Loves to pet and cuddle wolfie and died of embarrassment when she found out it was Twi.

Legend: Rat man. Nyru doesn’t mind his snarky attitude (though sometimes comments may hurt) and can actually have playful banter, but for the most part, she lets it slide. She likes to talk and ask him about magic. Likes to get him flustered. Any soft moments with him are greatly treasured.

Warriors: Wary of him at first. Military man? Can’t be good… but he is. Pretty boy gets her flustered. All over him for his field medic training. They share tips. He’s probs the one that can teach her small things to keep herself safe if there’s a fight. Probs bond over soldiers betraying them/being shit.

Wild: As the most prone to injury, Nyru is all over him all the time, asking him to stop being reckless... but will most likely join him on shield surfing and be equally reckless. Nyru is an ok cook, she likes to sit by him and learn. Especially potion making. Man can’t leave the pot unattended, she’s throwing random shit in there to make things (mostly dubious in nature). Will try to braid his hair.

Hyrule: Healing magic? All over him. Asking how he does it, how it works. Probs share lots of talks. Likes to go exploring with him as long as it’s not deep in a cave… she probs tried to pretend it was totes ok the first time… until they ran into a skulltula… Rulie had to fight it w Nyru clinging to him and crying. Probs bond over fairies.

Sky: Cliche? Probably. Do I care? No. Absolute cuddle buddies. Seeks him out for it. Nyru doesn’t have great stamina either, so she hangs back with him. Finds out he just jumped off sky islands? Why, how, teach me. The group pillows. Both kind but scary when pissed (though Sky can do more damage).

Wind: They pull pranks together. A weird mix of big sister yet also kinda parental? He probs also finds funny just how easily she can pickpocket things. They see how many things they can take from the others before getting caught (tho they probs don’t mess with Time’s or Legend’s stuff cuz that’s scary) Two gremlins.

Four: Man works with fire and metal, she probs finds that scary but fascinating. Though he’s a very skilled blacksmith, she’s still fussing over checking him for burns. Probs the braincell for her too.

“Come with us, they said. It will be fun, they said.”, you mumbled to yourself as you stood there. Awkward. Alone. Ignored. Too afraid the tiny bar stools would collapse underneath your big ass, hence why you chose to rather stand than sit.

Why did you let yourself get dragged into this group date? You wanted to say no in the beginning, but with your friends pestering you, you kind of agreed in the end. Though now, you knew all too well why you didn’t want to come.

As a chubby and very tall man, you weren’t the type that people, or rather, gay men, drooled over. At least you hadn’t had anyone show interest in you like that. Maybe it was because you were rather shy and thus not as loud as many of your fellow male friends, or you were the “wrong chubby”. Whatever it was, you were not attractive. Society made sure to tell you that at least once a day and sometimes those nice and kind people, not, were even going out of their way to tell you what a nuisance your were with your tall, fat ass taking up space. And in Japan, where everything was not really built to accommodate people like you, it was sometimes very hard to fit into things.

While you were sighing to yourself for the nth time and making sure to put yourself down as much as you could, you certainly didn’t realize how someone was always glancing at you. Hawks was one of the four gay men you and your friends had met today for said group date. Ever since he saw you, he had the urge to talk to you and get to know you. You were so tall and handsome and t h i c k. You could probably swing him around and break him like a toothpick. Just thinking about it made him grin.

However, it almost seemed like you had a shield around you he just couldn’t break through. He could guess why. Not only once had he seen people bullying the ones that didn’t fit the norm. Too fat, too skinny, too small, too tall – there was no end. People always found reasons to put others down. With how you stood there all alone, trying to make yourself as small as possible, Kei understood you tried to hide and you were uncomfortable. Even though you literally had nothing to hide. God, he wished he had met you sooner.

“Oiii Ta-ka-mi-san!”, his thoughts were rudely interrupted.

“What are you staring at Takami-san?”, then one of your friends, who was obviously interested in him, looked in the direction as well.

“Ah. [Your.name], huh? He’s like a car accident, right? You don’t wanna look but you also can’t really look away.”, your ‘friend’ laughed and Kei could have not been more disgusted by that behavior.

“God I wish I could just punch you, you fucking idiot!”, Keigo thought, furious and having to gulp down the anger.

Thus, he just smiled a little before he silently stood up to walk over to you, ignoring the calling of your ‘friend’. Instead, he got all nervous all of a sudden. Normally, he was the one being confessed to, not the one confessing or even initiating a conversation. Takami was used to people fawning over him, he was a rather successful model after all, hence why it was so hard to find someone who wasn’t just interested in him sexually or because of his money. And it did not help one bit that he found you so unbelievably attractive as well, his nervousness was at its peak.

“Hey. You’re… [Your.name], right?”, he tried to sound very casual as he leaned against the bar beside you. AND MY GOD, he was so tiny compared to you. He loved it. The way he had to look up so much.

You were rather surprised to get attention, especially from someone like Hawks. Like, he was so out of your league it was ridiculous to even think he would even BREATH besides you – yet there he was. Talking to you-

Oh. You knew what he wanted.

“Okay, look, let’s just skip all that polite small talk, the little laughs so we don’t feel awkward before you drop the question. Just tell me, which number do you want? Or should I just give you all three?”, you immediately cut to the chase. It had never been any different, so why would it be today? Especially when someone so sexy and pretty talked to you? Obviously he wanted someone from your much more handsome and well-trained friends.

Hawks was, however, rather surprised that THIS was your initial reaction to him talking to you. Though he could have not known how hard it would truly be to get to know you or get your number.

“Uhm… To be honest, your number alone would be quite sufficient.”, Keigo played it smooth. A handsome smile on his lips covered up his own nervousness – was he about to get rejected?

For a few seconds you stared at him, completely flabbergasted. Then you turned around and looked around… and looked around… and looked around some more until he finally asked, “Everything okay? You looking for an escape route?”

Keigo chuckled at the end, though he was not as calm as he pretended to be.

“No, I just…”, you then turned to him again, your brows furrowed, “… You can stop now, you know? Like, are you trying to prank me or…? Cameras anywhere? Like haha we got the fat guy. Look at him getting all flustered finally getting attention. Hahaha funny.”

At the end, you almost sounded a little angry, before you grabbed your drink and walked away from the bar. Saying Hawks was confused was an understatement. He just watched you for a moment as you walked away and squeezed into a lonely corner. God… How many people must have put you down for you to think he was pranking you?

“This is going to be more difficult than I thought.”

Running his hand through his hair, Kei had to calm down for a moment and reevaluate. Did you reject him because you genuinely weren’t interest or because you were self-conscious? Probably the latter. So… should he try again? Fuck yeah. As if he was going to give up so easily. He just needed you to know he really wasn’t pranking you, the rest… was up to Future-Keigo.

Clearing his throat and taking his drink, he then walked over to your corner. Standing in front of you he was so  s m o l. It would probably feel great hugging you.

“Okay that was rough. Listen, I really don’t wanna prank you or anything. Just… get to know you… ya know?”, this time he genuinely smiled a little, hoping you wouldn’t just reject him again.

Raising one brow, you were still rather suspicious. AS IF someone like Keigo would want to get to know you. Something was not right, you could feel it in every fiber of your big, chubby body. Then again.. maybe the only thing that you felt was the insecurities that held you back from getting to know someone who might genuinely be interested in you.

So, you gave yourself a little push.

“Yeah… I guess… I’m not really used to…. You know, how about we just start over?”

Keigo thought he had finally cracked you, giving himself a mental high five for being persistent. Thus, with a small smile he nodded and reached out his hand.

“Sure, nice to meet you, I’m Takami Keigo.”

“I’m [Your.name], nice to meet you.”, you finally smiled a little as well. Oof, his heart just jumped. Why was he so smitten already? He literally just met you. Keigo definitely wanted to get to know you more.

“So, how about we go take a seat over there? I could do with another drink.”, he said while pointing in the direction of a free table.

For a moment, you hesitated, though after a few seconds, you nodded, “Yeah, sounds nice.”

Without realizing it, hours went by as you and Hawks sometimes were the loudest ones laughing. Your friends just glancing over every so often, obviously jealous you had gotten the most handsome men of all of them today. But for the first time, you didn’t care what other’s thought as you and Kei just had … a connection.

Hence why, when he glanced down to his watch and sighed, you felt a little sad.

“I wish this night wouldn’t end. But I have a model job tomorrow and I only was a backup for someone so I didn’t even intend to have so much fun today. Time sure flies with you, [Your.name].”, he gave you one of his best smiles that made your throat dry and your knees weak.

“I… really enjoyed myself, too. Thank you. And sorry for acting like that in the beginning.”, you smiled apologetically and a little flustered. He found it very endearing.

“That’s fine, don’t worry about it. Well…”, he then looked at his phone and stood up, “It’s 2 a.m. definitely missed the last train. I’m gonna make a quick call for a taxi.”

“Hm.”, you nodded and watched for a second as he went outside where it was a little quieter to call.

Looking between Hawks and your friends who were still partying with Keigo’s friend group, you wondered if you should bring him home. You were the driver, but… how often had your friends disappeared with someone without telling you? How often did you leave a party all by yourself? It was time to be a little selfish today.

So, you hastily stood up and walked outside the bar, watching as Keigo typed on his phone, ready to call.

“Uhm, Takami-san?”, you interrupted him.

“Hm?”, he was a little surprised.

“If you want.. I can drive you home. I brought my own car since I was planning on leaving earlier too and I only drank one cocktail right in the beginning and the rest was alcohol free stuff so… if you want?”, your voice became a little smaller by the end, not knowing if you were too eager. Was this okay?

“Really? That’s not a problem?”

“No! Not at all.”, you reassured him.

“That’s great! I only live like 20 minutes away if we take the car. Ahhh, you’re a life saver, [Your.name]! Thank you.”, Keigo beamed.

And so, you hopped into your car, the only place big enough for you, at least that’s what it felt like since you invested in a nice big one. Keigo was quite cute how he sat there in the big seat, being so small.

The drive to Hawks’ home was also filled with chatter and laughter, once again reassuring you both that you definitely had some sort of connection. And since he had been attracted to you before, it only gave him more reasons that he wanted to meet you again. Man… this could be the first time a group date turned out successfully – for the both of you!

When you parked in front of his apartment complex, Takami didn’t even want to go yet. Wishing that time would just stop, he sat there for a few seconds before turning to you.

“Thank you, [Your.name].”

“No problem, really!”

“You know, if it wasn’t that late I would have invited you to a coffee or another drink or something but alas…”

“It’s quite late…”, you almost said a little… saddened?

“Hm… It is… I’ll call you!” Hawks then said with a little bit of a grin, since you had exchanged phone numbers before.

“O-Okay.”, you didn’t know why you stuttered, it was just… really new.

“Oh, but you can call me too, yeah? Don’t be shy. Well, anyways.”, he jumped out of the car, turned one last time to grin at you, his golden eyes sparkling a little, making you even more flustered.

“Have a safe drive home and have a good night, [Your.name]!”

“Ah, you too, Takami-san!”

Then, you just watched as he walked up to his apartment complex. You didn’t know what suddenly got into you when you opened the door and jumped out, calling for him.

“Takami-san?!”, it was literally two in the morning, his poor neighbors.

Though Hawks immediately turned his head.

“I… really, really enjoyed myself today. Just… thank you.”

Oh my God, you were so cute. Such a gentle giant teddy bear, that’s what you were. Without thinking about it, Keigo rushed back, catching you a little off guard when he walked around the car.

“You know, I might be a little drunk, but fucking God – I want to kiss you SO. BAD. right now.”, Kei said without hold back. His golden eyes gleaming in the dark and his cheeks flushed, you didn’t know if it was because of the alcohol or if he was blushing.

You, on the other hand, were very flustered, yet you barely whispered, “Maybe you should…”

Which only made Hawks giggle and raise his arms. An almost… seductive grin on his lips.

“Then you should help me out a little here, Handsome!”

Was he a bit drunk? Possibly. Was he overly flirtatious because he truly liked your personality and found you attractive and DEFINITELY wanted to meet you again?... Probably. But someone as straight-forward as Hawks was exactly who you needed because of your tendencies to overthink everything. Especially when it came to your weight and thus attractiveness. (Even though the one didn’t have anything to do with the other though not when it came to society.)  

And so, you accommodated him by leaning down. Takami himself standing on his tiptoes, thus, after he had hoped all night long, his lips finally met yours. His small arms wrapped around your big, broad shoulders and your big hand was placed on his lower back. That’s what he had wanted. And it really happened. To say Keigo was quite euphoric was an understatement. He was ecstatic, overjoyed, jubilant and so much more – and that from a little kiss. He surely fell quick and hard. Something he had never experienced before.

After a few moments of pure delight, you were the first to pull back, just to watch Kei bite his lip in such a sexy way it took all of your control to not grab him and pin him onto your car’s hood.

“Thank you.”, he just whispered, still with that grin on his lips, “I really enjoyed myself, too.”

Then, he let go and you did as well, this time really just watching when he turned around and walked into the apartment complex with one last wave. So you got back into your car as well, the last minutes replaying in your head over and over again.

With your hand covering your face, you had to hide your stupid, big grin. If all of that was just a dream, you didn’t want to wake up. Someone found YOU attractive. You had deemed yourself the most unattractive, undatable guy and that only because society had always told you that. But he didn’t care. He liked your “undatable, unattractive” body just the way it was. And not only that, after a rough start, you got along so well. You loved his little laughs, his beautiful eyes and those soft lips-

“God I have never felt like that before, what the fuuuck??”, you mumbled to yourself, still in disbelief that night even happened.

But as you drove away, you heard a little noise that came from your phone and as you looked up, you quickly scanned the text before looking back onto the streets – a wide smirk spreading across your face.

'ello! It's me, system!au anon, and I am here to announce that I'm here to drop some of the long promised system!au Keith x Pico x Xeno x Zardy HCs! Sorry it had taken so long to get to this!

ALRIGHTY SO LETS BEGIN.

Ok. First of all, I must share this: Pico's initial reaction to learning Zardy's age was basically "wow you're really old" and he even genuinely believed the other was old-old too. Pico then goes onto say something along the lines of "Damn. For an old man, you sure still look nice" annnnnd that was as far as he was able to get before an unamused-looking Zardy shuts him up with a little bonk on the head while the rest of Zardy's crew are laughing at the exchange. And that's when both Pico and Keith learned one) Zardy is an young adult and that he's basically 25 in demon years and two) how aging is for netherworld demons and how it differs from each individual.

Now Xeno there. Both Keith and Pico were also under the impression that Xeno was either younger than them (like still adult age of course, just like a year younger than them) or was the same age as them. They didn't find out until Pico - who I say is the first to start developing stronger feelings (he seems like how main Keith is when it comes to developing simping feels for friends he finds attractive ok lol) - manages to convince Keith to go out on a date! Well more like hang out with them instead of a date since Keith, while starting to develop some feels too, wasn't quite sure yet. Not that stops Pico from playfully referring to it as such! Xeno, being the oblivious dork they are, simply thought Pico was being is playful self and meant nothing by it.

Oh and for the record, yes, feels happen with Xeno first. It helps that they're able to interact with Xeno more often than Zardy so understandable feelings would happen with them first lol.

Anyway the not-date goes very well! This is also where Keith starts to realize that his little crush feels might be a biiiiiiiit more than a crush there. Pico, on the other hand, just falls even more for them. What? They're both cutiesexuals okay!

Oh and this here is when they both finally learned Xeno's age and they're just. whoa. because holy shit here they were thinking Xeno was, like, younger or at least their age but nope they're actually older than them! Xeno of course just laughs at their reactions (which may or may not have accidentally slay their simping hearts a bit more cuz oh no their laugh is cute lmao).

Pico often takes advantage of being able to interact with them as if he was a normal person by giving them hugs! He also is very much a cuddle bug just like main Keith too. Oh and very affectionate needy too. Now, Pico's usually mindful enough to take extra care to not accidentally startle Xeno too much when it comes to public places- but sometimes the ginger will forget himself and go right for it, practically nearly glomping them there. Only one time did someone took noticed over how flustered Xeno was, but fortunately didn't paid much mind to it. Doesn't stop Keith from giving Pico a little bonk on the head for it lol.

Keith is also just affectionate in his own way, though unlike Pico he has the sense to not go too crazy about it in public. That and admittedly he's rather shy when it comes initiating more than a little hug and hand holding.

Oh and btw the two are VERY often over how much they like Xeno but Xeno, being the innocent dork they are, doesn't realize it. Pico is getting to the point of just flat out asking out but, well, Keith, being the shy dork he is, manages to convince him to wait until he gathers SOME courage first so he can confess with him at the same time.

Now for Zardy there, pfft, funny thing about that. Zardy happen to the two's growing interest in Xeno and eventually spoke to them about it, informing the two that one) they're not the only one who likes Xeno and two) suggested - uh can't recall the exact wording - he suggested the poly. Some talking (that I can't recall cuz my dumb ass memory sucks and I didn't wrote it down) and eventually an agreement came to be.

Now as for the feels, well.... okay so funny thing about that there. Me and friends all half-joked that system Pico shares a lot of similar tastes with main Keith. He also is shameless about his interests too.

So he just. not even the first day in. freaking asks Zardy how does he look down there. He wasn't rude about it at all but... well, he was definitely not even bothering to hide his interest.

Keith is just "ASJKSDAJKDAS P I C O" ONLY FOR PICO TO GO "WHAT? YOU'RE CURIOUS TOO!" AND KEITH JUST. DIES EVEN MORE AJSKASDJK

Zardy, rather than getting flustered or such like one might expected, instead laughs, not bothered whatsoever. If anything he was tickled silly by how blatant the ginger was and how he pretty much outs poor Keith there.

Now as for whether these feels will be like with the ones they got for Xeno or if their bond with Zardy will be similar to the bond main Keith and Zardy have, well, me and friends couldn't decide! So we'll leave it up to you and others for your own interpretation!

When he first met you, he honestly didn’t care about you, you were just another pawn in his plan and it was that way for a while.

At the start of your relationship, whenever you brought your insecurities up, he would just ignore you.

“Your insecurities mean nothing to me, there’s other things to worry about in this filthy world”

The more time he spends with you, the more he warms up to you.

It makes him very standoffish at first, he’ll insult you and poke at you and your insecurities in hopes of waving off these weird feelings.

“Instead of complaining, do something about it (Y/N).”

“Every time I see you, you’re eating, maybe you wouldn’t be so big if you put down the fork.”

Not going to lie, he’s going to be an even bigger dick as he tries to figure out his feelings.

“Maybe I should’ve found someone else that fits my standards.”

He wouldn’t hold you at night in your shared bed anymore the more he tries to push you away.

“Why would I want to hold someone so unappealing? I have a reputation to uphold, or did you forget (Y/N)?”

Your only solace during that time is Eri. You know the poor girl has been through hell and back and you know you can’t do much, but you can give her that love and support she craves.

When Kai spews those hurtful words, instead of crying as you would, you spent time with Eri. 

She brought you comfort when all Chisaki brought you was a crushed soul.

Reading, playing dress up, cooking and just having Eri around brightened you up so much and helped you with your insecurities.

“(Y/N), can we bake cookies today? I like them, they’re yummy!”

“Can I hear the story about the Princess and the Frog? I love the way you tell it, it’s so funny!”

Chisaki notices your improvement in your mood...he’s noticed for a while actually.

You haven’t had a conversation or really looked at him in months and if he was honest with himself...he missed you.

Missed your touch, your laugh, the softness you had and the warmth you emitted. He honestly thought pushing you away was the best option, but in the end it only hurt him and you more.

He took time to come to terms that he loved you...deeply. You no longer were a pawn on a chess board like everyone else, no, you were his Queen and he realized how much he fucked up.

Of course he noticed you coddling Eri more and caring for her more than before. The way you interacted with the child and how much you smiled around her brought a dull throb to his chest.

One night when you both were in your shared bed, turned away from each other as was the usual he decided to finally talk to you and get everything else out in the open.

Turning around, his eyes landed on your back, head laid on the pillow and not moving giving the illusion of you sleeping, but he knew better. You were still awake.

Placing a hand on your protruding hip, the warmth you radiated brought him a sense of comfort.

“(Y/N)...can we talk?” His gruff voice whispered against your ear, his hand caressing up and down your exposed side.

“What is it Kai?” Your monotone voice wasn’t what made him pause his soft touches, it was the use of his name. You usually called him a pet name or at least, ‘Chis-kun’.

Hearing you just call him Kai was another blow. He had to fix this otherwise he feared he was going to lose you for good.

Gripping your supple hip, a quiet gasp escaped your lips, head turning to look back at him.

Sitting up, he quickly gripped both of your hips and flipped you over so you were settled on his lap, large hands grasping your softness, thumbs rubbing soft circles into your soft flesh.

“Let me go Kai,” You struggled against his strong hold not particularly liking your current position. You were not ready for more verbal assaults from him about your insecurities.

“I miss those pet names...your laugh...(Y/N)...I miss you.”

Your struggles stopped as you stared down at him, his unmasked face settled in an unreadable expression, but his eyes...were sad. In all of your time knowing this man, you’ve never seen his eyes this crestfallen before.

Kai showing emotion was something you never expected, even going into a relationship, but now they were clear as day to you.

“What?” You opened and closed your mouth a few times, still trying to grasp this whole situation. “What happened to you?”

It was a valid question, a bit insensitive, sure, but given the names and shit he’s said to you, this was minimal.

“I felt something I haven't felt before with you and I thought ignoring you and pushing you away would make me feel better...foolish on my part really, it made me crave you more (Y/N).”

Large hands skimmed down your bare legs sending shivers up your spine. His words made your face flush at how genuine they were. You knew when Kai was lying and in this instance, he wasn’t.

“I’m...I’m sorry for those things I said to you, the moments where I was supposed to comfort you, I belittled you, I’ll try harder to be a better lover if you’ll give me another chance.”

His hands were still rubbing up and down your chunky legs as he said those words. Holding you close to him like this probably brought him comfort as he tried to tell you his feelings, something he wasn’t used to.

Cupping his cheek, his eyes softened, something you weren’t used to, but a gesture you would love to see more of in the future.

“You were awful, worse than any of my own insecurities honestly and Eri was the only thing that lifted my spirits and made me feel happy all these months...it’s going to take time to build up that trust we had. Those words cut so deep, I understand trying to figure out feelings, but hun...there’s better ways to figure out your feelings without hurting those around you.”

Lifting a hand from one of your legs, Chisaki cupped your soft cheek, thumb caressing your soft jawline. It was nice to see this different side of Chisaki, being open and vulnarable with you and telling you about how he felt was new territory for your relationship and it made you happy to know he was trying and letting you in, even just a little bit.

“I know that now (Y/N), please give me another chance, I love you, you are the only person to see me like this,” His hand on your cheek slid around to the back of your neck, pulling you down to him, lips inches apart. You shuddered at the sensation of being so close to him again. “I love everything about you and I know I haven't told you that, let me show you everything I love about you and this body of yours and I’ll show you and tell you everyday just how beautiful you are, to hell with those insecurities of yours.”

You felt your eyes grow wet, the sinsirety of his words hitting you deep. Without another thought, you pressed your lips aginst his, chubby hands sliding around to the back of his head, fingers tangling themselves into his soft black locks as the kiss grew heated.

Rolling the both of you over, Kai was on top of you, hands and feet moving position so he was above you, caging you on the bed.

“Seeing you flushed and gasping for air makes me want to take you, mark you as mine for all to see.”

Biting your lip, more heat rose to your round cheeks. “Then do it Chis-Kun,” Moving your head to the side, you exposed more of your neck, his favorite place to mark you when he does. “Mark me all you want.”

Without a second thought, he dove into your neck, mouth latching onto the soft, plush skin of your neck and started sucking marks onto your delicate skin.

After that night which ended with both you and Chis-Kun tangled in the bedsheets, marks littering both of your bodies and content expressions on both of your faces, he held true to his words.

Whenever your insecurities got the best of you, he was there to reassure you, tell you how wonderful you were and to listen to him and not those negative voices.

He’d hold you if you were having a bad image day and no matter what he had to do that day, it was moved because you were his priority.

When you were with Eri, taking care of her, he’d show up and iinteract with both of you, of course, he wouldn’t show too much affection since Eri was there, but seeing you take care of the young girl makes him yearn to have kids of his own with you.

Talks to you more about emotions and what he’s feeling. Does still get frustrated when he can’t find the right words and will either storm off, or not talk to you for a while.

Will come back with a clear mind and try again with what he was trying to say. Usually when he comes to bed and finds comfort in your warmth.

LAOFT Tattoo Parlor AU

In which Roman opens a tattoo parlor for two good reasons, and one really dumb one. 

also, this is like my first ever fic in this format so feedback is appreciated (That includes constructive criticism)

• So one day The Boys are just talking and Roman mentions that his failed attempt at piercing his ears

• To which Virgil goes “Greta tried to do that to me, but it failed even more spectacularly.”  

• “Wait how do you even pierce fae ears? Doesn’t the needle, y’know, burn?” 

• “Copper?” 

• “Oh yeah I didn’t even consider that.” 

• “Well it’s not like we could have it done regardless,” Logan points out, “We aren’t going to find a shop with tools made of pure copper.”

• “Well how do you know that, though? Have you even looked?” Patton asks

• “Yes.” 

• “Oh. Wait, why?”

• “I was just looking to see if it was possible to get a tattoo.”

• And then they ask Logan what tattoo he would even get and he says that he didn’t really know, but it definitely would be some sort of flower. He also points out that it doesn’t matter anyway, since it would be impossible. 

• But once again, Logan underestimated just how big of a simp Roman Gage is. 

• So Roman has been thinking about what kind of job he would want. He’s certain a desk job would kill him. He really would like a job that lets him move around all day and put his artistic skills to work, y’know?

• It wasn’t until this conversation that he realized it. 

• “I think I wanna become a tattoo artist!” He announces.

• “Oh, and would this have anything to do with our conversation the other day?” Logan asks.

• “No- I mean yes- or, uh, kind of? I was thinking about what kind of job I would want, and then after the conversation it just sort of… hit me.” Roman said, entirely too fast, pacing as he spoke. 

• “I did some research, and its going to take a few years, but you don’t need a degree or anything and I think it would be really cool and stuff so yeah,” He stopped turning to his husbands, who all had looks of amusement on their faces, “whatcha think?”

• After getting various affirmation from his husbands, he was determined. 

• Blah blah blah Roman does all the things to become a tattoo artist blah blah three years of internship blah blah blah

• And now the fun part.

• Roman opens his own shop! It’s always right next to Logan’s flower shop and Patton’s Bakery. 

• Which leads us to the really dumb reason Roman opened this tattoo parlor.

I don’t have too many ships because Black Clover is mainly action so it is focused on that. I don’t ship any of the underage characters because they are all children who are busy saving the world and the adult characters such as the Captains(except Yami and Charlotte) and the Wizard King are all too busy with work and saving their kingdom and the world. They have no time for romance as of now. But, BC is going to be as long or even longer than One Piece according to Tabata so there is hope for everyone ;)

10. William Vangeance

Look, if I was in the BC universe, what he did would be unforgivable to me. Instead of not enabling his most dearest friend to commit genocide, he leaves it up to him and the person he respects the most to fight to the death so he wouldn’t have to decide. Like who in their right minds would stand aside if their closest friend wanted to commit genocide for something that happened 500 years ago?

I was initially really upset with William but after a while, I started liking his character. Usually when people are like “I like this so-and-so character because they are flawed,” I would be like please🙄 but William is the first character I have ever truly liked for being flawed. Like this man loved Patri so much that he was willing to let people die. Not that it’s a good thing but you get what I mean. But at the same time, just as much he loved, he knew it was wrong so it was an impossible choice for him and I absolutely love that about him. But keep in mind, if he was an actual person I knew, my opinion would be waaaaaay different.

9. Zara Ideale

This man is badass as all hell like cmon. First commoner to become a magic knight??? That’s freaking amazing😎😎😎 and the way he kept a smile on his face despite everyone underestimating him and beating him down? Very respectable😎 The way he was an amazing, single father and a role model to Zora? That’s hot 😎 And the way he inspired my man Julius? Freaking iconic😎

8. Mereoleona Vermillion

She is simply a hot woman with a rough side, an OP character and an amazing leader. What more can I say 🙈🙈🙈

7. Finral Roulacase

I love his character because he is trying so hard to get better for Finnese’s sake. I mean he isn’t doing too good of a job but he is first gaining confidence in himself and I could clearly see a realistic difference in him. I personally don’t ship him with Finesse unless I see them bond more tbh but this is going to be a looooong story so there may be space for development there.

6. Grey x Gauche

Look, I don’t like Gauche because of his sister complex. It’s played off as a joke way too many times and I find it icky but the teased ship between him and Grey seems realistic and nice to me. Like he could help Grey build up her confidence and Grey could teach him what it is to love another person. Ships that build each other up make me go uwu asjkdhakjsd

5. Klaus Lunettes

I absolutely adore Klaus because this man is the prime example of hope for the next generation. He is a noble who was initially derisive of Asta and Yuno because they were peasants but now he actually loves and respects them. This is how the next generation should be. Nobles shouldn’t only learn to tolerate commoners and peasants but actually respect and even love them as well.

I especially like for his Klaus’s love and concern for Asta and find it incredibly wholesome and endearing. He is an amazing friend and actually voices his concerns if any of them are about to do something stupid unlike someone askjdaks

4. Charlotte Roselei

Charlotte is a badass woman and with the way she is written, just because she is in love, didn’t mean that she was any less than her position as Magic Knight Captain. What I mean is that she wasn’t reduced to a woman in love with Yami and actually has her moments where she gets to shine and im not going to spoil anything but she’s doing amazing in the manga and I’m cheering for her 😎

3. Fuegoleon Vermillion

Ok, I know I don’t talk about him as much but I really love his character because he inspires other people like Asta and Noelle and is a great magic knight captain. His character and the way he holds himself also reminds me of Erwin from AoT asdhakdkfsjk. Him and his fire magic and salamander are badass as hell and he also makes for an amazing leader. I genuinely like seeing him being all authoritative and it’s a nice contrast from Julius’ passive attitude. If Julius wasn’t Wizard King, it would be him.

2. Yami Sukehiro

Who in their right minds don’t like Yami Sukehiro? Like he is such a freaking dad to the rest of the squad and he has such amazing fight scenes and his spell, “Dimension Slash?” Freaking amazing like when he got trapped in the Dream World, I knew he was going to use that spell and it was so freaking cool. Not only that, he pushes everyone around him to be better and to surpass their limits. I like his constant presence and he makes for some really funny moments with his dry humor XD

I like how there are small details for his time spells like the fact that his Chronostasis spell only brings time to a near stop because completely stopping time would stop the movement of particles and instantly freeze and kill the person. AJSDJLKASJD I’ll stop nerding now(never👹)

Magia Rapport pt 2

August 24th prompt: What was your favorite event, and why? Is it because of gameplay or the story?

It’s hard to choose so I’m gonna just, gush a bit.

As you can probably tell I’m very biased toward the OG girls, I started Magia Record primarily because PMMM had become my new obsession and I wanted some sort of constant flow of content out of decade old anime lmao.

But another thing I think I hooked onto was Inu Curry’s writing. They really know Madoka Magica and aren’t afraid to really play with them- something the writers for a spin-off gacha game (as with most spin-off stories honestly) can be scared to do. Inu Curry made references, revealed secrets and built upon the story we already know- which lets be honest is what we always truly want from a spin-off series. Magia Record proper does this well by putting more magical girls into the world and letting us see things work out better for them than for the original cast, but what I really appreciated with this story was getting to see that old original cast get to get in on that, and these events managed to do that without watering them down any.

Under the cut is me going on for 3000 words about why I love these three events I’m so sorry. TL;DR at the very end-

I’ll go in release order,

A La Carte Valentine was one of the first if not THE first event I got in on. I was eager to bc 1 Gay Magical Girl Shit Guaranteed. And ofc 2 OG Cast participation.

I want to preface by saying I actually loved all the girls’ stories in this. I was very much still in a state of getting used to Iroha’s gang let alone trying to care about the secondary girls. I knew Tsukasa had this angsty Twins Separated At Birth Deal and liked seeing her home life (also I immediantly stanned Take. Regular well-meaning dude who has no idea whats going on just trying his best and hating his boss). I knew nothing about Ami except Cowgirl Meguca and getting the bulk of her personality in one short even I think really kept me from being absolutely sick of her, she’s just a cute silly teenage girl who could be in literally anything and I was able to just endearingly giggle at that. Hinano managed to do the heterosexual unrequited crush cliché without me groaning or missing any of her regular personality. Also was there a Ren part? I don’t remember because everything Ren does feels like a Soft Yuri Valentines Special. Also I love Momoko. Ok moving on to what I Really wanna talk about.

Madoka is genuinely my Least Cared About of the Holy Sextet. I don’t think she’s bad or even boring- Madoka has a depth to her character, like, really deep- but that’s not something ever really touched upon by the fandom. Even when people like her and make her the Heroine she’s Supposed to be, it’s usually in the context of “Girl who feels nothing but kindness and happy thoughts would cut off her right hand to feed to a hungry dog. Isn’t she so Good????”. And honestly, while I understand the point it was going to make, I wasn’t crazy about her sacrifice in the end of the series. (Team Homura “Rebellion Is Good Actually” ftw) All because I think that I’m an Adult Woman watching this like “You are 14yrs old and need to be home playing Sims and not sacrificing yourself for the greater good you stupid silly little baby girl”

So my point is here near all fan content I encounter tends to emphasize whats sort of my least favorite facet of Madoka. I don’t think she made the ‘wrong’ decision in the context she and the story were given, but it’s still a sad thing to show a depressed(!!!) insecure girl resolving to give away her very existence so that every other girl on earth has a chance to just Dream. Oh and they still usually die young. But that’s ok because then she takes them and lets them sleep peacefully forever in her Heaven Basement (Yes I am bitter stan Homura I would yank this savior complex infant girl out the sky too)

MY POINT BEING (The servers closing let me BLEED OUT ALL MY FEELINGS) This event did not do that!!! It made Madoka…….. EVERYTHING SHE SHOULD BE??? ALWAYS??? Showed her HOW WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO VIEW HER??? (Read: Happy and Alive and Confident at no foreboding or sacrifice of anyone else!!!!)

She is Sassy and Surrounded By Friends and Really Funny??? And we get this Ridiculous Oh My God On Crack metaphor about her being this all-powerful apocalypse bringing being which is representing her love for the universe through her Witch form of Wanting Everyone To Be Happy And Safe With Her??? And she still risks herself to save everyone as is her Thing to do but we get to have her do it without erasing her existence as a human being at the end and if that is not some GOOD SHIT????

Ok next:

NGL Sayaka’s (fav character, inarguable best girl, can u not tell) parts in MagiReco til like the last arc have always left me a bit disappointed. She was the only late comer of the OG girls from what I understand and it kind of gives her the air of what a lot of the second(/thirdary?) girls suffer from. You can tell the writers can’t even figure out a trope to apply her to to make her easy and two dimensional to write about so they just don’t know what to do. They definitely try to make up for it (especially in the anime which Praise Be but that’s probably Inu Currys doing) but she’s still lacking like, any of the depth of her personality. Which, I guess I could anticipate. Because most of the fandom tends to as well. (again)

Gonna stop complaining and get on with- That didn’t feel as much the case in her Valentine event. Sure it was still the same formula of “The Issue Is Kyosuke” but that didn’t play out as grueling as her personal story did with “Nine Episodes Of “The Issue Is Kyosuke””

There was one big glaring heart-aching detail of “Mami isn’t really there because SHES IN A FUCKING CULT RIGHT NOW” which kind of jarred the event out of the ho-hum silly valentines sidestory these events usually keep up.

Sayaka has this crisis about Doing Anything Meaningful With Kyosuke which we all know what That’s calling back to, but in this environment we get to have Kyoko come right up and be in a position with her to earnestly and affectionately Push Her To Do It. The lonely little tsundere bitch girl pushes her Not Friend to Give The Bastard The Gotdamn Chocolate Already and for a moment you can only think about What If’s and If Only’s. Sayaka’s is still the weakest of the threes stories in this event but it worked harder to show us different sides of the characters then 6 chapters of Another Story managed to do.

And then there’s fucking Homura.

I will be, eternally grateful for Kuro. As a character that becomes metaphorical for the 2D ways we initially viewed the feathers and just NPCs in games in general, and also like, giving Homura a friend she actually cares about that isn’t the tangled dark web of Bullshit she’s gotten tied up with Madoka in. Please ask me about all my AU’s where Kuro is Homuras first girlfriend.

Seeing Moemura in Magia Record has always been a bit surreal, we never really understand just what stage of Trauma this Homura is in because Multiverses Are Hell, but this event gives us a good chunk of a Homura who still has hope and faith both in the world and Madoka. Theres this wonder to her that while still bogged down by terrible experiences still has the energy to be Trying. And she sees a girl who used to be like her- which when you think about it is probably what Madoka saw in her- and she wants to help. Because Madoka helped her. And Madoka is the best thing in the universe and maybe Homura can be just a little bit closer to that.

Kuro is too far gone though, as is the reality frequently in this series, things don’t work out just because of circumstance. Kuro was a bullied, insecure little girl who realistically shouldn’t have had to become a rampaging monster because of it. We’re reminded of this being the reality of the Madoka universe. Homura, is reminded of this reality. Homura loses this one chance to bring hope into the world like Madoka brought hope into hers.

And then her story ties into the ending of Madoka’s. Madoka saves her life yet again, even as Homura continues to feel miserable and empty. But at least Madoka is with her. The girls then share a quiet, intimate Valentines together. And you sort of understand how Homura fell so far into the darkness that the only thing she was able to still care about and fight for was Madoka’s safety.

That shit slaps. It slaps you right in the heart and causes fucking bruising but then u want it to do it again because you’re masochistic and Meguca Is Suffering.

Anyway I hope Kuroe slaps our hearts more in season2

~Nagisa’s Wish~

Ok, I don’t remember what got me so simp over Nagisa, I think it was the heart-aching irony that Mami adopts the witch that fucking ate her. But that is my baby now and I’d die for her. Fandom Charlotte whose pink and silly and loves her mom and is Mami’s cancer-riddled girlfriend is cool and all but she isn’t a tiny Halloweeny baby whose fucking bitter angry and manically obsessed with cheese due to PTSD.

I had saw a summary of Nagisa’s Wish reposted just to quickly explain Nagisa’s backstory, and as such immediately had to search out if that crazy ride was true- so I actually watched this whole event probably before I downloaded the game. It was surreal on its own but replaying it when it came to NA didn’t lessen it any- I got to process more of what I was witnessing and as result stanned Yu pretty hard.

I guess to explain my Emotions here, saving Yu for later- calls for me to just, describe who Nagisa is as a human being and my headcanons surrounding it all with what this event gave us. Whether you consider it canon or not it’s one version of events that we were given and that I am all for accepting.

Nagisa’s Mom was a celebrity, she could have been an actress though I also like the idea of her being an Idol. She met Nagisa’s Dad oh-so romantically and got knocked up- they very well could have been married but it doesn’t seem clear enough. He seems to have left too suddenly for legal matters like that. Nagisa is approximately 11, and while she seems to remember her Father, she doesn’t in the sense of having had a relationship with him or any feelings. Her Mother has to “explain” why he left, so Nagisa was probably still young even if not a baby. What I’m getting at here is the timeline for when Nagisa’s Mom Got Like That. Nagisa can remember her from before she was, and then says that she got sick after her Dad left. So what I’m wondering is did Daddy Momoe ruin this young rich girls life, give her syphilis and then leave her with a baby she was unfit to care for in poverty? I know half of this is running on anime logic but Holy Shit all the possible ways reasons and ideas for why things could’ve gotten This Bad.

Is it ridiculously dark and edgy that the original story we were given was “Girl wishes her dying mother could have her favorite cake but then realizes OOPSIE-DAISY I could have wished for her to Not Die instead!!!!” got turned into “11yr old hates her abusive mother so much she wants to make her suffer in the most symbolic way she can and then goes mental when she isn’t able to do it”??? Yes. But if I had the mental capacity to I have to admit I was in a position to be just as bitter at that age too. I can’t call it unrealistic. I may infact be projecting hard with how much I support and enjoy this backstory.

Anyway Nagisa was in such a state of trauma and distress at a horrifically young age when she died that it broke her mental faculties so severely that even when she came back as a literal Angel of God she had blocked it out so deeply and thoroughly she seemingly regressed to an even younger capacity and hyperfixated on the trait that she has before used to try to bond with her Mother who she had died hating.

And that also slaps u right in the heart.

A N D T H E N !

~Beachside Bonds~

Just the simple structure of this story was so enjoyable and nicely done. We finally get to see the OG girls in a context we wouldn’t be able to in literally any other scenario. They’re going on a summer vacation together and Homura is sentimentally journaling every single second of it. Is this mayhaps because she’s never gotten to be this happy and blissful with these girls she loves so much??? Of course this is are you not paying attention what the fuck. Homura is so optimistic and healed and hopeful she’s acting like what she might actually be doing as a normal teenage girl. (A heartrending contrast to the end of her Valentines Special)

We get nothing short of pure fluffy Slice Of Life shenanigans on the beach which even includes a bunch of the Kamihama girls that the OG crew knows! And they talk about it! And introduce eachother! And their friends commentate on it! Ren gets to see Kyoko Not Being A Bitch and then Sayaka teases her about having made friends and oh my god my heart is turning into cottoncandy as we speak Mom holy FUCK

Sayaka’s existence fucking matters in this story! It’s her families Hotel they’re staying at and she has relationships and memories with the creepy twins that live there and she talks like a fucking person??? And gives opinions??? That aren’t just copypasted “Justice is Good and Bad things are BAD!!!!”

Mami is fresh out of her fucking Cult Drama and she’s still trying to be cool Senpai but then she DECKS Homura in the face and gets scared by the ghost stories and then turns into pudding and waxes nostalgia at Kyoko out of nowhere IT’S ALMOST LIKE SHE’S A FIFTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL????????

This whole fucking backstory and truly horrifying Romeo and Juliet on Acid love and death story between Yu and her girlfriend and like if I wasn’t fascinated enough by Yu just being the creepy organ harvester before but apparently thats what she became after she literally made some sort of wish that erased all of her memories besides the nickname her sweetheart used for her and coincidentally also added to her the task of killing all Bad People?????

Yu made a wish to be able to get rid of All Bad People preserving the innocent version of herself who grew up with this girl and it was right after a failed double suicide attempt on fucking Doomed Lovers Cliff fucking Lifetime Will You Ever.

It then pairs with Homura whose PTSD gets to shine through a bit in being unable to believe any bad sort of Madoka which how could you try to force her to at this point while Also pairing Homura with Ren in the “Gay Love Saved Our Lives: Traumatized vers & Vanilla vers”

I don’t remember if there was a symbolic finale and tbh I have forgotten a lot of the details with Yu and her girlfriend Whatsherface because that shit was just so shocking and bizarre to read and much too painful to reread in a timely fashion just.

That shit hurted but it was full of so much love and hope both doomed and stolen but still was wrapped up in the comforting concept that This Is The Universe Where Homura Gets To Be Okay This Time.

She’s still scarred beyond comprehension and this ghost drama accentuated it all but at the end of the day this is still the Safe Universe where all of them are alive and the Holy Quintet are friends and they’re all going to be okay (Godoka & Aniplex willing) and so many of us love Madoka Magica because it shows girls fighting through the same pain we’ve been through and keeping their hope alive and here we get to see them actually find peace in a clunkily written fanservicey spin-off mobile gacha game and hey, that made me happy while I got to experience it. Thanks for the ideas and memories and tragic backstories and funny thirdary characters MagiReco I’m gonna take em all and Run.
