The only good thing about having to go through so many (oh, god, SO MANY) screencaps to make the stizzy cuddling manip was that I found a few ones that would work very well on other compositions so it wasn't too difficult to get this one ready.

Michael blatantly manhandles David in private anyway- we don’t need a photo like that to know it’s happening ;) I’m more than happy with that gorgeous shot at the awards of Michael with a protective arm around David’s waist.

YES. Absolutely could not agree more with everything you’ve said here, Anon (especially the part about Michael blatantly manhandling David in private). You are so right...we definitely do not need a photo like the one of David and Marc to know it’s happening. I think that’s what frustrated me about that manip gaining so much traction, is that a fake pic that (to me) gives off purely platonic vibes (the original, I mean) somehow makes Michael and David more ship-able than all the real pics of them together, just because they’re not being so overtly physical.

(Side note, but I’m suddenly realizing how much this parallels a lot of the GO/OFMD discourse that’s been going on...)

But yes, that moment at the NTAs of Michael and David in the press room is just one of the most gorgeous things I’ve ever seen, and I still don’t think I am over it. I’ll put the gif here again just so we can enjoy it once more:

So utterly protective, and possessive. So thoroughly intimate, and it becomes even more so every time I look at it. How can anyone see this and think they don’t know the lines and curves of each other’s bodies? Michael is touching David like he knows exactly how and where to touch him, and it’s not the guess of someone touching a friend for the first time--it’s deliberate, and familiar, and the way David not only welcomes the touch but melts right into it is just everything.

I’m very much with you, Anon...I don’t think we need a picture like the manip that was posted the other day, or any picture of Michael and David all over each other in public when pictures like these speak such volumes, and we know there is a high likelihood that it’s happening in private. So looking forward to more GO 2 goodness and the day we start getting more new Michael/David content again...

This is it, this is happy Iz with friends that like him and are nice to him.

Man, I'm just in love with the idea of the OG Marianne/Hornigold's crew (which I consider to be Sammy Bellamy & CJ) + Anne & Mary being simps for Izzy. Hell, you can throw in Charlie Vane if you want even.

Them being so excited to see him, a choir of voices screaming "Izzy!" and Izzy just getting swept away into their chatter, gentle teasing and jokes (not at him, they're joking with him). They keep on touching him casually too (or less casually *cough* Jack *cough*): a hand clapping him on the back, arm around his shoulders etc.

And Izzy just... Preens at their atttention, looks actually happy and relaxed, with a genuine smile on his face.

(The Revenge crew gawpes at him in shock and Ed ends up having an existential crisis in the background, cause why doesn't Izzy smile like that at him anymore?)
