I am Lana, a Palestinian residing in Gaza. It is with deep sorrow that I reach out to you today, seeking assistance to relocate my family from Gaza to Egypt. Allow me to briefly share my family's story: During the war, we were compelled to move from the north to the south, experiencing displacement and enduring over seven evacuations. Our current living conditions are incredibly challenging. The situation in Gaza is dire, intolerable, and our lives are in grave danger.
I hope to be on your list or pin the post. Thank you for your humanity.
Relly Need Your Help To Evacuate Them To A Safe Plece As Soon As Possible Outside Gaza

On September 6, 1931, this building at the corner of 44th Street and 10th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen was almost entirely covered in advertisements, from the painted brick exterior to poster board signs.

Today, I'm sharing this raw and intimate live version of No Side To Fall In by the Raincoats from the legendary concert at The Kitchen For The Performing Arts, NYC.
It's always great to post songs from my collection that I haven't heard in ages!!!

I've talked about this on my regular blog but this is probably a better outlet for it : Eric Bogosian founded the dance series at The Kitchen, in NYC. Like. The Kitchen is a fucking institution of the avante-garde, and I had the fortune of one time when I was bored at NYC pride going to see a show there with my friend and it was a multi-level performance that was fucking incredible and Genesis P-Orridge was there because Wetware was performing and fuck I just love that Eric Bogosian is foundationally tied into that part of NYC history that I find so neat and cool

hey uh I've only used airbnb twice because I don't live in America but I'm seeing posts about how hotels are better in every way and while I can't speak to the accuracy of most arguments I'd like to point out the nuance that for people like me having access to a kitchen (something hotels basically never give) is absolutely a requirement if I'm staying more than like one night. The vast majority of food served in hotels and restaurants I can't eat and chances are I won't be able to check in advance if I'm going to run into enough exceptions to not make myself sick (twice I've gotten sick traveling because I wasn't able to find enough foods and spent a week eating like two ingredients, due to unforeseen complications). I need a kitchen or I can't risk going. Kitchenless hotel rooms are an accessibility issue.
