Not my microchip companies, but Its important to double check your pet's microchip manufacturer/registration company regularly. this was my reminder to make sure my pet's information were up to date on their tags and that their companies are still around.

Important! Your pet's RFID chip number might have been disconnected this week.

Is your pet chipped? They should be. Do you know who made the chip?

Pet RFID chips are so small that there's really only room on them for a serial number. When your lost pet is brought to a shelter or a vet's office, they can scan the chip, read that number, and then type it into a program that draws from a series of linked databases to find your name and phone number. That's how they find you, and tell you that Silly Lilly von Wigglesbottom has gone wandering, and she's safe and sound, and would you come get her, please?

Texas-based Save This Life, which provided chips to vets and shelters all across the US, has all at once and abruptly gone dark; their database is just gone. Their customers were not given warning and so did not know to change their registration to another company. A lot of animals have basically become anonymous now.

If you don't know what company you've been using, call your vet's office and ask what pet chip number they have on file. If the chip number starts with 991 or 900164, it's probably a Safe This Life chip.

If it turns out yours is one of the affected cases, the chip itself will still be fine! There's no need to add another, or anything like that. You'll just need to transfer the number to another company, and your vet should be able to recommend the one that they like the best.

Pretty sure my cat will lick plastic surfaces exclusively BECAUSE he knows the sound bothers me. Cause if I get up to remove it he excitedly trills and runs off like he's SO thrilled that he distracted me or got me to get up and be annoyed.

Not sure when he started doing it, that and pacing infront of me. Like he knows he will get lots of love and snuggles if he stays still with me or politely asks for play time. It's like some days he is just OVERCOME with "little shit energy" and he HAS to be a little shit or he will die or something.

I did not realize the neighbours upstairs had such a persistent leak issue that it was making my unit HUMID like super humid, I just thought that's how it was in here, and that the leaks were SUPER intermittent and not constant... turns out it was a constant leak... And now that it's FINALLY being addressed my unit is SO DRY that I'm getting nose bleeds every couple of hours, my eyes feel like they are full of dust and sand, and my mouth feels dry and chalky even after drinking several very tall glasses of water. Hell my sinuses are burning from how dry it is in here now. And even sinus lubricant isn't helping.

My bedding feels crisp again, for the first time in several years, but now my skin feels so dry it could flake away. I have become acclimatized to swampy air... And now I probably need a humidifier lol

Saw someone say tiger/leopard camouflage doesn't work on humans cause we have good colour vision or whatever... Like honey, in PvP games I literally always pick some garish animal print because if I lay down in grass while stripey, people will literally step on me and I will tear their legs out from under them. Like a scary trap door spider that can use logic.

Nature made those animals look like that so they could hunt us and our ancestors. It absolutely does work on us. Lol

My official goodbye to Yxala (my tiefling/drow paladin/warlock), now that her campaign ended after three years! I wanted to do a drawing featuring her new look (she's got crystal and bismuth veins on her now~). It is also filled with the little symbols and reminiscences to her loved ones and other campaign stuff (Can you spot all the little references?

Drew the grave meme but made it my friend Maud. i went to fix an issue though and found out that an auto action i used to toss some noise on the image and make it subtle... may have also included a "MERGE EVERYTHING" state... which i did not notice until it was too late... i am mortified and exhausted.
