Improving Focus and Concentration
Sleep is most important
40Hz Binaural Beats or white/pink/brown noise to get started with focus
Cycle of focus: 90min. of focus then 10-30min. resting of focus
Phones are eating our resting times and therefore out focus
Focus needs warm-up
Flickering focus is normal, accept it
Tyrosine improve adrenaline for focus (seeds and nuts)
Keto (high fat, low carbs diet) might add focus
High Glucose with better focus but might be sleepy (not to much sleep)
Low Glucose fasting state high focus
Caffeine can be useful for focus ~100ml to 200ml of caffein after 90min. after sleep yerba mate (NOT smoked)
Stress helps focusing
Cold exposure induces stress, adrenaline and focus
Meditation set timer for >13min. sit or lay down and focus on breathing an inch inside your forehead, refocus back on your breath: improve focus in 8 weeks
Terrible Sleep? NSDR Non Sleep Deep Rest - Yoga Nidra laying down for 10-60min listening to a audio script up to 2 times a day. It might also help to sleep better.
Hypnosis for neuroplasticity (focus and relaxation) recommendation of the Riveri App
Timings: Mediation shouldn't be done in 4 hour window before sleep, NSDR/Yoga Nidra might help with falling back asleep after waking up at night, Hypnosis can be done any time of the day
Visual Based tools:
Cognitive focus follows visual focus -> wearing hoodie might increase focus
Visually Focus on one location up to 30sec. to 15min. with blinking: trains focus and refocusing
Covert focus, eyes are focused on somewhat we are not directly gazing at it
30sec. to 3min. Visually or Covert focus as warm-up for mental or physical work use this also to refocus while learning/working/etc Foods and Supplement
Omega-3s, 1-3g EPA to improve brain function (fish, avocado, algae, supplements)
Creatine can increase focus as well
Acetylcholine increases learning ability
Foods with Choline or Alpha-GPC 300mg to 600mg if you need a lot of focus (not every day), take it with garlic (600mg)
Amino acid L-tyrosine foods or supplement with apha-gpc to focus
ADHD Drugs increases focus but its dangerous
L-Tyrosine sometimes change against Phenylethylamine
focusing trains focus
The better you are at focusing the more exhausting it gets so less time can be spend doing it
Be dynamic, you can switch them around and use different tools depending of necessity

We All Need More Sleep
The best cure for insomnia is to get a lot of sleep. W.C. Fields Sometimes things in cyberspace seem to magically align. More than once, I have posted something only to find out that several other bloggers wrote about the same topic the same day! It happened again on Sunday, but in a different way. On Sunday Mornings with Twitchy Woman this past Sunday, my guest, yoga instructor Amy Wolfe,…

Thinking of making an actual name for NSR x Spiderverse so you don't have to type all of that out. Was thinking something like NSpidR or something. You know, like NSR and Spider, just without the E. Maybe just NSpideR. Could be like NSRverse (though it doesn't really encapsulate Spider from Spiderverse).
Was thinking of NSdR, but that's actually something. It's like sleep related but I also saw NFT stuff in that tag and music videos it looks like. So that won't really work.
Let me know if you like NSpidR or something, maybe you have a better idea! All I know is that I am getting tired of writing NSR and Spiderverse over and over lol.

This is important for people with ADHD to know. Non-sleep deep rest NSDR is even more beneficial.
One of the most life-changing things I ever learned came from Mythbusters, where they tested and proved (with cognitive testing puzzles and reaction time tests) that lying down and resting with the intention to sleep STILL provided significant mental benefits over just staying awake, even if a person couldn’t fall asleep in the amount of time they had.
It helps me to actually sleep to know that just lying down with my eyes closed is still doing me some good, and helps me to not freak out/beat myself up when I stay up later than intended. Any amount of rest is better than no rest!
So if you didn’t know that…now you do

Decoding NSDR: Understanding the Essence of Neuro-Symbolic Dynamic Reasoning
Introduction:
In the realm of artificial intelligence, Neuro-Symbolic Dynamic Reasoning (NSDR) stands out as a cutting-edge approach that combines the strengths of neural networks and symbolic reasoning. This essay delves into the essence of NSDR, unraveling its intricacies and exploring how it redefines the landscape of computational intelligence.
Tumblr media
The Fusion of Neural Networks and Symbolic Reasoning:
At its core, NSDR represents a groundbreaking fusion of neural networks and symbolic reasoning. Neural networks excel at processing vast amounts of data and identifying patterns, while symbolic reasoning allows for the manipulation of abstract concepts and logic. NSDR bridges the gap between these two paradigms, harnessing the strengths of both to create a more robust and versatile system.
Understanding the Neural Component:
The neural component of NSDR involves the use of artificial neural networks (ANNs) to process and learn from data. ANNs, inspired by the human brain's structure, consist of interconnected nodes that transmit information. In NSDR, these networks undergo training to recognize patterns, correlations, and complex relationships within the input data. This neural processing enables NSDR to handle tasks involving large-scale data and intricate patterns.
Unraveling Symbolic Reasoning:
On the other hand, symbolic reasoning involves the manipulation of symbols and abstract concepts through logic. Unlike neural networks, which operate with numerical data, symbolic reasoning deals with symbolic representations of information. NSDR incorporates symbolic reasoning to handle tasks that require understanding and manipulation of abstract concepts, making it well-suited for applications that demand higher-level cognitive functions.
Applications of NSDR:
The versatility of NSDR manifests in its wide array of applications. From natural language understanding and image recognition to decision-making in complex environments, NSDR demonstrates efficacy across diverse domains. Its ability to seamlessly integrate neural and symbolic components allows it to adapt to the specific requirements of different tasks, marking a departure from the limitations of traditional AI approaches.
Challenges and Advancements in NSDR:
While NSDR holds immense promise, it is not without challenges. Integrating neural and symbolic reasoning requires addressing issues such as knowledge representation, reasoning efficiency, and model interpretability. Researchers in the field continue to explore innovative solutions, pushing the boundaries of NSDR's capabilities. Recent advancements in explainable AI and knowledge representation techniques contribute to overcoming these challenges, paving the way for more widespread adoption of NSDR in practical applications.
The Essence of Dynamic Reasoning:
Dynamic reasoning is a key aspect that sets NSDR apart from conventional AI models. The term refers to the system's ability to adapt and evolve its reasoning processes based on changing inputs and contexts. NSDR, equipped with dynamic reasoning capabilities, can handle real-world scenarios where information is not static. This adaptability is particularly valuable in applications like autonomous vehicles, where decision-making must account for dynamic and unpredictable environments.
The Interplay of Learning and Reasoning:
Central to NSDR's effectiveness is the seamless interplay between learning and reasoning. The neural component learns from data, identifying patterns and relationships, while the symbolic reasoning component interprets and manipulates this learned knowledge to derive meaningful conclusions. This synergy mirrors the cognitive processes of human reasoning, providing NSDR with a holistic approach to problem-solving.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, Neuro-Symbolic Dynamic Reasoning represents a paradigm shift in artificial intelligence, harnessing the synergies between neural networks and symbolic reasoning. Its ability to handle diverse tasks, adapt to dynamic environments, and integrate learning and reasoning sets it apart in the evolving landscape of computational intelligence. While challenges persist, ongoing research and advancements continue to refine and expand the capabilities of NSDR. As we navigate the intricate intersection of neural and symbolic realms, the essence of NSDR lies in its potential to unlock new frontiers in AI, offering a more comprehensive and nuanced approach to complex problem-solving.
