This is a bit of a hard one, ngl! He's mostly oblivious, reserved, and silly! Reasoning: He's usually very oblivious with his surroundings. Instead of struggling to focus at all, he focuses TOO much on what's in front of him or what he's doing. So often, he'll be eating or something and everything is normal, then he'd look up and suddenly Leviathan is threatening to summon Lotan because Mammon somehow 'insulted' Ruri Hana by calling her 'just a character'?!?! The other two words are a bit more self-explanatory. He doesn't like to speak much and he doesn't like sharing information about himself, and also he can't take many things seriously for the life of him. Say that him and Leviathan are into the same game; He'll make jokes about the SADDEST parts and cackle as Leviathan tells him to stop. Though he also laughs at cat memes so it's hard to say exactly how his humor is! 29. How does your MC cope with stress?

He simply doesn't! Aka, he's got struggles with escapism and maladaptive daydreaming (which doesn't help with his oblivious nature). He does use humor to cope as well, though it's mostly jokes about him not having a father and it ALWAYS catches people off guard. No build up, he'll just randomly compare something to/blame something on his father figure being non-existent and then laugh about it. (When people don't laugh, he's literally just "Guyssss :( You're supposed to laugh!!!!") 47. What does your MC do when angry? Cry. This poor man cannot handle anger, so he just sobs uncontrollably. Also, the thing is, he's very hard to get angry! So it takes something BIG to piss him off. Do they have a nickname?

Yes, he has! In fact, her name came from a nickname her mother had given to a friend of hers, Hae (which in Hangul means “the girl who is like the ocean” – but there are variations that say it means “Sun”, one day I will find out if it's true), but since Hae is a girl's name, she put an L at the end and turned it into Hael. he scowls, blond hair falling in front of his eyes. “that’s unfortunate. fine! i’ll permit you to keep living with them, as long as you don’t let them touch you anymore. they’re not subtle about wanting to sink their claws into you!”

“i’ve got it!” luke says suddenly, leaning across his bed and grabbing one of the many stuffed bears. he offers it to you. “this has got my scent all over it! this should help keep theirs at bay and help protect you. promise you’ll keep it with you?”

“i promise,” you say, taking the bear from him. he also doesn’t need to know that the boys barely register his scent, weak due to his lack of age and power, especially compared to theirs.

He would go to take your hand in his, flinching as he barely touched your hand, watching you turn around immediately.

As you lashed out at him, his once calm smile would slowly fade to a frown.

Once you realized it was him you covered your mouth and apologized, trying to stop the tears from coming out of your eyes.

He really wanted to hug you, but as he reached for you he restrained himself, not wanting to upset you or scare you. It's not even something he wanted to think about.

If you gave him permission to hold you, then he would immediately wrap his arms around you, holding you close and resting one hand on your back, the other on the back of your head, keeping your head pressed against his chest, eventually planting a gentle kiss on your forehead.

"It's okay. You don't have to tell me why you reacted like that... but I'll be here to listen if you do."

He would listen to every word, not judging you. If you didn't tell him then he wouldn't mind either, just comforting you the best he could.

"Oi! Oi!! Oi!!! It's jus' me, darlin'." He put his hands up defensively, just moving to get something out of your hair but earning a lash out from you.

Once you realized it was him you sighed and apologized.

He shook his head and put his hands down, pouting softly and murmuring; "I thought ya' were mad at me."

You assured him that you weren't, cupping his face and caressing his cheeks with your thumbs.

He leaned into your touch, the pout slowly subsiding, reaching up to your wrists so he could keep them still, asking if he could touch you this time before touching you as you consented.

He sighed and gently held your wrists, giving you a worried expression.

He didn't ask because he didn't wanna pry, but you could tell he wanted to know, so he could comfort you better and try to understand why you reacted that way to his touch.

"It's okay. I shouldn't have snuck up on you." He admitted honestly, not holding it against you.

You sighed in relief, glad he wasn't angry at you for lashing out towards him.

He did seem concerned at first, but realized that he may have been in the wrong and taking your past into consideration, not wanting to hurt you or make you uncomfortable.

He walked with you, not attempting to touch you for a while until you told him that it was okay to do.

"It's okay, hon. I should've asked before touching you." He admitted, taking your small gesture as a sign that he could safely touch you, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into a comforting yet loving embrace.

He held you for a while, eventually whispering to you; "I'll be there for you if you ever wanna tell me." He said, noticing the trauma in your eyes as you turned around earlier, not pushing anything and giving you an affectionate smile.

You nodded, calming down and listening to him change the subject, wanting to get your mind off of those bad memories and focus on him again. Even if he changed the subject to himself, he was still endearing.

You perked up and smiled brightly at his words, glad he understood you and didn't make a big deal about you lashing out towards him.

Firstly, I dislike the tone you’re using when calling him gay as if that’s a bad thing? Every obey me character is queer, so jot that down.

Secondly, mammon looks good in both feminine clothing as well as more masculine clothes, so if you don’t like that he’ll look a lil feminine sometimes then look inwards and ask yourself why that bothers u cause idk what to tell you

currently thinking about Satan in nightbringer vs in the original

thinking about how in nightbringer he's always outside HoL when he wants to be alone since the others are always in the library + they keep chaining him to his bed, so he most likely doesn't feel safe in his own room to begin with

how Asmo keeps trying to invade his personal space (asking to do his hair, nails etc.) and doesn't take the hint, and how Lucifer casted a spell on Satan so he physically could not leave his side for a while, and how he's never really allowed the time to properly work through his emotions

that dinner party where the others all started talking about the Celestial Realm until Satan eventually stormed off

the way he describes being in their presence as torture and refuses to see them as his brothers, yet he's instantly calm around MC because they treat him decently

how the others kept complaining over how the demons of the Devildom were treating them-how they were discriminated against because they're fallen angels-yet they keep on treating Satan, the only full-fledged demon of HoL, like some feral animal that has to be put down in two days

currently thinking about how the very first thing we learn about Satan in the original is that he masks his emotions

him saying that he loves to go on walks alone and how he gets to meet all kinds of different people that way

thinking about how he's usually in the library instead of his room

when they were all up in the human world and the other brothers were outside stargazing, meanwhile Satan stayed inside. And when asked about it by Lucifer, he claimed it was because he wanted to read before offhandedly mentioning that they're reminiscing about the Celestial Realm and he won't understand any of it anyway

he now gets along better with all of his brothers and yet, when the two of them got lost once, he told MC that there's no need to worry, because his brothers would come looking for them, making it a point to add that they wouldn't search for him

that time Satan ran away to the human world and Levi, Asmo (arguably the two brothers closest to him) and MC came to bring him back. How he started getting angry at one of their questions, so they opted for running away instead of even attempting to comfort him in any way

how his first response after Lucifer told him to leave HoL was to actually pack his things; how he was fully intent on leaving, and how when MC comes to check on him, he instantly tells them that his brothers would never stop him from leaving, that they think it's funny

the way he seemed genuienly surprised when MC accepted after he asked them out to the dance, and then admitting he actually thought that they wouldn't want to go with him

MC being his main source for comfort, and Satan even calling them his sanctuary. How before MC it was books and cats; his room being filled to the brim with books, to the point it's become a safety hazard, and him always carrying cat treats with him

currently thinking about how Satan's first instict whenever he gets angry is to isolate himself, if possible even lock himself up in his room for days on end and how his brothers don't seem to pay it much attention (Levi once said that they already had a shut-in, they don't need another one). And how he doesn't even necessarily need to give into his wrath, how simply getting worked up over something someone else said is enough for him to isolate himself

also thinking about the whole idea of 'you become the person that would have saved you when you were younger' and how Satan in the og game is literally so full of love and very kind, patient and compassionate when given the chance to fully be himself

So i headcanon that demons (maybe angels too) have more than 1 heart…

Imagine that one day your demon darling invite you to dinner and ofc you agree! So you’re talking with them waiting for ur meal then it arrives. On the plate it’s a cooked DEMON heart and it’s not just any demon heart it’s your demon’s heart. Them smiling and said “do you like it?”

Apparently, demon do that to express love to their mates and it’s also one of the most imtimate ways (in demon’s sense) to show love.

the monsterfucker in me is always intrigued by the differences in how a nonhuman would express their love lmao of course most people would be surprised if their demon lover presented them with their second heart but after initial shock and them explaining if you think about it….you cant help but be (strangely?) touched like wow this person really likes me huh (///∇///) so we r pretty much soulmates! presenting one of ur hearts is a pretty big deal just from a logical standpoint, cause u forever nerfed urself for someone

yea you know demons sometimes like to eat each other (and humans sometimes) but humans dont really do that as a casual activity and it usually gets you ostracized lol

u cant help but feel a little bad not eating it though…they cooked their whole second heart, they had it removed from their body which probably wasnt a painless thing to do but for your demon its mainly a way for them to show their devotion more than anything ,,,tho i know some of those brothers were actually expecting you to eat it lol it would be very funny if you both were sitting there after you were like aww thats so sweet and then he was like….well r u gonna eat it? :]

lucifer leans against the doorframe, watching you. you don’t note his presence, too absorbed in your activity, which seem to be less cleaning and more dancing.

you’re not trying to be good, or impress anyone, and lucifer can’t hear whatever music you’re listening to, so the overall effect is more comical and than impressive, but as lucifer watches, he thinks it’s actually quite cute.

then you begin to sing, and it takes everything in his power for him to stifle his chuckles, not alert you to the fact that you’re being watched.

you finally turn around, freezing when you see him. “um, hi,” you say, pulling out an earbud, and your embarrassment is quite adorable.

“hello,” he says quietly, unable to hide his smile. “quite the moves that you’ve got there.”

“ugh, don’t even!” you cross your arms. “why didn’t you say anything! this is so mortifying!”

“because it was cute,” he replies simply, honestly, and somehow, you get more embarrassed.

mammon calls out for you, knowing you’re home, but when he receives no answer, moves further into the house. when he finally finds you he can’t help but stop, struck by how funny you are.

you’re totally in your own world, using the duster like a microphone.

normally, mammon wouldn’t hesitate to whip out his ddd and take a video, as it would doubtless garner thousands of likes, but something stops him. he kind of wants this moment all to himself.

eventually, when a few minutes pass and you still don’t notice him, he moves further into the room, reaching out to you. at his touch on your shoulder, you spin around, startled, then break out into a grin.

“oh, hey!”

“how goes the cleaning?” mammon asks with a wry smile, and you shrug, unashamed.

“eh, well enough. how was your day?”

“better now that i’ve that,” mammon says, and you roll your eyes.

“yeah? well, you know what would make my day better?”

“what?” mammon asks, folding his arms. he already knows the request is going to be dumb.

“if you dance with me!”

you stare at him with an expectant smile, then hold out your hand. with a half-sigh, half-laugh, mammon takes it. “i can’t hear the music,” he warns, and you shrug.

“that’s okay. that only mean’s i’ll have to lead.”

levi is struck by a cuteness overload. “oh my gosh!” he mutters to himself. “this is straight out of one of my domestic, slice-of-life animes like i find my partner dancing in the living room while they’re supposed to be doing chores. how lucky am i!”

on top of that, he can hear you humming the tune and it’s totally one of ruri-chan’s theme songs! you’re like, the most perfect person ever!

eventually, you seem to tire out and stop for a break. levi moves in then, heart pounding.

“mc, that was so cute! you should totally become an idol and dance and sing on stage!” he pauses. “wait, no, don’t do that! i couldn’t bear to share you with anyone else. i’ll get jealous!”

“when are you not jealous,” you ask, turning to face him with a smile. “and don’t worry, i don’t have any plans to go pro. how ling have you been home?”

“oh, you know, a few minutes,” he answered nebulously, and you squint at him.

“you’ve totally been watching me, haven’t you?”

“it’s like when a fan sees their favorite being cute,” levi defends. “i wasn’t going to spoil the moment.”

“you’re such an otaku,” you say. “but, thankfully, i like that side of you so i suppose that’s fine.”
