oh wait also I know you have thoughts about Stella and yozora and those guys, I have like zero clue what goes on/is implied about them (I know nothing about versus XIII), so if you’d like to rant about that use this an an opportunity:>
Okay, I read this wrong at first and went into a whole rant about Yin and Yang and they’re connected Yozora and Stella then I reread the question and put down this but now lets to the point.
I have some many feelings towards Yozora and Stella since they seem to be connected to Sora and Riku, not to mention the old Final Fantasy 15 too..
Now let's talk about Stella and Yozora:
My favorite thing is that the two of them are based off the old version of Noctis and Luna which I think is pretty cool cause you can see it in the design choice.
Yozora- Now from what we know about Yozora is not that much but I find him really interesting and hope that he is similar to the OG Noctis. I love his design even though he looks like a deviantart verison of Riku which I FIND SO FUNNY.
I feel like he’s gonna be the evil version of Namine, trying to replace Sora's memory with his and Stella or put Sora in Stella's place while also maybe making a false memory of him and Riku.
I feel like Yozora is gonna make Riku to be like some bad person in his memories and replace the good ones with bad and fake ones instead.
I don’t trust Yozora but I do love him.
Stella- I love her! She is so pretty!! She looks really similar to Sora which at this point I'm convinced that Quadratum may be an alternative Universe maybe??
I wonder what her and Yozora relationship was like and if it was a close relationship like Sora and Riku.
Now, I'm gonna give you some info about the OG Noctis and Luna. Now it was kinda like Romeo and Juliet but it was mostly a kinda unknown one sided relationship?
Noctis was the one to pined for Stella and tried to pursue her. Noctis doesn’t know how Stella feels for her and you don't know what Stella feels for Noctis.
Then that reminded me of Sora and Riku. We know how Riku feels toward but we don’t how Sora feels toward Riku. (I don’t even think Sora know, lmao)
With this information it makes me think ‘OMG, what if Yozora was that deeply in love with her?? WHAT IF?!?!’ Knowing this is a Nomura game has me hoping that Yozora and Stella Relationship is shown like that.
Yozora gets ready to tell his feelings for Stella just for her to rip away from him. (Honestly, Nomura would do that…)
Also In the OG story of FF13 Noctis and Luna's families are against each other. So it's kinda enemies to lovers? But Noctis flopped and fell in with his enemy…BEAUTIFUL!
Fun fact: Noctis and Stella out represent white and black too which love that design choice cuz Light and Darkness elements..
Not to mention, Sora being light to Riku darkness which I think will have the same Yozora and Stella thing going on for the both of them...
Cuz, what if Yozora's heart gets taken by darkness and Stella would use the power of light to get it back??
Proving to be her light to his darkness!! But I think unlike the OG Stella and Noctis they’re being enemies to lovers. It's gonna be Friends to lovers then to enemies…
Have a KH1 Soriku thing going on but no lover thing included!
I WANNA KNOW MORE ABOUT THEM!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!!!
As for Aegis and Magia, Yozora Goofy and Donald. They’re pretty cool. I hope to see them in KH4 being helped by Sora during some battles!

I Really Could Stay Chapter 2
I Really Could Stay: ~1250 words. Kairi finds out Sora won't be home in time for Christmas and wonders about their future together.
Story Info: Sora/Kairi. Set Post-Canon. Alternating POVs. Established Relationship. Light Angst, Romance, Fluff, Mutual Pining, Hurt/Comfort, Healing, Christmas.
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5
Tumblr media
No matter the time of year, the Mysterious Tower always felt eerie and spooky. The sky was a miasma of multicolored gasses and the grass outside was unnaturally vibrant. It never withered and wasn’t covered in a blanket of snow the way Twilight Town currently was. If Kairi didn’t know today’s date, she would’ve thought it was the middle of summer. This place never changed.
After hitting her pauldron to make her Keyblade armor disappear, she dutifully climbed up the winding spiral staircase of the tower. The halls were empty except for Donald and Goofy, but she knew Master Yen Sid was well aware of her arrival. Time to report to him that her latest mission had been a success.
She found him seated at his desk at the top of the tower as per usual. He was very pleased by her news, but his news for her was not so pleasing.
“Sora isn’t back yet?” She couldn’t help the disappointment in her voice. It was December 23rd already, and she’d rushed back from her mission in the hopes of surprising him and going home together. He was supposed to be finished. Had something happened?
“My apologies, Kairi,” Master Yen Sid said, and to his credit, he did sound sorry. “Something of the utmost importance came up, and I had to send him and Riku on another mission. I don’t expect them back until the day after Christmas.”
“I see.” Well, there was no point waiting around the Mysterious Tower for them then. Donald and Goofy were still here, so she’d ask them to give her a ride home. That seemed less lonely than taking the Lanes Between by herself. And at least she could spend Christmas with her parents if not her boyfriend.
As she walked down the stairs, she pulled out her Gummiphone and sent Sora a quick text.
Hey, sorry you got sent on another mission 🙁
His response was fast. You’re sorry? I should be the one apologizing. Sorry I hadn’t yet, Riku and I just landed a little while ago
Not your fault this happened 😔
What if I told Master Yen Sid no one of these days?
I know you wouldn’t. You have too big of a heart for helping people
There was a long pause, and then the … typing symbol popped up. I know. That’s why we’re in this mess
Hey, don’t you ever apologize for your big heart 😤
Sorry, gotta go. We’ll talk about this more later, I promise
Kairi sighed and slipped her phone into her pocket. Not even their text conversations were safe from interruptions. She found Donald and Goofy and joined them on the Gummi Ship. They were happy to give her a ride home, but now she was wondering if it would’ve been better to be alone with her thoughts.
“Gawrsh, Kairi, I’m sorry Sora ain’t back yet,” Goofy said, eyeing her sympathetically as Donald steered the ship through the stars.
“It’s okay,” she said as she worked on her latest project, a knitted red scarf for Sora. He complained about the cold when he was sent to wintry worlds, and she wanted to give him something that would help. The matching cap was already finished.
“Master Yen Sid is working him to the bone,” Donald muttered. “Sora’s gonna burn out at this rate.”
“Him and Riku both. Gawrsh, they’ve been on a whole lotta missions lately for a feller.”
“How do you guys balance personal time with work?” Kairi asked sadly. Sora was definitely struggling with it, and so was she. Each time they said goodbye was harder than the last. Her gut instinct was that this life just wasn’t sustainable long term. Something would have to change.
Goofy scratched his chin thoughtfully. “Well, it helps a lot that my son Maxie is grown. It was a lot harder when he was just a kid. His mom died when he was pretty young, so there was a lot of me stayin’ at home with him ‘til he was older.”
“I’m sorry for your loss,” Kairi said. No words could ever make up for a loss like that, but she still wanted to express her condolences.
Goofy smiled sadly. “Thank you, Kairi. My wife was a special lady, and I miss her a whole lot. But it doesn’t hurt so bad anymore, and Maxie and I still have each other.”
“I’m glad to hear that. Donald, what about you? How do you manage?”
“Daisy and I have a very clear arrangement,” Donald said.
Goofy put his hands over his mouth, but he couldn’t contain his chuckles. “Only after you missed one too many dates.”
Donald shot Goofy a glare. “When I’m home, we go on dates every day. When I’m gone, I send her letters at least once a week. And it helps that she’s got lots of stuff to do around the castle to help Queen Minnie.”
“I’m glad that works for you,” Kairi said. She and Sora texted each other all the time via Gummiphone and tried to talk on the phone every day. But it just wasn’t the same as being with him.
And now that they were older, she wondered what their future would be. They wanted to get married, but when? And if they had kids, she would be out of commission for at least a year per kid from the pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery alone. That meant she wouldn’t be able to go on any missions during that time. If Sora wasn’t around, she’d be like a sitting duck for any kidnapping attempts in the later stages of any pregnancies, too. And once the kids were born, it wasn’t like she could just dump them on her parents or Sora’s parents and go running off whenever she felt like it. Kids needed their mothers around.
There was no getting around it. Kids meant she’d be giving up her life of adventuring and Keyblade combat and all that entailed for good.
Was she ready for that? Would she ever be? She sure wasn’t right now, but she couldn’t help but worry about the future.
Say she was ready several years from now. A bleak future appeared in her mind, one where she was home alone with the kids, for months and years on end, because Sora had to constantly keep leaving to fight. What kind of life would that be? He’d have to give up everything too if he wanted to be a good dad.
What if he didn’t want that?
“What’s on your mind?” Goofy asked. “I can practically hear the wheels turnin’ from here.”
The knitting needles clacked together as she started a new row. “The future.”
Donald chuckled. “Now that’s a scary topic.”
“You’re thinkin’ about Sora, aren’t you?” Goofy said.
“Yeah. I miss him a lot when we’re separated like this. Especially over the holidays.”
“Well, maybe you can do somethin’ special together when he gets back. I know it doesn’t compare to him bein’ here on Christmas, but it’s the time you spend together that counts.”
“Yeah! This one time I was a day late for Daisy’s birthday. She wasn’t happy with me, but I made up for it with an extra special date.”
“An extra special date, huh?” Kairi set the knitting needles and partially-formed scarf down on her lap. “I could do that.”
The conversation turned to fun date ideas after that, and by the time they dropped her off, she was feeling slightly better. Still, what she wouldn’t give to have Sora home for good, safe and sound.

Some information that could be useful to you! IRL, Walt viewed his characters as characters. He was very serious about getting their personalities right, without contradiction, and if something was out of character he wouldn't let them go through with it.
If you want to write his characters as his children, you might want to refer to how he was to his IRL children, and then write it as if one of his children also happened to be a child star. He was private about his family life because he wanted to keep them out of the press, and he loved his children very much. This might lead to a distinction between Mickey's time on screen as a stage star, and Mickey's home life. Walt would try very hard to keep his kids out of drama, even if he came across as pushy!
By the way, Walt would definitely visit Oswald from time to time. Just because Oswald's working under someone else's contract doesn't mean that he can't see his son.
Well that's how I exactly write them now you don't see the other side of the others being forced through things that they really didn't want to do Donald was the one forced into World War II Goofy his wife didn't want their son Max being on screen so young the Walt still pushed it Mickey's shorts in comparison to the others was actually very little
And wildly enough Donald Duck actually eclipsed Mickey's popularity at one point in time Donald would carry the shorts until 1961 the last original Mickey Mouse short was in 1953
So this would line up with Walt keeping Mickey out of the spotlight more and more as the years went on especially as he adopted him officially in 1950 in my worlds making him Michael Elias Mouse Disney
Walt took him and his daughters to church on Sundays took him back to the hometown Lillian saw him as her son.
Also it wasn't Walt's decision not to see Oswald, Mintz in my world had an immediate restraining order on Walt to keep him away from Oswald,
Walt knew his beloved child was being abused but he never had hard evidence to prove it because he couldn't get close enough. However he always told Mickey about his elder brother Mickey grew up knowing Oswald from afar
That's why in 2007 when the opportunity to strike came he did
You guys haven't been able to see the entire world's I've been developing because I'm still in the middle of developing them I don't produce a fanfic unless I know 100% I can complete it but trust me I have dozens of fanfics in my Google Documents
I know and have developed over the last 8 months my own characterizations I have watched short after short documentary after documentary to the point I can't name specific ones interview after interview
I know a lot this isn't to say I can't learn more however I do know about Sharon and Diane the latter of whom was adopted and one daughter would go on to have seven kids and the other one would have three for a total of 10 grandchildren
I know that Lillian Disney did not like to be in the social life of Hollywood and that Walt was a very private man had a bit of a temper but was a kind soul who loved his family dearly and like you said tried to keep them out of the drama
In fact that's what led Mickey to be a bit naive in 1966 when Walt came down with cancer and everybody thought he was going to make it Walt made a decision to tell Mickey about his inheritance I have a scene I have written and I will even include here that shows you how I handle these two.
From the Fanfic in Progress No Cinderella Tale a Story of Mickey from the Beginnings to the 21st Century
.
Standing up Walt felt pain shoot through making him cough slightly causing the mice to pause and look to him, he put on a smile
“I'm alright you two,” he turned, meeting his creations eyes”Mickey walk with me I need to speak to you scamp,”
The mouse nodded as the other walked towards his office, he coughed lightly,
“Gee Dad, that cough don't seem to be getting any better, I hope you're gonna be okay,” The man felt a pang of pain as he easily lied,
“Doctors say it's getting better and looking up,” The mouse looking somewhat hopeful and it hurt more but if it was keeping the other blind to the cruel truth then he would take it, praying he'd be okay,
“And we can get to working on The Aristocats!” He nodded as they entered his office. He went over to the safe in the wall, answering as his son sat down,
“Of course, but first I need you to take care of something for me,” he pulled out the papers the Deeds to Disney not just the Studio but the parks and everything, it was all there as he walked over, feeling fatigued at just that action, “hold your hands out,”
He watched the mouse do as as asked and he gently sat the papers and wrapped his hands around them and pushing it to his child's chest, before kneeling down meeting the stunned eyes of his most beloved creation, he murmured as he cupped the others face,
“Just in case something happens I want you to know, I am handing everything to you my boy. You are the Son I never had Michael and thus Disney should go to you,” he could see worry seeping into those big brown orbs, as he ran a thumb across the toons cheek before he stood up, stepped back and resumed his stern demeanor,
“But nothings gonna happen, I will give you these back when things get better!” A determined expression crossed Mickeys face and it hurt, Walt knew what the mouse did not know, He was not going to get better
With each passing day the cancer only grew more aggressive his treatments weren't working he would be lucky to see the New Year, instead again he nodded, agreeing
“Yeah, once I get better you can give them back.”
The mouse tucked the papers so carefully into his hammerspace, got up and Walt jolted in surprise as the other embraced him,
“I love you Dad,” he felt choked up as he rested a hand on Mickeys head and murmured back
“I love you too Mick,”

Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix Recap: Atlantica (Under the Sea)
Okay so, it turns out there are also red balloons in Balloon Bounce (they’re the smallest of the bunch), and it’s only your storyline playthrough that has the time limit.
After you progress the storyline, the minigame instead ends after you use up all your “attempts” (one attempt is used up every time you land on the trampoline).
As for the current world, as it turns out, fighting in the Battle of Hollow Bastion raised Sora’s Drive Gauges up to 5, which means Sora’s now skilled enough to perform the song Sebastian wants him to.
Don’t ask me what his Drive Gauge has to do with his singing ability, especially when he can’t use Drive Forms as a Merman.
The challenge for this score is to lift Ariel’s mood.
The mermaid on the gauge indicates how happy Ariel is.
When note prompts appear, only hit the ones with Ariel’s face. You will be penalized for hitting the Sebastian notes, so MISS them to score points.
Push the guard button to hit the notes. Missing a Sebastian note counts as hitting an excellent, but HITTING a Sebastian Note will count as a “Bad” and lower Ariel’s mood. Hitting an Ariel Note will lift her mood. However, be warned that some Sebastian Notes will turn into Ariel Notes, so pay attention.
Just keep the mermaid above the starting point to pass.
Sebastian, Sora, and some sea-snails sing this song. Ariel will join in near the end.
It’s not as good as the version from the movie, but it’s still better than “Swim This Way”.
Gameplay’s still pretty bad, though, as the prompts STILL have nothing to do with the rhythm or the beat. But it’s a memorable gimmick, at least.
After the rehearsal, Sebastian asks what Ariel thinks.
She admits she likes the song, but she’d rather sing a song about land and sea living together in harmony.
“Da Sea King would make chowder outta me if you sang a song like dat!”
Ariel isn’t moved.
“If you won’t listen, then I’m not going to sing at all.”
She swims off.
“A-Ariel!” Sora calls as he swims after her.
“Hmph. How do I get myself into dese situations?” Sebastian grumbles, “Not only has dat girl fallen in love at da worst possible time,” the camera pans out to show King Triton behind him, “but wid a human!”
“Ariel’s in love with a human!?” King Triton exclaims.
Sebastian gasps.
“Oh, me and my big mouth!”
Meanwhile, Ariel’s swam back to the surface again.
Sora and Donald poke their heads out of the water behind her.
“Oh!” Ariel notices Prince Eric walking up on the beach.
“Is that him?” either Sora asks (this cutscene on the surface is text box instead of voice acted).
“Uh-huh,” Ariel confirms.
“Let’s say something!” Donald suggests (Goofy’s also here now).
“No, don’t!” Ariel protests, “He’s a human and I’m a mermaid. I… I don’t know what he’d think.”
Prince Eric walks away, but something shiny falls out of his pocket and into the water.
Ariel asks what it is, and swims up to get a closer look.
The medallion drifts between some rocks, well out of arms reach of Ariel and the Junior Heroes.
You need Magnera to get it.
It took Magnet to unlock “Part of Your World” by attracting a large statue, but you need a more powerful spell to attract a MUCH smaller item.
Sure.
Regardless, that Magnet Spell isn’t going to upgrade itself, so we’re gonna have to go elsewhere.
Let’s go through all those world sin the order we initially visited them in.
I wonder how Mulan is doing…

This is a whole hot mess lmao

Take my KH 3 nonsense dump. I was playing and this is all what came out (no proofreading):
Pete telling Sora that he’s weaker than he was before and how they should just finish him here…oh boy…that’s gotta hurt.
AND THEN HIS SAD SIGH WHEN PETE AND MALEFICENT LEAVE??? YALL??? Sora baby😭
“It’s fine. I can take it.” Oh gosh….Sora it’s alright to not be okay. And then when Goofy asks him if what Pete said bothered him, he said, “It’s fine! I can take it.” He’s insisting it and his voice is louder, which means he’s sort of yelling it. He’s deflecting and not answering the actual question. AND THEN!! When Goofy and Donald said that he’s gonna get stronger, he said, “Dont say that!”
I’m not sure what he meant at this moment, but it’s clear that any mention about his strength being lost and if he’s “okay”, it bothers him and he keeps deflecting.
Then the woman that they saved said, “Keep training and maybe one day you’ll be like Hercules,” or somewhere along those lines. Sora looks at himself and says, “Is it that obvious?” And Donald gives him a little snark. “Just for you.” And Ik Donald doesn’t mean anything by it. He’s literally that concerned father that is protective and so is Goofy. I just think Donald has sass and he likes to do it with Sora and everyone around him! And Sora has his own sass, but I wonder if this actually hurt him? Maybe not as much as before with Pete and Maleficent, but it’s still gotta hurt, right?
Ooh Xigbar showed up and said that hearts are powerful when they’re connected and then, “But if you put too much of that power in one place, some of those hearts might end up breaking.” Hmm…I just keep thinking of Sora. How he has so much hope and power from his friends in his heart, but it’s so much and maybe his own heart will break at some point because he’s protecting others. I love every KH quote-
OR it could be how everyone else’s heart broke when Sora didn’t come back. So much power was put into Sora, but in the end he didn’t come home. So much to think about-
And when Xigbar leaves, Sora, once again looks so sad. It could be a thinking face, but it honestly looks like a puppy look. It looks like he’s truly sad and maybe sad mixed with confused. He did ask “wHoS hearts?” So he is confused, but I think he’s sad bc now he thinks he can’t stop it from happening. Which is something he wants to do! He wants this power to protect others, so hearing that he can’t do it and that maybe him even getting the power will make it happen must be a huge drag. And when Hercules is cheering him up, he looks up at him with that puppy look and takes a moment to put on a smile.
I keep wondering if any of these smiles are true. Like yh I believe Sora does get happy and believes in himself sometimes, but I wonder if some of these smiles are fake-
After the battle of the Titans, Sora says, “I’ll find my strength the same way you found yours.” And like…Hercules found his strength because Meg was in trouble, someone he loved the most. So…will he find his strength in the end of all of this when his precious person is in trouble? When Riku is in trouble? And didn’t he technically do that in the end of KH 3 when he’s chasing Riku’s heart? Because he was like using all of his power, using the power of old keyblade users to save his friends, and was worried for Riku the most. He tried to chase his heart (that was GOLD may I remind you. At least I think it was-) but remembered he had to save his friends. His precious person was in trouble first which led to him getting his strength back???
Or maybe he’ll get it again in the next game. He was lost, so imagine him finding Riku, almost losing him AGAIN, and gaining his strength back one more time to save him and make it home. Ik I’m making no sense but my mind is wandering.
“I remember my first time here. I was so scared.” Riku says. Idk of his first time was when he and Sora shut the door, but if it was then that’s so sad. He said goodbye to his best friend and then felt fear immediately and was so scared for his life AAAAAH. BUT THEN HE SAYS, “But now, my doubts and fears are gone. If anything, I feel exhilarated,” and then some more words about how it isn’t just the darkness in him but something different. And he’s like “Maybe it’s because you’re here with me this time.” And as if Mickey knew everything, he shakes his head and he jumps in with our favorite thing.
“It’s not me. I think it’s because you’ve finally found inside you that special strength to protect what matters. Sometimes you care so much for somebody that other feelings disappear. And then, there’s no room for fear or doubt.” AND LIKE YEAH IT COULD BE FOR AQUA SINCE RIKU WANTS TO SAVE HER BUT LIKE….
There’s no way he cares for her that deeply. He doesn’t even know her (I think). He knows what SHES done and how he needs to save her, but he doesn’t know her. But he knows Sora. He finally understands what he feels towards Sora, even if he is still a little confused, and uses that love to make it through this world. Sora’s belief in him (which was shown in KH 2 ending AND DDD) made him realize his strength and made him love him (as in Sora) even more!! And it made him stronger AAAAAH!!
AND THEN HE SAYS, “The strength to protect what matters. It reminds me of a promise I made.” And like yh it’s to Terra bc Riku makes it obvious but like AH. Imagine if he was referencing the promise he gave to Sora?? The one where he would protect him if any meteors came down??? Idk if that was a fic I read or something that actually happened BUT STILL!! AAAAH-
“But the closer I get, the hazier our connection feels,” is what Mickey said in relation to Aqua and like…hnnnng Sora and Rikuuuu….Sora kept getting closer to Riku in KH 1 and finding him and making him come to his senses, but it only made their connection more strained and hurt and AAAAH-
HE’S BACK AT THE BEACH HE WAS WITH SORAAAA!! AND UH OH HERES THE TORNADO OF HEARTLESS. Also, playing as Riku is so cool lkke yes go my boy. Use that darkness in you with the light and be amazing like you always are meant to be.
LIKE HE MOVES?? IN A BLUR OF PURPLE LIGHT WHEN YOU PRESS SQUARE?? LIKE YES RIKU!!!
And also I love how when you beat the heartless tornado, you still didn’t technically beat it and I find it hilarious. And how they swallowed Riku lol.
“But Aqua… Shes like Sora.” AND RIKU JUST FREAKS OUT LIKE “EXCUSE ME??” BUT ALSO!! When Mickey corrects himself and is like “Strong like Sora!” Riku is relieved to understand and he actually looks happy. He knows how strong Sora is and believes in that strength aAAAAH!!! He really believes Sora can do anything, so he believes Aqua can too.

Headcanons for Bakugou, Todoroki and Shinsou for getting set up on a date with their crush atg Tokyo Disney. Oh man, I'm not even a foodie but I would kill to have the food there. I could imagine Todoroki had never even been before
this is such i sweet request?? 🥺
Characters: Bakugou Katsuki, Todoroki Shouto and Shinsou Hitoshi
Type: Headcanons
Tumblr media
Bakugou Katsuki
Tumblr media
☁️Bakugou had been to Tokyo Disneyland a lot of times when he was younger.
☁️So when he set up by the Bakusquad to go with you, he actually knows where to take you.
☁️He's a little annoyed his friend group set him up without him even knowing, but he would deal with them later.
☁️He totally prepared.
☁️"Okay, first stop Space Mountain!" He grinned, walking towards his favorite attraction.
☁️"Isn't that a rollercoaster?"
☁️"It's not a rollercoaster, it's THE rollercoaster."
☁️The line wasn't that long and both you and Bakugou got in fairly quickly.
☁️The ride was dark, yet incredibly beautiful.
☁️It could be a little scary at times and you found yourself holding to Bakugou's arm for protection.
☁️"That wasn't so bad!" You said once the ride was over and both of you were out.
☁️"I told you, idiot." He said, trying to ignore the fact his crush was still holding onto his arm. "Let's go grab something to eat."
☁️By the end of the meal, you had Minnie ears on (Bakugou refused to wear Mickey's ears) and a stomach full of Baymax shaped food.
☁️The rest of the day went as smoothly as possible, and you didn't even notice that it was getting really dark.
☁️You and Bakugou had just bought some cotton candy and to your surprise, he just sat on the sidewalk and pointed at the spot near his.
☁️"Why are we sitting on the floor? Why is EVERYONE sitting on the floor." You ask.
☁️"Just shut up and wait!" He said.
☁️Suddenly, every street light shut down and some music started playing.
☁️That's when you noticed various lights coming in your direction.
☁️"The nighttime parade..." You whispered. It was something you only saw on the tv, and seeing the gigantic floats so up close almost seemed like a dream.
☁️You were like Rapunzel during the lanterns scene, paying no mind to whatever was happening around you.
☁️And Bakugou was looking at you like nothing else mattered.
☁️And at that moment it didn't.
☁️"I like you." The words came out before he could even stop himself.
☁️His words woke you up from the trance you were in.
☁️You stared deeply into his red eyes, and before he could tell you to forget about what he said, you smiled at him.
☁️"I like you too Bakugou... I really do!"
☁️Both of you watched until the parade was over and walked back to the dorms hand in hand that day.
Tumblr media
Todoroki Shouto
Tumblr media
☁️This poor boy has never been to Disney before.
☁️The whole class (excluding Bakugou) planned to spend the day at Disneyland during the weekend.
☁️But when the day actually came, everyone had the most creative excuses to not come.
☁️So there you in Tokyo Disneyland, with your long time crush, Todoroki Shouto.
☁️You've been to Disneyland once and can still remember some places.
☁️So you decided to give Todoroki the day of his life.
☁️"Okay Todoroki! First, let's get some Minnie and Mickey ears, that's a must when you visit Disneyland." You held him by the hand and dragged him to the nearest store.
☁️You picked some classic Minnie ears with the pink bow, while Todoroki got simple Mickey ears.
☁️"You look so cute Todoroki!" you said. "Should I take a picture?"
☁️Todoroki simply nodded and you smiled brightly, using your phone to take a picture of both of you.
☁️The picture turned out pretty cute and you showed to him.
☁️You felt your heart skip a beat with the gentle smile that spread across his lips.
☁️"H-hey, wanna get some popcorn?" You asked stumbling on your own words.
☁️"Popcorn?" He tilted his head to the side. "But we eat popcorn all the time back at the dorms...?"
☁️"Oh Todoroki, but this is DISNEYLAND, it's not your typical popcorn."
☁️You led Todoroki to the nearest popcorn machine, never letting go of his hand.
☁️His eyes widened at the sight of the popcorn menu. "Y/n, they have curry popcorn!" He said, his excitement reminding you of a little kid.
☁️"Yep!"
☁️Both of you picked your popcorn. He got the curry one, while you settled for the milk chocolate one.
☁️"What are those people waiting in line for?" He asked pointing at the line next to you.
☁️"Ah! That's the line for the Dumbo attraction."
☁️"Like, the elephant dumbo?" His eyes were practically shining.
☁️"Yes?"
☁️"I wanna ride it." He stated.
☁️"Are you sure? It's mostly for kids." Todoroki ignored you and this time, he held your hand a brought you to the line.
☁️"I watched it with my mom when I was younger."
☁️You smiled, looking up at Todoroki. He seemed to be having a good time.
☁️The ride was fun and more enjoyable than you thought.
☁️You spent the rest of the day walking around with Todoroki, eating, and going on rides.
☁️It was already dark when you looked at your watch.
☁️"It's gonna start soon..." You said smiling.
☁️"What?" He asked.
☁️You didn't need to answer, because soon, fireworks were flying in the air.
☁️Todoroki was amazed and couldn't look away from the illuminated sky.
☁️But you couldn't stop staring at him.
☁️"Hey... Y/n." Todoroki called, his eyes still glued to the scenery in front of him. "Thank you, for today." He said, tightening his grip around your hand.
☁️"You're welcome!" You said smiling.
☁️You were going to say something else, but it mustn't have been important since the feeling of Todoroki's lips on yours was enough to make you forget.
Tumblr media
Shinsou Hitoshi
Tumblr media
☁️You didn't know exactly how you found yourself at Disneyland with your friend and crush Shinsou.
☁️You were in the class with the rest of the 1-A, who knew about your crush on Shinsou.
☁️You told them how you never went to Disneyland before, and they just told you to meet them at the park for the weekend.
☁️But when you arrived, you were met with a mop of purple hair instead.
☁️It all made sense when Mina sent a message to the group chat wishing you good luck.
☁️"So, where do you want to begin?" Asked Shinsou, taking you from your thoughts.
☁️"I don't know actually, I've never been here before." You said.
☁️"Never? Well, let's grab something to eat first then." He said, taking your hand in his. "Let's be together okay? It's really easy to get lost here."
☁️"You had a bad experience with that or something?" He teased him
☁️"Yep, my mom left me alone for a while and I decided to run after Donald."
☁️"That sounds pretty traumatizing."
☁️"Yeah, for my mom, I was having the time of my life with Donald and Goofy."
☁️You both laughed as he led you to the Plaza restaurant.
☁️"Wow! There's so much to choose from, I don't even know what some of these things are." You said, scratching your head as you read through the menu.
☁️"Want me to choose for you?" He asked, and you nodded excitedly back.
☁️"Two teriyaki fried chicken sandwiches, please." He said. "And two mango boba drinks." The waiter smiled and wrote down everything.
☁️When the food arrived, you couldn't believe how beautiful it was.
☁️The sandwich was shaped like Mickey's gloves and even the tapioca pearls from the drinks were Mickey-shaped.
☁️You had to snap a picture of your lunch, and sneakingly capture Shinsou as well.
☁️You smiled down at the picture and started eating your delicious sandwich.
☁️Once both of you were done, it was time for the rides.
☁️You decided to ride in every existing rollercoaster, and by the time the sun was setting, you were getting dizzy.
☁️"We have time for one last attraction before going home."
☁️You pouted a little, sad that such a day was ending.
☁️"Don't pout, I'll bring you back whenever you want." He said, flicking your nose, before leading you to the last attraction of the day. "The Western River Railroad."
☁️You boarded the train with Shinsou and waited patiently for the ride to start.
☁️The ride was peaceful, unlike the others. And it was incredibly beautiful.
☁️You sighed as the trains passed along the river. The mix of orange, dark blue, and pink that painted the sky took your breath away.
☁️You felt Shinsou's hand sneaking into yours, and you looked at him, smiling and intertwining your fingers.
☁️"I like you, Shinsou." You said, staring into his purple eyes.
☁️"I know." He simply said, getting closer to you. "I like you too." He closed the space between you both.

Lo-fi
Jesse Swanson (10:24am)
Yo, so we met up with some of the guys from class, they’re chill dudes
Chloe Beale (10:33am)
Hey we’re waiting on you Bec :)
Beca’s eyes adjusted to the brightness of the phone screen as she stared down at the messages. She was confused for a total of 15 seconds before it registered with her that she said she’d hang out with her friends. Her gaze then fell onto the time.
11:00am
Well shit.
“Hey, sorry I was late-” Beca groggily stated 15 minutes later as she stumbled her way into the local café. Her eyes landed on the group of friends tucked away to the side of the room, each staring at her in amusement.
“She’s alive!” Jesse cheered with a goofy grin, taking a sip of his coffee.
“Haha...” Beca said, falling into the empty seat opposite him. Beside him were two of the guys she knew from class, Benji and Donald, and to the left, was Chloe.
“Hi Bec,” Chloe greeted with a smile from beside her.
“Hey Chloe.” The brunette replied, rubbing her eyes in hopes of wakening up. God, she was so tired.
“Late night?”
“Huh?” Beca glanced to her. “Oh... yeah, was working on something.”
“Here,” Jesse’s voice chimed in, making her look to him. He held out a coffee cup, “Thank me later.”
Beca gave him a thumbs up as she took hold of the drink. The girl stared at her coffee cup, breathing in the scent in hopes that it would wake her up somewhat. Taking a sip she relished in the warm liquid that soothed down her throat.
She thought back to the track that she was working on last night. The sounds just weren’t working, and it was bothering her big time. Because if she can’t work on a simple track how the fuck was she going to make it in the industry?
It’s bullshit, she thought. Creative block that is. It’s the cock block of her music. And if she could, she’d whack the shit out of it. But unfortunately, she cannot so she’ll settle for angrily tapping at her laptop mouse pad instead.
Taking another sip of her coffee, her mind wandered to the cliché café music that was playing. Some lofi kind of beat, the kind you’d hear on YouTube to study to. Maybe I could make something like that? She thought, tapping her foot the beat. It was simple enough. You add some electronic piano in and a groovy bassline and you’re good to go. Feels like a cop out though.
Taking out her phone, she noticed a message from her Dad.
Dad (11:25am)
I’ve been called into work, money is at home for dinner. Call me if you need anything
Beca (11:30am)
ok, thanks
Feeling a yawn come on, she tried to hold it in, but to no avail a loud yawn escaped her. The kind that makes you look like you’ve been crying by the tears that has showed up.
“Wakey, wakey!” She heard Jesse say, in a far too annoying tone. He ruffled her hair.
“I hate you,” she grimaced.
“So…?” He raised his eyebrows.
“So, what?”
“Are you up for it?” He continued.
“Up for what?” She took a large sip.
“You weren’t listening, were you….” Jesse stated more than questioned. He rolled his eyes before standing up, “One of you mofos fill in sleepy head over here. I’m gonna get some of that sweet, sweet cake they’re serving.”
They watched as he practically skipped towards the counter. If she were at least 80% awake right now she would have chuckled along with the others. But boy she felt dead.
She began to zone out again until she heard the horrid two words of bowling and movies.
“Wait wha-“
“We’re going bowling soon,” Benji explained, looking rather excited. What a dork. “And then we’re gonna go see that new horror film that came out.”
Beca paused for a second.
“I don’t remember signing up for any of this.” She deadpanned. The redhead beside her let out a little giggle.
“Oh come onnnnn,” Chloe teased, nudging her shoulder slightly. “It’ll be fun.”
“But I’m tired…” The brunette complained with a huff. “How about this, you guys go do that. And I’ll finish my coffee and head back to bed.” She nodded. “Deal?”
“No, no and no,” Popped up Jesse who sat back down, hearing the last part of the conversation.
“I hate you.” Beca repeated from earlier. Yawing once more, jesus Christ at this point, she unintentionally felt her head droop onto Chloe’s shoulder. Leaning it there, she felt herself almost drift off. “This is comfy.” God she was tired.
Seeing the girls exhausted state, the redhead raised her eyebrows.
“Maybe this one is a bit too tired for that today.” She piped up, looking to the boys.
“Nah, poke her with a stick and she’ll wake up,” Jesse chimed in, taking a bite of cake. Donald leant over to steal a bit, much to Jesse’s dismay, ‘go buy yourself some you dick.’
Chuckling Donald, chewed on it, “If the stick doesn’t work, we can throw a bucket of water over her.” He added.
“As amusing as that would be,” Chloe said, nudging Beca off her shoulder, “I think this one should head back home.” Standing she pulled the girl up from the chair. “Come on sleepy.” She hooked her arm through Beca’s.
Making their way to the door, she laughed as the boys mocked crying as they exited.
---
As Chloe was walking alongside the brunette, she realized something. This was the first time it was just them together. Usually, they would be with Jesse.
Her heart started pounding suddenly with slight nerves.
I mean… She had been crushing on the girl for the longest time.
Safe to say Chloe was a nervous wreck incase Beca found out somehow.
But what the redhead didn’t know is that Beca felt the exact same way about her. Fortunately for the brunette though, she was too tired to even think straight, so she groggily stumbled her way up the steps to her house.
Fetching out her keys, she put them in the door before glancing to Chloe who stood staring at the ground. She stepped back and forth anxiously.
“You’re more than welcome to make yourself at home,” Beca said, stepping in through the door. “My dad wont be back until this evening.” She added.
“Are you sure?” Chloe cautiously tip toed into the house. She’d been here before, but never alone, always with Jesse or someone else.
“Yeah of course,” Beca said making her way to the kitchen, Chloe following. “If you want we can put on a movie?”
“I thought you didn’t want to watch any,” Chloe bemusedly piped, accepting the juice pouch from Beca.
“I don’t,” The brunette replied, “But…” She drawled, “You were kind enough to bring my lazy ass back here.”
They both made their way into the living room, Beca half assed pulled up Netflix, before giving the remote to Chloe.
She tried to hold in a yawn but one escaped her.
They settled down onto the sofa, with Chloe starting up some cliché comedy movie. They chatted endlessly for about 10 minutes before going silent and watching the film.
Around 20 minutes, Chloe shifted in her seat as she heard heavy breathing. She glanced over to find Beca passed out, head laying against the back of the cushions.
Chuckling slightly, the redhead shook her head before glancing around for a blanket. Fortunately, one was on the sofa so she threw it around the both of them.
It wasn’t long before she felt herself drift off too, movie long forgotten about.
---
Beca woke up around an hour later with a weight on her shoulder. She quickly came to realize that is no other than Chloe Beale.
Chloe fucking Beale.
Her crush since middle school.
Was laying on her shoulder.
Beca remembered that the girl brought her lazy ass home because she was out of it.
Eyes darting around the room, she debated on what her next move would be. She didn’t want to wake up the redhead. Who, by the way, looked adorable when asleep.
Netflix was playing random movie trailers much to her dismay. She noticed the remote beside her so she switched the TV off.
She stiffened as she felt movement from the girl beside her.
“Mhmm… hi….” Chloe grogged out, voice full of sleep.
“Hey,” Beca replied in a soft tone. “I think we passed out.”
Lazily nodding, Chloe yawned, her head still laying comfortably on the brunette’s shoulder. “Yeah, I guess so.”
Hearing her phone go off, Beca reached for it. She had a few snapchat notifications from the boys. She opened Jesse’s. It was a video of them playing bowling and him getting a strike. ‘And that’s how you do it boys!’ he said in a sassy tone.
Benji had sent a snap of him and Donald with a weird filter. And Donald sent a random video of him zooming in on the bowling ball.
She felt Chloe giggle as she watched the snaps. “They’re such dorks,” She said, snuggling a little further into Beca’s shoulder.
God she’s so cute.
“Are you okay?”
“Hmm?” Beca’s eyebrows furrowed.
“Your heart,” Chloe said, “It’s beating really fast…”
“Ahhh…” Awkwardly running a hand through her hair, Beca glanced to the ceiling, “Uhhh… You know…”
“Uh hmm,” Chloe giggled.
Smirking Beca tipped her head to look at the girl, “What are you giggling at?”
“You,” is all the redhead replied with before using her sleepiness as an excuse to continue snuggling.

Together
https://archiveofourown.org/works/33196183
Kairi creeps into the Hall of the Cornerstone and ends up seeing a memory of Minnie's--and perhaps gets more than she bargained for, as her own emotions and regrets come to the surface--and with it a friendship that will carry her through any trial.
For @mademoiseli Happy late birthday, sweetie!
Kairi sat down on the steps that led out of the Hall of the Cornerstone, wondering if she should go down there or not
She wanted to be a bad girl for once—as a sort of fun, perhaps, as her world had so recently fallen down—and go there against her better judgement … and some of the other Guardians of Lights’ judgement as well, if she was being honest.
Because now that they all knew that strong lights could be used to house darknesses without being corrupted—and strong lights and darknesses might call to each other like moths to a flame—there was even the chance, that a strong light like the Cornerstone of Light could resonate with Kairi too strongly. What if it tried to pull her into it, or she pulled it into herself?
These were the reasons that the Guardians had thought it a good idea that Kairi stay away from the light that kept Disney Castle safe from harm.
…But curiosity had killed the cat, and Kairi found that was very much her case when she found herself wandering down into the basement, anyway, just to get a look.
Though what ended up drawing her attention was not the Cornerstone of Light. Rather, it was this almost liquid—thought not quite—with wisps going into it, on a nearby table that had recently been erected, if its drying silver paint was anything to go by.
Kairi grew closer to it, peering into the water, where she curiously saw what looked like Lady Daisy, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Chip, Dale, someone who looked as though they were related to Goofy, and Aqua watching as Queen Minnie gave Pete an earful!
Kairi had no idea how this scene was playing out before her, without sound, but she definitely wanted to find out! So, she walked even closer to it, but ended up tripping, with her face falling face first into the water… and there, she could see this memory—perhaps that’s what it was—in all its glory.
“…Pete, we counted the votes very carefully. Ventus, Aqua, and Terra won. Oh, Pete. I think you tried to do something good, but you were doing it for the wrong reasons, and you went about it the wrong way. Still, a couple of citizens must have thought you had goodness in you, because you actually got a few votes. They knew you were looking out for them.”
Kairi didn’t know what was going on exactly, but maybe she could make some guesses based off of the Queen’s words? But Pete seemed to be boiling with anger, as he often was, and Queen Minnie seemed to be very sweet in dealing with him now and trying to reassure him that the people still cared about him, Kairi saw.
And though this was surely a memory of the past, the Princess of Heart almost wanted to believe that the other light wielder could get through to him. And that maybe things could be different for them all, going forward, if she could…
But then it all took a turn for the worst, as Pete turned towards Queen Minnie angrily.
“Big whoop! I don’t need their lousy votes! Just cough up my prize!”
And then he extended a hand towards Queen Minnie. And Kairi didn’t know if he’d meant to harm her or steal the prize, but she felt her heart go out for the small queen all the same, and her plight here.
And Kairi wanted to believe she would have had such strength and heart in the situation, without her own king.
“Pete!” Queen Minnie exclaimed. “They voted for you because they believe in you and care about you. How could you look down on that? I’ve tried to forgive a lot of things you’ve done, but this is too much. Now you’ve finally crossed the line.”
“Like that matters to me,” Pete shot back rather expertly, not seeming to care how he’d hurt Queen Minnie in the slightest with his line. And it pained Kairi to see.” Besides, what are you going to do about it?” he challenged.
“Ha! I’m gonna let you cool off for a while. Guards!” And at that point, some of the magic brooms showed up and carried Pete off, while Queen Minnie frowned at him, heartbroken, the whole time.
Kairi wondered if this was when he was banished to another dimension—another world—for all he’d done, like Sora had told her about before. She wouldn’t have been surprised.
And with that last sad image of the Queen being the last thing Kairi saw, the memory must have been over, and Kairi was pulled out of it, gasping. And she was surprised to see none other than Queen Minnie herself was watching her now!
“Quite an ordeal, wasn’t it young Kairi?” she asked. And somehow, she seemed to look at Kairi with sadness for Pete, she guessed. But not for Kairi. And no disappointment, either. It was as if she was okay with Kairi spying on her memories. Even though she’d had no right to do it at all.
“Your majesty,” Kairi stammered, dropping to a bow right away, and trying to find her graces, and the girl who might have once belittled Sora and Riku for getting into a situation, because her past self never would have… how sad it was that her present self would. “I’m so, so sorry. I had no right at all to do any of this. Especially since you’re being so kind as to let us look all over your world for Sora right now… I’ll go now.”
Queen Minnie laughed. And it was a pretty sound… and an encouraging one, that had Kairi stopping from going back up the steps that led to the audience chamber, and rather turn around to face the woman. “I acted quite like the Queen there… but part of me regrets it, you know? Because surely Pete had done worse things than that. Why was it him not appreciating people believing in him, that was the final straw for me? Was it that I was just too angry that day?”
“I think my subconscious mind, though not my conscious one, partly wondered about that when I saw your memory just now, too,” Kairi admitted, offering Queen Minnie a small smile, in seeing that they thought very much the same.
“N-not that you were too angry!”, she quickly explained, realizing her words could be misconstrued. “But what it was about that day in particular… And sometimes I wonder about my own anger. Like why I was so livid at Organization XIII. Maybe if I hadn’t been, I wouldn’t have been part of the Keyblade War and Sora would still be here…”
And God help her, Kairi was crying now. Something she definitely didn’t want to do in front of this Queen at all.
But Queen Minnie was merciful and kind, and motioned for Kairi to lean down, so she could wipe her tear away. “You mustn’t blame yourself for that, Kairi, dear. As I understand it, if you hadn’t been there, Sora would have died, and that awful prophecy about light expiring would have come true. So, it was a good thing you were there!
“And goodness me, you don’t have to be so formal with me. I’d like to think we’re all friends here. Call me Minnie!
“But it- it’s hard, isn’t it? I think we who strive closer to the light, often doubt ourselves when we get away from it. But I think those reasons happen for a reason, too. Like with Pete: when you can’t see the goodness of people recognizing you, I feel you can no longer see anything. And you can too easily become caught in the darkness then… and I think that’s why I did what I did with Pete … Do you understand, Kairi?”
“Yes, I think I do!” Kairi beamed, pulling the mouse Queen into a hug. And she didn’t know if this was right or dignified or whatever, but since Queen Minnie said that they could be friends, she decided to just go for it.
And when Queen Minnie hugged her back like it was the simplest thing in the world—magic and healing seeming to fill up Kairi’s heart as she did—she wondered if this was the start of something here.
“Thank you so much for comforting me today… Minnie. I don’t know what I would have done without you. And thank you for not caring that I accidentally spied on your memory!”
The two women started out of the audience chamber now, and would begin a journey through the hall and back to the library, much like the one Queen Minnie had taken with Sora before—feeding off each other’s light as they did so—and it would end up being a key to them finding Sora.
Queen Minnie held Kairi’s hand in hers, like Donald and Goofy had Sora’s multiple times, and Mickey had Riku’s, that many times, as well. “Hehe. Of course, my dear. And know that we’ll find Sora together.”
“Together.”
Author’s Note: Yes, it was a pensieve Kairi used. And my explanation for one being here, is that Disney apparently almost made the first Harry Potter movie. This is mentioned in the “A Conversation Between Daniel Radcliffe and J.K. Rowling” video on the Deathly Hallows DVD.
Written for you, Mademoiseli! I hope you enjoyed!

My Everything - Part Ten
A Take it Slow Sequel
What happens with Harry and Y/N after he proposes? How will the two navigate the engaged life while also continuing to juggle their jobs, friends, and families? Let’s find out.
Warnings: Fluff and Smut! 6K
Masterpost
You and Harry let Buster sleep in the bed with you that night since you’d be away from him for so long. Niall drove you both to the airport the next morning. You were beyond excited for this trip. You and Harry were pros at flying together at this point. He knew to keep an arm around you while you slept, and he’d keep his head rested on yours.
When you get off the plane you each head into the bathroom to change into some lighter clothes. You brought a light green pair of shorts and a white tank top to wear, and Harry changed into a pair of light blue shorts with a black t-shirt. You both looked very ready for Florida.
“I can’t wait for you to bust out your real Florida clothes.” You giggle. “You know the ones that make you look like a grandpa in Miami?”
“Oh baby, I brought all that shit.” He winks. He reaches into his carry on and hands you your fast pass band. “We need ‘em when we get in line for the buses.”
You both navigate through the Orlando airport, and wait for the bus to your resort. You get on and about halfway through the ride you go into the Disney app to see if your room is ready.
“Oh look! Floor four, room 3000.” You show Harry your phone. “But our luggage most likely won’t be there until later tonight.”
“S’alright, we can at least stick our backpacks in the room for now.”
You hum your response. The two of you were in awe of the resort. You were able to use your wristbands to unlock the door, you didn’t even need to go to the desk in the lobby to check in. There was a note on the little table in the room.
“Listen to this!” You exclaim, and he turns to look at you. “Congratulations on your recent partnership, we thank you for wanting to celebrate your honeymoon with us. Let us know how we can make this experience even more magical for you.”
“That’s cute.” He pouts.
The two of you walk the grounds of the resort just to get familiar with where the pool and restaurants are.
“Alright, so we’re doin’ EPCOT this afternoon?” He asks.
“Mhm, look that’s where all the shuttles come.”
It takes a few minutes to actually get into the park, but once you do you couldn’t be more thrilled. They give you and Harry buttons that say “Just Married” on them for you to wear. You use your Fast Pass to go on Spaceship Earth first. You were mostly excited to get to the World’s Fair so you could eat a ton of the different food.
You and Harry have a lot of fun in Mexico, and go on the Donald Duck ride. You take lots of selfies as you go around from country to country. You ended up eating at a French restaurant that night and it was delicious. You both stayed in the park to see the fireworks and it was beautiful. Harry had his arms wrapped around you, chin resting on your head.
By the time you got back to your room, you were pooped. You both do your nightly routine and climb into bed.
“Oh my god, this is beyond comfortable.” You say.
“What’s on the itinerary tomorrow, sweetheart?”
“We are spending the day at Magic Kingdom. Our first Fast Pass is at Space Mountain. Once we use all three we can add more. Our reservation is at like 9AM, so we’ll have time for breakfast here.”
“It’s gonna be really sunny tomorrow, we’ll need sunscreen and all that.”
“We can also take a break in the afternoon if we feel like coming back for a swim before going back in for dinner. We’re eating in Disney Springs tomorrow.”
“Great first day, hm?”
“It was perfect.” You kiss goodnight and slowly drift off after getting comfortable.
//
“Are you sure you’re okay with goin’ on this ride? You hate roller coasters.” Harry says to you as you’re in line for Space Mountain.
“I think I’ll be okay. Oh shit…we can’t sit together?”
“It’s a single rider, you wanna go behind me?”
“Yeah.”
Harry couldn’t help but laugh during the ride when he heard you scream and then start to laugh like you always did.
“I did pretty well.”
“You did, I’m very proud of you.” He kisses your hairline. “What’s next?”
“We are meeting Princess Ariel.” You beam. “She’s my favorite.”
“Sounds good to me. Gives us a chance to really walk through the park.”
There was even more wonderful food to snack on at Magic Kingdom. You both were just having an amazing time. The weather was beautiful and you had no cares in the world. Over the next few days you did everything in the Disney book. You had dinner in Belle’s Castle, you screamed your head off on the Tower of Terror, and opted to let Harry go on the Rockin’ Roller Coaster alone. You took a ton of pictures, especially in front of Cinderella’s Castle. You also tried every Dole Whip you could find in each park. The only thing was that most nights by the time you’d finally get back to your room, you both would be too tired to be intimate. And then in the morning, you’d have to get up, eat breakfast and get to the park. It was an amazing four days, but you were excited to head to Fort Meyers.
//
Harry rented a car for the two of you, and to the West Coast you went.
“God, that was so much fun, I already wanna plan our next trip.” You laugh. “I think Sarah had the right idea about a group trip.”
“Oh, definitely. We could all stay on resort, drink around the world, it would be great.”
“Maybe in a few years, yeah? It took so long to save up and pay off.”
“I agree, this is something you do once in a while. Thanks for takin’ care of most of the plannin’ for it.” He rubs your thigh. “Wait until you see the place we’re headed, you’ll love it.”
“I’m very excited.” You check your phone. “I was hoping Mariah would have sent us some photos…”
“She said she wants it all to be a big surprise. She’s working on making us a book and all that. Just be patient, baby. Then we can take our time goin’ through all of it.”
“You’re right. Plus, now we can go through all the pictures we just took. The one of you and Goofy has got to be my favorite.”
“I liked the ones you took with Woody and Bo Peep, that was hilarious.”
“Should we stop off at a grocery store before going to the house just to get what we need for the next few days?”
“Good idea, I don’t see us leavin’ too much.” He smirks.
“You know…and I don’t want this to kill the vibe at all…but the day we come back our flight is in the late afternoon, and we’re only an hour from Nannie. I was wondering if maybe she could come have breakfast with us?”
“On the last morning? Sure.” He shrugs. “She won’t mind takin’ the drive?”
“Nah, plus, she’d bring a friend with her. Thanks, I just feel guilty being in Florida and not seeing her, even though we just saw her.”
“No, I get it. I’d wanna spend time with her too.” He smiles. “She was so cute when she danced with me at the wedding.”
“She couldn’t wait to get her hands on you.” You laugh and put your hand over his. “Neither can I. Oh! Seth just texted a picture of Buster, our little baby boy.” You pout and show Harry quick. You can’t help but start laughing.
“What?”
“Nothing, I just…sometimes I think back, and like, did you ever think Seth would be one of your best friends?”
“No.” Harry laughs. “He really is a great guy, I’m glad he’s in my life.”
“I think he wants to marry Isaac, they could be next out of all our friends.”
“I wanna know what the fuckin’ hold up with Niall and Sarah is. I feel like something’s comin’ soon with them, but I can’t put my finger on it.”
“Sarah’s looking at new schools to work at…she, uh, really wants to get in at a prep school. They may start looking at houses soon.”
“Yeah, Niall mentioned something about that. He really likes living in the city, it would suck to commute like that.”
“I know.” You sigh. “They have a lot to consider. At least Rach and Mariah seem to be staying in the city for a bit longer.”
“I think Mariah wants to have a baby soon too.”
“Oh really?!” You squeal.
“Yeah, she’s mentioned it a couple of times. They haven’t talked about it much, but she wants to be the one to get pregnant and carry it if they do.” Harry chuckles. “Isaac even offered up his sperm.”
“Aw, what a sweetie.” You giggle.
You and Harry go grocery shopping quickly before getting to the house he rented.
“Oh my god.” You gasp as he pulls up.
“The boat’s already at the dock out back too. Got my license online and everything. We’ll be able to go out and enjoy a few rides.”
“Oh, I can’t wait, babe.” You get everything into the house and go outside. “Wow, this is really private.”
“Mhm, we can screw out here and no one would know.”
“Oh, stop it.” You swat a hand at him. You walk down further and feel the sand between your toes. “I can’t wait to swim. The boat is perfect too, honey, well done.”
“Wanna explore the inside?”
“Definitely.”
You both go back in. It was a simple ranch style home, but it was beautiful. The master bedroom was ginormous and it had a giant en suite. The kitchen was open concept and flowed naturally into a living and eating area. There was a nice patio out back as well.
“It’s perfect, Harry. Thank you.” You wrap your arms around his neck. “So…I spoke with Dr. Mara a few weeks ago, and I didn’t say anything to you, but I switched medications.”
“You did?” He steps back from you. “Seems like an odd thing not to tell me, Y/N.”
“I know, we just had a lot going on. I…wanted to be able to have alcohol for this part of our honeymoon. It was really hard not to get anything in Disney, especially while you were trying a bunch of stuff, but I was afraid of going overboard too soon. I want us to be able to be romantic and have wine and just really enjoy this part of things. Anyways, the new medication I’m on allows me to have alcohol in small amounts.”
“So that’s why you were so adamant about getting wine at the store.” He says in understanding.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I wanted to see how my mood changed and all that.”
“I literally didn’t notice a difference.”
“I know! So it’s doing its job.”
You both were feeling a bit nervous since you wanted this all to be special.
“Okay, what do you say we put our suits on, and head to the boat. We can bring some of the snacks we just bought and just have some fun on the water.”
“I think that’s a great idea.” You smile.
You put on a cute light blue two piece, and Harry had his yellow trunks. You pack up some snacks and water. You both lather each other with sunscreen, and go down to the boat. Harry uses a map so he knows where he can go. There was a sandbar that the owners of the house told him about.
“There! Where the other boats are parked.” You point out to him. “How do you even know how to do drive this thing?”
“I’ve driven a boat before.” He scoffs. “Have you met me? I’m good at everything anyways.”
You roll your eyes and nudge him. He parks the boat and throws the anchor. You open the bag of baby carrots and pop a couple into your mouth.
“Should we swim? It’s fuckin’ hot out.”
“You’re just full of great ideas today.”
You both get in the water and swim around. You splash and giggle and just have a great time. You both sit out and get some sun as well. Eventually, you go back to the house and Harry grills some veggie burgers for the two of you. As the sun sets, you both change into some warmer clothes, and he gets a fire started in the pit. He grabs some sticks and you get some marshmallows.
“What do you say, want some wine?” You ask.
“Mhm, if you do.”
“I do…I should probably stick to one glass so I don’t get fucked up.” You laugh.
You sit together outside and roast your marshmallows. You clink your glasses and enjoy the sweet red wine.
“Mm, I forgot how good wine tasted.” You giggle.
Harry’s arm was around you. He set his glass on the ground, and tilts your chin up to look at him. He presses his lips to yours and swipes his tongue along your bottom lip. He pulls away and smiles.
“I agree, very sweet.” He leans back and kisses you again. “Is it helpin’ yeh relax at all? I don’t want you to feel pressured.”
“It’s helping, yeah. I know there’s no pressure, I’ll either come back pregnant or I won’t. It could stake a few tries, and that’s fine. This is all just so romantic, I want it so badly.”
“Me too, and when it’s meant to it will.” He assures you.
You both finish your glasses, and it definitely hit you. Your tolerance had gotten really low. You both clean everything up and head inside.
“That was a nice fire.” You wrap your arms around his neck and his go around your waist.
“Yeah?”
“Mhm.” You get on your tip toes and kiss him.
He walks you into the bedroom and you both fall onto the bed. He gets you far back so your head can rest on the soft pillows.
“You looked so sexy in your swim suit today.” He kisses on your neck and you giggle. “I wanted to take it off with my teeth.”
“Aw, why didn’t you?” You pout. “Tomorrow I’ll put it on just so you can take it off that exact way.” He grinds his hips down against yours and you groan. “Knew you’d like that.”
“I’d love it.” He growls as his hands slide up under your shirt. Your hips buck up towards his. “Tell me what you want, angel.” His eyes were locked on yours now.
“I want to make a baby with you.” You say just above a whisper.
“Fuck.” He says under his breath.
He lifts your shirt off you and practically rips your bra away. He pulls his own shirt off and attaches his lips to your right nipple. Your hand tugs at his hair as he sucks on you. His other hand kneads your left breast. He moves to start kissing down your body, sucking wherever he pleases, leaving behind all of the marks he wants. Your body felt hot all over with every touch he left behind. He tugs your shorts and underwear off, and he licks his lips as you open your legs for him.
“We’re gonna take our time, okay? We have nowhere to be, so we’re in no rush.” He says, planting kissing on your inner thigh.
“Okay. I want this to be really good for both of us, it’s not just about me.”
“Tonight it is, but we have three more nights here after tonight, don’t you worry.”
You gasp when you feel his tongue lick through your folds and up to your clit. He does this a few times just enjoying the way you taste. His hands spread you further apart as he swirls his tongue around your clit. Your hands grip at the roots of his curls. He works two fingers inside you slowly, and it makes your head spin. He was really feeling around, he knew the territory well, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t still occasionally explore. Plus, he knew you liked the way his fingers would stretch you out.
He nibbles and sucks on your clit as his fingers curl up against that spongey spot. You grind against him and let out soft whimpers. He was giving you exactly what you needed. He knew you were under a lot of pressure. Erica had been trying to get pregnant ever since her wedding, and she had a lot of trouble. She was only three and a half years older than you, and you weren’t sure if you’d run into the same issues.
“Oh fuck, oh my god, shit.” You were panting as his fingers picked up the pace. “Harry, oh my god!” Your head rolls back further into the pillow as you release onto his fingers. He retracts them slowly and sucks them into his mouth. “Get your pants off, now.”
He smirks and gets the rest of his clothes off. He hovers over you as you grip him in your hand. You drag his tip against your clit and folds, almost teasing yourself.
“God, I can’t wait to really feel you again, it’s been way too long.”
“I can’t wait to feel your come inside me again.” You line him up with you and he slowly starts to push in.
You both moan out once he’s all the way in. You clench around him, never wanting him to leave.
“If you do that m’not gonna be able to last long.”
“I’m sorry, you just feel incredible already.”
He smooths your hair away from your forehead and kisses it. He kisses your nose next, and then slots his mouth over yours as he rocks in and out of you. You wrap your legs around his waist and drag your nails down his back as his tongue molds to yours.
You were both sweating even with the A.C. on. It was pooling between your stomachs, but neither of you cared. You both were so caught up in just feeling good. He hooks an arm under one of your legs and drive in a little deeper. It hits just the right spot, and your nails sink into his ass.
“Right there, Harry, fuck.”
He sponges kisses to your neck and bites down on you. You lose it at that and he feels you come around his cock. He drops your leg and pulls out. He grabs your hips and flips you over. He spreads you apart with his thumbs and slides back in. One of his hands grips the back of your neck while the other presses into your hip. You loved this part. Sometimes harry would start out so sweet, make sure you came a couple of times, and then he’d get a little rough.
“How’s this?” He grunts.
“So good, so fucking good, rail me babe.”
He thrusts in and out of you faster and faster, but then he slows down. He pulls out of you again and flips you back on your back.
“What’s wrong?” You out.
“Nothing.” He slides back in. “I just wanna be able to see your face, that’s all.”
You smile at each other as he thrusts in and out of you again. His tip brushes against your g-spot so you grip onto his biceps to relieve some of the pressure building. You groan when you feel his muscles flex.
“Harry, please, I want you to come.”
“You do?” He grunts.
“Yes, please, I want us to come at the same time.”
He strokes your cheek and leans down to give you a kiss as his movements get sloppier. You can’t hold on much longer, but it doesn’t matter because the second you feel his warm come paint your walls, you release again. He moans your name as he continues to fill you up. You clench around him while he slowly pulls out so you don’t lose a single drop.
“You might wanna sit with your legs up for a few minutes, angel.”
You clamp your thighs together the second he’s out. He helps you shift and turn around so you can rest your legs up against the headboard. He sits next to you and looks down at your flushed face.
“How long do you think I should stay like this?” You giggle.
“Don’t know.” He shrugs. “Five minutes maybe?” You reach your hand out and rest it on his thigh.
“That was really nice. I feel like we haven’t been close like that in a long time.”
“I know.” He rests his hand on yours. “Things got really hectic, huh?”
“Mhm.”
You both slept really well that night. The next morning, Harry fucked you in the shower, and then again while you were trying to make breakfast. You had promised him he could take your swim suit off with his teeth, after all. You both enjoyed the sun and sand on your little private beach.
“I’m gonna dip my feet in the water.” You tell him and he hums his response, not looking up from his book.
Harry stretches and sets his book down. He tips his sunglasses down his nose to properly watch you strut down to the water. As you walk back you notice him looking at you. He makes a “come here” motion with his index finger. You giggle and go over to him, straddling him in the long beach chair.
“You’re hard.” You say into his neck.
“Mhm, can’t help it. My wife is just so sexy.” He grips your hips tightly.
“I could say the same about my husband.”
He reaches between the two of you and moves your bathing suit bottom to the side to rub your slit. His fingers easily slip inside you and you bite down on his neck.
“Can I fuck you our here?” He grumbles as his fingers work your insides.
“Yes.” You breathe.
Your hands roam down his stomach to the top of his swim suit. You pull out his hard cock and line it up with your center. He takes his fingers out of you so you can slip him in. It was the middle day, you two were out in broad daylight, and you were fucking in the open air. Normally you wouldn’t do something like this, but you really did have a lot of privacy.
He rocks you up and down on his cock. You prayed the chair underneath you wouldn’t break. He gets a little frustrated, so he picks you up and lays you on the towel you had laid out between your chairs. You giggle as he puts your legs over his shoulders.
“Tell me this isn’t more comfortable?”
“It is, you’re just cute.”
“Can’t get enough of yeh.”
He sucks on your neck in multiple spots, really making a mess of you. Your bathing suit top loosens from the way your breasts are bouncing up and down and he nearly comes at the sight. He grabs the front of it and rips it away. He dips his head down as he drops your legs to suck one of your nipples into his mouth. You rub your clit as he does all of this and you start moaning out a little louder. He loved when you both would work together like this. He comes inside you just as you release.
After Harry goes inside to grab some waters, he sees you still laying on your back, spraying some sunscreen on your chest.
“What are you doin’?” He chuckles, handing you a water.
“When do I ever get the chance to just openly tan my entire chest? I’m taking advantage of the privacy.”
That night for dinner, you pack up some sandwiches, and harry takes you for a boat ride. You end up giving him a much deserved blow job. The rest of your trip was just sort of like this. The two of you making love any time you felt like it. There was one day you didn’t even really leave the bedroom, you could barely walk by the time you needed to meet your Nannie for breakfast before you caught your plane home. Needless to say, Harry wore you out in hopes of getting you pregnant, and you didn’t mind one bit.
//
Isaac and Seth had dropped Buster off before you got home so he’d be there waiting for you. You drop to your knees and let him lick your face when you see him.
“My baby! Mummy missed you soooo much!” Harry joins you on the floor with him and hugs him. “Daddy did too.”
“Should we, uh, buy some tests tomorrow?” He asks, petting his boy.
“Yeah, we could. I don’t know how soon you can tell though. We might have to wait a couple of weeks.”
“True, might not be a bad idea to just stock up on ‘em.”
“I’ll go to the drug store tomorrow after work.”
“Ugh, work.” He gets up and helps you to your feet. “Not lookin’ forward to that.”
“Me neither.” You sigh.
“Well, I shouldn’t say that, I just wish we could stay like this.”
“I know what you mean. If I could relive the last two weeks over and over, I would.” You walk over to the living room and gasp when you see the photo album sitting on the coffee table. “Harry, look!” You squeal.
You both sit down and snuggle up with the album. You both get glossy eyed when you look over everything. Mariah did an incredible job, not that either of you were worried.
“Your dress really was stunning, baby.”
“So was your suit.”
You look at each other. It didn’t take long until you were both naked and fucking on the couch.
//
“Look at how beautiful the castle was at night.” You were showing Niall a ton of your photos.
“The lights look incredible. Sarah’s been talkin’ about going now, I think you put a bug in her ear.” He chuckles.
“You two should definitely go! She loves the princesses and all that.”
“Believe me, I know. We were thinkin’ of going at the end of this summer.”
“Oh?!” You smile.
“Yeah, I, uh…well…” He takes his phone out and shows you a picture of a ring and you gasp. “Do you think she’ll like it?”
“Oh my god, she’s going to love it!” You hug him. “And she’d love a Disney proposal, are you kidding me?”
“She won’t think it’s cheesy?”
“No! She’ll die, oh my goodness.” You hug him again. “This is wild, we’re all so adult.”
“Well, I figured if we’re gonna buy a house together, I might as well put a ring on it before her dad kills me.” He jokes.
“What towns have you guys been looking in?”
“Right now, just the Milton area. We don’t wanna be too far from the city since I don’t plan on lookin’ for a new job any time soon.”
“It’ll be weird not having you across the street, but I understand wanting a home.”
“Do you think you and Harry will start lookin’ for a house?”
“Not anytime soon. We like living in the city.” You shrug.
“What about when you start havin’ kids?”
“Our apartment can handle a child. If we have more, which we probably will, then I’m sure we’ll need to move. But for now we can stay where we are. I’m kind of nervous. Erica’s been having trouble getting pregnant, and…”
“Hey.” He puts his hand on your shoulder. “It’ll happen when it happens, okay?” He smiles reassuringly.
//
When your period came, Harry seemed more upset than you.
“I guess I just don’t understand how it all works.” He sighs.
“We knew this could happen, we’ll just have to try again when I’m ovulating next.” You give his hand a squeeze and smile. “We need to try not to think about it as much. A lot of people conceive when they’re least expecting it.”
“I know, you’re right.” He kisses your cheek. “We’ll get there.”
//
Two more months had gone by, and you still hadn’t gotten pregnant. Harry was getting ready to take you away for your birthday. Just a simple weekend at a spa to relax. Your summer had gotten sort of stressful. You had gotten hired as a TL at your old college to teach a class online for the summer. It was going really well, and the class was just about over. Your passion for teaching students about media was growing stronger.
This meant, though, many of your nights had been long. You would often stay in your office after hours to get some grading and other work done. Harry hated it, of course. The stress couldn’t have been helping. It was nearly 7PM, and the office was empty. You just needed to get through some emails from your students and then you could go home to start your much needed long weekend for your twenty-seventh birthday.
There was a knock on the outside of your door. It was Harry with a bouquet of flowers. You look up and smile.
“What are you doing here?”
“Thought we could go to dinner. Dropped Buster off with Niall and Sarah.”
“God, I’m gonna miss them when they’re not right across the street.” You frown. “But I’m happy their offer got accepted.”
“Me too. And what great timing that they’re headed to Disney soon too. They can relax from all the stress they’ve been under. I’m glad they’ve gone through it first, to be honest.” He closes the door behind him and locks it.
“No one’s here, you could’ve left that open.”
“Eh, force of habit.” He shrugs.
You stand up to give him a hug. He looks you up and down. You had a red, short sleeve blouse on paired with a black pencil skirt.
“These flowers are beautiful, thank you.”
“Happy almost birthday, my love.” He cups your cheek with one hand and kisses you.
“I just need to finish up some emails and then we can go.”
You sit back down and he comes around to stand behind you. He starts rubbing your shoulders just as you begin typing. Your fingers stop and your eyes flutter closed. Harry would always be your favorite masseuse.
“You look good enough to eat, you know that right?” He whispers in your ear, sending a shiver up your spine.
You send your last email and turn your monitor off. He spins you around in your chair so you’re facing him. You look up at him through your lashes. For years you had told Harry you’d never have sex in your office. But you were ovulating and extremely turned on.
“So why not have your appetizer here then?”
His eyebrows shoot up. He was expecting you to say no or to tell him anything other than what you just said. His hands drag up from your knees to your thighs, bunching up your skirt to your hips. He grips your panties and takes them off of you. He drops to his knees and puts your legs over his shoulders, pulling you closer to the edge of your seat. His tongue was on you in seconds, but he takes it away just as quickly. He nips at your inner thigh, sucking a very dark mark into your skin.
“Fuck.” You breathe as he does it to the other one.
He licks into you again, getting a very good taste. He drags his tongue up to your clit and sucks on you.
“Harry.” Your head rolls back, and the chair nearly tips over, but he steadies it.
One of his hands reaches up to grip your throat, and your eyes roll into the back of your head as you come on his tongue. He stands up and undoes his pants. He licks his lips when he looks at you, he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do to you first.
“Take me on the floor, please.” You beg him.
“Get on your back then.”
You stand up and lay on the ground. Harry chuckles as he gets on the ground over you.
“What?”
“Thought you would’ve wanted me to bend you over the desk.”
“No, I want it like this.” His lips ghost over yours.
You gasp as he enters you, and his tongue goes into your mouth. Yours molds to his and he swallows your groans. He carefully unbuttons your blouse so he can cup your breasts over your bra. He was ramming into you, and it felt incredible.
“Oh my god, Harry.” Your back arches slightly. Something about doing it in your office after saying no for so long was really doing something for you. “Holy shit!” You scream as he rubs on your clit. “Don’t stop.” You groan.
“Baby.” He moans. “Fuck, you’re so beautiful like this.”
You wrap your legs around him to pull him closer to you. You knew your back was going to hurt tomorrow, but you didn’t care. He takes his other hand to grab yours, intertwining your fingers. He pins it next to your head. You use your free hand to grip his throat. You were thankful there was A/C in your office, or the two of you would be drenched in even more sweat than you were.
You tighten around him as you come to another release. He squeezes your hand as he comes inside you. Your grip loosens around his throat as you both catch your breaths. He sticks a finger inside you so nothing slips out, and then he grabs your underwear to slide up your legs.
“Hope you won’t be too uncomfortable at dinner.” He says as he helps you up.
“I’ll be fine.” You smile and kiss him. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”
//
At the end of the month, on their trip in Disney, Niall proposed to Sarah, and she happily accepted. You couldn’t wait to celebrate with them when they got back. The class you taught got amazing reviews in the course evaluations. You were asked to come in for a meeting with the head of the Communication Department.
“Y/N!” Dr. Harrison calls you into her office. You knew her very well. “It’s so good to see you.”
“You too.” You shake her hand and have a seat. “Weird, last time I sat in this seat I was asking you about internships.” You laugh.
“Funny how things come full circle sometimes.” She smiles. “We were very impressed with how well your class went. We haven’t had students do so well with TL like this in a while. A lot of students who take summer courses take them to improve their GPA’s.”
“So I noticed. I had them send me intro videos for their first assignments, and a lot of them said they were grateful my class was being taught.”
“One of our faculty members is heading to another institution next semester. So she’ll only be here for the fall term. We have to start figuring out spring semester courses later this month. She teaches a lot of the film and media courses.” You nod. “You have your MEd, correct?”
“That’s right.”
“We’re going to be searching for a new teaching position soon. I’ve been speaking with the other faculty, you were such a rock star of a student, and we were wondering if you’d consider applying once we open it.”
“What?” You were in shock.
“I know that’s a lot to ask, obviously, you seem to really like your job. You’re good at what you do, but you also seem to be a great teacher. We’d like you to teach more of our students.”
“I…I don’t know…see, my husband and I are trying to start a family, and my work has amazing maternity leave options and benefits. I mean, I could be pregnant now, and if I was that would mean I’d literally just make it to the end of the spring semester, and then I’d be on maternity all summer, and I know being a junior faculty means a lot of-“
“Y/N slow down.” She chuckles.
“It’s just, I essentially get six months off for maternity at my work…”
“I could get you some information about our union benefits. We have nine month contracts and twelve month contracts. Lots of different options. I don’t have kids of my own, but I have to say our insurance benefits are really great. You don’t have to decide anything right now, just know we’d love to have you. We’re going to open the position up at the end of September. At least consider applying, alright?”
On your way home from the meeting you had to pull over on the side of the road to throw up. You had taken the afternoon off from work to go to this meeting, so you go right home. You throw up again the second you get inside, luckily you made it to the toilet.
“What the fuck?” You say to yourself, and then it dawns on you. You get your phone and call Harry. You promised him any time you took a test that you needed to be together.
“Hey baby, how’d the meeting go?”
“Can you come home?”
“Um…uh…I have a client coming soon, why?”
“I’ve been throwing up all afternoon…I think I should take a test.”
“Oh! This shouldn’t take long, could you wait until I get home?”
“Harry.” You groan.
“Okay, take it, but don’t look at the results until I get home, please.”
“Alright.”
You go into the bathroom and take a pregnancy test. You had been trying for five months now, and you hadn’t had a symptom like this yet. You stick the test on the counter in the bathroom and go out to the living room. You had so many things to think over. Teaching had just become a new passion of yours, but was this opportunity worth disrupting everything right now?
You sit down and look over the union information Dr. Harrison gave you. You pull up your benefits package from work on your laptop and try to compare the two. The university, believe it or not, actually had better insurance policies. Being protected by a union would also be nice. This was the shitty part about working for a good business. You felt guilty for wanting something new. You were so grateful for everything, but you did the same thing every single day, and it just wasn’t giving you the same fulfillment it used to. You had been there since you were twenty-one, fresh out of college. You were twenty-seven now, maybe something new would be good. Besides that, you knew Niall had one foot out the door. Sarah had gotten a position at a nice prep-school, and he was looking  at some other companies closer to their new house. He needed to be able to move up, and there were no positions opening up any time soon. He had been at Mark It even longer than you. A lot was changing all at once.
You take a deep breath and tell yourself you’ll talk things over with Harry later. A couple of hours later, Harry bursts through the door with Buster. You stand up immediately and walk with him hand in hand to the bathroom. You both look at the test sitting there and take a deep as you walk up to it. Both of your eyes widen when you look at it.

SoKai Week Day 1 - Paopu Fruit
Word Count: 4, 054
--------------------------
To Sora and Kairi, it was like being on an emotional high.
Through time, their bond had hardened like concrete—impenetrable. It was beyond latent feelings at this point, it was a harmonious compound of encouragement, support, admiration, and most of all, trust.
With their hands intertwined and legs dangling as they were bundled together close on the paopu fruit tree, these emotions ran rapid with just a single touch. The salty air and the seagulls squawking overhead was nothing short of the pleasantries the two had become familiar with. Though, it would’ve meant little if they didn’t have each other.
“I don’t think I could ever get tired of this place,” Kairi said, closing her eyes and allowing the wind to gently caress her face. “I know in my heart that this isn’t where I come from, but to me, this is home.”
“It always has been,” Sora validated.
“You think so?”
“Of course! This place wouldn’t be the same without you, you know?” Sora sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. “And hey, I’d be a total wreck without you. Do you know how many times I probably would’ve fell to darkness if it weren’t for you being by my side?”
“True. You’re pretty much hopeless without me,” she teased.
“Hey!” Fabricating a look of hurt, he pulled her in closer with one swift motion and sent Kairi into a fit of giggles all the while. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I think even you can figure that out, dork.”
Another five minutes passed as they wrestled, mostly consisting of Sora trying to pull Kairi in close while she pretended to reject his advances, no matter how much she loved every second of it. As their laughter died down, they settled into a comfortable embrace; the warmth of Sora’s arms encompassed around her petite frame. They sat in a comfortable stillness, no words traded between them as neither broke eye contact until Kairi tucked some hair behind her ear with a soft giggle.
“What’s that goofy look for?” she asked.
“Sorry,” Sora apologized insincerely, putting on a grin. “Guess I just don’t want to forget that I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”
Kairi’s blush intensified along with the ends of her lips. “You’re such a cornball.”
Sora chuckled nervously as he scratched his cheek as he imagined how much Donald would tease him if he heard that one. “Yeah, well…”
“It’s okay,” Kairi said. “I like how cheesy you are.”
“Well, there’s plenty more where that came from!” Sora pulled her in with an even tighter embrace, once again making Kairi burst into laughter.
When it died down, she rested her palm against his face and used her thumb to travel across the texture of his soft skin. “Looks like you really never did change,” she said.
Sora smiled, tenderly taking hold of her hand. “Of course I didn’t.”
Their smiles were radiant, weaved with affection as a sheen of desire shimmered over Kairi’s eyes when she noticed Sora looking at her lips. Their anticipation surged as their proximity decreased, their faces inching closer, closer, and closer...
“Sora!”
A yelp escaped them both as whatever tension there may have been dissipated and they held each other even tighter. Their nerves settled as Donald and Goofy entered their light of vision, the voice clearly belonging to the former of the two.
“Donald? Goofy?” Sora asked. “What’s up?”
“Riku and the King wanted us to tell you about the bonfire tonight,” Donald explained. “Since we’ll be celebrating the return of a half-pint like you, Sora.”
Goofy took note of the fact that neither of the two had let go of the other since Donald spooked them. “Gawrsh, I shore hope we aren’t interruptin’ you all.”
“Uh, no, of course not!” Sora gave a sheepish grin as he rubbed the back of his head.
“Gee, then how come your face is red, Sora?” Goofy asked.
“Awwww, isn’t that sweet?” Donald teased, clasping his hands together and bringing them up to the side of his face.
“Could you cut that out?” Sora clenched a fist as Donald burst into laughter. “No offense, but can you two buzz off? Kind of in the middle of something here.”
“Guess we oughta stop meddlin’ then, a-hyuk,” Goofy said with a chuckle as he made his leave with his usual gangly walk. Donald didn’t stray too far behind.
“And remember to behave, Sora. Mind your manners,” Donald joked.
“Knock it off!” Sora shouted as his friends entered the seaside shack. “That’s it. He’s gonna regret this the next time I see him alone with Daisy.”
Kairi found Sora’s frustration amusing as she placed her hand on his cheek, directing his focus back to her. “Well, don’t worry. We still have plenty of time to ourselves, right?”
It wasn’t long before whatever Donald had said before became irrelevant as Sora fell into a goofy smile. “Yeah, you’re right.”
At least, so he thought until a frisbee smacked the back of his head. “Ouch!” Sora cried as he massaged the tender spot and turned around to spot Lea catching the frisbee just in time. Sora should’ve expected as much since it wasn’t uncommon for Lea, Isa, and Ven to have their fairly regular frisbee games around this time. Still, wasn’t it odd that it somehow hit his head?
“Yo! Sorry ‘bout that,” Lea called, waving.
“Aww, no biggie,” Sora called back. He returned his focus to Kairi once again but it didn’t take more than a few minutes before the frisbee hit him in the back of the head again. This time, Lea received a frown.
“Sorry, butterfingers!” Lea said, though this time Sora noticed Ven covering his mouth with both hands while Isa rolled his eyes.
Sora slowly turned back around to face Kairi, giving him an understanding smile. “Think maybe we should find a different spot?”
Sora shook his head. “No, it’s fine. I’m sure it’s just an honest mistake.” Despite his words, his eyes narrowed as if he were waiting. Ten minutes passed and nothing occurred. The three seemed to continue about their own business. Sora let out a sigh of relief.
“Now, where were we?” Sora said, his usual smile returning before it was derailed less than a second later when the frisbee came hurtling right into the back of his head.
“Sorry again!” Lea apologized through the laughter he was failing horribly to stifle. “M-My fingers slipped!”
Sora growled, having had more than enough as he pushed himself off the tree, helping Kairi down all the while, as he took her hand and marched towards the seaside shack. Kairi had no objections but was left wondering where their next destination lied. “Where are we going?” she asked, tilting her head to the side.
“Away from those jerks,” Sora said vaguely.
When Sora and Kairi exited the seaside shack, Lea and Ven were quick to catch up to them.
“Aww, where you goin’, buddy?” Lea asked, draping an arm around his shoulder as he pinched Sora’s cheek. “We didn’t mean to interrupt you guys. Was I disrupting the mood? It’s just that you two are just so darn cute.”
Sora grumbled under his breath but ignored Lea as he led (pulled, more accurately) Kairi inside the Secret Place, ignoring the howls of laughter from Lea and Ventus echoing in the short distance.
When Sora and Kairi made it inside, the former scoped the place out in search of any unwanted souls in the area. Thankfully, it looked empty as Sora let out a relieved sigh and smiled. He loved all of his friends dearly, but even he wanted some space every now and then to be with the girl of his dreams. He looked back at Kairi, their hands still attached.
“Think the coast is clear?” Kairi asked with a cheeky grin.
“Yeah, I think so.” Sora rubbed the back of his head. “Sorry about that. Hope I can at least make it up to you.”
Kairi shook her head softly as she wrapped her arms around the base of his neck, momentarily catching Sora by surprise before he carefully held her waist, bringing their foreheads together. “You already did.”
“I did?”
“Yes,” Kairi answered without hesitation. Her eyes traveled over to the drawings they made as kids handing each other a paopu fruit. “By just being you. I told you before all of this that I wanted you to never change and you haven’t. That’s more than enough for me.”
“Kairi...”
Before their lips could seal the deal, they heard a sharp squeal in the short distance. They immediately detached themselves from each other and scoped out the area.
“Who’s there?” Sora asked, returning to his previous look of defense.
Kairi narrowed her eyes, taking mindful steps as her eyes wandered over the cave until she heard hushed voices.
“I told you not to freak out over this, you dip,” said a hushed male voice.
“Shut up! They’re super cute! What do you want me to do?” asked an equally hushed female voice in return.
Kairi was able to pinpoint the voices from behind the large rock with a less than flattering face drawn on it. Making sure not to alert whoever happened to be back there, she tiptoed over until she looked behind the rock to find nothing. She raised her eyebrow.
Meanwhile, Sora turned around and saw two individuals making a poor attempt at being stealthy as they tried to crawl out of the Secret Place unseen. “Hey!” he shouted.
The two culprits, a.k.a Tidus and Selphie, looked up like deer caught in the headlights. The former of the two bumped into the rear of the latter, sending them both to the ground.
“Tidus? Selph?” Kairi voiced as she emerged from the other side of the rock.
Selphie scrambled back up to her feet, knocking Tidus back down in the process as she approached her best girl friend. “I-It’s not what it looks like!”
Tidus rubbed the sore spot on the back of his head. “Except it’s totally what it looks like.” The comment earned him a scowl from Selphie.
“Were you two spying on us?” Kairi asked.
Selphie bit her lip and averted her eyes. “W-Well, that’s uh...”
“It was her idea,” Tidus accused with a sharp finger pointed at Selphie, though the brunette didn’t deny it as she fiddled with her fingers.
“Selphie...” Kairi admonished.
“I’m sorry! I just heard you two like to come here a lot Lea and, uh... I dunno, I was a teeny bit curious to see how far you guys were gonna go. And you’re just soooo cute!”
Sora sighed as he shrugged defeatedly.
“That’s... sweet, Selphie, but boundaries would be nice sometimes, you know?” Kairi chastised kindly.
Selphie bowed her head in shame. “Yeah, I know...”
Sora crossed his arms. He was beginning to think this island was too crowded for his liking. “Well, uh, we’ll leave you two to it then,” he said somewhat hastily.
Kairi was caught off-guard when Sora moved past Selphie and took her hand in one swift motion as he hurried out of the Secret Place.
“W-Wait!” Selphie said, reaching out for them. “I just need to know if you guys have gotten to third-ba—”
Tidus covered Selphie’s mouth and pulled her back before she made the situation any more awkward than she already had.
“Just don’t, Selph.”
After having to feel the brunt of Lea’s teasing once again, Sora led Kairi to the wooden door leading to the cove. Sora and Kairi briefly examined the area before hopping across the broken bridge that led to the other side.
“Watch your step,” Sora warned.
Kairi puffed out her chest. “Hey, don’t you worry about me, I think by now I’ve learned a thing or twoowhoa!” she sputtered as she nearly tripped over herself when she landed on the other side before Sora caught her in the nick of time. He carefully brought her back up to her feet.
“You okay?” Sora asked with genuine concern.
Kairi found the will to stop ogling and cast him a smile. “Yes.”
They stood in a comfortable silence before they heard feet pattering against the sandy surface in the short distance.
“Woof, woof! Woof, woof!”
Before he even had a chance to react, Sora was tackled to the floor by Pluto and it only took a second longer for his face to be submerged in the dog’s drool.
“Aww, Pluto,” Sora whined, though Kairi couldn’t bite back the laughter that escaped her even if she wanted to. Once Sora’s face was appropriately drenched, he moved over to Kairi and would’ve nearly pounced on her as well if Kairi didn’t catch him in time. She still gave him plenty of chin scratches and pets to assure him his appearance wasn’t entirely unwelcome.
“It’s very nice to see you, too,” Kairi greeted. “How’ve you been, boy?”
“Gosh,” said a familiar high-pitched voice. “Sorry about that, you two. You know how Pluto can get sometimes.”
King Mickey approached them along with Riku. The latter chuckled as Kairi took a handkerchief out of one of the pockets of her pink shorts, dabbing Sora’s face once she was free from Pluto.
“Sorry, were we interrupting something?” Riku asked, a sly grin on his face.
Sora cleared his throat. “Uh, well...”
“Yes, you are,” Kairi answered boldly, though her words betrayed the smile on her face.
Riku raised his hands in defense. “Don’t mind us, we were just trying to get a little training in. But if you needed a little bit of privacy, then by all means...”
Riku stepped out of the way, presenting the rest of the cove to them, empty and barren for their disposal. Kairi sent an appreciative smile while Sora bashfully scratched his cheek.
“Thanks, Riku,” Sora said as he and Kairi moved past them. Riku playfully saluted while he and Mickey shared a chuckle. They were about to leave along with Pluto before they saw Lea charging in hot.
“Hey, Sora! I got somethin’ for ya,” he cried.
Riku calmly grabbed the back of Lea’s shirt before he could get any closer and yanked him back. “I don’t think so.”
“No, but it’s really important! I swear,” Lea said.
“What is it?” Mickey asked.
“I’m locked out of my house and I need his Keyblade to unlock it.”
Riku and Mickey shared a look. “You do realize more than half of us have Keyblades, right? Matter of fact, don’t you have a Keyblade?”
“And don’tcha live in Twilight Town?” Mickey added.
“I… I just moved here?” Lea gave a sheepish grin. “Today, actually. Crazy coincidence, am I right?”
Riku and Mickey shared a look of disbelief before nodding to affirm they were on the same page. Despite his protests, they grabbed Lea by his shoulders as they dragged him away from the scene.
Sora and Kairi were left to themselves as their eyes wandered the cove, a wave of nostalgia flooding over them both as memories lurked in every nook and cranny of this area of the island.
“Hey, remember when the raft used to be here?” Kairi asked as she wrapped her arms behind her back. “It’s almost like... this is where everything started.”
“How could I forget?” Sora asked with a chuckle. “We worked so hard on that thing. It’s a shame we never got to give it a try.”
“It’s a nice thought, wondering what would’ve happened had we been together the whole time setting sail on the sea. But honestly...” Kairi walked towards the shore, her arms tied behind her back as she looked to the sky wistfully. “If I could go back and change how everything went down, I don’t think I would.”
“Really?” Sora tilted his head.
Mm hm.” Kairi nodded, pursing her lips into a tight smile. “It may not have been ideal, but being able to go inside your heart, being able to see things through your eyes and feel the things that you felt... how much you cared about me and wanted nothing more than to make sure I was safe... maybe we’re this close because of that. And ever since then, no matter what, we always find our way back to each other again.” She turned around and faced him. “I wouldn’t trade that for anything. Not for one second.”
Sora was left speechless for a moment until a certain warmth washed him over. “Kairi...” he said quietly, his eyes trained on the sand. “I guess sometimes I just wish I could’ve done better for you. You spent all that time having to watch from the sidelines, waiting for me to come home because I kept leaving you all alone. I guess sometimes I wish I could’ve done better for you.”
Kairi sighed, but she settled into a gentle smile as she carefully approached him in good spirits. “Sora, go into your back pocket for me please.”
Sora raised an eyebrow. “Uh, sure.”
He did as told and dug into his back pocket and retrieved the good luck charm she had given him all those years ago. Since then, she wanted him to keep it permanently as a reminder of the bond they shared. Sora had come to treasure it deeply.
“Even if we’re apart, we’re not alone anymore,” Kairi said. “Remember that?”
Sora looked over the charm and the face, his own face, she drew grinning back at him. His eyes shimmered as the memories came back. “Yeah,” he said. “We made a promise.”
Kairi nodded. “We did. No matter what happens, no matter how far apart we are...”
She took Sora’s hand and gently closed them around the good luck charm.
“We’ll always find each other,” she said with a soft smile. “No matter what.”
After a moment of silence, Sora nodded. “You’re right.” He gripped his lucky charm harder. “I don’t think I would trade anything in the world for that either.”
“So, don’t worry about that stuff. In the end, I think it made me stronger. Not just me, but you too. And besides, I love you just the way you are, no matter how much of a hopeless goofball you are.”
“Thanks, Kai—hey, wait a minute! You take that back.”
Kairi giggled as she ran away. “But it’s the truth! You said it yourself.”
Sora grinned. “Okay, you asked for it!”
Sora chased Kairi all over the cove, leaving no stone unturned as they playfully teased each other all the while. Sora could have easily caught up to her before, but after all the training Kairi had received, she was a lot trickier to catch these days. Their misadventures ranged from running behind the coconut trees to splashing each other in the sea.
At one point, Kairi was running away after she casted Waterga magic on Sora (which Sora thought was cheating but at least he had an Aeroga spell to dry himself fast).
“Now, you’re really gonna get it!” Sora declared as he chased after her.
“I’d like to see you try!”
Sora looked ahead and put on a look of surprise. “Oh, hey Riku!”
Kairi stopped in her tracks. “Riku?” Before she had a second longer to react, Sora grabbed her by the waist from behind.
“Gotcha!” he said, a toothy smile as Kairi kicked her legs out.
“No!” she said in-between her giggles. “Lemme go, you lazy bum!”
“Nuh uh, I need my revenge.” Sora put on a malicious smile as he began tickling her sides. Kairi howled with uncontrollable laughter.
“Sora…! I-I can’t!” Kairi sputtered.
“Ha! Not so tough are ya now, huuuuhaaaaah!” Sora couldn’t finish his comment before he tripped over himself while backing up. He fell to his back, taking the brunt of the fall while he caught Kairi in the nick of time as she fell on top of his chest. They landed in the middle of shrubbery and gorgeous flowers that bloomed brilliantly near the ladder that led to the zipline.
After a brief stint of silence, they ultimately laughed at the situation at hand. This felt right. This was how it should’ve been. The stars had aligned and the universe was finally working in their favor. So it seemed, at least. Kairi wanted to last forever.
But she knew deep down all good things must come to an end.
“Hey,” she said suddenly. “I have a surprise for you.”
Before Sora could question her, she went into her back pocket and pulled out a paopu fruit. How she was able to carry that back there, she wasn’t sure but neither of them questioned it.
“I know we’ve already shared one before, but... I kind of want to relive that moment again,” Kairi admitted.
Sora didn’t say anything. He only offered a smile. A smile that communicated everything it needed to. He told her that she was safe, secure, and free of judgment. He told her that she was the apple of his eyes, the girl of his dreams, and his destiny. He told her how happy he was the first time she asked him to share one with him and he wanted nothing more than to do it again. All with one smile.
“You know I’ll come back to you, right?” he asked. “I won’t give up. I’ll never give up.”
Kairi’s smile turned solemn. “Promise?”
“Promise.”
Sora took the paopu fruit from her possession and gently grazed his teeth on top of one of the spikes. Kairi took the initiative to nibble the other end, but before either could bite down, she cupped his cheek with her hand. Sora responded by using his index finger and thumb to carefully hold her chin.
The way he looked into her eyes with such a focus and confidence, it was enough to make a tear stream down her face. No matter what the situation, he always assured her that he would come back.
They both simultaneously bit down on the paopu fruit, solidifying their destiny to find each other once again, and in a turn of events, the fruit dissipated into sparkles that twinkled against the setting sun. They were still and locked firmly in the moment as they looked into each other’s eyes, her hand and his fingers still attached to each other’s faces, quietly admiring each other until Sora ended up being the first to break it.
“Don’t ever forget,” he said. “Wherever you go...”
Then Kairi woke up.
Reality settled as the memories slowly drifted back as she studied her room, the morning sun peeking through the slits of her blinds and its warmth faded from the translucent curtains. Eventually, she remembered it had been a year and a few months since Sora disappeared. She and the others were still hard at work looking for a way to bring him back home. But for a moment, she was relieved of the pain of her own uncertainty of his whereabouts and her lack of ability to see his kind smile beyond distant memories. It reminded her of the time when she first returned to the islands without Sora or Riku, except it was even more painful because her memory was fully intact.
He was there. He was so close. She could feel his touch. Everything felt so natural and real. Perhaps, in its own roundabout way, it was?
Maybe, just maybe... Sora was trying to communicate with her. Perhaps he wanted to assure her that he was okay and that he would return to her, but they could only meet in a dream. As the dream was nearing its end, she did recall her memories slowly rematerializing in the back corners of her mind and she had to assume the same could’ve been said for Sora as well as their fun-filled day on Destiny Islands without a care in the world came to an end. They both remembered that Sora still had to come back and he made sure to promise that he would.
Yes, it had to be him. Even the impossible couldn’t keep him away from her for long. No matter what the circumstances, Sora found a way.
Tears welled up in her eyes and they gradually slid down her cheeks as she looked out the window at the bright, morning sky.
“I’m always with you,” Kairi finished.

After Sora was able to save you and everyone else's hearts, he stood on the wasteland, his right hand clasped firmly in Kairi's left and your right hand in his left.
"You okay?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah. Thanks, Kairi," Sora said.
You and Kairi smiled back at him. When Sora looked around you all, he saw that all the others were there, too.
"it did work," he said. He felt the tight knot of emotions within him slowly coming undone. The despair had threatened to consume him--but it was thanks to all those he saw here now that he had made it back, including you and Class 1-A. Sora slowly released his grip on your and Kairi's hand. Everything was going to be okay. Donald and Goofy smiled valiantly.
"Of course!"
"Now point us back at those bad guys!"
The enthusiasm of you and everyone else filled Sora with relief, and he faced forward again.
"Right!" he said.
You all quickly agreed and got moving. Master Xehanort and his cohorts--the Real Organization XIII--awaited you all across the wastes.
Ventus was the first to catch sight of the figure up ahead amid the whirling dust.
“Terra!” he shouted, running off before you all could get a word in.
Aqua started after him, calling his name with a hint of apprehension. Ventus was unaware that Terra’s body was under Xehanort’s control.
“That’s not him, is it?” Sero asked Denki, who nodded in response.
“Terra! We found you!” Ventus exclaimed as he took his friend’s hand.
“Terra, please say you’re in there,” Aqua said in a more cautious voice.
Instead of replying, Terra observed her quietly. His blue eyes seemed to stare right through her, and she placed a hand on Ventus’s shoulder to draw him away.
“What gives, Aqua?” Ventus asked.
“I know that you’re not him,” Aqua said as he placed herself before Ventus protectively. “Now, let our friend go!”
That was when Terra’s hair turned white, and his blue eyes turned to gold.
“He is their thirteenth,” Mickey said softly.
“Today is the day you all lose,” Terranort quietly told you all.
“What?!” Aqua cried. A dark fog began to congeal behind Terranort.
“Before you even face the thirteen, every last one of you will be torn to heart from body. But fear not. The χ-blade will still be forged,” he said.
He called his Keyblade to his hand. Beyond the dark fog, atop the cliffs looming above the wasteland, countless Keyblades stood thrust into the terrain like grave markers.
“We’re not gonna lose to you,” you said.
With a smirk at your challenge, Terranort launched himself at Ventus, closing the distance in a single moment, and dealt the boy with a devastating blow with his Keyblade--or he would’ve, if someone didn’t intercept the attack.
“Who are you?” Terranort asked. The one who blocked and knocked away Terranort’s Keyblade was a man clad in armor.
“Got you, Xehanort,” he said, forcing the possessed figure back.
“Who is that?” Ochako asked.
“Terra?” Aqua asked softly. That armor had once belonged to her friend. And what lay within it now...was Terra’s lingering will. Though there was no one physically in the armor now, the thoughts and desires dwelling within it were still fighting to protect everyone.
“That’s Terra’s lingering will. After Xehanort possessed Terra, he was separated from his armor and that created the Lingering Will,” Denki said.
“This is impossible!” Terranort said as he seemed panicked as the Lingering Will strode ominously toward him.
“How I’ve waited for this moment.”
Its Keyblade lashed like a whip and wrapped around Terranort’s weapon, and the Lingering Will yanked back its Keyblade with enough force to fling Terranort into the air.
“Woah! That is so manly!” Kirishima said.
“Stop saying manly, shitty hair! It’s getting annoying!” Bakugou said.
“I ain’t gonna stop, Bakubro!”
Terranort quickly let go of his ensnared Keyblade and adjusted his trajectory in midair so he could attack his armored foe head-on. But the Lingering Will’s Keyblade transformed into what looked like a giant cannon and released a blast of light.
“Okay...That’s cool!” Sero said.
“I need something like that!” Bakugou said.
“You already have gauntlets, Kacchan,” Izuku said.
“Shut up, you damn nerd!”
Terranort let out a cry of anguish as the beam sent him hurtling back. As soon as he had recovered his Keyblade, he was forced to fend off a furious assault.
“Terra!” Ventus shouted.
“No, Ven!” Aqua stopped Ventus as he tried to join the fray.
“But--”
“Them first,” Aqua said as she turned around. Ventus followed her line of sight to a vast throng of Nobodies, Heartless, and Unversed that practically filled the sky--and was coming right at you all. The ground shook as an inky darkness spread--and from it emerged the Demon Tide.
“We’ll hold off the others.” Aqua and Ven charged toward the advancing army.
“Okay. We got this!” Izuku replied, and then he, Class 1-A, you, Sora, Donald, and Goofy turned to take down the Demon Tide. Riku, Mickey, Kairi, and Axel readied their Keyblades for battle.
Sora hacked away at the Demon Tide, which was like a tsunami composed of hundreds of thousands of Shadows. Goofy did his best to fend off any attacks on Sora, but whenever the Heartless managed to land a hit, you were right there to patch him up with your quirk. (Take some notes, Donald!)
Meanwhile, Riku and the king fought the horde of Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed while getting help from most of Class 1-A.
“You two hanging in there?” Todoroki asked.
“We’re fine! What about you guys?”
“Eh, can’t complain. We’ve dealt with stuff like this before,” Kirishima said. Riku risked a quick glance on Kairi, who was fighting along side Axel. Ochako and Momo were also there with them.
“I’ve got this!” Kairi called out as she parried an attack from a Nobody.
“Nice one, Kairi!” Ochako said.
“Thanks!”
“Glad I got you girls in my corner!” Axel said.
“Right back at you, Axel!” Momo said. Axel threw his Keyblade at the enemy.
“I just wish I felt better about all this.” Across the battlefield, Ventus, Aqua, Iida, and Denki were going head-to-head with a giant Heartless.
“Aqua!” Ven shouted as he dashed over to his friend to protect her from a punch by a huge Heartless that sent her to her knees. He caught the follow-up attack that was intended for her with his Keyblade. He took advantage of the recoil to rush in close and help Iida and Denki finish it off.
“Thanks, Ven! You’re my favorite!” Denki said.
“Huh?” Ven asked
“It’s a long story,” Iida said.
“Now isn’t the time to talk,” Aqua said as she got to her feet and moved off to confront more Heartless.
The Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed kept coming--no matter how many times you all struck them down, there were always more to take down. It seemed like the darkness was blotting out the sky itself. All the same, you all wouldn’t give up.
“Let’s end this!” you shouted as you dealt the Demon Tide an attack so fierce that the whole shape of the mass shifted.
“C’mon...” As you came back to the ground, you and Sora watched as the Demon Tide began swirling around itself in a vortex.
“Something’s wrong,” Mineta said.
“Look out!” Tokoyami shouted.
All the Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed were sucked into the winds it had stirred up, forming a colossal hurricane of Darkness.
Soon, Riku, the king, Kairi, Axel, Aqua, Ventus, and Class 1-A were staring in awe as well.
“What now?” Goofy asked as he edged backward, using his shield.
“Sora?” you and Donald asked with an uncertain glance.
“I’ll stop it!” Sora broke into a run, knocking aside any Heartless that got in his way as he made a beeline for the Demon Tide.
“Sora!” you all shouted behind him.
Just as Sora sprang into the air and was about to come down on the Demon Tide with his Keyblade, a blinding light engulfed him.
“Need some help?” Standing within the light was a boy Sora had never even seen before, let alone met. The boy had silver hair and a red scarf around his neck.
“Huh?” Sora gasped, then found himself back on the ground again. When he opened his eyes, thousands of Keyblades were flashing through the air above him. You and Sora leaped onto the swarm of Keyblades and rode it straight toward the dark vortex. The Keyblades plunged into the Demon Tide and scattered it.
The surviving Heartless of the Demon Tide came back together to form what resembled a black comet heading for you and Sora. But the Keyblades fanned out to shielded the two of you from the onslaught, and together with all of them, you and Sora became a ray of light and sliced the dark mass apart.
Once you and Sora landed back on the ground, the two of you looked up at the thousands of Keyblades. Their purpose served, the proud weapons burst apart into glimmering shards.
“Sora! (Y/N)! Are you okay?” Izuku called, running over.
“Yeah,” Sora replied with a smile. You smiled too and gave Izuku a hug.
“What the hell was that?” Bakugou asked, looking up to where the Keyblades had been a moment ago.
“Keyblade wielders...from long ago,” Aqua said.
“It’s the light of the past,” Ven added as he, too, looked up at the sky.
“Look,” Kairi said as she spotted someone and pointed.
“Just send out the Big Bad,” Axel grumbled.
“I can just tell that you and I would make good friends,” Bakugou said.
The one strolling towards you all across the empty battlefield...was Riku--a Riku that as a little younger than the one with you now. He snickered at you all.
“You!” Riku shouted, taking a step forward. Mickey quickly stepped over to hold him back.
“The Organization’s been using hearts. Ones Xehanort got to in the past and has influence over. So that must be you from when Ansem has control over your heart,” he said.
“Yeah. How could I forget?” Riku said half to himself, lowering his head for a moment. Amused by his chagrin, Repliku opened his eyes, bared his teeth, and laughed loudly.
“I’d say that was our finest hour,” he said. Riku returned his gaze of his younger self.
“Wrong. My hour of weakness,” he said.
“You sure? How about we find out?!”
A black miasma billowed up from Repliku, and then, from behind him, a gigantic shadow shaped like Xehanort rose ominously. It extended its arms to the sides, filling the sky.
“What is that?!” Mineta cried.
“A real test for the Mark of Mastery!” Repliku cried. Xigbar chose that moment to make his entrance.
“Dude, who the hell is that?” Sero asked Denki.
“That’s Xigbar,” Denki replied.
“We gotta make sure you’re not blundering your way toward a second failure,” Xigbar sneered.
“Blundering? I’ll have you know we failed with style, chief,” Axel replied.
“At least you admit it. Well, if you guardians think you brought the goods, you’ll have to prove it to the old guy one last time. Kid, take it away.”
Repliku let out a bellow, causing the dark figure looming behind him to swell even larger. Several Demon Towers burst from the ground around you and the others. Repliku made a shadowy exit of his own, leaving the world shrouded in darkness.
The Shadows were so great in number that it was hard to tell if they were a tower, a tide, or even individuals at all. One thing was certain: There were enough of them to consume the world. The creatures attacked haphazardly, and while you and the others dispatched any that came your way, there was no end in sight. It wasn’t just Shadows--or even Heartless--that threatened you all, either. There were also Nobodies and Unversed among the throng.
“Form up! Now!” Izuku shouted.
You all gathered in a circle, but you were all pressed back in on one another. Within the defensive ring, Mickey looked down at his Keyblade. He started to raise it--only to be stopped by Riku. Mickey looked up at him, but Riku shook his head quietly.
“If you try to use time magic against these numbers, you won’t have enough strength for the final battle,” Riku said. Mickey lowered his eyes sadly.
“I’ll try and break through,” Aqua called. “Everyone, get ready!”
“Alone? That’s crazy! I’ll help!” Ven said. Both of them struck at the Heartless, but no more than that.
“Two is no better,” Kairi said.
“Yeah, splitting up is a bad idea!” Axel added, punctuating the statement with a swing of his Keyblade.
“I agree with flamsi-locks there!” Bakugou said.
“Are you always like this?”
“Hell yeah!” Even as you all argued, more and more Shadows were fallen from the sky like black rain.
“There’s way too many!” Goofy yelped, dropping into a fearful crouch.
“We’re finished!” Donald said as he quickly joined Goofy. Just as you were all about to give up, a feather like sword landed in front of Sora, taking down a Heartless. (you know I had to add our favorite bird man)
“Is that a...” he asked. Suddenly, an orb of light lanced through the gloom overhead and fell upon your foes.
“Hey! Did we just missed the party?” someone asked. You and Class 1-A recognized the voice and saw Hawks swoop down to you all.
“Hawks!” you and Class 1-A exclaimed. From behind him, pro heroes from back home arrived, including...
“Dad!” you exclaimed as you ran up to Aizawa. From next to Aizawa you saw Present Mic. “Where’s Eri?”
“Don’t worry. Shinsou’s watching over her,” Aizawa said. You smiled and watched as the light grew into a radiant column that sent the Shadows flying every which way, and you all has to shield your eyes against it. When you all opened them again to see what happened, there was Master Yen Sid, standing there in the flesh!
“Master Yen Sid!” you and the others exclaimed.
The sorcerer, who was also a Keyblade Master, clapped his glowing hands together, then quickly held you all aloft, releasing a burst of light that destroyed any Shadow it touched and created a pathway straight through the horde.
“Go, my champions. I will hold them all here for as long as I can,” MYS said.
“We’re not leaving you behind!” Mickey cried. Donald and Goofy looked at each other and then, with a nod, ran over to Yen Sid’s side.
“You guys go on!”
“Me and Donald will stay here. The two of us’ll back up Master Yen Sid!” The two of them readied their weapons to protect the sorcerer’s back.
“Donald...Goofy...” Sadness filled Sora’s voice. They had stuck by his side through all his adventures thus far, and he hated to leave them. You ran up to Sora and gave him a comforting hug.
“You’re a whole pint by yourself, Sora,” you said.
“Don’t worry. We’ll catch up with ya in just a bit!” Goofy added. Sora and Mickey looked at their friends.
“Okay!”
“We’ll regroup later!”
“Make haste!” MYS shouted. You and the others, including the pro heroes, ran down the glowing path the sorcerer had cleared.

A Step Closer to Home
Tumblr media
Sora’s stuck in Quadratum, alone, but a familiar voice comforts him and gives him courage to keep moving forward. His friends are waiting for him, and he wants to return to them, no matter what.
~1935 words. Post-Kingdom Hearts III and Melody of Memory. Gen, Friendship. Introspection, Reflection, Slight Angst, Hope. Sora POV. Written for @sorazine.
Sora never thought he’d get tired of seeing other worlds, but he sure was getting tired of this one.
Maybe it was because he was stuck here. Couldn’t leave like he wanted to. It wasn’t like this was an ugly place, or even a bad place, but all the tall buildings and skyscrapers were starting to feel more like prison walls boxing him in than a testament to all the cool things people could do with the right technology.
It was always cities, wasn’t it? Always cities he was getting stuck in. First The World That Never Was, and now this place. Quadratum, it was called. Full of more monsters he had to fight, but this time without the promise he would be able to get home.
Home. What he wouldn’t give to see it again. He missed the feel of the sand beneath his bare feet, the cold of the waves crashing against the shore, the heat from the sun beating down on his back. He was an islander, through and through, and he felt lost without his home. Lost without being able to see all the stars in the sky. He could barely see them from here—the city lights were too bright for that.
More than Destiny Islands itself, though, he missed his friends. There was an empty ache inside his heart where they should be. Did they miss him as much as he missed them? He almost wished they didn’t. Because if they did, that would just mean more pain for them, and they had already suffered too much.
It was okay that he was wandering around the streets of Quadratum at night all by himself. Really. The more monsters he fought, the better, even though it was pouring down rain. He just had to keep fighting and fighting and fighting. One foot in front of the other, till he stumbled on a curb and fell with a plop onto the wet ground, the rain pouring down around him and chilling him to the bone.
“Guess I really should’ve nagged Donald more about that coat, or asked Goofy to help me buy one,” he said as he huddled in on himself. His Keyblade lay on the ground nearby, and it glinted dully from the street lights. He was a little stronger than when he’d first gotten here, but it was still nothing compared to how he used to be able to fight. He was weak without his friends. Powerless. Always had been, always would be.
He wouldn’t change what he’d done. He didn’t regret saving them. Carrying their pain in his own heart was a part of caring. Their strength was his strength, their weakness his weakness, their smiles his smiles, their tears his tears.
But his tears weren’t their tears. They welled up in his eyes and dripped down his cheeks and mingled with the water on the ground, empty and sad and alone. No one came to wipe his eyes or dry his face; no one was here to share his pain like he’d shared theirs.
Maybe his friends were crying for him back in the Realm of Light, but the connections had been cut off as he’d crossed over into this realm. They could be crying their hearts out, and he still wouldn’t know.
Man, being alone really sucked. The empty ache in his heart throbbed, and try as he might, he couldn’t get the tears to stop coming. Riku would be giving him so much crap for this right now if he were here, because Sora was doing the exact opposite of pulling it together. What he wouldn’t give for some tough love from his friend right about now. But the floodgates had been opened, and he’d just have to let it all out till there was nothing left.
“I guess that’s the nice thing about the rain,” he remarked to no one as he wiped his eyes. “When the sky’s crying, no one else can tell you’re crying, too.”
It was like that story Kairi had told him once, about why it rained. One of her grandmother’s stories from Radiant Garden. The original rulers of Radiant Garden had lived in the skies, it was said, and when the king died, the queen cried for him so much that her tears fell from the sky and flooded the land. The people of Radiant Garden took those floods and built waterfalls and pools and canals, and those waterfalls and pools and canals gave rise to Radiant Garden’s beautiful flowers.
Sora had always thought the story was really sad, but sitting here soaking wet on the ground without a friend in sight, it just seemed so much worse. He felt as alone as that queen must’ve felt. But at least people remembered her and the king. No one would tell stories about Sora. He was just a nobody, stuck here in the darkness. Once he was gone for good, he’d fade into oblivion, and that would be that.
Getting up was pointless. He’d just have to keep fighting, and for what? So he could dream about seeing Kairi and Riku and the rest of his friends again? Maybe it would be better if he just stayed here and—
“You don’t really believe that, do you?”
He wiped his eyes and looked around, but he couldn’t see anyone else. “Huh?”
“You don’t really think giving up is okay.”
He grabbed his Keyblade and struggled to his feet. “Who are you? What do you want with me?”
“Relax, Sora. I know you’re feeling down right now, but you’ll be okay.”
The voice was oddly familiar. Sora knew he had heard it before. Who—
“How do you know my name?” he decided to ask.
“Because I’m you.”
Sora tilted his head. “Huh? Now I really am confused.”
He glanced at his reflection in one of the puddles nearby. It still looked pretty much the same as it did earlier, just with more ripples because of the raindrops. How could this voice be his?
And yet, even as he thought about it, it made sense. The familiarity, the hunch that he knew this person. He would’ve recognized the heart of one of his friends immediately, and it wasn’t any of them. That must mean the voice wasn’t lying.
“I’m not the ‘you’ you are right now,” the voice explained.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“From your point of view, I’m ‘you’ from the future.”
“Oh,” Sora said as he tried to wrap his head around this information.
“I know you’re feeling down,” the voice said. “I know things are rough right now. And I’d be lying if I said you won’t face any more hardships before you make it home. Because you will, and you need to prepare yourself for them. You’ll have to face new enemies. Someone you think is a friend is gonna be an enemy, and someone you think is an enemy will actually be a friend.”
Sora’s head drooped. Things were going to get even worse from here? A friend was going to betray him? How was that supposed to make him feel any better? Hadn’t he been through enough already? He just wanted to go home to his friends. Was that really so hard to ask?
“I know all of that sounds bad, but don’t let it get you down,” the voice continued. “The night is always darkest before dawn, remember? But dawn will come. You’re gonna pull through this.”
Sora looked at his reflection in the puddle again. It looked very small and alone. “How do you know?” he asked the voice, and his voice also sounded very small and alone.
“Your heart is strong. It always has been.”
He let his Keyblade disappear. “But I’m only strong because of my friends. They gave me their strength. Without them, I—”
“Sora, take a look around you. What do you see?”
Sora sighed deeply. “I’m stuck in this city. My powers are a small fraction of what they used to be. I have to fight these monsters. And to top it all off, it’s still raining, and I’m wet and cold and I—”
“You’re right, it is raining. Do you know why?”
He kicked water onto the nearby curb. “Because the universe hates me,” he muttered with a pout.
“It’s the opposite, actually. Remember Kairi’s grandmother’s story?”
“The one where the queen of Radiant Garden cried after the king died? I was just thinking about it, actually.”
His older self sure was a winner, reminding him of sad thing after sad thing. Yikes. He hoped he wouldn’t be a complete killjoy once he grew up.
“This rain… it’s like the rain from the story,” the voice said. “Sora, this rain is the tears of our friends.”
Sora’s breath caught. No way. There was no way. He hadn’t been able to feel his connections to his friends ever since he’d come here. But was that because he hadn’t been looking in the right place?
He held his hands out as the rain continued to fall, as it dripped down his face and hair, and this time, he let it. This time, he closed his eyes and listened.
“Kairi and Riku,” he said. He could feel their hearts now as the rain fell on his outstretched arms. He could sense their pain. “Roxas and Axel and Xion, too.” This was like when he’d journeyed through the Keyblade Graveyard a second time as he’d searched for Kairi. His hearts were still connected to theirs somehow, and he could feel what they were feeling. “Terra and Aqua and Ven, Naminé, Donald and Goofy and the King.” His eyes fluttered open. “They’re all still with me. How did I not realize it?”
“Sometimes our connection to our friends doesn’t look the way we expect it to,” the voice said. “But you’re right. This is their sadness and pain because you’re gone. And they know you’re sad, too. They all miss you. Their hearts are trying to reach you, and right now, this is the only way they can.”
Sora wiped his eyes. He’d been so lost in his own pain that he’d lost sight of how his friends were doing, even though they’d been trying to reach him through the rain. He wouldn’t ignore his own sadness or pretend like everything was fine, but he couldn’t bear to make his friends cry like this, either. And they wouldn’t be okay till they’d gotten back what was lost.
“They’ll stop crying when I get home, right?” he said.
The voice chuckled. “Well, they’ll cry a lot more at first, but those will be happy tears. Then the crying will stop, yeah. And it’ll be replaced by smiling.”
“In that case, I better get back to them as soon as I can. I want to see their smiles again!”
“That’s the spirit!”
Sora smiled and nodded. “Thank you, Future Me. I know it won’t be easy, but I made a promise, and I’m gonna keep it. I will get home, no matter what. It might take a while, and I might go through a lot, but every step forward is always a step closer to home.”
The voice was gone now, but Sora knew he wasn’t alone. As much as it made him sad that his friends were grieving because he was gone, the only way to fix that was to return to them. And return to them he would, so he could make the tears stop and bring back the smiles on their faces.
For that, he would keep moving forward, one step at a time.

Kairi’s Training Prompt
-After Melody of Memory-
Tumblr media
                                              *  SPOILER WARNING *
I couldn’t stop thinking about it... I must have gotten over-confident... no, that’s not it. I feel it in my heart. I know why I said that to Riku... Even knowing I wasn’t nearly as ready to face the dangers of a... unreality world... I was just expecting Riku to say what you did.
When I first came back, you had asked if I was ready. It took me by surprise for a minute... but then, you always did.
Riku... I won’t say I’m sorry for asking to go with him, but I will say I knew and respected his honest hesitation.
With how I currently am... and with all the amazing adventures you and him have been on... I’ll keep you safe, Sora. Riku will find you, and I’ll be ready.
When the time is right, Master Aqua will tell me. I will either return to the Final World... or I’ll greet you and Riku when you get back.
But I’m not waiting any longer.
Aqua flung her keyblade up as the two were locked in a duel mid-air. Kairi, clenching her teeth, opened her mouth a moment at the realization of her next attack. Attempting to face it head on instead of her usual dodging route, she spun her keyblade around and fired off a new ranged attack she had been trying to work on.
Aqua was taking her seriously, and unleashed her powerful attack that sent a violent, rippling wave right through her spheres of light, and cut Kairi back to the ground.
As her head hit the dirt, she relived the moment in her heart, where Xehanort had revealed himself before...
As Aqua approached, Kairi’s head was still ringing, and looking up... the dark illusion of him coming towards her glitched into her reality.
“Eh.. ah..!” she shook her head, scooting back a moment as she recounted how easily he would grab her keyblade, how weak she was to try and rival a master. “No...” she gripped her hand into a tight fist by her heart, looking away from the glitching images of Aqua being replaced by Master Xehanort.
“I won’t... fall again!” She pushed off the ground, gripping her keyblade in a new way and shoving it into Aqua’s.
Aqua saw something different in Kairi... a glimmer of raw power she didn’t see before.
“This is...” Her eyes widened... seeing Sora within them. “I see now.” She smiled, and broke the tension of their two keyblades colliding, pushing Kairi back. “Looks like I’m not the only one teaching you strength.” She was glad to see that there was some influence, but couldn’t pin-point exactly why Kairi’s eyes reflected his own spirit in them...
‘They were close friends...’ she told herself, but as she quickly analyzed the battled previously, she noticed that every time she was about to mention--let’s say, Kairi’s footing--that she’d already adjust as though something was nudging her in the right direction.
“...Will lingers.” she spoke aloud, though secretly to herself, but through Kairi’s panting and waiting to see what her opponent would do... she heard it.
“What?” She broke her stance, standing upright again and out of her battle-ready position.
Aqua was looking down, remembering Terra and shook her head as Kairi snapped her out of her thoughts. “Sorry.” She gestured her with her hand towards her, “I should... make it a habit not to think too much while we’re training.” She swiped her keyblade out in front of her again, letting it rest elegantly by her side. “Where were we?”
Kairi’s eyes narrowed again, “You said... will lingers. What do you mean?”
Silence... as Aqua stared at her, wondering...
She sighed, at last, “That’s enough training for today.” Relaxing, she approached Kairi again, placing a hand on her shoulder, “We’ll get your tolerance to attacks up, lots of strength training should do it. As for stamina to keep you up during combat...” She removed the hand to then put it up to her chin, “How about a few laps around the place?”
She was cheery, and her positive but fierce training style was exactly what Kairi wanted.
“Right. A few laps.” Kairi took off, letting her keyblade fade into sparkling dusts of light.
“And no flying!” Aqua cupped her hand to the side of her mouth to make sure her voice and advice carried through the wind. With a slight inward chuckle to herself, she looked fondly after Kairi’s racing image.
“Huh?” She then blinked and scanned the image again... seeing Sora running right alongside Kairi before she looked away, shook her head, and squinted through the light of the sun.
It was just Kairi.
“...I... Hmm... Guess I still need to adjust to the light.” She amused out loud, a bad habit. Though... it didn’t concern her, her odd mirage.
She was glad to recognize some of Sora in her.
That was what she was recognizing,.. right?
After circling about a few times, Kairi looked behind her shoulder, seeing that Aqua had gone and looked off to her favorite meditative spot.
She was focused keenly in on it, a cliff that overlooked the vastness of time to her... a beautiful scenery to be alone.
Though, she wasn’t quite comfortable being alone... she was used to it.
Master Aqua has been training me for days now. Though, I know it’s only been a short time since Riku’s departure in the Final World, I feel as though I’ve gotten stronger.
Maybe I’m a fast learner. It makes me happy to think that.
...How are you, Sora? Still having amazing adventures? I just know you are. I can’t picture you being so disheartened, it’s not like you.
I have a feeling... you’re waiting this time. And don’t worry, I won’t keep you waiting nearly as long as you did me!
Sorry... that was a joke, and this time, I will admit my wrong.
I know you and Riku miss our time on Destiny Island. When we returned the first time from the Final World... do you remember what you told me?
You promised you would return.
I...
Kairi held the pen up to her cheek, as though wondering if she should say this. Pen was permeant. She sort of... wished she had brought a pencil then.
But nonetheless, she told herself, “Well, no going back now.” And happily continued in her quiet letter to Sora. A pastime she felt she needed to do now, not just for herself.
Somehow... she felt his heart could read it. And secretly... she hoped it’d give him strength.
I felt your hand tighten around mine. Though we had seen fireworks, ate sea-salt ice cream together,... even got your friend back with his. I never felt such longing before...
Maybe because you were never physically there, because our hearts were always so connected before.
But in that moment, I had never felt more away from you.
Kairi felt a tear on her cheek and quickly scraped it away, getting ink on her face, but not noticing it.
She kept writing.
Is that strange? To feel close to you when you’re away, and be so happy when we’re together at last... but then, in a moment you wanted me to feel even more so that you would always be there... I felt like your hand was saying goodbye.
I know that’s silly. You hate goodbyes. And honestly? I hate them too.
I know you wanted to comfort me, and you really did. Honest, you did.
The ink smeared across her face as her warm tears kept sliding gently but in a hurried stream down her cheek. Her wrist kept wiping them, but to no avail.
Her vision was blurry, and it made her smile even more.
I miss you. Sora, when I was reliving your past, that time I was in your heart... I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Our fates are one, now... but my fate has never been my own to choose.
I didn’t know that. Did you?
Is that why you were always chasing after me? Is that why I always got you hurt?
I know you wouldn’t say that. Not to my face, anyway. Oh, by the way, Donald and Goofy are really worried about you... But I told them you’re pint is still enough to get back to them!
Suddenly, Kairi felt that presence again... she saw herself glowing and looked at her hand, amazed as her body flashed into light.
Sora then opened his eyes, looking lovingly to the pen, and scribbled words down as quickly as he could. He had a big grin on his face, enjoying every moment of it, before nodding that he was done.
He then took his hand and wiped the remaining tears and ink on her face, carefully trying to indirectly help clean her up, and then closed his eyes again.
Kairi’s body flashed in light and she was herself again; still in a bit of shock, she looked back down at her hand with the pen in it.
“Wha...” she looked at her letter...
and covered her mouth as her eyes widened in more tears.
You know good and well I wouldn’t ever even think that, Kairi!
Even the first line blew her away. “Sora...” She laughed to herself, but noticed there was more and quickly looked over it.
“I never had a reply before...”
Your fate and mine are intertwined now, remember? I know you once forgot my name, but that’s okay. My memory was replaced by Naminé once! So I guess we’re even on that one.
She had to stop reading only to close her eyes and cry, breathing through her hand tightly clasped over her sobbing mouth.
She blinked her eyes open to see what else was written then.
My voice... and maybe even most of me might be consciously lost in another world... one of fiction and fantasy. But Kairi? No matter where I am, I know our hearts will find each other.
You’ve always been my guiding key.
She dropped the paper, covering her face and trying to compose herself. “Sora... Sora..!” She wished she could say the same thing back to him.
As the paper fell to the ground, it was suddenly swooped up by the wind, threatening to fall off the cliff.
“Ah! No!” She darted after it, reaching down at the edge as it floated in twisting turns off the cliff edge.
Determined to read the last of his message, not knowing if they could ever communicate like that again, she rushed back and took a leaping dive off the cliff.
Her hand grasped for the letter’s paper... and finally, grabbed it. “Ah-ha!” she grinned with an open mouth before gliding over the sea and turning over the trees to land safely back to the ground.
She looked to see the last of his message flapping in the newly strong wind that had picked up, seeing it say...
Look to the sky, Kairi. I promised, didn’t I? I’m coming back, and when I do, we’re gonna see all those worlds together again! This time, my hand won’t squeeze so tight... but my arms will.
“Kairi?”
Looking up from the crinkled and flapping paper in her hands, Aqua’s voice had startled her momentarily.
“O-oh, Master Aqua...” She didn’t realize...
Aqua’s hand flung up to her face in surprise, “W-...What happened to you?”
Kairi tried to look down at her cheeks, not realizing that Sora had made the mess even worse, spreading the ink all over her face...
“Ah..!” Embarrassed, she laughed and tried to get it off again. “It.. It won’t come off!” She panicked only slightly, “The wind from when I was flying must have dried it!”
“Flying? Didn’t I tell you-... ah, nevermind.” Aqua shook her head, thinking it best to put her ‘Training’ aside for a moment. “Let’s get you cleaned up.” she kindly spoke out and walked over to her, helping her to the sea so she could wash her face off.
Kairi then looked up to the sky... and swore she saw a cloud spell out... smile.

SoKai Week 2020 - Day 2 - For ____ Eyes Only
Synopsis: During the time period Kairi was within Sora’s heart, she kept a handy mental diary of all the places and people she encountered. Let’s take a peek at it, shall we?
Sneak Peek: I’ve been in Sora’s heart for a little bit as of now. It’s a nice kind of… warm, if that makes sense. Like a perfect sunny day on the Islands. Knowing what kind of person Sora is, it’s unsurprising.

Entry 1: Welcome to Sora’s Heart. Population: 1 (I think)
Sooo… This is a thing that’s happening. All because of a stupid, literal world ending storm.
Oh wait, aren’t I supposed to start with “Dear Diary”? Not like I’m physically writing in a journal since I don’t have a body anymore… Ugh, Sora and Riku would probably poke fun at me if they found out that I kept one. Well sorry that I like to be sentimental and have a way of remembering and planning our future adventures, lazy bums.
I’m getting ahead of myself, aren’t I? I’ll do this once to get it over with.
Hello there (mental) diary, my name is Kairi! I’m 14 years old and I lived on the Destiny Islands before I somehow ended up in Sora’s (my BFF and lazy bum #1) heart. That little mishap took place right after I met this weird old guy in brown robes in our Secret Place. I don’t know where Riku (my other BFF and lazy bum #2) ended up, but somehow Sora got sucked into a black hole that sent him… Or is it us? To another world called Traverse Town.
I mean the boys and I always planned to travel to other worlds, just not like this. We were supposed to travel by raft, I was supposed to have a body, and it was going to be all three of us… Okay maybe I asked Sora if he wanted to go alone with me, only to end up chickening out at the last moment, but this current situation is not what I had in mind!
Apparently these monsters called the Heartless destroyed our world, sending us to Traverse Town. I feel bad.
Sora was lost and alone. I knew because I felt it in his heart.
Luckily, Sora has met a lot of new people since arriving. There were these two girls, Aerith and Yuffie, that I would have loved to talk and meet with. Selphie definitely would have loved to meet Aerith, she was so pretty! Besides them, Sora also met this edgy guy named Leon (who kicked his butt) and a cranky old mechanic named Cid. More importantly, Sora met this talking duck and dog named Donald and Goofy. They’re pretty entertaining, so I hope they can keep Sora company since I can’t speak to him and we lost Riku.
I’ve been in Sora’s heart for a little bit as of now. It’s a nice kind of… warm, if that makes sense. Like a perfect sunny day on the Islands. Knowing what kind of person Sora is, it's unsurprising.
I just can’t shake off the feeling that there’s something… no, someone else in here.
Entry 2: Topsy? Turvy? Definitely Crazy.
Is it possible to have an out-of-body experience and a fever dream at the same time? Because that’s what Wonderland feels like.
Geez, where do I even start with this one? I guess with the talking rabbit entering the talking doorknob? Granted that rabbit was kind of cute, if not panicky. I could get used to that. Sora shrinking and entering a place full of playing card soldiers and a cat with a decapitated head (I think? He reattached it) are things that are going to take a bit to get used to.
Gosh, that feels like the understatement of the century.
I knew other worlds would be different than the islands. It’s just that going from a quiet city to a place where gravity is bonkers and playing cards can kill a person makes a girl really question what’s out there.
I wish I could take pictures so people would believe my words. Luckily this cricket named Jiminy has a journal where he keeps track of Sora’s journey. He stays safe inside Sora’s hood, so it’s sort of like we’re neighbors and journal buddies! I’d love to give him my point of view on things once I get my body back.
Oh one other thing before I forget, there was this one girl named Alice. I don’t know why, but she was giving off this really familiar aura. I couldn’t help but feel oddly drawn to her.
I feel like this won’t be the first time we come into contact with her.
Entry 3: Anyone else hear horns?
Like seriously, Sora and I both hear horns coming from this world, but neither of us have any idea as to where they’re coming from. This (extremely small) world is the Olympus Coliseum.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy got thrown into some challenges and ended up fighting waves of Heartless. Really makes me think about how I should have tried sword fighting with Sora and Riku. Sure, I’ve picked up some things by just watching them, but I think actually practicing with them would have helped me in the long run. I mean, I totally could have fought off that weird guy in the brown robes.
Ugh, just thinking about him gives me bad vibes.
Going back to the challenges, Sora totally got his butt handed to him by this guy, Cloud. It was way worse than the loss Sora took against Leon, I don’t think Cloud was holding back.
I’m thankful he didn’t finish Sora off. Partly because he’s my best friend, but also because if Sora bites the dust, then I’m also gone. It was rough seeing Sora lose again, but watching him take out a giant three-headed dog right after certainly was a sight. Although I swear I heard Hercules whisper to his little red friend, Phil, next to him that he weakened the monster.
Maybe. But since it felt like I was fighting alongside him, I’m not ready to count Sora out just yet. He’s grown so much stronger day after day.
Entry 4: Note to Self, Never Let Sora Drive
You know, if the three of us did leave on that raft as planned, I always had a feeling that Sora might fight with Riku over where to take us. Sora’s never been one for his directional skills, that was always more Riku’s forte. Because of this, I always mentally prepared myself for the event where Sora would get us super lost.
WHAT I DIDN’T MENTALLY PREPARE MYSELF WAS FOR SORA TO CAUSE A GIANT SPACESHIP TO CRASH BECAUSE HE ARGUED WITH A TALKING DUCK!!!
That’s not even where it ends! This Deep Jungle is nuts! There’s a leopard that’ll attack you like every five steps, there was a giant Heartless that turned invisible, and Sora even got a gun fired at it! Granted that last one was because of some hunter jerk with a stupid mustache, but if he’s from this world, he’s part of the problem.
The only saving grace was the fact that there are giant tree trunks that act like slides and as many vines to swing on as I wanted to. Tarzan has got to give me some tips when I have the chance to meet him, it was like he was flying through the trees! I’d honestly enjoy the chance to talk to Jane myself as well. She seems so smart and would have so much to talk about. I think she’d make pleasant conversation. That being said, when she showed Sora a picture of a castle in the slideshow, I couldn’t shake this sense of… familiarity. Like I had seen it or something like it before. But where…?
Even though this world and I got off on the wrong foot, once I get my body back, I’m definitely making Sora bring me here so I can do all that!
Although I still have no idea how that’s gonna happen.
Entry 5: I don’t know why, but this place feels oddly familiar
Today may have just been one of the best days I’ve had since I’ve been living in Hotel Sora’s Heart, over here!
For starters, dogs. Sooooo many dogs! Leon told Sora about all of these Dalmatian puppies that got scattered across the various worlds. They’ve been taking the time to rescue all 101 of them, and they’re absolutely adorable! Ahhhhhh, I can only imagine playing with everyone one of them.
Secondly, I’m finding Traverse Town a lot more comforting than I originally did. Something about the tall building walls makes me feel nostalgic. I never was from the Islands to begin with, but where I originally came from is a mystery to me. I don’t think it was Traverse Town, but maybe it was another city. I’m sure that in travelling to other worlds, I might be able to remember more!
Today I even got to talk to Sora a little bit, albeit by accident, when he and his friends wandered into this old tower. I looked around and said to myself that it reminds me of the Secret Place, all dark and surrounded by stone. I never expected Sora to hear or see me! I had so much more to say, but when this wizard guy showed up, Sora couldn’t hear me anymore.
But that’s not even the best news: Right after, Sora ended up running into Riku! He’s safe! It was brief, Riku ended up disappearing moments after, but now we know he’s out there and can protect himself. Sora was even able to protect Riku from one of the Heartless!
Never thought I’d see that day where the roles were switched. It suits Sora.
Entry 6: I hate sand.
I may find not having a body to be a major inconvenience, but for once I’m quite pleased at the fact considering Agrabah, the world Sora and his friends just left, was full of sand.
At its worst, sand was rough, coarse, and irritating. It already got into my clothes back on the Islands, but around here I’d imagine it gets everywhere.
That being said, this world has got to be one of the most adventurous we’ve been to so far! Desert temples filled with treasure, magical genies, all in a faraway kingdom? It’s like all the games Sora, Riku, and I used to play when we were younger. If only Riku joined with Sora back in Traverse Town, he would have loved this!
One odd thing though, we ran into another woman, Princess Jasmine, who gave me the same vibes as Alice! Turns out she’s more than just a regular old princess, but one with special powers. I wonder what it could all mean...
Entry 7: Did you know that the stomach would eat itself without the mucus lining its walls?
Back on the Islands when Sora, Riku, and I made plans to leave on the raft, we always wondered what kind of animals we’d see. The one that would always pop into our minds was a whale since they might be big enough to swallow us whole.
We always laughed it off and went back to working or playing, so actually getting swallowed whole by one feels very ironic. It’s a lot grosser than I thought it would be. Smells like fish everywhere you go, so I really hope Sora, Donald, and Goofy take some showers once they leave.
This whale named Monstro even swallowed this old man and his son, Gepetto and Pinnochio. The latter is somehow a walking, talking puppet!
But what’s even crazier is that out of all the worlds, Riku shows up here, only to kidnap Pinnochio! And not just that, I think he knows where my body is. Geez, Riku was being a real jerk about it, though. Said that Sora was fooling around and not helping, when I know for a fact that he’s doing more that Riku has! I mean, I’m in the guy’s heart, that’s gotta count for something!
I wish I could tell Riku that all this time, Sora has been protecting me. I know I give him a hard time every now and then, but out of all the people in the world, I’m really glad I ended up in his heart.
Entry 8: Rival Redhead Acquired
I know that my last entries make me seem like a jealous person, but mental diary, trust me when I say that I’m not usually one to be envious of others.
Until now.
Being in Sora’s heart, I sort of get a feel for his emotions. By all means, even without being inside him, Sora is pretty much an open book to begin with. It’s just that in being directly connected to his heart, I can feel almost every emotion he has. That includes the mess of emotions he felt when he came into contact with this mermaid named Ariel.
Yup, a mermaid. Atlantica is full of them.
It’s a pretty cool world! There are sunken pirate ships, an underwater kingdom, even a giant sea witch that Sora defeated! But nope, the thing that makes Sora’s heart flutter is another red head when he already has one right here! Ughhh, I’m really glad this diary isn’t physical, I might die if Sora or Riku ever found out I think stuff like this.
Still, Ariel isn’t a bad person so it’s not that I dislike her. She also loves adventure and wants to see other worlds. Moving past my jealousy, I think I’d love to be friends with her some day. Ariel and I are similar, but I think I at least have something over her.
Sometimes when Sora talks about me, he gets this squeezing feeling in his heart. Now I’m not gonna let Sora or Riku tease me over my feelings, I’m sure gonna tease Sora about his once I get my body back.
Entry 9: A lot more tricks than treats!
Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. I enjoy going around to houses and getting candy, but I enjoy scaring Sora even more so. I mean, I definitely did that outside of Halloween, it’s just that the holiday made it feel special.
Needless to say, Sora finding a world exclusively dedicated to it is probably one of the best things I’ve ever found out! When Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrived, they even got special outfits to blend in! With Sora being a vampire, I could see Riku being a werewolf, but when it comes to me, I can’t choose between being a witch or a scarecrow.
There are even monsters! There was a talking skeleton who was surprisingly nice, a mad doctor, and a giant living sack of bugs! (It was super gross when he was defeated.) Sora got a bit squirmy when he died, so I really wish I was there to double down and make Sora sora yell out loud!
I definitely want to go to Halloween Town when all of this is said and done.
Entry 10: I miss candy…
So Halloween Town was fun for the thrills and chills, but felt severely lacking in candy. I may be a disembodied heart without a body, but my heart aches for something sweet! Which is why the 100 Acre Wood was torture for me.
Pooh Bear and I would get along. He loves honey, I love candy, it’s like we’re two peas in a pod. I too would probably get myself stuck inside a tree if I was desperate enough for a sweet snack.
Pooh’s other animal friends are all so cuddly and adorable! Out of the cutest, I’d have trouble choosing between Piglet or Roo. Tigger reminds me of the stuffed animals I keep in my room. Part of me really wants to hold onto him and see if he can bounce around with me on it, like a pogo stick! When it comes to Eeyore, in all honesty I kind of just want to give him a hug...
Honestly this place is a nice change of pace. No Heartless to be found, it’s always a clear and sunny day out. When it’s night time there aren’t any clouds so you can see all the stars in the sky. I remember all the stories that Sora used to tell me about the constellations instead of learning how to find his way with them. That was more Riku’s job.
I’m glad to know that what I’m feeling when I look up at the sky, Sora is feeling the same. Take your time and relax, you’ve earned it.
Entry 11: It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Sora, Donald, and Goofy!
Forget swinging through trees, forget playing with countless puppies, and forget scaring Sora, when I get my body back, I’m making Sora take me to Neverland so I can fly up high in the skies!
Wait no Kairi, focus, there are more pressing things at matter. Mainly, Riku has become a full on jerk, has sided with the Heartless, and is dragging my lifeless body around with him! I mean, my eyes were open, but my body was basically a ragdoll without me in it. I mean on the brightside, Sora was absolutely brimming with joy when he realized my body was safe.
That may or may not have made me feel an indescribable amount of joy and embarrassment, mind you.
I mentioned having an out of body experience in Wonderland, but having a literal one felt even weirder. When Sora got close enough it was possible for me to twitch my hand a little, sort of like I was reconnecting with my body. Sucks that it ended up being dragged away, I was this close to getting it back. What sucks even more is that Riku ended up fleeing to this Hollow Bastion place with it.
Still it wasn’t all bad. Body or not, I was still able to fly around with Sora. He doubted that I’d believe him if he told me.
I don’t think he’d believe me if I told him what I’ve been up to in his heart.
Entry 12: Riku…
I’m back in my body. I wish it was as simple as Sora making contact with it, but things took a turn for the worse this time around.
I need to start from the beginning.
Right before we reached Hollow Bastion, Sora was able to connect with me. He awoke a memory of mine that I’d long forgotten since I came to the island: my favorite story that my grandmother would always tell me. Remembering it gave me this warm feeling, one that intensified when we arrived at Hollow Bastion.
Only to have that feeling crushed when Riku took the Keyblade from Sora.
I’m glad Sora was able to get it back and knock some sense into Riku, but for a moment Sora really felt at his lowest. Sora was able to become his old self again, but deep in his heart was so much hurt at the fact that he lost Riku to the darkness. Not just any darkness, but from this man named Ansem. He was the one who revealed I was inside Sora’s  heart. Sora was able to beat the possessed Riku, but in the end he made a sacrifice I don’t think I could ever pay him back for.
Losing Sora in my arms made me feel even more useless than I did while I was inside his heart. Interestingly enough, when my heart left Sora’s body, I felt another leave as well. It wasn’t like Sora’s heart, but certainly had similar vibes to it.
Regardless, somehow I was able to bring him back from being a Heartless, but the feeling of losing him in my arms like that is something I don’t want to experience again.
We ended up leaving Hollow Bastion shortly after that. When Sora and I were alone, I was finally able to tell Sora that I was with him the entire time. I had so much I wanted to tell him, but there wasn’t enough time in the world. Not to mention all the unfinished business we had back at Hollow Bastion. I wanted to come with Sora, but he was right. It is dangerous, and as much as I didn’t want to admit it, I didn’t really have any ways to protect myself...
I gave Sora my lucky charm. Wherever he goes, I’ll be there with him.
At least, that’s what I keep telling myself.
Entry 13: For Our Eyes Only
Hi there diary, this might be the last time I update this formerly mental journal.
Sora’s gone off on another adventure to save Riku. He saved all of the worlds, but wasn’t able to save his best friend. If I was in Sora’s shoes, which I might as well have been, I would have done the same thing for either of them. As for me, I’m back on the islands safe and sound. Part of me wanted to jump across the darkness and into Sora’s arms once more. But after fighting for so long to keep me safe, I think the best I can do for Sora is to let this one wish come true.
I know he’ll come back for me. After all, he still needs to give me back my lucky charm. And when he does, I’ll make sure to give him this handwritten diary to help him understand just exactly what I went through on this adventure. No…
Our adventure.
---
When I started this fic, I was honestly thinking about dropping it and starting from scratch with a new idea. Quite frankly, I’m glad I decided to keep at it. I’m pretty proud of the result and feel that I’ve made a somewhat creative little oneshot!
Once again, thank you to the Sokai: Destined Oath Discord server for introducing me to SoKai Week 2020! Special thanks to the server member Gee for acting as my Beta Reader.
Thanks for Reading!

Okay *Demyx voice* Arendelle time!
Poor Sora😂
That gust of snow just moves in and he's like "Coat! Please! I'm an islander!"
Donald just shrugs it off like "That's not how it works. Go and freeze."
This is where I bring up the "kh3 is self aware thing" again because now we actually have Sora dying from the snowy area, and then when Sora just like completely forgets about it, Donald and Goofy are like, "Islander my butt. He's not even feeling it anymore, is he?"
Sora getting the first puzzle piece to the situation when Elsa runs away, a sad look on her face. Y'know, the beginning of that Riku to Elsa and Sora to Anna parallel, Elsa running away because Anna and the whole Kingdom are better off without her
Elsa: *uses magic*
Sora, Donald, and Goofy: *surprised pikachu face and slightly fearing for their lives*
If I'm remembering correctly, there's a section right here where you basically fight a bunch of enemies in the huge area
I distinctly remember running around, (and Xion could vouch for this) fighting the enemies, and very monotonely voicing that I was about to die
So...ice maze.
In my proud runthrough I really had to get to a save point so I zoomed through the ice maze as fast as possible. This time I took the time to explore every room and beat all the enemies. I still hate light rails with a passion.
So, the avalanche gets started at the top once we reach the palace, pushing Sora, Donald, and Goofy off
I... The ice dragon thing was so bad. I spent forever, dying and dying and dying to their stupid laser beams. It happened so many times that I had to go to bed and try it again the next day. I would get to the part where all three flew in the air and shot beams, and it felt so unpredictable and stupid and impossible because I would dodge beams from two, and the third's would appear right under where I was landing, which was impossible to judge. It was here I learned a lesson: Use the Kupo Coin when you need it
Bless the kupo coin for saving my stupid butt
The sled part after that stressed me out cause it wasn't hard, but I had a bad habit of bumping into things, so...😂
I pretty much just abused shotlocks, ultimate form, light form/double form okp, and thunder or thundara or whichever I had at the time and I finished those dragons off
Spiky brown grass 😂😂😂😂
Poor Sora is so frustrated that he didn't get a color like green or blue like Donald and Goofy
The part where Anna talks to Sora about Elsa and he finally puts some pieces together and relates it to him and Riku really gets me every time because their situation is a big Soriku parallel. I know this is one of the scenes that's probably been soriku analyzed to death, but like
Elsa and Anna used to play all the time when they were really little like best friends
Baby Sora and Riku, best friends, used to play together all the time
One day, Elsa shuts Anna out because she doesn't want to hurt her
Kairi enters the scene, Sora starts paying a little more attention to her, Sora and Riku's duo relationship isn't terrible, it just does a little decrease. The literal shutting out in which Riku and Sora close the Door to Darkness. Then, the shutting out when Sora wakes up in kh2 and Riku alienates himself because of his guilt over what he did, and what leads into the next part of the parallel
Elsa accidentally uses her ice magic and flees the kingdom to the north mountain. She alienates herself so she can't hurt anyone (especially Anna) and because she thinks the kingdom and Anna are better off without her
Riku feels like he can't win without using the power of darkness and is weak. He is ashsmed that he relied on darkness and it showed in his appearance as Ansem. He alienates himself from Sora and everyone because he feels like he can't show his face as Ansem and because he thinks Sora is better off without him.
Sora, of course, puts these pieces together with Anna's story and makes the parallel connection between him and Anna, then Elsa and Riku in his head. I like how he says, "If anyone can help her, it's you," because I feel like that's him remembering his situation with Riku when he wanted to find him and that because of the reason for Riku's actions, only he could help.
And I think it's interesting that it's first Anna saying "I have to bring her home" and then Sora saying "I'm sure she knows now much you love her" for him to make these parallels. I think that implies that Sora gets that Elsa and Anna are siblings that love each other and he's thinking over what Riku means to him and even what he means to Riku.
Also Sora (in jap ver dialogue) realizing that maybe Riku pushed him away because he's someone precious to Riku is like...
My heart bro...
Ngl, so many times here I moved up the mountain fighting enemies and died that I'd go halfway up the mountain, then backtrack all the way back to the save so I wouldn't have to keep completely starting over every time I got oneshotted by an armored body. I did that multiple times for this area.
So, we get to the point where Sora finally reaches the top of the mountain again. For whatever reason I couldn't remember if it was like that before, but the Elsa freezing Anna's heart scene and it flashing between that and Sora, and then Sora holding a hand to his heart in pain right after we see the shot of Elsa putting ice into Anna's heart.
I think it's a parallel and Nomura's tryna tell us/foreshadow something
Okay, so big oof on the Marshmallow fight. I think on my proud run I got a bunch of times to use the team attack with the tree. I swear I only got to use it twice counted up from all my attempts on this run
The suckiest part was armored mode. I did a lot of trying to let Donald and Goofy do the work here cause I didn't wanna get oneshotted, but that didn't always quite work out... I eventually did it though, snd of course Sora, Donald, and Goofy are knocked off the mountain again
Idk how mant times I'm gonna keep saying this, but poor Sora. He's just so done and frustrated. "I could do this a hundred times."
And then Donald and Goofy both take him seriously 😂
"Please don't."
"Yeah, we should do it again!"
Awwww, Marshmallow. He just wanted to protect Elsa. I know that's what he was created to do, but that's still sweet
Sweet Sora boy making friends with anything that moves and we love him for it
Marshmallow made my life with enemies a little easier ngl
At the save point right before seeing Kristoff, I did some meteorite farming in gummi space and took a trip to the bistro. By this point I had excellents on all but 3 dishes because I didn't have the ingredients yet.
Also, by this point I was blessed with adorable remmy and Sora getting presents. Remmy got his own tiny present!
Tumblr media
And I'm sure you know this already, but like...I have a soriku obsession right now, so I enjoy making things into little personal Soriku references
Exhibit A: My gummi and Teeny Ships
They are both named after Yozora and contain the colors for Sora, Riku, and Yozora
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, so back in Arendelle, Sora, Donald, and Goofy temporarily leave Marshmallow behind, and we come upon Kristoff and another Soriku parallel
Kristoff: "No, Sven! We're not going back. She's with her true love."
Riku: "You mean Kairi. To Sora, she's someone very special."
Sora: "Where'd Anna go?"
Kristoff: "She's back at home."
Sora: "Something happen?"
Kristoff: "Anna was struck in the heart by Elsa's ice magic. If the ice isn't removed, she'll freeze forever. Only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart. So I took her back to Arendelle and to her true love, Hans."
Xion: "Do you know where Sora is now?"
Riku: "That secret stays with me."
Xion: "Why's that?"
Riku: "Xion...your memories...they really belong to Sora."
Xion: "So you mean...I'm like a part of him?"
Riku: "When his memories were scattered, some of them...found their way inside you. Now, Sora has been put to sleep so that we can piece together his memory."
Sora: "But...what about you?"
Kristoff: "What about me?"
Sora: "Uh, I sorta assumed you guys were..."
Kristoff: "Nooo! I just keep her from getting lost."
Xion: "So, do you hate me for taking your friend away from you?"
Riku: "Nah, I guess...I'm just sad.
Sora: "Really? Oh, but you seem so..."
Goofy: "Perfect together!"
Donald: "Yeah, like me and Daisy!"
So let's talk this over.
Point one, both assumptions on who the person in question's (Sora and Anna) true love/most important person is. This may have to do in part with some surface level stuff and Kristoff/Riku's anxiety that the person in question (Anna and Sora) probably doesn't like them like that.
Point two, the person in question has had something bad happen to them such as their memories being "erased" or their heart being frozen, needing some sort of action to save that person.
Point three, neither Riku nor Kristoff factor their feelings into the situation, Kristoff because he just feels the duty to save Anna and doesn't believe he is her true love, and Riku because he feels the duty to save Sora snd similarly does not believe himself to be Sora's special person (which didn't exactly factor in in Riku's case, but it's true he too pushed his feelings aside in all areas except saving Sora).
Point four, "I just keep [him] from getting lost" is totally something Riku or Sora would say about the other.
Point five, I added the last part because despite the insistence that Hans is Anna's true love, Sora, Donald, and Goofy agree that it seems Anna and Kristoff are perfect together, and it especially helps to know that on their side, they've seen that Anna and Kristoff work well together. They haven't seen her with Hans, and even in the movie, she and Hans don't get much screentime development. This is a parallel more to the soriku experience. On our side, we see Sora and Riku get a lot of screentime and development together, and it's clear that they care for each other. So when someone, even in game, insists that Kairi is most important to Sora, it feels like, "Oh, but Sora and Riku seem perfect together" and "But Kairi and Sora don't really get development like that or really much screentime together."
So, resuming the story (and the parallel), there's a gust of wind amd Kristoff looks towards Arendelle. He obviously feels something is wrong and says Anna's name before rushing off. I'm being completely honest, we've seen Riku too rush off, feeling that Sora's in danger. Prime example I remember though would be in the keyblade graveyard when Riku just gets a feeling and runs over to Sora, giving him a pep talk sorta just before everyone else gets swept up.
So, Marshmallow too, just like Kristoff, feels something is wrong, and gestures in the direction of Arendelle, saying Elsa's name, and the group is off to save Elsa and Anna.
And then, another parallel! Yes, Arendelle is Soriku parallel city over here!
Before Hans' sword reaches Elsa
Before the demon tide reaches Sora and Riku
Anna stands between the sword and Elsa
Riku stands between the demon tornado and Sora
Anna puts her right hand out to block the blow
Riku thrusts the keyblade in his right hand forward, directing the darkness around him and Sora into a tunnel
Anna completely turns to ice and saves Elsa, an act of true love
Riku attempts to save Sora at the expense of his own life, an act of true love, and is swallowed by the darkness
Anna gives one clear final breath
Riku gives one clear final breath
Elsa, alive due to her sister's act of true love, realizes the power of love and is able to save/unfreeze Anna
Sora's heart and body persist, arriving in the final world, his heart likely persisting due to Riku's act of true love, and his body due to Kairi, and he believes in himself and is able to go save Riku's heart
Just...ya know...food for thought...
And now, boss battle time! I believe I didn't have too much trouble on it when I dodged correctly. I beat it fine. One of my favorite shots I saw though was Sora using subzero impact with Ultima, but his clothes were the formchange color because I had just hit Ultima form right before. It was literally so epic!!
No, Marshmallow! You can't die this way! I need you to battle things for me-! Uh, I mean, you need to be alive because we care about you!
Just kidding Marshmallow! I love you and you're actually a nice snow giant with a big heart!
Cue Sora getting the example of the power of true love when Anna unfreezes.
THE PRETTY ANIMATION
Pretty animation Sora, I looooove you
Poor boy caring so much about everyone. He just wants to keep everyone safe.
And after Elsa gives another demonstration of the power of love, Arendelle is over.
