I love when my cat appreciation post goes semi-viral again and I get like 10+ cat stories and people talkin about how much their cat means to them. It's a beautiful thing to wake up to. Hundreds of people finding joy and love in the friendship they share with a very small predator that lives with them.

I have no idea why I keep insisting on following the Monterey Bay Aquarium, because the ocean gets me so fuckin shaken it's unreal. But here I am, dutifully witnessing bodies of water

My right hand (the one I draw with) has been really messed up for like a month. I'm still drawing stuff but it's in bad shape. I can't really band my thumb in a lot of directions or the entire wrist and hand ache and burn. And I can't angle the hand upward more than a 15-30 degree angle to push or grab at things.

I know what it is, and it's not really something that can be fixed, and it doesn't always hurt. it just hurts a lot when it does hurt, and it's VERY easy to aggravate it once it is feeling okay. It would even be easy to manage if I could remember that I cannot just reach for and grab heavy things or twist it or push on it when it's feeling good. But my brain forgets that it's got a problem when it's not hurting me, and I make mistakes lol... In fact, I made a mistake recently, which is why I'm complaining lol.

Ody, for @poisonghoulart , for the Potluck Secret Satan 2024! I saw the character and I inmediately knew what did I have to draw- And it was a great chance to experiment with a bit of a tarot / art nouveau vibe AND go back to my comfort palette.

Ody is a wonderful Warforged Cleric and (as far as I know) is up to some space travel shenanigans!

There isn't such a thing as too many outfits for a character, and Siegmund (my earth genasi/tiefling wizard/artificer) is really fun to dress up. So here's a techwear outfit ft. my enemy, green. I can do green, I swear--

Protip for people who like machines and hate warranty limitations? Always, and I mean always ask for shipping label, and if they say yes, ask for a box to be delivered to you too. "But Kirsten, the warranty says shipping to the facility is my responsibility!" But have you considered: if you're nice and say please and thank you, they just give you free shipping labels 99% of the time.

I have literally never had to pay to have a machine or part shipped to the OEMs EVER, and all the warranties say that its my responsibility. Hell, if you ask nicely, the worst they can and will do is say "sorry, no dice" and you're no worse off!

Amber isle newbies beware, the first quest chain where Adi asks you to make two items after visiting the valley for the first time, you have to craft EXACTLY two items and not anything else or you softlock the game sometime in the next 1-2 days where it'll lock when you try to craft things.

You can replace the save with the backup that says CHAPTER 3 on it, it'll be back to the start of that day, but before you're asked to craft anything. This will allow you to follow the instructions precisely and the rest of the game should work fine from there.
