You know what I don’t understand? When people try to tell others that the band they listen to isn’t metal, and try to use it as an insult.
I most commonly see it with Ghost and Sleep Token. I can understand Ghost, though. Honestly, I don’t really think it’s a metal band. It’s more like rock, I think. I love Ghost, but it’s not metal. Yet I see so many people, especially on TikTok, running to the comments to argue about whether or not their music metal.
The same goes with Sleep Token, and even though I haven’t listened to a lot of it (I’ve listened to their newest album and a couple other songs), I’m pretty sure it’s metal. Sure, not every song they make is metal, but that’s the case for plenty of other bands as well. I personally don’t see how people don’t class Sleep Token as a metal band.
Anyway, with either of these bands, someone will “insult” them by saying their music “isn’t even metal”, and people will be genuinely offended.
Just because you like a genre, it doesn’t mean you like every single song, or every single artist in said genre. You’re allowed to dislike a band, but your opinion doesn’t change the entire band’s genre.
Also, I honestly don’t think it’s too reasonable that people take offence to it. It’s not part of a specific genre? Well… ok? Does it really have to be?
Just as you can like a genre but dislike songs in it, you could not like a genre (of anything, not even limited to just music) but find an artist, song or album from that genre that you love. Does this mean it isn’t that genre you didn’t like? Of course not! Does it mean that you now suddenly can’t dislike the rest of the genre, and because you like a few songs you like the whole genre? No. No it doesn’t.
You’ll find music you love, and you’ll find music you hate in plenty of genres. You don’t like a certain band? That’s fine. You don’t have to. But that doesn’t make them any less a part of that genre.
Don’t like the fact that a band you hate is classed as metal? Get over it.

Hi mister scramratz
My name is Alejandro and im a 14 year old bisexual transman. Ive been watching your videos on tiktok foorr about a year now? Or atleast several months. I really love and relate to your content alot. I love hearing about your anecdotes and just your experience with this whole trans thing. You make me feel like im not alone and that there is hope even if life is dookie bum fart. I currently live in a VERY red and unaccepting neighborhood and am constantly teased for being an "emo lesbian" if i see someone who used to know me in middle school, god forbid. But i watch your videos alot after school and keep watching because of the relatability, honesty and humor you throw in the mix. Im an artist too and i hope soon, or when i get the experience, i can make comics/videos like you. You rock my guy. Dont let up!
From Ale
Thanks for this, Alejandro! I'll admit I teared up a bit. It's nice hearing how much my art means to others! I've been In a bit of a rut artistically this last month. To know that you and others not only like what i make but keep going back to it, puts my mind at ease. I wish I could post more often, but alas, I must work.
I'm sorry you live in an unaccepting environment. It's hard enough as an adult, I can't imagine how hard it must be as a trans kid. The fact that you are so sure of yourself so young leaves no doubt in my mind that you'll survive, though. If no one else believes in you, at the very least, believe in yourself. It makes life much more bearable. The good thing is, you're not alone! The world is filled with good people around every corner. People who will accept you without debate. People who will love you unconditionally. But you have to find them, and you have to let them know you, and that's the scary part.
Don't wait to make those comics. Do it now! Even if the anatomy is off and the lineart is shitty. The world needs more art, especially from folks like you! The scramratz comics started as doodles from the psych ward.

A totally naked, bare pregnant belly is fantastic and I love looking at one. BUT...
There is so much subtle beauty and eroticism in a pregnant belly that's clothed in specific ways.
A pregnant belly in a top stretched so tight it looks like it'll ride up or even split a seam if you breathed on it too hard, bonus points if this overstretched article is MADE for pregnant bodies...
A pregnant belly that's mostly covered but peeks out the bottom, showing a cheeky sliver of stretchmarked skin under a hem of something meant to cover it completely.
A pregnant belly in something meant to zip or button up but forces the two halves apart, either breaking the zipper, popping the button, or very heavily straining the button but not QUITE popping it.
A pregnant belly in a pregnancy support belt, under a shirt that rides high enough that if the belt wasn't there, a third of it would be hanging out. Belly support belts are super hot, just imagining having a tummy so heavy and DENSE you need extra clothing to walk around with it comfortably, and that very clothing is the only thing stopping your pregnant midriff from being on display.
A pregnant belly covered on the lower half by a high waisted skirt but bare on top. The underbelly and navel are hidden, but that less-strained upper tummy can be seen, almost teasing what the rest of it looks like
Bare tummies are amazing but I do love when they're covered in ways that accentuate their size even further.

It’s late and I’m up making myself feel kinda sad.
Because I thought of this cause like what if a ghost fell in love with someone who was alive?
Like this has probably already been made into a story but like what if a ghost had a crush on someone who wasn’t dead? And like… they couldn’t tell them cause one’s alive and the other’s not.
Maybe they’d try to get their attention by leaving gifts and notes. But then it ends up freaking out the person that the ghost likes and then they’d be like scared when that happens and then the ghost would be sad cause they don’t want them to feel bad but also cause then they won’t know that they actually meant good with the note.
Like spending quite literally a lifetime pining over a living person because they could never actually meet or interact with them until they died as well?
Maybe developing an obsession with this person? It could turn dark. It could turn into them secretly hoping they die so they can finally be with them.
Or not it could just be sad. But either of them work.
The living person might feel paranoid because of the creepy stuff happening, or maybe they feel like they’re being watched or there’s a sort of cold air in the room? But it’s just a sad ghost.
IT’S LATE AND I’M GETTING KINDA EMOTIONAL OVER THIS STUFF OK?! 😭

Gravity Falls is, first and foremost, a story about family. The core of the story is not the supernatural threats or anomalies. It is the bonds between siblings being tested, torn apart, and forged anew.
This is made so clear at the culmination of the series, when the Stan twins prepare to make one final sacrifice to save the world. In another story, their plan may have been just that - a clever plot to destroy Bill. But in Gravity Falls, the show about the importance of sibling bonds, this plan (which was only possible because they came back together again) becomes all the more special because of how exquisitely it mirrors the events that ripped them apart in the first place.
First we have Stan.
Decades ago, Stan paced through rows of science fair exhibits, mind clouded with dread and helpless aggression. He was about to lose his brother. Everything he’d dreamt of was about to fall apart and he lashed out with sheer physical strength and anger (because outside of strength and protection, what else had he ever been able to offer?) He lashed out and broke everything. He lost his family. Because of this moment, he went on to lose everything ever he was.
Now, at the end of everything, Stan is finally able to see straight. Surrounded by chaos and destruction, he exercises self control. Tempered by decades of deceit and restraint, he is able to make his mind cold, clear and empty.
Like his brother, Stan is offered a bright future in that moment, filled with riches and anything he could wish for. But Stan is not his brother. Nor is he the teen who destroyed that machine. No.
This time, when Stan lashes out, it’s not the futile strike of someone afraid of losing everything. Stan punches Bill with all the power of a man who has chosen to sacrifice everything he ever was or would be, in exchange for his family’s safety and happiness.
Once, Stan was controlled by fear. Now, he is able to overcome that and face destruction with grace. He protects his family. He always has.
And because of that, they lose him.
Then we have Ford.
Years ago, Ford looked out to the future with hope, ambition and excitement. As much as he loved his brother, as time went on that love was more and more accompanied by the nagging sense that Stan would only hold him back. The future was so delicate, and so bright. And it belonged to Ford, not Stan. And in a single moment, Stan carelessly wrecked it.
Ford could not emphasize. Not then, and not for years afterwards. Regardless of how much he loved them, Ford always had trouble seeing the world from others’ perspective. He projected his own emotions onto them, or he held himself apart. Ford was so angry with his brother, and he could not emphasize with him, and because of this they grew apart.
Now, Ford looks back on decades of suffering and missed potential. Now, Ford stares down the barrel at his brother, the failure, the one who destroys everything he touches. And he sees himself.
Standing there, quite literally in his brother’s shoes, Ford prepares to destroy his brother’s past, just as Stan once destroyed Ford’s future.
This would never have happened if Ford hadn’t made that deal in the first place. If Ford hadn’t failed.
His hands tremble. Ford, always so singleminded and determined, always pushing forward into the future, hesitates. He has to look away.
Ford pulls the trigger, and loses his brother for the final time.
This could have been the end of the show. It would have been a good ending. It would have made the audience cry. (I know it made me cry.)
But in the quiet and the grief after Stanley Pines was erased, Mabel Pines refused to believe she’d lost her grunkle. In those quiet moments after the apocalypse, Stan’s family rallied around their fiercest member, the one who had given everything to protect them. In those gentle hours, they fought harder than they ever had before. Not with fists and guns, but with all the love and memory they had. He didn’t remember himself, but that was alright. They remembered him.
Dipper, Mabel and Ford loved Stan so much. And that saved him.
Decades later. A second chance. The brothers lost each other a final time. And when they were reunited, they were finally able to live out that childhood dream.
Sailing the world with your brother.
Spending time with your sibling.
Not so childish, after all.
