I finished my portrait of Vico Ortiz as Jim in OFMD, in time to get it printed and take it for them to sign at London MCM comic con later this month - as well as giving them one to keep. I'm doing the same with Samson Kayo as Oluwande, and Rhys Darby as Stede Bonnet, as they will be there as well. I've already met Con O'Neill and given him a print of my portrait of him as Izzy Hands, and he signed my copy "Kirsty I love your art!" which was very sweet of him. I still need to meet Samba Schutte (Roach) and Taika Waititi (Blackbeard) though - but less likely as they don't visit the UK so often.

Soooo… I’m doing an OFMD burlesque performance

Hi all~~

I’m so excited about this that I can’t wait till the end to share it, so I want to share my work-in-progress. I’m working on a burlesque performance, it’s basically Ed pre- and post- “break-up” in season 1!

Here’s a glimpse of the costume and beard so far!

I’ve got a lot of little surprises that I won’t be showing until I debut it, which I think the OFMD fans will love and those who haven’t watched the show will be totally confused by.

I’ll share the final product when I debut it!

A gift for @violence-as-a-love-language in @ourflagmeanssecretsanta! one of the things they asked for was a mercreature AU with Lucius/Pete. I kind of envisioned this as everything as happened in canon, along with Lucius getting tossed overboard, but Pete as a mercreature (part eel) who rescues him. (who made Lucius' finger then? I have no idea)

the prompt for #ofmd #mermay was soup! roach (who was portrayed by the incredible, samba schutte ), truly was a culinary genius onboard the revenge and i think the inventor of peanut paste, deserves his own soup franchise!

An AU fic idea swirling around my head. Stede inherited a tailor shop and through years of hard work has created a fashion empire with his crew. He insists on using real people to model his clothes and one day in walks Ed: the owner of a Security firm who is bored with life.

Ed: You don't think it's a bit... Loud for me?

Stede: Oh Ed, a lion has to roar

Through ups, downs, misunderstandings and outside interference they stumble towards each other.

But as Stede is hopeless in saying what he feels he shows it through his needle work, gifting a one of a kind scarf made with pieces inspired by "all of the parts of you."

How is Ed supposed to NOT fall for that? (instead of the depression robe, he has a depression scarf 😭)
