See I don't really want to convert anyone to Christianity? Nor am I looking to. Need to make that clear before I continue.

A lot of people believe in a god because it offers to them a sense of comfort. Some people do it because they genuinely believe in a higher power. Religion is a very personal thing, you can't really boil it down one way or another. That's why any church who tries to tell you why to believe in God, well they might get some people but they won't get all. Believe in Jesus cannot solve all your problems. Or, well. I'm sure he can. But you will still hurt and life is a bitch. You can't reel people in with the promise of a perfect Christian life because then people will be sorely disappointed.

And. That's not even really getting into how corrupt a lot of the churches are out there. Unfortunately the problem with any organized religion is belief in a higher power can only go so far when any institution acting as its mouthpiece is human. The language of the gods tends to get a little mistranslated along the way. And then hypocrisy starts wading into the mix. And people like to use god to excuse their own actions.

And I mean I don't even really know why I'm religious. It could be many things. I've said before my relationship with faith is complicated. It could be guilt making me stay. It could be my parents converting me at a young age. It could be because I do believe there's a higher power out there. It could be because it's easier. Who knows? But my reasons will not be your reasons.

I'm not trying to dissuade you or anything haha but. Well. If you're ever thinking about converting, you can get a second opinion, join a community, go to Sunday church, but you can only ever really ask yourself why

I don’t like getting intense over petty things, but why are people calling large paragraphs “bad formatting” now. It’s just formatting. Sometimes, a larger paragraph serves its text well, and sometimes it doesn’t, and there is a LOT more that goes into making a text block readable than length alone.

I gathered a few sources from the professor who coined it, a thesis written on it, and a law review written about the connection between it and laws in the USA. There's some connections between its use in feminist thought and in queer theories, and I'd love to know your thoughts about it. I personally was thinking of when [specific statement] was said, and how I would apply this theory. I hope it's as interesting to you as it is to me."

Hello everyone, been a bit, huh? (IMPORTANT)

This isn't Vian speaking, unfortunately. This is their girlfriend, @electro-bunkit, speaking. You might be wondering, what happened to Vian? is the Amalgaverse dying? What happened ingeneral? well, I have all the answers. First off, I want to say a massive thank you, to the support, love, fans, friends and family that Vian had. They love you all so much, and they wouldn't want this fanbase any different. Unfortunately, as you may or may not know, Vian.. passed away. They might've posted about it here and there, but they were dealing with an illness, that.. unfortunately, took their life, unexpectedly, on October 16th, 2023. Hence, their inactivity. I'm so sorry for the news. You guys should've been informed sooner. Unfortunately, I didn't get a hold of this account, until now. (Massive shout-out to Vian's little brother (who I shall not name)) Now, where is Amalgaverse going, since Vian has.. unfortunately, left this world? Well, I, Cookie, will be taking care and ahold of the account, atleast, the Amalgaverse one. I'm gonna post more about it tomorrow maybe? It's late for me. Sonic is the perfect person to give Shadow the "give the humans a second chance " speech in sonic 3. Of all the fluffer puppers, he has the most experience with the humans. His experiences with humans were a mixed bag. He saw both good and bad in the humans, just like how the original speech mentioned both good and bad aspects of humans

Sonic spent 10 years silently observing the humans like a living ghost, unable to truly interact with them, out of fear of exposing himself and getting exploited for his power by greedy assholes , then he was chased by asshole Robotnik who apparently wanted to use him as a guinea pig/power supply slave forevermore. He was also almost made into barbecue hedgehog by hostile locals in that Siberian cabin (now granted they warmed up to him after pivonka but still) . He got locked in a cage by GUN.

But on the other hand he had so many wonderful experiences with the humans. A whole ass town of humans banded together to stand up for him against the stinky egg. The people of green hills seem to genuinely like him. Hell his adoptive parents are humans and love him (and his siblings) more than anything. Jojo seems to admire him as well.

This is a conversation that NEEDS to come from Sonic, not from Amy Rose. If this conversation doesn’t come from Sonic in the film, I’d be very disappointed. It would be a missed opportunity.

I’ve had this thought since 2022. I’ve even shared this again back in May. Sonic will have a better understanding of what Shadow is going through in this continuation. He has first-hand experience of what the humans are like. He’s seen the good and the bad. And he’s quite capable of having this conversation without being demeaning. The “Sonic” that we saw with Knuckles on the roof in the miniseries is the “Sonic” to expect for the third film. He’s matured quite a lot since the first film.

Please understand that this is NOT a hate post towards Amy Rose. Not at all. I love Amy Rose very much. What I’m saying is that this moment would NOT work with SCU! Amy Rose. It worked well in the games because A). We’ve grown up with her (we know her beginning point and her now), and B). She was at the right place at the right time and happened to say something that triggered a memory within Shadow. Those that want Amy Rose to give the humanity speech in the film are expecting an exact copy of SA2. It’s been stated multiple times that this is not Sonic Adventure 2: The Movie. Even if Amy Rose does appear in the film, we don’t know if she would be the same version of the one that we know from the games. Remember: these versions of our beloved game characters are younger, as well as come with new characteristics that handle different situations.

So what would that mean for Amy Rose? It would mean that the humanity speech was not for her to give. And that’s okay. Give her a newer moment that outshines SA2. She is much more capable and deserving than that. I would very much love to see her shine in new light and bring something new to the table.
