house, however, doesn't mask very much at all. if he wanted to, he probably could (although i also partially think he couldn't) but he doesn't. he just doesn't give a shit. he doesn't care abt what ppl think and he doesn't rlly care how he affects them either. he says what is on his mind. he is the way he is and he feels no shame for it. social rules r stupid and he doesn't respect them. he doesn't respect any rules.

wilson is primarily sensory avoident. he likes peace and calm. he especially doesn't like visual overstimulation. he likes things to be neat and pristine. when his space is organized, he can function. his environment influences the state of his head.

say for instance, murder is common in fiction, it has been justified, shown as good, etc etc. practically doesn’t get portrayed or seen as bad. yet irl if someone goes out there and kills a random family, ppl aren’t going to go “oh yeah, thats normal” they’re going to be upset and appalled for what that persons done.

same thing with incest and rape, theres been a lot of fanfics over the years that have those two things, yet both are absolutely abhorrent in real life bc they hurt people, and no amount of normalizing it in fiction will normalize it irl.

And we can even get into old examples like with Greek Mythology where rape and the incest were seen as normal(-ish) in the stories, and still, people think that those things are horrible in real life, so fiction didn’t affect reality there. So, why would it change with like, idk, a wincest or willmike fics.

I tend to put Kishiar’s Awakening as my terminus post quem for Keilusa putting decision into action. Hmm considering the raunchy and graphic nature of it, no. My Angel tends to be more careful about overpushing people’s patience(got experience being in the mafia & with Val). He still enjoys pushing buttons and cracking jokes, just more cautious of hitting limits, especially with wanting to stay at a free place away from certain…bugs 🦋. Plus I feel like my Charlie and Vaga wouldn't have allowed it to be viewed or atleast watched up to that point.

With that said, I’m not against the idea of showing a film. But I'd have it be something more artsy, classy erotica, more thematic. Perhaps something involving Val too(to help go into more of their relationship). "Trapped in a web" or “the Butterfly & the Spider:Web of Love” maybe a story about a butterfly falling into a spiders web and getting out of it. Maybe it was for some special award film involving a more artistic approach....it was not only one of Angel's most famous movies but one of the movies Angel actually likes himself and has fond memories of…mostly now just bittersweet.

kafka with calloused hands is so important to me she’s always wearing gloves now but won’t really wear them when she’s playing the violin because it’s much more intimate that way. by the way adding onto the Meat Farm Y/N AU, I’d imagine as the name implies that Y/N owns a Vita Carnis “meat farm” of sorts. They water The Crawl, have a pet Trimming, they have a pet Meat Snake they use to dispose of bodies in their Morgue job (a farm such as this can only pay so much, unfortunately— people still don’t quite like this species, especially considering Mimics and Harvesters— Speaking of)

They feed a mimic that hangs around the morgue dead bodies of serial killers and whatnot, they have a Harvester in their backyard (it feeds on pests in the back yarn like deer and moose, which often is where gardening takes place— Y/N is safe as long as they have their safety equipment, such as thick boots and gloves typically seen on police and whatnot [likely stolen from said police, considering they know about top secret government stuff.])

Watches a monolith far in the distance, not ever moving an inch. Knows about the Singularity, due to hacking government files. Everyone in the town nearby knows a majority of their life (minus the mimic part obviously) revolves around Vita Carnis, so they’re considered very much as a freak who is obsessed over living meat— as such, they’re not treated kindly, especially by townspeople who (admittedly at least somewhat understandably) don’t like the new species roaming earth, but that’s fine! The townspeople might not like Y/N, but they have their meaty friends, and that’s good enough for them. The townspeople wonder how they aren’t dead yet.

Literally goes up to their door and says "pocket sand" while throwing some spore dust in their eyes before running off.
