Heres my own redesign of s1 Nya I did for funsies!

I always wished she had a less formal outfit (because lets face it, a qipao isn’t exactly casual) but it was too iconic to just completely remove, so I gave her a jacket! I also added some subtle hints to her being a mechanic/Samurai X; her toolbelt, goggles and the oil smudge on her cheek!

Not much else I would really change about her character in s1 (except her … questionable writing but that’s a talk for another day..,,!)

Isn't it fun how everyone saw what terrified them most, but Nya's was so "unbelievable" that she broke out instantly? She was shown the one thing that was supposed to terrify her, make her spiral. But of course it wasn't real. It's Jay. If there's one thing she never once doubted, its that Jay is absolutely smitten, so of course he'd never forget her. What a silly thing to think, to be afraid of. She went through so damn much for this boy, and him for her, and we know how she is. Wouldn't it be petrifying if all that work, all that emotional turmoil, that clawing for love, could be forgotten just like that? Its quite a feat, really, that she can finally be confident in knowing such a fear is irrational.

It was easy to break free from such a place. It was only ever meant to scare her, and she has nothing to be afraid of. Right?

I don’t want Jay to have an evil arc. I want Jay and Sora to meet each other in a Fortnite server and Sora to have no idea she’s talking to the lightning ninja but they become online friends for like ten months and then try to meet up one day and Sora brings Arin with her and Arin looks at Jay like “huh. You look kind of like the blue ninja.” And Sora brushes him off with “it could never be him. ZippyZap3008 works a boring office job and you said the blue ninja would NEVER work an office job. Plus he can only control lightning in Fortnite.” And Jay responds with “yeah who would willingly work for this company? It’s so lame.”

And then they all go home and never realize that Jay is the blue ninja whom everyone has been looking for like seven years.

One day maybe while FaceTiming each other Nya walks in and sees Soras screen and has a heart attack and Soras just looking at her like “girl what you crying for he’s not THAT ugly.”
