one of the best things i have done for my mental health is that i only talk about politics with people who don't have mental illnesses or in particular personality disorders that convince them that yelling at and talking down to people who disagree with you but literally are not even on the "other side" or harming you at all is appropriate because they are the most right and correct person to ever exist and if you disagree with anything they say you're evil and murderous

i feel like i’ve said this before but maybe not on this specific blog, but i genuinely think pro/antiship discourse is dumb as fuck and if you like, genuinely participate in that rather than just. writing/reading what you like and ignoring the stuff that you don’t, you genuinely need to get offline for a bit and go breathe some fresh air. if you can’t get outside then at least open a window
