Something that does drive me insane is that we now have three Earth-616 Spider-Men. Peter B. Parker from Spiderverse, actual comics 616 Peter, and the MCU claims they’re also Earth-616 (which is stupid and quite literally wrong but whatever). Please guys the whole point of the numbers is so that we can tell universes apart

Another state park trail ride!

As nice as it was, we did find out halfway through that there was a cougar sighting on that trail the day before. Logically, I know they are Around all the time, but it’s something else to know it for real.

We also tragically pulled off the RDR2 crash-into-a-tree thing shockingly well at a fast canter - she tried to pass it off trail, I steered her back onto the trail, my knee collided with the tree. Little bloody, very bruised

y’all ever accidentally stay up doing smth bc you can’t quit doing smth half way through (or in this case stop collecting smth and leaving it at a number that’s not a multiplication of 5) so you tell yourself you’re gonna finish that part but then you forget that you meant to quit so you start smth new which means you can’t quit bc now you’ve got smth unfinished again so you’ll feel extremely dissatisfied and also lowkey physically can’t leave it alone

the knee-jerk reaction some people have to anything vaguely Israeli makes having conversations so difficult

I was talking to someone the other day and mentioned that the IDF claims to have killed around 1,500 Hamas fighters. they said "lol okay so your source is the IDF" and like. yeah? that's kind of how wars work?

all militaries suck and the IDF is no exception, but where do you expect to get those numbers ? casualties in a war are reported by the militaries involved, that's just how it works. and yeah, I trust the IDF about as far as I can throw a Merkava, but every side in a conflict is going to be biased.

what's more, they didn't even try to provide a contradictory number from a third-party i dependant source, just scoffed at the idea of reporting on what has been said. they could be making it up, they could not, but unless you want me to fly to Gaza and count the bodies I don't know what you expect me to do
