(ch. 101 spoilers) why i think chuuya let himself get bitten on purpose

My friend (@violetpaperstars​) and I were talking about the whole vampire situation in BSD and then she mentioned it was weird we don't know who Chuuya got bitten by, why we never saw it happen and that Chuuya would let anyone overpower him like that since he's pretty strong. And then I got this idea... what if Chuuya let himself get bitten on purpose to be able to easily infiltrate the prison / the Decay of Angel's?? We saw Mori is still ok, I can easily see him coming up with that kind of plan with Chuuya It would make a lot of sense tbh. And Dazai is in contact with Ango. Does Ango know about this plan? He used to be part of the mafia after all.  He still seems to be in contact with Mori to some degree, so it would make sense how he would know about his plan, if Mori was the one who came up with it. Did he let Dazai know? Tbh Dazai would have figured it out by himself because he's Dazai but Ango still might have told him as additional information. Hence "an angel told me".

At the end of the day, I'm still baffled that Chuuya would have gotten bitten so easily (even Akutagawa had to die first for Bram to infect him, otherwise I don't think Aku never would have let that happen) so him letting himself get bitten on purpose makes so much sense.

Chuuya is on the newly-revealed cover of Volume 23 (which also covers Chapter 101) with his face hidden, as if he himself were hiding something:

Obviously it looks like he is hiding his fangs (to fool us, the readers) but we already saw him appear as a vampire in Chapter 98 (which is in Volume 22), so him being a vampire is no secret to us at this point. Maybe he’s just wiping away some blood after having attacked and bitten someone. However, the fact that his face is entirely hidden is still interesting to me, especially in relation to this theory ...

i don’t love chat noir not being in final fight with his father, but at the same time i do love that this was the first finale where we see ladybug 100% confident in the face of impossible odds. she’s clearly terrified out of her mind but she never stops and doubts whether she can win. and it’s not that she doesn’t still need her team because she does and everyone is behind the scenes helping her, but this is the first finale we’ve seen her without any doubt in her ability to win. it’s the first time she doesn’t need a pep talk from chat noir to keep her going.

but even though she doesn’t need a pep talk and he’s not physically there with her, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still need him. it means that he’s part of her now even when he’s not there. you can feel the boost of confidence after she transforms into bug noire and it’s more than just the added power. it’s that this time she doesn’t have the ring because he abandoned her but instead because he has faith she can and will save them all. she can only do it without him because he believes she can, and through that she can believe in herself. she’s finally able to internalize the things he’s told her every finale. girl didn’t doubt for a second that she could kick gabriel’s ass and reform her team and she didn’t doubt her chat noir would be part of that team. i love how confident and strong she was and how far she’s come.

i guess maybe back in episode 34 we didn't have as much fearne lore as we do now. how could you be so incurious, though? why didn't anyone question why fearne seemed to instantly go to a hellish inverted feywild or what that could mean for her? why are we only now realizing that being killed by otohan was traumatic for her too? like fearne wasn't just traumatized by watching both laudna and orym die and how that probably might've tied into her outburst at ashton when she killed him on accident? how about having to choose between them over and over again in life or death scenarios? and not just them, but being pressured and guilt-tripped into bad scenario after bad scenario over and over again that she's basically told to suck it up for the greater good? and she still keeps a brave happy face through it all? and the fandom rewards her by refusing to talk about her depth and only using her for shipping content or getting angry at her for being "selfish and impulsive" and it drives me fucking insane?

morty v-37 - basically gets used as a human shield and then promptly left for dead by his previous rick(which is why hes got the scar and prosthetics), y-4441 finds him and fixes him up + erases his memories of the whole nearly dying thing. he’s pretty chillaxed and a bit more cynical than an average morty, more “rickish” i guess idk. tends to be skeptical, likes poking holes in rick’s arguments/inventions etc etc but like in a teasing way

rick y-4441 - very peppy, upbeat and emotional. he kind of reeaalllyyy dislikes the cfc and stays away from it as much as possible, especially after finding and unofficially adopting v-37. he’s not as tech savvy as most rick’s, his abilities are more akin to s1 rick’s skill level? as in, he lives off of scraps of materials and creative solutions, less god-like and more “old man in garage who happens to know physics and chemistry”. loves to ramble about basically anything and happily indulges in morty’s hypotheticals/questions whatever. EXCEPT! for why morty doesnt have his fingers he shuts that topic down immediately just does not want to deal with that can of worms at allll

I think there's a more indepth conversation to be had about masculinity and sexual position preference and how they're not mutually exclusive. And sure there is a certain point where characters can be made out to be incredibly OC and it can be irritating to see that adopted as the fanon norm, but at the end of the day its harmless fun, and the guage with which we use to measure masculinity doesn't begin and end with "raised by Batman" or "I'm insecure and must have a rigid gender binary in my media and fandom experience because my worldview deems personal grooming and using soap as effeminate" but I guess we're not there yet.

anyway wally tops because stamina and dick bottoms because flexibility and also because he likes it up the ass, but that's just my opinion
