Hu Tao and Furina being friends is the best thing that has happened to me in a while actually. Like they’re canonically working together, so I reserve the right to say that they end up being best friends. Sorry not sorry!!!!!

They match each other’s energy so nicely, and Hu Tao would constantly be teasing Furina with scary/morbid shit just to get a reaction out of her. I feel like they’d visit each other a lot, Furina going to Liyue and Hu Tao going to Fontaine every now and again, and just crashing at each other’s places for a few days. When Furina has an episode (I hit her with the C-PTSD ray), Hu Tao will just cuddle her on the couch until she stops crying and she’s ready to talk. They’re super touchy, not in a romantic way but definitely in a very platonic “I can’t go anywhere with you if you’re not holding my hand” way, if that makes any sense. When together, they’re always really close, because they both know that the proximity is comforting for Furina, and Hu Tao is perfectly willing to offer her space to her mysteriously sad best friend.

Sometimes Furina has to third wheel on YanTao dates, but Yanfei doesn’t mind at all- they actually get along quite nicely, discussing the intricacies of legal systems together, and banding up to tell Hu Tao to stop saying odd shit in public.

If anyone cares, my nearest and dearest headcanon is that duck is aro bi and fakir is bi ace and they’re queerplatonic best friends/partners. He has romantic feelings for her and she doesn’t return them. This isn’t to say Duck cares about him any less—she doesn’t feel that way about anyone (through their friendship she becomes comfortable enough to admit that). They’re both aware of this dynamic and happy with the relationship they have.

my freshman year of college I was approached by members of this christian group on my campus and I hung out with them even tho I’m an atheist because they reached out to me first and I was open to hanging out with them as I needed new friends and honestly initially had fun hanging out with them. before the semester had started there was someone I met on a roommate site that I was going to room with but my university ended up putting us in singles by each other. I had invited them to hang out with me and this group and they weren’t like me and couldn’t easily say no to their advances to going to church stuff and I still feel bad about it years later. and I especially now see how these groups try to recruit loners or new students who don’t really have friend yet into their community which if I was a christian I’m sure would’ve seemed great but alas christianity is about trying to covert others to your religion and I was not about that
