memories that linger | love and deepspace
there's always been something pushing against you. and not in the metaphorical, woe is you sort of way, but in the way that... well, you can't quite put your finger on it. there's nothing metaphorical about it, you think, but anyone else would swear it's just your luck. you believe that, too, when you aren't so displeased with the way things are going. there is something that tries to force your hand, change the choices you want to make.
you realize that sounds crazy. that's why you keep it to yourself.
you've stopped resisting the push so much these days. you feel it like a hand upon your back, urging you forward and into the hunter association's ranks despite your dream of publishing your manga. it feels simultaneously wonderfully right and terribly wrong, though the development of certain events quickly steals your attention away from that invisible hand. you want answers. you need them, and you'll march in whichever direction that leads you to them.
additional details
in this verse, i'm writing chiyo as the mc and toying with the concept of past lives like the game does, though i may also sprinkle in a little itty bitty bit of fourth wall stuff -- like chiyo having the thought, " this is like a game, and someone else is making my choices. " as a treat <3
but the focus will be more on fate bc chiyo really hates it as a concept, and that's so much fun to write in this setting :' )
when interacting with other mc's, we can decide if we'd like our characters to just so happen to be in the same boat, having grown up with grandma and caleb, etc. if not, i have no problem writing chiyo in her main verse! there's plenty to work with either way and i'm happy to adapt!
bc chiyo's parents and grandmother play such important roles in her development, they're alive and well until wanderers kill them during chiyo's freshman year of high school. this event leads to josephine taking her in. she was a friend of the family and as good as a second grandmother to chiyo.
i'll likely think to add more when i'm not sleep-deprived and as i progress in the story, but if you have any questions, just let me know <3
#memories that linger | love and deepspace#i may have brainrotted so hard that it's 2:30 am........... i leave for my trip at 8........... anyway#ASDFGH I PROMISE I'M GOING TO SLEEP NOW!!#and i'll get to messages tomorrow!! i just gotta go to bed now that i'm done hyperfixating :' ))#and to anyone who is kind enough to indulge me in this verse ilu you have my heart <3#i think i'm happy overall with the concept -- chiyo literally feeling forced by something invisible to go in a different direction#than she wants#do y'all know how much she hates the idea of fate controlling her actions... and how much i love past lives... so much my friend so much#okay alright i'm going to bed fr uvu i'm kissing you all goodnight <3#i sit before flowers & hope they will train me in the art of opening up | headcanons

casual // touya todoroki
when the boy you're in love with wants to keep it casual.
a/n: give me a gun. pt 2? or should we leave it here hehe
part 2
"You sure you're qualified to do this?" Touya eyed your concentrated expression through the mirror to your right. His head rested in your lap as you mark his ear, making sure it was as lined up and even as it could be next to his existing piercing.
"Of course I am." You say in a hushed tone, wiping off the needle with a cotton pad soaked with the rubbing alcohol you found under the sink. "You know, I pierced Toga's ears?"
"What? When was this?" He jokingly pouts. "So I'm not the only one you're putting needles through?"
You smiled at this hint of jealousy. You two had been close friends for a while- more so in the realm of friends with benefits, but of course you wanted more of him than he was willing to give you.
"Unfortunately not, pretty boy." You chuckle.
It was a late and quiet night, but of course you two couldn't sleep. Last week it was you padding away to his front door, which was left cracked open for you. This time, it was him that came knocking on your window.
"Why did I agree to this again?" He mutters in annoyance.
"You're the one who came down my fire escape remember?" You cock an eyebrow.
"Yeah, and last time you came to mine, I got an undercut. So shouldn't it be me terrorizing your appearance instead?"
"You're acting like the undercut was the only thing you received." You meet his glance in the mirror, which he returned with a knowing wink. A faint blush brushed over your cheeks, causing you to avert your gaze.
"Besides, it looks hot, and you'll be okay." You lean in to whisper in his ear, planting a soft kiss on his sideburn. "It'll only hurt for a second."
"You are dangerous. Absolutely no good for me." He sighs in defeat. "No countdown, okay?"
"Say less." You instantly pierce through the soft flesh, watching his face scrunch in discomfort. "Needle is in." You say with content.
"Let me see." He sits up, and scoots forwards towards the mirror, looking at the needle sticking through his lobe. "God that looks freaky."
"C'mere and let me put the jewelry in."
"First, One more kiss, for being so brave."
Your cheeks flush as you lean in, letting him close the space between you two. His hand finds his way to the nape of your neck, letting himself lean in deeper.
"Wicked, dangerous, captivating, beautiful thing." He mutters against your lips. "The things I let you do to me."
"Be careful or else I'll start thinking you like me." You put your hand on his chest to lightly push him back.
"You know I do, silly girl." He quickly presses another kiss to your nose.
"Shut up." You smile and reach up to grab his chin, angling his ear towards you. With the clean earring, you swiftly replace the needle with the stud.
"And done. Not so bad, huh?" You looked at your work in pride.
You stand up to throw out the bloody q-tips and safety pin. After tossing the biohazards, you turn around to see him throwing on his coat and take one last look at his fresh piercing in the mirror.
"Are you leaving already?" A twang of disappointment twists in your stomach. "No sleepover?"
"Nah, gotta sleep in my own bed at least once this week." He huffs out a chuckle, running his hand through his messy hair. "Gotta make rent worth it, you know?"
Oh.
"So true." a deflated chuckle exhales from you. "See you around then, Touya." You follow him to the window. The cold breeze rushed through, sweeping your hair out of your face.
"I'm having our people over tomorrow night for a little kickback. Of course you're invited. See you there?"
You force a light smile on your lips. "Yeah, maybe."
"Sweet. Goodnight, Y/N." He begins climbing up the fire escape and leaves you with a pinch on the cheeks and a bitter taste in your mouth.

Pattern Breaker
Pairing: Robert “Bob” Floyd x Reader (afab)
Category: smut, fluff, friends to lovers, idiots in love
Summary: A love confession turns to more once Bob knows you’re interested.
Warnings: 18+, smut (!!), protected p in v sex, f receiving oral (pussy eating king), vaginal fingering, grinding/dry humping, handjob, kissing, groping, scratching/marking, Bob fucks, love confessions, fluff, talks of bad dates, reader described as having hair and being shorter than Bob (but nothing else), swearing/cursing - let me know if I missed anything!
Word count: 7.1k (it kinda ran away from me)
A/N: My humble contribution to the Bob Fucks Agenda 🫡
Consider buying me a coffee :)
Bob Floyd was head over heels in love with you.
Yet he had no idea what series of mistakes had landed him here. In the Hard Deck. With you. Sat next to him. In a tight booth. Your thigh pressed up against his. Tracing patterns with the tip of your finger on the back of his hand. Many would argue that this didn't seem like a bad thing. Why would something so intimate with someone he was in love with be a mistake? Well, the issue was that you were doing it in a totally platonic way.
You were doing it mindlessly too, as you engaged in idle conversation with Phoenix opposite you, which almost made it worse. Bob Floyd's brain was whirring at a million miles per second over something you were doing without even thinking about it. It took every ounce of self restraint to stop himself from moving. Closer to you or further away, he didn't know. But he tried to stay still. So very still. Just so you'd keep doing it.
He was also desperately trying to pay attention to the story you were telling Phoenix, about the latest bad first date you'd been on. It appeared to be a regular thing with you. A string of first dates where you knew before you'd even ordered the entrées that they wouldn't be the right guy for you. And you always had valid reasons, at least in Bob's opinion.
"He told me he doesn't like sunsets." You groaned. "Like, who doesn't like sunsets?"
Bob personally loved sunsets.
Phoenix frowned at you. "Did he give a reason why?"
Bob imagined that Phoenix was feeling a little guilty about the whole thing. After all, she was the one who'd set you up with this guy. But he was thankful for it. He didn't know what he'd do with himself when you finally managed to find the right guy and it wasn't him.
"Something about the day ending and having a mindset about being on the grind I think, I don't know." You sighed, pausing your finger's movement against the back of Bob's hand for a moment before carrying on. He almost had a heart attack when you pressed your cheek into his shoulder and started leaning against him as well.
"Sorry it didn't work out. I can find you another guy maybe, umm..." Phoenix trailed off with a thoughtful hum.
But you waved her off. "No, it's okay. I think I'm done with blind dates for now."
Bob's head snapped towards you. Oh?
"If you're sure." Phoenix started to rise from the table, pressing her hands into the wooded surface. "I think I'm gonna call it a night. See you two tomorrow."
"Goodnight, see you tomorrow." You smiled at her, nudging Bob with your elbow when he stayed silent.
He flinched away from you. "Ow! What? Oh. Yeah, goodnight."
Phoenix's eyes flicked between the two of you, an amused huff leaving her mouth before she gave you both a mock salute and left the bar.
There was a silence between the two of you for a moment as you relaxed against Bob's shoulder a little more.
"What about you? Ready to call it a night?" You asked, turning to rest your chin on his bicep so you could look up at his face.
He glanced at you briefly, turning away again when he realised how close your faces were in that position and cleared his throat. "No, I'm good here for a little longer. If you are?"
You nodded and sat up, extracting yourself from his touch completely. Bob almost sobbed at the loss of contact.
"Yeah, I'm good." You paused to take him in, how he wasn't looking directly at you. He did that sometimes. You always figured he was just a little awkward about eye contact. Which was a shame considering his eyes were your favourite shade of blue.
Bob did flicker his eyes towards you then, wondering why you were staring at him silently. "Are you okay?"
You shrugged. "I kinda wanted to talk to you about something."
"Yeah?" He turned to face you properly, knees angled towards you to show that you had his full attention. "What about?"
You looked at him for a few seconds too long, enough to make him anxious and you think that maybe you'd given something away with your eyes. "You know how when we met we just clicked?"
Bob was surprised at that question. But he knew exactly what you meant. So he nodded. "Yeah."
You scrunched your nose and looked away from him for a second. "Well, I'm not clicking with any of these guys I'm going on blind dates with."
He knew that, you’d said as much. So he really didn't know where you were going with this. "Okay...”
"I just wish it was as easy as it was with you. Like we just work together so perfectly, I don't even feel like I'm trying with you."
He opened and closed his mouth a couple of times, looking sideways at you. "Uh-"
Your eyes widened and you were quick to clarify, hands held up in apology. "And not like I don't put any effort into it with you but just like I don't feel as if I'm constantly trying to make it work, y'know?"
He nodded again. "Sure."
You sighed frustratedly. "Do you get what I'm trying to say here, Bob?"
"Not really." He shook his head and gave a weak, apologetic smile.
You chuckled. "I'm trying to say that I've never clicked with a guy like I have with you."
"Right." He straightened up.
"But we're just friends." You said slowly.
He hesitated. "Mhm."
You squinted at him. "To cut it short I'm trying to say that I think I'm in love with you."
Bob could have fallen out of his seat.
"Oh!"
Now, that caught him really off guard.
"Well, I'm trying to figure out my feelings for you. Because they're certainly more than friendly!" You laughed quietly. "Which isn't really fair. To me or to you. But it's gotta be done because I'm sick of not clicking with men and being on dates where I'm just constantly thinking of how much easier it would be if I were sat across from you instead."
Bob ignored most of your rambling, fixating on one little statement. "Why's it not fair?"
Your face crumpled momentarily. "It's going to make it awkward for you if I am in fact in love with you. And it's unfair for me because I might be in love with a guy who only views me platonically."
Bob looked at you for a moment, eyes wide and almost pleading, and uttered your name softly.
You frowned. "What?"
He gave you a meaningful look.
"You do view me platonically, right?" You leant backwards. "Right?"
He glanced away from you before looking back, giving a short and sharp shake of his head. No.
The world shook around you.
"But- but you never made a move. I thought that you..." You trailed off into distressed thought.
"Oh, I made moves. Just not very obvious ones apparently." He cleared his throat with a quick cough, scrunching his face momentarily in embarrassment.
"Why did you never just say?"
"I guessed that you weren't interested since you never seemed to reciprocate my- my moves." He scratched at the back of his neck, feeling embarrassed at the thought of his moves.
"But I'm all over you!" You exclaimed. "I'm so touchy!"
He froze and turned to you stiffly. "I thought you were just like that. With everyone!"
"Have you ever seen me touch another human being half as much as I touch you?" You said monotonously.
"Well..." He thought about it. He hadn't. You gave hugs, sure. But you certainly didn't stand with your head resting on anyone's shoulder, arms wrapped around their bicep like you did with him. You didn't sit next to anyone, legs resting over their thighs, like you did with him. You definitely didn't trace patterns on the back of anyone's hand like you had been with him earlier.
You let him think about it for a few moments before interrupting his thoughts. "You didn't answer my question. Why didn't you just say?"
Bob looked deep into your eyes, recognising the look of regret he could feel within himself. "By the time I had the courage to... the friendship was already solidified. And I thought it would ruin it."
"Oh, Bob." You smiled widely at him. "You should've said something. I had a huge crush on you when we first met."
Have a huge crush. Have.
He perked up slightly. "You did?"
No. Do.
"Yeah! I buried it after a while because I figured you weren't interested. And now I'm realising that I'm probably in love with you anyway." You found it almost funny how the two of you seemed to be in the exact same situation and yet had no idea how the other was feeling.
He decided to be honest. "It would certainly brighten my day if you were."
You had a thought suddenly. "Walk me home?"
Bob felt a sense of whiplash from the rapid change in topic. But didn't question it. "O-okay."
You grinned at him and motioned for him to get up, following him out of the booth and grabbing his hand once you were stood next to him. Not having to worry about closing out a tab with Penny since you'd been paying for drinks each time you ordered, you didn't hesitate in dragging him behind you out the back door of the Hard Deck and onto the beach.
You took a glimpse at Bob next to you, finding him already watching you. "Figured we could do the moonlit beach walk on the way back to my place."
He just nodded, not missing the way you were still grasping onto his hand as the two of you started walking in the direction of your home. The moonlight beach walk wasn't an uncommon occurrence between the two of you. You'd done it countless times before, in fact. It was just a nice thing to do that happened to involve some nice views that you both enjoyed. It just felt different this time, Bob thought to himself.
He had to ask. "Your last blind date, did he really not like sunsets?"
You looked at him, delighted by the seemingly random question. "Yeah. How off-putting is that?!"
"Very." Bob mumbled. "Y'know... I really like sunsets."
Ah, you saw what he was getting at.
"I know." You chirped. "I'll never forget the sunset on the day we met when you explained that the reason they're so colourful is because of the way the light scatters through the atmosphere. It was very purple that night."
His eyebrows shot up. He'd forgotten he'd told you that. But you were right. It had been very purple. He'd watched you take about thirty photographs of the sky. And knew then that he was in trouble.
The rest of the walk back to your place was quiet, a few passing comments made between the two of you as you pointed out a cute dog and Bob showed you where new flowers were beginning to blossom on a tree you regularly saw. Your hands stayed intertwined the whole time, swinging gently between your bodies.
It was easy. Just how it should be.
Silence shrouded the two of you as you approached your front door, wondering what was supposed to come next. Bob was still hung up on your sudden abandonment of your conversation back at the Hard Deck as you stopped at your door. Why had you dropped it?
The question escaped him as you suddenly tugged him a lot closer, so your chests almost touched, and lowered your voice.
"Come inside."
It wasn't proposed as a question, or even a request, but as more of a statement. Like you were telling him that he should follow you into your home to find out what happens next. Because of this, Bob could only reply with one thing.
"Okay."
There was no turning back now.
You beamed at him and rushed to unlock your door, flicking on a light switch once it was open and ushering him in behind you. Bob had been to your place countless times before, even crashed on your couch once or twice after nights there had run a little too long, but this time felt different. Just like the walk on the beach had.
He supposed it was because of what the two of you confessed earlier that night. But he still couldn't shake the thoughts about the fact that the conversation hadn't carried on to a point where he knew what was going to happen next between the two of you. Bob wanted answers. And he guessed that they were hidden in the depths of your home.
You guided him to your kitchen, offered him a drink which he politely declined, and stopped suddenly in the middle of the room to turn on your heel and look at him.
"Do you know why I asked you back here?"
He stilled a few paces in front of you. "Honestly? No."
You smiled at that. "Because I decided that I am."
Bob was even more confused. "Am what?"
You barked out a laugh like you suddenly realised you'd left out half of your sentence and that what you'd said had made no coherent sense. "In love with you. Absolutely head over heels. One hundred per cent.”
He said nothing in reply, sensing that you had more you wanted to say. He was right.
"And I wanted to be able to explore that possibility for us without prying eyes. In the privacy of my home." You huffed, slightly frustrated. Bob took a single step towards you. "I don't- I don't know how to say this."
He closed the gap, hands resting on your arms to reassure you. You'd never struggled to tell him anything and he certainly didn't want that to start now. "It's me. You can say anything to me. You know that. It's okay."
When you met his gaze again, your eyes were slightly glassy with tears. But you blinked them away. They were angry tears at yourself for taking this long to get to this point with him. It should've happened so much sooner.
Your eyes flickered to his lips. Bob knew what that meant, he was feeling it himself, but wanted you to say it.
Letting out a slightly shaky laugh, you composed yourself. "You might need to let me spiral and talk for a minute."
He smiled softly, surprised he wasn't doing his own spiralling and talking in this situation. "That's okay."
You nodded and sighed. "Okay, so. I don't want things to change between us. Well, I do. But, like, not everything. I still want us to be us. I still want to be able to tell you everything and have easy conversations and just go for walks on the beach and talk about meaningless things and have you explain stuff to me that you think I'll find interesting and sit close to each other just because we can not because we have to."
You stopped for breath and Bob felt like he was having to restrain his heart from bursting out of his chest.
"We'll still just be me and you and things will be easy between us. Like they always have been. But now... instead of sleeping on my couch after late nights, you'll- you'll sleep in my bed. And we'll kiss and, god, have a lot of sex I hope."
Bob chuckled at that and you joined him, happy to see that he wasn't freaking out at everything you were saying.
"We'll still be me and you but just... evolved. Right?"
Bob had started the evening knowing he was head over heels in love with you. He couldn't believe the night was ending with that love somehow growing even more, combining with yours to create some force that defied the laws of nature. The room was practically swimming in it, he could feel it prickling at the surface of his skin and taste it on the top of his tongue.
He nodded firmly at you. "Me and you but evolved."
You visibly relaxed under his hands and smiled giddily up at him. "Great, can you kiss me now?"
You didn't have to ask Bob twice.
The kiss started off sweet, almost innocent. A few, slightly open mouthed, pecks as the two of you giggled against each other. It was something new for the two of you. So even thought it felt right, it was still new territory to explore. But it didn't take long for it to take a turn. As soon as you opened your mouth fully to lick gently against Bob's lips, it was like something in him snapped.
An arm snaked around your waist and tugged you flush against him, chest to chest, and his other hand tangled in the back of your hair. His nose crammed into your cheek, his glasses falling slightly askew, as he licked into your mouth hotly with his head angled down to meet you halfway.
Your head whirled with the thought that he was good at this. Bob Floyd was an extraordinarily good kisser. Why hadn't you done this sooner?
You let out soft moans to encourage him despite him not even seeming shy about the idea anymore. In fact, Bob had no sense of restraint left in him. He'd waited so long for this, for you. And now he was lost in the feeling of your skin against his and the sounds you were making in reply to what he was doing. Which is why he let his hands drift across you more, not anchoring his touch to any specific place.
You felt like you were on fire, no time to breathe as breaks for oxygen were mere fractions of a second long. You'd never imagined him being capable of making you feel like this so quickly. Your lower abdomen burning with desire and your panties already practically soaked through. And he hadn't even touched you intimately yet. You could only hope that you were having half the same effect on him.
Bob's hands lowered themselves slowly, tracing along your ribcage, circling your waist, gripping at your hips, before he tentatively let them rest on your ass. You hummed in motivating appreciation and pushed yourself up even more to kiss him impossibly harder. He took that as a good sign, fingers digging into the flesh beneath them and rocking your pelvis towards his. Where you found that he was hard.
A noise rumbled in your chest, leaking out as a high pitched whine directly into his mouth.
Bob pulled away with a slight look of concern in his eyes which now held almost no trace of the blue shade you'd come to adore, pupils blown wide enough to engulf his irises. "Is this too much? We can slow down."
You shook your head, slowing down being the last thing you wanted. "No, I'm just surprised that you're so... handsy. I always thought you were a gentleman."
"Oh." He blushed a deep red, the colour reaching the tips of his ears. "I'm just eager, I guess. We can wait. I mean, I can wait. If it's too much."
You leaned back in closer to him, lips brushing across his. "Don't you think we've waited long enough?"
He did.
Somehow the second round of kissing was even more searing, almost consuming, than the first. Your arms wrapped around his neck, one hand gripping tightly onto his hair and tugging occasionally. Bob didn't let up squeezing at your ass after he'd realised that the sound you'd made previously was one of pleasure and not pain, rocking your hips into his a couple times more for good measure.
When his lips moved to trail a line of kisses down your jawline and onto your neck, your eyes practically rolled back into your head. This was too good to be true. You were stood in your kitchen, at almost midnight, and Bob was sucking a hickey into your neck. How was this even real?
You realised that if you didn't move soon then the two of you were going to end up fucking on the kitchen floor. And whilst you weren't totally against the idea, you figured you should at least offer him the comfort of a bed for your first time together.
"Bedroom, Floyd. Now." You gasped, grasping his hair to pull him away from your neck. But when you got a good look at him, you almost abandoned the idea completely. His hair was ruffled from where you'd been pulling at it, his glasses sat crookedly on his nose, his face was flushed a rosy pink, his lips were swollen and kiss bitten, and his eyes were darker than you'd ever seen them. He was a sight to behold.
You snapped back to reality, fixed his glasses so they sat correctly on his face, clenched your legs together, and grabbed a fistful of his shirt to tug him behind you towards your bedroom. Bob, of course, had no complaints about this and followed you very happily. After watching you kick off your shoes as the both of you scurried down your hallway, he did the same. Not many thoughts were occurring in his brain at that moment, not any clean ones anyway, but one thing was certain as he looked at you: he'd never wanted someone more.
The bedroom door slammed shut behind him and before he had the chance to take in any of his surroundings he was pressed up against it and your lips were on his again, your hands desperately clutching at the bottom of his shirt to untuck it from his pants.
"Why- do- you- always- wear- your- uniform?" The question was asked between fiery kisses. Not that you were complaining. You loved to see him in his uniform. But he always looked so formal.
Bob waited until you were too distracted trying to unbuckle his belt to kiss him so he could get his answer out fully. "You once told me I look handsome in it."
You paused and tilted your head up to look at him. Taking in his open expression, you could tell that he was being honest. "God, I fucking love that you listen to me."
He laughed momentarily before his jaw snapped shut and he swallowed thickly as you began fumbling with his belt buckle again. "Your hands are shaking."
The observation was simple but had you freezing anyway. "Care to help a girl out then?"
Bob could tell that you were getting anxious, nerves suddenly overruling the initial excitement and lust. He could understand. He was currently running on the high of you dragging him to your bedroom. Maybe you also needed something like that to keep you going.
He glanced over your shoulder towards your bed and nodded towards it. "Lie down."
Bob watched as the fire quickly re-ignited in your eyes and you did as you were told, bouncing on the mattress as you sprawled yourself across it. Undoing his belt completely, he took a few steps towards you until he stood between your open legs.
You pushed yourself up onto your elbows to watch him eagerly. The mattress dipped as he knelt on it and crawled across it until he was hovering over you.
You hummed quietly, teeth sinking into your bottom lip. "Hmm, I like this position."
He leaned in close, as if going to kiss you. "I thought you might."
His voice was low, rumbling deep in his chest. It was a tone you'd only had the privilege of hearing a few times before. During late nights when he was tired and could barely keep his eyes open as you continued to talk his ears off with meaningless nonsense but did so anyway just so he could listen to you talk. When he'd held you close to him during crowded nights at the Hard Deck and spoken directly into your ear so you could hear him over the sounds flooding the place. Moments that were intimate between you both but you'd been too oblivious to see as more than platonic.
It was the voice that Bob Floyd used to flirt with you.
You pulled back, wide eyed, to get a good look at him. "Oh, my god. You have made moves."
His brows scrunch for a moment, a confused laugh bubbling out of him. "Yeah, I said so earlier."
"I know but that voice." You poked his chest accusingly. "It's your flirty, sultry, bedroom voice! You've used it on me before!"
"It's not my-" He paused, thinking about it for a second, and then shrugged. "Oh, yeah. Maybe you're right."
"I like it, it's hot. Do it again." You giggled when he rolled his eyes, reaching your hands up to start unfastening the buttons on his shirt.
"And what would you like me to say?" His voice dipped back down to the low tone and you had to suppress a shiver.
"Anything. I just like hearing you talk." You reached the last button and helped him slide the shirt from his shoulders, revealing a white undershirt that you knew always resided underneath. The brown uniform shirt was discarded somewhere on your bedroom floor.
"How about how I think it's time for you to start removing some clothes? Since my shirt's off and my belt is unbuckled." His raised a finger to trace along the neckline of your t-shirt.
You whined. "Not fair. You're not even showing any skin yet. If I take my shirt off then all I've got is a bra on underneath."
Bob chuckled, low voice lost for a moment. "Is my white t-shirt not the equivalent of your bra?"
You pondered it for a moment. Maybe he was right. "Depends if you like the way my tits look in this bra as much as I like the way your biceps look in that white shirt."
He took a quick glance at his arms which were caging you into the bed, hand planted on either side of your head. "My biceps, huh?"
"A weakness of mine, I admit." You shrugged and sat up, pushing at his chest to give you some room. "Have to stop myself from biting them when I rest my head on your shoulder."
"For the record, I'd totally let you."
With a laugh you took Bob's hands in yours and guided them to the hem of your shirt, giving him a nod of confirmation. "You would now but let's be honest, it would've been a little unusual of me to just suddenly bite you before."
He tried desperately to keep eye contact with you as he pulled your shirt over your head and tossed it aside. "Maybe, but I wouldn't have said a word of complaint."
"I'll remember that for the future." You paused and noticed his frozen stare. "You're allowed to look, y'know?"
He knew but he was holding himself back with the knowledge that he'd probably go feral once he saw you without a shirt on. Just below his eye line he could tell that the bra you were wearing was lacy and pretty much see-through. He took a deep breath before looking properly and let out a very low groan when he saw that your nipples were hard and very visible through the fabric.
Bob's dick twitched in his pants at the sight. He feared he wouldn't last very long once the two of you actually got going.
You leant back on your hands and watched him look over you. It was kind of entertaining and certainly a confidence booster for you. "Like what you see?"
His eyes met yours again. "Shut up. You know I fucking do."
That sent a ripple of heat through you. Despite knowing him for so long, you'd never heard Bob curse. He'd let out the occasional damn at big inconveniences but never anything more than that. You figured it was part of him being such a gentleman and the fact that he loved to point out that his mother raised him right.
"Careful, Floyd. That dirty mouth will get you in trouble." You flattened your back onto the bed again, pulling him down on top of you by a handful of his shirt.
"If by trouble you mean with you underneath me then I'm willing to take that risk." His voice somehow got lower, a raspy edge being added to it. It's like he knew exactly how to break you.
You grabbed his face in your hands and pulled him down to kiss you again, you'd gone too long without feeling his mouth on yours, and you revelled in the grunt he let out against your lips.
This was a whole new side to Bob that you were seeing. And you were loving it. Somehow it was still so easy, the two of you continuing to just bounce off of each other and the sexual chemistry was luckily just naturally there as well. You thought it may have been slightly awkward between you but you'd never felt so confident about sleeping with someone in your life.
Bob realised he should probably check something before the two of you got any further so pulled away momentarily. "Do you have a condom?"
"Oh, yeah! Wait, hang on-" You slid away from him, hanging over the edge of the bed to rifle through a drawer in your nightstand. Producing a small box, you waved it triumphantly at him.
"Hoping those blind dates were going to be successful, huh?" He teased, reaching out to grab your waist to drag you back underneath him. He was relieved you had the box but if you didn't then he knew it wouldn't have stopped him from doing other things to you until you were able to buy some condoms.
Your jaw dropped. "No! Just never underprepared."
"I applaud your readiness. I'm sure if the apocalypse hits then we'll be thankful for your supply of condoms."
"If the apocalypse hits then we'll be tasked with repopulating the Earth and have to have lots of unprotected sex to do so." You bit back playfully, glad to see when his eyes fluttered shut momentarily at the mention of doing it raw. "Oh, you like that thought, huh?"
"You caught me. Guilty." He raised a hand in surrender before gesturing at you. "Now let's get naked so we can have lots of protected sex."
You had to fight back a surge of laughter but let a few giggles escape when you found Bob looking at you with an amused look of his own. You were glad that the two of you were still able to joke and be you even in an intimate moment like this, relieved that it didn't suddenly become serious.
Clothes were discarded and quick kisses were exchanged as the two of you inched closer and closer to where you both really wanted to be. After your bra had been unclasped and thrown into the void with every other item of clothing, and Bob had thoroughly explored your chest with both his hands and mouth, you fell back onto the bed with him on top of you for another round of kissing. It's like the two of you couldn't keep your lips separated for longer than necessary.
His bare chest pressed into yours, a sheen of sweat gliding between you, as he rocked his hips against you, grinding his hard length into your clothed pussy.
If you'd told Bob at the beginning of the evening that this was how his night would end then he would've laughed and told you he didn't believe you. But now that he was here, he couldn't have imagined it any other way. That's what made him realise that enough was enough.
He suddenly broke the kiss and sat up again, kneeling in between your legs. Hooking two fingers into the waistband of your panties, he made eye contact with you. "May I?"
You nodded vigorously.
Bob shook his head. "Words."
You could've orgasmed right there and then. "Yes, you can."
He took that answer and started to slide your panties down your legs slowly, helping you to lift your hips to get them off easier. Once they reached your ankles he plucked them off and cast them aside, planting a quick kiss on your calf before lowering your legs either side of him again.
You reached for the condoms to pass them to him, aware that you were only the one step of removing his underwear away before he'd finally be inside you.
But he pushed your hand aside, choosing instead to slide his palms down your thighs. "In a minute."
"We haven't got forever, y'know. Get on it." You laughed, curious as to what he was doing.
"Gotta get you ready first." He mumbled, pushing your legs apart so he could see better.
Oh? "I can assure you that I'm plenty ready and wet and would like your dick inside me now please."
"So polite." He hummed with a smile on his face. "And I can see how wet you are. Just gotta make sure that you're relaxed enough to take me."
"Somebody's confident about their size, huh?"
He laughed as he shook his head. "Would you rather me not go down on you?"
As much as you were teasing him not to, you very much wanted him to. "Fine, if you insist." You replied with a sigh and an exaggerated roll of your eyes.
Bob almost chuckled, but when he looked up into your eyes again he was met with an angelic vision. You were stretched out on the bed, naked, for him. All for him. He reminded himself to thank the universe at some point. But, before that, he needed to thank you by making you come.
He shuffled back on the bed, moving your legs over his shoulders as he did so, and laid flat on his stomach before you. And got to work.
Bob practically devoured you.
You writhed underneath his grasp, one of his arms thrown across your stomach to keep you in place, as he licked and sucked at you. Your clit throbbed against his tongue as he flicked it from side to side over the sensitive spot. One of your hands flew to tangle in his hair as your legs trembled on either side of his head.
"Oh- oh, my god." You panted, chest heaving with laboured breaths. You looked down at him to see that his glasses had fogged up. You let out a slightly strangled laugh at him as he decided to slide a finger into you at that moment.
"Fuck me. Fuck, fuck, fuck." You gasped and collapsed back onto the pillows.
Bob moaned into you and you let out a cry at the feeling of the vibrations running through you. His finger pumped in and out of you. Slowly at first before he increased the pace and then, once you were somehow even wetter, introduced a second finger.
And with two of his fingers inside of you, bending slightly to hit that sweet spot inside of you, along with his tongue making tight little circles on your clit, it didn't take long for the pressure to build in your lower abdomen and then suddenly explode through you. Your body shook with pleasure, a tidal wave of profanity and primal noises escaping your mouth.
Bob gave you no time to rest though, surging up your body and kissing you again, giving you a taste of yourself which had you moaning into his mouth. When he pulled back again, you smiled. His glasses were still foggy.
"Can you even see through these?" You asked, reaching up to take them off of him. Wiping gently at the lenses with your bedsheets, you awaited an answer.
"Not really. I usually take them off for this kind of thing. But I forgot. In the excitement." He looked away from you, embarrassed. Funny how he could still be shy despite having just eaten you out like no one else had before.
You hummed quietly, taking his face in your hands to direct him to kiss you again after you'd placed his glasses down on your nightstand as you wrapped your legs around the backs of his and bucked your hips up towards him. "Are we going to do something about you now? Because I know you've been hard since we first kissed."
"I was hoping you hadn't noticed how quickly that happened." The low, raspy voice was back and you felt yourself melting a little on the inside.
"Difficult not to when we were practically dry humping in the middle of the kitchen." You trailed a finger down his torso over his, extremely sculpted, abs and stopped at the waistband of his boxers, hooking the tip of your finger inside.
He watched what you were doing. "I did get a little carried away there, granted."
You paused, asking him the silent question of approval to carry on, before slipping your hand into his underwear and grabbing him. His skin was soft and velvety under your palm and, before you even had the chance to start stroking him, his dick twitched in your hand. "Mmm... so sensitive, Bobby."
He whimpered quietly, squeezing his eyes shut.
You reached for the box of condoms again, realising this probably wouldn't last very long if you did much else with your hand, and pulled one foil wrapper out. Quietly uttering his name to get him to open his eyes again, you pushed the condom against Bob's chest. "Put it on."
He didn't reply, didn't need to reply, just followed your instructions and did as he was told. Straightening up again into a kneeling position, he flailed around a little in an attempt to kick his underwear off. You tried not to laugh. When he succeeded, he ripped the packaging open with his teeth and rolled the condom onto himself in one smooth motion. And then he positioned himself over you, notching the tip of his length at your entrance.
He looked down at you for confirmation to go ahead.
You had one last teasing comment. "Your confidence in your size was warranted."
He huffed out a laugh. "I'd be insulted in your lack of confidence if I didn't love you so much."
Warmth bloomed through your chest. It had been implied several times throughout the night but hearing the words come out of his mouth meant so much more. He loved you.
You beamed up at him. "Glad to know that your love for me overrides any possible offence. I'll be using that to my advantage in future. Now please fuck me, I'm going crazy here."
Bob adored the way you were able to flip a conversation so easily. But he was glad you'd said it as he was beginning to experience his own temporary insanity being on the brink of having sex with you but not quite being there just yet.
He pushed into you slowly at first and then all at once, not being able to hold himself back. Once he'd bottomed out he paused for a moment, a choked groan leaving his throat. You whined at the stretch, glad for the previous orgasm prepping you for this.
"Just- just give me a second." Bob warned you, hanging his head as he took deep breaths.
Patiently, you waited.
Thankfully, it didn't take long for him to get a grip of himself as he eased out of you before slamming back in again. You gasped at the sensation. He set a pace, a steady yet almost brutal one. The loud sounds of sex filled the room and you hoped your neighbours were long asleep.
Bob buried his face in your neck, using his elbows to keep himself from smothering you. The noises he let out into your skin were heavenly and you were thankful that they weren't too muffled. You clawed as his back, making scratches that you'd have to apologise profusely for the next day.
"Fuck, harder please. Please harder." You didn't think it was possible for him to go any harder, the way he pounded into you already making the headboard shake, but you begged him to anyway. And somehow he found a way.
Your skin prickled with a burn where he slapped against you, one of his large hands sliding down to grip harshly at the flesh of your ass in order to pull you impossibly closer to him. He continuously hit that sweet spot inside of you, your eyes rolling back in your head at the feeling. The pressure was steadily building in your stomach, getting tighter and tighter with every thrust of Bob’s hips.
You clung onto his shoulders tightly as you plummeted off the edge, your thighs locking in on either side of him to lock him in place. Bob paused his movements for a second, feeling you clench around him as your throat formed a silent scream that came out as a gasp, and only started up again when you relaxed beneath him.
He pulled away from your neck to look down at you, finding a giddy smile on your face. He kissed you, all teeth and tongues, as he pumped into you a few more times before spilling into the condom. And then he collapsed on top of you.
The two of you stayed there for a couple of minutes, both catching your breath.
“I’m glad you had so many failed dates.” Bob whispered into the glistening skin of your chest.
You laughed quietly. “Me too.”
He eased himself up slowly, pulling out of you with a hiss, to dispose of the condom. “Do you think Phoenix purposely set you up on bad dates so you’d admit your feelings for me?”
You thought about it for a second. “Probably. She knows I’ve had a crush on you for forever. And I can’t think of any other good reason that she’d set me up with a sunset hater.”
Bob pulled back the covers on the bed and gestured for you to get in, crawling in beside you. “Can’t believe that guy.”
“I know!” You laughed and turned on your side to look at him. “Wished she’d done it sooner then we could’ve been doing this for a lot longer.”
He joined in on your laughter. “Trust me, we’ll have plenty of time now to be doing this a lot more.”
You smiled. “I’m glad.”
He smiled back. “Me too.”
You scooted closer to each other, limbs tangling together into one big mess, softs words of love exchanged between you as you drifted off into a peaceful sleep in each other’s arms.
A/N: this is the longest thing I think I’ve ever posted as a single thing… hope you enjoyed!

Hi☁️!
Can you write something about how the Sirius, James, Remus and Lily try to get close to Slytherin reader (who is really shy and muggleborn). They decide to try through a prank, since with Lily worked but instead they angered Regulus (the reader's only close friend) for making her cry. They decide to change their approach: complimenting her, reading with her and watching Muggle films. After some hesitation, the reader decides to give it a chance. (I hope it's okay for you to write about Lily too, I haven't seen many posts here on Tumblr involving her, although I think it comes up with something super cute☺️). The rest is up to you 🤍
Ps. The marauders and Lily are already in a relationship with each other
Thank you for requesting this! I had a lot of fun writing it!<3

Warnings: prank taken too far?

Chances
-
Have you ever been scared of something so much the sight of it makes you want to cry?
Well I am. To be specific, I'm scared of Doxy's. They're nasty little creatures that could kill you with their venom quickly.
The only reason why I had an encounter with these creatures once is because I may or may not have walked far too deep into the forbidden forest one day but thankfully my closest and only friend Regulus Black was there to save me before anything happened.
I shook my head out of my thoughts about the creature's as I sat at the Slytherin table. Right after that Regulus sat down next to me.
It was dinner time. "What took you so long?" I asked him as we put food onto our plate. "Slytherin quidditch captain started talking to me about plays for our next game." He replied as I started to eat so I just nodded. We fell into a conversation about the books we were reading that week.
Suddenly we were interrupted by rather loud laughter coming from the Gryffindor table that was beside the Slytherin table. Regulus stopped talking looking annoyed as he looked over to the table to see his brother's obnoxious laughing. "He never shuts up I swear." Regulus muttered causing me to chuckle a little.
Soon we finished eating and both decided to go back to the Slytherin common room. “You’ll have to let me read that book you’re reading once you’re done with it.” Regulus said to me with a small smile. “The Outsiders isn’t it?” He asks as we reach the painting to the common room. “Correct.” I say then say the password to get in and we walk through into the common room.
After a quick conversation we said goodnight to each other and headed to our dorms. When I got to mine I changed into pajamas and got in bed going to sleep.
The next morning I got and opened my dresser to get my regular clothes. But, with doing that out of my dresser came doxy’s. The one thing I was terrified of.
I tried to scream for help but nothing would come out of my throat. My heart was racing and I ran from them as they started to come after me.
While running I tripped and fell over one of my books for classes. I scrambled back against the wall starting to cry and hyperventilate. They came after me causing me to put my arms up crossing them in defense which really wouldn’t do anything. I closed my eyes waiting for impact but it never came.
I lowered my arms, opening my eyes and still crying to see absolutely nothing there now. What? I could have sworn they were just there. Was it all just some allusion?
“Y/n, are you up yet? We need to eat breakfast.” Asked Regulus just walking into my dorm. I assume he hadn’t seen me so he looked around confused. As he turned his head he saw me.
Immediately getting concerned he came over to me pulling me into his arms. “What happened?” He asked in a whisper. “I..” I try to speak but my voice is hoarse. “Take your time.” He says and I smile gratefully at him.
“I went to go get my clothes for the day…” I started looking over to my dresser. “Then when I opened it I had those doxy’s flying at me and then they just disappeared like they were an allusion.” I said shaking my head as I hugged Regulus.
“Are you okay now?” He asked still with a soft voice. I nodded then got up with his help. “Do you think it was the other Slytherins playing some mean prank? Just because I’m a muggleborn?” I ask as I walk to my dresser finally grabbing my clothes. “It could have been. I’ll try to find out.” He said then walked out the room so I could change.
I changed into my clothes and brushed my hair and teeth then met Regulus out in the common room and we walked together to breakfast. When we got there sitting down at the Slytherin table the marauders including Lily Evans walked up to us looking like they were laughing.
“What could you guys possibly want?” Regulus asked in a cold voice as I got some pancakes on my plate.
“Just came here to ask Y/n a question little brother.” Sirius replied and I looked up at them confused. “How was that doxy prank?” James asked and I tensed up. It was them? How did they get into my dorm let alone the Slytherin common room?
“Oh… uh…” I started then notice Regulus seething with his nostrils flaring. “Don’t look so gloomy. It was just a prank!” Peter said and I looked at them shocked then they walked to Gryffindor table and sat down.
I turned around and quietly ate my food quickly ignoring everytime Regulus tried to start a conversation about something. After I was done eating I got up walking out of the great hall and to the astronomy tower to calm down and read.
Regulus POV
After my stupid older brother and his friends or whatever they all are said they were the ones who pulled the prank on Y/n I was angry. I tried to talk to her throughout all of breakfast but she ignored me and when she was done she got up and walked off somewhere.
I though waited until the supposed pranksters got up and walked out to follow them. Following them down the hallway once we were far enough away from any teachers I quickly grabbed Sirius by the collar slamming him against the wall.
“Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t hex you right this second.” I seethed angrily pointing my wand at his throat. “Woah! Why the hell are you so angry?” He asked giving a confused look. “That little ‘prank’ you pulled on Y/n made her have a panic attack!” I spat at him letting him go but still holding my wand to my side.
“It what?” Asked Remus now looking panicked. “It was just supposed to be a little prank. I swear!” Sirius barked out quickly. The rest of them looked shocked. “We all like her and didn’t think the prank would cause all of that.” Lily said with concern lacing her tone.
“She’s absolutely terrified of doxy’s. She almost got attacked by real ones once.” I said now calmly but still slightly angry.
“How can we make it up to her?” Asked Peter quietly. “Well, if you really liked her you’d know she liked muggle books and movies. She may be up in the astronomy tower right now. She likes to read there.” I say walking off to the Slytherin common rooms.
Y/n’s pov
As I flipped the page in my book I was almost finished with I heard footsteps coming up the steps to the tower.
“Y/n?” I heard the voices of none other than the marauders and Lily ask. I close my book after bookmarking it and stand up to face them. “What?” I ask tiredly waiting for them to probably start tormenting me. “We’re sorry for the prank.” Lily said first and the others all had an apologetic face. “We truly are.” Remus said.
“The truth is.. we all like you and thought a prank would show that.” James told me and I tilted my head confused. “We were obviously wrong. Regulus made sure we knew of that.” Sirius said rubbing his neck awkwardly.
“We’re asking for another chance possibly?” Peter asked and I scoffed. “You prank me with the thing I’m terrified of most and ask for another chance? You’re going to need to make it up to me first before I ever decide if you even get that.” I tell them in a slightly upset and annoyed tone.
“We will.” They all say in unison.
“You like the outsiders?” Lily asks pointing to my book and I give a half smile. “It’s my favorite book and movie.” I inform her.
“Would you want to watch muggle movies with us today? To make up for what we did?” James asks and I nod. “Well let’s go!” Sirius says loudly throwing his arm around me. I manage to let out a little chuckle and lead the way to my dorm room.
When we got there I set up a place for us to all sit/lay and put in a muggle movie for us to watch. We watched quite a few muggle movies and joking around causing me to get tired so I ended up leaning my head on Lily’s shoulder stifling out a yawn.
They all weren’t that bad really and I forgive them for what happened. They all looked truly sorry when apologizing. “I think I’ll give you guys a second chance after all.” I say tiredly then end up falling asleep.
Sorry if the end felt rush I’ve been up for a while writing this!!

cw: cursing, crying, angst, fluff

masterlist
-----------------------------------------------
The triplets had just been picked up from the airport by their mom. They were visiting family for the upcoming holidays and they just missed their family so much. Unfortunately, when they arrived their little sister, Y/n, wasn't there to greet them as they arrived home. "Where's Y/n?" Chris asked his mom as they stepped foot into the home. Usually, when the boys would come home, Y/n would always be the first person they saw as they walked in.
"Oh, she's out right now. She and a friend went bowling, she'll be home soon though." She checks her watch to look at the time. Y/n's curfew was at 10:30pm. It was almost 10pm. "Cant believe he wasn't here to greet us." Matt says. "She's seventeen, she's not always going to be there when you want her to. She's finally going out." Nick says.
"I'm going to go unpack." Chris says, leaving off to his room. He rolls his suitcase down the hall and sees Y/n left her room light on and her door open. A habit of hers. He goes to turn off the light and spots many new things in her room. There's about five stuffed animals on her bed, one with a bear holding a 'happy valentine's day' heart, a bunny, a big white bear, a snoopy holding yet again another heart, and another bear from what seems to be build a bear. He also sees a bouquet of flowers in her nightstand that's are practically shriveled up. And there are many new pictures above her bed.
Respectfully, he just shuts the light off and closes the door because he knows how much she hates when the boys go snooping in her room. "What do you think you're doing?" A thirteen year old Y/n catches sixteen year old Chris rummaging through her closet. "I'm looking for a hoodie which I know you took." He says, flipping through her hangers. "Get out or I'm telling mom and dad you stole my allowance money." Chris turns his head towards her. "What? I just want my hoodie." Y/n goes to walk out the door. "Mom! Da-" Chris cuts her off. "Okay, I'm getting out! Damn, just give me my sweater, please."
When the boys were done unpacking their stuff, it was five past 10:30 and Y/n wasn't back. "Mom, it's past her curfew." Nick places his phone down. "She called me and told me she was running late." She says, putting the last dish away. "I'm going off to bed. If she gets here past eleven tell her I said she's grounded." All three of the boys nod at their mom. "Goodnight!"
"Do you guys think she's really bowling?" Matt says from the couch. "I'm pretty sure she is, I don't think she's the type to lie to mom and dad about where she's going." Nick says. "True." Matt and Chris say. Curiously, Nick peeps out the window seeing if there's any sign of Y/n. "Here comes a car. Oh, she is not happy. And she slammed the car door." He backs away from the window once he sees someone else come out the car. "Leave!" They all hear her shout from outside. "Should we go outsi-" Chris is cutoff by the front door opening. "Y/n!" They all say. "Fuck off!" She says with tears streaming down her face, and runs up to her room. "Oh?" Matt says.
"I'll go." Nick says, knowing Y/n tells Nick more things than Matt and Chris. Going upstairs, he sees that her door is closed. He knocks and tries to open the door but it's locked. "Y/n?" He hears her rustling a bag and crying. "Go away!" She sobs. "Hey, open the door, yeah." He softly says. After a few minutes of standing in front of her door, he hears her unlock her door. "Hey, hey, hey, what's wrong." Nick says when he sees her cheeks are stained with mascara and her eye are red. "I don't want to talk about it right now." She whispers and walks to her bed. "That's okay, take your time." He sits next to her and brings her to his chest, all she can do if cry harder due to her brothers affection towards her.
"It's okay." He rubs her hair. Nick takes a glance at her room and sees that near her bed is a trash bag full of stuffed animals, a bouquet of dead flowers, and ripped up pictures. However, there's one framed one that didn't make it into the bag and ended up on the floor. He squints and sees that it's a picture of his sister kissing someone. Did she have a boyfriend? Her cries soon turn into sniffles and she lifts her head off from his chest. "I got mascara on your shirt." She tries to wipe it off. "It's okay, I'm sure it'll come off." He slightly chuckles. "Do you want to tell me what happened tonight? And why there's a trash bag full of stuff?" He asks in the most softest tone he could.
"Can I shower really quickly? I need some time alone." Nick respects her wishes. "Alright, I'll be downstairs with Matt and Chris, come down whenever you're ready or text us and we'll come up okay?" She nods. Nick gets up and head back downstairs where his brothers are worriedly talking about Y/n. "Nick what happened? I've never seen her like that." Chris asks. "I think she broke up with someone or something like that. She has a bag full of stuffed animals, flowers, and pictures." He says, taking a seat between both of them. "She was dating someone?" Matt asks confusingly. "I guess so, the picture of her kissing someone explains a lot. But she wanted to shower and she's let us know when she's ready to talk."
Quietly, they wait in the living room until they get a sign from Y/n. Deep in their thoughts, all they can think of is the fact that she didn't tell them she was in a relationship, not even their parents mentioned anything. All of a sudden, their phones ding with a message from Y/n in their shared group chat.
y/n
you guys can come up now
They all look at each other and head upstairs. "Hey, kid." Chris says when he enters the room, everything that he had seen when he turned her light off a couple of hours ago was gone. "Hi." She places her brush on her nightstand. "You okay?" Matt sits next to her. Nick takes the end of the bed and Chris sits on the floor in front of them. He places his hand on the floor behind him and turns around and sees the picture Nick was talking about. He pushes it away, not wanting to look at it knowing it was his little sister. "I guess?" She looks at her nails, picking at them. "Did- did you break up with someone? Or the other way around?" Nick asks. "Yeah, my boyfriend cheated on me." Her voice cracks and she breaks down again. "C'mere, kid." Matt opens his arms up and hugs her.
The boys can't help but get angry at the asshole they've never met, angry at him for doing such a thing to his sister. "He- he got a text and I saw it was from another girl. And- and I checked their messages and it was obvious he was cheating. Im sorry I never told you guys." She says into Matt's shoulder. Chris gets up and rubs her shoulder. "It's okay, I'm sure you had your reasons as to why you didn't tell us." He says. And she did, she wanted to make sure that her boyfriend, now ex, wasn't going to do anything stupid, but unfortunately he did. Before any of this, she was planning on introducing him to her brothers during the time they were here. Y/n sits with her back on her headboard and looks at all three of them.
"Sorry I yelled at you guys when I walked in." She giggles, wiping her tears. "It's fine." The three of them say. "How long were you two together for?" Chris asks. "Six months." Nicks eyes widen. "Do you want some McDonalds to cheer you up?" Matt says to her. "Please?" She smiles. "Let's go." Matt motions his head towards the room door. "Chris, can you take the bag down to the trash outside?" She says as Nick and Matt walk out the room. "Sure, this too right?" He picks up the frame. "Yes, wait, take the picture out I want to keep the frame. It was twenty bucks." Chris laughs as he hands the empty frame to her.
"Cant believe you were in a relationship before me, Matt and Nick." He laughs. "Me neither." They head down to the car where Matt and Nick are. "Wait, isn't it way past your curfew?" Matt looks back from the driver seat. "My 10:30 curfew is when I'm out with friends. Mom says I can get home whenever I want when I'm with any of you." The boys hum.
"Welcome home, by the way." Y/n says.

you're my best friend
for @corrodedcoffinfest prompt 'best friends'
rated t | 531 words | cw: arguing between friends | tags: mild angst with a happy ending, side steddie, gareth and eddie are bffs 4 lyf
🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
"Okay, but you're best friends. This is just a stupid argument that'll blow over," Steve said as he rubbed Eddie's back in bed. "He's just mad and you're just stubborn."
"But he's never yelled at me like that," Eddie whined.
"You've never yelled at him like that either, baby," Steve kissed the top of his head. "Just talk to him in the morning."
Easier said than done.
He barely slept, running the argument through his head.
It started out silly, pushing each other around and joking about Gareth striking out with another girl. But something shifted quickly, and suddenly Gareth was holding him against the wall and calling him an asshole and meaning it.
He'd never meant it before.
He'd never walked away from Eddie, red-faced and fists clenched, telling Jeff to keep him away from him.
He'd never gone to bed without saying goodnight.
When Steve finally woke up the next morning, Eddie sat up and took a deep breath.
"I think I have to say I'm sorry," he said.
Steve's brows raised and he barely held back a smile. "I think you do."
Eddie stood up, still shirtless and wearing only his boxers. "I'm going, I'm going."
He walked out of the hotel room and walked down the hall to room 804. Gareth had his own room tonight, a rarity, but something they could afford when it was cheaper hotels.
He knocked.
No answer.
"He's still mad at you," Jeff said from the doorway of 806.
"I'm gonna fix it," Eddie said, knocking again.
Gareth swung the door open, still in his clothes from the night before, hair greasy, and bags under his eyes. He clearly hadn't slept either.
"Gare, I'm sorry."
"Do you even know why you're sorry?"
"I pushed you too far."
Jeff was still standing in the doorway watching, and Eddie could hear Frankie whispering to him as he joined him.
"You don't have to rub it in that you've got a boyfriend and I can't even get a girl to come back to my room," Gareth crossed his arms over his chest. "It sucks being alone every night."
Eddie pulled him into a hug, hating the way his voice broke at the end of his sentence, wishing he could change it. Gareth was a catch, and any person who didn't see that was an idiot.
"You're my best friend, you know that?" Eddie whispered. "I didn't mean anything by it. You'll find someone who deserves your time, okay?"
"Yeah, maybe."
"You will. I'll help."
Gareth groaned. "Please don't."
"Maybe you should try to find a guy," Eddie suggested.
"I'm not opposed. Just less options, not as safe. You know that," Gareth pulled away and smiled.
Steve was standing by Jeff and Frankie, smiling at them. "We can find a safer place for you to try if you really want. It's not a bad idea."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. Next stop's Boston. Plenty of places we can find there."
Eddie and Gareth both took a nap, and when they woke up, they were on their way to a new city, and a new chance for Gareth to find someone to warm his bed while they were on tour.

I Would Never Hurt You | Rooster x Reader
Summary: Bradley saw the bruises and knew what was going on, but he also knew you didn't need him the way he needed you.
Warnings: Angst and maybe a bit of fluff (TW: physical abuse and fighting)
Length: 3600 words
Pairing: Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x Female Reader
Check my profile for my masterlist
You had to be ten years younger than him. Your body was elegant, and your voice was always a little melodic as you set down his drinks and said, "Just for you, Rooster," with a little smile for him.
You were Bradley's favorite thing about the Hard Deck. Sure, it was fun to play pool and mess around with his friends, but you were the highlight. Your smile was flawless, lips so perfect, he thought about them when he was at home, alone.
But you carried yourself with a bit of caution. You seemed to have the soul of someone who was a little bit used to the world knocking them down a peg no matter how hard they fought.
Someone he could easily relate to.
"Almost last call," you told him where he sat at the bar. "You're never here this late, Rooster."
Of course you were correct. His friends had already left, and he was usually in bed by this time of night, but he'd had just the right amount of Jack Daniels tonight, so he easily convinced himself it was okay to stay. Stay and watch you work.
He tipped his glass against his lips, finishing the last of his drink. "Yeah, well... it's the weekend. I can always sleep in tomorrow."
You laughed as you stacked up some clean glassware. "Something tells me that with a call sign like Rooster, you probably don't sleep in too often."
He would with you. He could imagine it so clearly, holding you against his body and keeping you warm. Pulling you back deeper into his bed every time you tried to get up. Kissing you until you agreed to stay with him all night.
"I'd stay in bed if there was a good reason to," he told you softly, and he knew he was blushing.
Your grin was something he loved to see. Making you smirk and smile was a game. "I'm sure you could find a good reason if you really wanted one. The ladies around here sure do love you guys."
He was too old for you. Too old and too broken. You were young enough that you could find someone who could take care of you. Someone who wasn't jaded.
Bradley looked to his left and saw a much older woman a few stools down. "On that note, I think I'm fine alone, getting up early."
Your bright laughter made his smile grow. "Hey, she might be very young at heart," you whispered to him, leaning against the bartop. Bradley leaned a bit closer to you as well. "Any chance you'd walk me to my car?"
Bradley looked at those pretty lips up close, forcing himself to keep his hands on his glass rather than reach for the loose strands of your hair. "I'm always available for that."
"Thanks," you whispered, leaning in closer to him before pushing back to say goodnight to Jimmy and grab your stuff. He watched you slip on your sweatshirt while he left a hefty tip for you and Jimmy to split. And when you walked around the bar and came to a stop next to Bradley, the backs of your fingers rubbed his.
He'd done this a few times before, walked you out to your little, white car and made sure it started up for you. He would do it as many times as you asked him to, certain he'd hate the day he saw you ask someone else. And as you pulled out and thanked him through the car window, he decided he wanted to make sure you didn't ask someone else.
Bradley would ask you out on a date. You might say no. There was a pretty good chance you would say no. But he would get over it. He already had it in his mind that you'd never be his.
------------------------------
Days went by with no sign of you. Bradley saw every other bartender, and had them pour his drinks, but you weren't around. Finally he asked Jimmy where you'd been.
"She's been working earlier shifts all week. Something about needing a few nights off. Her boyfriend stopped in earlier to pick her up just before you got here."
Bradley's blood froze in his veins. "She has a boyfriend?" You had only been friendly to him. You'd never had the slightest interest. He really needed to remember that.
"Just started up again with her ex, apparently," Jimmy said with a shrug before moving down the bar.
An ex. Bradley paid his tab and went home.
He had almost gotten used to not seeing you around, because when he arrived at the Hard Deck on Saturday night and saw you behind the bar, his heart skipped around in his chest. "Rooster! Hi!" you greeted him, leaning across the bar to get closer to him. "Jack and Coke?"
Bradley nodded slightly. You were wearing a lot of makeup tonight. You still looked beautiful, but Bradley could tell that your cheek was bruised and a little swollen. His fists clenched, and his throat tightened. But body seemed to understand what was going on before his brain worked it out.
"Are you okay?" he asked you softly when you set his drink down in front of him. Your eyes were unguarded as they met his, and Bradley openly studied your face. "You can tell me if you're not."
And that's all it took for you to drop your guard back in place. Now you were showing him the face you saved for everybody else. "I'm fine, Rooster," you said with a smile. "It's good to see you."
Bradley just nodded and took his drink to the pool table. But his thoughts remained on you, even when he forced himself not to look toward the bar. You got back with your ex, and now Bradley didn't just dislike the guy, he hated him. Because if there was a chance you were with someone else who was sweet to you, Bradley would have admitted that was a good thing. But now he felt like he wanted to protect you, and there was no way you were ever going to let him.
-------------------------
"Just for you, Rooster," you said, setting down his drink with a smirk. Your face looked better now, a week later, but Bradley reached out and grabbed your hand before you could walk away. Your gaze snapped up to look at him.
"You're okay?" he asked, pressing your palm against the bar top and resting his hand over yours. It felt so good to touch you, he was going to think about this when he thought about your lips.
You swallowed hard and nodded, but you didn't move your hand or try to pull away. "Yeah."
He wanted to believe you. "I don't think you need to put up with anybody's shit," he told you, running his thumb along your knuckles before releasing your hand. But you didn't move right away.
"You're sweet," you whispered before you got back to work.
When you asked Bradley to walk you to your car, he made sure it started before leaning down to your open window. "I don't want to see bruises on your pretty face again."
"Rooster," you whispered. He was weak. He wanted to kiss you. He almost went for it, but you shifted your car into reverse and left without looking at him again.
---------------------------
You looked happy. It had been a few weeks since he noticed the bruises. Maybe you'd broken up with him again. Or maybe he started to recognize that he needed to treat you right. Either way, your smile made him smile too.
"Rooster," you sang, handing him his first drink of the night. "Let me know when you need another."
He drank it quickly, wanting to get back to the bar to talk to you again. He did realize how ridiculous that made him, but he couldn't be bothered with caring.
"I'll take a beer for Phoenix, too," he told you after a while. The bar was busy now, so he had to wait a minute while you mixed another cocktail. He didn't mind. He liked watching you work. Your lips were pursed in concentration, and he couldn't have looked away if he tried.
But when you set his drink down, his curiosity got the best of him. He leaned closer to you, and you leaned in as well. "Did you dump him?" he asked you, just loud enough to be heard over the music. Less than twelve inches separated your face and his, and he watched you weighing your response.
"Hey!" called a voice from behind Bradley. Your eyes went wide and you backed away, so Bradley turned to see who was there.
"Mark! Hi!" you said, and Bradley had to watch Mark lean across the bar and kiss your cheek. The same perfect cheek he had bruised. "What are you doing here?"
"Just came to check on my girl," Mark told you, and Bradley had to fight for control of his hands. Mark eyed him up, and Bradley got the terrible feeling in the pit of his stomach that he had just made your life harder. Mark must have seen how closely you and he were talking.
But none of that really mattered, because you looked scared. You looked apprehensive the entire time Mark was there. Bradley could handle the looks Mark was giving him, but he couldn't handle the way he was looking at you.
"See you later," Mark eventually told you, stroking your cheek with his thumb. Like a warning.
As soon as he was gone, Bradley made eye contact with you again. "You need to break up with him."
You licked your lips and tried to look anywhere but Bradley's face. But nobody was waiting for a drink. Nobody else was there to distract you.
"I tried," you whispered, slowly raising your gaze to meet his. "I tried. Usually he's not so bad, you know? But I tried to leave him again, and he won't let me."
Bradley clenched and unclenched his fists on the bar. Your eyes tracked the movement, and he forced himself to be still, so as not to startle you any further. "He doesn't get to touch you like that. Nobody does," Bradley told you, and the look of open longing on your face was new to him.
"You're sweet," you told him again, turning toward the other end of the bar.
---------------------------
Bradley got to the bar early. He hadn't seen you in about a week again, and he was worried. He wanted to know that you were okay. He wanted to hear you lie to him.
When he was shooting pool, he saw you walk in for your shift, and he smiled, knowing you'd be the one to make his next drink for him. He waited to hear the words, "Get us a round, Rooster!" fall from Nat's lips, and he was off toward the bar in a flash.
Your back was to him, so he said your name. Bradley's heart leapt as you glanced over your shoulder at him. "I'll take a round."
You nodded, but didn't fully face him. Bradley felt nervous as you got the drinks ready, and by the time you brought them to him and showed him your face, he was raging mad.
"No," he whispered, but you refused to meet his eyes. Your bottom lip was split. Your perfect lip. "He did that?"
You gave no indication that you could even hear Bradley as you went about your tasks. He let you go, but he didn't move to take the drinks to his friends. He would wait you out.
Finally you looked at him. "Yeah, Rooster. He did. He saw me talking to you, said I was a little too close to another guy for his liking. And then he hit me."
Bradley watched the tears well in your eyes before you set down the glass in your hand and made a beeline for the bathroom. He knew better than to follow, no matter how much he was aching to take care of you.
So he took the drinks to his friends and kept an eye on the door, making sure Mark didn't show up again. But Bradley stayed until closing time. When you didn't ask him to walk you to your car, he offered.
"No," you said, shaking your head.
"You're scared of him," Bradley said. But you refused to respond. "Give me your keys and stay here. I'll pull your car up to the door."
That did it. You were finally looking at him with that same longing as before. Then you reached into your bag and handed him your car keys. Bradley parked your car right outside, and closed your door for you after you climbed in. When you rolled the window down to thank him with tears in your eyes, Bradley brushed your hair back from your cheek.
"Don't sell yourself short," was all he said before you drove away.
-----------------------------
Your lip was still a mess the next time Bradley saw you. It was evident you should have had stitches as soon as it was split. Now you were covering the bruising around it with makeup as well as you could, and Bradley wondered what bullshit excuses you were giving for the way you looked.
He made eye contact with you, and the soft smile on your lips made him ache. When you made him a drink, you lingered a second when you dropped it off. "Just for you, Rooster," you told him.
Bradley watched you work, and it calmed him down. He watched your elegant movements and the care with which you did everything. You should have had a boyfriend who worshipped you. Bradley ordered another drink and then another, anything to get you closer to him again.
"You're thirsty tonight," you remarked, dropping off another drink for him, your eyes lingering on his.
"I really am," he replied, smiling as he memorized the way you looked. You were so pretty, split lip and all.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Bradley turned just in time to see Mark reach across the bar and yank on your hand. "What did I tell you last time?"
He pulled you so hard, it looked like your shoulder was about to be dislocated. Jimmy and all of the patrons turned his way as well, but Mark didn't let you go. Instead he told you to go outside with him.
"No," Bradley said, standing to his full height. "Let's you and me go outside instead."
Mark laughed, but he let go of you, leaving you wincing and grabbing at your shoulder.
"Are you okay?" Bradley asked you softly. You nodded and looked like you were going to cry, but you went to stand beside Jimmy, so Bradley figured it was okay to leave you inside.
"Is she fucking you?" Mark asked Bradley, and he immediately saw red. "She is, isn't she?"
Mark was pretty big, but Bradley was angry enough to derail a train. "Outside," he growled.
Mark followed him and took a swing as Bradley turned to face him on the patio. Bradley dodged it, immediately wishing he hadn't had three drinks. He went on the defensive, avoiding the erratic punches as best he could. But Bradley took one in the stomach to be able to get his arms around the other guy. But Mark pulled out of Bradley's grasp quickly.
"I knew she was a slut. She even talked about you walking her to her car. Such a dumb bitch."
Bradley punched him in the face and sent him staggering backwards. He was so mad, he could barely control his body, but his voice was calm. "Don't talk about her like that."
Mark laughed, blood dripping from his nose. "She'll keep coming back to me over and over again. All I have to do is wait."
Bradley was ready to swing again as he said, "She's not coming back this time."
Mark paced back and forth, and Bradley considered that maybe taking a few hits would appease this asshole. So he played the part of punching bag, letting Mark land his fist to Bradley's ribs before he threw Mark to the ground.
Mark got up and shook himself off, heading across the parking lot, and shouting, "You want her, old man? You keep her until she comes crawling back to me."
Bradley made sure he left before going back inside. Jimmy seemed to be doing a good job of keeping everyone's attention away from you, wherever you had gone.
"She's in the back," Nat told him, running her hands over his beat up knuckles and looking him in the eye. "You really care about her."
Bradley just nodded and headed into the Employees Only area. You turned to him, wiping the tears from your eyes.
"Are you okay?" you asked him, lips trembling.
"Of course." He was more concerned about you than anything else. "Don't call him. Don't go back to him," Bradley said, running his thumb along your chin, just below your lip. "Please."
"I won't," you promised.
----------------------------
When he saw you again, you kept your distance more than he would have liked. And slowly that became the new normal. You dropped his drinks off with a small smile and a greeting, but nothing more. You hadn't asked him to walk you to your car. And now Bradley was back to pining in silence.
But at least you weren't bruised. You weren't covering your face in makeup. So he would take the distance over knowing someone was hurting you.
Maybe you just needed some space and some time alone. Bradley was pretty certain he'd made his feelings about you clear. So he would wait. He wouldn't say anything.
"Mission: Get the birthday boy drunk," Phoenix announced on June 27th, much to Bradley's annoyance. He didn't want to be drunk. If he was drunk, he wouldn't be able to focus on you as well. It didn't matter though, because no sooner had Phoenix made her announcement and then you were there, delivering shots to the pool table.
You handed him the first one with a grin. "Jack Daniels for the birthday boy," you said a little breathlessly, while Bradley examined your lip. It looked a lot better. You'd most certainly have a little scar there, which he would always look for now, but it had healed nicely.
He realized he was staring. "Thanks," he told you, downing the shot while his friends all cheered. One shot turned into several, and Bradley noticed that Phoenix somehow had you delivering all of them to him by hand.
He was feeling warm now, and a lot more secure with knowing you were going to be okay. But after he was a little tipsy, he asked you, "Have you seen Mark?" As soon as he asked, he wished he hadn't, because you put on that guarded expression you seemed to give everyone else. "Don't bullshit me."
Your eyes went a little wide and your lips parted. "I wouldn't bullshit you, Rooster. No... I haven't seen him in a few weeks. He was calling and calling so I changed my number."
Bradley felt instant relief wash through him along with the alcohol. "Good. That's what I like to hear, baby. And you'll let me start walking you to your car again? I always love doing that."
"You do?" you asked, looking around to see who was nearby. "Did you just call me baby?"
There was no sense in trying to deny it. He said it, and you heard him. "Yeah."
"Bradley." You never called him that. You always used his call sign. You used everybody's call sign. "Come here."
You backed away from the crowded pool table closer to where the ancient piano sat, and he followed you willingly, an apology already on his lips. But he was having a hard time saying the words. Sure, he was tipsy, but he wasn't sorry. He would just let you reject him once and for all. The clean cut would make things easier.
"Your lip looks better now... looks good. Like it's healing."
"Bradley," you whispered again, holding your empty tray in front of you.
"Your lips always look good. So pretty. Like lips I would kiss."
Bradley watched you toss your tray carelessly onto the piano bench and wrap your arms around his waist. You moved closer and closer until you were gently pressed up against him. His breathing grew ragged as he wrapped one big hand around the back of your neck and stroked your scarred lip with his thumb. "I would never hurt you," he whispered.
You pressed up onto your toes and said, "I know that," before you kissed him with those perfect lips.
Bradley was aware his friends were hollering and freaking out, but he just kept kissing you. But soon you were smiling against his lips and telling him you needed to get back to work.
"I'll let you go after you promise me I can walk you to your car later."
You smiled and kissed him one more time. "You can walk me to my car later. And you can have my phone number too."
Bradley smiled as you walked away, and he parked himself on a barstool right in front of you for the rest of the night, watching your elegant movements while you talked to him.

i loved you from the start (raiden x gn! reader)
warnings: none!
summary: just a pure sfw story of raiden having a crush on the reader. (gender neutral, only pronouns used are “you”)
a/n: yeah so. remember when i used to be a havik account? LMAOO sorry i think raiden is very laufey coded and he’s so wholesome in mk1 :> anyways this has been sitting in my drafts for 3 days i'm so glad i finally let it out of the basement
“hi y/n! it’s great to see you. lovely weather we have today, right?” raiden greeted, with his signature bright smile.
raiden was well beloved in your village, and everyone always appreciated his and kung lao’s efforts as farmers to help the village thrive. you were never very close to him, but you still respected him.
"thanks, raiden. yeah, the weather's been real nice lately. i'm glad i can finally walk outside without my skin boiling." you sighed.
raiden laughed. "indeed. i'm glad the weather's been going easy on you."
"i suppose so. what about you? i can imagine you aren't very comfortable working under the burning sun. has it been better for you these past few days?" you asked.
you both continued your little banter for a couple hours, just walking around the village with no particular destination. but little did you know, he had the biggest crush on you, and he was ecstatic that he could finally talk to you.
it was because he was usually very shy around you. he gets quiet when there's nobody else around, it was usually you two being together in awkward silence. but today was different. he woke up that morning wanting to talk to you. he immediately got himself freshened up and went around the village to find you with his newfound courage. he was glad his day with you went well and he didn't mess up or say anything weird.
"it's getting dark. the time went by so fast, but i didn't even notice because i was having such a fun time talking to you." you admitted.
"well, i suppose time goes by when you're having fun." raiden smiled.
you chuckled. "yeah.. i guess so."
you both stood in silence for a bit, neither of you wanting to go home.
"you should get home now. it's getting late." raiden advised. he didn't really want to see you go, but he also wanted you to stay safe.
"okay.. goodnight raiden. i'll see you tomorrow." you said, before placing a kiss on his cheek and walking away.
raiden stood there for a solid minute, frozen where he stood. did that really just happen? is he dreaming? he hoped he wasn't.
he walked home with a cheeky grin on his face, and even went to sleep with that same grin. that moment where you kissed him replayed in his head over and over until he finally fell asleep.
that next morning, unfortunately he couldn't immediately talk to you. he had to go back to work. but he was okay with that. he knew once he was done, he can go talk to you again and maybe even offer to take you out for a nice dinner. he was tired of just looking at you from afar, yearning for more than friendship. he was tired of not having the courage to make a move, fearing rejection. he was tired of being completely head over heels for you, and never doing anything about it. he was always feeling as if cupid himself shoots an arrow through his heart every time he speaks to you. he had to do something now.
"you seem happy today. is there something exciting about our harvest?" kung lao scoffed, noticing his best friend's excitement as they worked.
"the harvest? no, not really." raiden replied.
"oh? so if it's not the harvest... is it a special someone? ooh, does someone have a crush?" kung lao teased, playfully elbowing raiden.
"w-what? no.. i mean.. maybe.. how did you know?" raiden stammered.
"i saw you walking around the village with someone yesterday. is that who it is?" kung lao asked.
raiden blushed, hiding his face with his hat.
kung lao laughed. "oooh, i wanna meet this person! let me see if you two are a match made in heaven."
when they got done with their work, they both immediately went to find you. when they found you at madam bo's, kung lao was ecstatic.
"hello there! y/n, is it? raiden talks about you all the time." kung lao greeted. raiden elbowed him.
"oh really," you laughed. "i'm flattered, raiden."
raiden loved hearing you laugh. it was like a sign that you were pleased by something he said or did. there are many things he would do for your approval or just to make you laugh. even if it slightly makes him look like a fool.
"it's such a coincidence you both found me here. you know, raiden and i talked almost all day yesterday. it was very fun." you shared. after hearing what you said, kung lao had a mischevious grin on his face and raiden blushed.
"oh really? that sounds like lots of fun. wanna tell me more, raiden?" kung lao teased.
"i- uh... um.. i have to excuse myself to the restroom." raiden stammered, running off.
you looked over to kung lao, in confusion. "what was that all about?"
kung lao laughed. "i think raiden has a crush on you!"
"me? really?" you asked.
kung lao shrugged. "but you didn't hear it from me. i'll leave you two alone to figure it out."
you sat there, confused, as kung lao left.
"hey, y/n, sorry about that. i guess i ate something weird." raiden laughed. he was lying. he didn't even touch the toilet. he had paced around the restroom nervously until he gained the courage to come back. he sat down across from you, hoping you wouldn't question it.
you laughed. "your friend says you're interested in me."
raiden blushed. "me? uh.. i.. don't know what he is talking about."
you smiled at how flustered he became all the sudden. "no worries, raiden. i am interested in you too."
his eyes widened in surprise. "you are?"
you nodded. he let out a sigh of relief.
"in that case.. how about i buy you some food? we're already in madam bo's. might as well enjoy a nice dinner." raiden offered.
"i would love to." you replied. you both ended up enjoying the food, and became closer that night. surprisingly, raiden was thankful that his friend exposed him. if kung lao never revealed raiden's feelings to you, he wouldn't have such a wonderful significant other now. (kung lao is forcing you two to offer him free food at your future wedding just because he's the reason you two are together.)

Til Death Do Us Part
A Steddie oneshot
Eddie was sitting in Steve's house. . .well, actually lying in Steve's house. He was still pretty banged up, and considering the town still thought he was a murderer, he needed to hide out for a while, and Steve Harrington's was the perfect place. It still felt weird to think that Steve was a good guy, but it was much too evident, and it made Eddie realize that he jumped to conclusions as quickly as others did about him. It's weird how connected they are now. First through Dustin, then through trauma, and now through bat bites. These scars were going to be more permanent than a marriage certificate. Who would have thought that he would be married with a kid by age 20. . .with Steve Harrington of all people? The thought made him laugh.
"What are you laughing about in here?" Steve asked as he popped into the room.
"I was thinking that these bat bites of ours are pretty permanent," Eddie smirked. "We're practically married."
"We are not married," Steve scoffed.
"Are you telling me we're getting divorced?" Eddie asked with a gasp. "So soon. . .oh, sweetheart, tell me what I did so I can make it up to you! Think of the kids, Steve!"
"Well, you didn't listen to me when I told you not to be a hero, so there's that," Steve said. "Not to mention the fact that you made Lucas feel bad about playing basketball, and you divided him and his friends as well as his sister. So, there's that as well."
"Shit, yeah, I do deserve the divorce," Eddie said, wincing and looking remorseful. "I'm not much better than my father, am I?"
"Hey, that not - I didn't mean it like that, Eddie. I'm sorry. Yeah, it's too soon to joke about it," Steve said softly. "Did you apologize to the kids? I mean, you did. I was there."
"Well, yeah," Eddie muttered.
"Was your dad actually sorry for anything he ever did? Would he have done what you did and tried to buy us more time? Would he have found a place for lost sheep to go to?" Steve asked.
"Well, no," Eddie admitted.
"Than you're a better man than your father ever will be," Steve shrugged. "Hold on."
Steve left the room, and a moment later, he returned with his pillow. He placed it on the bed next to him.
"What are you doing?" Eddie asked.
"Sleeping with my husband," Steve said.
"So, no divorce then?" Eddie asked with a grin.
"Are you kidding me? No way, I'm raising these hellions without a partner," Steve said. "You said it, we're married. Til death do us part, asshole."
"Goodnight, Mr. Munson," Eddie grinned.
He laughed as he sank down onto the bed beside Steve, who leaned over to turn off the light. He was thankful that Steve left the light on. Eddie watched as his husband closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. A deep wave of affection came over him as he studied Steve’s features. Oh, shit, what was that? Was he developing feelings for his husband? He liked girls. . .right? No, it was just indigestion. Eddie sighed with relief and closed his eyes.
"Steven, why are you sleeping with a man?" Robin's voice floated into Eddie's ears.
Eddie's eyes slowly opened, and he groaned quietly against the morning light streaming through the window. Steve was on his back, his eyes closed. Robin was standing over him, her hands on her hips.
"Oh my God, Robin, you can't just ask why two men are sleeping together this early in the morning," Steve groaned, his eyes remaining closed.
"Is there something you want to tell me, buddy?" Robin asked.
"Ugh, can't a guy sleep with his husband without any third degree?" Steve asked.
Neither one of them had noticed that Eddie was awake, much to Eddie's amusement.
"His what?!" Robin exclaimed and Eddie nearly laughed.
"Eddie said last night that the bat bites made us practically married," Steve said and groaned. "Don't make a big deal out of it, Robin. We're platonically married."
"Okay, I'll just let the kids know that their Daddies won't come downstairs because they're too busy platonically sleeping together," Robin said dryly. "It doesn't look platonic to me."
"Robin, stop, he doesn't like me that way," Steve sighed. "I doubt he likes men and women the way that I do or the way that I like him. I'll get up. They're probably going to want breakfast."
"Steve, he was clearly flirting with you! No one calls people "big boy" like that and means it platonically!" Robin exclaimed.
Eddie held in a breath until Robin and Steve left the room. He let it out with a loud gasp.
"Holy shit!" Eddie exclaimed. "I was flirting with Steve?!"
Eddie's eyes widened as he thought about all of his interactions with men. Yes, now that he's thinking about it, there was a definite attraction to certain jocks. Sure, he actually hated some of them, but Steve, he was pretty sure he hated for no reason back then. He did nothing to him or his friends, and he had always kept Hagan, as well as the other basketball players, on a tight lease. Well, he really tried to. Whenever he watched Steve play while in the gym, he always got irrationally angry at the sight of him. Maybe it wasn't hate. . .no, it definitely wasn't hate because he always wanted to bite him. It was so often that Eddie had, honest to God, thought that he was turning into a cannibal.
"Oh, fuck! Fuckity, fuck, fuck, shit! Goddamnit!" Eddie exclaimed.
As the days passed by, Eddie really tried to push his feelings for Steve aside. He wanted Steve to remain in his life and the one really romantic relationship he had he totally fucked up. No, he wasn't good at that shit and it would only ruin what he had with Steve now. It didn't help that Steve was basically taking care of him. Luckily, he was able to move around, and with the help of Robin, he was able to move downstairs. Unfortunately, she decided that she needed to talk her best friend up.
"I already know how great Steve is, Robin," Eddie mumbled. "I married him, didn't I?"
"No, you got married by a couple of interdimensional bats," Robin said. "You did not make the conscious decision at the time to marry my best friend."
"Why are you trying to sell me on Steve? I don't like him like that. I don't like men either," Eddie said as he lied out of his ass.
"You don't?" Robin asked, raising an eyebrow at him. "And I wasn't necessarily trying to convince you to do anything. I was just talking about how great Steve is."
"Well, if you think he's so great, why don't you date him?" Eddie asked.
"Well, I would, but he's got the hots for someone else. We're also strictly platonic. Let's see what else? . . . Oh! There's also the fact that I'm a lesbian," Robin said.
"Shit, seriously?" Eddie asked and stared at her for a while, not saying anything. "Goddamnit! Okay! Okay! I'm also. . .not exactly straight. I like men, I like women, and I am head over heels for Steve Harrington. Happy?"
"Well, yes and no. You know, I wasn't trying to pressure you into outing yourself, right?" Robin asked.
"Yeah, I know," he mumbled. "I was pressuring myself."
"Thank you for telling me," Robin said.
"Thank you for telling me," Eddie grinned.
"Are you going to tell Steve?" Robin asked.
"Nope. Never," Eddie said.
"Why?" Robin asked.
"I tend to mess up in that area, so why risk what I have with Steve now?" Eddie asked.
"Because these scars you carry are proof that every day could be your last, and I don't think telling Steve is going to scare him off," Robin said softly. "He might surprise you."
"I know he likes me, which I don't understand why," Eddie said. "My husband can do so much better."
"How do you know?" Robin asked.
"You guys weren't exactly quiet the other day. It made me realize that I like both, that I've been flirting with Steve," Eddie said.
"So, you're running away, being a chicken shit, because you've already decided that you're going to hurt him?" She asked with narrowed eyes.
"I would never purposely hurt him," Eddie said.
"Well, leading him on and thinking it's going to go somewhere is hurting him. So, whether you decide to go forward with your relationship or not, you're going to have to talk to him because you're going to hurt him either way. But you want to know what a good way of not hurting him is? . . . DECIDING TO FUCKING BE WITH HIM, YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT!" Robin shrieked. "Get your head out your ass. You both deserve to be with each other. We're all scared of telling people how we feel, but you know what I did after we averted the apocalypse?. . .I mean, eventually, I told Vickie how I felt. So, buck up. You're hurting yourself unnecessarily and Steve, especially since you're the one who knows that you like him and he likes you. Meanwhile, he's left in the dark about how you feel. I will not see Steve hurt. Got it?!"
Robin hit him over the head with a couch pillow. Eddie shrieked.
"Alright! Alright, I'll talk to him! Can I heal first?" Eddie asked.
"Yeah, that's fine, take your time," Robin said calmly, lowering the pillow. "So, do you want to be with him?"
"Of course I want to be with him. . .I'm just scared," Eddie said. "All of this is new."
"Well, I did say you could take your time," Robin said. "And if you tell Steve how scared you are of messing this up, he'll understand completely, and I'm sure you can both work through it together. . . You know, if you decide to be with him"
"This is fucking crazy. . .Steve Harrington likes me. I can't believe it. Nope! No way," Eddie said shaking his head.
"Yeah, I can't believe it either," Robin laughed.
"Fuck off," Eddie rolled his eyes.
Steve strolled through the door with a sigh as he walked into the living.
"Okay, the kids are all at home. Now we can have some time to ourselves. Well, us and Robin," Steve grinned.
He sat down on Eddie's other and kissed Eddie's temple as he wrapped his arm around him. It had quickly become a thing with them. . .to always be touching. Apparently, they were kissing each other on the head now.
"Hi, honey, did the kids give you a hard time?" Eddie asked as he squeezed his knee.
He could feel his eyes lighting up at Steve as he launched into details about the car ride. God, this was so fucking domestic and he loved it. More days passed, and he was able to move around on his own, but he was still in a lot of pain. Apparently, Steve was, too, but he had neglected to say anything until Eddie was cuddling up to him in bed and his arm wrapped around his stomach. Steve involuntarily winced. Yeah, the bat bites were no joke. Neither was their venom, which, according to the doctors were never going to go away. Luckily, Argyle and Jonathan offered a solution, but they arrived just as Steve was driving Robin to Vickie's.
"Uh, are we waiting for Steve?" Jonathan asked.
"Yeah, turns out he's in pain too," Eddie said as Argyle guided him to the couch. "He's just hasn't said anything. He prefers to suffer in silence, I guess."
"Bat bites are a bitch, huh?" Argyle asked.
"Yeah, the only good thing that's come from it is the permanent marriage between me and Steve," Eddie said with a grin.
"What?" Jonathan asked.
"It's a running joke," Eddie shrugged.
"With the whole kids thing, yeah, that makes sense," Argyle said.
"So, is Steve a good husband?" Jonathan smirked.
"Hell yeah!" Eddie exclaimed, slapping his knee. "Couldn't ask for a better baby daddy."
"Seriously?" Jonathan scoffed.
"You've got something against my husband, Byers?" Eddie smirked.
"It's just hard to imagine Steve being mature enough to handle being married," Jonathan said. "Let alone to a guy."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Eddie asked, the smirk dropping from his lips.
"Just that he's a notorious ladies man, Eddie. I wouldn't get your hopes, man. He's not exactly comfortable with. . .," Jonathan said, trailing off.
"With people like me," Eddie said, looking at him with hard eyes. "Did you just make an assumption about my sexuality, Byers?"
"Oh, man," Argyle said nervously. "I think Jonathan was trying to look out for you, man."
"I'm not his little brother, I'm a grown man," Eddie sighed.
"That's a fair point," Argyle said.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to do that, but I just trying to warn you about what kind of guy Steve is," Jonathan said. "I shouldn't have made an assumption about you."
"What kind of guy do you think that Steve is? Are you calling him homophobic in his own home?" Eddie asked.
"I think he's upset you're insulting his husband, Jonathan," Argyle said.
"I just want to know why you think that about Steve," Eddie said. "That's all."
Eddie was really trying not to show Jonathan how angry he is but the guy was making it difficult.
"He called me queer once," Jonathan said.
"That's it? He called you queer and that automatically makes him homophobic? I've used that word, and I'm about as straight as a cooked noodle," Eddie said defensively. "So, when, pray tell, did he call you this?"
"It was a few years ago," he muttered.
Eddie could tell that Jonathan was starting to realize how ridiculous it was.
"Look, man, I get where you're coming from, I do because I was pretty sure I hated Steve for a long time, and because of that, I held onto my prejudiced views about jocks for a long time. My reasoning behind that is clearly not the same as yours. . .at least, I hope not. After everything that Steve has done, how can you still think anything negative about the man?" Eddie asked.
"You can do great things and still have hateful thoughts," Jonathan said.
"He's not homophobic, you fucking idiot! You would know that if you had bothered to try and get to know him in the last few years," Eddie rolled his eyes. "He shouldn't have to keep apologizing for shit he's already apologized for."
"How do you know that?" Jonathan asked. "You haven't known him that long."
"It's all about quality, not about quantity, and I clearly know him better than you do, Byers," Eddie spat. "Your own brother feels safe around him. The kids look up to him. Nancy trusts him. Your mother and Hopper love him. Jesus, what is this really about?"
"Will won't shut up about him!" Jonathan snapped. "Every time they hang out or Steve drops him off, Will comes home gushing about him and I'm just worried. . ."
"What? That he's going to think that Steve’s the better older brother?" Eddie asked, and then he laughed. "That's stupid. That's even stupider than you holding onto a dumb grudge. You know what Will does when he's over here with his friends and Steve. . . He talks about you. It's non-stop, actually. The kid loves you, and no one is ever going to replace you. So, get that out of your thick skull. Trust me when I say this: Steve Harrington is not homophobic."
"Yeah, okay," Jonathan said softly.
"You need to talk to Steve about this and Will," Eddie said. "And Byers?"
"Yeah?"
"If you ever insult my husband again, I'll punch your lights out," Eddie said.
"Noted. I'm sorry. . . Are you in love with him?" He asked curiously.
"Head over heels, man," Eddie said.
"So, are we good?" Argyle asked.
"Yeah, we're good," Eddie said in amusement as he shook Jonathan's hand.
"Oh, thank God, I thought that was going to get really awkward there for a minute," Argyle said, and they laughed.
Later that night, Eddie was lying in bed with Steve, cradling him from behind. His hand was up Steve’s shirt, carassing his stomach right above his bat bites. He didn't want to let this go, but he was also ready to risk it all for Steve Harrington.
"Steve?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm in love with you," Eddie said softly.
Steve turned around in his arms so he was looking at him. His hazel eyes were big and round, looking at him hopefully. The light from the lamp beside his side of the bed was revealing all of the colors in Steve's eyes. The green and the brown intermingled beautifully, but the light also made his eyes look a little bit golden. Eddie sighed. God, he was beautiful.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"I'm in love with you too," Steve whispered.
"I know."
"Did you just fucking Han Solo - mmpf!"
Eddie crashed his lips to Steve’s, kissing him harshly. Steve smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Eddie gently as he threw his leg over Eddie's. Steve’s eagerly kissed him back, his fingers cupping the back of Eddie's head, tugging on his hair. Eddie moaned into his mouth. Steve gasped for breath as he broke the kiss.
"Is this really happening?" Steve asked.
"Til death do us part, asshole."

this request is from october I'm so sorry it took this long, thank you for requesting, ily ♥︎ fem!reader
Eddie’s friend Gareth has two kids.
Twin boys, they hang off of him one to each arm and might be the cutest kids you’ve ever seen that aren’t Roan. One is much, much cuddlier than the other, and when he climbs into your lap you really, honestly can’t say no. He’s practically a baby still, two and half years old and chatty without real words.
When he strokes your face with your hand, you look over his little head at Eddie where he’s sitting at the same picnic table and pout at him.
“You want one?” he asks, raising his eyebrows.
You rub the back of the baby’s head, hand stroking over fine, sandy brown hair. “Stop it.”
It’s a very cheeky joke considering you and Eddie haven’t been together that long. And besides, you think he might have his work cut out for him with his own baby girl, he doesn’t need another right now.
Said baby girl has taken to holding your hand basically everywhere you go. You adore Roan and if she wants to hold your hand whenever she sees you, it’s an improvement from her wanting to always be carried. She’d been holding your hand five minutes ago before she proclaimed her need to pee.
She emerges from the house and into the garden with her little hands dripping and Eddie beckons her over. You can hear their hushed conversation as he wipes her hands dry with his t-shirt.
“Did you flush?” he asks quietly.
“Yeah, daddy.”
“Did you wipe the right way?”
She looks a little embarrassed, and then that embarrassment gets eaten by Munson rage. “Yeah, dad.”
Eddie only laughs. “Okay, alright. Thanks, mini me. Kiss for a job well done?”
Roan gives him a quick kiss and then throws her gaze to you. You watch what looks to be excitement shrivel up and dissolve into dust, her eyes widened and then pinched with hurt.
“What’s the matter, baby?” you ask, hand splayed over the small back of your newfound charge.
She doesn’t talk to you. Roan turns on her heel and climbs straight into Eddie’s lap, small thighs either side of his waist and face falling into his t-shirt. He’s as confused as you are, dropping his face down closer to hers and murmuring something too quiet to hear. Her tiny black bunches bounce as she shakes her head.
He tucks a loose curl behind her ear. “Tell me, sweetheart,” he says gently.
Roan pushes her face deeper into his chest and sighs.
You’re at that stage of knowing and loving Roan where all of her upsets still feel huge to you. Eddie, having experienced her change in emotion every single day of her life, is much less affected. Not any less loving, or any less caring, but he doesn’t get so stressed. He pats her little back for what’s left of his friends garden party, and you say goodbye to your clinger when it’s time for their nap.
“Let’s go home, should we?” Eddie asks gently, forehead tapped against Roan’s.
She grumbles irritably and Eddie picks her up, her face quickly hidden in his neck. When all the goodbyes have been exchanged you follow him back to his car, nibbling your lip intermittently. Roan isn’t prone to being quiet like this unless she’s sick or tired, and it’s hours from bedtime, so she has to be sick.
"She's not warm," Eddie tells you.
"Do you feel sick?" you ask her anyways, not because you don't believe Eddie's capabilities as a dad, but for your own peace of mind — you don't like worrying about Roan. It gnaws at you.
She doesn't speak to you. In fact, she doesn't speak to you for hours. Not when you get home, not at the dinner table, and not during cartoons before bed. She doesn't hug you goodnight, and that's when Eddie gives a knowing, amused snort.
"What?" you ask, pulling your gaze from her retreating back to him. "What's funny? Your baby doesn't like me anymore, this is the opposite of funny."
"She's just jealous." You scoot away from him. He pulls you back in with an eye roll. "Not of me, dork. Of Henry."
You blink. "Gareth's kid?"
"Yes." His head lolls lazily to the side, and his smile is more a smirk than anything else. "Come on, sweet thing. Use your brain."
You would glare at him if the cogs weren't turning in your head. "Well, what do I do?" You stand up. "I gotta say sorry."
Eddie catches your hand. When you look at him, he shakes his head. You love and hate how smug he is as a dad, how he simultaneously knows all the answers but has to call Wayne at least once a week with some whacky question.
"What?"
"You don't have to say sorry to her for hugging another kid, just… explain that she's your favourite."
"She is my favourite."
"I know."
You look down the hall and then back to your boyfriend. "Will you come with me?"
"Always." Eddie gets up, and you hold hands all the way to Roan's bedroom, though the slim hallway makes it difficult.
He knocks on Roan's door. "Babe?"
"Daddy?"
He pushes open the door. Roan isn't sleeping, she usually doesn't until Eddie comes in to tuck her into bed and kiss her goodnight. She's sitting by the bottom of the bed with her big paper sketchbook and a crayon in hand, but she hasn't drawn anything yet. She drops the crayon and looks up at you both suspiciously.
"Y/N wants to talk to you. Do you wanna sit in the bed together?" he asks her.
She nods. Too soon, Eddie's pulling his hand out of yours and scooping Roan up deftly, and he climbs into her tiny princess bed with little hesitation. She looks small in his lap.
You sit gingerly opposite.
Eddie gives you an encouraging smile, worming his thumb into the palm of her hand.
"Roan," you start, awkward because Eddie's listening, hesitant because you don't wanna mess this up. You decide to go for the straightforward approach. "You know you're my favourite girl, yeah?"
She glares at you.
Not what you'd been expecting.
You try again. "I… I love you very much. Like, so much it squeezes out of me when you hug me, and you gotta push it all back in for me."
An inkling of a smile appears. She loves that game, and she's stronger than she looks. It really does feel like she's squeezing all the air from your lungs sometimes.
"And-" You continue, prompted by Eddie's voracious nodding. "And even though sometimes other boys and girls want to give me a hug, none of them ever give me hugs as good as yours. I just want you to know that your hugs are my favourite."
Roan leans back heavy into Eddie's chest. He kisses the top of her head unthinking, lips hidden by her dark brown curls.
Then, his lips move down to her ear, and he says, in his professional parenting voice that's all soft and warm, "I know you were unhappy when Y/N gave baby Henry a cuddle, but just 'cause she gave him a hug doesn't mean she can't give you one too. And ignoring people isn't something we like to do, is it?"
Roan frowns at him. "But she was holding my hand first."
"I know. You gotta share her, though. Like right now, you're in my lap, and Y/N isn't complaining. Maybe she wants to be in my lap, or maybe she wants you in hers."
You take the queue. "I miss my goodnight hug," you say, hands moving forward. You pout at her. "Please, Roan."
You wouldn't force Roan into a hug if you didn't think she wanted one. You're right, thankfully, and Roan stands up, wobbling across the mattress in her pink pyjamas and straight into your chest.
You curl your arms around her too tight and send Eddie your most thankful, loving look as Roan snuggles your neck.
"Missed you, princess," you murmur, hand creeping up her back to play in the soft ends of her hair.
You hug. Roan turns to mush, boneless, limp, every word for it, putty in your hands. Eddie had told you once that he thinks she likes your hugs because you're so soft.
He wiggles his eyebrows. "Think about it," he whispers. "You could have two of her. Three."
You close your eyes so you don't have to look at him, flustered but so happy you end up laughing.
"Kiss?" you ask Roan.
She nods. You cover her in kisses, every inch of her perfect face.

𖦹 bf!anton x fem!reader | fluff | best friends to lovers au 𖦹 note ; mwah tysm anon i love you,, also this is ADORABLE... thank u for requesting i hope u like it!! + reqs are closed !
Fun fact: you were terrible at Mario Kart.
Nintendo music accompanied by Anton's laughter echoes across your apartment as he wins the game again, grinning proudly.
"I told you, Princess Peach always wins." he boasts, waving the controller happily.
You scoff, folding his arms. "Hey, Yoshi can win too! Just you wait, I'll win you in the next round." you reason.
But just like the past five games, you don't.
"Just admit I'm better, hm?" Anton suggests, smiling.
You roll your eyes jokingly at how proud your best friend is, gently shoving him.
"Okay, let's not play anymore." you say, exiting the game and setting the controller aside. "How's life?"
Anton's eyes light up at the question, and he quickly sets the controller aside too.
He loved talking to you.
Whether it was a deep conversation about personal struggles or a stupid discussion about the validity of soap (don't ask), Anton knew you would always listen.
Your conversation goes on to the late hours of midnight, with Anton telling you about his upcoming vacation to Korea and you telling him about the random fight you witnessed at your lecture the other day.
By the time he's done talking about the cute cafe he passed by yesterday, it was already past two in the morning.
"And they have really cute cups too! We should go there someday." he says, stifling a yawn.
You nod, eyes drooping shut. "I think we should sleep." you mumble, stretching with a groan. "I only slept for four hours yesterday."
Anton gasps at this, dramatically shaking you by the shoulders. "Why didn't you tell me earlier? You should go to sleep, right now." he scolds.
Chuckling, you get up from the sofa with both of your hands up in the air. "Okay, fine! I'll go to sleep now."
Anton hums at this, pushing you towards your room. "We can talk more tomorrow," he says. "You look like a zombie right now."
He runs away too fast for you to hit him for the insult, giggling as he retreats to the living room. "Goodnight!" he calls out, waving cheekily at you.
"Goodnight!" you call back as you close your bedroom door.
Flopping onto your bed, you let out a happy sigh.
It was nights like these with Anton that made life feel worth living. You're still smiling contentedly to yourself as you get comfortable under the covers, drifting off to dreamland.
Until the roaring sound of thunder snaps you right out of it.
Each flash of light shining through your room made you flinch, the angry raindrops pelting against your windows making panic rise in your chest.
Scrambling out of bed, you run into the living room, almost tripping over your own feet in the process.
"Anton." you whisper nervously, tugging at his hand. "Anton, wake up."
The sleepy boy wakes up in a jolt, frowning in confusion. "H-Huh?" he mumbles, sitting up slowly. "What's wrong?"
"Can you sleep with me? I'm scared." you rambled, gasping in short and nervous breaths.
Even though Anton was half-awake, he immediately agrees.
He stumbles his way into your room and gets under your covers, making sure to pull it over you too.
"Are you okay?" he asks softly, voice groggy.
His heart breaks when you shake your head no, eyes filling up with tears.
"Don't cry, it's okay." he says, hugging you. "Just... think of it as the sky farting. That's what I used to tell my brother."
Even though you were almost scared out of your wits, you couldn't help but let out a little snort of laughter.
"Wow, that helps a lot." you deadpan, snuggling closer into his arms.
"I know right?" he giggles, rubbing your back gently.
But it actually does.
The fury of Mother Nature didn't seem so scary anymore at Anton's joke and in the security of his warm embrace.
You realize a lot of things aren't that scary anymore whenever you're with Anton.
Despite the both of you being rather shy and reserved people, he somehow always brought out the best in you.
Just his presence alone gave you confidence and security, knowing that there was always someone there who loved and supported you unconditionally.
From him cheering you on for your nerve-wracking first day of college to him helping you tell the waitress she got your order wrong at the local diner, he had always been there for you.
And even with him being half-awake, he still looked gorgeous.
His eyes sparkled with a love for the world brighter than the stars, the soft smile he flashed you warming your heart up in a way no one else could.
"Thank you." you whisper, looking up at the curly haired boy. Without another word, you kiss him on the cheek.
Anton feels like the world stops when you do so.
All the blood in his body rushes up to his head, the tips of his ears turning as red as apples while he blinks rapidly.
"W-What was that for?" he stutters, avoiding your eye contact.
"For this," you say. "For everything, actually. I think I like you." you admit.
Anton thinks he just might pass out.
Millions of thoughts run through his mind, but he says what he's been wanting to say for a long time.
"Well, what if I told you I liked you too?" he mumbles, finally meeting your eyes.
"You're joking." you mutter, even though you were praying that he wasn't.
"No, I'm not." Anton starts, turning so he could face you better.
"There's no one else I like to spend time with as much as I do with you." he confesses, gently tucking a piece of hair behind your ears.
"You're the only one that makes me feel this way, no matter what you do. Even if it's just you losing in Mario Kart for two hours straight."
You open your mouth to argue, but Anton puts a quick end to it when he kisses you, this time on your lips.
"You're my favorite loser." he whispers. "Can you be my loser forever?"
Nodding, you can't help but smile at how corny your best friend - no, your boyfriend - could be.
"I'll be yours forever."

That night you had unexpectedly received a call.
"Hey, why are you calling me?"
"Hi, uhm my flight back home is just tomorrow. And I wanted to talk, can I come over?"
"We don't have much to talk about."
"That's not true. I still have a lot say..."
And you knew you shouldn't give in to her. At least not this easily. But you couldn't help yourself, despite your brain's excessive work to build new relationships, deep down inside the feelings you once had, still roamed in you.
"Okay."
"I'll be there in ten."
Eight minutes had barely gone by, when she ringed the doorbell.
"Come in." As you opened the door and stepped aside for her to pass.
"Thanks." She followed, as usual taking her shoes off and setting them by the door, without needing to think about it. It was automatic.
You went to pour yourself some wine, and poured her some too, in the process.
"It's the one you really like" As you handed her the glass.
You two sat quietly on the couch waiting for the other to start the conversation.
"Lea said I should give you some space."
"And you ignored her I see."
"I should have told you I was planning on moving here."
"That would've been nice.
I just done get it. Why?"
"I promise I'm not doing this to get on your nerves. But we just didn't have the opportunity to talk about it during camp. I was trying to respect the limits you imposed.
My work in Wolfsburg, didn't make sense anymore. I need to step up my career. To be in a team where I can actually compete with."
"I'm not judging you for that, I'm judging you for your awful skills at being a good friend."
"I'm not a bad friend. I'm just trying to figure out how to navigate this friendship without hurting you anymore than I already did."
By now you were already pouring you two another glass.
"I would have left Bayern for you. I almost did."
You watched the guilty expression on her face.
"I wouldn't forgive myself if you did."
"It just seems like we can never meet each other half way."
"I know I'm to blame for a lot of it." by now she had tears threatening to roll down her face.
"I've forgiven you. But it's sounds like you need to forgive yourself."
You tried your best to wipe away her tears as you took a hold of her face.
"You aren't perfect, and you never will be. If your waiting on that to allow yourself to live, your going to suffer forever." She only nodded to herself, looking into your eyes. "Its not about what you did. We've talked about that. It's about what you do from now on. It's about you choosing a better way. This isn't over."
And maybe she read the signs wrong. But when she kissed you, you didn't pull away. Maybe it was the wine. Maybe it was the fact you missed her terribly.
But then she decided to pull away. Much to your despair.
"I'm sorry, I just let my feelings take control."
"It's fine, it's not like I didn't kiss you back."
"I think I really should get going."
"Yeah, sure."
Walking her to the door, you gave each other an awkward hug. Not knowing how to act.
"Bye, Y/N."
"I'll see you soon. Goodnight schatz."
You mentally punched yourself after letting that one out.
"I meant Lena, goodnight Lena."

project: make you love me (jyh) | two.
♣︎ spotify playlist | series masterlist
—summary: yunho can’t stand how you’re so wrapped up in the notorious campus fuckboy, park seonghwa. he would gladly love you the way you deserve, despite being shy, awkward and the complete opposite of seonghwa. thus, when he finds himself spending more time with you over literature reviews and random study sessions, he decides to take on the challenge to win you over.
—pairing: jeong yunho x f. reader x park seonghwa
—genre: (18+ - minors dni) strangers/friends to lovers, college au | fluff, angst, (eventual) smut
—word count: 3.6k
—chapter content/warnings: nothing too bad since we're still in the beginning stages of things lol, cussing, friends being supportive, friends being instigators and projecting!!, hwa still being hwa, yunho being shy and awkward but very caring
You scrambled to get your literature review done, almost forgetting that you had to send it to Yunho before officially submitting it to your professor. It's a bit past midnight when Seonghwa decides it's time to drop you off— even if it gets incredibly late, he'd prefer to drop you off at home rather than let you stay.
All Seonghwa's bullshit plans.
You yawn as you quietly step into your shared apartment, careful not to wake your roommates as you pull out your laptop and finish your lit review on the kitchen island in the dark. It fucking sucks that absolutely nothing is coming to you for this review because now, Yunho is probably going to think you're just flat out dumb for not being able to see what everyone else sees.
"Hey." You whip your head up so fast you almost give yourself whiplash. Seungmin groggily walks out of his room and into the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water. "Why are you working out here in the dark? Did you just get home?" You nod.
"Mhm. Forgot I had to finish that literature review and send it to Yunho."
"Forgot already?"
"Shut up, okay? Not my favorite assignment to work on. Besides, I wanna give him some time to review it and chew my ass if he needs to. Rather him than Dr. Nelson at this point." You type away, probably hella nonsense and gibberish about the movie at this point.
"Hm." Seungmin hums as he quickly drinks his water. "Don't stay up too late."
"I won't. Just gonna give this a few more words then send it off." You sigh. God, you almost regret asking Yunho [out of all people] for help. He's super smart and he always knows what he's doing. Was this the right route to go? Maybe you should've just asked Dr. Nelson and dealt with it.
"Mkay. Goodnight then, Y/N." Seungmin yawns as he drags himself back to his shared room with Soobin. You decide that you're gonna take another 10 minutes to finish off the review, giving it everything you can think of right now. If it needs tweaking or any additional details, Yunho can surely step in and help. You feel exhaustion hitting you quickly, giving your review the last bout of energy you have left before you shower and call it a night.
"Done." You say to yourself, sending it off to Yunho as an attachment.
He probably won't look at this until later.
You make sure to double check your emails and assignments, keeping track of everything that's due and needs to be turned in—
Ding.
You peep the notification that pops up on the bottom right of your laptop screen.
"1 New Email from: Jeong Yunho ([email protected])"
"What the fuck?" You mutter to yourself. It hasn't been a whole 10 minutes since you sent the email. You click on the notification anyway, letting it bring you to the new email in your student inbox.
— do you have time to meet really quickly later today? i wanna go over your review with you. cool if you can't though, just prefer to talk to you in person instead of marking up your page without any explanation to back it up.
You sigh and sit there, trying to remember your schedule for tomorrow. You do have a 45 minute break in between your morning classes. Hopefully, he's free.
— sure! i'm free from 10:15-11. does that work for you?
"1 New Email from Jeong Yunho ([email protected])"
— yup, i don't have class till after lunch. i'll be working at one of the booths in the library.
You sit back and respond, feeling a bit of relief.
— cool, see you. :) thanks for your help.
Yunho sits at his desk, feeling a bit awkward and nervous even though you can't see him right now. It's probably a little pathetic at how quick he opened up your email, but to be fair, you seemed like you really needed the help and that's what he wanted to give you. You aren't necessarily writing bad reviews, since you're hitting all the right points. But, he has Dr. Nelson figured out. He doesn't want just the facts— he wants you to think outside of the box, write out the emotions, feelings, outcomes of all the actions, give examples, state what your thoughts are on how this effects the surroundings, other characters. You just need to add that little umph to your reviews and give him more than the bare minimum. Yunho gets it though, it's not easy to tap into that all the time. That's why he's here to help.
He's hoping he can be the help you need.
"Did you come in pretty late last night or was Seungmin sleep walking?" Soobin scratches the side of his head as the two of you walk towards the library.
"No, that was me." You chuckle.
"Did Seonghwa at least walk you to the door? Cause that's late."
"Yeah right." You scoff and Soobin shakes his head. "Whatever though, he drops me off as close as possible to our building."
"Still. He should at least walk you halfway."
"Mm, yeah." Is all you respond with. "Anyway, lunch later? I have to meet with Yunho to talk about this review."
"Oh? You're actually meeting with him? That's new. I feel like that's something out of the ordinary for Yunho."
"He asked if we could so that he could explain better instead of just marking up my review."
"That's nice of him."
"Yeah, hopefully I'm not too much of a pain in the ass."
"Doubt it. You just need a little guidance, that's all. Sure he'll be super helpful." Soobin smirks. "He seems to not go out of his way for people, maybe he likes you."
"Are you serious right now? All because I need help over a literature review." Soobin laughs.
"Just saying. I already like Yunho way more than Seonghwa."
"Okay, I'm leaving. I'll see you later." You roll your eyes and enter the quieter side of the library where the booths are located. It's easy to spot Yunho, especially with that towering figure of his even while sitting. Today, he's wearing a navy and white flannel, with a grey shirt underneath. His hair falls to his face as he leans over to write some notes. He has one finger placed on a page in his textbook, while the other hand is busily writing away. He glances to and from every now and then, only looking up at his surroundings when he feels you approaching.
"Um, hi." You awkwardly stand near the booth with your books tucked against your chest. He simply looks at you before giving you a tiny, pursed smile and returning his attention to his books.
"Hey." He moves his book and notebook closer to himself in order to give you some room. "Sorry, just need to finish this right quick."
"That's okay. Take your time." You slide in awkwardly and set your books on the surface of the table. "Thanks for going over my review."
"No worries." He says softly before finishing up his notes and shutting his books closed. He brings out his laptop and types away to unlock it, pulling up your document before turning the laptop towards you. "So."
"Sorry, I know it was bad." You look at him, a little shy and embarrassed. He tilts his head a bit and furrows his brow while looking at you.
"Huh? No, it wasn't bad, Y/N." He lets out a small chuckle. "You're hitting the right points, Dr. Nelson is just super complex and wants you to use these facts a bit more." He points at a line in your review. "You talk about the characters feelings here after an upsetting moment, which is right. But, how does it affect their surroundings? Their actions, the people around them, what they get themselves into to cope. How does feeling bad branch out to all these things? Why? How does it contribute to their overall attitude, to the overall character?" You nod.
"It seems so easy to talk about, but I don't know why I have so much trouble doing it. I feel kinda dumb." He shrugs.
"You're not. You just have to dig into the details a little more and use those examples instead of staying safe and stating what we know already. It's easy to stay safe because you know what you're stating is gonna be right. Dr. Nelson just wants a little more than that, is all."
"Thanks, Yunho." He gives you a toothless smile.
"Of course. Uh," He scratches his temple. "Let's go through everything else? So, I can be of better help to you?" You nod.
"Only if you're okay with it."
"Yeah. Just wanna make sure I help you out correctly." He lets out a shy chuckle before thoroughly going through your literature review with you. He asks you the right questions, allowing you to edit your own document on his laptop while the two of you continue to converse. He shares his thoughts and the things he's included on his review, making it easier for you to understand what you were missing and leaving out in your own.
Literature was never your favorite. You partially didn't care enough to put in enough effort, hence the lack of patience and understanding with the assignments— the lack of patience and understanding with your own professor.
As 11 closes in, you sit and look at your fully edited review feeling content. You look at Yunho, a small toothless smile on your face while he awkwardly glances around the library to avoid long eye contact. He gently taps his hands against the surface of the table, waiting for you to break the silence.
Which, you eventually do.
Thank god.
"Yunho, I feel so much better about this." You slide the laptop over to him. "Thanks for helping me, seriously. I don't know what I'd do if I had to see Dr. Nelson's comments again."
"It's not a problem." He shrugs. "I um, can continue to look at your reviews if you want?" Your eyes light up as you nod delightfully.
"Really?"
"Sure."
"I have to repay you somehow, that's too much on your plate isn't it?"
"It's not. I wouldn't offer if it was." He chuckles a bit.
"Lunch one day?"
"You don't have to."
"I would like to. Or, if our schedules don't work, we can always meet for coffee and go in on the café desserts."
"Sounds good." He smiles and pulls out his phone to slide it towards you. "Mm, do you think I can grab your number? Sorry, don't mean to be lame about it. I just figured it'd be easier instead of emailing each other. Unless that's what you.. prefer?" You chuckle and shake your head.
"No, this is totally easier. Don't worry." You plug your number in before sliding it back to me. "There."
"That's me." He says after giving you a quick ring so you can save his number on your own phone. You start to gather your things to start heading to class when you hear a familiar laugh come from one of the aisles to your right. You turn over your shoulder to catch wind of the noise, finding Seonghwa deep in conversation with another classmate, another senior girl [actually this one is probably Hyeri?] She seems to be laughing at his jokes, even though they probably aren't that funny. Somehow, the way he looks at her [along with any other female who isn't you] breaks your heart.
Breaks your heart even though there isn't anything else left to break.
Seonghwa briefly makes eye contact with you before his eyes quickly dart to Yunho, then back to Hyeri in front of him. You quietly continue to gather your things and swallow the lump forming in your throat, unsure why you allow this feeling to completely ruin your mood. Yunho takes note, for sure though. Again, he's not sure if he should feel bad because you surely knew what it was like getting tangled with Seonghwa. That was no secret on campus. However, he's an empath, and seeing that you've been kind and calm around him— he can't help but feel bad. A tiny bit sad, upset even, that you continue to let yourself mess around with Seonghwa when you deserve so much more.
Yunho challenges Seonghwa a bit though, letting his eyes linger on him until Seonghwa breaks away first. He checks on you and parts his lips slightly because he wants to say something, anything— he's just not sure what. Eventually, he settles with:
"Are you okay?" It's clear you're not and Yunho immediately feels stupid as fuck for settling with that question.
"Hm, yeah. Just tired, is all." He nods, watching as you slide out of the booth and swing your bag strap over your shoulder.
"Don't hesitate to text me if you need anything else. I'll try and help." When he says it, he's hoping you can catch onto the fact that he's someone who could listen to your troubles. He's not good with words or opening up to people, but he thinks he could at least offer that after seeing the way you sank in front of him. His eyes dart back up to you when you tuck your books back to your chest and smile at him.
"I will. Thanks again, Yunho. Lunch or coffee soon, okay?" You say sweetly before leaving him back to his lonesome.
"How was your date with Yunho?" Soobin asks as he forks his salad and takes a big bite. You glare at him before shaking your head.
"This is how rumors spread, you idiot." Chaery smacks him on the back of the head, making him laugh but slightly wince in pain at the same time.
"I'll whoop your ass if you say that word and Yunho in the same sentence one more time." You roll your eyes. "My literature review session with him went fine. He did help me out a lot, practically added another page to my review from all the edits we made."
"That's good." Soobin says, laughing. "Are you gonna have him review your literature stuff from now on?"
"Probably, it comes so easy for him. Or, maybe I just lack the patience." You shrug. "But, his help would definitely be nice. I need to push my grade up."
"Mhm." Soobin wiggles his brows.
"He's pushing this Yunho agenda so much." You point at Soobin while looking at Chaery and she shrugs.
"I mean don't get me wrong, I'm on the same bloat." You glare at her. "But, I'm on your side more than anything!" She quickly bounces back, making you sigh.
"I give up." You mumble as you rest your chin on the palm of your hand. Suddenly, your phone vibrates off to the side, making you lazily tap your screen to see who the notification is from.
"Better not be Seonghwa." You glare at Chaery once again.
"I'm taking this to the couch." You stick your tongue out before grabbing your phone and walking over to the couch in the living room. Because it's not, and you don't really wanna deal with your teasing friends even more.
yunho: btw, i like this website if i don't really wanna dig too deep into the details
yunho: it's a good website that summarizes a lot of the themes in books, and they have a huge catalog
You smile and respond back, feeling appreciative that he thought of you.
yunho: srry for the triple text, hope i didnt bother
you: you didn't. thank you, yunho :) i'll bookmark this that way i won't have to bother you so much lol
yunho: you're not a bother haha but np. have a good night!
you: you too!
Then, another comes in. And of course it's Seonghwa. But, the message isn't your typical message, no. It's a message that easily rubs you the wrong way because why? Why does Seonghwa like to pull this shit?
seonghwa: since when did you talk to jeong yunho? lol
you: why does it matter?
seonghwa: it's a simple question?
you: you're ridiculous, you know? we're in the lit same class. again, not that it matters .. ?
seonghwa: how am i ridiculous? lol
you: whatever seonghwa
seonghwa: why are you upset, baby? i'm just asking. i don't see what yunho's point is
you: he has no point, he's just helping me out.
seonghwa: okay, sure lol do you wanna come over? could use your company ):
you: not tonight
you: maybe you can call hyeri, or whatever her name is. i'm spending time with my roommates
seonghwa: baby, seriously? i was talking to a classmate. can we not fight over dumb shit again?
you: goodnight seonghwa
You sigh out of irritation, tossing your phone aside. It's a bit close to 10pm, but you feel like getting some fresh air and taking a quick walk around the complex would do you some good.
"Chaery, can we take a walk?" She looks at you and nods.
"Sure."
"What about me?" Soobin asks with a mouth full.
"You're eating."
"I can take it with me."
"It's girl talk." He cringes a bit and shakes his head.
"Nevermind. Be safe, come back soon." You chuckle just as Chaery walks out of your shared room in a hoodie. She has one of your jackets in your hand, handing it over as she gets closer.
"It's a bit cold tonight. Jacket?"
"Thanks." You smile at her as you throw it on and zip it up, sliding into your slippers before walking out. Chaery is right; the air is colder, crisp. It has a little bite, especially against your skin. Chaery wraps her arm around yours, pulling you close for extra body heat.
"What happened, babe?"
"Huh?"
"You told Soobin it was girl talk." You laugh a bit and nod.
"Oh yeah, right. It is." You sigh as you hold her close. "Nothing, it's just Seonghwa. He texted me just to ask when I started talking to Yunho and what his point was. Got on my nerve."
"Ew, what's his problem? Y/N, seriously. You can do so much better than him. I know it's not easy, and I know he has his moments with you. But baby, you deserve someone who is always sure about you and who will be happy to flaunt you off."
"I know." You sigh. "It's like every time I think about leaving, he does something to keep me close."
"But, it shouldn't be this way, you know? You shouldn't have to wait for these moments. It should happen every day if he really cared about you."
"Yeah." Is all you can say because what can you say? It's hard to break it off with Seonghwa because this is your routine, something you've gotten used to— his presence is something you've gotten accustomed to. Even if it he isn't necessarily the best, he keeps you company. The kind of company that you like.
"How was meeting up with Yunho? Did he help you with your review?"
"A lot. He is super helpful, and he offered to keep helping me."
"Aw." Chaery giggles. "That is so sweet of him."
"He's actually really kind, and patient. I offered to take him out for lunch or something one day."
"Cute. Yeah, you should! Get to know him. Maybe he just needs a little pushing out of his shell, you know? You could probably help him in return." You shrug.
"Maybe? He's still—" Suddenly, Chaery's eyes shoot up to the figure ahead. She does a little gasp before making a cute noise and dragging you closer.
"Yunho!" She says, waving at him. He looks a little startled, but he stops in his tracks and waits with his hands in his pockets— a shy, small smile creeping at the corner of his lips. "Wait, oh my god! I didn't realize you lived here, too! I mean, so does the majority of campus, but still!" You sure as hell didn't know either, and you feel a bit bad that you just probably never noticed.
"Uh, yeah. I just live over there." He points at his building.
"Who do you live with?"
"Kang Yeosang." Chaery nods.
"Ah, cute. What a pair." You give her a look before shifting your attention back to Yunho. He quietly waits for the next part of the conversation, his eyes softly gazing over you.
You're cute.
"What are you doing out here this late?"
"Could ask the same for you two." He chuckles and nervously scratches at the nape of his neck. "I, uh, can't sleep sometimes. The walk kinda helps."
"Ah, I see. Makes sense."
"So.." He awkwardly says, shifting weight from one foot to another. "Also couldn't sleep?" You shrug.
"We just needed to get out and get some air." Chaery cuts in for a follow-up to avoid any Seonghwa talk. Though, she knows Yunho wouldn't do that to you.
"It's getting late though, and pretty cold."
"We're just gonna walk to the end then walk back."
"Hm, okay."
"It was nice running into you." Chaery smiles. "I hope you can get some rest tonight!"
"Hopefully. Have a good night." He looks at her, then you; he gives you a very tiny, very subtle nod of acknowledgement. With that, the two of you walk past to continue your walk, Chaery praising how gentle and good-looking Yunho is until the end of the walk. Yunho knows the community is safe, but he cuts his walk short just to head up to his building and get a better view of yours. He hangs over the railing near the stairs, catching sight of you and Chaery. He watches as you circle back around to your building, slowly heading up the stairs. He can hear your laughs from where he stands, and he's glad you seem to be okay tonight.
It's good that you have great friends by your side.
When your figures disappear into the hallway, Yunho feels content, relieved— knowing you've both made it safely home. He turns on his heel to make it to his own apartment, greeted by a dark living room with echoes of Yeosang yelling at his PC.
At least you're okay.
At least you're not outside, waiting in the cold.
At least you're with good company.

𝐁.𝐙 ❦ 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒?
This is pt.1 of my 4pt series. The next part will be posted a few mins after this!! I need need to quickly edit some things! This is a pretty long one and it took me AGES. Sorry if the plot carries on for too long, I rlly tried here. :,)
No warnings just fluff!
==========
You're a 6th year Ravenclaw dating Draco Malfoy. You aren't the stereotypical Ravenclaw, although you are academically smart, you were extremely street smart. You and Blaise have been friends since your 2nd year at Hogwarts. You two are close, but you grew apart after you started dating Draco.
THIRD PERSON:
Blaise, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle are all sitting in the Slytherin common room. "Pansy is so fine...I think i'm gonna try to get with her..." Draco says as he sits on the couch. "Don't you have a girlfriend?" Goyle says laughing. Blaise sits on the chair across from Draco, glaring. "I mean...who said I can't have two girlfriends?" Draco says smugly. "I don't know man, that seems kinda wrong, and plus aren't Y/n and Pansy friends?" Crabbe says eating a muffin. "Well, I thought Ravenclaws were supposed to be smart...and if she can't figure out what i'm doing then maybe that's just a personal problem for Y/n." Draco says shrugging. "You know that she will find out eventually? I've known her since 2nd year trust me...when she finds out, you'll be sorry." Blaise says with a dead tone to his voice. "Well..I'm gonna go to sleep see you guys tomorrow..." Blaise says as he walks to his dorm. "What's his problem?" Draco asks scoffing. "Well they have been friends for a while now, I mean i wouldn't be surprised if he told Y/n..." Goyle says shrugging. "Let's just hope he knows better." Draco says dead tones.
TIME SKIP : 2 WEEKS LATER IN YOUR DORM
You and Cho share a dorm.
-------------------
"Cho...I got a question." You say as you roll to lay on your stomach. "Hm?" she says looking up from her sketch pad. "Do you think Draco actually likes me? I mean...like I know we've been dating for 7 months now but these last couple of weeks it's been different. I mean he doesn't even sit by me in charms anymore." You say resting your head on your hand. "Well...I know for sure when you guys first started dating that he liked you. I mean you two were inseparable...he was even trying to find a way into our common room." she laughs "but I just feel like he'a losing feelings..." you say flipping through pictures of you and Draco. "I don't wanna hurt your feelings Y/n..." Cho says turning around in her desk chair. "It's okay...I kinda already know your answer anyways." You say lightly smiling. "He's a player...he's known for liking a girl for a couple months then getting bored of them. I wouldn't be surprised if he's already found another girl. He just isn't a good person or boyfriend. I don't see what you see in him. You're such a sweet girl and if I was you I would be with someone whose not as vile and repulsive as him....but that's just me." Cho says closing her sketchbook. "I'm gonna go to sleep now and just let you think about what I said." she says getting tucked into her blue silk comforter. "Ok...thank you for everything Cho...goodnight." you says giving her a warm smile. "Goodnight Y/n, sleep well..." Cho says as she turns over.
You couldn't go to sleep that night. Cho's words stuck in your head. All night all you could think about was the fact that the boy you loved could be cheating on you. Everything you done for the past 7 months had been for Draco. All of it, your entire life, was Draco. You changed so many things about yourself just to fit his needs. You quite quidditch so you could go to his games. You spent your spring break with Draco in France, instead of visiting your mom in Spain. You even cut off Blaise...your best friend since 2nd year. A man that understood your emotions and thoughts. The only person who knows why you love astronomy, the only person who knows why you cover your face when you laugh, the only person who really knows why you love hugs so much. Blaise was the only person you had told such personal things to. Stuff about you that's so sentimental you didn't even tell Draco. You had never realized how much of your life was revolved around his happiness. You were giving your all into a boy that was giving you nothing in return.
THE NEXT DAY
===================
"Y/n! Y/n! Wake up! Its 8:45! You're gonna be late for charms class!" Cho says shaking you awake. "OH SHIT!" you say springing up from your bed. "Thank you so much for waking me up Cho!" You say as you frantically run to your vanity. Then you look down at your wrist watch.

"Ha.Ha. Very funny Cho." You say turning around in your chair sarcastically clapping your hands. "Did you really think I wouldn't wake you on time?" She says lightly laughing. "Thank youu, you know that I appreciate it." you say as you start taking your hair out of its curlers. "Perfecto~" you say when you see the first curl in your hair. "Cho you know what that means...perfect hair day equals a perfect day over all!" "Yeah yeah well last time I heard that phrase you fell in a puddle" Cho says giggling. "Yeah, but after I fell in that puddle I cast a perfect Patronus charm." You remarked as you continued getting ready for the day by doing you're skin care and makeup. Then putting on your gold earrings and necklace. "Hey Y/n, I think we should head out now if we wanna make it to breakfast in time to eat?" Cho questioned. "Yeah, ok, just give me a second I gotta get my charm bracelet on." As you are putting on your bracelet you remember that Blaise was the one who bought you it, in your 4th year.
FLASH BACK
=============
That day Blaise had asked you if you wanted to go to Diagon alley with him to go shopping. You and him had wandered around the alley going into every shop looking at brooms, sweaters, shoes, but most importantly you both went into a jewelry boutique. You and Blaise looked around until you came across a gold charm bracelet that had a dark blue diamond butterfly charm. "Ouuu, Blaise look at this bracelet!" you said as he wandered back over to you. You looked at the bracelet in awe;while as Blaise looked at you in awe of your beauty. "Uhm excuse me? How much is this charm bracelet?" You asked the worker who stood behind the counter. "I don't think you kids would be interested in that one...It's 80 galleons." The worker says looking at you two with pity. "Hey Blaise I think we should get back to Hogwarts...it's getting late anyways." you said bummed out. "Yeah...you can head back without me there's a couple of things I still have to take care of down here." Blaise said softly. "Okayyy, be safe though on your way back okay?" You said as you walked out of the store. When you were about to walk back into the common room you heard Blaise yell "Y/N! Wait!" You turn around to see Blaise running up to you. "Shhhh! You're gonna get us in trouble!" you whisper yell at him. "Okay okay! But I got you something..." He says as he pulls the gold charm bracelet out of his back pocket. You gasp "BLAISE! REALLY?! AHHH YOU DIDNTT" "Shhhhh!" he says covering your mouth with his hand. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" you exclaim ingulfing him in a hug. "You're welcome, now go to sleep. You should've already been in bed." Blaise said smiling. You went to sleep that night thinking that Blaise bought the bracelet. Blaise went to sleep that night knowing he stole it. But it just so happens that, that day was a good hair day.
END OF FLASH BACK
=================
"Y/n!" Cho says waving her hand in front of your face. You finally snap out of your thoughts. "Geez you zoned out for like 30 seconds!" Cho says mildly worried. "Heheh, sorry I didn't realize" you say finishing putting on your bracelet.
TIME SKIP TO CHARMS CLASS
============
As you walk into charms class, you sit in your regular seat. You see Draco walk in, he looks at you, then walks to sit on the other side of the classroom. Although there was no actual assigned seats in Charms Class Draco had sat by you in every class you've had up until now. Instead of sitting by his girlfriend he decides to sit by Pansy? You were on your final straw with the way Draco had been treating you. All you can feel is your throat starting to burn. All you could do was stare at him conversating with Pansy. You wanted to get up and slap him across the face but for some reason your body stayed in the same place; you couldn't bring yourself to do it. As you continue to get lost in your thoughts, you feel a hand on your shoulder. A familiar aroma surrounds you - the smell of red wine, a almost musky scent - "Are you okay?" a low voice asks you. You look up to see Blaise. You take a moment to fully realize it's him. "Yeah...sorry I guess I just zoned out for a second.." you say slightly embarrassed. "I noticed" he says lightly laughing; he sits down next to you. You and Blaise sit in a comfortable silence and Professor Flitwick teaches the class how to cast a Auguamenti charm; the spell to make water. Everyone was working in partners. While Blaise was working on casting the charm, you couldn't help but stare at Draco trying to flirt with Pansy. "Y/n, it's your turn to try casting the charm." Blaise says monotonously; he takes the bowl and places it in-front of you. With a flick of your hand you cast the charm nearly perfect. "Wow! Miss. Y/L/N , perfect! Nothing less than what I would expect from my star student!" Professor Flitwick says happily. "You and your partner may have the rest of class off!" He says making a arm jester to the door. As you're heading out of the classroom you feel Draco's eyes staring at you. "Hey... wanna go chill in the court yard or something?" Blaise says nodding his head in the direction of the court yard. "Mmmm, Sure..." you say smiling lightly. When you and Blaise sit down on one of the stone benches he turns to you like he has something to say, "Can I talk to you about something real quick?" Blaise says with a unsure look in his eyes. "Mhm, of course" you say curiously. "I feel like we've uhm grown apart I guess...we used to be best friends but now I feel like we don't even talk to each other, you know? I don't know...we've just been friends for so long and I uhm.... i just don't wanna lose you...I guess what i'm trying to say is that I miss you, I miss talking to you, I miss sneaking around the castle late at night, I miss going to Hogsmeade with you, I just miss everything about our friendship." Blaise says avoiding eye contact with you. "Blaise i'm so sorry" you say feeling a tight burning sensation in the bottom of your throat, you feel the tears building up in your eyes. It was rare for Blaise to open up like that; he has a habit of keeping his feelings tucked away. You hug Blaise, your arms around his neck; with your head tucked into the crook of his neck. He hugs you back. "I'm so sorry Blaise...Draco said he didn't feel comfortable with me being around you so much...I should've never let it go this far..." You say with tears rolling down your face. "It's okay. I figured it was something along those lines." He says un wrapping his arms from you. He wipes a tear off your cheek with his thumb. You smile and rest your head on his shoulder. "Hey Y/N there's one more thing I need to tell you." Blaise says. "Hm?" You say keeping your head on his shoulder. He pauses. "Draco...he's cheating on you...or atleast he's trying to. About two weeks ago he was saying some dumb shit about how he's gonna go after Pansy." He says dead toned. "I know..."
