its been a few days now and i just want to say if you are going to claim yourself to be an anarchist (especially if you put it in any socmed bio for some reason), you have to AT LEAST not police people.

if someone is doing something, or engaging with something, or hell even saying something you have no right to tell them to stop if they aren't harming someone else. if they are in some way harming themselves, you still have no right to police what they do. it doesn't matter if it makes you uncomfortable, or if its not something you would do/say. if you are truly an anarchist then you should believe that all humans deserve autonomy and a right to do what they want to do with their body, time, and words.

this seems really fucking basic to me, but lately i've seen (on twitter and tumblr) lots of people with either "acab" "antifa" or "anarchist" in their bio absolutely policing the shit out of what people do, say, or even like. its odd and a bit tiring. if you can't handle letting people do their own thing, then you simply aren't an anarchist and thats okay. but if you do actually read theory and you do believe anarchism is for you, then please for the love god let go of the cop in your head
