hc that lloyd tried to do the 'super-glue,' pickle-jar prank on kai. kai couldn't open it and got v mad and almost smashed it on the ground, until cole was just like, "kai, just give it too me." and cole popped the lid right off. and that's how kai fell it love with cole.

Okay so I was thinking about ToE and had ideas to add for my Not Today Destiny AU(tl:dr, Kai keeps Lloyd’s Green Ninja status secret from everyone and how canon is affected from there)

Also, before we get into it, because there was no Overlord messing with tech, THERE IS NO LOVE TRIANGLE! I am fully subscribed to the theory that the Overlord messed with it in order to split the team up, and it’s stupid that it worked. So no Love Triangle and no Jay Cole Fight. That’s important later.

ANYWAY, with Zane not dead they’d be a bit less desperate to go to the island, and without that incentive of keeping quiet they’d probably immediately go talk to Wu about this weird invite and the fact that other Elemental Masters existed.

Wu would fill them in, explain how Chen was definitely up to something, which has them all go in the first place, and Nya and Wu agree to stay behind to watch Lloyd and defend against Garmadon.

How does this exactly tie into this AU? Well, there were two extra letters sent, one to Kai and Lloyd respectively.

Lloyd’s letter explained how he was also being invited, and if he won he would be awarded some info about his mom. Lloyd knows the ninja would never let him go, so he opts to sneak there and then explain. Better to ask apologies than permission. But don’t worry, he left a note for Nya and Wu

Meanwhile, Kai’s explains how they have found knowledge of who the Green Ninja is, and if he wins he’ll get that info and can do whatever he wants with it.

These two are connected and also important later.

They go to the boat, Nya gets them some hidden trackers to be safe, Kai is secretly freaking out since “How the heck does Chen know???” and then Lloyd sneaks on too. Now, at first everyone just thinks Lloyd is just really short and keeps to himself. It’s not until they land and get to the main room that it finally clicks to Kai that it’s Lloyd when Chen points him out as the Master of Energy.

He of course, is very not happy that Lloyd is here and makes that very well known. The other ninja are equally unhappy while the rest of the EM’s are given a slight Moral Dilemma since yes they want to win, but that means there’s a chance of them fighting a literal child(it’s been….almost a year since they first met Lloyd so he’s about 10 right now).

Lloyd’s room is next to Kai’s, just on the other side so he still shares a balcony space with Skylor. Maybe one of the other EM’s finds Lloyd desperately looking for a Jade Blade and “accidentally” drops it so he can pass.

Later when Karlof is dropped through the floor more than a few cast a glance over to Lloyd, each silently dreading who will have to go against him. Nobody comments when Kai holds Lloyd close and if anyone saw Lloyd sneaking into Kai’s room that night, they didn’t say anything.

It’s that night when Lloyd explains why he came, which makes Kai panic even more. On one hand, he cannot let anyone else find out about Lloyd’s Destiny. But on the other….Lloyd could finally get answers for what happened to his mom unlike Kai who has no idea what happened to his parents

So yeah. Not a fun time.

But it only gets worse from there.

You see, at first each of the ninja let out a silent sigh of relief when they learned they wouldn’t have to fight Lloyd.

Wellllllllll since there’s no Love Triangle and no fighting between Cole and Jay, Chen has no reason to pit them against each other to further split up the ninja.

What he does instead? Changes things so instead it’s Kai vs Lloyd

Now, it’s plainly obvious to everyone that those two are very close, so they’re not looking froward to this next fight at all. Camille honestly isn’t sure if this is better or worse than if she had to go against him

At first, their fight is mostly a verbal one, trying to get the other to take the Jade Blade, with only the occasionally very wide shot to try and herd the other toward the Blade. At some point Kai ends up physically picking up Lloyd and trying to carry him over to the Jade Blade, yelling about how Lloyd has a chance to find his mom and he shouldn’t that up, but Lloyd is fighting him and immediately yells back that he doesn’t want to find her at the cost of his Big Brother and god if that isn’t a knife in the heart of the other EMs.

But Chen, being the bastard he is, decides this is boring because it’s going no where and release the bikes like canon, and then these two fight like a well oiled machine. 

But ofc, we can’t have nice things and the arena starts falling apart.

And Kai….as much as he’s terrified of Lloyd’s Destiny, he even more terrified of loosing Lloyd.

So with a bright smile and a good luck wish, he jumps.

That night when Chen takes away their rooms as punishment, none of them can be mad. They don’t comment either when the remaining ninja drag two of the bunk beds together a curl up around Lloyd. Instead of splitting them apart, it only lets them know that Chen is not their friend. He sees all of this as a game, going as far as to lure a child here with promises of finding his mother and making him fight the family he has left. 

This actually makes their Elemental Alliance work out better this time.

(Also this time Jay fought Ash, then Cole fought Camille(I’m also 99% sure the skating thing was just another attempt to split them up, so again it’s kinda useless here).

Meanwhile Kai does not have a fun time. Clouse is upset since 1) the plan was for Lloyd to be the one to loose, either by Kai winning or making Lloyd fall, since because he’s the green ninja he’s bound to be powerful and 2) because Skylor got attached to this stranger and Chen ordered him to make Kai useful to them. So now he’s trying to keep a very annoying, very loud prisoner while waiting from the Master of Mind to be captured so he can use those powers to make Kai more docile.

Unfortunately, a side affect of Kai being as loud and obnoxious as possible means he spends a lot of his time knocked out, so he has no idea how long he’s been stuck under or if any of his family are stuck under here too. At the very least he shares a wall with Karlof who tries his best to fill him in(when he learns who Kai was made to fight he also gets pretty pissed).

Later when they’re all dropped from the plane, all of them are quick to make sure Lloyd has a parachute. This time the objective is to a “Safe Zone,” but there’s only enough for four of them. However, the Safe Zones are, unsurprisingly, traps and there’s enough for everyone. Once you step in one, it descends, then vengestone cuffs fly out and trap the Master inside.

Skylor ends up finding Lloyd and offers to help him look for one. They end up talking and joking, Lloyd saying how Kai has an enormous crush on her and kept trying to impress her, but Lloyd thought she was good and would like Kai if they didn’t need to fight each other, which accidentally slams her with guilt. 

Some how she ends up slipping, maybe by accidentally revealing how she knows the locations/number of traps and Lloyd realizes she’s the spy which crushes him. He tries to fight her but she just pushed him onto the trap.

Going to the small cult area below, the remaining EMs are brought together. They try their best to keep Lloyd protected but he’s brought to the front anyway. Lloyd asks if they even knew about his mom, to which Chen reminisces about a woman they meet a few years ago who was stealing from them and how they stole some of her things, but they were mostly worthless. They honestly have no idea where she is, which just makes Lloyd mad.

Mad these people tricked him. Mad these people had the audacity to pretend to know his mom. Mad these people made Kai sacrifice himself for him.

However, they weren’t lying About having met Misako. That’s actually how they found out about the whole “Lloyd Being The Green Ninja” thing

But anyway. Chen steals their powers, Skylor is having a moral dilemma, and they start getting ready to Make Trouble in the Noodle Factory

Only this time when they go to steal the staff, they now have to fight Kai.

Only this time for real.

This is the replacement for the Staff Scene. Because of his affect under the Staff Kai…..isn’t really there. Like, he’s just a blank puppet. There’s the tiniest amount of emotion, but his eyes look empty.

At some point the staff goes flying and it turns into a mental tug of war between Clouse commanding Kai and Lloyd and the others trying to get through to him. Lloyd is luckily able to get to Kai enough for him to smash the jewel, releasing the EM powers and the control on him. It gives him the worst headache though.

And from there, canon is mostly the same for a while. The whole time this has been going on Zane has been having dreams/nightmares about an Ice Dragon and finally makes the connection to unlock it. Skylor is still captured, Chen still escapes but now Clouse is still around, Pythor is captured, TIME FOR THE END

This time around, the EMs are able to follow Chen to their base of operations and have the final battle there. They fight, and even though they’re only partially Anacondrai, they’re still hard to fight.

Clouse tries to do the whole “Banish You To the Departed Realm” thing, but accidentally summons the Anacondrai Generals as well, who are very not happy over what these humans are doing.

And yeah. That’s what I got.

I might do more in depth posts for some of the other seasons, not sure. But feel free to ask or submit ideas of your own

During a match between MegaMan and Ridley, MegaMan runs and grabs an Assist Trophy. 

MegaMan: Get ready, you mutated pterodactyl! It’s time for me to summon an ally!

He raises the item in the air, waiting for it to do the usual Assist Trophy thing. 

….

Nothing happens.

RIdley: Doesn’t someone usually come out by now?

MegaMan: Give it a minute…

…Nothing happens. Again.

MegaMan: ,,,, (cries)

Ridley, shrugging: Well, when an opportunity arises. (Proceeds to attack Rock)

Later that day, the Hands decided to go the Assist Trophy Apartments to find out why they didn’t come out when they were called.

Crazy Hand: You think something happened?

Master Hand: That’s one possibility. But it’s anyone’s guess on how the connection with the Assist Trophy itself got interrupted. The items were on as requested. 

Both soon arrive and open the door to find the building completely deserted.

Crazy Hand: Huh. You think we got the wrong building?

Master Hand: This is the only building they could be in. Where did they all go?

Crazy Hand, noticing something: Hey! A rectangular thing that contains assorted words joined together in sentences to convey messages!

Master Hand: You mean a letter?

Crazy Hand: No. It’s a bunch of squished up letters and spaces to separate more squished up letters, so it’s definitely what I said.

Master Hand sighs and goes over to the letter, looking it over.

Master Hand: …Hang on a second. If this note is accurate, then the only place they could be is….!

Crazy Hand: Wait, we’re doing music class now? Pick one! A letter or a note?

Elsewhere, in a distant fantasy land, a spotlight casts a shadow upon a silhouette ….

Waluigi, narrating to himself: Wah. I, Waluigi, once wished to join Smash Brothers as a fighter. However, time and time again, I was cast aside. I fell into a deep slump, and looked back at myself. Just, who is Waluigi? What are his dreams and aspirations that set him apart from the rest? And the other Assist Trophies who are not as great as Waluigi but are still decent? How much did they want to get in?

Waluigi: Soon, everything changed when Mii Gunner gave me an invitation. She said here, anyone was welcome, and they could be anything their heart desired. A simple townsperson, a king, or even a hero who goes to save the world….

Waluigi: And that sounded just like the type of thing that I needed. Now, I shall go and save the world…

Waluigi spins and strikes a pose, as the rest of the light comes on as he shows his current Job. 

(Pop Star) Waluigi: And spread the name as the greatest Pop Star who ever lived!

Waluigi (Pop Star) takes center stage!!

It appears the Waluigi has gone to Miitopia in pursuit of an adventure of his own! But he isn’t alone! The other Assist Trophies have come along for the ride with some jobs of their own!

Shovel Knight (Chef): Shovel my food into your mouth! Preferably with an eating utensil!

Shovel Knight (Chef) is serving up some adventure!

Midna (Theif): Hey, that item of yours looks pretty big. Mind if I take it? Don’t worry, I’m not gonna sell it for gold. (She will.)

Midna (Thief) steals the enemies heart!

Starfy (Cleric): As the healer, I control how much HP you have. Do not mess with the white mage!

Starfy (Cleric) will hopefully choose to heal you.

Black Knight (Warrior): …Nothing changed. I still use a sword.

Skull Kid (Mage): I can’t tell if you’re mad or upset.

Black Knight (Warrior) and Skull Kid (Mage) are practically the same!

Callie (Cat): I’m Callie, nya!

Marie (Cat): And I’m Meowie…nya.

Callie and Marie: And we’re gonna make sure you Meow Fresh!

The “Cat” Sisters make a live debut!

Phosphora (Imp): Huh. I wonder if this is what it’s like to be like Midna.

Phosphora (Imp) is realizing things!

Knuckles (Scientist): I’m a sceintist of average intelligence!

Knuckles (Scientist) blew something up!

Ghirahim (Tank): Mmmm, careful now. I know how to aim this cannon of mine~. I might fire by mistake.

((Had a ninjago fan season idea that takes place after s13 and semi centers around Kai ninjago. This seasons theme: Vacation gone wrong! I have segmented it into episodes for convenience. I uh, may or may not dedicate some time to drawing content for this thing, so I apologize in advance. ((also it is. a long post.

Episode 1 - Answering machine going off and its’ Ronins voice over the machine: 'Looks like I’m gonna run late.. ugh this whole thing is falling apart isn't it. But we'll make it work. I got you a ferry to take you there, one of the cruise ships. It was the least I could do for now... I'll meet you there, I promise.'     >Cuts to Dareth on the boat, taking him and the rest of the people to ‘Aves Isle’.    >While everyone is getting off, Dareth helps a naga lady with carrying some of her stuff because Dareth ninjago.    >Naga ladys' name is 'Olive', she is a semi native. She starts talking about the islands' history. 'there used to be a temple but we don't know what happened to it, but it sunk into the ground.    >two investigate the area because Dareth has time to wait on Ronin.    >Upon finding whats’ left of the area and entering, the atmosphere changes and inflicts a weird curse or whatever.    >Dareth starts getting progressively more pushy Episode 2 - After s13 Wu wants to do more adventures so the bounty is just flying wherever the wind takes it I guess w/e {{Also realized I didn’t write much for Wu this entire rest of the story so I am assuming he’s having a grand ol’ time being on vacation}}    >wow it is night time, the bounty is flying in    >The crew ask where they are and Zane starts to go on his normal informative spiel before getting cut off.    >Oh there’s a thing on the radar. What the heck is that thing flying towards us OH GOD THAT’S A BIG ANGRY DRAGON    >Bounty has two smaller 'runner' boats? I guess? marketing. Two of the ninja hop on those and fly off.    >Zane and Jay distract the dragon so the bounty can safely land but it turns out there are two dragons and Jay gets taken down first. Yay soft landing.    >Bounty makes it safely over the fences that are on the island    >Zane gets taken out.    >Cuts back to Dareth and Olive still rooting around. activates something and wow a lava fountain. the ground is glowing in weird markings!    >Dareth snaps at Olive and she wells up and runs away and Dareth snaps out of it temporarily like 'oh crud why did I do that I didn't mean to be so bossy' and goes after her    >Olive gets overtaken and now: pointy.    >Dareth tries to stop her but she jumps into the portal lava whatever? hole?? not sure.    >He, of course, jumps in after.    >Fire Dareth.    >Random golden-looking platform chained to the bottom of the hole they are in. ominous voice: hey how about you get these locks free and we'll rebuild the temple? nice.    >Temple platform rises    >Zane gets tossed into an area? park? fenced in something or another??    >oh hi Jay    >oh community service sorting trash from recyclables? can do.

Episode 3 - The remaining ninja visit the two who are in 'time out' before deciding to have a look around the island.    >They take a nice walk down the beach Cole reminisces about the time Kai was extremely afraid of water    >Kai frowns as a laugh track is played. Claims he has gotten better at it but screams when Nya splashes him.    >Zane and Jay are done with service and its like 'okay how about we try to get out again?’    >Zane suggests doing it in the broad daylight since the dragons went out at night and may be nocturnal    >they try    >they get taken out again    >another round of community service    >sees another aircraft fall out of the sky    >guard: wow more property damage.    >sundown. lloyd notices that something strange is happening with some of the residents randomly getting more nippy and then not. strange. (Ninja get into an arguments with the locals or whatever)    >Stop by community service area    >Jay is now frustrated    >rest recuperate at where they parked the bounty    >Nya: well nothing is really going on here we can probably leave once the two are done breaking the law     >Ronin shows up to the area and is greeted sourly by Jay ninjago

Episode 4 - The ninja are ready to leave when they notice a weird ominous structure that wasn't there before.    >Crew investigate    >oh its hot. you can go in, Kai ninjago    >kai enters    >oh frick fire dareth    >kai ninjago, walking out and is krispy: there is a problem.    >three get out of service    >ronin asks if the little runner ships are 'truly' important    >hekcin steals their engine or whatever    >regroup at the bouty    >Kai: hey uhh, Dareth is peeved haha, I don't get it though he and I hang out every now and then.    >Ronin, internally: oh god he's really mad I didn't follow plans to a T-    >the ninja exchange awkward glances of guilt    >decide it'd be best to talk to him tomorrow, or try to. Also, more people are randomly getting upsetti, Jay is still frustrated.

Episode 5 - jay still has a bad attitude. lloyd is also starting to get upset. Cole tries to diffuse the situation but it causes the two to point their noses up at each other in silent anger. great.    >Kai enters in the temple again, which is even more built than it was before.   >Dareth being snarky   >kai apologizes and tells him he wasn't aware of it, and that he thought the two were good friends, reminding him of the times they hung out outside of mission things.   >Dareth calms down a bit   >finds a reason to be mad again.   >Ronin shows up   >'ronin?'   >''Told you I'd meet you here, what didn't you believe me? not really much of a vacation. How about we get some fresh air?"   >Dareth approaches   >oh no he's really hot.   >cheek caress with the robotic arm. gae.   >two head out. Room is no longer unbearably hot. good!   >squad enters in. goes into one of the inner chambers   >oh look the towns people overtaken by rage are building. nice.   >oh no jay and lloyd are fighting again.   >grabs attention of workers.   >the ninja get their butts handed to themselves, and lose Jay and lloyd in the process. nice   >cuts to Ronin and Dareth walking on the beach.   >Ronin smooth talking, normal Ronin behvior   >Flames and whatever fade from Dareth and he snaps out of it completely and immediately starts pouring out how he feels bad about being rude to Olive and whatever the bad guy is and what the plans of the temple are.   >Ronin: maybe we should tell the ninja. I don't want us to get involved anymore.

Episode 6 - Ronin informs the ninja of what's up.   >Nya: oh no we gotta stop this !   >Dareth: I want to help.   >Ronin: no we are on vacation we shouldn't have to; leave it up to them.   >Dareth: no I started this, this is my fault, I have to make it up to Olive and everyone <:(   >Ronin: :/   >Zane: we should focus on. not making the locals angry because that seems to draw them towards the temple.   >Ninja proceed to do good deeds, while part of them break off to do research   >learn about the bad guy dunn dun dunn!

episode 7 - Kai ninjago somehow is the one keeping the most level head out of everyone here and things get tense again. is it potentially out of character? Well he's mad that lloyd and jay are overtaken but he's doing a good job at self control.   >cuts to lloyd and Jay   >lloyd: this is dumb! why are we helping!? We're supposed to be stopping this!   >Jay: we're helping because YOU dragged us into this with your plan!   >argue. great   >bad guy laughing or whatever, oh the voice has a physical form that's manifesting from the heat of the temple. 'Good, soon I will be reborn and reclaim the island!'   >Olive inform him that Dareth has broken the spell   >bad guy furious and confused but is also like 'whatever we have a lot more important things to worry about'   >Nya and Zane are stepping on each others' toes.   >ronin and Dareth relay what they learned.   >kai sitting in the bounty looking disheveled   >'Human pinata makes the kids happy'. Horrifying.   >story about how the bad guy was dispersed after 'other beings' landed on the island and taught he locals the importance of peace and not war or whatever. It was probably some Oni and dragons chillin.   >Cole: oh! I mean we have two 'other beings' and those are the dragons, but they seem really angry and territorial   >Kai: maybe they want something and just haven't gotten it? ((Id have to mention one of the festivals known as the 'laughing dragon' festival or whatever but it's fallen into obscurity due to the dragons not being happy. Mention that sometime during episode 3))   >investigation time part 3.   >learn that there's a fruit that the dragons like, but the recipee was lost on how to make the disk for them   >well gang, time to get cooking! thank goodness Zane is on our-   >just kidding Zane and Nya are gone now because they got too angry at each other and went to 'get space' but they're probably at the temple now.

Episode 8 - Gotta do the cookin by the book!   >the ingredients are gathered.   >Dareth insists that they used a very speicific brand of exctact.   >Cole has no idea how to cook well   >Kai starts putting things together.   >Cole: when did you learn to cook?   >Kai: Well I had to take care of my sister buutt.. I dunno I think being the master of fire, cooking comes easy. ;)   >Cole: if there's any way I can help just let me know.   >kai: oh, yeah, bust open those things.   >Cole literally smashes open the fruit sending bits everywhere   >good ol happy comedic moment.   >first try   >Cole: . looks. uh. strange.   >Ronin: I am afraid to taste it.   >Dareth: oh I'm sure it can’t be- -face scrunch-   >Kai: <:)   >Dareth: well... episode 9 - after the 5th attempt it's much more palatable so they make a larger batch and stick it in a boat all fancied up and now have to deliver it   >oh god angry people   >why are they looking at us hhh   >fite   >Kai: we legit cannot let any of this spill otherwise I'm going to scream.   >only way to get it away from the people is to go by ocean   >Ronin: we'll do what we can but you gotta do this kai. You're tough.   >kai: ahaha I still don't like water but!   >boat on water   >gets to the part outside of the gate   >oddly silent.   >kai proceeds to put it on the beach and starts calling out for the dragons and starts making noise or whatever. "im gonna kick your sand! haha! what are you going to do about it??'   >Dragons emerge, ready to fight   >sees the offering. Kai: it's okay it's okay, this is for you.   >backs away from the boat   >lets the dragons have it.   >the smaller one is curious about him and approaches him after   >good ol’ kai dragon interaction. yay confidence!

Episode 10 - wow I sure do hate this sorting plant by now, thinks Ronin ninjago.   >tossed in the sorting plant Cole: this isn't too bad. Dareth: yeah I thought we were going to be burned by the stake, haha! Ronin: oh you'll hate it soon enough.   >Dareth and cole exchange glances. Cole: oh I know, how about we do a song, get a beat going? I'm sure kai has things under control! Dareth: good idea! Keep the spirits high, huh?   >Olive informs that the offering made it out into the ocean   >bad guy says 'no fear the ocean probably will swallow it', both unaware that kai was on the boat.   >temple is nearing completion.   >the angry ninja attempt yet again, to try to make a plan to stop him.   >everyone has a different idea   >they don't work together and go do their own plans.   >lloyd tries to go after him directly   >jay attempts to use his powers to get the workers to stop and go after him   >nya yells at jay   >Zane attempts to take out Olive, with mild success, kicks her out of the temple.   >olive decides to visit in on the captives   >glares at Dareth   >Dareth proceeds to apologize profusely   >Olive is stunned and snaps out of it, sorta. moment of clarity   >apologizes for stopping their plan about the dragons. gives more detail about the situation inside the temple before getting ready to head back.   >ronin. heckin. kidnaps her w/e He wants answers, and also doesn't want her relaying the information she gathered back to the bad guy. Dareth: oh my GOD did you KILL her?? Ronin: :B no messengers.

Episode 11 - The dragons fly overhead and do their little dance and show and yaay, the people are happy!   >people working on the temple stop and notice in awe and decide to go outside to have a look.   >bad guy takes notice and a n g r y, number of the workers stop and go enjoy the show. Some even going to their work areas and getting snacks and things like a festival. Bad guy: where is my messenger?! How did this happen?! steppin out. that's it, I'll deal with this personally.   >bad guy stands on his temple top whatever. Starts blasting fire balls.   >kai ninjago shooting fireballs back to deflect Locals: wow firework show!   >even more stop their progress.   >lloyd notices   >the rest of the ninja notice. lloyd: woah kai ninjago..! Nya: I don't know how long he can last doing that.. Zane: the power comes from the temple.. Cole Headcanons Part Two!

(Sorry this is long, I tried doing the read more on my phone but it didn’t work I’m screeching ahh!!)

Let’s start with some depressing then end in happy!

Sad:

During the beginning of Sons of Garmadon when Lloyd didn’t know Harumi was evil and they were being all flirty, Cole was the only single one on the ship (Zane still had Pixal even though she wasn’t there. That wording is weird but makes sense in my head) and eventually it got to the point of just craving validation and affection and being heard and seen since he was always the wheel and sometimes no one paid him any attention because of significant others, that he went out in search for something to make him feel valuable and long story short he met a random guy at Laffy’s (before he knew it was an SoG place) and they ended up making out in the back and it was really bad because the guy was going far too fast for Cole and wanted more and it scared Cole and he didn’t know how to say slow down and every time he tried he was ignored. He barely got out before it got... too intense.

He still hasn’t told anyone about it yet. All he wanted was for someone to notice him, to treat him like he wasn’t a third wheel... he didn’t want that.

Unbeknownst to him it was an SoG member who knew he was a ninja and was trying to make him feel pain

After the events of Day of the Departed, Cole had a few moments where he was mad at the team for forgetting him, even though he knew it wasn’t their fault

At one really low point he reasoned that if it were any other ninja (specifically Lloyd), everyone would have noticed immediately. He felt really bad about that thought for awhile.

You’re invisible when you’re sad

Fading away at random times TO THIS DAY is the scariest thing that’s ever happened to him. It happened at the most random times and he would suddenly lose control and even thought sometimes and the others would sometimes just find him staring into space

There was a good portion of time when he was a ghost when the public hates him. All of the ninja get hate a lot because... the world can be dumb... but when Cole was a ghost, people freaked out. It took a long time for them to realize / accept that he wasn’t becoming evil or anything.

Cole had some bad encounters with some citizens who didn’t trust him. The team got real pissed real fast about them. Cole definitely didn’t leave The Bounty for a while and thought everyone hated him. He had some good talks with Lloyd and Zane about dealing with it because they know best.

Ninjago being like Cole never had any run ins with water as a ghost what ??? Oh no no he definitely had some instances with water that scared him to no end

This boy just. He craves affection so badly sometimes. Like not like he’s desperate for a significant other but. FSM, this boy just needs affection sometimes because he never gets it.

HE IS TOUCHED STARVED

Okay okay. About cake. Cole likes cake. And he likes food, he stress eats. BUT! Ever since that one day when he made a big deal out of cake (which he hadn’t eaten in a decent amount of time), his teammates made some jokes about it, as friends do. Eventually, the public kind of realized this and all of a sudden he wasn’t “the earth ninja” or “the black ninja” or even “the strong ninja” no no, he was “the ninja who liked food”. That’s how the public saw him now, and if that’s what he is, then he has to be that, he thought.

So he felt like he had to eat all the time and so he did. There were some moments when he essentially ate himself sick. At one point, he actually hated cake because of how much he ate it and how often it was out in front of him and he felt like he needed to eat it.

The thought that he had to be the one who ate all of the time and had to be that one guy who was obsessed with food led him to bulimia as well

No one on the team knows about this except for Zane who caught him puking one time and flipped out. That’s the reason he did the whole “my body is a temple” thing in season eight because Zane said if he didn’t stop doing this to himself because he felt like “he had to” then he would tell everyone right then and there.

Don’t get me wrong, Cole always stress ate a little bit and enjoyed cake because he never really was allowed it too much as a kid, but he got pushed too far (unbeknownst to himself and his teammates) and it just ended really bad.

He is very self-conscious about his weight

I know it’s essentially canon that his mom died, but Cole’s parents got divorced. It was very bad and very brutal. His mom left in front of him and didn’t spare him a second glance. Besides... he said that “he just lost someone.'' He never said someone died.

Whether his mom actually died after the divorce or it was the divorce itself, the song “Dead Mom” from Beetlejuice (Musical) became super important to him and he sang it a lot.

He still sang it once he became a ninja. The team could hear him singing or humming it some nights or during training or when he was down.

They never really understood why he was so attached to that song since they didn’t know about his family situation for awhile but they rolled with it and honestly, everyone but Jay could relate in some way

Still has nightmares about his fall (which he does NOT blame Nya for). Like. He doesn’t know how or why he survived. Sometimes he’s scared that the team literally just flew away without him because they didn’t care not because they literally had to because in his nightmares they didn’t care. Needless to say, once the Oni were defeated Cole did get a lot of love because his nightmares weren’t a secret. Being touched by the Oni like he did in his first fall and being in the Oni for twenty four hours+ definitely does that to you.

Now not only does he have a slight fear of water, but he also has a slight fear of the dark.

Kai and Lloyd went out one day after a particularly rough night and they bought a nightlight for him and he literally cried happy tears when they gave it to him because he was so ashamed but they were so supportive

When Kai, Jay, and Zane got captured in Hunted, they saw the Ultra Dragon’s bones... Cole never saw that. They didn’t even think to tell him until after they got back into Ninjago and Cole was talking about how much he missed just dragons and general and he wondered where Rocky / Ultra Dragon was

When he found out he got up and silently walked away. He found a tree that hasn’t been smashed in the destruction of the city and stayed in there. The others found him asleep in the refuge of the tree there later that night. Kai, Jay, and Zane felt terrible.

He doesn’t really like Valentine’s Day because he’s always alone on that holiday. Like all of his friends leave him, and he knows they’re not leaving him, they’re just going on dates… he’s happy that Lloyd is with him every time… except the one Valentine’s Day with Harumi. He’s usually content it’s just that he always feels isolated on Valentine’s Day.

Happy:

Cole relates to Rapunzel a lot. Also she’s his favorite Disney Princess don’t @ me

Sometimes the team will be like “Cole! Let down your hair!” because Cole’s got the longest hair and they know how much he loves that girl

“When Will My Life Begin?” is one of Cole’s all time favorite songs. Ever. He relates. Also it’s pretty. One time he woke up at 7 a.m. just to sing that song. The team was not pleased as it was their day off.

One time as a surprise since Cole was feeling a little down, Kai invited him to go on a boat ride and started playing the music to “I See The Light” and Cole sang as Punzie and Kai sang as Flynn (because Cole tells him they are very much so alike and Cole knows that fire boy can sing he just... doesn’t like singing too much)

Oh and he’s definitely had a small fictional crush on Flynn Rider

Kai and Zane once said that they’ve never seen a Disney movie and Cole died and every Thursday night became Disney movie night

They obviously started with Tangled

But also since he has long hair, this boy sheds a lot. It’s almost as if they had a dog with how much he sheds.

He also definitely wishes they had a dog. Like. A corgi. He wants a corgi.

If I’m being real, the team definitely helped his gay awakening. He knew he was gay before them, but he didn’t come to terms with it until the team

As in he’s had a mini crush on Kai, Jay, and Zane each at one point guys let’s be real

On a happy cake / food note, his favorite kind of cake is marble cake.

He also can and will eat an entire jar of crunchy peanut butter as his only meal for a day

Cole expresses extreme anger and extreme excitement through other languages (as he’s fluent in multiple)

Sometimes if Cole’s slightly frustrated at the team but not like really genuinely mad but he knows his buttons are about to get pushed too much, he starts aggressively signing at them in Ninjago Sign Language but like... since he’s the only fluent one and he’s not really angry, he just signs things like “I like you shoes!” or “if I continue at this rate the only thing I’ll ever date is my MacBook Pro hard-drive!” with an angry look on his face.

Their expressions amuse him.

Jay: *says something he knows will slightly tick Cole off*

Cole: *angrily signs* I want to live on the moon!

Jay: oh frick ! I’m sorry I’m sorry please don’t be mad at me I love you!

Cole likes reading poetry!

Jay actually writes poetry a lot, and he’ll try it out on Cole all the time!

Cole’s best dance is hip-hop... which wasn’t really taught at Marty Oppenheimer’s, but he learned it while he was on his own and it’s his absolute favorite!

Although, he does enjoy tap and ballet occasionally!

You’d think since Cole has big eyebrows he’d be really good at using them (eyebrow raising, wiggling, etc...) but no... no this boy is an awkward mess sometimes. He doesn’t know how to eyebrow. Kai tries teaching him, but it doesn’t work very well…

Cole’s that kind of guy who always finds random bruises on him, but like... bruises that definitely aren’t from training. He just always somehow has bruises from nothing

He’s not ?? super freaking tall ?? I’m sorry I just can’t picture Cole over 5’8 ?? Hot take ?? Unpopular opinion ??

I know a lot of people think he’s super super super tall but... I can’t can’t wrap my head around that, he’s never been a giant to me, or even the tallest person on the team ? I’m sure like no one agrees with that one, but in my head that boyo is... well not short but not y’all either. Like Zane and Kai are definitely taller than him idk about Lloyd and Jay yet though.

Since he grew up dancing and such, he didn’t have much time for tv. So you best bet that when it his turn with kid!Lloyd they watch young children television shows and Cole freaking loves them! He thinks they’re so cute and so funny.

He definitely snort laughs while watching them

Lloyd is so confused because Cole will just start wheezing at something that wasn’t even funny or start tearing up at a moment that wasn’t even that sad but he just goes with it because tv

His favorites are The Backyardigans and Arthur.

No but he watched all of the Disney movies at Marty Oppenheimer’s because they did a dance based on the movie and he was intrigued so he watched the rest of them. That’s how he watched all of them

He’s not the best at video games... like at all. He still plays, and he still tries, but he rarely ever wins

He’s that guy who sticks his tongue out while he writes / thinks / when he concentrates

Cole and Lloyd are really good friends. Like basically best friends.

These boys have been alone on the Bounty together so often that they formed a really solid relationship and they can be very open to each other

Cole’s hair was the longest during Tournament of Elements because after Zane’s death he just stopped caring and he was in the woods but like... then he lost in the tournament and we gotta assume he was in the noodle factory for around a month? Three weeks? Idk how long but when his friends saw him again they made him cut his hair a bit because it was considerably longer

Cole is that person who doesn’t tell people things but then forgets they don’t know it. Partially because he’s a super closed off person but also because he’s just an oblivious sweetie who forgets

Cole: so who’s all interested in seeing Les Miz with me again?

Lloyd: wait what

Kai: when are you seeing Les Miz?

Zane: ... you never once spoke to us about this

Cole: ... oh well my dad knows someone who works on the tour production team and they’ll be in Jamanakai village this week and he’s getting me and anyone else who wants to see it tickets as a late but soon birthday present. Woo, guess I forgot to mention it, huh? *chuckles casually*

Oh and no one knows Cole birthday by the way. It’s a big secret. They’ve tried many times to uncover it but they can never get it out of him

They thought the Les Miz tickets were a clue but they didn’t help because Cole told everyone different things and Lou does the same so they may never know

As in he’s converted Lloyd to a theater kid.

He once “made” Nya and Lloyd sing “Lost” from the Lightning Thief with him. He was Grover, Nya was Annabeth, and Lloyd was Percy. They surprisingly liked it more than they thought they would.

Grover is one of Cole’s dreamroles. He feels like Grover is super relatable and loves his songs! Grover is also his favorite character in the books

I think I mentioned in my original Cole headcanons post that Cole is the BIGGEST Percy Jackson fan. He introduced the team to Percy Jackson, he has the Camp Half-Blood AND Camp Jupiter shirts... he loves this series

He also has a character from Percy Jackson that he associates his team with (ex. Jay as Leo and Lloyd as Jason)

For the first year or so of being on the team, they all thought Cole was worst singer on the team because he was so scared of using his real voice so he sang badly on purpose when he was around people

It wasn’t until Cole was singing in the shower when he was home alone and the team came back while he was still showering did they realize he hAS THE PRETTIEST SMOOTHEST VOICE EVER

he’s grown to being more comfortable with his voice and he sings a lot more now!

Cole kind of listens to all music! He doesn’t specifically prefer one over the other, he just finds making references easiest with theater! He really likes all kind of music!

Jay: why do you have a diary?

Cole: to keep secrets from my computer

One time while they were traveling they saw a tree that was like super bent and Cole made them all stop so he could climb it. They all sat down and took a rest / water break while he climbed, and after about five minutes he was hanging upside down from the very top and scared the team…

Zane: Cole, perhaps it is wise if you get down from there?

Cole: nah I’m fine up here!

Lloyd: a-are you sure?

Cole: yes! I know what I’m doi- woah- WOAH!

Cole: *pretends to fall*

He is always wearing some kind of orange on him, whether it’s a hair tie or bracelet or anklet... he always wears orange since he’s the only ninja who didn’t necessarily get their favorite color as their signature color and he just loves it so much

He and Kai definitely eat onions like apples together... just saying.

One time the team was playing badminton and Cole hit the birdie so hard they never found it ever again.

Not gonna lie, he was VERY proud of himself for that

But uh, his super strength is the reason why whenever they play sports, everyone gets to play before him. He’s learned to just go with it because he has thrown many things they’ve never found again.

Kai: *hits a ball*

Walks barefoot CONSTANTLY. He’ll walk barefoot in the woods, in the city... there are times when he’s almost gone to battle barefoot and one time early on he definitely did

Zane: Cole... where in the world are your shoes?

Cole: *looks down* huh. I guess I left my shoes on the ship. I’ll get some good calluses after this fight!

He really really REALLY hates when people make certain self-degrading jokes.

If anyone makes a joke about killing themselves (someone from the team or even someone at the same restaurant or walking on the same street) Cole will tell them off. He will tell them how loved they are and that they shouldn’t be so negative towards themselves. He hates those jokes. Not that anyone on the team did it often, but after one time of doing it Cole freaked.

Like he loves his friends so much and sees their worth and when they make jokes about hating themselves he just feels so helpless and he just wants to hug them and make them realize how important they are to him

He also refuses to make those jokes. Like he’s gone through a lot too, but he feels like joking about it makes it worse and he just… he let it go for awhile but now he’ll go off if you do it

Lloyd: ugh I hate myself

Cole: nOPE NOPE NOPE I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS LLOYD LOOK AT ME YOU ARE WONDERFUL AND AMAZING AND VERY GOOD OKAY AND I LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU NEVER FORGET THAT *embraces him in a hug*

Lloyd: ... yes Cole, you’re right, I’m sorry. I am very good. Thank you.

but also if anyone ever insults a team member or mentions something Cole will go full mom mode and will “smother” them with love. He’ll let Kai or Nya go after whoever insulted, Cole prefers to be the comforter. And he’s super good at it.

No he’s so good at comforting people it’s great. He’d rather be the comforter than the comforted because he’s always embarrassed when he needs comfort and he knows he’s pretty good at comforting people! It makes him happy to make his friends smile!

Cole wears glasses when he’s not training or in battle !!! (he uses contacts then)

They’re not like the bigger glasses, he has smaller glasses, it’s cute

After he becomes human again, he went through a period of time when he disliked being touched because it was so weird to him after a few years of feeling literally nothing, and the team hated it but respected it, but after a month ish, he finally realized how touch starved he was and he clung to everyone and everyone gladly let him

So uh he’s a big cuddler and can and will just plop down next to anyone and put his head on their shoulder with no context and they will embrace it

Also he loves when people run their fingers through his hair. Like it relaxes him and makes him feel so safe and comfortable?? He appreciates it a lot and if he looks stressed, the team will do that!

Doesn’t like texting or phones and had a flip phone for forever until the team made him buy a regular like apple phone

Communicates through a bunch of emojis. Like just emojis. He doesn’t text much, but when he does, emojis. He’ll just randomly send someone a bunch of emojis and they’ll just ?? Cole sweetie what are you trying to say ??

Cole will occasionally text the team goodnight while they’re in the same room. He usually does it if he’s either in a super good mood or if he seems someone is kind of in a sad mood. They all LOVE it

Cole and Nya like working out together! They’re both super into workouts and cardio and they work well together

Cole likes to look at nothing like he’s looking at a camera like Jim from The Office when someone does dumb things

Jay: look at all those chickens !

Cole: *Jim look*

Cole, Lloyd, and Nya are like a dream team. When they play games they like playing on the same team against Kai, Jay, and Zane. Even if they don’t win, those three work insanely well together like it’s crazy

Cole! And! Zane! Have! Late! Night! Talks!

Even after Cole became human again, they still have late night talks because sleeping is hard~

Jay: buddies !

Cole: bros !

Jay: homies !

Aka they’re just the best of friends and love and appreciate each other so much !

They’re actually learning Dutch together, as Cole likes learning languages and Jay is interested in learning some more!

Cole gets angrily easily too (as most of the team does), but when he gets angry he starts off quiet and doesn’t really talk to anyone, and if someone does or says something to someone else that ticks him off, he just gets up and kind of angrily screams as he walks away.

He’s a sulker if we’re being real here. He’s sulks.

Cole can give the meanest looks accidentally. He has a good glare. If you tick him off, you know. It’s not as impressive as Kai’s glare, but it’s still insanely impressive.

Did I mention he punches things a lot when he’s angry? Definitely punched the wheel of The Bounty once and broke it

He did the walk of shame after that and had to help Jay fix it

Hates hats, like he’d rather let his hair flow. His head feels confined when he’s wearing hats

Much like with orange, he really likes wearing pink?

One time he and Jay went shopping together and he just bought an outfit entirely in pink. Pink shirt, pink shorts, pink socks, even a pink scrunchie like he loves pink

Oh and he and Jay have a day once a month together where they just go out and have fun! They do things like shopping or getting lunch or watching a movie… sometimes they just sit at The Bounty and draw or make anklets, one time they spent a weekend at the junkyard!

He’s the kind of guy who will wear earbuds or headphones without music to be left alone

Cole loves oversized hoodies !!

Also every since March of the Oni, he’s been really really really cold so he wears hoodies and sweat pants more often and he started carrying a blanket or jacket around with him because of it.

Kai notices this and if he sees Cole getting too cold or starting to panic a little, he just wraps an arm around his shoulders or gives him a hug or something because Kai radiates h e a t

Random but he can rap really well.

Doesn’t mind getting dirty, like he’s the master of Earth, he is one with the dirt! He doesn’t just go out and roll in the mud but he’s fine just getting dirty when he’s outside!

Kai: *kicks a soccer ball into the goal*

Cole: touchdown !!

Kai: … that-that was a goal. You should know this

Cole: … I went to dance school… I don’t know sports…

Kai: that is… very true fair point

Will get up in the middle of the night to make popcorn because comfort food and he loves it

Zane woke up the first time he did it because he burnt it and Zane could smell it, so now he and Zane make popcorn together a lot. He actually introduced Zane to popcorn. He’s very proud of himself for that.

He has the best posture.

Sits up very straight since, you know, dance school. It kind of just stuck with him and he doesn’t slouch. He doesn’t mind, he’s always super sore because of his powers and abilities and so he’s fine with not having slouching add to that

oH and he and Jay give each other massages because Cole’s powers make him sore and Jay’s Tourette’s make him sore

He just… he loves his friends so much. I feel like I’ve said this many times, but just… he appreciates his friends more than they’ll ever know. He just loves them so so so so much. They mean the world to him.

Ninjago fantasy au: Chapter 2

Kai was only slightly furious.

Seriously, considering his hothead and impulsive nature, this time the madness felt nearly unperceivable. He didn’t throw any chairs, he didn’t yell at everyone in the building, he didn’t set anything on fire… That was a big success.

He ran downstairs and through the main hall to the blacksmith workshop on the back of the family castle. He angrily walked inside and when the heavy wooden door got closed loudly by the wind, all the workers around became silent. It wasn’t the first time their lord acted like that, and after a few seconds they knew what to do - they continued fulifying their jobs and minding their own buisnesses.

Kai walked quickly towards the fireplace which was a bit separated from the others and threw his hands in front of him. The flames started burning unexpectandly, and the boy suddenly felt like if he let go of a big weight in his chest. He grabbed a metal stick, put it in the hearth and then he leaned on the wall, waiting for it to warm up.

Now, that he let out most of the fury with his power, he could think more clearly about this whole situation. They needed materials to product more weapons for the king’s royal guard, the army and for private customers, but the prices of them were getting incredibely high. Angelia Ferreira, Lady of Metal, was even worse when it came to negotiating than her father - Lord Karlof tried to understand their situation and he only wanted more free weaponary when Kai couldn’t pay him in money, but this sorry excuse of his daughter? She was completly merciless. She stood by her own terms and didn’t even try to be flexible or change the price of materials. She was not only in enough good financial situation to afford letting them to not pay for next few months, she was also aware of the fact that if the Smith family falls, the country will have to look for another main weapons delievers. Then why the hell she couldn’t show a human side for once?

He took the hot stick out of the hearth and carefully laid it on the anvil. He grabbed a big blacksmithing hammer and started forming the metal by smashing it. It took him some time to realise that he gave way too much strenght into this action and, whatever this creation was meant to be, it was now completly destroyed. He sighed deeply and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

“Running away from problems won’t make it easier to solve them, you know?” The voice behind his back made Kai jump. He turned around to see no one other than his sister Nya, still in the formal, blue and red dress from the meeting he finished when he run away from the room. She crossed her arms and looked at him expectandly.

“Listen, sister”, Kai started walking towards the exit leading to the garden. The girl followed him. “I’m sorry to say that, but you’ll never get my problems.”

“Excuse me?” Nya snorted. “I’m with you at every meeting, important or not, I take notes, I try to help…”

“But you are the younger sibling after all!” He threw his arms in the air when they went outside. “Your role is to… get married into a good family, not to rule ours. It’s a way smaller responsibility.”

“You forgot that I don’t plan on doing anything liks that, yeah?” She shook her head. “Listen, I appreciate the fact that you’re trying to help me, but I want to be able to handle my life alone. All those other girls might wanna be damsel in distress types, but it’s just… not for me. If you’d let me move to the capital city, you know, to live for a while in the king’s court, meet new people, find my own way, maybe join the-”

“There is no way I’m going to allow this!” He screamed a bit histerically, stopped and grabbed his sisted by her shoulders. “We talked about this hudred times - I’m not gonna lose any other family member. You’ll become some good man’s wife and you’ll have a calm, safe future. I can promise you that.”

“Have you ever even tried considering my feelings in that matter?” She took a few steps back and looked at him with dissaproval. “Maybe I want something different from the world than just… to stand back and silently watch the show.”

“And maybe, because I’m your older brother and supervisor, you have to accept my decision.” Kai said angrily and already regretted his chose of words. “Sorry Nya, I’m…”

He watched her as she was running back inside.

Nya never stopped believing that some change of events will save her.

Not that her life was really hard - those born in noble families usually had it easier in some aspects. She never starved, felt a freezing cold, passed out from exhausting work… But still, something didn’t ring the bell for her. She was technically a free woman and could’ve done what she wanted. She was smart, rich, quite pretty and well educated. The world was opened to her.

Only if her brother didn’t stand in the way.

Nya sat at the edge of the parapet and rested her cheek on a cold window. They were both way too hot-headed for their own good. She tried to act responsible, but sometimes she just couldn’t stand how much Kai wanted to set her whole life the way he wished it to be. The thought of forced marriage kind of terrified her; if she haven’t met the right person yet, why should she follow anything else than her feelings?

“Something troubles you, kid?” She noticed her cousin Ash stopping by and looking at her with his usual smirk.

“Shut up, I’m only three years younger than you.” Nya mumbled. “And it’s same as usual.”

“Kai talking shit?” He nodded his head slowly.

“Language!” She hissed jokingly.

“Oh come on, nobody cares.” Ash shrugged happily. “Besides, this guy is stressing everyone out, I bet all the servant secretly hate him.”

Nya snorted. Her cousin always found a way to cheer her up even a bit.

“What would you say for a short walk? I have so much to tell you.” He asked.

“Yeah, it’s probably better to do something than just wait for Kai to find me here and start another useless argument.” She smiled widely and grabbed her cousin by the shoulder.

They started wandering around castle’s cold, empty halls. It was shortly before the noon, all servants were probably preparing the feast. Nya heard a loud talk from the room they were passing and she realised that Kai probably came there back to try and discuss the deal with Lady of Metal. It probably didn’t work well; the girl caught herself walking a big faster to avoid a confrontation with a furious brother.

“How are the things in the capital going?” She looked at her cousin expectandly. He just came back from the king’s court and Nya was thirsty for any news outside of her boring home.

“Nothing really unusual, I guess.” Ash sighed. “Wu is still trying to keep everything togheter, Morro is still acting like a piece of shit… Oh, you heard that he’s gonna get married?”

“I already feel pity for the person he chose.” Nya shook her head. “Who is this poor human being?”

“I believe it’s a girl from a smaller noble family… Damn it, I can’t remember her name.” He frowned with frustration. “Anyway, it makes Morro even more confident. I mean, if it’s possible for him to get more prideful. He acts like if he is a king already.”

Nya chuckled. She wished that Kai wasn’t so overprotective that he never let her visit the capital city. She could’ve known more about all those people that she heard gossips and news about.

“How is Tox doing?” Girl asked about their another cousin - Lady of Poison, who recently moved to the royal palace.

“I don’t think she fits with all of them really well,” Ash admitted. “She’s too silent. But she’s already siding with Chamille. I don’t think she should trust her so much after such a short time, but this girl can make a good ally in the future.”

This is how aristocrats saw all of the relationships - friendships, romances, marriages… As an opportunity to gain more power. Nya would never say that out loud, but she hoped that this would change someday. That they would hang out with whoever they wanted to, not regarding political connections.

“I agree. Her family is quite big and has a huge influence on a king. Tox is smart, she will find her way to the top.” She exclaimed instead.

“I just remembered something that might interest you…” Ash smirked. “I talked with Shade before the travel. He told me that they have a new recruit in The Royal Guard.”

“Oh, who?!” Nya suddenly got excited.

“Cora Pevsner. I heard she’s not the best, and her powers are pretty much either useless or a boundary. She’s trying hard though.” Ash told her, and then patted her on the back. “I bet you would do way better than her. Still, Cole can’t complain a lot. Since Karlof left for that mission, a lot of guards resigned permanently or temporary, there are only a few left…”

“You actually think I would have a chance?” Nya didn’t even pay attention to the rest of his talk. She held on to this sentence and desperately wanted to believe that Ash just helped her find a way to break free from this place.

“Never say never.” Ash shrugged. “You have a warrior’s nature, it-”

“Can you teach my how to fight?” Nya blurted out. Ash was so suprised that he stopped walking.

“I mean,” He run his hand through his hair and smiled mischeviously. “It will probably get on Kai’s nerves, right? I think that’s a great idea.”

Movie!Nya x Female Reader Part 6

6 Parts. Wow. Well I hope you enjoyed this. I love it and worked real hard on it, so I’m quite proud of how it has turned out. Now if you’ll excuse me it’s like 1AM so I’m gonna go collapse.

You and Nya were cuddled up in the corner of your cage, you having now dried off due to the heat of the volcano (again, pros and cons). The girl stroked your hair as you lay in her arms, sniffing softly.

"I'm so sorry..." You whispered to her.

"It's okay, ya' didn't know he had cameras."

"I should've known. Of course he has security cameras, why wouldn't he have them?"

"Hey," She spoke softly to you, cupping your cheek and tilting your head to look up at her. "Cut yourself some slack, it's your first day. We all make mistakes."

You sighed and sat up, folding your arms across your chest and looking down at the bumpy rock flooring. You felt your fingers along the pitch black rock, feeling the dents and scuffs. "I couldn't fight off all those generals to stop you from getting captured. In a fit of rage I ignored everything our friends were trying to warn me about and ran off, stealing your mech and then falling into the trap of allowing Garmadon to have an even bigger upper hand. Now he has two ninja instead of just one and it's all my fault." Your voice wavered and cracked as you spoke, so angry with yourself at being so reckless and stupid. "Maybe I'm not cut out to be a Ninja. Wu is probably so mad with me."

You felt your girlfriend crawl up behind you and kiss your cheek. She sat directly behind you, hugging your waist and pulling your body in to press against hers. "You aren't the first person on the team to go mental and risk everything for another teammate." She told you.

"My brother? Man, he's a total hot head. Even to this day I have to hold him back from punching someone at school when they throw something at Lloyd or stick a note on his back. Like, sure, he's super encouraging and a friendly person, but hurt Lloyd or me and WHOO boy are ya' as good as dead." You laughed a little, resting your head back on Nya's shoulder and placing your hands atop hers.

"Cole's risked giving Garmadon this magical sword in return for Jay's safety. Thankfully Garmadon was too distracted to notice Zane firing ice arrows at his mech and basically screwing up all the wiring inside his mech's hand so Jay was released before the guy could crush him. Lloyd managed to catch him."

"I'm sorry, magical sword?" You raised a brow.

"Yeah, this like, sword let you see what your opponents next move was gonna be so you could counter it. It was awesome but after we accidentally broke Zane's arm off, Wu decided we weren't mature enough to be responsible over it and sent it to another realm or something." That made you snort and giggle, shaking your head and closing your eyes.

"See? We're all stupid, don't beat yourself up about it." She joked, gently kissing your cheek again.

"Yeah, Alright, heh. Point made." It went quiet between you as you both just sat and cuddled one another. Despite the situation you both just wanted to make the most of this time you had. Your mind wandered a little and images of the water tank came up again, making you frown at the memories of being unable to breathe. You shifted a little and bit you lip.

"Hey, Nya?" She hummed, telling you that he was listening. "What did you tell Garmadon?"

"When?"

"When I was in that tank. What did he want from you?" She paused and sighed a little. You could feel her nuzzle the back of your neck, gently pecking your skin.

"He wanted me to tell him where this weapon he's looking for is. I couldn't give him an answer because I don't know. That's why he..." She took a deep breath and her grip got tighter. You gently skimmed your thumbs over her knuckles. "I told him Wu had a map to its location and that's all I knew. He didn't believe me at first which is why he flooded the tank quicker. He only stopped when I told him where Wu put the map."

You pulled from Nya's hold and hugged her, reaching your hand up to the bobble in her hair and tugging it loose, letting her black hair fall down past her shoulders. You put the bobble on your wrist and began softly raking your hands through her locks. "It'll be okay Nya. The Ninja are there to protect the bounty."

"Not if they come after you." She replied. Ah. You didn't think of that. You didn't reply back, simply hugging your girlfriend and praying that everything would turn out okay in the end.

Some more time passed. It felt like forever but in reality it was a mere ten minutes. Who knew being a prisoner would be so boring, even when you were with your girlfriend. Since you were sat by the cage bars, you began kicking them with the side of your shoes. Nya chuckled a little.

"Bored?"

"So bored." She smirked.

"I know what we could do to pass the time~" You blushed furiously and glared.

"We are in a bad guys lair with cameras watching us." You rolled your eyes but grinned anyway.

"Let's put a show on for them. Maybe they'll let us go~" you laughed rather loudly and playfully hit Nya's arm. She grinned back and pecked your cheeks with an abundance of kisses.

"Stop being gross! You're just as dirty as Kai." You wrapped your arms around her neck and giggled as she finally stopped kissing your cheeks.

"I'm only messing. You know I'd never force you."

"I know." You smiled.

"I'm sure we'll be out of here soon." The ravenette reassured you. She pressed your foreheads together and stared into your (E/C) hues, holding your face gently in the palm of her hands.

"Can't your powers help us get out of here?" Nya blinked and furrowed her brows with a smirk.

"How? My element is water." You shrugged.

"Ya know, erosion and stuff." It was quiet for about two seconds, Nya's eyes widening and her smirk turning into a huge grin as she burst out laughing. You watched as she couldn't contain her laughs, dragging her fingers through her fringe as she shook her head. "What? Would that not work?"

"I-I mean—" She stopped to laugh a little more. "I guess it would but, it would take many many years. More than our lifetime." You felt embarrassed by your suggestion and blushed considerably.

"So...you're saying it could work?" Your joke made her laugh harder and she kissed you on the lips. It wasn't a small one like usual, rather a long one. You two hadn't gotten much further than pecking before now. You certainly weren't complaining.

"I'm so lucky to have you as my girlfriend." She muttered with a happy and loving smile. You averted your gaze to the floor as you felt flustered under her stare. "Man, If Cole were here he could easily smash through these bars."

"Heh, yeah..." A few seconds passed by with you too sat quietly. Nya sighed dramatically.

"Damn, I really thought that would work. It does in the movies." You giggled along with her.

"If only that's how it worked. We really need to get out of here—"

Suddenly a vent panel smashed down from the ceiling outside your cell and clattered against the floor. You had jumped and hugged Nya as she held you and chuckled. A small rock was thrown and hit the camera just outside your cell, causing that to also snap and fall to the ground. The other ravenette dropped down from the hole with a smirk on his face. "Sup fellow gays."

"Damn it Cole, you couldn't have come down like five seconds earlier when we we literally just talking about you being able to smash us out? The timing would've been amazing."

"Yeah, Cole! Then you could've been all like "someone say my name?" and it would've been awesome." You playfully scowled as he put his hands on his hips, tilting his head.

"I'm sorry, want me to break you two out or not?" You shuffled to the side and the boy nodded, raising his fists and cracking his knuckles before punching the metal. As the boy did that, Nya retrieved her bobble back from you and tied her hair back in its signature ponytail. A few heavy hits and a hole was made in the cell door, enabling you and Nya to crawl out. Cole helped both you and her get out before shaking his fists. "Right, come on, we gotta get that mech."

All three of you left the cell room, taking out each security camera as you went along to prevent detection. You snuck around all of the general's easily enough, managing to get in the elevator and get to the next floor above. You all stood with arms crossed as you rode up.

"Where are the others?" Nya asked Cole.

"Distracting Garmadon. Wu brought the map that you told him about." He explained and you panicked a little.

"But if he gets that weapon, won't we all be screwed?" Cole snorted and shook his head.

"Not when Wu already has the weapon. He's sending him on a wild goose chase." You laughed.

"Awesome. Then, why did you need to sneak us out?"

"You really think Garmadon would let you go even after we give him the map? Anyone else, sure, but you're a part of the Ninja Squad. That's invaluable to him."

"The irritating thing about Garm is he's a one hundred and something year old that acts like a small child, but when it comes to evil he can be so damn good at it." Nya growled and held you closely. "Which is why I'm never letting you get in his hands again."

"Alright, now isn't the time to be smooth Nya." Cole said as the elevator binged and signalled your arrival on the next floor. You all got ready for any battles that might be headed your way. There was the odd general, and as you and Nya took care of those, Cole smashed the cameras in the hall.

You ran along, heading back to that spot where you had originally came in from and squeezing through the spot alongside Nya. Cole didn't follow after you. "I'd better head back to the others before Garmadon realises I didn't ask to go use the bathroom and instead busted you out."

"Wow, what a lame way of getting away." You commented.

"It worked, didn't it!? He's evil smart, not smart smart." The ravenette argued back. "Anyway you two make your way back to the warehouse. We'll catch up with you guys there."

With that he ran off, Nya taking your hand in hers and tugging you along. You both hastily made your way to Nya's mech, thankful to see it was still in tact and hadn't been touched since your arrival. The girl helped you inside, sitting herself down in her chair and getting comfy before you had taken a seat on her lap. She smirked and you knew already what was coming.

"Well, hello gorgeous~"

"You can't do this when we're back at the warehouse? Safe and sound with no worries of being spotted?" You were grinning despite her constant flirting. She rolled her eyes and shut the window/door of the Water Strider, booting up the engine and dropping you both down into the ocean below. She flicked a few buttons and began making her way back to the main land.

"I can't believe you drove this all by yourself." Your girlfriend commented as she set the thing on auto pilot. "Smart and beautiful—"

"I'm sorry," You interrupted her as she clung to you. The girl blinked and stopped speaking, curious as to why you had such a look on your face. "There's auto pilot?"

"Yeah. In case the journey is long, or I gotta rest or something." She pulled you close and kissed your cheek. "But you did a great job getting here by yourself. I'm super proud of you."

You sighed and shut you eyes, groaning and snuggling close to Nya as you tried not to focus on the fact you were yet again stuck in a container only this time with water surrounding the outside. You could have put it on auto pilot this whole time. You felt like such an idiot. She chuckled a little, one arm wrapped around you waist whilst the placed itself on your thigh. You tensed momentarily before relaxing, humming softly as she held you gently. "What an eventful day huh?"

"Yeah," you chuckled tiredly. "Real eventful."

You and your girlfriend were cuddling on the couch when the others arrived back. They all stood and debated whether or not he wake you both up, to which Lloyd responded by getting Zane to fill a bucket with ice, Kai to melt it, got Zane to cool it as much as he could without freezing it, then threw the water on the both of you. You shrieked and fell off the sofa as Nya sat upright in shock.

"Three times?! Are you serious right now?" You angrily growled to the floor. "Nya I don't think water likes me."

She giggled and rolled her eyes, realising the rest of the team were back. They did not look happy. Nya winced and walked over to you to help you off the floor. "Guys go easy on her. We're both okay now, yeah? That's what matters."

"But you might not have been." Kai walked over to the pair of you, looking extremely upset. "That's the point."

Before either you or Nya could argue back, he engulfed the two of you in a big hug and held you close to him. You and Nya looked at each other before wrapping your arms around him. "I thought I'd lost you both, don't scare me like that."

The others came over and joined the group hug, all of you huddled together, you and Nya in the centre. You had never felt more warmth and love from a group of people before. They weren't just your friends anymore. They were practically your family. You couldn't stop the wide smile on your face from spreading.

"You two are soaking." Kai noted as you all pulled away from one another.

"Oh really bro? I wonder why." Nya grabbed her sibling in a headlock, messing up his hair as he screamed and tried to batt her off. He was still laughing though, both of them were.

You glanced over at Lloyd, who was watching the siblings play fight with a grin on his face. It was always funny to watch those two together. Rubbing the back of your neck, you scooted closer to him and tapped his shoulder to gain his attention. "Hey uh....I'm sorry for not listening to you and snapping like I did. That wasn't cool of me."

The blonde blinked and sighed, a smile still on his face as she shook his head and gave you a quick hug. "It's alright. You're back now. And at least your both okay."

Maybe physically. Mentally that water tank was still kind of messing with your head.

"(Y/N)," you heard Wu's voice call you from behind, grabbing both yours and Lloyd's attention. "Can I speak to you?"

The old man didn't seem angry, didn't seem too upset either. But he didn't look overly happy. You glanced at your blonde friend nervously as he motioned for you to go with him. His smile comforted you a bit as you made your way over to Wu. You both walked over to the Bounty to chat privately.

"I'm sorry Master Wu. I really let you down today." You apologised quietly, rubbing your left arm and biting your lip as you looked down at the wooden deck you were stood on.

"How so?" He inquired.

"By running off like that. I put Nya and myself in danger. I could have died today because I didn't listen to the others."

"That is true." He nodded his head, placing a gentle hand on your back. "However, every decision we make is a learning curve. I do not think you realise how much you have grown in the past month since becoming a part of the Ninja Force."

"Grown?" You raised a brow.

"Yes. The old you would have never done something like this. You'd let the fear control you and take over, cause you to panic and freeze. I imagine you were still afraid, but did it stop you?" You watched Wu for a few seconds, fiddling your fingers as you thought to yourself.

"No." You smiled a little. "No it didn't."

"Exactly! I'll admit that running head first into that situation was not the best way to handle it. But you've changed. Changed in a good way." The teacher continued his speech as he lead you to the wooden banisters of the Bounty. "You will make mistakes as you grow. If you didn't, what would be the point in learning anything? So as much as this was a bad call, a very very bad call, it tells me we are heading in the right direction."

You kept your gaze locked into Wu as he spoke to you, feeling rather happy with his words. So, what he was saying was, you were still a part of the team? You really hoped that's what he was saying. Based on the implications of his words that meant he still had a lot he wanted to teach to you. You couldn't wait to learn all of it.

"You should go home. You're mother will be extremely worried about you." Ah, of course! Your mom was gonna kill you. You gave a quick nod to Master Wu.

"Yes, I'll head home right away. Thank you Master." You began running off the ship and quickly stopped by the warehouse to say goodbye to everyone before rushing home. God you were gonna have to think up a really good lie as to why you were back so late at night.

Your mother had tackled you the moment you'd opened the door and revealed yourself. She was sobbing horrifically as she held you in her arms, going on and on about how she thought you were dead. You had rolled your eyes but hugged her back anyway, knowing she probably needed it. You told her that you and Nya had been evacuating the city when you were cornered and captured by a bunch of Garmadon's men. You'd been saved by the Ninja Force and they'd returned you and your girlfriend to safety.

"You got captured?! Oh!" She held you tighter. "My baby girl! You weren't hurt were you?"

"N-No." You lied. You didn't particularly want to relive the memories of drowning in air tight rectangular death box. Besides, she would probably freak out even more if you did tell her. "Nya took care of me."

Your mum pulled away, a suggestive grin on her face. You internally sighed and groaned. "Ooh~ Nya took care of you, ey?"

"Mom, come on—"

"What did Nya do, huh? Did she hold you in her arms and say," She hugged you and began speaking dramatically.

"Do not fear, my love, I shall protect you from all harm that shall come your way! Thine beasts shan't lay their hands on thee! "

"Mom, she's my girlfriend, not a character from a Shakespearian play." You heard your mother laugh before she kissed your forehead and grip your shoulders as she pulled away to look you in the eyes. She had a warm smile on her face.

"I'm happy you've found someone, (Y/N)." She stated. "She seems to bring out the best in you." You smiled back at her before bringing her in for the third hug in the past two minutes.

"I love you mom."

"I love you too." She kissed your hair and rubbed your back. "Come on, lets order a takeout and watch some TV."

After everything that had happened you had spent the next couple of days training as hard as you could. You were determined to make everybody proud. Your team, Master Wu, your girlfriend especially. She liked your enthusiasm a great deal, prepared to train at the dojo with you all day if that's what you wanted to do. You'd spar together all the time and on occasion mid way through a match she'd find an opening and tackle you into a hug, attacking you with kisses and lots of affection. You'd giggle and whine playfully but you didn't mind truthfully. It was quite cute. Kai would tell you to get a room, and Nya would respond by either telling her brother to go away, or by picking you up and carrying you.

"If you need us, we'll be in the closet." You'd laugh audibly and she would carry you away. You would not be seen for at least fifteen minutes.

You were still extremely embarrassed by what you'd done. You had continued to apologise to everyone, despite how many times they told you that it was fine and you needed to stop feeling guilty. They knew when you were thinking about it too, as you pulled a certain face when those thoughts were swimming about in your mind. They'd pinch or flick you, then tell you to stop thinking about it. It usually helped, more so if they distracted you with something.

Chen was still annoying. That did not surprise you that much. You recalled the one time you were stood in the hallway chatting with the guys when Nya had snuck up behind you and spooked you. She put an arm on your waist and pulled you close to her, giving you a quick kiss and making you blush.

"Great, now the dorks are dating each other. What next?" Chen had sneered from across the corridor, making Nya turn and smirk at him.

"Don't be jealous Chen. Just because I'm getting what you no girl will give you." That shut him up quick. You had blushed horribly but also laughed really, really hard.

Remember how I said at the start of the story that moving sucks? Well...granted yeah, it does still suck. But it's great too! You get the chance to meet new people, grow as a person, blah, blah blah, blah blah blah. I think you already know what I'm trying to say here. But look, starting new isn't always bad, yeah? So next time you're given the chance to go somewhere new, don't dismiss it completely. You never know, it might be the greatest decision you ever make.

Why does Best Jeanist like…oh, right. Ookami = wolf and kami = hair…

Onigiri can mean “demon cutter” (samurai implications there with the “cutting”), but Edgeshot’s aesthetic is a ninja…hmm, that doesn’t quite work.

When All for One holds his hand ot to Shigaraki, you can really see All Might-Deku parallels…ooh, dear. Things are really going to get nasty from here on out.

All Might’s real name is Yagi Toshinori (with the “gi” having the kanji for “tree”), so that’s why he likes Yakushima cedar. After all, he’s big and protective like an ol’ tree, ain’t he?

Is it possible for Deku and co. to plead self-defence in juvenile court???

I know All Might’s mentor was also called Shimura (Nana Shimura)…it can’t be…I kind of knew it was true, but I can’t believe it, now that I know the context behind it…

Oh! I’ve never seen All Might do one of those moves that restrains a person rather than knocks all the stuffing out of them! This is new!

The moment where Sakuyo and Saki parted was kinda sweet. Sakuyo’s been portrayed as nothing but predatory, so to see her respecting Saki’s boundaries for once is nice.

Well, that was an extremely meta joke about commercials…but it’s still not kidding.

Thos creations of the demon world (including a man in purple underwear…?) were definitely to weird us out…but *deep breath in* gd men has worse. I’m fine. *exhale*

Rokuhoudou 10

It’s like a parody of Omae wa Mada Gunma wo Shiranai’s title…that’s what I keep thinking when I see that episode title (She Doesn’t Know Rokuhoudou Yet).

Sui’s ending his sentences with nya (meow) occasionally, so the cat puns are to accommodate that.

Sui basically did an entire Animorphs transformation right there, from dork to bishonen! Wahaha!

Kanten is kind of like agar, but derived from a different seaweed. Shiratama are a kind of dango, made for Hinamatsuri, hanami and events like that.

Kuromitsu is a kind of syrup.

“Dokidoki” isn’t exactly “nail-biting”, y’know. It’s “heart-pounding”.

Masterchef taught me that a good chef should be able to recreate a dish just by tasting it. I guess the boys of Rokuhoudou don’t believe in that, huh?

Ninjago fantasy au: Chapter 1

This night wouldn’t outstand from the others if six kids didn’t had strange dreams at the same time.

Serious, dark skinned boy dreamt of a woman he remembered from his younger days. He stood next to her, so close that he could touch her if he wanted. He saw her messy hair which she put into a long braid, he saw her muscles streched in waiting, he saw her frowning face as she screamed at the terrified residents of the castle. They all were running through a long tunnel made from dirt, but… from what they wanted to hide? What made them so scared? The woman didn’t looked scared at all, though. She held a massive hammer in her right hand and a round shield in her left hand, and when she made sure everyone were already inside, she moved her arm slightly and earth closed the exit behind her. Boy wanted to yell at her to also run at first, but she couldn’t hear him. Nobody could hear him. He reached out to her, but his hand… came through her body like if he was a ghost! Boy sighed with frustration. How in the world she was going to make it out alive when he wasn’t able to help her?! And then, after he thought this out, he understood that she wanted to give those who were escaping more time. She wished to protect them from… from whatever was putting them in danger. Then, it appeared. Or, more precisively, he appeared. The man all covered in darkness, with red eyes that were burning with hatred. He didn’t even tried to come close to the woman - he just aimed his hand at her and shoot a shining, dark purple substance at her. She hid behind the shield, but… the shield started dissapearing! Boy knew what will happen, but he couldn’t get his eyes of this scene. The man slowly started walking towards her, and then she screamed and attacked. He cracked a cruel smile and when she tried to smash him with her hammer, he just catched it and threw it away. The woman looked around quickly, her posture telling that she’s still ready to attack. When she started concentrating to use her power, man grabbed her arm and took a long sword. While darkness started consuming her body, he stabbed her in a stomach. She fell on her knees, but for a last time, she looked her killer in a face with a stubborness, like if she wanted to say that it won’t be so easy to murder her. The man laughed slightly, turned around and left her. In her last moments, tears started running down her cheeks. They mixed with a blood, that was streaming down at earth. Earth took back what was its. After boy looked at it, he felt so sick that colors before his eyes mixed up, sounds became only one, long scream, earth started shaking, he fell next to woman, wanting to die as her so this whole thing could just stop…

Cole Brookstone woke up quietly. Then, he cried until the next morning, and when maids came to his room, he quickly wiped tears from his face. He had to be as strong as his mother now that she was gone forever.

An overhyped, freckled boy also had a dream about a woman, but this one was quite different. She had wavy, blonde hair, fragile body and eyes filled with tears and determination. It took boy a moment to realise that he was sitting next to her on a big, dark blue dragon, and that storm took over the world around them. Boy nearly screamed and held more tight to dragon’s body, praying that he won’t fall down. He looked at what was in front of them: a house, nearly a castle, bigger than any building he ever saw before. It was built from bright grey rocks and it had many, many bigger and smaller towers… It looked quite peaceful until the moment when something blew the main door out. And more specifically: someone blew the main door out. The woman screamed so desperately that boy automatically felt sorry for her. He wanted to ask her something, but at this moment she landed on road in front of the castle. Her dragon shot a lightning at the person in front of them. The male quickly dodged, turned around and faced them, frowning. He quietly asked something. Boy couldn’t hear it, but woman seemed to understand. She said nothing, only commanded her dragon to attack more. The man took his hands in front of himself and darkness started coming in the direction of woman, who was now flying around him like crazy. At first boy thought that he was going to puke from all this chaotic acrobations, but he started thinking about something else when he noticed a metod in this madness. The woman wanted to make the man come more far from the castle. The man was too closed up in fighting to notice that, and after a while they already were in the nearby woods. The woman wished that he would get lost in them, but in a result she couldn’t see him anymore. He was too dark, he perfectly camuflaged himself between the shadows. And then, his shots finally got to the dragon. It got out its last battle cry and started falling while the darkness covered his body. The woman and boy fell of it as well, and at this moment a deadly power touched her. Boy started yelling: he was too scared of dying, it couldn’t end this way! He focused on a woman. She looked like a shooting star from above, with her gold hair flying around her, with her blue and white clothes on, with her pale skin and eyes, full of sorrow. A lightning striked her and she started burning, somehow even more beautiful than before. Boy felt sick when she finally hit the earth, sure that the same fate will meet him…

Jay Walker woke up with a scream, shaking in a panic. It took his parents a while to convince him that it was just a bad dream and there’s nothing to worry about. After this, he told them that he felt better, but actually he somehow knew this wasn’t just a nightmare.

Raven haired, independent girl had the same dream as her brother, impulsive boy with sparks in his eyes. They dreamed about people they kept inside their blurry memories and who they saw on paintings in their home. They stood side to side, having each others backs: both in armors with red and blue signatures, with swords in their hands, ready to fight anyone that would even try to attack them. A small river was flowing in front of a woman, and she often shot it into her opponents with a trained perfection, while the men fought with a wildfire that was spreading on a few still lasting plants. Siblings found out that they were on a battlefield pretty early. It was easy to notice all the dead and injuried people around, as well as those who still fought. The noise felt impossible to describe - thousand knights yelling in fury, screaming in pain, crying for help… Boy grabbed girl’s hand and tried to cover her eyes, but she refused. They stood togheter and watched man and woman caught up in fightning until the moment when time froze. Everyone stopped, like if someone just clicked a pause on their lives, and two males wearing black, green and red showed up. There was something on their faces that made them look scary - both kids felt chills down a spine when they saw them. Then, when the males got closer to the fighting pair, the world came back to normal. They both lost their balance and nearly fell. This moment was enough for males, who got out long daggers and stabbed their opponents with an identical gesticure; both started bleeding from their stomaches, both identically suprised, but still ready to strike back. The man moved a hand and not only hit one of attackers, but also threw a fire at his face. He screamed, and while his friend got distracted, the woman shot so much water into his mouth that he had a hard time breathing. It looked like they were going down, until the time rewinded. They came back to the moment when the couple got stabbed, and this time, when they tried to attack, males were ready for this. They grabbed them tightly, not wishing for them to let go. Suddenly, everything got faster, and pictures ran before kids eyes, which were already full of tears. When the males were taking the screaming pair with them, water from river had risen high above knights’ heads, then fell on them like a furious rain. It changed into smoke in the moment it touched high flames, which took over the battlefield. The flames became red from blood, water became red from blood, the screams became even more agreesive… Kids closed their eyes and covered their ears, wishing that it would all be over, but they still somehow heard sorrowful voices, whispering “I’m sorry.”

Those words, said by both their mother and father at the same time, ringed in Kai and Nya Smith heads. They quickly got out of their rooms and ran to the corridor, until they found themselves, hugged, and then fell asleep on the floor.

Pale, silent boy dreamed of an old man, all dressed in white. His clothes were covered in blood already and he was laying on a table in a peasant house. It didn’t looked like an ordinary one - it had surgeon tools and meds everywhere. It felt familiar to boy, it reminded him of his own home. He looked through the window and he saw only snow. The whole world was covered in it, wind threw snowflakes everywhere and he could’ve felt the overwhelming cold even when he wasn’t out. Suddenly, boy heard steps and saw two males coming out from the other room. They talked quietly - he couldn’t hear them at any chance, and besides he wanted to stay unseen. He hid himself behind the curtain, and even though he made some noise, they didn’t reacted. They looked fully focused on a wounded man, who was probably their patient, and on a strange item, built from glass, wood and some metal. Boy wasn’t able to see everything, but he noticed that one of the doctors touched laying man’s chest with the metal part, and a bright light exploded. The whole room suddenly became more freezing than before, everything got covered in hoarfrost, boy noticed some snowflakes falling on his skin… And then, the world went black.

Zane Julien didn’t quite understood this dream, but it made impossible for him to close his eyes a whole night and it made him so unfocused the next day that he couldn’t finish even the most simple task.

Grumpy boy’s with shiny green eyes dream was short, but the scene played on repeat in his head. He stood in a darkened room, next to a tall man who was wearing heavy aristocratic clothes and a crown on his head. He looked worried through the balcony window at the city down below. Boy couldn’t notice anything unusual, but man frowned. Then, after a few minutes, doors opened unexpectedly and a shadow flew towards the king. He fell on his knees, coughed out blood and his eyes became fully red. He took out his beautiful, silver dagger, smiled at boy and stabbed him in a heart.

Lloyd Garmadon couldn’t stop to shiver everytime he remembered that.
