I’ve been wanting to reopen commissions soon but I rly need to make new examples, maybe try to figure out what ppl are most interested in (I think my most commissioned items are always icons, so? Those will be included) and what I can do…I also want to refigure my prices. Like I do want them to be affordable, and I do love drawing for ppl, but I also want to make sure I have the bandwidth + time for them and also feel like I’m being compensated properly since I do have a job now so they would be the Side Thing aaa TwT

but I’m finally at a place where I feel like. Not burnt out after every week and I’m in a nice routine now and pretty used to my job, so I feel like I can handle more on the side. Very excited abt that. Not excited abt making new examples or figuring out what I wanna offer etc tho I hate the logistics of commissions. Part of me wants to do a pay what u want thing with a set minimum and maybe start exclusively offering them thru kofi since it’s so easy, but we’ll see!!

I look to maybe open them around June so like. If anyone is interested, I’d love to hear what kind of stuff u guys would want? 🤨

Ok, but Shen Jiu being Shen Yuan's father is so funny in a very tragic way. Shen Jiu is a ball of traumas and all types of issues and i truly believe there's not a single one that man doesn't have, so, you give him a baby!Shen Yuan, a little ball of life that depends on him for survival, cannot walk away from him and is culturally wired to pretty much love him and if not, to at the least respect him above all else, you cannot tell me that this man would be normal about him. Also, imagine Shen Jiu, who'd be the type of parent to project traumas the way only a mother could, having a child that looks like him but with a "sweeter" personality (which, by the way, is bullshit, they just have never seen that boy rip into a book he disliked but wouldn't stop reading) that has the effect on men Shen Yuan has, he'd lock that boy up in a tower to "cultivate" and consequently create a rumor about the Qing Jing's beauty who was so bewitching their peak lord father locked them in a tower because that's just his luck. Loving Shen Yuan wouldn't fix him, but it'd create a whole new set of issues that'd cancel out the other ones

Imagine our dear Captain pining for his personal assistant who- really doesn't do much- handles some of his paperwork because he's often on the field.

Poor Capitano because his romantic advances fly over his PA's head because you're too oblivious </3. But it's fine, he's a patient man. He'll play the long game.

But oh, even a patient gentleman like him has his limits. He wants nothing more than to hold you close and call you his 😇

It's only natural for each Harbinger to have their own personal assistant(s), and when you were assigned to Capitano, you were expected to be swimming in a truckload of work, but... surprisingly enough, the Captain was quite gentlemanly and strict about your working habits. I love that this is a fight where Cass uses her strategic skills, we don't get to see that often, usually just her punching someone, which is cool and all, but I love that they got creative this time around because they KNEW Cass was out of her game.

Which by the way, this is how you show Cass fighting someone she knows would wreck her 1 on 1, she ALWAYS knows how she could potentially win a fight.

this one bird on my block sings a different song in the morning and at night:

in the morning it sings a high note, sings a lower note, and then sings a lowest note, which it follows with a vibrato at the same pitch

at night it sings a low note and then sings two of the same high note, which it follows with a vibrato at the same pitch

in theory they could be different birds, but the three notes followed with a vibrato of the last (and the general sound of the notes) makes them seem like the same bird to me. interesting!
