Our lancer campaign is coming to an end, but dang if we didn't have some banger NPCs I'm going to miss

* i finished redesigning my main iterator ocs ... this is the trinkets group and while i dont have proper full names for all of them i do have nicknames

* everyone in the trinkets local group has some sort of point of interest that they study / research / create !

1. "Parade" (he/him) - second oldest of the group, point of interest - slugcats . creates a concerning amount of slugcats , redesigned his Guts (as in the superstructure interior) to be slugcat-safe , even changed his name and slightly modified his puppet to reflect slugcats . his favorite is the byproduct which was an accidentally created slugcat-like blob organism resulting from trying to make a beetle cat lol . cut off the rest of the group cuz in his eyes they were pestering him to stop doing what he loved )basically the QUIT HAVING FUN image) (his original (as in pre-redesign not in-universe) name was Parade Of A Thousand Slugs in reference to thousands of slugcats Parading in his superstructure lol)

2. "Flicker" (it/they) - youngest of the group (along with skies) , point of interest - ice (and the safety of its friends) . has a little purposed overseer that they send into the others' cans to check in on them , really doesnt think abt ice that much but its half of the two's shared can is very cold

3. "Skies" (she/they) - youngest of the group (along with flicker) , point of interest - fire . her half of the two's shared can is very very Hot . got a Fire Slugcat from parade as a "i dont wanna talk to you guys anymore but im not dead" gift or something . dating breeze . also likes picking on flicker and is a bit impulsive and has a short fuse

4. "Comets" (she/star) - oldest of the group , point of interest - unknown, assumed to be pearls . unlike everyone else she doesnt make use of broadcasts and instead replies to everyone using pearls delivered by her freaky little messenger star named bubblegum . everyone ( especially flicker) is worried star'll collapse soon bc of her age ... sends most of her pearls to flicker . seen as serene and wise

5. "Breeze" (she/her) - a little older than skies and flicker , point of interest - vultures . has a "pet" vulture named charlotte and a dedicated overseer for making sure shes safe named pixie . just thinks birds are cool !! dating skies . im still kinda workin on her . very jolly

6. "Stones" (they/them) - aged somewhere between breeze and parade .. point of interest - the rot . Uh so basically they used to find it super fascinating and eventually bc of research caught it themself and shrugged it off as "oh yay i get to do experiments on them now!!!!" and lets justr say . letting lots of rot cysts crawl around your can is not a good idea! somehow their puppet rotted on the inside and it severed their head . regret regret regret

KONYA WA HURRICANE

a friend of mine showed me about 20 minutes of Bubblegum Crisis 2040 (i think? there's a lot of these) before her internet died and my main takeaways were

Dusty already knows, but I decided to share with ya’ll that I’m into Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel now!!

Now if you may recall I made a post about a horror-style OC I had that I worked on with my teenage cousin (I have a teen cousin in high school! She’s v mature and the only minor I ever let see my stuff) and she’s actually transgender. I never posted her official design but she’s been repurposed and now…

Meet Candace Kayne! She went from serial killer to ridiculous party girl who drank too much, popped too many pills and had too much sex. But she didn’t die of any of those things, oh no. Bar fight. Some asshole brought a machete and sliced her in half, hence the thin red stripe in the middle of her dress. She’d been doing disguised drugs as standard candy since childhood. Now she’s in Hell.

In one quote:

In short, she’s insane.

For height reference she’s a teensy bit shorter than Angel Dust and Alastor but that’s ok because her full demon is MENACING (and I can’t draw it but I swear I know what it looks like)

And my cousin’s ok with this btw. Please don’t attack me over letting her see this shithole, this is just how high schoolers are these days.

Redfall oc time :33

These are Ronan (he/her) and Parker (She/They).

Both grew up on Redfall, and they “can’t stand each other”. Their dislike of the other started as a petty rivalry on their soccer team and only grew from there. It’s only a little before things start going wrong that the two start to tolerate each other.

When vampires take over, Ronan gets turned into a vampire but, like Jason, he is not evil (but he is totally enjoying the cool perks of being able to float and teleport). Parker, on the other hand, gets sacrificed to the Hollow Man’s cult by her ex-bestie. In a weird turn of events, it goes wrong and the friend dies instead (I’m thinking maybe it got interrupted or.. something? Idk yet), making Parker the one “accepted” into the cult. They very loosely play along.

I haven’t figured out exactly how Ronan and Parker team up, but I am intrigued by the bloodkin cultists (wish we knew more about what that’s about). But anyway they do team up somehow, and start really playing up the whole “we’re evil we loooove vampires and uh… the hollow man. Oooooooo”, while actually trying to help the survivors and people at the fire station. I’m thinking they set up dead drops full of medicine and other necessary things for them to find.

That’s really all I have for now, but these two are constantly in my mind and I’m trying to work out their whole deal more and more.
