After Kirby & co. return home, dejected, Kirby finds an unfamiliar face imprisoned in a burlap sack. It's the Blob Girl! Blob tells Kirby she's been watching him closely after he freed Gooey, and says she'll let him in on two secrets:

One: Gooey and Blob are Dark Matter's youngest servants, created specifically to match Kirby and overpower him two-to-one. The reason they never did, was because Gooey ran off on his own and attacked random people thinking they were Kirby, getting himself kidnapped. Whenever Kirby would free him, Gooey would thank him for his kindness and move on; in his mind, even though he was being rescued by someone named Kirby, it couldn't be the Kirby because he was nice to him. Why would he kill him if he was nice? So in observing Gooey's antics, Blob decided Kirby was worth observing and spied on him. She willingly got herself captured so the two could talk to each other.

Two: Repairing the Rainbow Bridge requires more than just the Rainbow Drops. They are the key elements, but they must be 'bonded' together using small stars. Dark Matter tore the bridge asunder and scattered the stars among the six islands before Dark Castle, and now the powers in charge of the islands guard them.

Kirby is shocked that Gooey was made of Dark Matter the whole time and didn't say anything, but he supposes it never came up in conversation. He is hesitant to trust Blob, but he recognizes that she wouldn't have told him her secrets if she still wanted to work for Dark Matter. It was the truth, and Kirby is sure of what he must do now. He heads back through all the islands, gathering small stars!

I arranged these in rainbow order instead of chronologically cuz i thought it would look nice teehee! also ive been doing this for 80 days. wahoo

i am the great king’s favourite waddle dee. my fur is clean and soft and the most pleasing shade of pastel tangerine with a rich peachy undertone. i have big warm honey-brown eyes that sparkle like pearly cabochons of amber. my wanyas are as sweet as morning birdsong and as clear and gentle as a windchime. i smell like apple blossoms and freshly cut grass. i serve him his morning tea (fine black floralian leaves brewed strong with nruff cream and sugar) and a silver platter of éclairs for breakfast, just as he likes. and he heaves a boisterous laugh and ruffles my fur and tells me i’m doing such a good job.

“You need a mama and papa to do that” says the pink orb that has neither a papa or a mama. Here I’ll be more basic. Void is super mega powerful , so powerful that time doenst go only forward for it , it goes all crazy in every way. When you defeated void with your mega pure heart, it sent all that good energy all across time, some of that energy if not all became you! That goes for any dark matter you defeat, that’s why gooey exists as well!

"I dunno about all of that theological stuffs, that's more Galacta Knight's forte and the stuff about Void is something Hyness would know but how can ya birth yourself? Is it like cloning? I know Susie said somethin' about cloning Waddle Dees, sheeps, and nruffs. You take something called DNA from the clone-ee and use a empty egg cell from another mother, combine those and then a clone of the mother comes out! I think she's even tryin' to clone Meta Knight. Geez, one Meta Knight's enough of a headache but two! That's twice the naggin'!"

Q: 🤍 when did you first realize you were in love with s/i?

A: I tried to deny my growing affection for Aurita, I truly did. But the straw that broke the Nruff's back? That would be the day my mask broke in front of her for the first time. She didn't make fun of me. She didn't infantilise me in any way. Instead, her first course of action was to create a bright flash of light, dazzling our adversaries and buying her time to evacuate me from the battlefield.

At first, I was in two minds about the situation. One part of myself felt a great shame that I was unable to perform at my best for Aurita. But another part proved to outweigh it. The fact that Aurita saw me at my most vulnerable, and it didn't change her perspective of me... As she returned me to the Halberd, severed mask in her feelers, and asked me if I was alright, the truth I had evaded stared me in the face.

I was in love with her.

Q: 🖤 how do the two of you celebrate holidays or birthdays together?

A: Last year, the Halberd's crew and I made Aurita a cake for her birthday. I'll never forget the light in her eyes when we peeled back the cloth and revealed it to her. Ultimately, we decided to share it amongst the crew. It's since become a birthday tradition for her, doubtless because she loves the idea of her colleagues and friends being a part of her most special day.

Q: 💜 what is something you would like to say to s/i right now?

A: "I know things may be difficult for you at the moment, Aurita, but truth is:

"You are a warrior. You have suffered greater pain and torment before and survived. In fact, my love, you are far stronger than you give yourself credit for.

"If, however, you still need another shoulder to bear your burdens... then, on my honour as a Meta-Knight, I'll be here for as long as you need me. We shall face your demons together."

Hey is anyone gonna check on pixie?

Last I heard Luna saw them

"They're doing a bit better, I think." Luna offered from where she sat on the couch. She watched as Gremlin showed them some of the sculptures he'd made, Pixie listening and nodding with interest. The two of them spoke like old friends which was strange from her perspective. After all, she'd known the Dream Demon for a few years and he'd never mentioned them before. Sure, he'd been alive long before her, so it only made sense that he'd have the chance to meet people she wouldn't've known about.

Still, someone like Pixie, she had no idea why they'd never been brought up before. It bothered her more than she wanted to admit. With that thought in mind, Luna hopped off the couch and joined them. "This is an earlier one. It's not really that good, but I was real proud of it at the time, y'know?" Gremlin expressed, gesturing to a wooden sculpture of a Nruff. "It is less detailed than your current pieces, but there's a charm in that style." Pixie replied, walking over to look at it up close on the shelf it had been placed upon.

"Yeah, it's cute! I'm glad you kept it." Luna spoke up, grabbing his attention. "Aww, glad ya think so." Gremlin grinned. "You guys having fun catching up?" She asked, looking between the two. Pixie nodded, eyes still locked on the art. "It's been exciting to learn more about what Gremlin's been up to." They responded, placing a hand on it. "Heh, it's not all that impressive, but thanks, Pix." The Dream Demon chuckled.

"Had Gremlin not started making these the last time you met, then?" The puff asked, the little thing once again nodding. "No, this is a new hobby, relatively speaking. Though the fact that it's only taken him a few years to get this good at it is astounding." Pixie explained. "I mean, when I can spend the time most people would spend sleeping doing this, it doesn't take as long." Gremlin pointed out with a shrug. "It still takes a remarkable amount of discipline to dedicate yourself to something so diligently." They added.

"Or boredom." Gremlin half-joked. Luna chuckled lightly, turning back to Pixie. "Do you have any artistic hobbies? You seem to know a lot about the creative process." She asked. Now it was their turn to laugh. "Hobbies? No, Pixie doesn't have any." They said, surprising the other two. "You, don't?" The puff inquired, confused. "Pixie doesn't do very much, really. Just watches." They explained. "Like, movies? TV shows?" The Dream Demon now piped up.

"Y..." Pixie started, before pausing and finally looking over at them again. The perplexed look on their faces snapped them to attention. "...yes. Both of those. And books. Pixie reads, a lot, that is." They elaborated. "Oh, well, I'd definitely still call that a hobby! Even if you're not actively making something." Luna figured. They seemed to relax a bit. "But you do make stuff, Pixie." Gremlin reminded them, making them tense up again. "That-Pixie does??" His friend echoed.

"Yeah, you write." Gremlin commented nonchalantly, much to their dismay. "Really? That's so cool! Could I ask to read some sometime?" Luna asked. "No." Was Pixie's response, startling all of them. "Th-that is, Pixie's writing... it's private. Apologies." They mumbled. Private things from others, like the two of them. "Oh... Sorry for pushing it, then." The puff apologized. The awkward tension that fell over them likely wouldn't clear up for awhile.
