Starburst is grumbling to herself, her tail is lashing irritably, and her EM field is RADIATING an irritable energy. Its talons are making a scratching and scraping from where it sits, and eventually it growls.

"I know I have not been around for as many years as most, but I am not a baby. Even if I'm small- I am still as grown as I can be! I'm not- ughh!"

nobody understands wash/south friendship. anyone not in the know thinks they hate each other, but they don't. sure, they think the other is the single most annoying person in the known universe, but when push comes to shove, they're an okay team so long as they both understand that things are going to become extremely chaotic, they will be screaming at each other non stop, and as the guy who's really, really good at getting out of bad situations where death is almost certain alive, wash (generally) takes point.

#if anyone has read the helljumper comic w dutch and romeo that's sort of how i imagine wash and south on missions #trouble. explosions. crashing. jumping out of/off of things. that sort of deal #rvb #red vs blue #agent washington #agent south dakota #mine #not t/oaru #their banter starts fairly friendly but it very quickly dissolves into insults and screaming #as a rule of thumb if they're screaming at each other and it's barely understandable by anyone else they're fine #it's when they're /not/ screaming that they should start getting a little worried #nobody understands how wash is able to pull off the survival stunts he does but they work so ┐(ﾟ～ﾟ)┌#seriously the freelancers swear they've seen him straight up die multiple times but he just shows back up later relatively okay #maine has long accepted wash's damn near supernatural ability to survive whatever is thrown at him #wash has that main character plot armor /j

my take on the romeo + juliet situation is that this is a huge example of the problems that arise with stunt casting* on broadway. in live theater you cannot guarantee your main cast 100% of the time and if you are not prepared to carry out your production without them, that is a huge problem and failure on behalf of the directors and producers. it shows lack of professionalism and too heavy of reliance on your main cast, which is not fair when they have to take time off for illness or personal reasons and not fair to the underprepared understudy who now have to face of wrath of fans.

*relying on an actor’s name to sell tickets/fill seats

People out here saying Bridge To Terabitha traumatized them as children meanwhile I'm out here having been traumatized by My Girl as a child instead.

#both are traumatizing obviously but like #i dunno at least bridge didnt show the eventual death of one of the main characters #my girl went all in there with showing us thomas going to find the ring for his friend #only to be stunt by bees and they keep going as he tries to wave them away with us last seeing his glasses fall to the floor #and the next scene we have the dad of main girl being told what happened and he has to transfer the news to his daughter #who just breaks the audience when it comes to the funeral and her reaction to thomas in the casket as she breaks down and can only #say where are his glasses he needs them he cant see without them- as shes led out of the funeral #like hey guess we found one of the sources for my fear of bees today! this film #kinda funny looking back tho my parents didnt let me watch certain channels like disney till a certain age #but let me watch films like this and stuff like charmed lmao #actually pretty sure i was allowed to watch true crime as well as i remember a sick day with mom where murderous women was on #...the standards were weird
