I'll be back soon but will most likely just jump right into chapter 3 whenever that 'soon' is because it's been a while and the whole point of 2.5 was to introduce the other spirit matter gang which I kinda sorta did so yeah lol))

Quincy: "As for how long it'd take to get there...I'm not sure. I've been trying to pinpoint your location, but all I've got is that it's somewhere remote out in space in the Main Realm. Tracking down specific coordinates across Realms is tricky..."

Quincy: "Besides, I thought Morpho Knight only appeared to cast judgement on people. ...But I'm not sure. I'm not a religious person myself..."

((anyway just letting you guys know the update 'schedule' (there never was one) is probably gonna slow down for a little bit so you'll have to wait longer between posts, hope that's not too much of an issue & no idk how long 'a little bit' is))

Why didn't you guys try getting a piece of the jamba heart explicitly so Void Termina couldn't be ressurected by anyone? Have you tried gathering artifacts that COULD stand up against Termina, or at least help in doing so?

Quincy: "Well, sor-ry that my first assumption wasn't just 'I bet he went to revive'--"

Suddenly, Beatrice stepped in.

Beatrice: "It's not doing us any good, so stop it!"

Beatrice: "The three of us are all quite powerful in our own rights. Plus, at the end of the day...we know Ester really well, more so than anyone else could. So if anyone can find a way to talk it out with him, it's us. I'd rather not resort to putting him in harm's way, so that would be more of a last resort. As for the details...well, it's hard to predict exactly what will happen, so...we should just be prepared for anything."

Why did you choose NOW to butt in? Why not follow the death cultists that can ABSOLUTELY destroy the world 99% of the time?

Quincy: "Besides, how was I supposed to know he was working with these 'death cultists'? It's not like he told us anything useful. All we've known for a long time is that he wants power--there's loads of powerful deities and artifacts in the Main Realm, and even beyond. It's like finding a needle in an astronomically large haystack, and constantly finding Nothing upon Nothing is just...I'm kind of at my wit's end here. Cut me and the others some slack, ok? ...Oh, and I saw what you said about some 'long hallway'. I was hoping you could be more precise. You seem to know what's been happening, so surely you'd have more information, right?"

They paused, sighing.

Quincy: "...Sorry. I'm not trying to be rude. This is just...a lot more than you realize, and now that I know Void Termina's involved...I really don't work well under this much pressure, huh..."

A few seconds passed, and then...

(Note: Abbadon is selectively mostly mute and won't answer the questions verbally, but he can still be asked them. And yes I know it's not the traditional/more common spelling, it's like that on purpose.)

You must have knowledge of Ester, then. Have YOU thought of anything to do in case Termina was revived by him? No one else has, and they're fighting all three of them right now.

Quincy: "Of course, he never mentioned where he was going...I'm not sure he even knew at the time. Really, all he said he was that he was going to search for some sort of power on his own. ...The point is, the last time we did see him, it was on really bad terms. I mean...we'd all like to help, but...if he's revived Void Termina, which...I didn't think he even could, then...I'm not sure what to do. I...might need to go tell the others. Maybe we could stand a chance if we work together? Or, well...we could at least talk with him again...try to make him see reason...but it'd be difficult...he's always been so stubborn once he's made his mind up on something..."

They sighed, pausing.

Quincy: "...Sorry. You didn't really need to hear all of that, huh? ...I guess I'm still upset over what happened. I feel bad...and partially responsible...but that's not the point. ...Do you...know where this is all happening?"

Ester and Javez revived Void Termina, somehow. Shouldn't Void be in his next incarnation by now, since Termina was defeated by Kirby?

Quincy: "You're telling me he teamed up with some guy named Javez and revived the God of Destruction?! Wait, how did you even know I was talking about Ester? I never mentioned his name--and who's 'Javez' anyway? This is so much worse than I thought--did they force Void into a new reincarnation? How did they even--I have so many questions...!"

They seemed to be panicking slightly.

There was the sound of a few buttons being pressed before the static faded away.

Quincy: "...Anyway, um...as for why I'm contacting you, it's...rather important, actually. Um, I think...I think Main Realm is in danger, and...well, I have a hunch that he might be involved...do you know what's going on at the moment?"

W-wait! Flamberge! Come back! Don't just rush in! We don't know what's in there! Not even me! Come baaack! -☘

Flamberge didn't listen to Clover, instead making it to the large door and pushing it open with as much strength as she could muster. The others caught up with her quickly, and they all had to momentarily shield their eyes from a bright light.

But when the light faded...

Their eyes widened at the scene in front of them. It was nothing like any of them had expected. Not only was Void Termina revived, but...

...Ester and Javez had transformed.

((aaaaa!! I've been wanting to show off these new forms for a long time, at least a month, but squishing them on a small canvas was a little tricky, so there will be full ref sheets under the cut! oh and negative kirby is in transformed javez's ref sheet in the corner lol. yes I got permission to do this and I'm very hyped to show you more of them but there's also more important never before seen original characters of mine that will appear in the intermission chapter! I know I know it's kinda a big cliffhanger but trust me it's important. It's gonna introduce more lore along with the new characters, and they'll appear in the future too. but yeah, full refs for transformed ester & transformed javez, along with a chapter 2 full art poster type thing I made last month, is all under the cut! this post is too long already lol))
