#oc: knucker

I may have been late for World Snake Day but I’ve got three of my other serpentine OCs done and I think these two deserved their own post. You can’t expect me to separate the tall Venomari wife and short Constrictai husband.

Also, tail accessories, weaponry, etc is really fun to draw on serpentine with long enough tails.

Now the best way to describe these two is that they are side characters but they are important.

On the left is Melusine. She's a Venomari woman and a mother to a Constrictai-Venomari hybrid (who won't be relevant until Next Gen and/or Dragons Rising if it needs to be redone but I digress). Now she did have a mate before the Constrictai but she had lost that Serpentine man and their nest during the First Serpentine War. The war dragged for a bit and because of that tribes were beginning to work together which eventually lead to her meeting Knucker.

Now Knucker is a fine Constrictai warrior, one of the finest actually. He’s more considered hands-on brawler type of fighter. In Serpentine culture, strength is above all else because it means strong warriors and even stronger and healthier hatchlings so he was well-respected in his own right.

He was actually alright in the ways of being a warrior and nearly scoffed at the notion of peace. At least until, he saw too many die under his watch and he was left to rot by his general too. This would be around the time Mel would meet Knucker as she was a medic as well in the war. The two would bond and eventually twine tails and of course end up separating in their tombs before reuniting.

Melusine is the one who convinced the Constrictai warrior to leave the tribes and follow up on the origin of the rumors about a Serpentine Rebellion so they could stop Pythor's plans on releasing the Devourer, hopefully prevent a Second Serpentine War, and advance further with humans so their own hatchlings wouldn't ever have to worry about fighting the moment they left the nest.

So basically a battle couple of Serpentine with the eventuality of them becoming Papa Wolf, Mama Bear.

The next piece will be Attor.

Amara: "Do you think I have the patience to boil it on a stove?"

Cherri: "It takes less then a minute..."

Amara: "Like Seven minutes..."

Velvet: "Just stick the mug on the top of the stove on medium heat and it boils it in two minutes. Less then that if you use a saucepan"

Amara: "I- You putting a whole mug on the stove? On medium heat? Your stove is enchanted!"

Shelly: "Everyone in this town is a fucking idiot."

Astra: "Do none of you own a flipping kettle?"

Scylla "Coldsnap" Noriker: An Otter Thiren that is as loving as an Otter Looks, and just as vicious as they really are. She loves her family (when they aren't annoying the absolute shit out of her.) Despite her love of frozen treats and enemies, She's a big fan of the warmer months.

"Everyone needs to Chill out!" - Scylla before freezing everyone on the battlefield, including her siblings.

Ice/Anomaly Agent

Keenan "Knucker" Noriker: An Electric Ray Thiren, very skittish and fearful, but in that way, deeply brave by standing beside his siblings in dangerous situations. He loves his sisters and Brother (If only the younger ones were a bit more productive.) Loves people, hates talking to them.

"I'M NOT BUILT FOR THIS!" - Keenan, blocking a Typhon Slugger's strike and proceeding to decimate it with ease.

Electric/Defense Agent

Violet "Queen" Noriker: A Wasp Thiren that really acts like a queen ... That is to say, Somewhat full of herself and bossy. Not haughty and Vain, but confident and flippant. She is rarely punished for this, so it's hard to say she's overconfident. Nothing gets her down, but when she's down She's down.

Ether/Anomaly Agent

Jasper "Bomber" Noriker: A Falcon Thiren, as bullheaded as teenagers come. Flippant, lackadaisical, and aloof, he grinds all his siblings gears as much as they grind his. He's not dumb despite acting like a meathead. He says he loves his siblings, but at the same time he hates them for being on his back so much.

He has a sword collection.

Tallest OCs?

Well for the most part it’s my Serpentine Women that are actually currently the tallest.

I had the idea that like real life snakes they’d be bigger than their men and lore wise I think it was meant to counter their men’s strength and with that they’d find their match in combat like Amazonian women so they’d make stronger, healthier snakelets. (which was the most inspiration I took for the Serpentine women)

Melusine would be seven feet while her husband, Knucker, a Constrictai man is perhaps around five feet (closer to a human height) and Belladonna was eight feet tall (almost nine cause Anacondrai are a big ass snakes and she was big as fuck too) but she isn’t alive anymore so she doesn’t count now. (Rip to a legend.)

I would’ve went with my Dragon Samurai women but they took on human appearances so they don’t count either. (The humanoid dragons though would’ve been nine foot but again they don’t count since they don’t necessarily appear.)
