is scrump-delicious. When I say this man is SO fine. Jungkook wasn't in this chapter but I couldn't wait to speak with you guys about his song.
Jungkook is for sure one of the boys who I can just look at one day and claim him as my bias. AND HIS MUSIC! This man knows what he is doing. He knows what we say. He knows what we edit. I'm positive he got a tumblr man. I would not be surprised. He knows the metaphor behind all that water he has in both of his music videos.
Aside from him obviously catering to the masses though; Jungkook's music calls to me a lot like how Yoongi's does. I listen to all of them but I know I have a certain taste when it comes to it. I have a good amount of songs that make me want to dance but Jungkook's songs make me want to dance with other people. (Even if I can't) The songs make me actually want to be social and confident in myself. At that point it's not even about the fact that Jungkook sings it but I really like the lyrics even if it's meant for men lmao. It makes me feel great that there are people out there who find you attractive and can have that much passion.
Please share your own thoughts about it. I want to hear all about it!

plot: the reader doesn't know what to do about Daryl
series masterlist
Pairing: Eventual Daryl Dixon x f!reader Word Count: 4,117 Warnings: violence, blood, typical twd A/N: thank you for reading!!
Daryl wasn’t there when you woke, making everything worse. It was like he said all those things only to leave again anyway. But Rosita was there, sitting on a chair with one of your books in her hand. She smiled when she saw you were up and came to sit on the bed by your legs.
“Hey, sexy,” Rosita teased. “How are you feeling?”
“Remember when I was stabbed when we first met? A lot worse.”
She chuckled. “You’ll get through it. I was shot, too. You’ll feel better soon… well, eventually.”
“I missed you,” You told her. “Sorry, I was away at the Kingdom for so long.”
She waved you off. “Don’t sweat it. I’m here for you, babe.”
You laughed again and then winced. “How long was I out?”
“Two days. You were up yesterday but were pretty out of it. Michonne had to go back to the kids. She wants you to radio her when you’re up. I’ve been keeping her updated. She says she’s really sorry she couldn’t stay longer and would’ve if she could.”
“It’s okay. She’s got two kids and a community to run. Besides, I’m fine.” You looked at your friend and smiled tiredly. “Nothing keeps me down long, remember?”
Rosita smiled, and you could see the relief in her eyes. “Are you hungry? I can get some food for you?”
You nodded, “That would be great. Would you mind getting Tora, too?”
“Of course not.” Rosita stood and walked towards the door before pausing. “I kicked Daryl out to take care of himself. He hasn’t left the room. Do you want me to tell him you don’t want to see him?”
You sighed and looked up at the ceiling. “I don’t know.”
“That’s a no, then, babe.” Rosita laughed. “I’ll be back, don’t get shot again.”
***
You spent another few days in the infirmary before Adam said you were okay to go back to your room. You were still in a lot of pain, but it wasn’t from the gunshot. With the organ gone, it was just the surgery wounds and then the ribs that hurt the most.
Both Rosita and Daryl helped you get to your old room. Tora, who was pushing twelve years old now, followed slowly, and Rosita had to lift her to get her on the bed.
You spent another two weeks cooped up in your room. Fall was near it’s end and Rosita had to get back to Alexandria, but she promised she would be back soon.
Carol and Ezekiel came to see you, the former, more often. Even Henry came to you with flowers and apologized for getting you shot, which you dismissed immediately.
But it was Daryl who was always there. And after almost three weeks of him by your side constantly, you were starting to get used to his presence again. The two of you didn’t argue, but you didn’t really talk either. You didn’t have the strength to heal your body and mind simultaneously.
He begged you to let him stay with you overnight initially, and after struggling with trying to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you relented. But you made him sleep on the floor.
So you read a lot, and he brought you food, changed your bandages, and helped you with everything you needed. He brought you a flower daily and reminded you that he loved you, which you accepted but couldn’t say back.
A month after being shot, you were feeling better. Your ribs were sore, and your surgery and gunshot wound were okay. You could walk around the community and help a little here and there, but it wasn’t extensive. Which you were okay with because early winter had set in, and being in the cold made you shiver, which hurt.
You were cleaning up your room one evening with the windows open. It was bringing in a cold draft, but you wanted to air out the space, and Tora needed to be let out. She’d since come back and nestled herself in the closet, but you wanted to air out the room a little more. You were shivering and trying to keep warm as you laid clean sheets and a blanket on your bed.
Your hair was damp and braided back, and your newly cut curtain bangs hung loosely around your face. You were wearing a sweater you could in the Kingdom’s storage with a pair of leggings and thick socks, but it still was cold.
Your door opened, and Daryl walked into the room. “Why ya got the window open?”
“You really should knock, Daryl. And don’t say you don’t have to ‘cause I’m your wife, ‘cause I’m not.” You said. “And Tora was out.”
He stayed silent as you shut the window. When you looked at him, you crossed your arms. “I told you yesterday that you should get your own room or go.”
“Where would I go?”
“I don’t know. Alexandria. Hilltop. Not my problem.” You knew you were being cruel, especially after everything he’s done for you the past month. But that didn’t mean you forgot about the last five and a half years.
“I wanna be here. With ya.”
You sighed and sat down on the bed. “You don’t get to come back just because I got hurt and expect everything to go back to normal.”
Daryl was quiet as he stared at you. Then he nodded and left the room.
***
You’d been asleep for a few hours, dreams of Daryl twisting into nightmares of the saviors, when you woke to the door opening. You groaned softly at the noise and the soft lighting from the outside hallways, turning in your bed as the door shut again.
From the moonlight, you saw Daryl’s figure walk toward the bed.
“Do ya really want me to leave?” His voice was hoarse; like he’d been crying.
You stayed silent as you looked at his face.
“I will leave tonight, right now. Will let ya go, won’ have to ever see me again. I need to hear ya say it, though.”
Your stomach twisted, and you clenched your blankets. Your mouth went dry, and your mind froze. You didn’t know what to say. You couldn’t form any words as you stared up at him. Tears leaked from your eyes.
“Please (Y/N), I’ll do anythin’ ya ask. Just tell me ya want be gone, and ‘m gone.”
“You broke my heart,” You whispered. “I never thought you would, and you did.”
Daryl hung his head as he nodded, shoulders shaking. “‘Aight, I understand.”
When he turned and walked to the door you sat up. “Daryl. You’re my husband.” You didn’t know what else to say. But the tear in your heart was so painful you couldn't stand it.
The archer froze and slowly turned around. “Ya my wife.” He whispered, but you heard it clear. You nodded and reached out for him.
He didn’t hesitate; of course, he didn’t. He crossed the room in half a second and fell into you. His hands grabbed your face as he kissed you, pushing you back onto the bed and gently lying on top of you.
“Don’t ever do that to me again,” You mumbled against his lips. “Don’t you ever dare do that again.”
“I won’t.” He promised, his beard tickling your chin. “I will never leave ya again. I swear it.”
You nodded and kissed him, wrapping your arms around his neck. His hand grabbed your waist over your sweatshirt and ran along your side, down your thigh, and back up again.
He was kissing you desperately, and you couldn’t tell if they were yours or his tears you were tasting. But you didn’t care. You didn’t care about anything except for his lips and the weight of his body on you. Grounding you.
“I want you,” You whispered as you pulled away. “I don’t care if it’s a good idea or not. I want you.”
“Darlin’,” Daryl said before kissing you again feverishly. You could hardly keep up with his kiss, hands, and touch. It was like he was trying to make up for all of what he missed out on.
You pawed at his shirt until he took it off, and you leaned up to let him take off your sweater.
“I fuckin’ missed ya,” Daryl nearly moaned before pressing his mouth against your breasts, his tongue circling around your nipple and sucking lightly. You cried out and fisted your hands into his hair. Everywhere he touched sent you on fire, and you couldn’t keep your hips still. Tears burned your eyes, and your emotions swelled. Heartbreak and love mixed together to ache all over your body and mind.
You didn’t realize you were crying until Daryl cradled your face and wiped away your tears. “Don’ cry, pretty girl. ‘M here. Never leavin’ ya again.”
“I missed you so much,” You sobbed as you looked at him. “I missed you so much, honey. Every day, it was like I couldn’t breathe.”
“‘M so sorry,” He whispered.
“I’m sorry for being a shit wife,” You cried.
“(Y/N)-”
“I was, too. We were both shit. I’m so sorry.” You grabbed his face and pulled him into another kiss. “Don’t stop even if I’m crying.” You mumbled.
“(Y/N), I…”
You shook your head. “I need this. We need this. I can’t live without you, I tried. I wanna be close to you. I need to.” When you touched his cheeks you felt he was crying too, and you moved your head up to kiss the tears away. “I need you.”
Slowly, he nodded, and his lips fell to your neck. You were thankful because you needed a moment to collect your thoughts without seeing his face and because feeling his lips after so long had your toes curling.
Daryl lifted himself off you to pull your shorts down, and you heard him groan when he realized there was nothing else underneath them. His hands gripped your thighs tightly, and he propped your legs up and spread them open.
“Daryl,” You whined, reaching for him.
“”M here, darlin’,”
Within a few seconds, he was hovering over you and your hands were rubbing his shoulders. You could feel how hard he was as he ran his cock up and down your center a few times.
“Please…” You begged. “I need you.”
“‘M right here,” Daryl said, groaning when he slowly thrust into you.
“Oh God, Daryl,” You moaned loudly and lifted your hips to meet his.
He rested his head against your shoulder as he slowly moved in and out. Each time he pushed in, you moaned from his touch, and you couldn’t control how desperate you sounded for more.
“I thought about you every time,” You breathed out, grabbing his forearms by the side of your head. “Every time I touched myself, I thought about you. About this.”
Daryl moaned louder than you’d ever heard and lifted his head to look at you. “I did, too.” His hand touched your face, and he wiped away your stray tears. “Don’ cry, darlin’.”
“It feels so good…”
“I know, pretty girl.”
You shut your eyes and bit down on your lip when you felt his tip reach deep inside you. Your nails dug into his arms, and you felt him twitch inside you.
“Promise me there was no one else,” You whispered. “Promise me, Daryl.”
“I promise,” He didn’t hesitate, and he thrust into you harder for emphasis. “Ain’ nobody I wanna be with but ya. Nobody feels like ya do.”
You breathed out in relief, finally accepting his answer as the truth.
“Did ya?” Daryl asked you. “Ya can tell me the truth. I’ll fuckin’ kill the son of a bitch, but I won’ blame ya or be mad.”
“No,” You smiled and cupped his cheek. “Of course not. You’re it.”
Daryl nodded and moved faster, hitting you harder and harder each time he thrust into you. You felt that familiar build-up run through your legs and you wrapped them around him as you climaxed, his name the only thing leaving your lips.
Still, he didn’t stop. He kept going harder and harder, deeper and deeper, until you were withering underneath him. You heard him say I love you, I love you, I love you over and over again. Your legs were shaking, and you couldn’t stop kissing him everywhere you could. His face, his arms, and neck.
“I wanna finish in ya,” Daryl grunted.
You nodded, his words bringing you closer to the edge again. With a few more hard thrusts, Daryl groaned and came inside of you while you hit your own high.
When it was over, he used his shirt to clean you up and pulled you into his arms so your back was pressed against his chest. His lips danced along your neck for a few peaceful minutes of silence and his fingers rubbed the X scar on your lower back.
“Will ya wear your ring?”
“We still have a lot to work on…”
“I know. I just want it on ya.”
You felt him take his necklace off, and then his hands appeared in front of your face. One arm wrapped snuggly around your waist, and the other was your makeshift pillow. In that hand was your ring, and after giving him your hand, he slid it back where it belonged.
His arm around your middle tightened, and you sighed in contentment, the moonlight reflecting off the metal ring. You’d gotten so used to seeing your hand without, and the weight seemed new. But it was a sight that made your heart swell.
***
You woke up the following day to pressure on your legs and a hand caressing your cheek. It didn’t take long to find that Tora was asleep on your legs, and Daryl was awake and watching you while you slept.
“That’s creepy.” You mumbled tiredly.
Daryl’s hand covered the side of your face, reminding you how big it was in the first place. His fingers were rough as always, but it was the most comforting thing in the world to you right now. You closed your eyes when he pressed a long kiss to your cheek.
“Ya look so pretty.”
You smiled, not sure what to say. You wanted to slide back into your relationship with him, especially after last night, but you were still scared. He seemed like the Daryl before the war but more emotional. He’d been talking to you about his feelings, about what he wanted. He was doing everything you ever wanted from him. And it meant the world to you. But could it erase the last few years?
“What ya thinkin’? Ya got that look on ya face.”
You looked at him, taking in those ocean blue eyes hiding behind messy bedhead. His scruff was cut shorter than it had been, and you could see the gray in his beard. “I’m thinking about the time that’s been wasted.”
His finger traced over the scar above your eyebrow, then bushed your bangs back. “Don’ think ‘bout it. We’re here now. Think about that.”
You nodded slowly and took his hand from your face, looking at it. The ring was, of course, there, and you can see a very faint tan line from a few months ago. He’d been wearing it the whole time. Then your eyes roamed to his forearm, and you saw the burn scars. They looked exactly like the one he did on his hand years ago after Beth died.
“Honey…”
“”M fine.”
You kissed his hand and looked at him. “No more, okay? You wanna do it, come find me.”
He nodded and adjusted himself to rest his head against your shoulder and wrap his arm around your lower waist. It was silent for a while, just the two of you breathing and Tora’s soft snores.
“Ya haven’ said I love ya back.”
You furrowed your eyes and turned your head to look, but he was looking down, so you couldn’t see his face. “What?”
“Ya took the ring back, and we… last night. Ya haven’t told me ya love me.”
Your heart ached, and you sighed. “I’m sorry, I just… I’m trying to sort through my feelings.”
He nodded against your shoulder, and you felt him hold you just a little bit tighter.
***
You took a long walk around the Kingdom later that day by yourself. Daryl wanted to go with you, but you refused. You needed time to think about things and just process all the emotions you’ve felt since getting shot. You never got the chance to process dying and being brought back to life by Siddiq and Adam.
Tora didn’t accompany you because she was getting too old to keep up and was more comfortable in the warm room anyway.
You grabbed some food from Nabila, who always gave you something whenever she saw you, and headed back toward your room. The community was pretty quiet, but you could see the lights on. You wondered where Carol was, but you knew she was probably with her family. And you were happy for her.
You hesitated for a while before going back to your room. You weren’t sure if you were ready to face Daryl again. You were so conflicted over what to do. On one hand, he was home. He was with you. He’d buried himself deep inside you last night, and you felt everything you once did and were supposed to. You felt loved. You felt safe and protected. You felt him.
But on the other hand, you were desperately afraid of him doing this again. You couldn’t stop it the first time; how would you be able to do it a second time?
As you rounded the corner to the building you lived in, your bag heavy on your shoulder, you saw Daryl. He was standing outside with Dog, smoking a cigarette, with his crossbow on his back. He looked beautiful. He looked perfect, which was all the more reason you were so conflicted.
“Hey, crazy girl,” Daryl said when he saw you approaching. You grabbed the cigarette from his hand and brought it to your lips, taking a long drag of it. “Thought ya didn’ like smokin’?”
“Yeah, well, I have a lot of anxiety right now, and one won’t kill me.”
Daryl nodded, and you knew he understood what you meant. Dog whined and rubbed his head against your legs, and you gently pet him.
“Well, ya look pretty today.”
You snorted. “I look like I always do.”
“Ya always look pretty.”
“Are you trying to butter me up?”
“Is it workin’?”
You smiled and took another puff. “Listen, Dixon. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about us. And I miss you. And I don’t wanna waste any more time. I wanna be with you. But I’m terrified of you now. I can’t… You can’t leave me again like that. And I just can’t believe you right now when you say you won’t.”
“What can I do to make ya?”
You shook your head. “I don’t know. I just need time, I guess. But I wanna go back to Alexandria soon. It’s been two months, and Michonne needs me. And I miss the kids.”
“I’ll come with ya.”
“Are you sure about that?”
He nodded and reached out to grab you but let his hand drop. “‘M goin’ anywhere ya go. Ya wanna go to Hilltop, Oceanside, California. I ain’ ever leavin’ ya side.”
“And if I get sick of you?”
“Just gonna have to deal with me, then.”
You chuckled and took one last hit of the cigarette. You felt calmer. Then you put it out on the ground. “Alright then.”
“Can I show ya somethin’? Might help make ya believe me.”
***
Two days later, you were bundled underneath a thick jacket, a hat, and gloves--Daryl’s orders. You’d ridden most of the way there on horseback with Jerry, but when you got to a part, Daryl had you get off the horse and load up on supplies. Then Jerry left with both horses and told you someone would be back in two days.
No matter how often you asked Daryl where he was taking you, he didn’t answer. And you didn’t realize where you were until you recognized the river. But you continued on its side for about an hour before following Daryl fully into the woods.
“If my mom saw me following a man into the woods like this…” You trailed off, adjusting the straps on your bag. You didn’t even know what it was, but it was heavy.
Daryl stopped and turned around to look at you. “It ain’ count if the man’s ya husband.” His voice was hoarse and deep as ever. He reached out his hand, and you grabbed it, intertwining your fingers together. “‘Sides, we almost there. Watch out for the traps, put ‘em all ‘round.”
You hummed and walked alongside of him, keeping an eye on the ground. Daryl was creative when it came to traps and snares; you remembered it well from the prison.
“‘Aight, here ya go.”
You looked up from the ground and saw what he was nodding his head toward, and you laughed. You laughed so hard you felt tears in your eyes. “Oh my God, you did not…”
Daryl smiled down at you. “Took me three years. Started it the day ya threw the ring at me.”
You shook your head, dropped his hand, and walked toward the treehouse. It was built around one of the biggest trees with many branches. You knew most of the wood had come from the bridge because it still looked perfect and new. But it was definitely weathered.
“Why did… how did…?” You were at a loss for words.
“I didn’ realize that was what I was doin’ until I started. Think I just needed to keep myself busy.”
You turned around and looked at him. His cheeks were red and he was avoiding eye contact. You walked up to him and grabbed his face before kissing him deeply. When you finally had to come up for air, you smiled. “I love you, Daryl Dixon.”
His hands squeezed your waist. “I love ya more, Dixon."
You could hardly wait to see it and played with your fingers while Daryl climbed up the rope and then threw you down a rope ladder. There was no way you would’ve been able to climb it now, not while you were still healing.
“Good thing I made it,” Daryl said, helping you to the platform. You weren’t as high up as your old treehouse down south, but it was at least eight feet up. “Almost didn’.”
You nodded at his words and moved aside from him, going inside the space. You dropped your bag as you walked around. It wasn’t anything crazy. It was a decent-sized open space with a few open holes for windows. There was a small stone fireplace that he’d actually built into it, so you knew there was a chimney. And then, on the opposite side was a raised platform where you assumed a bed was supposed to go.
“I can’t…” You stumbled over your words as you looked around again.
Daryl leaned against the doorway and stared at you with a small smile. “Never thought I’d get to see ya here.”
“You did this for me?” You asked.
He nodded and set his bags down and pulled the door closed. “Stole a bunch a shit from the Hilltop. And Carol let me borrow some supplies.”
“Daryl, this is incredible.” You walked over to one of the windows and felt the cold breeze on your face. You could see snow flurries. Then you felt hands on your hips and stood up straight so your back was against his chest.
“Ya deserve more.”
You turned around. “No, you deserve more. I’m sorry for everything, Daryl. I mean it. I’m sorry for leaving. I’m sorry for that fight. I’m so sorry for pushing you the way that I did. I think about it all the time. I stopped trying too, and I-.”
“(Y/N), shut the hell up,” Daryl grunted. “We can just start over, here and now. Whatta say?”
You wrapped your arms around his neck and played with the back of his hair. “I think that that sounds perfect.”

Tulips
Yan! Chuuya x gn! reader Tw: implied murder, implied stalking, kidnapping, implied drugging
You didn’t know how or why he chose you, you don’t know why Chuuya took interest in an ordinary cafe worker; but he did.
Every day he would walk in, three o’clock sharp. He always brought flowers, chocolates, or other gifts of the sort and gave them to you. He’d request that you make his coffee too. At the time you didn’t know he was in the Port Mafia. How would you know?
On one particular day, he had waited for you to get off work. You don’t know why he was waiting, and frankly you didn’t want to find out. He was nice and all, but you weren’t looking for a relationship. You had just been presumingly dumped. Your boyfriend of six months ghosted you out of nowhere about a month ago, and honestly you can’t find yourself to care that much.
You tried to leave without the ginger man noticing you, but he was watching you the whole time. “Hey, Y/N!” he shouted, catching up to you. Once he was walking beside you he asked if you liked the flowers.
“They’re nice, tulips are my favorite. Thank you, I have to go.” you said quickly, trying to leave.
He put his arm in front of you, stopping your movements. “Woah, wait a second-”
“Excuse me?” you said, offended he was blocking your path. You just wanted to get home.
“Sorry, I was hoping we could talk?” He put his arm down.
“Sorry but I can’t-”
For a second his face turned dark. “Please, Y/N.”
You sighed, you just wanted to go home.
“Alright.”
The whole conversation that he was so eager to have with you was the reason you find yourself in this unfamiliar room. Unable to leave.
He had confessed his attraction to you, and you told him you weren’t interested. You didn’t even know anything aside from his name. You should’ve known he wouldn’t leave you alone.
The next day, he came late. He came right at the end of your shift, at 6pm.
He had a box of chocolates and an apologetic look on his face. “I’m sorry about yesterday, I didn’t mean to come off like that.” He handed you the box and you took it. You would’ve felt bad if you hadn’t. It also helped that you loved chocolate.
When you got back to your small, one-bedroom apartment, you noticed your window open. That was odd, you usually shut it. You shut and locked the window. You opened the box of chocolate and took just one. You bit into it and it tasted amazing. He always got the best chocolate you must admit.
You went to your bathroom and got your daily bath ready. Your body started feeling tired and your head was aching. You could feel yourself begin to sway as your eyesight started getting hazy. Before you knew it, you couldn’t stand and you fell. You could hear the bathroom door open and the last thing you remember seeing was a pair of black shoes in front of your face.
When you woke up you were terrified. There was no light, it was pure darkness. You couldn’t move your hands, something was restraining you to some sort of board. You were laying down on something comfortable, a bed.
You started yelling for help. None came.
You had no time on what day it was, when you got here, or even what time it was. You felt yourself start to cry.
That’s when you saw a sliver of light and a creaking sound come with it. A few moments after that the lights came on. It took your eyes a second to adjust to the sudden light. Then you saw him, the guy you had rejected the day before.
“Chuuya.” you attempted to sound strong, but it came out more as a weak croak from your crying just moments before.
He looked at you, satisfactory evident on his face.
“Chuuya, please help me.” you pleaded.
“We both know I can’t do that.” He said as he started walking towards you.
Realization hit you. “Did you do this to me?”
He bent down and got close to your face. He moved your hair behind your ear before kissing your cheek. Dread pooled in your stomach.
“I know you’re gonna want to run away, so I had to cuff you–but you can gain my trust over time, okay Love?”
“Chuuya,” you whispered
“Hmm?” “If you let me go, I won’t tell a soul– I promise.”
He stood up. “I can’t.”
A tear slid down your cheek and he wiped it away, he looked at you with pity. “You’ll learn to love me and accept this, my lovely.”
He turned to walk to the door, “I’ll be back later, I promise. I have to go finish up some stuff with work, okay?”
“Chuuya.”
He stopped and looked at you. “What is it?”
“People are going to notice my absence, they’re gonna look for me.. And you’re gonna face heavy consequences if you don’t let me go! Please for you and me..”
He laughed at you.
“Like how they noticed your boyfriend’s absence?”
Time seemed to stop. He couldn’t have, could he? You felt sick, you wanted to die.
“Cheer up, your eyes are going to get puffy.” he joked.
Then the lights went out again.
What did I do to deserve this, you asked yourself over and over again.
You didn’t ask for this.
You didn’t want this.

Everyone’s good energy really helped me yesterday so thank you. I’ll try to make this as brief as possible lol. I’d like to say that being a weekday and knowing we both worked the next day I didn’t think we’d spend the night together. She picked me up and brought me flowers which was so cute and all but I don’t own a fucking flower vase so I put them in a mixing bowl before leaving. She looked stunning! We grabbed dinner and then we went to a board game house. She insisted we play jenga again and I won one of the three times we played🤣 The place was pretty spacious and so we were pretty much alone in our corner. We got to talking and she asked me if I voted. I told her I did and she asked me for who. In my head I was like *bro this is about to go south* I told her I voted Harris Walz and she said “oh thank god, I thought i was going to have to cut the date short but thankfully not” and then I was like “huh got big plans”, bro she gave the EYES. We played a couple more bored games because I unfortunately do not know how to play any of the card games she wanted *I felt so much shame 🙃 like I don’t remember how to play go fish*
We walked around for a bit holding hands and it was all really nice. She’s so smart and kind. She drove me back home and I invited her in. I give her a tour of my place and on my desk she picks up the postcard that ACFC handed out at the last home game. And I let her to see if it prompts up her knowing of the team or recognizing Christen. YOO she says “I know her! I’ve seen her naked” when I tell you I cracked tf up. I asked her why and she tells me she lived in Chicago for two years and her friend took her to a Red Stars game!! I was like omg wth! I guess she saw CP and told her she was hot and as a birthday gag gift the friend gifted her Christen’s body issue and she kept it since then. I was like “wow what a coincidence I also think she’s hot” I then gave her a brief rundown on why I have the postcard, Christen, and being an ACFC STH. She doesn’t know woso and that game was her first but if things work out I’ll make sure it isn’t her last 👀
We chilled and then slept together 😩 I told her to stay because it was pretty late (or early depends how you look at it). She agreed and then we went out to her car and she had an overnight bag stashed in her trunk with her night stuff and clothes for work 🤭 I told her “ wow you came prepared” and we went inside got ready for bed and she did her whole night time skin care routine in the bathroom and it felt so nice doing such mundane stuff with someone. We cuddled and when I woke up this morning around 6:45 she was gone no note or text. I was like okay wow and she calls me 30 min later to open the door. SHE SHOWED UP WITH A FUCKING FLOWER VASE from the Vons a couple blocks from my place, looking so gorgeous in her clothes for work. I made some omelets and smoothies for breakfast. And then we both got ready and went about leaving for work.
I have now changed my plans and will be watching the pink flops game tomorrow night at my place with her. I’m just hoping they don’t let me down tomorrow because depending on how the game goes I could very well give her the ick. 🤣 I asked her out for the 2nd date on Sunday, so feel free to leave suggestions. thank you all for your interest in this
P.s I need advice on when to tell her I’m not out to my family 😔
-Age gap body issue french toast hookup anon
Oh my fucking god anon you hit the JACKPOT with this one! lol wow, I am very impressed with her game! How sweet is it that she went to get you a vase!
So happy for you! Sounds like you really like her and she CLEARLY really likes you! All these shows of effort! I tell ya, the dream!
Here you go, anons. I know you've been waiting on an update lmao!

chapter 1 | chapter 2 | chapter 3
The next morning, I woke up bright and early and went straight to the hospital. My parents showed up soon after me, worry a mask on their faces.
“Y/N, sweetheart, are you okay?” My mom asked, fretting over me momentarily out of nervousness.
“I’m fine, Mom.”
“I know how much you love him, I’m just worried about you. He’ll be ok, he’s a strong boy!”
“I know,” I smiled politely, but she was more optimistic than I was.
“Honey, why don’t you let her breathe? She’s stressed enough already,” Dad stepped in, pulling Mom away. “How is Steve, anyway?”
“Stable. Still in a coma. That’s all I know,” I shrugged, “They’ve told me more than anyone else but I’m not family so there’s only so much they can share.”
“That’s ridiculous. Where is his actual family at?” Mom outbursted, “I bet they’re not even concerned. They couldn’t care less about their own son! God, I’ve been more of a mother to him than that dreadful woman!”
“I know,” I sighed, “I’m not happy about it either, but it is what it is.”
“Maybe I could have his dad call the hospital and tell them to treat us as his family in their absence?” Dad suggested.
“Not a bad idea, they could sign a release or something.”
So he pulled out his phone and dialed Mr Harrington up, getting him after a few rings. He walked out of the waiting room and into the hallway to talk to him and Mom sat beside me, stroking my hair.
“What’s going on in that head of yours?” she asked me, “You’ve got that look in your eye.”
“What look?”
“The guilty look.”
“I don’t have a guilty look.”
“You’ve been my baby for decades, I think I know your looks. Spill!”
I sighed, “I saw Steve yesterday, before he got called into work and got hurt. He came to the music shop and brought me flowers, then took me out to eat. We went back to his house to hang out and, Mom, he has this huge picture of me on his dresser. Not me and him, just me. Like I’m his wife or something. I got overwhelmed when I saw it and I went off on him.”
“Why’d you go off on him for having a picture of you? I’d imagine that’s a good thing!”
“Because I’m sick of being lead on,” I shrugged, “Or at least I was. But now I’d let him lead me on forever if it meant he wakes up healthy and happy.”
Suddenly, a thoughtful look crossed her face. She bit her lip as if she was holding something back, and furrowed her brows.
“What is it?” I asked.
“You need to talk to your father about this.”
“Why?”
“Because he knows Steve better than you think, and I think he’d know exactly how to make you feel better about all this.”
“I will later,” I nodded, leaning back in my chair and waiting for Dad to get off the phone.
Only a few minutes later, he did exactly that, walking back into the room.
“They’re calling the hospital now and asking about faxing a release. Y/N should be informed of everything from now on.”
“Perfect!” Mom clapped, a small smile crossing her face.
“I’m gonna see if we can go in there with him.”
I walked to the nurse’s desk and asked, and she said yes, so I lead my parents into his room. He looked just as rough as the day before and my heart shattered a little bit.
“Oh,” my mom sighed, and I could tell her heart was breaking as well just looking at him. She and Dad really did care a lot for Steve. They always had. He was included in family trips, family photos, everything. They basically adopted him the second we became friends. I think at first they just felt bad for him, but it didn’t take long for pity to turn into love. He had that affect on everyone, everyone but his own family.
I sat in the chair by his bed, grabbing his fragile hand in my own and squeezing lightly.
“Hey Steve,” I quietly greeted, “I brought Mom and Dad to see you. I knew you’d want them here.”
My naive heart waited for a response, but of course, there was none. I could feel the pitiful eyes of my parents burning into my skull.
About an hour passed of them simply sitting with me. A couple other people dropped in, some of the firemen and Robin to be exact. Eddie was at work and wasn’t able to make it yet, but he had called me to see if everything was okay.
“You guys don’t have to stay here all day, I’m okay,” I told Mom and Dad.
“We’ll stay here until they make us leave.”
I smiled lightly at that, turning back to Steve. “You hear that? I think they like you more than they like me.”
“I’m gonna go get something to eat from the cafeteria,” mom got up suddenly, “but I think you two should talk.”
“About what?” Dad asked, but I knew.
She didn’t bother answering him, just shood him my way before making her exit.
“Tactful,” I scoffed, smoothing out Steve’s sheets and making sure he was covered up enough to be warm. If my dad noticed, he said nothing, watching in silence as I doted over the closest thing he had to a son.
“What’s going on, Y/N?” he asked.
“Well…. nothing, really, it’s just I feel a bit guilty because I went off on Steve yesterday before the accident. I yelled at him to stop leading me on and then I left even though he begged me to stay. I wouldn’t even let him get a word in.”
“I see,” he nodded in understanding, “And I heard from one of the firemen that he was on the way to the cabin when he got called in. Is that why?”
“Yes,” I nodded, “I mean, I’m assuming. I’m sure he wanted to make things right. Steve never could leave well enough alone.”
“Not when it comes to you, at least.”
“I can’t help thinking I messed things up for good. What if I never get to apologize?”
“You will, but you don’t have to. He forgave you before the words even came out of your mouth. He loves you that way.”
“I know, I know. I’m his best friend, he’d never hold anything against me.”
“No, Y/N, you don’t know,” Dad sighed, “Steve and I go golfing every month. It started as a way to cope with you being gone, both of us missed you and honestly I missed him. He’s like my own son and when you stopped being around, he stopped hanging around. We golf all day and then head to the house and your mom makes us a great spread of dinner.”
“I know that already, Dad. He told me.”
“What you don’t know is that the fifth or sixth time we golfed, he’d gotten real comfortable with me and started talking to me. He told me, ‘Mr. L/N, if Y/N ever comes back I swear I’m gonna marry her.’ I asked him what in the world he was on about and he told me that he knew you were the only woman he’d ever want the second he laid eyes on you at Scoops Ahoy. Nobody ever compared for him. None of those girls meant a quarter as much as you. Why do you think he hasn’t had a girlfriend all these years?”
“Are you saying Steve is in love with me?”
“Steve has been in love with you just as long as you’ve been in love with him.”
“Why didn’t you ever tell me? I would’ve come home right then!”
“Because, sweetheart, you were chasing a dream bigger than me or Steve or anyone. You flew away and I didn’t know if you wanted to come back, you seemed happy where you were. I didn’t wanna burden you with things that would make you feel guilty. Besides, I promised him I wouldn’t tell.”
“But you just did.”
“I don’t think he’d mind,” he winked, “I’m gonna go meet your mom in the cafeteria. You say your piece. He can hear you, you know.”
I smiled lightly as he walked away, turning to my handsome, bandaged up boy the second he was gone.
“Why didn’t you ever tell me, Steve?” I implored, sadness overtaking me. “This could’ve been so different. I never would’ve left.”
My parents stayed the whole day, just as they said they would, and they came back every day to check in. They really were worried about him, and about me as well. I never left his side. I was there every day, all day. And nobody seemed to mind. They all just respected me for what I apparently was; the girl Steve was in love with. But was I, though? All those things my dad said, I believed them but a lot of time had passed since then, and a lot of anger and distance had built up. There was a chance he didn’t even feel that way anymore. There was a chance he didn’t even mean it when he said it.
Two days before Halloween, Robin asked me what I planned on doing. She told me she was set to go trick or treating with Eddie and Candy, and they both wanted me to tag along. Apparently it was a tradition for all of them, and then afterwards they’d leave her with Wayne and do whatever adult activities they could find.
“Oh, Robin, that’s sweet but isn’t that you guys’ thing? I don’t want to intrude,” I spoke into the receiver of my cell phone from Steve’s bedside.
“Y/N, shut up. You’re just as much a part of this group as any one of us. And Candy specifically asked for you. She said she thinks you’re nice.”
I sighed, “Okay. Fine. It’ll have to be after visiting hours, though, I can’t leave Steve here alone until I absolutely have to.”
“Great! We’ll all meet at Eddie’s after visiting hours and go from there, sound good?”
“Yeah, where does he live now again?”
“He has a trailer, not far from the cabin. I’ll send you the address. Oh, and you have to dress up. Participation rules!”
“Robin, I am not in a dress up mood,” I scoffed.
“Y/N,” she sighed, “Nobody wanted to talk to you about this because we didn’t want to make you feel worse than you already do, but everyone agrees that you need a distraction. Something to cheer you up.”
“Who is everyone?”
“Me, Eddie, your parents. Wayne. My parents. The other guys from the station. Everyone. Steve is in a coma, but you’re not. You’ve got to carry on living.”
“So you’ve all been talking about me?” I asked, “Robin, if this is about me not being at the music shop I-“
“It’s not,” she assured, “Don’t even worry about that. I told you, stay with Steve however long you need and come back when you’re ready. Your job will be there. I’m not hiring anyone else, even if you don’t come back until he wakes up.”
I sighed, “Fine. You’re right. I’ll dress up and try to have the best time I can.”
We hung up, and I couldn’t help but feel the faintest spark of excitement, followed by guilt. I desperately needed something, anything besides a stale coma ward room. The only company I’d had that whole month was the people who visited Steve, never surprised to find me there perched beside him.
I didn’t have a lot of time to throw a costume together, but I managed. I was quite proud of it, actually.
I changed in the en suite hospital room bathroom, looking myself over in the mirror, cringing at the awful fluorescent lighting. I still looked cute though, or at least I thought I did.
I walked out of the room and did a little spin for Steve’s lifeless form, pretending he could see me for the sake of it.
“How do I look?” I asked, then followed up with, “I’m gonna pretend you said I look great.” I giggled at myself and sat back down beside him, “Only about five minutes until they kick me out. I wish you could come with us tonight, it would be so much more fun with you. This is my first Halloween here in years! Remember the last one we spent together? Oh, it was so much fun. Much better than that year’s Christmas party. I still cant believe you punched that guy!” If he’d been awake, he would’ve laughed at that, and I would’ve loved the sound. “I dressed up as an angel again. You liked my costume so much that night, I just had to recreate it for you, even if you won’t see it. You always did like me best in white. If Robin was here, she’d say it’s because white makes you think about us getting married. I don’t know about that, though. But I know I like that look you give me when you see me in it.” I sighed at the dead air between us, giving his hand a tight squeeze, “I wish you were awake, talking back to me. I can’t make it much longer without you, Stevie. I miss you, so much it’s killing me. I wish I hadn’t screamed at you that day. I should’ve just been honest about how I feel instead of lashing out about it. I know that now, but it’s too late.”
“Y/N,” the nurse, an older woman I’d become quite familiar with, interrupted, “Finish up as quick as you can. Visiting hours are over.”
“Yes ma’am,” I smiled as she walked away. I turned back to Steve and left him with the words, “I love you. I’ll see you tomorrow” and a kiss on the forehead.
Once I got to Eddie’s, I was struck with a bolt of pride at what I saw. He didn’t live in a trailer park, he owned his own trailer on about two acres of land. It was a nice one, too. One of those remodeled units with nice painted shutters and clean vinyl. And beside it was a little shed, overflowing with Candy’s toys and such. I imagined it was supposed to be his before she overtook the space with her things and smiled.
He opened the door, a grim look on his face and his daughter crying in his arms.
“Oh goodness, what’s wrong?” I asked.
“All month she’s wanted to be a fairy. Now, the day of halloween right before we go trick or treating, she wants to be a princess. The costume store is closed, there’s nothing that’ll make her happy.” He sounded simply exhausted, and my heart squeezed with pity.
“Hold on,” I offered, running to my car and rifling through a bag in the backseat full of rejected costume items. In it was a golden tiara with pink jewels on it, cheap but cute and it matched what Candy was wearing. I brought it back and presented it to her with a, “Tada!”
Her little eyes widened, taking in what I handed her as Eddie helped put it on her head. “Thank you!” she squealed.
“You wanna take the wings off or leave them on and be a fairy princess?” I asked.
“Leave them on,” she smiled, “Why don’t you have wings? You’re an angel! We could match!”
“I was supposed to but they were itchy,” I cringed and she giggled, reaching out for my hand. She jumped out of her dad’s arms and dragged me into the living room.
“Come look at my bag!” she ordered sweetly, and I obliged, taking in the pumpkin shaped monstrosity with a smirk.
“She’s showed me her bag ten times already, wonder how many times she’ll show it to you?” Robin chuckled, and I followed.
“It’s cute!” I assured.
We all piled into Eddie’s car, me in the back with Candy because she wanted to sit by me.
“How’s Steve?” Eddie asked on the way to whatever neighborhood we were going to.
“Same as he was a week ago,” I shrugged, casting my eyes down.
“Well same is better than worse, right?”
“I suppose so.”
Robin and Eddie exchanged a look, but then they dropped the subject as if they were silently agreeing it was better not to talk about it.
We arrived at a small park a few minutes later, parking next to a bunch of other cars and getting out. We looked silly, for sure. An angel, Jessie from Toy Story and what Eddie called a “sexy mechanic” but was really just him in blue coveralls and a wife beater, except the cover alls were tied around his waist. I suspected he pulled a couple random items from his closet and threw them together, but I had to admit, he looked nice. The short hair worked better for him than I would’ve ever thought, and while I missed his curls, he looked handsome and grown up. I was struck again with that bolt of pride for him and all he’d accomplished.
Candy wanted to stick beside me, so I held her hand as we walked from house to house. One house we came to was particularly nice, a sign out front that said “the Byers” in a nice cursive font. We knocked and, once the door opened, I gasped at who I saw.
There was Nancy, a baby in one arm and a bowl of candy in the other. The baby was cute, too.
Her eyes got a little wider when she saw me, “Y/N!” she exclaimed, “You’re the last person I expected to see tonight!”
“Hey Nance,” I grinned, “I know! I moved home a couple months ago!”
“That’s great! For good?”
“I think so, yeah,” I nodded. Things between Nancy and I had always been a bit awkward, granted I hadn’t talked to her in years or seen her. When she dated Steve, I tried to like her but she was always a bit cold towards me and then when she cheated on him I just gave up trying. Now, I didn’t know the dynamic, but it didn’t feel awkward at all. Just unfamiliar.
“Oh Steve must be thrilled about that. Does he know or did you get here after the accident?”
“No, he knows. I was with him that day, actually, until he got called into work.”
“Oh… Me and Jonathan went to the hospital to visit, but the nurse said a girl was there and I didn’t want to interrupt. That must’ve been you?”
“Yeah, I’ve been there every day. But you wouldn’t be interrupting anything! You should come by tomorrow, I think he’d like that!”
“Okay! We will!” she smiled, handing a chocolate bar to Candy. I couldn’t help but notice the flashy ring and band on her hand as she did so, and I grinned, happy they made it.
“That was weird,” Robin mumbled as we walked away.
“Not really,” I shrugged, “I figure it’s time we buried whatever hatchet there was. Guess we’ll see how it goes tomorrow.”
We hit a few more houses, and Candy got some really great stuff. Full sized bars, stuffed animals, all the fancy little treats. I was actually impressed. Finally, we reached the end of the street and she looked exhausted.
“Tired?” I asked her, giggling as she leaned into Eddie and almost fell over. She nodded, reaching up for him to pick her up but he was already carrying her bag and a separate bag full of extra stuff.
“Here, I’ll get you,” I sighed, and she nodded, reaching up to me instead and letting me carry her back to the car.
Once we were all settled in and on the way back to Eddie’s, we all breathed out a sigh of relief.
“I love doing this every year but I’m so glad it’s over,” Robin stated, and we all nodded in agreement.
“At least it passed faster than last year. Steve always wants to stop and talk to everyone he sees, it’s so exhausting,” Eddie chuckled.
“Yeah but I missed him, though. I wonder what he would’ve dressed up as?”
“Probably whatever Y/N told him to.”
I perked up at that, “I would’ve forced him to be a devil. Cause I’m an angel.”
“That would’ve been some freaky se-“
“Robin!” Eddie scolded, “Candy is in the back seat!”
“She’s sleeping, you nitwit. Obviously I would never say that if she could hear me.”
I looked over and, sure enough, she was dead to the world, her head reclined against her car seat.
We made a quick stop at Wayne’s, and Eddie gently carried Candy inside then returned to the car. “Where to now?” he asked us.
“24/7 liquor,” Robin perked up and suggested, eliciting smiles from both of us.
“Wanna get drunk in the hospital parking lot so Steve can kinda sorta be with us?” Eddie asked me, smirk on his face, and though the idea was admittedly flawed, I couldn’t help saying yes.
Eddie got a case of beer for himself, Robin bought a bottle of rum and I settled on two bottles of wine. I was positive none of us would drink all of what we had, but regardless, we were prepared.
Once we pulled into the parking lot, we all settled in comfortably, seats leaned back and limbs thrown wherever they fit. Surely there was some camera watching us and we’d get in some kind of trouble. None of us cared much. Eddie was a fireman, so he went hand in hand with the hospital and the law, and he had our backs. The whole fire station had our backs, really. They’d all grown a liking to me over the time I’d spent in that hospital room, visiting and talking with them like they were family or old friends.
I unscrewed the cap of my moscato and started with a big gulp, earning a giggle from Robin. “I know things are tough, Y/N, but they can’t be that bad.”
“I gotta drink double in Steve’s honor!” I exclaimed, taking another gulp. They followed suit, taking big swigs of their own.
“So. When the dingus pulls out of this coma, what happens?” Robin asked me suddenly.
“What do you mean?”
“Well you had that whole falling out with him and now he definitely knows beyond the shadow of a doubt how you feel, and I hope by now you know how he feels too.”
“I’m still not convinced he sees me that way, guys. A couple of cryptic comments does not a love story make.”
“Yeah, but it’s not just cryptic comments. He’s flat out told people how he feels and they tell you and you don’t believe them.”
“Maybe,” I shrugged, thinking it over, “I don’t know, I’m hoping he’ll get better and we’ll just forget all about it and pretend it never happened.”
“What if he does something crazy like propose marriage?” Eddie mused with a chuckle.
“Nah,” Robin shook her head, “Steve wouldn’t do that. Not right after getting out of a coma. My bet is they date for a year and he has us help him plan some extremely elaborate proposal and he’ll get me to help him pick the perfect ring.”
“Probably. What do you think the wedding would be like?”
“Guys!” I huffed, “I’m right here!”
“Well then tell us, what kind of wedding would you want?”
“Are we seriously talking about this?” I scoffed and they nodded, so I sighed and gave in. “I want a Christmas wedding with lots of red and green, lots of Christmas lights, a big beautiful tree. Christmas themed food and drinks. I want it to be like a winter wonderland.”
“I think Steve would like that. Then again you guys have never disagreed on anything.”
“That’s not true!” I half shouted, “We disagree all the time!”
“About what?”
“Well… about…. things!”
“What things?”
“Well I can’t think of them off the top of my head.”
“Sureeeeee,” they laughed as we all drank some more.
The night passed by entirely too quickly, but it was the most fun I’d had since Steve got hurt. I really appreciated being invited, and the fact that they’d been there for me in what was such a hard time.
The next morning, I showed up at the hospital bright and early, dressed comfy and warm. I looked a little worse for wear from the tiny hangover I was sporting, but it wasn’t bad at all. Just a little messy hair and dark circles under my eyes.
“Morning Steve,” I grinned as I sat beside him, grabbing his hand like always. I proceeded to tell him all the details of the night before, sparing none on the off chance that he could in fact hear me and wanted to know how Halloween went without him. “I’m probably gonna have to tell you all this again when you wake up, huh? Well it’s a good thing I never get tired of talking to you.”
“Y/N?” a voice called from behind me, and I turned to see Nancy, baby in her arms.
“Hey Nance,” I smiled.
“You look better than I expected. No hangover, huh?” she returned the polite gesture.
“No, not today. I’m surprised, I drank a lot!”
“I’m glad you all had a good time! A few years ago I would’ve offered to join the fun but those days are over for us.” She gazed sweetly at her baby and I couldn’t help but grin.
“Well, I think it’s great that you’re focusing on your family! I always knew you’d be a great mom. You just have that way about you.”
“Yeah, well, I hope so! It gets difficult sometimes and I feel like I don’t do enough but then he smiles at me and speaks his baby gibberish and the world fades.”
“He’s so cute,” I pouted just looking at his smooshy face, and she raised a brow at me.
“Wanna hold him?”
“I - I couldn’t,” I shrugged sheepishly.
“Believe me, you could. I hold him all the time, I love giving other people a turn!”
“Well… if you’re sure,” I reached out as she placed him securely in my arms. I melted instantly, rocking him gently back and forth. “He’s so perfect, Nance. I just adore him.”
“Just wait til you and Steve have one. It’s gonna be a whole different level of adoration.”
“Oh - me and Steve, we’re just friends,” I laughed her words off like they were nothing.
“You’ve both been saying that since high school and it’s not any more believable now than it was then.”
“You, you dated him in high school. Why would he date you or anyone else if he liked me?”
“Because he’s stupid. Believe me, he wished I was you. Why do you think I hated you so much?”
“I just assumed you didn’t like my personality.”
“Y/N, you’re like, the sweetest girl ever. Hating you was hard because you never gave me anything to work with. But I knew how he felt about you, so I couldn’t exactly like you either.”
“Well, I think you’re exaggerating. He loved me as a best friend. Or a sister, even.”
“Best friends and siblings don’t sneak off in the middle of the night to skinny dip together, you weirdo.”
I laughed at her bluntness, “I guess that’s true. But either way, your feelings for Jonathan are what broke you guys up. Not Steve’s feelings for me.”
“You’re right, and I wouldn’t have it any other way, but you should know that when I started caring about Jonathan, I stopped disliking you. Mostly because I finally understood how Steve felt. How awful it can feel to be with the wrong person. But I acted on it, and Steve never did. I think that says a lot about the kind of man he is.”
“Well I never disliked you. Not even when you cheated on him. I mean, I wasn’t thrilled with you, but I didn’t like, curse your grandchild’s cow or anything.”
“You’re so weird,” she laughed, walking over to Steve’s bedside. “I hope it works out for the two of you, I’d love if you stayed. Maybe we could finally have a chance at being friends?”
“I’d like to be friends,” I nodded.
“I hardly get to have intelligent conversations these days, with Jonathan working all the time. Let alone girl talk!”
“I have Robin but sometimes girl talk is hard with her. She’s very… unconventional. In the nicest most loving possible way!”
“I know what you mean. All of my friends have kind of embraced the party girl life, and the few that settled down have more kids than I do so they’re always busy.”
“Well I’m always here. And I never do anything after visiting hours, so I could come over one night if you wanted and we could have a good old fashioned sleepover?”
“That would be perfect! Maybe you could bring Eddie’s daughter? I have a feeling she never gets girl time and I bet he’d love the break!”
“Oh, that would be fun. And she likes babies so she’d definitely keep him occupied.”
“How about next week sometime?”
“That works for me.”
We made some more small talk, and we even included Steve in some conversations, though he couldn’t respond. But then the baby got fussy and she had to go. The next week, though, we had a sleepover just as we had planned, watching silly movies and doing a makeover with Candy. And after that, Nancy and Jonathan were invited every time we hung out.
Another month passed and suddenly it was Thanksgiving. My parents tried to convince me to spend it at home and not the hospital, but I wouldn’t budge so instead they just moved their celebration to evening instead of day so that I could join in.
I hung out with Steve for the whole day, then headed to my parents’ house to see the entire family already there.
“Y/N!” They all exclaimed when I walked in, and I gave everyone a quick hug. It was nice to see them all, I just wasn’t in much of a people mood, so I immediately sat down on the couch when greetings were over and leaned back into the cushions.
“How’s Steve?” Mom asked me.
“He’s okay. Still the same.”
“Oh honey, he’ll wake up soon. I just know it!”
“Maybe,” I shrugged, resting my eyes and waiting for dinner to be served.
Finally, a few minutes later, everyone piled their plates high with food and settled into the living and dining room.
I was interrupted in the middle of eating, though, by my phone ringing. It was the hospital. I dropped my plate on the table abruptly and answered, “Hello?”
“Miss Y/L/N?”
“Yes!”
“I was just calling to let you know that Steve has just woken up. You’re welcome to come and see him, the doctors are in with him right now but we’re allowing you to visit when they’re done if you’d like.”
“I’ll be right there!”
I didn’t even hesitate, grabbing my things and heading for the door. “Steve is awake,” I rushed out an explanation to my expectant mother, “I have to go.”
“Well do you want us to come with you?” she asked.
“No, stay and enjoy the holiday! I don’t want everyone to have to go home early!”
“Okay, well… call and update us! Give him our love!”
I nodded with a quick smile and left, gunning it to the hospital.
I rushed up to the coma ward, and the second the nurse saw me, she smiled.
“I’ve been waiting for you! The doctors are almost done, you can sit in the waiting room while they finish up!”
I nodded, walking to the small waiting room and eagerly pacing back and forth. It felt like it took forever for the doctors to walk in the room, but when they finally did, I breathed a sigh of relief.
“What’s going on? Is he okay?”
“He’s doing remarkably well. The only issue is that he doesn’t seem to remember the day of the accident at all. He says the last thing he remembers is putting up your Halloween decorations.”
“Oh,” I furrowed my brows, “But thats normal, right? And not a bad thing?”
“Not bad at all, and completely normal. With the kind of trauma his body went through, it’s natural that his brain suppressed it. It could eventually come back, or it could stay in a vault forever. But regardless, you’re welcome to see him now for a few minutes. He’s perfectly healthy from what we can tell, but we’ll be keeping him for the next two weeks just to make sure he doesn’t fall back into the coma.”
“Of course. Thank you, doctor,” I grinned, racing past him and into Steve’s room.
“Stevia!” I squealed as his eyes landed on me. He gave me a smile, the million dollar kind, reaching his hand out for me.
“There’s my girl,” he sighed, voice as content as can be and his eyes settled on me like they never wanted to look at anything else.
“I can’t believe you’re awake!” I grinned from ear to ear, sitting in my regular spot beside his bed and grabbing his hand.
“I’m so glad to be. I didn’t know how much longer I could listen to you talk and not be able to answer.”
“You could hear me?”
“Vaguely. Like it was a dream, but I caught some of it I think.”
“Oh, that’s so good! That means I wasn’t talking for nothing!”
“The doctors told me you didn’t leave my side the whole time I was here. Is that true?”
My cheeks flushed red and I stared down at my lap, “Yeah, I suppose it is.”
“There’s nobody else I would’ve wanted here.”
I couldn’t help the giddy look on my face, “A lot of other people visited too, you know. The whole fire station rotated in and out. My parents came a lot, and Robin and Eddie. Even Nancy stopped by with her new baby.”
“Nancy, huh? How is the baby anyway?”
“He’s the cutest thing ever.”
“I bet he just loves you,” he smirked, giving my hand a slight squeeze.
“I think he does,” I shrugged.
“My parents didn’t come by?”
“No. I’m sorry, they didn’t wanna interrupt their vacation. They called the hospital and put me in charge of everything.”
He nodded, “I expected as much.”
“Let’s talk about happy things, you just woke up!” I sighed, “Happy Thanksgiving!”
“Happy Thanksgiving,” he responded, “Wait, it’s Thanksgiving?”
“Yeah, and my entire family sends their love. They wanted to come but I didn’t wanna overload you with people.”
“Well… I’m really glad I got to spend it with you. Our first Thanksgiving together in what, 7 years?”
“Yes,” I nodded, “but you did miss Halloween. It was a lot of fun but I wish you’d been there.”
“I wish I’d been there, too. I bet you looked good in your costume.”
“Oh, shut up,” I laughed.
“No, really. You gotta wear it for me one day so I can see what I missed out on.”
“Well, you always did like me in white,” I smirked, batting my eyelashes at him.
“Oh, it was white? Damn, I really did miss out.”
“I’ll put it on for you as soon as you get out of the hospital.”
“Or you could wear it here tomorrow?”
“Wear a halloween costume to the hospital? That’s silly!”
“But it’s what I want!”
“Ugh,” I groaned, “Fine, but you owe me!”
“We can just call it even since, you know, you left for seven years and all.”
“But I also completely ditched my life so I could sit by your bedside crying over your lifeless body for two months, so…. We’re already even. You still owe me!”
Just then, the nurse walked in with an abrupt knock, “I’m sorry Y/N, you gotta go. You can come in again tomorrow during visiting hours. We’ll update you if anything happens tonight.”
“Okay, I’ll just say goodbye and be gone in a second,” I politely stated, and she nodded, leaving us in privacy. “Guess I have to go for the night.”
“It’s okay, I’ll see you in the morning, right?”
“Of course. And you can always call me if you need to,” I gestured to the bag in a corner of the room. His phone and charger were in it, and I quickly retrieved them for him, plugging the device in.
“Thank you. I - I don’t know what to say, I don’t know what I did to deserve you staying with me this whole time.”
“Steve,” I stopped him while he was ahead, “I’m never leaving you again.”
He looked like he might cry, overwhelmed with emotions and the stress from the coma. I leaned down and kissed his forehead, as I had been every night, and left.
Senior Year Christmas
The music was loud, drowning out all rational thought. I heaved out a deep sigh, wondering again why I let Steve talk me into having a party at the cabin. “It’ll be so much fun!” He’d said, his words a clever guise.
Now, where was he? Off in a corner talking to some guys he knew, while I sat on the couch, bored out of my mind, sick from the smell of shitty booze. He’d spent most of the night with me, as he always does, but I sent him away. After all the party was his idea, and I didn’t want to ruin it for him just because I wasn’t in a social mood.
“What’s got you so down, Y/L/N?” Danny Bolen, a boy from my grade, asked me, planting himself on the couch beside me. Danny was nice, the kind of guy who lent me pencils and complimented me in the school hallway.
“Just dreading cleaning all this up,” I shrugged, clinking my solo cup to his and taking a big swig.
“Harrington is gonna help, huh? And that band girl you always hang out with? And maybe that Munson kid too? I always see you around him.”
“Yes, of course, but they’re all drinking more than me, so..”
“Well I’d be more than happy to stay and help, too, if you’ll let me.”
I glanced at him to see only sincerity in his face, and I smiled, “That’s really sweet, Danny, but you don’t have to do that.”
“Nonsense, I want to. Especially if it’ll get you in a better mood, this is your party after all! Now what do you say we get you a fresh drink and try to have a good time?”
I nodded slowly, letting him grab my hand and hoist me off the couch. He walked with me to the kitchen and, once in the doorway, the people around us started to whoop.
“It’s mistletoe!” a girl yelled out, and I looked up to see that it was, in fact, mistletoe. I let out a sigh, glancing at Danny, and he looked just as awkward as I did.
“Who even put that there?” I asked him with a small giggle, and he shrugged. My mind drifted to Steve, wondering if he was witnessing the spectacle. I didn’t see him in the group crowded around us. “We don’t have to kiss, it’s just a silly tradition.”
“Yes you do! You HAVE to, those are the rules!” a random guy said, and I rolled my eyes.
“I’m fine with it if you are,” Danny said, low enough for only me to hear. After glancing at the eager people around us, I gave a curt nod.
He leaned in, and his lips touched mine just long enough for me to know it didn’t feel right, but I didn’t have to suffer it for long. There Steve was, pushing us apart, ripping down the mistletoe and throwing it in the trash.
“What’s your problem, dude?” Danny furrowed his brows and angrily asked Steve.
“No problem, it’s just a dumb tradition. I don’t think Y/N should have to kiss someone just because of a plant.”
“Is that it? Or do you just wish you’d been the one under it with her?”
“Don’t be ridiculous. I just… I want her to make her own decisions.”
“Steve,” I interjected with a hand on his arm. He turned to me sharply, expectantly. “I did make the decision. I told him it was okay.”
“You what?” he spat, “So what, you’re just kissing everybody now? Did Eddie get a turn? Bobby?” He turned to the closest guy to us, “What about you? Did you get a turn?”
“Steve!” I hissed, “Stop!”
“Seriously, man, just back off,” Danny spoke up, stepping between me and him.
“Oh, what a hero,” Steve rolled his eyes, shrugging off my arm, “The party is over, go home.”
“The party is over when she says it’s over,” Danny challenged.
“Danny, stop. Just go. All of you, please. Everybody.”
People filed out in droves at that, Danny lingering until the place was nearly clear and pulling me gently to the side.
“Are you okay here with him?” he asked me, nodding his head at Steve who was glaring intently in his direction.
“I am. He’s just angry for some reason, he’ll calm down when I talk to him.”
“I think I should stay here, you shouldn’t be alone.”
“I’m not alone.”
“Just in case he tries something, I-“
“Hold up,” I scoffed, “What are you trying to imply? I told you he’s just angry, he would never do anything to hurt me.”
“I’m sorry, I just don’t trust it. He’s not a good guy Y/N. I know you’re close or whatever but, listen, I’ve liked you for a long time and if you’d just realize he’s a piece of shit you’d see I could be so much better.”
“Get the fuck out of my cabin,” I growled, taking a step back.
“I’m just trying to-“
“I know exactly what the fuck you’re trying to do, you’re trying to weasel your way into my pants by being a hero. Well I don’t need a hero, I’m perfectly safe here with Steve and you can go the fuck home,” I went off. He looked taken aback for a moment before it turned to anger and he aggressively grabbed my arm, pulling me into him.
“I’ve been nothing but nice to you and you’re going to treat me like this? Do you even realize how much better I could do than you?”
“Let me go!” I squealed, trying to shake off his hold but failing. Steve once again interrupted us, though, pushing Danny roughly off of me.
“She said go the fuck home. Do I have to make you or are you gonna do it on your own like a big boy?”
“Fine, fuck this. She’s not pretty enough for me to care.”
He tried to storm out, but Steve grabbed him by the arm and yanked him hard, forcing him to turn around. Once they were face to face, Steve landed a hard right hook on the shorter boy’s jaw.
Danny grabbed the side of his face roughly, spitting out blood and glaring as he left. Steve turned to me, giving me a once over, eyes landing on my very red arm.
“He grabbed you that hard?” he asked, voice soft and sweet just for me, “Let me see.”
I pulled roughly out of his reach, “You need to go home too, Steve.”
“What?”
“It was your idea to have this stupid party and you ruined it! Why? I don’t understand what the big deal about me kissing him was!”
“I just-“
“Don’t even! You slut shamed me, too. YOU slut shamed ME! You have girl after girl falling at your feet and I haven’t dated anyone, not one single person, since the day I met you but you’re slut shaming me like I go around kissing ever man I see? Fuck you! Leave, now!”
“Y/N, please,” he huffed, hand resolutely on his hip.
“Steve, you made a scene. You embarrassed yourself and you embarrassed me by acting like a complete idiot. Thank you for getting him off of me but I don’t want you here.”
Our screaming match ended there, as he sadly cast his eyes downward.
“I’m sorry, I just… I just wanted to help,” he sighed, “I’ll see you later.”
As he walked outside, I was hit with a pang of guilt. I turned to Eddie and Robin and they both had shocked looks on their faces.
“I’m doing the right thing, making him go, right?”
They shrugged and I groaned, my head falling back. I knew I couldn’t go through with it.
I ran outside, just as Steve was climbing into his car. I was surprised to see it was raining, somehow I hadn’t noticed. I suppose I’d been distracted.
“Steve!” I screamed over the storm. He turned to me, expectant. “Come back!”
He did as I asked, “You changed your mind?” he inquired as he approached me.
“I know it’s bad at home. I’m not sending you back there. Not tonight.”
“I can go. I know you want me to.”
“No, I really don’t, I just want to know why you acted that way.”
“I don’t know why,” he shrugged, cupping my face in his hands and I shoved him off again.
“That’s bullshit, Steve,” I scoffed.
“I’m sorry, I just… I don’t know what came over me. I just got so angry when he kissed you, I don’t know why. I shouldn’t have said what I said. I don’t know what’s going on with me.”
“Well you need to figure it the fuck out because I don’t want this complicated mess. And if you can’t, I’ll leave.”
“What?”
“I’ve applied to a lot of colleges, Steve. Not all of them are close. I have my pick of them, too.”
His jaw hung open for a moment before complete melancholy overtook him, all the light draining from him. “Please,” he whimpered, “Don’t leave me. I promise I won’t ever act like that again. I swear, I’ll be better, I’ll do better for you. Please don’t leave me.”
He pulled me into a crushing hug and I sighed, giving into him like I always did. He was shaking against me, his clothes soaked and I was sure mine were too. He seemed so close to breaking down, terrified I would really leave him. Terrified to be without me. Despite it all, there was nothing better than his warmth wrapped around me.
“I’m not going anywhere, Steve.”
He held me for a while longer before pulling away slightly, “You’re freezing,” he commented, “Let’s go inside and get you some warm clothes.”
I nodded, following him back into the cabin and into my heart.

Valentine's Day Special #2 (JJK One shot)
Warnings: Suggestive parts from Suguru and Shoko but it's funny, I think that's it.
Pairing: Satoru Gojo x Fem!Reader
Here's Gojo's part I promised after my Toji one. A bit but here nevertheless.
“Sugu, have you gotten in touch with Toru? He hasn’t responded to any of my calls and texts this morning and class starts in 10 minutes.”
“Maybe Satoru forgot to charge his phone last night and is coming here with a dead phone. I mean we did have a late start today but you know how he is. Something wrong?”
“I thought I asked. I’m just a little worried, that’s all. Normally he would blow up my phone but not today. I hope he’s not sick.”
You sigh as you look at your phone to see if any more messages would be sent but none came. It was Valentine’s day today and everyone was giving their Valentine gifts to the one that gives them heart eyes. Some were cute, others were cheesy, and some were mid. You’d usually spend Valentine’s day alone or celebrate it with a few classmates. However, this year was different because you would actually be celebrating with Satoru. Initially, you were trying to play it cool and be all chill about it. Not making it a big deal. But you can’t help but feel giddy and a bit excited because you can spend the day with your boyfriend who was also your best friend.
However, Satoru’s lack of response made you a bit anxious with your foot rapidly bouncing and your eyes fidgeting between his empty desk and the clock. If he was sick and couldn’t come to school, you would understand. But Satoru wasn’t sick yesterday or showed no signs of any. You hoped that he was okay and nothing bad happened to him. With class starting in five minutes, you deflated into your seat and just wanted the day over with because it wasn’t going to be fun when Satoru’s absent.
Just as you were about to turn around and ask Suguru something, your classroom door slid open to reveal Satoru Gojo in the flesh. His face was covered by a bouquet of (favorite flowers) and a large shopping bag. Sugaru just smirks as you sit in shock before standing up to meet Satoru who was standing next to your desk.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Sweetheart!”
“Is this for me, Toru? Aww, thank you~! You shouldn’t have.”
You give him a quick peck on the cheek before taking your gifts and placing them on your desk. To everyone, Satoru brushed it off suavely while embracing his confident smile. But to you, and Suguru, Satoru was a lovesick fool who is screaming from joy on the inside.
You would have talked more but the bell rang so it will have to wait until break. Satoru sneaks a grin, sending a wink your way while you could only roll your eyes playfully.
“Sorry I didn’t answer your texts or calls this morning. I used the late start to pick up your gifts but I accidentally woke up later than expected. So I had to rush myself to get your things while trying to make it to school on time. I had to ask Suguru to distract you until I arrived.”
You glanced over at Suguru to confirm what your boyfriend said was true. All you were met with was whistling and his eyes were anywhere but on yours. You shake your head with a chuckle as you place your hand on Satoru’s bicep while walking to get some snacks.
“You had me worried, Satoru. I got scared for a second something happened to you. At least it’s good to know that you were okay.”
“I didn’t mean to! Look, I just wanted to surprise you. I just—you know— had a minor slip up. I just wanted to treat my favorite girl!” Satoru whines out trying to defend himself.
“Favorite girl? You mean I’m not the only one, Satoru?”
Satoru froze and had this look of absolute panic on his face. Suguru gave an accusatory look at Satoru’s way before you bursted out in laughter.
“Toru, I’m just messing with you! You look like you’re about to cry, I didn’t mean to get carried away like that! I know you love me, you simp. My one and only.”
The way his face shifted from panic, relaxed, to flustered was like a powerpoint where the teacher is changing slides too fast. The tips of his ears and the apples of his cheek were rosy pink. He tried to use his free hand to hide his blush but it was useless. Suguru just laughed at the expense of his friend.
It was interesting to spend Valentine’s with one of the school’s heartthrobs. Satoru’s fans are split down the middle between fangirling or mean mugging at you two. You honestly don’t care about the haters because they’re not the one dating Satoru. School goes on as per usual, Shoko came to hang during lunch because she was out on a field trip, and the occasional hallway confessions and gift giving. Once school ended, things were different. You assumed you would go back to your dorm and that’s the day.
But Satoru had other plans in mind. You were about to go grab yourself something at the local convenience store before seeing Satoru pull out in a slick black sports car. At this point, you wonder what Satoru didn’t have. Satoru said the day’s not over and he’s got stuff in store for you. He takes your stuff away inside the car before reaching his hand out towards you with the absolute rizz.
“Let’s get moving, Babe. I don’t want to waste a second today when I’m with you~” Satoru says with his overflowing rizz and charm.
You giggle like the high school girl you are and make your way over to him, taking his hand in yours.
“You two love birds have fun! Don’t go too crazy!” Suguru shouts from afar.
“If you guys do the deed, don’t forget to wrap it up, Satoru!” Shoko shouts after as she waves off to the two of you.
You both immediately got in the car, Satoru laughing his ass off with red all over while your whole body was ablaze and on fire. If it were possible, steam would be coming from your head. Once he comes down, Satoru starts driving you to treat you like the fucking queen you are. Satoru took you to all your favorite spots, stores, and places. He bought you anything you asked for, which were literally three items. He takes you to a crane game arcade and he won every single game you looked at on the first try, getting some of your favorite plushies in the process. God the way you smiled and eyes lit up made him so elated that his heart was going to burst. Genuine joy and whims of boyish youth surge through him as he realizes he can be himself around you.
Free from his title as a Gojo, free from being the heartthrob, free from being anything other than Satoru and your best friend/boyfriend. He wanted to feel like this everyday forever when he’s with you. Every now and then he kisses your hand as you go around to your heart’s content. You never had this much fun in your entire life until today and it was all boy you gave yourself to that was also your best friend. As naive it is to think, you knew you wouldn’t experience this with anyone else. For your boyfriend to also be your best friend was absolute bliss and you want both of you to cherish it forever.
You two sit on a bench in an empty park, staring up at the starry night sky while eating some daifuku together. Your hands interlaced and both of your heads lean onto each other. No talking, just silence and the sound of the city night life filled the air.
“I want to thank you for today, Toru. I had a wonderful time, and it’s because of you.”
“I should be thanking you, (Y/N). You showed me things I never thought I’d get to experience. You made me feel things I never thought I could feel until now. All thanks to you… I love you, (Y/N).”
Satoru turns to face while holding your hand up to his face to kiss it. You smile softly at him while unlacing your hand so you can cup his face gently. You giggle seeing his face sink slightly in your hold.
“I love you too, Satoru Gojo. For as long as we’re together, I will always love you.”
Pulling him in to share a sweet kiss until the gentle moonlight. Once pulling away, Satoru brings both your hands into his as he brings them to his chest, feeling his fast but strong heart beat. His eyes are full of sincerity and unwavering dedication, boring into your own.
“Then promise me, (Y/N), you will stay with me for the longest time. Not just spending the future Valentine’s days together, but to experience life with you by my side. Now and forever… my one and only…please…”
You see the yearning and devotion in his cerulean eyes that still shine in the midst of night. His words, his eyes, his heart reassured you with everything you needed to hear. Because being with Satoru Gojo is something you will never regret and neither did Satoru as he never regretted loving you and only you.
“Of course, Toru, I’ll be with you until the end of time. Now and forever, with my one and only, Satoru Gojo.”
At your confession, you saw a smile that Satoru gave you that will forever be etched into your memory. One you have the honor and privilege to see everyday as he does with yours.
There’s no telling what the future holds. But it’s guaranteed that there are many more Valentine’s days to be spent together with Satoru. In which one of them you are wearing a shiny ring. Then another where there’s an additional ring on top of your other one, you are seated close to your husband as your last name is now Gojo.
