Aot fandom is so full of complicated wild dramas. How can you guys not be affected by that and still be able to love the characters you love? Particularly when there is a controversial statement about a particular character. To be honesth I admire you for that. I wish I was as mentally strong as you are.

The way I see it, you're either trying to get over it by saying that these rumors are untrue, debunked/mis-translated (maybe you're fooling yourself?) or you're not letting this rumor hold you back and you're in love enough to love the character with their flaws, even if they're toxic actions or things you don't like about them.

From my perspective, when it comes to ship dramas, narratives of uncertain accuracy emerge about a character, and I am affected by these narratives and feel uncertain, sad, and confused about that character. Particularly, when it is confirmed that that person does not have romantic feelings, but his narratives such as being obsessed with one person, being a slave, not being loyal to anyone else, made me more and more disgusted with that character.

Luxury (Lux) Quartz:

Fantasy-esque style with of course added accessories. Can also do both gender's styles. BIG SLEEVES it's part of the drama!

Obviously, the fan comes along with the outfit. They fucking love the loud sound the fan comes with when opening.

Post Timeskip Lux (future campaign):

Also! Lux is a drama king so of course they'd rock a Shanghai style modernized qipao. Especially because it was see as a "showy" sensual modern clothing item anyways, they'd be drawn to it. This isn't shown lol I got tired.

Ssatosthülasi (Ula)

I saw this one photoshoot with snake-hanfu and I'm obsessed. She would rock the blue and the white both. Also she would have a relationship this sapphic, and I'll need to write it down eventually. Not shown, but Ula would also rock a modernized qipao. With like. Embroidered snakes.

Damien Wang/Gu

Based off the DC character Damian Wayne/Al-Ghul, so of course I had to find something that worked with the wonk colorscheme of red, yellow, and green. AND I FOUND SOMETHING THAT LOOKS DECENT?

Do you have any tips for getting your artwork seen by other people? I feel like every time I post it’s just crickets and it’s a little demoralizing sometimes

ahh I know that feeling. Unfortunately here on Tumblr there's no algorithm so you can't get more visibility by doing some annoying trend. I think sometimes it's a streak of luck + having good friends that will share your art tbh 😭 it takes time to build a following but reblogging your own art every once in a while can help with ppl who didn't see it bc of timezones, and fanart can help with visibility and getting more followers I think. But yeah there's really no real way to guarantee your art will get seen, but best of luck to you

Maybe I'm just desensitized from dealing with like cptsd probably ocd neurotic soup unchecked for my whole life and finding ways to just phase out the chatter of it but seeing ppl here talk abt moral ocd and stuff in a way where they refuse to be reminded of racism or anything is baffling to me. Like I don't get how that's helpful for you, instead of separating thoughts and morals from yourself and your actions you're just going oh no my religious ocd is triggered when ppl talk about me having privilege or benefitting from systemic oppression so therefore I'm never going to interact with marginalized people who talk about it ect ect ect. Or proship ppl being like it's too hard to take a stance against incest and age gap ships so they're just no holds bars for it now. Like again maybe I'm being mean, being online is hard I do think the way ppl talk is especially triggering for ocd and the whole born good born bad self flaggelation for forgiveness stuff never be wrong takes especially eat at me but they are symptoms ultimately and letting it box you out from ways you can actually genuienly improve as a person feels wildly unhelpful to me. Sitting with guilt and understanding what is real harm thats been done by you and actual bad things you believed and what is the brain chatter is crucial.
