opened the fanfiction site for some tf2 fanfiction walked away from the fanfiction site 5 seconds after entering absolutely deranged thinking about my tf2 ocs (they were put on a tiny hiatus as the splatoon ocs and a guy in my head (<- a character/world i use to merge all of my interests ever which funnily enough started as a resident evil thing but now has uhm uhhh smiles (it now has like mechs and crazy godhood shit call that the plot of FUCK i remade evangelion again)) basically took over all of the oc space in my brain)

but oooo vampires... im so normal about them.... one is like a proper full vampire the other is like 1/2 to 1/4th idk still figuring it out and they are like cousins... but they dont know at first...

the problem with me is i will make up a joke npc for gw2 rp with @soulfullofold and then a day later he will have lore. anyway this is Vax Madmaxim, he does unethical science and got drowned in a vat of dragon blood by Bingus Ruinbringer. the dragon blood fixed him, though

"mad scientist"-type who is taking a systems ecology lens to everything, from steam machines to magical constructs to biological organisms. unsatisfied with conventional engineering, he starts dabbling in dragon magic to construct biomechanical monsters. (see: I failed bioethics)  

contracted in secret by Bangar Ruinburger to figure out how to control an Elder Dragon. Vax came up with the idea of tapping Jormag's blood, initially as an experiment in manipulating Jorms (a la contriving weapons out of Kralkatorrik's blood.) Later, of course, this is used to convert the Dominion to Frost Legion en masse when things start going south.  

caused an international incident during Legion-Dominion peace negotiations, which involved a gladiatorial tourney, two Pact Commanders, a hydra made of Searing crystals, and highly confidential Dominion blood magic.

Vax was thus detained and, for his failures, dunked in the vat of jormag juice that he had helped create. Bunkbed Ruinbringer evidently didn't need a way to control Jormag anymore, and Vax had greatly overestimated how indispensable he was.  

Jorms later drags him out of the tub and uses his half-dead body to set a trap for the Commanders, by turning him into a shambling blood-bomb (see: jormag bloodbag.) Given that this is the second worst thing that's happened to him since the worst day of his life, he isn't a very cooperative dragon thrall. He'd also developed some sort of nemesis-rapport with the Commanders by this point. As his last act, he warns them away, just before violently retching dragon viscera all over the floor.  

He was supposed to die-- Jorms was done with him-- but my man saw himself being turned into a disposable vessel of primordial goop and said "oh so im pupating? guess i'll metamorphose." I don't think that was Jormag's doing. I think he Just Did That. (see: change of heart)  

the newly eclosed Icebrood Vax offers himself to the Pact as a weapon against Jormag, repurposing his earlier research for more benevolent purposes. (see: staying positive)  

uhhh what else. nominally Iron Legion and functionally a gladium, but like hell is he going to let them take his name away. his allegiance is to unethical science first and whoever is willing to pay him to do unethical science second.  

Has kind of always been a piece of work, but became a bigger piece of work when he lost the "mad" warband under mysterious circumstances. Incidentally, this is when he started making frankenstein chimeras. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Today is January 2nd, 2025. One year ago, I thought it would be really funny to make this blog to make fun of @totally-bing , who in turn created their blog to make fun of the late Firefox (@electronicmail ). It used to just be me and Bing against the world and a couple older gimmicks like us, and now look at what we accidentally created. An entire gimmickverse!

For years, I always had this dream (that I slowly deemed more and more unobtainable) to gain some sort of internet stardom. To have an effect on people in a meaningful way. Now, look at us! There are hundreds of people who created blogs and found a community because being a gimmick blog sounded like fun. There are thousands of people who saw our posts and thought they were funny enough to keep coming back.

I've had so so much fun building this community with you all. To my most faithful followers who've been around since the early days, I recognize your names and pfps. I smile when I see you interact with me. You mean the world to me.

@totally-bing My dearly detested. Thank you for joining me in my quest to make fun of search engines. I'm still better than you but all our silly inside jokes and lore make me so happy!!

What if hit campaign convergence were to end up in the qsmp, an au. Aka I realized both jrwi convergence and the qsmp had important things that were eggs so I made an au about it.

So the 7 eggs from convergence become alive/sentient when the crew ends up in the qsmp after another world hop. And on one hand they can leave but on the other whenever they try the eggs just run off so no chickens crossing the road for them.

Oh also I did name the eggs. From left to right it's: Yggdrasil, Bingus, Mayo, Brooklyn, Ranger, Nebula, and Spore.

Also this follows my personal canon since convergence is currently not finished and therefore lore is my jungle gym. Anyways after saving the universe from the convergence they all just stay together as a team to do lil odd-jobs <3

They also wouldn't be trusted much by the Islanders at first OR the federation. The feds are NOT happy about the convergence crew just appearing on the island out of nowhere. But slowly the Islanders come around to them like "Oh the federation doesn't like you so you've got to be against them"

Anyways Kroe somehow becoming a staple babysitter for eggs and being on that single parent grind with 7 eggs while Strangle is off finding a way off the island and accidentally befriending like Cellbit and Roier, Kasper is off doing who knows what being labeled as suspicious by everyone, Flynn accidentally ends up in exile and is concerned, and Alastyr is befriending silly scientists

what skins do you use with dress my slugcat for your series? i really love them and if possible would love to download, however i of course understand if they aren't available. (i adore the rivulet pup changes, jibs face, and bingus's scruff!)

Oh, its actually a combination of different DMS mods that are already available on Rain world's steam workshop. I have so many downloaded that I'd have to go in an individually switch them on and off to be able to tell which sprites belong to which mod.

But I think I remember at the very least what DMS mods I'd been using during recording. You also have to use Pups+ mod in order to dress the slugpups.

The mods are: Lizardcat, Wolfycatt's Assorted Sprites, Sea Critters, Miimows Art-style Legs, and OnO.

I think that's all of them that I used for the pups. The one for the surrogate organism is currently not available at this time! But I plan on uploading them onto the workshop eventually??
