Hello my lovely, happy STS!

The Wand and the Wolf is now told from Feathers POV. We get a Birds Eye view, literally, of everything, and a running monologue of just how much he loves Ibhan!! Until he meets Kyda of course with her soft Afro of hair that he burrows into on natural hair days, and Imogen with nectar filled flowers in her hair and he suddenly has new favourites. It is a more distracted story for sure, but I think it’d be very entertaining.

(If I remember correctly this was just a ramble ask so here I go)

OC ramble - What’s wrong with them edition!!

Riaz - a superiority complex if you ever saw one, somewhat of a bully and a loner though that last part isn’t unusual for warlocks. He didn’t take a familiar because of his attitude, though now he finds that he wants the companionship that only a familiar shadow creature brings. I think his superiority complex stems from his insecurities fed by the lack of a parents approval as a child. He’s just a baby and needs hugs.

Ibhan - sarcastic softie, he loves his bird and his garden. His sarcasm is a defense mechanism curated after his brothers disappearance. It keeps most at an arms length so he doesn’t have to feel the heart break if someone leaving all over again. Secretly he’s afraid he will end up like his brother, insane and lost, but he’s more afraid to end up like his father - bitter and angry and stoic.

Feathers - sweet little birdie with no thoughts in his head other than how to get into Ibhans seed collection without being spotted. He loves Ibhan and he loves Kyda more, especially in her wolf form since she makes a soft little nest for him to lay in. He’s the perfect little crow and there’s nothing wrong with him at all x

Kyda - she’s got significantly less family trauma compared to all of the others but she does carry the burden of her fathers legacy, it’s one of the reasons she works so tirelessly. She’s afraid of disappointment and craves validation and it often means she feels like she can’t be alone because then she can’t be of service and subject to approval
