Bad Boys Band au

ill give it a better name later, but i had this idea for an au that is heavily inspired by this post. basically, the bad boys are all young adults in their early twenties who come together and form a band. thats the gist. there are so many more complex subplots and stuff i have in mind but thats the basics. i quick typed up very short summaries for each of them in google docs to hopefully very briefly explain

now, if this turns out to actually be a cool idea and not just me being sleep deprived, ill write a fanfic about it. but i want anyone and everyone's input: is this something you'd like to read?? even if you dont follow me, please respond with criticism and such. <333

I’ve been wanting to reopen commissions soon but I rly need to make new examples, maybe try to figure out what ppl are most interested in (I think my most commissioned items are always icons, so? Those will be included) and what I can do…I also want to refigure my prices. Like I do want them to be affordable, and I do love drawing for ppl, but I also want to make sure I have the bandwidth + time for them and also feel like I’m being compensated properly since I do have a job now so they would be the Side Thing aaa TwT

but I’m finally at a place where I feel like. Not burnt out after every week and I’m in a nice routine now and pretty used to my job, so I feel like I can handle more on the side. Very excited abt that. Not excited abt making new examples or figuring out what I wanna offer etc tho I hate the logistics of commissions. Part of me wants to do a pay what u want thing with a set minimum and maybe start exclusively offering them thru kofi since it’s so easy, but we’ll see!!

I look to maybe open them around June so like. If anyone is interested, I’d love to hear what kind of stuff u guys would want? 🤨

hi, big hug 🩷 im sorry you feel like a "writing machine" or unappreciated for your works. i understand the whole "high effort with little reward" and i often feel like people online can start to expect things out of others, often forgetting that it isnt bots running these accounts, its humans. i appreciate you, even if i say it a lot less now. i think working full time and going to school is super draining, i do it too and i often find myself relaxing by reading (including your works) i cant imagine the amount of planning and effort that goes into writing big pieces like you do, but i promise to try to put a bigger effort into appreciating you when i can ✨

that said - if you do decide to write cmi, i cant promise that itll get the same hype it used to (god i miss old tumblr too 😭) but i hope you know that at least one person will enjoy and appreciate the crap out of your work 🙏 i love you always, take a moment to breathe in the sun today (i say this to my students and it made me giggle writing it out to you, but i do hope you try it)❤️

reading junky by burroughs has been interesting but by far the most interesting thing that’s happened is a sequel to this story. basically she was having students read passages aloud, and for some reason picked a section that had the word fag written in it...a lot. no one raised their hand until the guy from the last post....i watched him do this: he glanced down at the page, read it, and immediately raised his hand. it’s like he saw the opportunity to say fag without consequences and jumped on it. he was like excited
