Knuckles: Grabs the heaviest ball and chucks it with one arm, and somehow manages to get a couple strikes. However he has had a few warnings and even got his family suspended from the complex for what he claimed to be “minor damage” (he threw a ball up into the screen displaying the scores and another time, smashed a ball down too hard on a lane it went straight through the floor)

Tails: Still struggles to lift the ball properly so he uses two hands when holding/throwing it. Sometimes he will use the ramp that is available or he gets help with his stance from a family member (usually Maddie). Doesn’t make strikes often but his family is super encouraging and supportive towards him and he is determined not to give up, and when he makes one for the first time, they go absolutely wild. They’d fill the room with their screams and shouts and all ambush the fox with hugs and kisses and praises for his mini milestone. Tom would pick Tails up and sit him on his shoulder as they all chant his name…the smile on Tails’ face could not be any wider, he was the happiest boy in the world at that moment. But shortly after he bursts into tears because never had he experienced anything like this in his life. His tiny heart just couldn’t handle all this appreciation, support and love that came from a place he once least expected.

Sonic: IS the bowling ball. He’d often forms an alliance with Tom to become the undefeatable father/son duo, though Maddie just sees it as cheating, as wholesome and funny as it is. Sonic once got trapped behind the fence that comes down once you knock over the pins, and had to come out through the channel that returns the balls. They get a bit hesitant on this as they’re worried he might get stuck under there. When he’s not being the ball, he’s either helping Tails, dancing to the music, or begging his parents to do the mii spinning action from wii sports when he chucks the ball behind him.

💙 When Tom is out on his street patrols around town, the boys sneak out and follow him.

Cue to the part where he’s taking a break in a parking lot, looks out the window just to see his 3 sons in the distance sitting on the fence…with Sonic holding a fishing rod with a bag of donuts hooked on the end of the line, the trio snickering away as he made eye contact.

They were clearly tryna lure him in, The Donut Lord, with donuts! Some smart cookies they were…he shook his head, smiling to himself before muttering through the mic, “Tempting…”

He could hear the 3 cackling in the distance, Sonic almost having a Humpty Dumpty incident.

Actually, my choice is very clear:

✨ The Thousand-Year Door ✨

This game means EVERYTHING to me 😍 It was my first Paper Mario game and my second RPG ever (only after Superstar Saga), and oh God, I fell so in love with the characters, the story, the mechanics, the music! It's a game that's so full of surprises and charisma, and the fact that it was told as a play only made it cuter to my eyes 🥹

Honestly, playing this game again after almost 20 years of trying it for the first time on my Wii (I borrowed the original from my cousin as I didn't have a GameCube)... It hit hard in the nostalgia 🥹 When I tell you I couldn't stop crying when it was announced in the direct last year! And then, again, when I started playing it, especially with the soft and beautiful music as the book opens and the story starts...

I have to admit I'm getting emotional just by remembering it 🥹

It's really been so great to replay it! I've loved rediscovering again not only the story of the game itself, but also those of the different characters. Especially the partners! If I may, I wanna mention my three favorites!

Mini Yoshi and Goombella are simply amazing. Their personalities shine through! He's so bold and ready to fight, and she's so smart and sassy. I adore them wholeheartedly 🥹

And then...

My beautiful and beloved Vivian 💜 She holds a very special place in my heart. As a fun fact, she was always trans in the Spanish version of the original game, but of course, I was incredibly happy when it became something official worldwide! In this screenshot, she's actually telling Mario THE line: "It took me some time to realize that I was their sister... and not their brother." You best believe I've cried every single time I've read it, both when playing the game and on the internet 🥹

Also, the places! 😍 My personal favorite is Glitzville, because I love everything about that chapter in general. Having to fight battle after battle to climb the rankings in order to reach the top spot and being crowned champion? And in each battle you have to follow specific guidelines? Not to mention the different opponents you encounter and all the secrets hidden in this place! Absolutely AWESOME 🤩

Also: that Game Boy Advance on the wall does make the sound the console did when you turned it on. I'm a sucker for details like this as they hit nostalgia hard, so it was just another reason to love this part of the game even more 💖

Still, I also loved Twilight Town, the sea and the entire chapter that takes place in the train (can never remember its name in English 😅). I mean, just look!

Also. Mario going 👍 all the freaking time is a silly and adorable detail that made me giggle all the time 🤭❤️

I dont think I need to mention I cried my heart out when I finished replaying this game about a month ago 😅 Every single scene after I defeated the final boss just brought more and more tears to my eyes, and I just couldn't erase the silly smile from my face as I relived such a beautiful and touching ending (I'll add a few more pics under the cut so as not to spoil anyone). This game earned a really big place in my heart 20 years ago and it has only increased after playing the remake 🥹❤️

What’s my deal - I’m an artist! Previously I never really posted my own stuff, but now I want to start doing that. Obviously I’ll still repost things I like, but it’s not gonna be my whole page lolz. I started taking my art more seriously since I switched my major from marine bio to a double major in art and psych (physics and chem are too hard) I’m currently not in school (I had to withdraw during the middle of my first semester due to mental health issues, but I’m going back this fall! So excited!!)

What kind of art? - glad you asked. Im really into Frutiger aero and cybercore at the moment, so that’s what I usually base my art around, but I really don’t have one set style/“aesthetic” in my art. I go in between Frutiger aero, cybercore, y2k, scene, mizuiro, and basically anything else that I can sneak the color blue in

Music I’m into - I don’t mean to be one of those “oh I’m into everything” kind of people, as it’s not fully true, but it’s true like 90% of the time. My favorite genres right now are metal core, emo, whatever Ayesha erotica, millionaires, and slayyyter are, and ambient instrumentals (more specifically cybercore ambience and the little big planet soundtrack) I will not listen to most country, and pop music is very hit or miss, but other than that I usually like everything else. Specific bands I’m into include bad omens, mcr, motionless in white, spiritbox, and pierce the veil

Shows/Animes I’m into - hot take but I really don’t like to watch tv *gasp* I know I know, but it’s so hard for me to start new shows and keep watching them, especially if episodes are longer than 20-30 mins. Even with anime I have a hard time watching shows that I wasn’t into over a year ago. I’m really into JJK, Haikyuu, Yuri on Ice (rip), the aquatope on white sands, and tbhk

Tute, and Pedro Tute. Viridi: They can't possibly all be related. Palutena: Alas, that's one of life's great mysteries. Pit: Sebastian's really throwing around these instruments, though! I've dodged pianos more times than I thought I would! Palutena: It's not just pianos! It’s the end of class and you’re packing up your stuff to head home, the halls were very crowded today because of all the damages the ninja and robo-ape’s have done. You spot Theresa outside and run up to her.

Theresa noticed you running towards her and waved at you. You came to a halt and tried catching your breath, “Ok, so who’s house are we going to for the sleepover”? You asked Theresa, “I think it’s Juggos turn today”.

We waited for the bus to finally leave and once it did we discussed what we would do once we get to Juggos house. You got off the bus at your stop, you ran up to your front door and took out your key to open it.

Once inside you dropped your stuff in your room and hurried on packing stuff that you would bring, your pjs, sleeping bag and pillow. You got a message from your mom saying that she would be there soon. So you put on your shoes and decided to just be in your phone while you waited for your mom.

You were scrolling through social media for a bit when you came across a post Julian did. It was a pic of you so concentrated on a project you and him were doing in your English class. It was were you and him were assigned on creating a story. You both decided to do a backstory on a monster you two have created during a der monster klub meeting.

You smiled a little at the post then decided to comment on the post saying “m/n (monsters name) shall rule the world as his!!!”, once you posted it you laughed at yourself. You heard the honk from your moms car and quickly got up and grabbed your bag then headed out the door towards the car.

Once you got to Juggos house you waved your mom bye while she drives away. You felt excited because of the amount of fun stuff that Juggo has in his room. You knocked on the door to be greeted with Julian, “Y/N! Oh I’m so glad you were able to make it”. Julian gave you a big hug which you returned back to him.

Once Julian let go of you he let you inside where you greeted everyone else. You all were thinking on either creating more monsters or playing games that you guys brought. You said that you have smash bros, omori and undertale including your switch of course. Also uno, you knew that once the game of uno started it would be a disaster.

You all decided to play just dance that Dave brought for Juggos old WII. You have played this game on your brothers old WII a lot so you are very skilled on this game. You have won every round so far and you are very proud of yourself, “Haha, there is no one to be able to defeat me”, you said to yourself in a very dramatic way.

Just then Julian stepped up “Oh what’s this? Someone dare challenge me? Well go ahead then challenger”, you handed Julian a controller and you let him pick the song and he chose ‘I’ll sleep when I’m dead’ by set it off. The dance started alright then started to get more intense with the music.

You had it alright for a while in the song but you just now are starting to get tired but you refused to give up. You gave a quick glance at Julian to see how he’s doing and he seems to be getting a little bit tired but still had enough energy to keep going. You of course wouldn’t let that happen. So you kept going until the song finished.

Sadly you lost because your foot slipped on the floor causing you to loose a point you were close on getting. Causing Julian to have it instead. Julian helped you get back up. Once you all finished playing games you decided to have dinner. A reason why you liked coming over to Juggos house was because his mom made amazing food dishes.

You all discussed about your monsters and who would be the next to host the meeting. Once you all finished you all headed to Juggo room to set up your sleeping bags and brush your teeth. Dave and Julian went to sleep because they were tired while you, Theresa and Juggo were talking a bit until you decided to go to sleep.

Time passed a bit and you couldn’t sleep. Just as you closed your eyes again to try and sleep you felt someone give you a little nudge as if wondering if you were awake. You turned to see that it was Julian that was doing it. You sat up a bit, “Julian what are you doing awake?”, you asked him, “Sorry to awake you Y/N, but it’s that I had a nightmare and I didn’t like this one in particularly”.

You felt sympathy for him so you told him, “I can lay next to you if you want to help you be able to sleep if you want”. You gave him a little smile and he nodded back liking the idea. So you scooted your sleeping bag a bit so it could be next to his. You both laid down you extended your hand towards Julian to see if it would help him. Julian accepted the hand.

You gave Julian a tired smile and wished him sweet creepy dreams. He accepted the saying and wished the same for you and like that you both fell asleep with Julian knowing you were next to him if anything happened he knew you would keep him comfort.

what music/games do you all listen to

Doc here. The rest of the crew is out on operations and Carl is in surgery for the fifth time this year, so I'll answer you. Sorry 'bout the delay.

Mistral likes Arch Enemy a lot. I didn't really take her for a death metal gal, but hey, what do I know. She listens to a lot of New Wave, too. She LOVES Blondie and got me and the guys (except Sundowner) into Joy Division. Mistral also listens to a lot of film scores to wind down, especially Gladiator and Blade Runner.

As for games, I know she's a big fan of older action games, the older Resident Evils, Quake and Doom and whatnot. Talks a lot of shit in fps forums.

Monsoon is...something. Handing him the aux when we go out is like a game of auditory Russian roulette. He could put on some Ros Sereysothea from when he was a kid. He could play nothing but Die Antwoord. He could play 70's Queen. He could play incoherent electronic sounds until you scream at him.

He's the biggest gamer out of all of us, his favorites are DMC and Bayonetta. He's competing in the Wii Taser Boxing tournament with Sundowner and I now, and if he wins, we'll be hearing about it for the next six months.

Sundowner is a simple man. He likes rock, country, and that's about it. We have a lot of the same taste in country artists, we grew up on Cash, Nelson, Jennings, and, as much as he'll deny it, he'd take a bullet for Dolly Parton. Sadly, with the exception of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Motörhead, his taste in rock is a bag of hot shit. Once I tried to tell him Five Finger Death Punch is for angry alcoholics with erectile dysfunction and he just yelled "HELL YEAH BROTHER" and cranked it louder.

He isn't really a video game guy. The only video game he plays is Wii Sports, and he only plays it because I challenged him.

Sam, interestingly enough, likes grunge and 80's rock. Some of his favorite bands are Van Halen, Foo Fighters, and Iron Maiden. He can sing almost every Black Sabbath song in Portuguese. He's been trying to learn Eruption on guitar. Once we were out drinking and he somehow managed to play it flawlessly on some kid's ukulele. I guess beer gives him guitarist powers. Oh, and he loves Shakira. No matter where he is, if you put her on, he will drop everything and get up to dance. Flawlessly.

Sam's our second biggest gamer. He's a fighting game guy. I still can't beat him at Mortal Kombat or Guilty Gear. He could probably thrash me with his eyes shut, too. Maybe I'm too old for this shit.

Intern Carl probably listens to Imagine Dragons or some dumb shit like that. Probably plays Tetris on his stupid little phone.

I listen to a lot of country, I also had a buddy back at ArmsTech who got me into industrial music. We used to swap cassettes while we worked, I'd listen to his mix while he'd listen to my Merle tape. I hope he's doing well.

I haven't gamed much. I remember liking Half Life a lot when I was younger. Had a coworker who's last name was Freeman, so I used to mess with him, talking to him in an awful G-Man impression...miss that guy.

So, last night I downloaded a bunch of DS rhythm games - mostly ones that had previously fallen under my radar. The issue with the DS' library in particular is that there was just. A lot of shovelware unceremoniously dumped onto it, so while there are a lot of worthwhile games on it a wide range of genres, finding actually, like….y'know…good stuff takes considerable digging. Thankfully, I like digging in the ground for tubers I mean good games

One of the titles I downloaded - and one that I posted about a little bit last night - was Monster Band (released as Music Monstars in Europe). It's an Elite Beat Agents-like, in that you have to hit shrinking targets in time to the music. While the gameplay itself isn't really a whole lot to write home about, the graphics are simple and fun (reminding me more than a little of Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove on the 3DS), and the licensed soundtrack, as stated previously, is fucking bananas. If it had been in production a few years later it would have one hundred percent had an endearingly shitty MIDI of Shakira's Loba in its roster.

Something about this game made it feel like a DSiWare title - it's short, it's simple, but it's so so weird. I think it's definitely worth checking out, if for nothing else than the pure novelty of some of the choice choons in it. It also includes a tool to let you mess around with the digital instruments that the game itself uses for its soundtrack, so that's pretty neat - I'm sure someone more musically-inclined than I could get a lot of use from that; I personally just smashed out the riff of Megalovania on the organ preset and called it a day.

Strangely, Europe got a pretty tonally-appropriate cover, while America got box art that was no doubt intended to confuse parents who kept getting harangued by their kids about the newest Rock Band game:

The other game I tested out…is…something called Dance: It's Your Stage! Apparently this was a multi-platform release, and while the Wii/PS3/XB3 versions are DDR clones (with the WORST arrow layouts I've ever seen in a game of its ilk. Yippee!!!!!!!!), the DS version is…also an Elite Beat Agents clone, except where Music Monstars was a lesser EBA clone for its lack of variety in its gameplay, this is a lesser EBA clone because it's simply not very good in any capacity, specifically not offering any of the feedback that EBA showcases.

Elite Beat Agents' marble mechanic, where you roll a ball from one marker to another at a consistent tempo so it "lands" in time with the music is by no means my favorite part of the game, but it does work in that game. Each note also plays a sound to let you know that you've hit it on time, but Dance: It's Your Stage has none of this auditory signaling, the marble mechanic confusingly never plays back at a speed that seems to fit the track (which is notable for how often it crops up in the charts), and….ough, the soundtrack.

I kind of knew instinctively that it was royalty-free music. There's nothing wrong with stock music - it's something that a human, somewhere, made. It's admirable. Royalty-free music, by design, however, is kind of made to slot in into the background without calling attention to itself, so it's an extremely odd choice for a rhythm game - none of the tracks are enough to really grab you, and all of the music is around the same middling BPM, so it's hard to convince yourself that there's really anything in the way of diversity in the audio.

Oh wait hold up. Live update while I'm typing this: this game was apparently a tie-in to a reality show that got cancelled after one season for low ratings. That makes sense. Uhh, I dunno, play Ontamarama instead of this. Ontamarama unironically rules.

Spring, 2022.

These days, time hasn't been particularly kind to Bambina. Anxiousness threatens to overwhelm her as she incessantly taps the screen of her phone, scrolling through people's Instagram stories. Harvard, Columbia, Yale, UCLA, Northwestern, UPenn, Boston Uni… it seems like everyone from her school has received their acceptance letters and is flaunting them on the platform. Yet Bambina… still nothing. Jealous? Absolutely. Heartbroken? Beyond words.

Bambina wasn't the top student in her class, just average. But she was the captain of her cheerleading team, participated in numerous economics Olympiads, and organized many events. She thought it would be enough.

Bambina blink her eyes fast as there's a knock at her door. "Sweetie, can I come in?" her mom's gentle voice calls out, waiting for a response. "Uh-huh," she half-shouts, allowing the middle-aged woman to enter and sit beside her on the bed.

"아이구… 내 딸… 빛나야…," her mom embraces her, gently patting her head. "I know you're upset. But I hope you don't lose hope, okay?" her mother tells her, tightening the hug. "…but it means…," Bina breaks the hug, trying to hold back tears. "The only hope for me is WII, right? In Seoul…?" she emphasizes the city name, knowing it's a tough decision. "Yeah, Seoul? The city where your dad and I first met," her mother smiles, followed by her daughter's groan, tired of hearing that story.

"Okay, okay. No story-time! But," she playfully hugs her daughter again. "But I can promise you. You'll love the city as your second home. You can also visit your grandparents and our families there more often. And WII is a prestigious private campus there!" she tries to brighten the mood. Bambina decides to just smile; no need to complain or argue at this point.

"So, what time is the admission decision again?" her mother asks. "Um, it should be…," she looks at the clock on the wall, trying to calculate the time difference between Seoul and Los Angeles. "In ten minutes…?" her uncertainty makes the old woman gasp. "WELL what are you waiting for??? Bring your laptop here!!" she tells her daughter, getting excited, the opposite of her daughter's reaction.

It's not that Bambina doesn't want to go to Seoul. It's just… she hates the fact that she'll miss this city, where she was born and raised. She'll miss her parents and baby sister, her friends, her dogs, the places she loves to go… it's hard to leave LA.

Minutes pass, and she keeps refreshing the page, waiting for her application status to update. Then suddenly, a new notification pops up, causing the blood in Bambina's veins to rush. She closes her eyes for a moment, praying for the best result.

"Ready?" her mother asks.

She sighs, shaking her head slightly. "Here we go."

And she clicks.

How many pieces of gum have you chewed today? None. But the last time I chewed gum was in December when my teammate and Resident Gum Supplier Ruthie had a pack of gum with her and was giving it away after our team dinner hahaha.

Any big events coming up? There's my resignation coming up which I'm really looking forward to. It's really what my body and mental health are asking from me at this point. I'm still job-hunting at the moment, but in case that takes a while to settle I also have an agreement with my current company that they're ready to have a spot for me moreso for backend support – which I'm fine with. Oh, there's a lot to get into here! I actually didn't grow up with RtDL, I barely grew up with Nintendo at all. I was a Sonic kid until 2015, when I got my 3DS and a couple months later Kirby Triple Deluxe. I thought it was OK, but when Planet Robobot came out that's when I got REALLY into Kirby. Hasn't left my thoughts since then. Then Team Kirby Clash Deluxe came out. Actually, I barely noticed Magolor. And then Star Allies came out too. I also had Dream Land 3 and Kirby 64, because for some reason once I chose Dream Land 3 over RtDL and didn't even end up playing all of the first level.

Sorry for the long set-up there.

My love for Magolor came, all at once, in mid 2018, from just reading a Kirby Wiki page about him. I read everything. His story. His betrayal. His reappearance. His design. His dialogue. I looked at all the pictures. I wanted the merchandise. I was instantly OBSESSED with him. I drew bad quality fanart. Imagine my excitement when later that year he was announced as a Dream Friend for Star Allies as well!

After Super Kirby Clash came out and I played it for a while, Magolor fell out of my thoughts for a while, but I was thinking about Kirby a bit less as well. He still remained my favourite, and that came back in full-force when I unlocked him the next year in Kirby Fighters 2 (and also whenever I replayed his Guest Star campaign...)

After this, a few years pass by. I still go back to older Kirby games, and every once in a while I play as Magolor. In 2022, I go on a Kirby game buying spree on my Wii U and 3DS and one of those games was RtDL. It was strange seeing an earlier version of one of my favourite "formulas" for a game in such a modern way, but I had a lot of fun with it and it cemented Magolor as one of my favourite characters not just from Kirby, but in general.

THEN they announced Return to Dream Land Deluxe. I couldn't be much more excited. It'd be great to see all those levels in a more modern light, and I get to see Magolor again! And THEN the existence of the Magolor leaked and shortly after a trailer came out too. I was RIDICULOUSLY excited. I get to play as Magolor, who was EXTREMELY fun in Star Allies, across brand-new levels! I waited, I pre-ordered, and it came out. I loved it. I played the game literally all day, for over 9 hours, until 1am as soon as it arrived. The whole main mode, and up to the final boss of Magolor Epilogue (but I didn't manage to beat it until after sleeping that day...)

To summarise, I love Magolor's design, I love the way he talks (and across the series he probably has more dialogue than any other character), I love all of the lore surrounding him, I love playing as him, I love fighting him, I love everything. Magolor means a lot to me.

Doly, Doly, Doly! My dear friend, I’m sorry for going like a week without sending a message! This week really got away from me. How’s your vacation been? How’s Hail Mary? I hope you’re doing well!!!

Oh my brother always hated having to share with me cause you know I was the annoying little sibling who wanted to play with all the stuff he had. It was the only way I played like any video games until I was in my preteens and got a wii and DS but I’m not sure which one was first lol. But I still tried to play games on his stuff.

We definitely would! There’s so many concerts I wanna go to and I can’t wait till I feel comfy enough to start going back to them!!! I’d absolutely go see Niall in a heartbeat. There’s just something about live music that really is magical. And it’s also one of those human moments of “I’m in a room full of all these people and we’re singing the same songs and love this person on stage.” And what a feeling that is. Especially for an artist that makes you feel like at home, that is truly special.

How exciting! Let me know how you like it once you get it! I found that I enjoyed it quite a bit! And I’ll have to see if I can find them! I took photos of that installation like six years ago now!

I want a Louis hoodie so bad! I have one of his shirts but it’s kinda old, too small and the back art on it is peeling. My favorite YouTubers announced they got married recently and oh my heart, it was so sweet. For streamers I feel like I rarely catch the streams live so I watch a lot of vods or people editing down the streams to the important/good bits. I think I said I tend to wear a normal like baseball cap? I’m not sure how else to describe it but I wear it when I’m having a bad hair day or just don’t wanna deal with it. I got to wear my beanie today which was nice since I rarely get to! It was pretty cold so it worked great when I went out/had to let my dogs out. I will say, I think I prefer ice skating to roller skating! I’ve been roller skating a normal amount and I think I’ve only gone ice skating once but it was so fun cause it’s just so different! I’d love to do it again. Italy! How exciting! I bet it was beautiful. I know this sounds crazy but I’m not sure of the last time I had a mango/if I’ve ever had one really. I know I’ve had kiwi but it’s been a very long time so I dont remember much about the taste. Cleaning carpet is awful! I’ve stained my carpet horrendously by accidentally leaving a tube of black paint out and stepping on it 😐 and then a blue drink spilled on my beige carpet sooo. I like it in my room but probably nowhere else in a house.

Since it’s the holidays: if you have a Christmas tree, do you prefer a fake or real one? I understand the appeal of a fake one 100% because there’s no cleaning up, watering and throwing it out like a real one and plus it’s a one and done payment for years to come! However, im a sucker for a live tree. I love smelling the tree in the house and I love going to pick one out!

Do you dilly dally? Like when running to the store are you someone who gets everything they need and then goes straight to check out or do you kinda get pulled in by other things not on your shopping list? I feel I can do both but I absolutely dilly dally more than anything. I get distracted easily like when Walmart was open 24/7 my dad and I would just be like “we should go get snacks” at like 1am and then we’d be there for an hour and a half… it’s why my mom refuses to go inside Walmart with him.

Do you prefer to use the stove/oven or the microwave? Like when I make soup I make it on the stove my friend makes it in the microwave. And like a stouffer’s meal I make in oven every time my friend will just the microwave. Like even when making water I’ll boil the water instead of using the microwave. I hate using the microwave for most things I’m not sure what it is or why but it just feels better using the stove/oven.

When it comes to jewelry, do you prefer gold or silver? I personally prefer silver. I think it just looks better on me! But I feel that I don’t wear much jewelry anymore at all.

I can’t remember if I’ve asked but which do you find more interesting or even scary? Space or the ocean? I feel both are equally so fascinating but also absolutely terrifying!! I love the ocean though, I used to want to be a marine biologist sooo and someone tried to tell me we’ve explored a lot of the ocean so there was no point in being a marine biologist and I almost lost my mind cause anyone and everyone know how little of the ocean we’ve actually explored!

Do you enjoying sparkling water? I personally am not a big fan. I just don’t like the taste of almost jay of them! I think it’s very rare for me to find one I like.

Speed Round Answers!! Fake/real Christmas tree? All my life, I’ve only ever had fake Christmas trees, so I’d probably say that only because of convenience! If I had my own proper house, then I’d say yes, probably! Even if it’s just for one holiday season!! It sounds like something nice to have and I do like the smell of pine trees lol. When you get the chance, I’d love to see a picture of your tree when you can!! Do I dilly-dally? I can wholeheartedly say that I’m a dilly-dally kind of person!! I have to go down almost all the isles to find things that I would like, both when I’m grocery shopping and clothing shopping; hell, even just window shopping when I’m not buying anything!! Lol. I think I get it from my mom cause she’s the same way I am where she has to go down every isle, unless she’s in a rush for one specific thing. I’m definitely someone who’s down for snacks in the late hours of the morning lol. Microwave/stove? For convenience, I’m a microwave user, but I’ve also realized the importance of using a stove to reheat food! Especially things like leftovers, they taste better reheated on the stove than using the microwave!! Unless it’s like 3am and I’m hungry for something I’ve set aside, I’ll just pop it in the microwave and hope for the best lol. Gold/silver? Depends on what I’m wearing that day, but I would probably say silver! I think it goes with everything a lot better than gold does. I say, as someone who doesn’t wear jewelry all that much except for their ear piercings that have mismatched earring on that follow no specific pattern whatsoever. Space/ocean? Both are equally as cool as they are absolutely terrifying!! While there is still so much of the ocean that hasn’t been discovered, I can agree and say that we can definitely keep it that way!! I’d say space travel (I wouldn’t go up into space myself, but the idea of it does sound exciting nonetheless). Sparkling water? Not a big sparkling water/soda drinker. I haven’t watched a good movie in a long time!! The last movie I saw in theaters was My Policeman. Just out of the sake of my lack of movie engagement, I’m gonna say that!! It has a really good message about love and loss, especially in a society that didn’t allow that kind of love to happen. While many current places are still restricting lgbtq+ people today, it shows we have the ability to move past that kind of mentality in the upcoming years!! Underrated movie? Hmmmmmm…. I’m not sure. I’m gonna go with the easy answer and say the Andrew Garfield’s adaptation of The Amazing Spider-Man. I really enjoyed those movies when they came out and seeing a lot of people undermine the cinematic masterpiece that it is makes me sad. I haven’t seen Nope, but I heard a lot of good things about it. Never heard of Glass Onion though. Might have to take a look.

i’m so concerned how the lifespan of memes are shortening. Like, someone will make a joke, then people oversaturate the joke across multiple platforms, then corporations try and capitalize it which is the unspoken signal that it’s dead and gone. I don’t see much room for the meme to evolve or live in internet consciousness to be used again, even as a vehicle for other memes/jokes and not as the central meme/joke in and of itself. I get that everyone wants to get in on the meme and trend themselves (who doesn’t wanna go viral?) but idk, we gotta give breathing room for it and maybe even enjoy the funny variations it has instead of sharing it all at once, at the same time.

Like, doge and top text/bottom text and vines are old by internet standards, and while people don’t use them as The joke anymore, they’ve since been used in other media content, even right AFTER they were considered “old” and they live on through that. “Huh? Fuck, banana peel.” Then his words sink in, and you pause the game. “Wait. Captain? Seriously?”

“Yeah. I mean.” He rubs the back of his next awkwardly. “I know I’m not the captain type, but if you think about it… Would you trust Tora with the team?”

“Fukunaga, then.”

Kenma stays silent.

“You can say you just wanted to do it. I’m not going to.. like. Make fun of you or anything. Yeah, you’re kind of scrawny for a captain, and far from the most athletic-“

“Okay, now you’re just being rude.”

“-member of the team, but you have the heart and the mind for it. I think it’d work. Kenma! Oh my god.”

He shrugs, as if he hadn’t just directly attacked you with a fake item block while you were complimenting him. “You were being rude,” he repeats. “But thanks.”

“You don’t deserve me. Admit it.”

“You’re saying that like I don’t already admit it on the daily.”

“Oh, don’t get sappy on me.”

“I’m serious. You’re my best friend since Kuroo.”

“Your only friend since Kuroo?”

“Stop being rude.” He laughs. “I’m not afraid to push you off a cliff and back to 6th place.”

“Well,” you turn to Kenma as the pair of you cross the finish line, you a few milliseconds after Kenma. “I think, in honor of your promotion to captain, I should also get promoted. To Best Best Friend Ever in Kenma’s Whole Life.”

He likes the sound of that, but just to tease, he says, “Uhm… Kuroo?”

“Irrelevant. What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”

“God, you’re making this sound like some sort of affair.”

Best friend in my whole life, huh, he thinks. Nice.
