No bc Jordan/Marie really got me around the throat because despite all of the subversion that's common to The Boys universe I really expected them to put Marie with Luke or Andre, just going off the teasers and first episode. I'm so used to television going the easy or less subversive route, even just in The Boys do they do this. Annie and Hughie are in my opinion perfectly cute and super functional in terms of driving the plot forward, but outside of that their relationship is very par for the course and expected. But they just unabashedly went there with Jordan and Marie and it smacked me so hard I don't even know what to do what the fuck

Like, the way the seeds were there all the way at the beginning but could have easily been left as subtext. The way there was always respect between the two of them even when Jordan was unkind to her, the way Marie clearly got under Jordan's skin but the manner of which could have been easily ignored. The way this would have certainly made good slash fic a decade ago but no it's canon and it's right here I am UNWELL

Jandy my favorite bnuuy (also you’re so right Jandy and Dr Stone are heavily underrated). Made her a Giant Angora Rabbit because she deserves to be very fluffy

Anyways opinion time!!! Gosh I love Jandy, I really love all of the Chunklings but Jandy is one I find very interesting mainly due to her illness, Candy Coughs. We’re never told what Candy Coughs even does as a disease all we know is that Jandy has it, which sucks because I think Candy Coughs could be a really cool illness to learn about like Growlygus. It’s a shame she hasn’t been focused on in a while, as well as the other Chunklings, but she is very near and dear to my heart (if anyone wants to know my favorite Chunklings it’s Scratch and Pepper, but I love all those sparkle’d creatures)

Sadly I didn’t finish this drawing digitally but I wanted to also put Dr. Stone here, I don’t really have much of an opinion on her right now because we barely know anything about her but I really love her design it’s so cool

In short, I would be a combination of both.

..though, in more analytical terms of what I would do in this situation to come to the conclusion of what silly cat I would be.

One cat is laying on it's back, seemingly confused or relaxed while the other is clawing at the glass to get out.

Now, what I would do in this situation is that— I'd for the first three minutes be confused and wonder 'what in the copbacabana' ..or whatever the name of that cop themed restaurant from 'Tales Of The TMNT' is called.

I dunno, maybe denial would start to set in, as it would be surreal to randomly form into a tiny little kitten. I would be more relaxed if I got turned into the size of a tiny little kitten— well, relaxed on the communication part. At least I would still have my voice and could protest against said pissed off evil witch. Though I can see myself growing non-verbal due to the overwhelming puzzlement that will take a toll on me, so, me talking could be hollow thought as well.

Now, as a cat— unless the witch is an animal whisperer, the advantage of me using my words to verbally rebel against or question the witch as to why I am kitty would be pretty much gone. And then I would grow overwhelmed and just start clawing at the walls.

So, to sum it up:

idk how to tell u this but trans people fighting with and policing each other down to the fucking terminology they choose to use to describe their own experiences is literally just weakening us against the people who want us all dead.

if we could all learn to have a little more perspective and realize that ALL of our oppression, shared or unique, stems from systemic problems engrained in the patriarchal society we live in I think we’d have a much easier time forming a strong trans community where all trans people feel seen and accepted and heard. wouldn’t that be something? a nice change?

let’s all collectively pinky promise to stop running around our little blog cages having an “I’M more oppressed 😣” contest. ALL trans people have more in common than not, and it is important that we acknowledge and connect with every individual and community based on their specific needs while being conscious of how this awful society affects ALL of us.

if you need someone to be mad at, how about turning your eyes forward instead of towards the member of your trans family standing next to you.

strawberry 🍓 <- one of their more popular songs that i would show someone who had never heard of them before blueberry 🫐 <- it may seem like just a little tune, but to me the album would NOT be the same without it melon 🍈 <- she may not be for everybody, but real ones will appreciate these underrated tracks (underratedness was determined by spotify streams not science) kiwi 🥝 <- we're adding a lil something special to this fruit salad. these are songs that are near and dear to me cherry 🍒 <- my personal favorite fruit, so my personal favorite song

sleep token salad:

🍓 The Summoning - it's the song that seems to have really set them on their current trajectory, and it is indeed a fucking BANGER so if i'm trying to get someone into sleep token, this would be my go-to

🫐 DYWTYLM - honestly didn't really like it on my first listen to the album, but on my second go round i could not BELIEVE i ever felt that way. it is so incredibly necessary to the overall album + vessel's journey and i will defend her until my dying breath.

🍈 Drag Me Under & Descending - i really couldn't pick between these two UNDERrated queens get it? get it? i'm so sorry . but there was one morning that i was listening to my sleep token playlist watching the sunrise on my back porch and these songs played back to back and tbh it was a spiritual experience

🥝 Take Me Back to Eden - i actually can't stress enough the personal significance that this song has to me. the line "i don't know what's got its teeth in me / but i'm about to bite back in anger" is in total honesty the thing that motivated me to get the help that i needed during the darkest time in my life. i can't talk about it or i WILL cry

🍒 Aqua Regia & Telomeres - it's my fruit salad so i get to have extra cherries since they're my favorite😌 aqua regia is the baddest bitch in town to me and the guitar solo in telomeres is possibly my favorite part in any st song ever.

twenty one pilots salad:

🍓 Fairly Local - i would have chosen car radio because that was my personal introduction to them, but i think fairly local is more representative of where they are now musically. (but if i was to pick a first album i would def be showing them vessel)

🫐 Neon Gravestones - not sure how universal this is, but most tøp fans i know skip this song on trench but i personally have always loved it. the lyrics are phenomenal, and it's a very powerful song.

🍈 Redecorate & March to the Sea - i couldn't choose just one because i think both of these albums as a whole are underrated (listen. i know that scaled and icy wasn't their best but. those are some fucking bops okay?). whenever i need to have a good cry i listen to self-titled and march to the sea has always been my favorite from that album.

🥝 Trees - seeing them perform trees in concert was a canon event for me. my best friend, who i have known since i was 5 (and was not familiar w them at all), said she had never seen me experience emotions like i did when they performed this song. it makes me so happy that they still end shows with this song, i think its a rite of passage.

🍒 Doubt - honestly, i can't even remember why at this point but this has been my favorite twenty one pilots song since blurryface came out, it's my most played song by them FOR SURE.
