Hey there<3 may I ask a HC about law and other one piece men(your choices) about their S/o accidentally called them their boyfriend. Like imagine them already married to their S/o for years and their s/o accidentally called them their boyfriend in front of other. Well that's all from me i hope you have good day and I'm sorry if my request are hard to understand (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
Characters: gn x Law, Luffy, Zoro
Cw: none :)
Total word count: 1k
(Not) Just a Boyfriend
Law
“It’s so good to see you again!” You smiled at your old friend across from you.
“The same to you,” he responded. His eyes slid over to Law. “And who’s the lucky guy?”
You blushed, putting your hand on Law’s chest to introduce him. “Oh right! This is my boyfriend, Law.”
“Husband,” Law quickly corrected. You could feel him tense at your mistake, but his eyes were cool and collected as he reached out to shake the other man’s hand.
“Husband?” The man challenged, taking his hand.
“Husband,” Law said firmly. You could sense the tension between the two men, but you chose to ignore it, smiling and pretending like everything was normal.
--
Law didn’t bring up your misspoken words again until you were back in the room, away from everyone.
“Why’d you introduce me wrong?” Law asked, untying his bowtie. He was already cranky from having to attend a formal event, and your words certainly didn’t help his mood.
You let out an exasperated groan. “I’m so sorry about that!” you cried, turning to face him. “I was already fumbling over all my words and I didn’t mean to do that!”
He smiled a bit, relieved that he wasn't over-exaggerating. He didn’t want to turn his concern into a giant fight with you. “So I’m not demoted?”
You covered your face with your hands. “That was so embarrassing. I should be the one demoted.”
He hummed, thinking about the possibility for a second, and then walked over to you. He pulled your hands away from your face and wrapped them around his body, and you melted into his warm chest. You were exhausted from the night and seeing so many familiar faces. All you wanted to do was crawl into bed and fall asleep listening to your husband’s heartbeat.
“I’m so sorry about that,” you mumbled into his chest. You didn’t think you'd ever live that down.
He laughed and kissed the top of your head, already forgetting the incident. “You have nothing to apologize for. Let’s get some sleep.”
Luffy
“Holy shit, Y/N,” your friend whispered to you, pointing at the bar. “We should go. I think that’s a Yonko.”
“Huh?” you glanced up from your drink and followed her gaze to Luffy. “Oh yeah, wanna meet him, Cecilia?”
“Meet him?” she squeaked out. Her eyes were wide, mixed with fear and excitement.
“Yeah.” You stood to your feet, pulling her along with you. “Oi, Luffy!” you called.
“You can’t speak to a Yonko like that!” Cecilia gasped. She pulled away from you as Luffy’s eyes turned to look at you.
You laughed at her reaction. She was so afraid for no reason. Luffy wouldn’t hurt anyone unless they gave him a reason to.
“I can speak to a Yonko like that,” you said with a smile on your face. “Especially when he’s my captain and my boyfriend.”
Cecilia’s eyes practically bugged out of her head at your words, but Luffy frowned at you.
“Boyfriend?” he questioned. “Did I get pushed back down to boyfriend? I didn’t know that could happen.”
“You’re right. I misspoke,” you said, planting a kiss on his cheek. He gave you a goofy grin in return, making your heart skip a beat.
“My captain, and my husband,” you corrected, wrapping your arms around his neck and looking back at your friend.
Poor Cecilia was ready to faint, being so close to such a powerful man. You couldn’t blame her. Luffy’s haki was so strong naturally, sometimes it made people a little woozy being around him.
“You’re on the same crew as a yonko?” she whispered. Her eyes were filled with awe and a little bit of envy and they darted between you and Luffy.
“If we're going to get married again, can we have a bigger banquet this time?” Luffy asked, looking at you.
You giggled in response, planting a kiss on his lips this time. “Sure, babe.”
Zoro
The man next to you at the bar was flirting with you. You were aware of that. You weren’t stupid, but he was one of the only people in the bar who wasn’t either a crewmate or a complete creep, so you dealt with his flirtatious attempts in order to have an intellectual conversation. It was starting to get unpleasant though, and you could feel his attempts getting stronger and more personal.
Zoro must’ve noticed the man’s over-the-top friendliness with you, because you felt a strong arm wrap around your shoulder.
“Hey gorgeous,” Zoro’s voice purred in your ear. “Mind if I buy you a drink?”
You giggled, and you can see the guy next to you shoot Zoro an irritated look.
“Hey buddy, do you mind?” He hissed out.
“I think my boyfriend can buy me a drink, buddy.” You smirk at the man across from you, finally fed up with his entitlement. You can feel Zoro next to you sending the same cheeky grin, and the man’s mouth falls open in shock.
“Boyfriend?” the man questioned, looking between you and Zoro.
“That’s right,” Zoro said, bending down and pressing his cheek against yours. “So buzz off.”
The man grumbled and stalked away, leaving you and Zoro alone at the bar.
“Bartender,” Zoro called. “Another round for us, please!”
He took a seat next to you, and the bartender filled up both of your cups with your respective drinks.
“So,” Zoro said, his eye sliding over to you. “Boyfriend, huh?”
“Huh?” You asked.
“You called me your boyfriend,” Zoro said, raising an eyebrow at you.
“I did not.”
“You did.”
Your mouth fell open, trying to think back to that moment. “Oh shit! I did, didn’t I?”
He nodded, staring at his drink while he swirled it around in his cup.
“Hey, asshole!” You screamed, looking around for the flirtatious man in the bar. “He’s my husband! Not-”
“Hush!” Zoro hissed, clamping his hand over your mouth to get you to be quiet. “It’s not a big deal! Don’t make a scene!”
“But-”
“You still love me right?” He flashed a cocky smile. “Then I don’t care what you call me.”

Hi could I request Diasomnia crew with a s/o who knows martial arts?
I swear this is the last diasomnia not-separate 🤭
everyone is here (with a lil focus on malmal), oh, and i enjoy bullying sebek a bit too much🤭🤭
Tumblr media
,,Child of Man, I've been thinking...Perhaps, it's time we hired a knight for you"
At the sound of Malleus' proposition, you opened your eyes, suddenly feeling wide awake. You rose slightly from the comfortable place in his lap. You titled your head to one side, looking at him questioningly, trying to determine whether he was joking or not.
Malleus Draconia wasn't the type to crack some jokes.
He was deadly serious.
A knight ? For you ?
It seemed a bit too excessive, in your opinion.
,,A knight ? Why would I need a knight ?
You asked him, confusion audible in your voice. Before Malleus could even respond, you heard a soft, yet amused chuckle from the distance. You supposed that Lilia was eavesdropping on your conversation with Tsunotarou. You didn't even bother trying to spot the bat-fae; he was probably hiding somewhere in the bushes or branches. You briefly glanced at Malleus who was carefully observing you, as if he was scanning your face, trying to predict your reaction. He cleared his throat before he spoke up once again.
,,It would be wise. There should be someone to protect you, in case we're not around"
You furrowed your eyebrows, as your head once again layed in Malleus' lap. You could feel him gently running his fingers through your hair, playing with lose strands. Your eyes fell on Silver and Sebek sparring few metres before you. Their swords were cutting through the air, furiously attacking each other. You knew Lilia was nearby, probably silently observing their match from afar and noticing their weak areas that could have been improved.
,,I don't need anyone to protect me"
You said firmly, turning your attention to Malleus who only raised his eyebrow. He clearly didn't believe you, as a soft smile appeared on his lips. He sighed heavily, as his curious gaze seemed to pierce through your form.
Perhaps Lilia was right in his prediction that it would be quite hard to convince you to agree to his proposition. Malleus only wished to protect you, especially given the relationship between you two and his status as future king of Briar Valley. He was a bit concerned that some Faes may attempt to hurt you.
You appreciated his concern. Truly.
Yet, you were more than capable of taking care of yourself and protecting yourself. And you were going to prove it to Malleus.
,,Oh, is that so, Child of Man ?"
Judging by the amused and condescending tone of his voice, Malleus had absolutely no faith in you. You rolled your eyes, playfully nudging him.
,,Actually, I will show you ! I trained martial arts for a while back in my world and I was pretty good"
,,Oh, please do"
You remarqued quite confidently, your eyes stopping once again on two figures before you. For a brief moment you seemed pensive, quickly assessing two man in your mind. You weren't sure which knight you should pick to prove your point. You only watched their training from time to time, if Malleus or Lilia invited you.
You didn't know their particular fighting styles that well, so you could only guess who would be the easier target,
Suddenly, you felt a soft breeze gently brushing against your skin, as warm breath slightly tickled your skin. A hand rested on your shoulder, as you jumped in surprise. You didn't have enough time to turn around, as the mysterious figure leaned down and whispered in your ear.
,,Little One, you could simply pick one who annoys you more"
At this point you were sure that your cause of death would be heart attack caused by Lilia Vanrouge himself popping out of nowhere and scaring you. However, he had a point.
What a splendid idea, you thought to yourself.
,,Thank you for the suggestion, Lilia"
You responded, grinning, clearly delighted with the idea. You stood up, brushing any excessive grass from your pants, before you waved agressively at Sebek, trying to grab his attention.
,,Sebek Zigvolt ! Fight me !"
You yelled, managing to surprise both Silver and Sebek, who immediately stopped their fight. Lilia let out a chuckle at their perplexed and confused faces. Malleus only raised an eyebrow, clearly amused with the whole situation. Although, he couldn't help but worry slightly.
After all, you were just a human, meanwhile Sebek was a professionally trained half-fae knight.
Sebek furrowed his eyebrows, processing your words, before his face twisted in grimace.
,,What, no ! I will hurt you, Human ! You're just a weak mortal !"
Great, as always Sebek was subtly insulting you. You were certainly not weak and you were going to prove it to him teh hard way.
,,Oh, come on, Sebek ! Don't tell me you're afraid that some weak human could beat you in the fight ?"
You yelled back, your voice clearly teasing and railing him up, which was exactly what you hoped for. Perhaps your taunts would hurt his pride and temper and he would agree to your provocation.
Sebek was hesitant.
He actually wouldn't mind wiping that arrogant and confident smile off your face, however one look from Malleus told him otherwise. He glanced at his Master, who was eyeing him carefully. Sebek could literally feel chills on his back from Draconia's icy glare filled with subtle threat.
Sebek felt that if he managed to land a hit on you, his Master would personally murder him. He took a deep breath, his fists gripping his sword firmly, as he shook his head once again.
,,No need to worry, Malleus"
Lilia's amused and carefree tone broke through the silence. Silver looked at him in disbelief. His arms were crossed on his chest, as he was contemplating the situation. On the one hand, he had hope that the possibility of you decking Sebek existed and he would love to watch it; but on the other hand, he was a bit worried that you could get seriously injured. After all, his fellow knight wasn't known for his gentleness.
You approached them both, teasing Sebek once again, trying to rail him up so he would agree to your proposition.
,,Come on, Silver ! You gotta help me convince him"
,,I'm not sure if this is a good idea"
Silver responded diplomatically, eyeing Malleus and Lilia sitting in the shadow of the willow tree. They were whispering, but from this distance, he couldn't make out what they were talking about exactly. Given the cheerful look and playful smile on his father's lips, probably nothing good.
Silver sighned heavily. Now you and Sebek were screaming at each other, trying to assert dominance and convince the other party. Silver was definitely inviting you to a nap after this.
,,Your precious human will be alright, I can assure you of that, Malleus"
Lilia leaned forward and sat near Malleus, who didn't take his eyes off your form for a mere second. Diasomnia dorm leader clearly wasn't believing his friend. He eyed him suspiciously and in disbelief. There was absolutely no way that he was letting you fight one of his knights and possibly get hurt.
,, I've seen them in action once. They will be fine, I can't say the same thing about Sebek"
Lilia stated calmly, as Malleus' eyes widen at his words. Oh, that was quite unexpected. He supposed that if his caretaker was allowing this, he should be fine with your proposition. After all, Lilia was never mistakened in matters concerning any type of fighting.
,,Did you spare with them ?"
Malleus asked, as he glanced in your direction. You and Sebek were eagerly screaming at each other, as Silver stood there massaging his temples, as this arguing was giving him a bad headache.
,,Oh yes, once. I even gave them few tips. "
Malleus nodded his head in an understanding way. Lilia was quite proficient in fighting and throughout his long life he had learned plenty of martial arts. When he spotted you practicing by yourself in secret, he was more than happy to guide you, watch you train and offer some tips on how you could improve.
Lilia was confident that you could absolutely destroy Sebek in a fight. You were less aggressive and more agile and faster than him.
Malleus waved his hand, giving Sebek a green light.
,,Thank you, Tsunotarou ! You will definitely love this !
You exclaimed, as Sebek only rolled his eyes at the sound of your voice. He certainly wasn't planning on using his full strength in order not to severely injure. However, he wasn't the type to go easy on you either.
,, I will go easy on you, Sebek. No need to worry "
You said confidently, smiling softly. Your words clearly irked him, as Sebek scowled in indignation. As if you were the one who would get hurt.
Silver tried to mask a giggle escaping his lips by coughing diplomatically, as he took few steps back, to give you two enough space for your battle.
You were positive that you were going to deck Sebek.
Tumblr media
To say that you got carried away a bit would be an understatement. You went absolutely feral and you certainly didn't hold back at all.
That "weak" human had kicked Sebek's ass and decked him hard.
,,You broke my arm !"
,,Your incompetence broke your arm, Sebek"
Silver responded, before he started laughing at Sebek's misery who only yelled at him. Lilia was currently observing Sebek's broken arm, assessing the damage you had inflicted, as his one hand gently tapped his back, telling him not to be so dramatic. Meanwhile you were repeating your apologies over and over again, as if they could magically heal Sebek and his shattered pride.
,, Hmm, I suppose you were right, dearest Child of Man. You don't need a knight"
Malleus' calm voice shifted your attention from Sebek yelling at you once again. You smiled slightly in embarrassement. You didn't mean to injure one of his knights.
,,Well, I didn't mean to break Sebek's arm. I swear it was an accident"
You began explaining yourself, yet Malleus brushed you off with a mere wave of his hand, signaling you not to worry about it. He was impressed with your skills.
,,Don't mind him, Child of Man, that was quite an entertaining show, I must admit"
You shook your head in embarrassement, hiding your face in your hands. Malleus certainly wasn't helping you right now. Not even mentioning Silver who was also having time of his life. Silver tried to mask his wheezing in the background, but he failed splendidly. It was the greatest thing he had witnessed this week.
,,Y/n, you need to teach me some of your moves "
Silver suggested once he stopped laughing at Sebek's misery.
,,I will teach you how to wield a sword in return"
At Silver's suggestion, your eyes widen in surprise. You liked that idea. Malleus seeing sparkles dancing in your eyes and excitement oozing from your figure, only shook his head, sighing heavily.
This was clearly a bad idea.

No longer locked upon the land but free on the rolling waves
You and Buggy come face to face with himself from the past, and while you’re fully accepting that this is your husband as a child, Buggy doesn’t want to accept it.
Rating: PG-13ish, but just due to some swearing.
Warning: Upset kid, upset husband. Reader is way too nice, doesn’t necessarily take husband’s feelings into account as well.
A/N: A combined request. I did a few versions of this story before feeling like it hit the marks I was wanting to hit. Also, I’m just trying to vibe off what I’ve seen of Kid Buggy. I’m no expert. I’d protect that kid with my life. He’s so adorable. I also like the trope of “Meeting your self from another time” and “gets turned back into kid-self”. This is the former, and I know shit about time travel but I just kind of made something up. This story has also been a lot of fun to work on and the reaction from people has been lovely, thank you!

Chapter 5
You woke up alone in bed. Your husband and the kid were both nowhere to be seen which worried you. Did something happen? You normally weren’t a heavy sleeper, but last night you had to console both the kid and your husband before either of them would fall asleep - Kid Buggy was worried about missing you when it was time for him to go and Adult Buggy was pissed that his alone time with you was interrupted. It was late when you finally fell asleep, but you were generally still up before your husband, so what was going on?
Did something happen because Kid Buggy was removed from his timeline? Was the universe punishing you for helping him out, is that why both of them were missing at once? You looked around the bedroom, noticing Buggy’s captain hat and jacket were missing, which was probably a good sign. It hopefully meant he was dressed and somewhere on the ship, most likely the kitchen looking for breakfast. And that led to your next thought, if they were still on the ship why didn’t they wake you up to cook?
You threw the covers off and changed your clothes before heading to the kitchen. There was some noise coming from it, talking, maybe even laughing, but you weren’t sure and you were on alert. Generally the crew stayed out of there unless you told them specifically they could go in there. After one too many incidents with damaged pots and pans you banned everyone from using the kitchen (even the Captain), so you were feeling apprehensive about what you were about to walk into.
“That’s not how you fry an egg!”
“This is exactly how you fry an egg!”
“It’s way too runny! The yolk should be cooked more!”
“Don’t tell me how my wife likes her eggs!”
You stopped in the doorway, arms crossed as you stared at the sight in front of you. Your husband was standing at the stove with a skillet in one hand and a spatula in the other, raised over the kid’s head and ready to thump him. Kid Buggy was on a stool beside him, pointing out the errors in his cooking as he buttered toast. It was… it was a sight to behold, and while you were glad they were kind of getting along, you weren’t looking forward to cleaning up after the two of them. Finally, you cleared your throat, startling the two of them. Your husband looked horrified to see you while the kid’s face lit up.
You smiled sweetly at Adult Buggy as you stepped into the kitchen. “Buggy, my dear husband and love of my life, I banned you from the kitchen, remember? You’re not allowed anywhere near the pots and pans, muchless the utensils and stove.”
“It was the kid’s idea!” Buggy pointed the spatula at him. “I only followed along with it to supervise him!”
“You told me I couldn’t operate the stove!” Kid Buggy shot back at his adult self. “I was gonna do it but you said only adults are allowed to! How was I supposed to know you were banned from the kitchen?!”
You covered your mouth to try and hold back the laugh that was threatening to come out, but it was too difficult. The sight of the two arguing with each other while tattling to you about the other was too much. You managed to make it to a chair, falling back into it as you started laughing. It was too much first thing in the morning. From thinking the universe suddenly snatched them away from you to finding them arguing in the kitchen broke you, so you laughed.
They both stopped arguing, now turning their attention on you. The kid was confused while your husband looked rather offended.
“What are you laughing at?” They both asked at the same time, though their tones were vastly different.
“S-Sorry, you two are just too much for me!” You giggled as you wiped the tears that were forming in your eyes. “I… I woke up and you were both missing and then I came here to find you!” You tried to stop laughing, but soon you were gasping for breath. It wasn’t so much that it was funny, you were just relieved. “I thought something happened!”
“Something did happen! I was hungry!” Your husband exclaimed as he turned his attention back to the stove. The eggs were burning so he frantically flipped them and turned the heat down, hoping they would still be edible. “And then the kid woke up and said we should cook breakfast for you, so here we are! Why did you sleep in anyway? Are you getting lazy now, babe?”
You sniffled a bit, the occasional giggle slipping out. “I’m not getting lazy, just someone kept me awake late last night because he was upset about something silly.”
“Oh, I’m sorry.” A tiny voice said; you turned and looked at the kid. His entire demeanor changed when you said that, thinking you were talking about him, so you reached out for him and tugged him over to you, pulling him onto your lap as you wrapped your arms around him. Your husband had an unhappy look on his face when you did that.
“Oh, no, it wasn’t you, sweetie.” You assured him as you hugged him. He leaned into you and you rested your cheek on the top of his head. “Promise. I was talking about my husband. He was pouting that he didn’t get enough time to kiss me last night.”
Kid Buggy made a disgusted face when you said that. Your husband turned red and glared at you while you just chuckled. He returned to poking the eggs on the stove. The other side didn’t burn as badly as the other. He tossed the food onto plates before bringing it to the table, making sure you had your plate first before he put the kid’s plate at his seat. To his annoyance, you moved the plate over next to yours and allowed the kid to eat sitting on your lap.
“He can sit in his own chair, you know.” Your husband grumbled as he started eating. You shrugged as you ate, making sure not to flinch at the taste of burnt egg. You appreciated that the two of them tried to do this together, so you didn’t want to upset either of them by how… interesting the taste was.
“I know.” You said as Buggy’s hands went to pour the coffee he forgot he made. After taking a sip of it, you set the mug down and didn’t touch it again for a while. “But I don’t mind.” You took a bite of the barely warmed bread that they called toast. “Is it bothering you, honey?”
“No.” Buggy grumbled as he looked down at his plate. You knew better, it did bother him, but you weren’t going to interrupt the kid’s meal. He was eating the food without issue, as was your husband. At least they didn’t mind the taste of their own cooking.
You risked it and took another sip of coffee. “How about after we clean up from breakfast, we go for a walk in the town?”
Both of them looked at you; your husband said nothing as he took a sip of his own coffee while the kid nodded in agreement. “Let’s do it! I wonder if I can find where I got the necklace from. D’you think they still have stuff there? I could steal you something else!” He looked over at his adult self with a smug look. “I’m a better thief as a kid, y’know, because I’m quicker than some old man.”
“Old man?!” Buggy shrieked as he slammed his coffee cup down, the liquid sloshing and spilling everywhere. “I’m not old! I’m in my thirties!”
“That’s old.” The kid assured him. Your husband looked at you for help but you shrugged and took another bite of the buttered bread.
“I must be old as well since I’m two months older than him.” You told Kid Buggy, and he looked up at you, horrified. He didn’t mean you were old, just your husband, so he immediately backtracked.
“Not you, just him! He’s an old man!”
“I’m not too old to throw you overboard again!” Adult Buggy threatened.
“You’ll have to catch me!”
“Why you little-”
~
You managed to get the kitchen spotless while the two stayed in the kitchen with you. Your husband was teaching the kid how to play cards so he could win big against others, even teaching him some ways to cheat as well. It was fine, they were getting along even after Buggy chased the kid around the ship after being called old. It got them both tired out which meant you didn’t have to break up any arguments between the two. For now.
“How did you meet her?” The kid asked as he looked over his cards. “Was it like one of those gross love stories?”
“What? No.” Buggy scowled as he threw down some cards onto the table. “All I did was sweep her off her feet.” He looked quite smug for a moment. “She was charmed by my personality, you know.”
“What personality?”
“Listen here, you-”
“I fixed his jacket.” You chimed in as you scrubbed the burnt egg of the skillet. The kid looked up when you spoke, letting the cards in his hand droop forward, but your husband reached over and pushed them back up, muttering Don’t let me see your cards while you glanced over at them. “He lost some buttons on it and came to the tailor I worked at demanding it be fixed. I was just finishing my apprenticeship there, so I thought it would be good to fix a captain’s jacket, you know, in case it led to anything further. I replaced his buttons and also fixed the lining of his jacket, and he kept coming back for the smallest things over the course of a year, like a loose thread needing to be trimmed or wanting to make sure the thread holding the buttons on matched the thread holding the other buttons.”
“And then he swept you off your feet?” Kid Buggy asked with a frown. You grinned as your husband just grumbled.
“Yes, after I asked him out for lunch when he showed up at the shop with some flowers. My boss tried to scare him off but it didn’t work.” You told him with a smile. Your husband blushed just a bit while the kid looked between the two of you. “What? I thought he was so handsome, y’know, and charming and funny.”
“What do I gotta say when I meet you later on then?” The kid asked as he looked down at his cards. “So I can charm you and marry you?”
You dried your hands on your apron and crossed your arms as you leaned back against the sink. “Well, I don’t know if I should be giving spoilers like that about our relationship…”
“Just bring her flowers.” Your husband told him as he collected the cards to reshuffle them. “You’re getting better at this game, kid.” He leaned back in his chair and looked back at you. “Any flowers. She loves them, but I know from experience that if you get her a bouquet of different colors, she’ll do pretty much anything you ask.”
“Anything?”
“Yea, anything. One of the last times I got her flowers, she-”
He didn’t finish the sentence because you suddenly slapped your hand over his mouth, your cheeks burning bright as you glared down at your husband. He had absolutely no filter sometimes, and you knew that was from growing up on a ship and surrounded by others without a filter, but you weren’t about to let him spill all the secrets of your relationship to the kid. At least he realized that he was about to say something inappropriate so he cleared his throat and pushed your hand away.
“She made me my favorite dinner.” Your husband said calmly, thinking quickly in hope that the kid wouldn't ask further questions. “That’s what she did.”
“Good save.” You warned him as you went back to your previous position, arms crossed as you stared at the back of his head. Buggy felt his eyes on you and swallowed heavily. He knew he needed to watch his mouth because you only ever allowed one slip up like that a day and it was still early. The last time he almost said something inappropriate like that to someone who wasn’t on the crew (your father on your last visit to your parents) you made him use his Devil Fruit abilities to clean all the pipes in your parents house with a tiny little brush. “Don’t say anything else, Buggy! He’ll be fine, you know, so don’t give him any ideas!”
Your husband turned in his seat, grinned and winked at you but you looked away, your face still red. Kid Buggy looked between the two of you, not really understanding why you turned red and interrupted your husband, but he wasn’t going to ask. He was grateful to have some idea how to meet you in the future, however. He just had to have a great looking jacket with buttons for you to fix and then he would find you, have you fall in love with him, and everything would be right in his world.

Again And Again
Portgas D Ace X Reader
-Amatsuki Y/N decided to stay in the future without her sister upon meeting a friend’s son.
Chapter 5: O Captain! My Captain!
The moment Edward said you were to go on this mission alone was the moment you declined.
Earlier before receiving your current mission, quarter of the crew had been dispatched to search for a fruit. Of course Edward hadn't told you what the fruit was, you declined that mission. After all Ace wasn't one of those deployed.
But today, you didn't have a choice. Still on the same island, Edward had told you to retrieve something else than the first dispatch, and you were to do it alone.
You declined firmly not wanting to leave Ace's side but you had no choice, when he reminds you he was your captain. You had asked, begged even that he sends another person but he firmly sent you.
You were by far the strongest in the crew, second only to your captain. That was the only plausible reason you thought of as to why it had to be you specifically. But then again, what could be so important that you had to be sent?
Right now here you were packing for a mission you don't even know how long will last. You don't even know if the ship would still be docked by the time you finish. But you had to leave for it now.
"Y/N!!!" You turn around to see Ace hopping excitedly to you waving a paper, presumably the new bounty posters. "He's coming!!!"
His giddy and excited screams practically woke up half of the crew that was left on board.
"Ace-"
He jumps to hold you by the hip to spin you around, with the biggest grin you had ever seen. You laugh at his excitement, as he sets you down slowly to keep you from getting hurt.
"Y/N!!!!!" He was jumping and pacing in excitement as he tries to hand you the poster at hand, failing miserably as he was moving around too much.
You hold him by the shoulder still laughing, "Calm down, you're gonna get yourself hurt." As you had held him still you snatched the poster on his hand.
It was a 30 million bounty poster to a boy in a straw hat. A familiar one to point out. The boy with shaggy black hair, round black eyes reminds you of both Roger and Ace coincidentally. The boy also has a scar with two stitches underneath his left eye.
"Monkey D. Luffy." You read the name. You took time trying to rack your mind as to who that name belong to. You can see Ace expectantly waiting for your reaction. "OH!!! ITS YOUR BROTHER!!!"
He cheered once again wrapping his arms around you jumping up and down, squeezing you tight you could hardly breath.
"He's coming!! Where do you think he's gonna be? He's probably on his way to the reverse mountain! What if I go there to meet him?! O-Or maybe I could go to his first island instead! Which one do you think is gonna be his first? Our first island was overran by trees. Do you think that his first island is going to be there? Would meeting him at another island be better? What about Drum Island? Or maybe Alabasta? Alabsta is a kingdom I think that'd be the better option. We should go there! But would meeting him there not be a good idea? What if I end up interfering with his ad-"
You squeeze his squeeze his cheeks with your hand giving him a fish face.
"You're so cute when you're excited." You giggle. "But you're overthinking everything."
Getting away from your hold he gave you a grin, "I just can't wait for him to meet you. You're going to love him! He's also gonna love you! It's gonna be great I swear."
You laugh. "From the stories you've told me, I think having you both in my life would be the death of me."
He pulls you to his chest swaying slightly day dreaming about what could happen, he had the sweetest smile that made your heart melt and your stomach tingle. "I haven't seen him in forever."
"I bet he's missed you too."
"You know you're probably not gonna get to eat much if he ever eats with us." He snickers.
"I don't get to eat much when I'm with you either dummy. Something tells me I wouldn't eat at all."
"Where do you think he'd be? Where would be the best place to meet him?"
"I'd say somewhere with a lot of food. Bring him to Big Mom's territory maybe." You joke.
"I know you're joking but that's actually a good idea." He ponders. "Last time we went there she provided 5 buffet tables for the entire crew."
"Yeah, they never stopped feeding you there. You know like the witch in that fats you up with candy."
"Why did we meet with them again?"
"I don't remember anything after you ate her shortcake. She was trying to kill you."
"Katakuri should've seen it coming. It's his fault."
"As if he could stop you. You grabbed the cake as soon as it came to the room." You laughed. "I still remember the look on his face when he saw you grab the cake. He had the look that he knew soemthing bad was gonna happen at that second and he desperately wants it not to happen."
"His future sight it so cool."
"Oh no is your crush on him coming back?"
He pouts, "I'm just saying... Its really cool. I bet Luffy will be all over him."
"I can also technically see the future, but you don't praise me."
"You're both really cool." He grinned and placed a chaste kiss on your lips.
"Hell yeah I am." You smirked making him chuckle. "Is Katakuri like your favorite pirate excluding us?"
"Probably. I remember them talking about having all those food unlimitedly if pops had agreed to something. Whatever it was Pops should've said yes."
"You don't even know what it is." You laughed.
"I don't need to know. I had all Big Mom's son feeding me." He said proudly. "Those guys are unlimited food I'm telling you."
"Now that I think about it maybe I was right they were fattening you up and then they were gonna feed you to Big Mom. You were the only one eating so much."
"Not true! Everyone was eating!"
"We were but not as much as you. I barely got to eat because his sons kept bothering me and I had to keep watch of you."
"We really should come over again, with Luffy. I'll make sure not to eat her shortcake this time."
"Luffy will probably eat it."
"Well maybe Katakuri will finally do something. He should expect it by now."
Your moment was interrupted by someone at your door clearing his throat. Ace goes to hug you from behind not to block your view on the man at the door.
"Teach, what's up?"
"Pops wanted to remind you that you had to leave." He grinned.
Ace slumps on your shoulder with a pout. You ruffle Ace's hair and removes his arms around you.
"Blame Ace if the old man asks." You say as you grab your bag. "I'll be back, don't do anything rash and stupid and just wait for me okay?"
"Don't take too long~"

You'd think a mission personally for you given by Edward would be something important. But alas, it was nothing.
In your hand was an averaged size chest. Inside was 2 devil fruit you aren't quite sure what was, and papers you hadn't bothered to look into yet.
As you returned to the Oro Jackson after weeks of your mission, you'd think you would come back to a warm welcome and cheers for your success, you felt a mix of excitement and anticipation to reunite with the crew... to be more specific Ace.
However, as you stepped onto the deck, your expectation was the total opposite. All that was there was a heavy atmosphere hanging over the crew. Concern etched its way into your heart, and you immediately sought out someone to find answers.
"Guys?" You call out.
Marco was first to notice your return. His eyes widen as if he wasn't expecting you, and looks away.
"Marco?"
He grabs Jozu's shoulder and whispers something. Jozu nods and walks to the direction of Edward's room not looking your way.
"I swear, if you don't fucking tell me what's wrong." You taunt. Glaring at everyone.
"Y/N," Deuce comes up slowly. "We couldn't..."
Your brows furrow. "Deuce, I was gone for two fucking weeks. What happened?!" You yell.
But then a realization hit you. You scan the crowd, and it seemed that your suspicions were right as they all looked away figuring you were about to find out.
There were a few missing faces. But it wasn't just anyone missing.
With a sinking feeling, you approached Marco. "What happened? Where's Ace?" You asked, your voice trembling with worry.
His expression turned somber as he looked away. You turn to the other looking at anyone and everyone.
"Deuce? Vista? Banshee??? What happened? Ace, Thatch and Teach are gone... Why isn't anyone telling me anything?"
At this point you were assuming the worse. And you sure as hell are not going to let that happen.
"Y/N don't." Your heart dropped when a booming voice behind you. Standing, towering above you, you glare him down. "Ace, a week ago. He said he needed to sort things out."
"Sort things out?" You repeated, feeling a sense of worry creep into your heart. "What happened?"
The crewmate hesitated, then softly said, "Thatch is gone. He was killed by Teach."
You felt your stomach churn. "T-Thatch- No, Teach is strong but he can't easi-"
"He stole the fruit Thatch's team was to get."
"What...?"
"Yami Yami no Mi."
A fruit you know. A fruit you hadn't thought you'd come across again since your travel across time with your sister began. A fruit that you and your sister had been asked to stay away from centuries ago.
"Ace... Why would you let Ace-" Your eyes widen as you look at your captain in horror, sending Ace into a suicide mission.
Marco hold you back knowing you, he was aware you were about to pounce the old man.
"Y/N, Ace went against pops' orders! Please calm down and listen!!" He cried out trying to keep you down.
Tears streaming your face you glare at your captain. You stood before Edward, your emotions boiling over with anger and grief. The weight of the recent events, Ace's departure, and Thatch's tragic death felt unbearable, and you couldn't help but direct your frustration toward the captain who had sent you on the mission.
"Why did you send me on that mission?" you demanded, your voice sharp with accusation. "If I hadn't been away, maybe I could've been there for Ace and Thatch."
Edward's expression softened, understanding the pain in your words. He knew you cared deeply for Ace, more than anything, and the thought of not being there for him when he needed you most was a heavy burden on your heart. "I sent you on that mission because I believed in your abilities," he said calmly. "I trusted that you could handle it, and I knew you would always do your best for the crew."
You throw the chest you held at him, "Here's your fucking end results." Your anger flared even more at Edward's response. "Great job huh? We got what you fucking wanted!" they retorted. "Ace and Thatch are gone, and I wasn't there to stop anything all because of you! I could've stopped Teach!"
Edward eyes held a mix of sorrow and regret. "I didn't expect such a tragedy to happen," he admitted. "I didn't foresee that the mission would lead to such devastating consequences."
"I told you I didn't want the fucking mission!" You screamed.
Marco held onto you hoping to calm you down, "Y/N calm down! That's your captain!"
But you, consumed by anger, unable to see beyond the pain. "He may be your captain, but he's not mine," you declared, your words sharp and cutting, eyes locking with Edward's. "I was only here for Ace."
Edward looked taken aback by the statement, but he remained calm. "You may be angry right now, I don't hold this against you. You can have your space to collect yourself, you will always be a part of this crew," he said, his voice carrying a sense of fatherly concern.
Your emotions were too raw to be soothed by Edward's words. "I followed Roger and Oden, and I haven't been been part of this crew for years," you said, voice cracking with emotion.
As you turned to walk away, Marco couldn't bear to let you leave in such turmoil. He knew how much the Whitebeard Pirates meant to you, even after all those years of absence. With a hurried stride, he caught up to you and gently placed a hand on your shoulder, trying to offer some comfort.
"Wait," Marco implored, his voice soft and caring. "I know you're hurting, and I understand that things have changed, but you're still a part of this crew in our hearts."
You stopped, but you didn't turn to face Marco. Tears welled up in your eyes, and you fought to control the emotions threatening to overwhelm you.
"I can't lose him," You said, your voice breaking. "If something happens to him... I don't know what I'd do."
Marco moved to stand in front of you, ensuring that you had his full attention. "You know pops would never let that happen," he said, looking into your eyes with empathy. "We've all been through a lot, and your feelings are valid. This incident shouldn't break us. We can get him back together."
You tried to hold back a sob, your emotions still raw and tumultuous. "I don't know if I can be a part of this crew again," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
"You don't have to decide right now," Marco said gently. "Take the time you need to sort through your feelings. We'll be here, waiting for you."
You finally met Marco's gaze, finding warmth and understanding in his eyes. "Does Edward hate me?" you asked, fear and uncertainty in your voice.
Marco smiled reassuringly. "He could never hate you," he said. "He knows you're going through a lot, just take your time, we'll all be here for you."
You reached out, embracing Marco in a tight hug, finding comfort in his presence and the reassurance of a friend's unwavering support.
"I don't know what to do," you admitted, your voice muffled against Marco's shoulder.
"That's okay," Marco said, hugging you back. "You don't have to have all the answers right now. Just know that we care about you, and we'll face whatever comes together."
"You know, the reason I came to the future. I was so heartbroken about Roger." As you spoke, your voice trembled. Marco listened attentively, understanding the deep pain and determination in their words.
"He was sick, so there wasn't really anything I could've done to help him... to save him." You say as tears spilled down your cheeks. "I had no choice but to lose Roger all those years ago," you said, your voice heavy with emotion. "It was beyond my control, and I couldn't even come to his final moments."
Marco nodded, his eyes filled with empathy. He doesn't bother saying anything as he figured a friendly ear was what you needed most right now.
"I can't bear the thought of losing Ace, too," You continued. "Not when I can stop it. I can't let the same tragedy happen again."
Marco placed a comforting hand on your shoulder, offering you support. "We'll do everything in our power to get Ace," he assured you. "We'll face whatever challenges come our way. You're not going to be alone here."
As you walked away from Marco, your heart felt lighter than before. The weight of your past still lingered, but Marco's words and support had provided a renewed sense of hope and determination. You knew that you couldn't change the events of the past, but you could shape the future, and you were determined to do everything in your power to get Ace back.
As you prepared to leave the Whitebeard Pirates once again, a sense of gratitude and responsibility welled up inside. You knew that you owed the crew an apology, especially to Edward.
Taking a deep breath, you approached Whitebeard with a mix of nervousness and determination. You couldn't leave without expressing your feelings and acknowledging the support you had received.
"Edward," you said, your voice steady but filled with sincerity, "I want to say I'm sorry."
Whitebeard looked at you, his expression softening with understanding. "You don't have to apologize," he replied gently. "You've been through a lot, and I know it hasn't been easy for you."
You shook your head, feeling the weight of your emotions. "No, I do need to apologize," you insisted. "I said things I didn't mean in the heat of the moment. I know you care for Ace, Thatch and the crew deeply, and I shouldn't have said what I had said."
Whitebeard placed a hand on your shoulder, offering reassurance. "We all say things we don't mean when emotions run high," he said. "I understand your pain and your need to protect those you care about."
Tears welled up in your eyes as you nodded, grateful for Whitebeard's understanding. "Thank you," you said, your voice choked with emotion. "Thank you for letting me be a part a second time."
Whitebeard smiled warmly. "You'll always be a part of this crew, no matter where life takes you," he said. "We've been through thick and thin together, and that bond won't be broken. No matter how much time passes."
You wiped away your tears, feeling a mix of sadness and gratitude. "I'll always cherish the time I spent with the Whitebeard Pirates," you said. "And I promise I'll come back as soon as I can. Make sure to keep a spot open for me."
Whitebeard nodded, his eyes filled with fatherly affection. "Take all the time you need," he said. "Make sure to bring that brat with you."

Do you have any thoughts on that Boscha and Amity confrontation from s3? I don't watch s3 because of lost interest but I look for scraps out of investment or just to see my faves.
The fandom treats it like a two exes fighting thing, I wonder where they got that idea from. Closeted boschamity shippers? 👀
Boscha smashes the door to the closet down before glaring at the crowd of people there. "How dare you hide anything about your queen!? Don't you know how incredible I am? How much better I would have been for Amity? In fact, I bet I'm great enough I could date both them at o-" "Oh, hey, Boscha!" "Boscha, aren't you trying to stop bullying people?" A strange, high pitched noise comes from the pit of Boscha's soul as she turns to look at Luz and Amity. She then takes a step forward straight into the closet, grabs the door and slams it back into place. She then turns to all the shippers and states, "Say anything and die."
So I've seen the clip and something about how Amity says "Boscha, stop, you're hurting me," rubs me the wrong way in a DEEP way. Other than that, it's a good scene and I think entirely understandable from Boscha's standpoint. I'm not actually even going to say it has to be romantic. It works platonically too. We have to remember for the context of the scene that Boscha and Amity were friends for nine years. Not only that but Amity is the only person Boscha doesn't make fun of. In fact, she seems to have been the only person Boscha was willing to delegate any sort of power and control too. Thus their interactions are usually more led by Amity, much friendlier than Boscha's interactions with others (even Skara), and it helps explain why Amity seems to lead their friend group despite how Boscha acts about loss of power in Once Upon a Swap. It also means that how the group acts was likely influenced by Amity. And, well... If the show is correct and they're just all bad people then that reflects poorly on Amity. Worse yet, Hooty's Moving Hassle pushes the idea that Amity hid whatever positive side of hers there might be from her friends (though, you know, still hosted the sleepover at her place for some reason. Almost like they actually were friends...). So the friend group's image of Amity is that of a controlling, cool headed, logical bitch (affectionately). Someone who pushed Willow way harder than any of them did with their own targets and was aspirational as the most popular girl in school. And then in the span of like a week, everything changed. You need to remember that the episode order is literally: Understanding Willow, into Grom, into Winging it. And that is the major pivot point for Amity's character and who she's interacting with socially. I honestly wish we had ANYONE'S reaction to Amity hanging out with Luz and crew at Grom since that should have raised some eyebrows amongst her friend group. But people might have dismissed it as a fluke or because Luz for some reason took Amity's place as Grom Queen. Maybe even blackmail to make it make sense. There's no way of doing that with the Grudgby match though. And that Grudgby match will be the closest she comes to caring about ANY of them again. So in the span of like two weeks at most, Boscha not only lost her best friend but had her entire reality shatter about what she believed in about her. What she had known to be true all turning to ash in an instant. No wonder she was willing to get so aggressive as to start losing control of her strength and actually manage to break someone's leg.
Worse yet is actually Sport in a Storm. Boscha is there. Alone. And not repping the Grudgby team. Now yes, the season might already be over (though that'd be an extremely short season) but you'd still think the captain of the team would be trying to recruit people and the like. Maybe even just forced by the coach to be there. But she's not. Almost like she's possibly been kicked out but wanted to show up anyways because she got used to being a part of events like this. Part of them... With Amity. Who's now got a book club going on. So when Amity comes back and Boscha is desperate, in a world so much scarier than the one she's used to, barely holding onto any shred of control and power she has been given by Kikimora and the other students. She wants a return to what she sees as better times. To times that made more sense. To times when Amity made sense. To when there was someone Boscha could trust enough to rule beside, if not possibly serve as a knight. Not that ANY of this is likely intentional by the show. The scene is meant to show Boscha's desperation but it's meant more to contrast against where Amity is now. A theoretical call to her past self WELL past when that would have been resonant in anyway. There's a reason why Sasha trying to will Anne back into her old self, the one who didn't care about people, hits hard because Anne is at the turning point of her character between those two sides. Amity had her turning points though with a weirdly flippant response in both Winging it Like Witches and Escaping Expulsion. Sure, there's drama to the statements Amity makes but a lack of a real reason to go back to who she was (unlike the obvious luxuries and comforts Sasha presents) and a lack of build up to make the choice seem painful or hard for Amity. It just came down to "Luz is in danger, I love Luz, so fuck these people." So for as neat as it is to have a scene between Boscha and Amity at this point... Too Little Too Late is a statement that applies to a lot of the elements of the show and knowing that Dana felt there was a pressure to have Lumity happen as fast as possible, it's not really surprising either. It was their number one priority, no matter how many character and plot threads went fallow during the pursuit of it. And that includes any chance for something truly meaningful with Boscha.
Adding a reminder that I do have Lumischa works that explore Boscha a lot. A Future for Lumischa does a bit of it with them as adults while The Power of Love does it mostly from the perspective of between S1 and 2.

The Animated History of Treasure Island: Mel-O-Toons Treasure Island (1960)
Tumblr media
I have been on a journey to watch every animated adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. (I pick cool hyperfixations right?) I wanted to share my thoughts and research on them as they were compiled before hopefully making a long video about the entire topic.
So what is the oldest surviving animation for Treasure Island in existence? That would be in 1960 thanks to a series that was huge in its time but mostly forgotten today: Mel-O-Toons. You know, those cartoons that John Oliver referenced that one time and you probably didn't notice. Read on if you'd like to learn more!
New World Productions, the studio behind all 104 episodes of Mel-O-Toons (and a seemingly lost series called King Algy's Knights of the Square Table), only existed from 1958 - 1961. Most of the show's episodes have been lost, and even the titles for many have been forgotten entirely with only 53 available online. It's likely many folks today haven't heard of Mel-O-Toons, but they were extremely important in the animation space back in the 1960s. After "Rumplestiltskin" and "Waltz of the Flowers" were aired in Toledo, Ohio to test viewer response, the reaction was overwhelmingly positive.
Tumblr media
The neat thing about this one is it's hit the public domain at this point, so you can find it on YouTube to watch for free! With the company no longer in existence, no one is out there trying to take it, or any of the many compilations of episodes, down.
It's hard to say much about this particular version of Treasure Island since it can't even manage to be a full five minutes long. However, it does contain valuable insights into the story itself. If you only have five minutes to tell a story, what are the most important parts of it that should never be left out?
Mel-O-Toons decided to cut the entirety of the story's first portion and many other characters, focusing directly on Long John Silver and Jim Hawkin's relationship. In fact, Long John is the one setting up the ship to head out and get the treasure at all! While this seems insignificant, every adaptation to follow placed a deep emphasis on Jim and Long John's relationship. The episode shows the two happily spending time together with Jim saying, "Gee, I liked him right off!"
Tumblr media
One of the other important parts was the Apple Barrel scene. In every adaptation I've seen so far (and I only have three to go) not a single one of them has skipped this. Even in futuristic tellings, it's usually an Apple, or at least some kind of fruit in particular, in a barrel. This pivotal scene where Jim learns of Long John's betrayal is so important to the story that no one dares to deviate from how it was originally done. It too also plays into how important the relationship is between the two main characters, how Jim's heart is broken by a man he's come to trust. It's powerful even here in this short animation. The other curious thing to focus on was the inclusion of Ben Gunn. His actual importance to the story has really depended on which adaptation you may choose to watch, but almost no one has chosen to ignore him (despite people especially hating his interpretation in Treasure Planet with complaints so rampant it's hard to wonder if it hurts the quality of the film.)
Other than that though, the loyal crew saves the day in the end and all is well! The thing that sticks out most about this version is it keeps a main part of the book intact. They have Jim saying they couldn't take all the treasure home with them as there was too much in the Mel-O-Toon, but in the book, it explains how there were potentially several marked places on the map. It has always been implied that there might be more on the island for a future adventure, even if Robert Louis Stevenson never wrote the sequel. Very few adaptations touch on this at all or really mention anything else other than generic sea adventures to come for Jim Hawkins, so it's a nice change. If you enjoyed this little dive through history, why not learn about how the "father of manga" Osamu Tezuka adapted the story for television. Or learn about just how historically significant Mr. Magoo's Treasure Island was in its own right. Next time, I'll be talking about the Treasure Island adaptation done by API for CBS’ Family Classic Tales. Stay tuned if you wanna hear about it!

Oh my gosh I feel like I’m ordering food,
-could I get uuuhhhh. LL crew reactions to their s/o telling them they are carrying their sparkling.
rodimus
over the moon, bursting out of his armor, skipping across the universe, ready to take optimus by the shoulders and shake him. he's going to be a sire. he's going to have sparklings of his very own to nurture and love and raise. oh primus he's got to prepare. what if he's not good enough? what if he hurts them? hes got to start getting ready to take on this new responsibility. cries during every doctors visit with you. ratchet puts him out in the waiting room to sort himself out. rodimus talks animatedly every night about what he's going to teach your children and the sort of adventures he'll take them on and, of course, that he'll love them no matter the alt mode. he really hopes theyre a speedster like him, though. so he can take them racing when theyre older. very touchy and always has his hands on your belly. even when you're very clearly with sparkling, it doesn't feel real to him.
megatron
oh primus is it too late to get rid of it now? not that he doesnt want a sparkling (i mean he doesnt) he's just got a lot of enemies that would be happy to take you out. even people that arent necessarily out to get him would NOT be happy with the fact that he has a spawn coming into the world. its bad enough you talked him into a relationship when you should know better than to involve yourself closely with someone like him. but he'll take responsibility for what he's created if you want to keep the sparkling. thats his kid and he'll do what he must to keep the two of you alive and happy. never really intended to have sparklings but the thought is novel and sweet to him with time. the domestic seems so far away from the live he's cultivated, who he was and still carries with him, but he wants that life. if he can find a way to provide that quiet sort of bliss, he'll do whatever he has to. optimus is your sparkling's godfather. he declares himself as such after he finds out. megatron doesnt get a word in edgewise.
tailgate + cyclonus
oh the mini is over every single moon from cybertron to earth. he cant believe this is his life. cyclonus has to hold and shush him when you tell the both of them, and thus he doesn't get to fully express his own emotions at the revelation. when you two have a quiet moment alone, cyclonus will lovingly stroke your head and ask to press his helm to your chest. the sparkling is just barely growing at this point, of course, nothing more than a clump of energy, but if he focuses maybe he can very briefly feel it's spark's pull. just for a moment, just a flicker. tailgate and cyclonus both fuss over names. tailgate likes more cutesy names, but cyclonus doesn't want a sparkling turning out like.... well, him and having a name like bit or bug. he prefers more traditional names. they both collaborate on the aesthetics of the sparklings nursery, though, and build a lot of the furniture by hand. their sparkling isnt going to sleep on any old cheap junk!
drift + ratchet
ratchet is actually the one to tell you that you're with sparkling, then you two have to tell drift. it's an everyday thing. drift wakes up shaking and blubbering about how he's going to be a sire and ratchet has to calm him down bc he's going to stress you out. drift is absolutely ecstatic. rodimus throws you guys multiple sparkling showers, but it's really an excuse for the entire crew to help out with buying you guys what you need. even if drift can afford a thousand sparklings, the entire crew wants to be involved with rearing your kin. at least you've got the best medical team on your side, and ratchet is going to make SURE that you are taking your supplements everyday at the same time. as much as he grumps that he's too old to be raising a sparkling, he's just as excited as everyone else. he just doesn't want to pressure you indirectly into keeping the sparkling if you decide to terminate.
rewind + chromedome
rewind is Stressed. he still has a lot of internalized prejudice about his own alt form and to think he might "curse" a sparkling with the same shortcomings of his function has him sort of tweaking. he's not even sure he wants to be a sire! thankfully chromedome is (mostly) taking everything in stride and trying to take it day by day. they're both the worst of worriers. chromedome has his own qualms, not wanting the little sparkling to take on his habit of addictions and self destruction. he worries it's going to be carried down in his coding, that the sparkling will have no choice but to carry out the same self destructive life he has. you all have some pretty serious deep talks about whether terminating would be more merciful to any potential kin of yours, but rewind and chromedome cant help already being attached to the notion that they could have a normal, happy family. that the three of you could conquer everything even the problems that arise from child rearing. they're responsible and self reflective to the point of getting in the way of their own happiness. all plans for how to go about taking care of a sparkling are really taken in stride after you all decide to just take the leap. they want to enjoy the bliss for a little while.
perceptor + brainstorm
brainstorm is nearly to the point of malfunctioning when you tell him. the thought that you could bear his sparkling never even crossed his processor! he plays it pretty fast and loose in the berthroom, so it was really only a matter of time. not exactly the most forward thinking bitch here. perceptor is sighing and rubbing his nasal ridge, but he expected as much. really, it's not the idea of having a spakrling that is giving him a helmache, it's the fact that brainstorm seems SURPRISED by the consequences of his actions. perceptor wants to look at all the possible alternatives, even if he doesn't think you'll end up taking them. after all, it's better to hypothesize the probably outcome and then decide from there on the best course of action. brainstorm is only interested in having a sparkling, though. he thinks he's ready. after all, he's one of the most brilliant minds to come from cybertron! raising a sparkling should be easy enough. at last easier than building a time machine! they both get into heated debates over the whiteboard on what name to choose. brainstorm is so sure it's going to be a flyer, but perceptor is dead set on NOT making the sparkling have a flight focused designation when they dont even know the altmode yet. (he's hoping it ends up being a microscope like him or maybe a gun he just thinks that would be tight)
i was going to do more but this post started getting long so maybe another time ill finish it up!

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ a/n: these are kind of short and I do apologize!! mentally not been at my best but I'm giving it my all <3 I hope I did your ask justice. I just went with whatever came to mind haha!
˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ details: SFW//Law, Kid & Ace x reader//w.c: 0.7k
Tumblr media
Trafalgar Law
Law doesn’t treat you any differently than before he even knew that you were genderfluid, he doesn’t see the point in it. You’re still you to him regardless of gender and identity and that’s why he loves you. It was the person you are that he fell in love with
You don’t need to explain it to him, he knows full well what it is which is always helpful. Coming out can be scary enough and explaining your feelings even harder, making it a relief when there was no explaining needed when you told Law
He’s read about it plenty and will use that to comfort you whenever you feel insecure about your identity, reassuring you that it’s a completely valid identity that has existed for years so he doesn’t want to hear anything about you undermining your identity or anyone else doing that
He’s very on top of using the correct pronouns, sometimes it feels like you don’t even need to tell him and he’ll still have it right. He complains plenty about how easy it is to do whenever anyone gets it wrong
However you like to express your identity you’ll get a nice compliment from him, you can catch onto the certain things that always draw compliments from him and they become some of your favorite things to help express yourself. Especially with how Law can’t seem to take his eyes off you for the whole day
Also his devil fruit is perfect for this, although a bit unsettling at first thought he can switch out any body parts of yours for what you may want
Eustass Kid
Kid has an idea what it is but doesn’t really care to know much about it. Kid couldn’t care less about gender and what defines something as a certain gender. To him none of it matters, rules aren’t something to be followed and that’s the biggest reason he became a pirate
When you first told him you got a harsh “why should I even care?” which was off putting to be honest but you finally caught on it that it wasn’t him being rude or brushing it off. Kid just meant it as in he’d see you no different than the rest of his crew even with your identity
Even though his first reaction may have made you nervous, he's incredibly respectful of you and you being genderfluid, he uses the right pronouns for you and will correct himself without second thought if he has them wrong. He’s not against putting people in their place who misgender you
He understands how certain things such as articles of clothing can help you express how you feel depending on the day, he lends you his clothes whenever you feel more masculine and will help make sure they fit you properly
His makeup skills are very helpful, when he’s getting ready and you want him to do your makeup he’ll dedicate a portion of the morning to doing so. He’s good at more masculine looks but it takes some practice to get more feminine ones down. Sometimes it feels like he has a death grip on your face while trying to do winged eyeliner but it comes out gorgeous
Portgas Ace
Similarly to everyone previous, Ace is very accepting towards your genderfluid identity. You’re still the person he fell in love with so who’s he to judge you for anything, your a pirate and want to be free so he may as well let you be free
He asks you questions a lot, it’s not necessarily because he doesn’t know much about your identity but more so because he wants to understand your perspective and how you feel. He’ll hold on to those little pieces of information to better help you when you need it
He’s a wonderful support system, he’ll affirm you and your gender whenever it seems like you need it. He’s never been one to be against handing out compliments like candy so you’ll always get one that makes you feel much better about yourself
Ace tags along whenever you go clothes shopping to give advice on the clothes you find, he’ll tell you where to find the best and most comfortable shorts and will look through dresses and give you little opinions. He likes the ones with softer material and almost ends up shopping according to his taste
If you’re ever feeling dysphoric he gives you his hat to wear. At first it was a bit odd of a gesture from Ace, not knowing how this would solve your gender related issues but it became a comforting part of him you could carry around with you. It makes you feel safe without him present to cheer you on

hey there! could we get that classic summer cliche, the infamous popsicle? 😂 blue raspberry happens to be my favorite flavor, so i think the Prime universe will do well for this;
maybe June or Reader brought popsicles on base for the kids to cool off, but those things get drippy real fast in the Jasper heat so they’re pretty likely to make a mess of whoever has one. can we get some flustered reactions (from any of your favorite bots) to their human S/O lappin up a blue one? i’m always a sucker for suggestive summer
I’m not saying that I love the grumpy medic, all I’m saying is that he’s a cutie and I would pinch his cheeks if I could. AKA everyone wants me to pick my own bots and it’s just the same bots over and over LOL
Warnings: Sexual Situations, Implied Sexual Content, Bots Getting Flustered, Robot x Human Relationship
Optimus Prime:
Optimus is enjoying how excited the kids get at the prospect of popsicles. It reminds him of when Cybertron had more than just basic energon and there were treats to go around. He knows that Nevada is hot but he assumed the base was cool enough that they wouldn’t melt immediately.
He should be offering to grab napkins but the words die in his vocalizer as the blue drips down your throat. You’re making muffled sounds of protest so you try to prevent the spill from getting worse but it’s no use. It’s all over your hands, clothing and face.
Optimus tries to be respectful. He sees humans as complex beings with just as much autonomy as his kind. None of his thoughts are respectful as your tongue darts out (dyed bright blue) to lick the trail curling down your wrist. It doesn’t stop the thought that you would look good covered in his transfluid and if you would lick it up as eagerly as you did the popsicle.
His fans kick on but no one hears because the kids are shrieking and Ratchet is scolding everyone to clean up. He quickly excuses himself to grab something to clean up the mess, needing to leave the room as quickly as possible. He pointedly ignores the look at June gives him, the nurse smirking as Optimus tries his best to push the dirty thoughts out of his head.
Ratchet:
Ratchet has been trying all summer to get the kids to increase their water intake. No one is going to be dehydrated on his watch and it takes a little while for June to convince him to let them bring in sweets. As much as he grumbles about it, he’s more than willing to see the kids happy. It’s the sugar rush that he’s less excited about.
He warns them that the popsicles will make a mess but is promptly ignored. He’s grumbling as he turns back to the computers, seeing you struggle out of the corner of his optics. You’re enjoying your treat but it’s getting out of hand, moving down your hand and throat. Ratchet isn’t surprised to admit that he finds you attractive and the way that you respond to his flirting tells him that you’re interested too.
Ratchet doesn’t feel ashamed that he’s enjoying your struggling. You swear lightly as it breaks in half, catching it before it falls to the ground and just getting blue everywhere. Your lips and tongue are stained and Ratchet smirks as you start whimpering and dripping on the floor.
You must have heard him because you turn to face him, tongue ticking out of your mouth to lick the blue going down your wrist. Ratchet just raises an optic ridge, making a point of looking between your mouth and the rest of you. He senses when your heartbeat speeds up, quickly looking away and going to grab some napkins. He feels more than sees Arcee glare a look into the back of his helm. He’s going to have to follow up with you later then, preferably when the kids are gone and the two of you are alone.
Bulkhead:
Miko had been complaining all day about the heat and Bulk had to agree, it was getting to be a pain. He had been letting her hang out in his cab and blast the AC, perking up when June and you showed up. The nurse was quick to distribute popsicles to the kids, Bulk transforming to greet you. You gave a smile and asked about his day, both of you keeping half an eye on the kids.
He always enjoyed chatting with you; you were kind and always willing to talk to him. You never made him feel stupid and it was refreshing to have conversations with someone besides the other bots. Bulkhead loved his crew but they fell into old habits. It was refreshing to talk to someone new. And you were cute and smart and – ok maybe he had a crush. Maybe he had a big crush.
June interrupts your talk to hand you a popsicle and gives Bulkhead a wink before going to grab her own. Ok maybe he has a huge, giant, obvious crush but it’s fine because you haven’t noticed and he’d never ever tell you and Primus you’re making a mess everywhere. Bulk is frozen as you start struggling in front of him, treat already half melted and all over your hands. You’re a good sport about it, laughing and joking as you try to prevent dripping everywhere.
Please call back later, Bulkhead is not available at the moment. His processor has shorted out and he can’t look away from your face and hands. He’s not a completely obvious mech and this is too much for him. He should be able to pull himself together but he’s never going to be able to get this imagine out of his head. It takes Bee shaking his arm to bring him back to the room where everyone is staring at him and he’s immediately embarrassed. He makes a hasty retreat, Ratchet laughing to himself and Arcee smirking. June looks proud of herself and you’re just confused, asking if he’s ok. Bulk isn’t going to be able to talk to you for a week.
Ultra Magnus:
Magnus blames Ratchet for his impure thoughts. He had just finished getting the ‘Human Sexuality 101’ lecture from the doctor, something he didn’t think was completely necessary. There was no way they were going to stay long enough on Earth to have those kinds of relations, even if Ratchet gave him a knowing look.
He respects you. You’re a valuable part of the team and you add a level head that’s needed with the kids around. You don’t find it awkward to talk to him and go out of your way to make him feel welcomed. Ultra Magnus might find you… aesthetically pleasing as well but that’s only because he’s been learning about human art and culture.
He has nothing to excuse his thoughts now. He had tried to corral the kids into one spot to minimize the mess but it hadn’t worked. He’s in the middle to grabbing something to clean up with when he turns to see you struggling. Magnus feels like his processor is having issues rebooting. You’re trying to lick the popsicle as quickly as possible and then you wrap your lips around the bottom and suck. The sound makes him flinch and his fans turn on with a loud clang.
Now he’s a big mech. He’s an old mech. Magnus has, contrary to most bots beliefs, been in relationships and knows how to identify his own attraction. It’s been a long time since he’s felt these things and it’s a mix of exciting and terrifying. His ignores the confused voices behind him as he turns smartly on his heels and leaves the room. No one sees him for the rest of the day but it’s better that way; he needs to think about this and now.

Omg I just saw your Mama Shaw and Dom spending time together post and would like to request the Shaw sibs’ reactions plz
At this I have to seriously wonder why they keep having Dom being the only one Queenie talks to 😆 she refuses to meet the rest of the crew
~~~
Stepping out of the lavish room of her hotel suite, Queenie already had her phone in hand to have one of her men fetch breakfast, when she was greeted by three sets of hard eyes.
Sitting in the sitting room of her suite, we're her three children. Each one had taken up a different seat, with the last remaining seat next to Deckard. Owen and Hattie were looking at her with indifference and irritation, while Deckard looked mildly concerned.
How her oldest became the bleeding heart of their family confused her, but at least her younger children kept him out of any emotional harm's way
"What's all this about?" She drawled and took the obvious seat. Deckard scooted closer to her before clearing his throat.
"We got a question for you mum."
"Am I dying?" She sneered. She didn't like it when her children played her own games against her. They should know better than to try and get one up on her.
"If only." Owen deadpanned.
"Owen!" Deckard hissed.
"We want to know why you've been hanging out with that American wanker." Hattie explained finally. Always the most direct, her youngest. "There's no reason for you to be buddy-buddy with Toretto."
"His crew wouldn't do any jobs for you. Toretto himself wouldn't do anything to benefit your little empires. And there are dozens of other people you could at your beck and call. So, why Toretto?" Owen snapped.
Queenie couldn't fault his logic. He was the one who had studied her tactics the longest, with Deckard doing his own thing and Hattie refusing to be part of the family business. If only she could actually trust him to be a reliable heir to her 'little' empire.
"I can't have friends?"
"Mum." Deckard spoke flatly. "Don't bullshit us. What are you planning?"
Rolling her eyes, Queenie decided that her initial plan had already fallen through, so she might as well tell them.
"I was planning on getting his sperm."
The three noises of disgust were like music to her ears and she couldn't help the bark of laughter that escaped her.
"Not for me, you dunderheads." She snorted, but turned to Deckard. "You haven't given me any grandchildren, so I was going to offer Toretto up as a viable option."
"Why?"
"Look at the man, Dex. There are few people on this planet that have the type of gravity Toretto has. If you and him were to have a child, just imagine what they could do."
By this point, Queenie wanted to slap the embarrassed look on Deckard's face. He might have become a man, but they all knew he could get pregnant if he wanted go, which he had never shied away from admitting he wanted.
"So, you want Toretto to knock Deck up?" Hattie asked.
"I was," Queenied sighed. "But if the man ever knew he had a second child, he would do anything in his power to take care of the child. I don't need him sticking his nose into our family business anymore."
"Then his sperm is off the table?" Owen raised an eyebrow.
"I swear-!" Deckard hissed.
"For now." Queenie nodded.
"Why keep spending time with Toretto then?"
"You three have gotten so tied up with his little group, I thought I'd keep an eye on him."
"Keep an eye on him, get in his good graces, and then he wouldn't be against taking care of us?" Owen narrowed his eyes.
Smirking, Queenie knew Owen would be the one to figure it out first.
"My men can only do so much with you three." Queenie shrugged. "It's nice not having to regulate my henchmen to watching my children. Why not outsource the labor?"
"You're the worst." Hattie rolled her eyes.
"We're not children anymore." Owen pointed out.
"Could have fooled me." Queenie sneered.
And just like that, all three were talking over each other. Leaning back into the couch, Queenie watched with amusement as her children forgot their initial question and focused on arguing.
So predictable.
We frequently get asked what our members favorite fics are, so for today’s rec list, we asked each member of BLP to choose FIVE favorite fics for this list - no repeats allowed. Please keep in mind that this is not a complete list of our favorites - there are so many amazing BL fics out there that we all have a lot more than this! Still, we hope you enjoy. Happy reading!
1) Take Off Your Business Suit | Explicit | 3082 words
“Yes, let me get another chair.” Louis said, leaning up off of the desk. He stood up but before he could leave the office to get another chair, Harry was grabbing his hand.
The words that came out of Harry’s mouth made Louis’ knees weak and heart beat quicken. “Just sit on my lap.” Harry said. Whatever he said afterwards didn’t make it into Louis’ ears as he was moving quickly over to Harry and placing himself on Harry’s lap.
Louis would take anything Harry wanted to give him; hand touching, lap sitting, all of it. Louis hadn't realized he was holding his breath until it came out in a quiet sigh. “Okay so th-this one will be slightly different right?” He asked as he pointed at the sheet of paper in front of him.
2) Quietly Our Hearts Beat | Explicit | 7539 words
Note: This fic is locked and can only be read by AO3 users.
Louis and Harry in the universe of ‘A Quiet Place’.
3) A Love Reaction | Explicit | 9968 words
Note: This fic is locked and can only be read by AO3 users.
Louis’s staring up at him, head tilted slightly back, and his blue eyes are glassy, locked with Harry’s in an unblinking and gentle gaze. He looks ready to do whatever Harry says, to please him whatever way.
4) To Love Without Reason | Explicit | 8854 words
“Come on in, soldier,” Louis pats Harry’s chest and walks away, leaving Harry to follow behind.
Harry stands in the living room, looking around at Louis’ dwelling. Family pictures placed high on a shelf, certificates of Louis’ practice, and other trinkets that make Harry entirely too nostalgic.
“I have to warn you,” Louis says as he puts the kettle on, the water droplets from his hair trickling down the golden skin of his back. “The door jams if you lock it so you'll have to leave it ajar.”
Harry acknowledges with a soft hum, too entranced by Louis’ glistening skin to form a coherent reply.
5) No Good Unless It’s Real | Explicit | 17021 words
Louis is a very busy farmer who’s just trying to make it to his next nap and Harry’s the new hot vet that’s determined to infiltrate every area of his life.
6) A Springtime’s Wilt, An Autumn’s Bloom | Explicit | 20593 words
Harry is Louis' personal chauffeur, and although he hides his feelings for his boss behind a wall of rigid professionalism, Louis still manages to squeeze through the cracks.
7) Ready To Fall | Explicit | 21220 words
“Ninety and rising,” Nick says triumphantly, as though making Harry’s heartbeat pick up by thrusting an obscenely attractive person in front of his face is any kind of success. “Louis Tomlinson has just walked into our control room and suddenly our dear Harry Styles has lost all ability to speak. Could this be some kind of strange coincidence?”
“I hate you,” Harry hisses, forcing his eyes back into Nick’s direction, uncaring that the mic must have picked it up. “I thought we agreed that you were going to play fair.”
“I’m sure I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Nick denies, except he’s holding up a picture of Louis’ face now, sharp cheekbones prominent, soft lashes nearly sweeping against his cheeks as he looks down, and his fucking mouth –
“A hundred and two!” Nick crows, all but clapping his hands together in glee. “The highest it’s ever been!”
“To be fair, I did bend over the desk on purpose,” Louis’ voice comes crackling in the headphones. Harry practically breaks his neck whipping his head around at the sound of it, gaping at him through the glass panel. “You can’t really blame him for getting a little excited about that, can you?”
8) Written In The Stars (That’s You And Me) | Explicit | 22632 words
Louis pushes himself up on one elbow and stretches enough to just barely trace his fingertips over Harry’s jawline. Harry’s eyes drop to track his movements as he does it again. “D’you feel that?” he whispers.
To him, it feels like all of the universe’s magic lives just beneath his skin when he touches Harry with intent. It feels like something special. Louis watches Harry’s lips part and wants to touch that too. He almost does, but then Harry shakes his head. “Feel what?”
9) Middle Ground | Explicit | 23561 words
Note: This fic is locked and can only be read by AO3 users.
Harry moves to a new town for work where he meets the enigma that is Louis Tomlinson.
10) England Has My Bones | Explicit | 24087 words
The next time Harry thinks about calling, it’s 4.14 in the morning on a Parisian hotel balcony.
11) Like A Siren In The Night | Explicit | 24868 words
“There is an infestation in my home,” Louis hisses, righting himself quickly and pushing his way past Harry, heading directly for the kitchen. He’s rather haphazardly dressed himself, a coat thrown on over a loose flannel shirt and black pants, slippers on his feet.
Harry resists the urge to sigh, closing the door and trailing behind him slowly. “What kind of infestation?”
For all he knows, Louis is going to claim that there’s a ghost infestation. Harry has no idea what the end game is here – all he knows is that Louis has found at least three complaints a week to bring up since he’s been living on Harry’s property, and he’s been living here for six months.
It’s way too many fucking complaints, is what Harry is saying. Especially when most of them are ridiculous to start with.
12) Hold Onto This Heaven (Of Yours) | Explicit | 25213 words
An ode to being too young, too sad, and too in love.
13) The Devil’s In The Details | Explicit | 25372 words
He squeals when Harry smacks his bum as he bends over to pick up his bag, swinging it over his shoulder. Harry smiles smugly at him, bottom lip caught between his teeth. “When are you going to start calling me professor?” He asks.
“When you actually are one,” Louis says with his hand on the doorknob. He cocks his head to the side in curiosity. “Isn’t that how words work? You did study English, right?”
Louis’ quick to slip out the door before Harry can smack him again, his laugh echoing through the hallways as he makes his way to his next class with flushed cheeks and a bright smile.
14) A Trail Of Honey Through It All | Explicit | 27086 words
The boy in front of him, well really, the man in front of him, was like something out of a confusing wet dream. Built, tall, tan and muscular, his skin glistened with sweat after a long day of working outdoors with his hands. He was wearing a cut up old American football shirt, the bottom hem was torn and the sleeves were cut off to the point where the t-shirt was really just a loose tank top. The shorts he had on had clearly been full length jeans at one point, and were now just crudely cut off above the knee. His white socks were pulled up too high on his calves, and the brown work boots he had on were old as fuck, the leather peeling along the edges of the soles. Curly brown hair stuck out from the edges of his backwards snapback, and there was a smudge of grease wiped along his brow bone. The smattering of hair along his jaw proved that he hadn’t shaved in a week or two, the hair growing in thicker across his upper lip and around his chin. His sinfully bowed mouth was pink and plump, and Louis was suddenly hyper-focused on the way that he chewed at the toothpick stuck between his lips. He looked like he needed a shower. Louis wanted to lick him.
15) You Fit In My Poems (Like A Perfect Rhyme) | Explicit | 27598 words
The one where Harry works in an old bookshop and Louis is the pretty stranger that ends up stranded there in the middle of a storm.
16) Where The Lights Are Beautiful | Mature | 31170 words | Sequel
The accidental bonding A/B/O fic.
17) Once Upon A Dream | Explicit | 33319 words | Sequel
Louis is psychic and gets caught in the middle of a murder investigation led by FBI Special Agent Harry Styles.
18) Stuck On You | Explicit | 33983 words
Louis’ life revolves around his stickers. Harry’s life revolves around his job. The universe has decided their worlds should revolve around each other.
19) Coeur De Pirate | Explicit | 34207 words
He tilts his chin up as the Captain strides across the deck, his footfalls falling loudly against the planks. The crew watches them from afar.
Stepping into his space, the Captain wraps an arm around Louis’ waist and pulls him in. He lowers his head to breathe his words against Louis’ cheeks. “I won,” he whispers, “I’ve come to claim my prize.”
20) What This World Is About | Explicit | 34472 words
An eighties American high school AU; there are first times, football games, and feelings.
Alternatively titled: the beginning.
21) Close To Nowhere | Explicit | 34589 words
Louis and Harry are psychics who kind of hate each other. They go to Tennessee to investigate a haunting.
22) Before We Knew | Explicit | 39830 words
Louis has been skeptical of soulmates for years so it seems like fate when he finally bumps into the owner of the obnoxiously large signature printed onto his skin since age sixteen: Harry Styles, a human rights attorney who is firmly against soulmates.
23) The Space Between | Explicit | 39917 words
Harry Styles is the alpha rockstar who can’t sleep and doesn’t know why.
Louis Tomlinson is the omega PhD student who helps him figure it out.
24) The Sweetest Incantation | Explicit | 40580 words
Harry is a witch who's still working on developing his powers and Louis is a werecat who falls into his life and turns it upside down.
25) Worth Dying For | Explicit | 44906 words
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Louis says, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms over his chest. In the center of the table, a set of three glossy photos stares up at him, mocking him.
“A security detail is non-negotiable, Louis, you know this,” his mum reminds him, tapping the middle photo with two fingers.
Louis doesn’t look back down at the pictures, gesturing towards them wildly, over-dramatically. “This is not a security detail!” he protests. “This is a lanky college student. In what world do you hire someone like this kid to protect me?”
26) Tastes Like Summer, Smiles Like May | Explicit | 47519 words
A cold prince, an alpha with nothing left to lose and a kingdom with a secret.
27) Love’s Truest Language | Explicit | 48195 words
The first part was meant as a joke. He didn't really expect Harry to buy anything. It was just Louis’ way of softening the ‘get the fuck out’ blow.
“Where's your order forms, then?”
“I don't want your flowers.” Louis chided before directing all of his attention to the arrangement in front of him.
Harry laughed under his breath as he stood to his full height, “Who said anything about them being for you, love?”
28) Through The Wheatfields And The Coastlines | Explicit | 52855 words
The one where Louis needs inspiration, and a certain cowboy and his lamb are the perfect distraction.
29) Latibule | Mature | 54322 words
“Vampires,” Louis says with disgust, glaring over at the vampire who is noisily slurping from the woman’s neck nearby.
Zayn gives the neat fang marks on Louis’ neck a meaningful look.
“Can’t live with them, can’t live without them,” Louis finishes, ignoring Zayn when he rolls his eyes.
Louis takes a long sip of his milkshake, presses his fingers against the marks on his neck, and definitely doesn’t think about the vampire who left them there.
34) Through Struggles, To The Stars | Explicit | 80582 words
Louis is a Starfleet captain trying to find his place in the universe. Harry is a prince just trying to do what's right.
35) I Want You So Much (But I Hate Your Guts) | Mature | 83648 words
He is determined to make it big in the football world, though, and he can't do that bound to an Omega team. With the help of a faked doctor's certificate and some pretty strong suppressants he is ready to fight for his dream.
That Harry Styles (Alpha, second year and youngest football captain of the A-B team in ages) doesn't seem to like him complicates matters, though.
36) Where You Lay | Explicit | 86038 words
When Louis's upcoming heat threatens his success at his new dream job, he asks the best (and only) person he can think of to help him through it: his best mates' best mate, Harry Styles.  Harry reluctantly accepts, and together the two navigate a strange friends with benefits relationship that quickly turns complicated.
37) And Down The Long And Silent Street | Mature | 86090 words
Wherein Louis and Harry are on the opposite ends of the social ladder, but their paths still cross on the filthy streets Louis calls his home. The odds are staked against them from the beginning, and even more when Louis' past finally catches up with him.
38) Swim In The Smoke | Explicit | 101778 words
“What about this, Captain?” Liam asks, nudging the boy kneeling between their feet with the toe of his boot. The boy hisses and swipes at him, slurring out something unintelligible around the makeshift gag Niall had to stuff in his mouth. He misses by a mile and tries again, just as ineffectively.
Harry looks down at him, at the way the sun streams over his face and shoulders, at the way the gag stretches his mouth, lips pink and chapped. He’s lithe and pretty, smudged all over with dirt. They had found him tied up below deck, mostly unconscious, next to a barrel full of gold. He’s clearly a prisoner, but there’s something familiar about him, something that niggles at Harry’s brain. Something he can’t quite put his finger on.
“Put him in my cabin,” Harry decides, turning back to deal with the rest of the loot. The boys screams out jumbled curse words at Harry’s back, muffled by the gag, and Harry can’t understand any of it.
39) The Galaxy’s Edge | Explicit | 113921 words
Things never quite go as they are planned during a simple rescue job.
40) Tainted Saints And Velvet Vices | Explicit | 126057 words | Sequel (WIP)
A self-fulfilling Hogwarts AU in which Louis is new to seventh year and Harry is the resident devil-may-care Slytherin set to make his entire experience a living misery. Due to less than favourable circumstances they're forced to forge an unwilling, tentative relationship for their own survival. Repressed emotions, decidedly unromantic ballroom dancing, Triwizard Tournament tasks, creative jinxes and twilight flying above the Forbidden Forest ensue.
i dunno if requests are still open but if they are, could i request this? if not, feel free to delete! but in case they are open here's the request: jean, beidou, and ganyu reacting to accidentally hurting their s/o? it could be anything from simple slap in the face while turning around or hurting them with their vision/weapon :]
Accidents
(ouchie -- having them accidentally hurt the reader T.T -- they didn’t mean too!)
Warning-> SFW, accidental injury (Character -> Reader)(face injury (Jean)), (meantions of cuts to face / arms (Ganyu)), (hit by rope (Beidou))
Character X GN Reader | Anthology
Includes: Beidou, Jean, Ganyu
Beidou
She takes pride in keeping everyone on her crew safe, no matter the danger - on sea or land, she will fight and guard each person in her charge -- you are no exception and in fact, you are probably the one she fights the hardest for. The thought of seeing you hurt doesn’t sit well with her and, if she can control it, she’d never let it happen
How could she have known that she’d be the one to cause you discomfort -- that she’d end up allowing you to get hurt because she let something slip through her fingers … pride was a strong emotion, but guilt could send a pirate to the bottom of the ocean
The weather had made a sudden turn for the worst. Dark clouds rolled overhead as the crew furled the sales to protect them from the downpour that was bound to arrive any second now.
“Captain!” Beidou’s attention shifted to the crow's nest, her scout pointing violently toward a massive cumulus cloud in the distance. She knew it was bound to smash right them if they maintained this heading, so in an effort to avoid it, she ran toward the bow barking orders.
“Tack to starboard! Finnick,” She turned to point at the several crew waiting on the foredeck, “raise the spinnaker, now.” They quickly bustled to their jobs while she found herself at the head of the boat. Her arms crossed as she oversaw the work of her crew; great pride swelling in her chest to see how organized they were even without her voice like a well-oiled machine everyone did their part.
As the creaking boat turned, heading parallel now to the storm, Beidou hoped that it would stay on its heading so the Crux wouldn’t have to bear the brunt of its onslaught. It was now a waiting game, but if she knew anything about the ocean - it would be a win for her today.
Just then, a rope tying one of the many large sails snapped. Its reaction was like a domino effect and soon all hands were rushing to stop a potentially catastrophic outcome. Leaping over the railing, she landed hard onto the deck below, her feet finding solid ground long enough for her to push forward and, before the other crew had a chance to react, she was already climbing the mainmast as if it were a simple tree. It took her no time at all to reach the issue but the strong winds continued to whip around the ropes below her and by the time she managed to capture them - her eyes fell onto your frame.
In terrible slow motion, she watched as you reached for the rope only to have it collide into your chest and knock you back into another crew member. Her heart sank, her arms burned, her determination steadfast as she made quick work of the problem before dropping back down to you.
“Are you alright?” Someone called, their hands reaching to you as if to offer some assistance but Beidou knocked them away. Orders were told, tasks were assigned, and before you could object, she carried you into her quarters.
When the door closed and she sat you on her bed, you could already tell how upset she was. “Beidou -- it was an accident, I didn’t have good footing and …” She uncrossed your arms, you didn’t even realize that you were holding onto your chest. Carefully peeling back your tunic, she noticed the welt that was starting to grow in the area below your collarbone. With a huff, she walked away before returning with a cloth. “You’re being silly, it’s not that ba-AD!” You shouted, the cold material shocking you as it came into contact with your burning injury.
“This could have been much worse. You’re lucky it only bruised the surface.” Sitting next to you, she rested her knee near your lower back, and the warmth of her leg as she moved close to you somehow offset the ice on your chest.
“I’m just upset I didn’t grab it, it was right there and then … ah - that’s sore.” She tested your shoulder, pushing against it with her palm and shaking her head at the notion that you were going to have a painful recovery.
“You are a member of this crew and I have sworn an oath to protect you, but …” Her head dropped and she found it hard to continue. 'How could I let this happen' was written all over her expression.
“Hey, it wasn’t your fault. You’re an excellent captain.”
“A captain keeps her ship on course, its belly full, and its crew happy. How can I do that when my happiness is your wellbeing?” Her fingers ran over your ear, slipping in between the locks of your hair as if to show you how much she cherished you. Carefully, she leaned toward you, her lips connecting softly onto your shoulder as they trailed a path to your injury and even in the numbness of it you were still able to feel the heat from her love. “If you are ever out of your depth, allow me to be your lifeline.”
“Of course, as long as you trust me to know when I'm there.”
“Within reason.” As the boat rocked on the sea and the sky rumbled far into the distance, you captured the steady heart of the captain.
Jean
Jean would never intentionally harm you, the thought of putting someone innocent in danger makes her sick - as the acting Grandmaster she has a sworn duty to protect everyone around her from those who would do them harm
So when she's the one who caused your injury, she's beside herself with regret
She stood in her office, her back to the door as she let her mind wander on all the things that needed to be done. It was never-ending, and while she was always fulfilled by the products of her work, she often pushed herself so far that her body and mind became clouded.
Today was one of those days. The work, planning, problem-solving was weighing on her. There is never enough time, she thought to herself as she rested her head in her hand and squeezed tighter around her rib cage. She was distracted, so exhausted that her ears felt blocked, her body swayed even though she knew she wasn't moving, and her head throbbed.
"Jean ..." What needed to be done first, she pinched her nose and through harder. "Jean?" She sighed and attempted to stop the voices in her head.
"Jean, hey?" A hand touched her arm and in her daze, she turned suddenly. Her hand was further from her face than she expected and with a solid smack, she hit something.
"Ah!" Your startled voice shook her back to understanding, your expression and hand now covering your face sent her heart in the pit of her stomach.
"Y/N? I'm so sorry ..." She rested her hand on your arm and shakily reached for your face, her fingers tenderly touching the ones that hid you from her pained eyes. "I didn't -- are you badly hurt?"
"Ouch, you got me really good." You explained, scrunching and circling your nose but allowing her to take your hand.
"My mind was elsewhere, I am ... I'm sorry." She ran her hands over your face, the warm feeling of wind slipping from her fingers and soon your expression eased.
"Thanks, It was an accident, don't worry."
"An accident like this should have never occurred, it is unbecoming of me to allow myself to falter." She stepped away from you, afraid that any prolonged contact would make it worse.
"Jean, you're allowed to make mistakes, and look - I'm fine, see." You grinned proudly but she couldn't let it go.
"I need to make amends."
"Mmm, well then, I have an idea."
"What is it?" She looked at you hopeful, her eyes watching you as you stepped closer.
"I'll take a kiss as an apology." You tapped the side of your cheek and presented it to her.
With hesitating hands, she rested her fingers on the other side of your cheek and let her lips touch the skin she hurt, "I will be more observant in the future."
You turned your head, your face so close you could feel her breath, "I don't see how that's possible, but if it means I get to have more of your attention, I'll be okay with that."
You kissed her and wondered if she was able to heal through her lips.
Ganyu
The absolute sweetest soul in all of Teyvat. She cares deeply for all things, works hard to get the job done, and is dedicated in her actions - it's one reason why her contract with Rex Lapis was drafted; she is the epitome of ____
She would never maliciously hurt those around her and often puts herself in harm's way to keep others safe
To her, causing harm to someone she adores, loves, cherishes would be as severe as breaking her contract
The two of you ran through the field, your legs burning as you dashed across the landscape and away from your persistent pursuers.
"Ganyu! Up ahead!" You shouted, pointing to the higher ground and dashing in that direction. She followed, keeping an eye out on the enemies behind. To buy some time, she laid down her tantalizing cryo flower before picking up her pace to reach you.
"From here we can handle them more easily, just be ready." She nodded her head and pulled back her bow, ready to strike.
The fight was far more doable in this arena, each enemy falling one after another as the two of you fought in perfect sync. Charging her shot, she saw the ideal opportunity to hit multiple targets at once, but as soon as her arrow flew so did you.
"Y/N!" She shouted but you were too far away and, as soon as you reached them, prepping your sword for a swing, the arrow exploded hitting everything in its path. You yelled, sliding on the ground only to slam hard into the dusty surface. In an instant, everything that Ganyu was, and wasn't, aiming for fell.
Rushing forward, she reached you and quickly assessed your condition. Her hands hovering, her eyes scanning only to find the damage she had caused. Several small cuts appeared on your face, your arms were equally damaged and the despair that filled her was so great she prostrated herself before you. Her head resting on your hips as she bowed deeply.
"Ga-Ganyu? What are you doing?" You asked, setting your sword to the side as you looked down at her.
"I hurt you, please forgive me." You tried to pull her up but she shook her head and dug in deeper into her display.
"It was an accident, I wasn't looking and that was a good shot. I'm not hurt."
"You are!" She shot up, her eyes looking at the marks that she had created on your skin. "It was my fault that you have -- if-if they leave a scar ... I ..." She shook her head, unable to finish her thought.
"Ganyu ... they won't leave a scar, and even if they did, don't you think I'd look super cool?" You smiled but she hated it.
"It's not acceptable ... if you'd like to d-dismantle our contract, I understa-"
You wrapped your arms around her, squeezing tightly as you spoke. "I don't want that, I'd never want that. I need you, please don't ever think I'd be okay if you weren't at my side." After a moment, she returned the gesture and you felt the pressure of her nose dig into your neck. When she finally pulled away, you let your hands slide down her arms and rest into her delicate hands.
"I'll just have to practice harder." She nodded fiercely as she helped you stand up.
"If you insist." You laughed, thinking to yourself when she would ever find the time to do that.
Happy Birthday Mosshead!🍻💕💕 I didn’t add the Mihawk part, just because I felt it was a bit too specific and I want others to enjoy it too, but please feel free to image the reader is Mihawk’s kid!  Reader is female!
Just in case; tw/cw for mentions of pregnancy
Babe Below~!
Roronoa Zoro
Tumblr media
The rest of the day had passed in a blur for the green headed man, most of his crew were ranting about him not wanting to celebrate his birthday for another year, but he didn’t see the point nor cared, it was just another day. Though one thing did bother the man, he hadn’t seen you much of the day. Not that it being his birthday was the problem, it just wasn’t like you to be gone for so long.
Hearing the other two women of the crew talk amongst themselves as they made their way over to the lounging man. Nami gave him a look of annoyance while Robin only smiled, both knowing something he didn’t. Raising a brow at them, Robin only giggled while Nami let out a huff. “I swear, you don’t deserve y/n, I can’t believe it.”
Annoyed at her words, he went to speak up, but Robin beat him to it as she placed a hand on the ginger girl’s shoulder. “Now, now, we can’t prevent what happens between lovers, besides I think he will be just fine.”
More confused than annoyed now, he asked where you were as Robin let him know you were with Chopper in the small clinic of the ship. Nodding, he made his way over to see you leaving, a look of surprise on your face. “Zoro! Happy Birthday!”
Running over to the samurai, hugging him as you looked up at the man with a smile. “I have your birthday present, sorry it took awhile.”
Shrugging his shoulders, he didn’t really mind, still curious to know why you were in the clinic in the first place, but your excitement at seeing him open the small thin box led him to wait on his question. Opening the box, Zoro stared at the cloth in confusion, the wording go over his head.
“Oi, if this is for me, how do you know what my dad looks like?” Giving him a look, you took out the cloth and showed him the onesie, smiling once more, hoping he understood now. Again, he just stared in confused frustration. “I can’t wear this, you made it too small!”
“Oh my god, you idiot, she’s pregnant!” Both of you facing the annoyed red headed woman, she groaned in annoyance at the scene in front of her. Laughing awkwardly, you turned back to your lover as he stared at the onesie in shock. Waiting patiently for his reaction, the man only smirked a bit in thought as he looked back up at you. “Guess I beat Dartboard Brow at this too, huh?”
Enigmatic Feelings II
Characters: Beidou, Childe, Eula, gn!reader
Word Count: 5,402
Warnings: Swearing
Premise: In which the reader’s s/o is jealous
Author’s Note: Decided to tack on two characters to the request. This is my first time writing for Eula, and I think this prompt really fit her. She really reminds me of Kaguya Shinomiya in mindset, which is kinda hilarious. I hope I wrote her well!
In case you’re wondering, I kept all the NPCs gender neutral so that the reader might interpret them as they wish.
Beidou
Beidou and her crew tended to get drunk. Like, a lot. Rowdy parties soaked in alcohol, audible from Guyun Stone Forest to Qingce Village were simply part of ship culture. Though they might’ve been loud and somewhat disorganized, there was never any sense of overstepping boundaries, and things never ended up going too far.
Or at least that’s what Beidou would’ve liked to think. Watching you and another shipmate moseying up to one another was a surprisingly unpleasant experience, and Beidou took another swig of her flask to wash out the acidic taste in the back of her mouth.
What did it even matter if someone was flirting with you? It was the end of a long haul, emotions were running high, and everyone knew that you were the captain’s partner. Everyone knew that nothing serious would come of a little flirting, and the occasional compliment or teasing remark towards you here and there had never really bothered Beidou before. She wasn’t about to be jealous of a few flirty shipmates; after all, the ability to sweet talk should probably be a requirement for signing up for piracy anyways.
Maybe it was just how blatant the flirting was, so different than the usual passing, good-natured banter. Beidou knew how well each of her shipmates could hold their liquor. She also knew how quickly norms and rules tended to be thrown out the window the moment one got plastered. Even if the shipmate meant nothing truly malicious or devious in their words, Beidou couldn’t rule out the fact that they were probably genuinely flirting.
Neither could she ignore the fact that you were distinctly flirting back. Beidou wasn’t really surprised by this turn of events, after all you’d always responded with a good natured tease at the remarks flown you way and even engaged in some meaningless flirting yourself towards the other members of the ship. It was part of ship culture after all, to be so open and careless. The sea was never calm or placid, why should her voyagers be so? Still, Beidou couldn’t deny the fact that she was uncomfortable by the current situation, protocol be damned.
A part of her wanted to go up and tell you right out; you were her partner, and she was sure that you’d be able to understand what she was feeling. Yet pride kept her at her seat, downing more liquor to distract herself from her conundrum. After all, it’d be kind of hypocritical of her to cultivate a familiar ship culture and then turn around and revoke it at the drop of a hat, wouldn’t it? Nor would it feel right to enforce rules upon others that she herself didn’t follow. It’s not like Beidou hadn’t ever flirted with or teased someone else without thinking too much about it. How could she blame her crew for following her example?
Still the sight of you and your shipmate danced in front of her eyes, urging her to do something she’d surely regret. Beidou let out a loud sigh, something that wasn’t ignored by the people around her.
“You alright captain?” Juza eyed Beidou worriedly. One of the other hard drinkers on the ship, Beidou knew that she couldn’t rely on alcohol to allay her Chief Mate’s worries.
“I’m fine!” She spoke loudly, plastering a large grin upon her face. “I was just thinking about how proud I am of all of you! How much of a tight-knit crew we are!”
Beidou could tell that she was garnering the attention of the rest of the shipmates and stood up. She had neglected to make a speech so far, so wrapped up was she in the scene playing out before her eyes. Clearing her throat Beidou held up her flask, the eager anticipation of her crewmates combining with the liquid fire in her system, causing a wave of rash confidence to run through her. At least she was an entertaining speechmaker.
“I look out upon the faces of warriors now! We may be somewhat irregular, an anomaly of the seas. However, that doesn’t change our bond, our fierce loyalty, our capabilities. I look out upon a group of people closer than family! Perhaps you’ve had brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles, but tell me this! Could any of those members of your previous lives fight back to back with you? No! They could not! We are a special breed, and there will never be anyone who can understand us as we can understand each other! And we ought to never forget this! Do not forget the brotherhood forged by fire. I know that I never will!”
Cheers erupted from every corner as sailors drank gleefully. A few of the more out of commission crewmates were sobbing uglily, hugging whoever was in their vicinity and making slightly incomprehensible statements of affection and loyalty. Beidou sat down, smiling at the chaos in front of her. Yes, she really was part of a band of brothers, and there was no reason to forget or doubt that. Why was it then that she felt as if she’d been somewhat deceitful? And why was it then that her eyes once more drifted towards you and the sailor who was now enthusiastically slapping you on the back?
The rest of the night passed in a haze of alcohol, as Beidou downed drink after drink. She didn’t walk up to you, didn’t try to acknowledge the source of her unease. Why should she? It was a party after all, and there were other things to do. Passing out just as the sun was beginning its ascent once more into the sky Beidou wondered if she was always going to feel this way when anyone got slightly flirty with you. If so, well, she was in for a rough time.
The next day was greeted by a pounding headache. The sun was much too bright, and Beidou let out an annoyed yelp as she stumbled towards her window, trying to not fall flat on her face as she grasped for the curtains. Yanking on them awkwardly she had just managed to get them somewhat closed before there was a knock on her door. Cursing the captain drew herself up as much as she possibly could in her current state, hoping that her clothes didn’t look too much like she’d simply slept in them.
“Come in.”
“I thought you might want a pitcher of water.”
Your voice was soft and slightly apologetic. Letting out a sigh of relief Beidou nodded, allowing herself to stumble back towards her hammock and flop onto the blanket. Wow she had drank a lot last night. You walked over to her desk, steps too steady to be that of a hungover person. Pouring a glass of water you stared at Beidou as she drank, a question in your eyes.
“What is it? You seem to want to ask me a question.”
“Are you sure you’re up to answering?”
“Well now I won’t be able to rest until you tell me it.”
“Fair enough,” you smiled. “Was something wrong last night?”
“Whaddya mean?”
“I mean you didn’t even walk over to me once. I was kind of surprised, to be honest.”
“Sorry about that.”
“It’s fine, I just want to know why you were avoiding me.”
“I wasn’t avoiding you.” Beidou wrinkled her nose. Her head throbbed in protest and she quickly dropped the expression, sighing before taking another drink of water. “Well, perhaps I was slightly avoiding; but it’s wasn’t your fault.”
“Whose fault was it then?”
Beidou paused, trying to gather her thoughts as she searched for an answer. “You know that I don’t mind some familiarity on this ship.”
“Yes, as you so eloquently put last night,” you giggled slightly. Ignoring the subtle tease Beidou continued on.
“Well, I mean it; but it seems like I’m not very good at following my own rules. That shipmate you were flirting with last night? I just, I don’t know. Normally I don’t mind, y’know? But this time, well, it couldn’t stop bothering me. Even though you didn’t seem to mind it at all.”
“I didn’t mind it because he was drunk off his ass.” You pointed out, voice still soft and understanding. Taking one of Beidou’s hands in yours you leaned over to press a quick kiss on your partner’s forehead. “I’m sorry to hear it was bothering you though.”
“It’s not just that,” Beidou admitted. It seemed the floodgates of her thoughts had opened, and now she felt the need to tell you everything. “It’s that I couldn’t even follow my own rules, that I couldn’t stop myself from feeling… almost resentful. A captain, a good leader, they follow their own rules. It’s the only way to whip all the idiots into shape. But I couldn’t do that, I failed last night; I failed as a leader, I failed as a partner. I couldn’t follow my own example. Some leader.”
“You’re being too hard on yourself,” you murmured. Squeezing Beidou’s hand you shook your head slightly. “I know that the people on this ship sort of see you as a goddess, which you are, to me at least. Still, even goddesses can sometimes have flaws. Besides, if a shipmate ever came to you with these fears you’d absolutely laugh it off, give them a pat on the back, and send them on their way. So maybe you should follow your own example in that way. Don’t beat yourself up about it.”
Beidou’s gut reaction was to contradict you, to point out once more how she had failed. However she was too tired, and your point was making a suspicious amount of sense. “Very well,” she smiled slightly, “you have a way with words darling. You sure you haven’t missed a career as a siren?”
“I already have a lovely sailor, thank you very much,” you giggled. Pressing soft kisses across Beidou’s cheeks you stood up. “Now drink a lot of water and get some rest. We can’t have our captain out of commission.”
“I trust I’m not the only one sleeping in today?”
“Oh definitely not! It’ll probably take a week before we’re in any shape to treasure hunt again.”
“Pity.”
“So greedy!” You gasped in fake surprise.
“As if you didn’t know that when you signed up.”
“I don’t know I never pegged you as the jealous type,” you said in a sing-song voice. Beidou felt her cheeks redden.
“Shaddup.”
Your laughter filled the cabin, bright and rejuvenating. Beidou couldn’t help but crack a small smile herself. How had she ever gotten so lucky in regards to her partner? Regardless of how, she wasn’t about to take you for granted.
  Childe
Childe liked to think of himself as one of the “good ones” when it came to Harbingers to work under. Was he somewhat demanding and only expected the best when it came to combat? Well, yes. Did he regularly debase his coworkers and underlings? No, he wasn’t Scaramouche after all. As long as you were passionate in your drive to serve the Tsaritsa and as long as you never missed out on your training, well Childe was sure that he could never have a problem with you.
That was, in fact, not true.
One of the Fatui messengers had been talking to you for almost twenty minutes now, though about what Childe hadn’t the slightest idea. After all, he’d already gotten the message that he needed, and the messenger surely had no business with you – you didn’t even work for the Fatui. Still there the messenger stood and there you stood next to him, a small smile on your face as you let out a soft laugh in regards to whatever they were saying.
Childe knew that he had no reason to feel as he did, but that didn’t stop irritation from rising inside him, and a sudden urge to flaunt his superiority that he usually reserved for the field of battle rose up inside of him. He didn’t quite understand why he was suddenly struggling against the urge to run up to you and throw his arms around you, but the urge was certainly there. What in Teyvat were you talking to that messenger about? What could possibly take up so much of your time? Considering the small fragments of conversation that made it to his ears Childe ruled that it was nothing truly of importance.
Letting himself lounge even more across his office chair Childe let out a slight sound of annoyance. Weren’t the two of you doing something before the nuisance came along? Sure, it wasn’t necessarily the most important thing, but discovering the best place in Liyue to study the stars was hardly worthless. After all, being somewhere high up and with a good view meant a better survey of the land around you. Who knew when some pesky Millelith or intrepid adventurer might try to attack the Fatui members scattered across the plains and mountains in Liyue? It was imperative to have eyes on everything, certainly more important than whatever this was!
Finally giving into his rising irritation Childe walked over to the two of you. Slinging an arm around your shoulder, Childe tried to give the messenger a smile that didn’t convey ‘scram or I’m kicking you out’. “I’m so sorry to interrupt, but my partner and I have business to do and I’m sure that your other messages won’t deliver themselves. To the Tsaritsa information is everything and all that, so you should probably make sure people actually get said information.”
“Oh, uh, yes my lord. I’m sorry.”
The messenger pulled himself up straighter, giving an awkward bow. Turning to go the messenger didn’t fail to turn back around to give you one last smile. Accentuating his smile once more Childe finally detached himself from you as the messenger walked out of the office, shutting the door softly behind him.
After that the messenger seemed to be showing up everywhere. Childe could’ve sworn he was getting more mail in a week than he had in all his previous months in Liyue. Not to mention how awkward the timing of the deliveries seemed to seemed to be. What was the point of getting “important” mail right before the Bank ostensibly closed? What was Childe supposed to do with the information now? Never mind the fact that the letters and notes he was getting seemed to be getting more and more mundane, even nonsensical. A shipment of weaponry to be picked up, that might be important. But specifications on the renovations Dottore was making on his lair? Why would Childe ever need to know something like that?
Nor did it escape Childe’s notice that these messages always seemed to come with at least twenty minutes of conversation with you. How was the Harbinger supposed to concentrate when someone was yakking away in his office? Besides, what did it matter to you what this person’s favorite flowers were? Childe knew that the Tsaritsa was often quite ingenious in her schemes, but he truly couldn’t see what relaying someone’s favorite flowers could do? Had he mentioned before that you weren’t even a member of the Fatui?
Every day the messenger would endlessly chat with you about the stupidest things, and every day Childe would end up interrupting the two of you. What started with slinging an arm around your shoulder was slowly escalating. First it was an arm, then two, then an arm around your waist, then a head on your shoulder. One time he’d even pulled you right against him, smiling slightly as you let out a squeak of surprise.
Of course Childe knew what he was experiencing, was not necessarily unfamiliar with the concept of jealousy. Still, he wasn’t about to tell you about it. After all jealousy was a shallow, grasping sort of emotion; something that caused generals to fight against one another to approach him or the Harbingers instead of tending to their own troops. Jealousy was a useless sort of emotion, and not one that a warrior such as himself ought to feel. Besides, did he really need to feel jealous about an annoyingly persistent messenger? They were hardly above a weed in the hierarchy of things.
Still, Childe couldn’t exactly deny that he was feeling jealous. Avoidance was one thing, deceit was another. Even if he didn’t want to tell you about what he was feeling, he would never lie to you about it. Which is why at the end of another tedious twenty minute conversation when the messenger had finally left and you turned around to ask him if something was wrong Childe found himself frozen, stuck between quite the rock and a hard place.
“Why would you ask such a question darling? Does something seem wrong to you?”
“Childe, please. You’ve been clingier than barnacle recently. Are you even supposed to be at the office today; weren’t you supposed to inspect an outpost in Dragonspine today?”
“I just wanted to spend some time with my wonderful, amazing partner! Is there something wrong with that?”
“For you? Yes, there absolutely is. Childe, are, are you upset about something?”
Childe stared at you for a moment, crumbling under your persistent gaze. He could tell that you were worried, could tell in the slant of your mouth and the furrow of your brow. He couldn’t very well say no. That would be lying after all. He was upset about something, even if it was something utterly beneath him. He was still upset.
“That messenger has been annoying me.”
“The one that just left?” You turned to look at the closed door behind you, a puzzled expression on your face. “But why?”
“Isn’t it obvious? They’re flirting with you.”
“They’re not!” Your expression was incredulous, but you paused for a moment, obviously thinking about something very seriously. “At least, I don’t think they are. Are they?”
“Yes,” Childe let out a snort. “I can’t believe you didn’t notice. Why else would they be delivering the most worthless information before chatting with you when they should be somewhere else?”
“I guess you’re right,” you admitted. “But Childe, it’s not like I’d ever be interested in them. I mean, I can see how it’d be kind of annoying to have someone invade your personal space, but why the clinginess?”
Childe stared at you for a moment. “You’re kinda dense you know.”
“I’m not!”
“Oh you absolutely are. How else would you not realize that I’m jealous?”
“Well, well because I don’t know. You just don’t seem the jealous type. Besides, it’s not like I’d ever have interest in anyone other than you. I don’t know, I just don’t see the point.”
“You really are dense.” Childe smiled a small, frustrated smile. Letting his head drop into the crook of your neck he let out sigh. “I know that there’s no reason that I should’ve be jealous. I just, am. I don’t know why, but seeing that messenger flirting with you for days on end, I couldn’t help it.”
“Hey, it’s alright.” Your tone shifted slightly as you reached up to card gentle fingers through Childe’s orange locks. “Sometimes we’re just weird like that. Just as long as you know that you never have reason to be jealous, then you can be jealous sometimes. Alright?”
“Alright.” Childe whispered, finally letting himself relax a bit.
Raising his head he pressed a soft kiss to your lips. You let out a small purr of happiness, gladly reciprocating. The weight on the Harbinger’s chest lightened, and he was finally met with the feeling of lazy contentment.
“Now, don’t you have an inspection to attend?” You smiled indulgently. “Go on, I’ve got errands to do anyways. As much as I appreciate the attention, you have to lessen the clinginess, okay?”
“Can’t make any promises darling.”
The sound of your indignant squawk, combined with Childe’s laughter, chased him out of the room and down the staircase.
  Eula
As a member of the esteemed Lawrence family Eula was confident in the fact that such base emotions as jealousy were utterly beneath her. What did people take her for? A commoner? What a presumptuous line of thought!
No, it was certainly not jealousy that Eula was feeling right now. What a preposterous notion. She was simply irritated that a Guild member had forgotten all respect due to the Knights of Favonius. After all, you were a part of Mondstadt’s frontline protectors, a far cry from those poor fools who relied only upon commission to prove their worth. Yes, it was simply how presumptuous that lowly Guild member was being, taking up your time on your patrol across the parapet of the wall surrounding Monstadt, to engage in such a frivolous act as flirting.
Surely there was nothing more to it? No, it was not even worth it to pose such a stupid question. After all, what was a lowly adventurer to Eula? A nuisance, perhaps, but nothing more. Certainly nothing to be worried about. There was no reason to pause at the tower door, no reason not to simply walk over to you, her partner and coworker. Your time on patrol was done, it was time to come in. Why then was she hesitating?
“You must love the view up here,” the adventurer smiled widely.
“Yes, it’s very nice!” You were all smiles.
“I’m sure it’s made all the more beautiful by your presence,” the adventurer pressed on.
“Ah, t-thanks,” you replied, smiling again and reaching to grasp the back of your neck. “Really, you’re too kind.”
“Not at all!”
The adventurer appeared to want to say something else, but Eula had long ago decided that things had gone too far. Who did this mere Guild member think they were?
“Your time is up soldier, you are needed in the afternoon meeting.”
Eula tried to keep her posture as correct as possible, looking straight past the interloper to you. You seemed to brighten, rushing over to Eula and nodding enthusiastically.
“Eula! Of course! I’ll be down, right this instant.”
“Good,” Eula replied, giving a curt not. Glancing over towards the adventurer she crossed her arms. “As for you, layawaying a knight of Favonius is a blemish upon the Adventurer’s Guild. Such a discretion surely must be paid with vengeance. Mark my words, I will not let this deed go unpunished.”
The adventurer stiffed. Taking a step towards Eula their face contorted into a snarl. “Listen here you Lawrence –”
“We’ll be going now!” You jumped in, glancing at you Eula nodded. Turning around she kept her features neutral. However she noticed the way you gestured apologetically at the fool before going to follow Eula, expression one of undeniable embarrassment.
Perhaps it was too much to hope that the adventurer might’ve learned their lesson. There they were the next day, standing right in front of you, acting as if yesterday’s squabble had never happened. Talking your ear off just as before Eula couldn’t help but frown at how they were to you, how they always seemed just about to brush their fingers against yours. How crude to do such a thing to a perfect stranger.
“Dear, is everything alright?”
Your voice snapped Eula out of her reverie. The two of you were walking towards Headquarters to grab your extra equipment before heading home. Normally Eula cherished such quiet moments, feeling like they were the few times when she could be utterly confident, utterly herself. This time however she found the events of the week pressing on her. Only managing to nod Eula quickened her pace slightly, as if to outrun the feelings that were growing inside her.
 “Hey, is something wrong?”
Eula lifted her gaze away from the papers she’d been halfheartedly scanning, her eyes meeting Amber’s. Eula would be the first person to admit that she wasn’t exactly sure how she had become friends with the eccentric Outrider. Indeed most of the things about Amber on paper grated Eula quite a bit. Still Amber was probably Eula’s closest coworker – other than you – and closest thing to a best friend that Eula had. It was perhaps unsurprising that Amber should notice something was wrong, and Eula was almost pleased by the fact that Amber was concerned about her.
“Nothing of great importance,” the knight replied. “There is only a nuisance which has been taking up a great deal of time and seems to still be interfering, despite all my efforts.”
“What kind of nuisance?” Amber tilted her head. Eula looked away, staring at the shelves that lined her office. She didn’t really want to look her coworker in the eyes.
“A, human nuisance. There has been an adventurer from the Guild who has been taking up a great deal too much of my partner’s time. They are utterly too presumptive in familiarity, and I feel that they are jeopardizing the Knights of Favonius with their irresponsible actions. Yet, despite all my efforts, they refuse to rethink their devious ways. It is no small problem.”
“That does sound very unpleasant.”
“Indeed, and yet I know not what to do. My reprimands have fallen on deaf ears.”
“Have you thought of maybe telling your partner.”
“Why would I ever reveal such feelings to my partner?!” Eula whipped her head around to look at Amber. The smile on her face was somewhat self-congratulatory.
“Eula, can I ask if you’ve considered something?”
“What is that?” Whatever Amber was about to say, it wasn’t going to be good.
“Have you considered the possibility that you might be jealous?”
“What, what nonsense! As if I should ever fall prey to such, to such base sensibilities!” Eula felt her face redden. Finding a particularly dirty spot upon the ground Eula stared intently past her friend. No, surely Amber was wrong.
“If you say so,” Amber shrugged. “But you might want to think about it. I mean, if I were feeling jealous I’d want to tell my partner. Besides, isn’t it the duty of a knight of Favonius to be honest and true?”
“You’re taking this awfully seriously,” Eula mumbled.
“Maybe,” Amber smiled, “but I do care about you. Remember that.”
With that the Outrider grabbed the paper she’d presumably been looking for and walked out the door before Eula could think of any sort of comeback. Turning her gaze back to her work Eula let out an exasperated sigh. Vengeance would be required against her coworker for such a ridiculous suggestion.
It was beginning to get on evening as Eula raced towards your regular guard spot. She’d worked later than usual today, probably spurned on by irritation at Amber’s ridiculous suggestions, and now Eula hoped that you hadn’t given up waiting for her and decided to go home. Climbing up the stairs her mind drifted once more to what Amber had said. Jealous? A member of the Lawrence clan was jealous? No, it was surely ridiculous. I mean, sure, she found the majority of her family members repulsive and vain and lazy to a fault, but surely she had to take something out of all the time she had spent within their midst. Besides, appearances had to be kept up, if only for the song and dance that the other people of Liyue insisted on continuing, long after it had stopped being of any use.
And yet, if she really was jealous, which of course she wasn’t, wouldn’t it be right to tell you? It was these thoughts that chased Eula. As she reached the top of the stairs to the opening of the parapet she decided that, if Amber’s theory were somehow proved right, she would tell you. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, the familiar silhouette of an adventurer meant it was the perfect time to figure this question out.
“It’s pretty late, isn’t it?”
“Yes, I suppose it is,” you smiled. “Still, Monstadt must be guarded day and night, mustn’t it?”
“Ah yes, the Knights must do all they can to protect our glorious city. Still, would there not be another reason for you staying up here so late?”
“Not particularly,” you shook your head.
“Are you sure about that?” The adventurer leaned towards you. Eula once more felt her heart seize up with that now all too common emotion. Was this jealousy?
“Uhm, I’m pretty sure.” The more that Eula had watched this song and danse the more she had realized how awkward you seemed around this person.
“Oh come on, a lonely figure looking out from on a wall, it’s sounds pretty story-like doesn’t it? Then again, you are straight out of a fairytale.”
“Thanks,” you replied, laughing somewhat awkwardly.
At this point Eula had come to a decision. Regardless of what this emotion was, and she was becoming increasingly worried it was, in fact, jealousy, you still seemed to be somewhat uncomfortable. Walking out onto the parapet she took your hand, glaring at the adventurer which stood across from you.
“I see you are once more distracting one of the Knights.”
“They didn’t mind, did you?” The adventurer’s mouth screwed up into something resembling a sneer. When you said nothing they shook their head. “You just had to come and make everything awkward; typical of a Lawrence member to be such a pain in the ass.”
“And now you insult one of the Knights! Indeed, the punishment will surely be great; and, until I decide what punishment is to be meted out, I suggest you take your leave.”
“You can’t tell me what to do!” The adventurer sputtered, but Eula merely smiled.
“Indeed I can. If I find you harassing one of our Knights one more time, know that I will not be so lenient as to merely give you a warning.”
“I wasn’t harassing anyone!”
“Distracting them then, making them unable to perform their duties, being a public nuisance. Do any of these serve you better?” Eula waved her hand. “Not that the terminology matters at this point. What matters is that you stop your current behavior.”
“Please just listen to what Eula says,” you piped up. Smiling a small smile you walked over to the adventurer. “I know that you were just trying to flirt, but I think that you should shoot your shot elsewhere now. Okay?”
The adventurer looked slightly red in the face, though whether it was embarrassment or anger was anyone’s guess. Slinking away, grumbling something under their breath, the Guild member was soon down the stairs and out of sight.
Sighing loudly you turned to Eula.
“Thanks for that. I mean, really! I don’t think they were trying to be actively malicious, but really sometimes you just have to read a room! I’m just glad I didn’t have to break it to them by myself.”
Staring at the stones under her feet Eula found herself mumbling something.
“What?”
“It, it wasn’t for your sake.”
“Ah yes, I know, it was for the honor and glory of the Knights of Favonius! Still, thank you.”
“No, I didn’t mean that. It was that, well, Amber’s been talking to me.”
“Amber?” You tilted your head, evidently confused by the sudden turn of the conversation. “What was she talking to you about?”
“About a very foolish emotion, one that I would never dream of feeling myself. And yet, I, I do believe that maybe, just maybe mind you, it had a factor in, in my actions.” Unwilling to come right out with it Eula found herself frowning. “The audacity of her really, to imply that a member of the Lawrence family might experience something as base as jealousy!”
Looking up towards you Eula saw recognition pass over your features. For a moment you did nothing, then suddenly a small, soft smile broke out on your face. Walking over to Eula, you gently enclosed your partner’s hands in yours.
“Thank you for telling me Eula, I’m sure it must’ve been difficult.”
“I-I’m not sure about it yet!” Eula stammered. “Only Amber wouldn’t stop talking about it.”
“That does sound like Amber,” you let out a soft laugh. “Still, thank you for telling me. It means a lot to me, okay?”
“A-alright.”
“I’m glad.”
You leaned over to give Eula a quick peck, before turning to walk down the stairs. Eula followed, one of her hands still intertwined firmly with yours. Suddenly her heart felt lighter than it had all week.
