Victor Von Doom as Skull de Mort
(Another one of those Skull is actually someone else and badass)
Doom for some reason got transported into the khr world be it with his own body or reincarnated , aged down or whatever . Maybe he got reincarnated and got his memory after he awakened his flames
Either case Doom either starts planning how to take over Latveria (or this world equivalent of it) or start finding a way to his world to his Latveria while using being a stuntman as a cover to get more information and seeing how the technology in this world is faring against his own and how strong and knowledgeable magic users are here (he is disappointed by how old and weak both the tech and the magic users(if they even exist here) are)
Then he gets an invitation from Chekerface to the grattering of the world strongest and decided to go because 1 - he is amused that someone FINALLY noticed his presence 2 - he can't figure how someone got in to deliver the letter
He knows that someone got in , he knew when there was someone in his domain(his room) , he just doesn't know how that someone got in . He has put a heavy amount of protections on and in his suit , bike and domain because you never know when an old "acquaintance" may visit
He does however go
In his stage persona
Because he isn't an idiot Richard's
So he goes in and despite his expectations being low he still got underwhelmed by how ... childish they were
The so called "world best hitman" was a idiot with ego bigger that Richard squared on itself with none of Richard's accomplishments who will dismiss anyone he doesn't see as "strong" enough , fully forgetting that in his profession it's not the brawn but the brain and actor skill that is most important , and despite his boosting of being a genius in math he is barely at the level of first year math college student in Latveria
The "Wold Best Martial Artist" while having some skills is still only a big fish in a small pound in comparison to what an actual master of the martial arts is , at least he is of the quieter in comparison to the rest (but if he can't find his tea again they are going to have a long , long and thoughfull conversation of why you don't steal something of Doom's)
"world best sniper" his ass , the woman cannot stay quiet for a quarter of an hour unless she is asleep let alone hours if not days on end for a mission , not to mention how trigger happy she is and how ready she is to start a fight for no reason
Her stalker is only slightly better and that is almost fully because he keeps his distance but even then he is still too loud , seriously how he hasn't died yet because of how atrociously bad he is at hiding Doom doesn't know nor understand , even their untrained civilian camp from before Doom took over Latveria was better at hiding while having to source water , food and shelter for multiple people while simultaneously having to regularly outrun the army . He can hear him over the whole damn forest from how loud he was
The "second coming of Da Vinci" seems to be another fool calling himself a genius when only being slightly smarter than the rest of the populace , his robots are just clunky , slow and unintelegent pieces of metal with only the most basic of AI in them noting like his DoomBots . He also had the galls to make Doom change his seat from the (while ugly neon still better that the rest) green chair to ridiculous neon purple (he might have worn the purple for his stuntman cover , his hair might have changed its color to purple , but everyone from the smallest of ants to the strongest , oldest and biggest of gods knows that green is Doom's color . And Doom will have his revenge no matter what ! Mark Doom's words !)
The cloaked one is Doom's favourite . They don't make unnecessarily loud sounds , don't start fights for no reason , actually use their brain to stay on edge for unpredictable elements , are willing to sell information for the right price and understand the greatness that is cloaks .
Then there is that thing . He hates it the most out of not just this world , he HATES IT the most out of everything he has hated in all of his life . Every time it's even close it feels like it's trying to chain Doom down like some dog on its beck and call and NO ONE AND DOOM REPEATS NO ONE CHAINS DOOM DOWN LIKE A DOG !! He will personally make sure it dies in the most painful way possible after it has told everything Doom wants to know .

You ever think about how the Arcobaleno all have intense cryptic energy?
Like Skull literally can't die. And because he's so loser core (affectionate) he's died in front of people so many times only to get back up like nothing happened.
Reborn....*points the guy with a chameleon that changes into different weapons*. Tbh if you told me he was an alien, I'd believe you.
The Vindice are basically the men in black.
Verde... no one knows if he's an alien, a guy from the future hell bent on giving us better technology to prevent a future catastrophe, or a tired government agent who doesn't get paid enough to babysit his cryptids and therefore doesn't.
Lal, however, is the too tired government agent who does babysit her crypids. Help jer she's suffering and in need of coffee and a break.
Fon *points to Hibari and Alaude* he's clearly a clone. Those are clones! People are being cloned-
Mammon is that shadowy cryptid you can only ever capture blurry pictures for. And then you receive a bill in the mail charging you for said picture. Basically urban legend status. There's a rumor going around if you take a picture of this strange cloaked person you will in fact go bankrupt.
Colonello is that strange inhuman creature that fell in love with the government agent lady who watches him. People assume he's from a super soldier program. Like some kind Marvel bs with Winter Soilder or Captain America or the DC version of that, Deathstroke. He's clearly human but also not.
Luce, Aria, and Yuni are 110% the most normal out of all of them, tho. Definitely not decents of a secret race of non humans that existed pre-humans. Nope, those girls are humans 💚

I'm the kind of person who goes straight to the source to try and straighten things out, just so I can have some peace of mind.
Warning: this is about KHR.
I couldn't remember exactly what was the deal with Luce - Aria - Uni. I was pretty sure Luce was dead, we were never given any indication as to the contrary, but Aria... Aria was different.
To begin where beginnings begin, when I was watching the KHR anime and then reading the manga, I always found it mighty suspicious that the anime got so many details about the Arcobaleno right. I knew for a fact that the anime-only Arcobaleno Trials Arc aired before the Curse of the Rainbow Arc, so how could the anime have details that were yet to be revealed in the manga? That's when I discovered that this anime-only arc was personally supervised by Amano-sensei herself. Long story short: this arc confirms that Aria was still alive in the present.
But then, why is Aria gone during the Curse of the Rainbow Arc? And why does Uni look exactly as she did in the future?
Let's remember once again the ability of the Arcobaleno pacifiers: the Pacifiers exists in moments. The pacifiers exist as points in time and space, thus allowing them to move between times and spaces. Now let's also remember that Luce, Aria and Uni have this particular ability to see the future.
----This is about to get complicated so buckle up!---- Aria saw the future gifted by the Arcobaleno, but she also saw another future: the future in which the curse would be broken (I'll be back with another theory in which the characters are now living in a different timeline than the one with the future we know). Aria thus chose to give that opportunity to her daughter but, Uni would have been a child in the present and not able to participate in the coming battle. But here is the thing, what if Uni no longer existed in the present? What are you talking about, Kei?? Uni disappearing in the future has no impact on the present! But, what if it did? Uni is the Sky Arcobaleno, she gave her life to revive the other Arcobaleno. What if her decision to give her life for the other 5 also meant she would cease to exist through all timelines? Because, again, the Arcobaleno exist as a point in time and space, a moment that comes and goes as the circumstances see fit.
And here is when I come in with my source: Chapter 354! γ 「あんたの娘ユニと共に散った未来の記憶を受け取ったあの日・・・あんたはおしゃぶりを残して消えた…」
Gamma: "On the day I received the memories of the future in which I died together with your daughter, Uni... You left, leaving behind this pacifier."
γ 「その後 この時代に誕生しているはずのユニも探したが・・・未だ消息はつかめない…」
Gamma: "After that, although we searched for Yuni, who should have already been born in this period... To this moment, we haven't found a single trace of her."
Gamma claims that Aria disappeared right on the day they gained their memories from the future, leaving only the pacifier behind. Their subsequent search of Uni yielded no results, even though they were sure she was already born and why is that? Because Uni no longer existed in the present time! Then how does Uni come back, Kei? Aria, and by a miracle we are all very familiar with. Being the Sky Arcobaleno of the time, Aria gave her own life to revive Uni. But why wasn't she revived as a baby? Because Aria revived the Uni she had seen in her vision, someone who would be capable of entering the Representative Battle and break the curse. Uni is the same age as she was in the future because that's who Aria revived in the present time.
That's my rant, have a good day everyone

Uni had been awake in the dark for as long as she could remember. In a viscous, enveloping from all sides, not allowing her to take a step forward.
The only moments when Uni runs towards you, not afraid of anything, are Aria's voice. Tired, gently protective - and still close and dear. And under this voice, the girl runs towards him, trying to curl up under the warm side, trying not to accidentally touch the top of her head to the hot one, as if lying for several hours under the sultry Italian sun.
Uni has never seen the sun or her own mother, but it seems to her that they are the same thing. From the sun, the girl feels a soft warmth on her delicate skin, creeping with her blood through her veins, as well as from her mother's laughter, felt somewhere near her heart.
And she keeps as close as possible, trying not to miss the thin, delicate hand from her own. And with a sinking heart, thinking what will happen to her when this hand stops being so warm?
A little blind girl lives surrounded only by ambient sounds and touches. A sonorous, motherly voice, and gentle touches. The chirping of insects outside the window, living only in their allotted season, flying with a light stream of air. The familiar but distant voices of Aria's subordinates, seizing the moment to give the little lady sweets or soft toys in her hands. The quiet snorting of two Gamma foxes, caressing her palms, leaving wet marks from their noses. The barely perceptible clink of swords in Genkishi's scabbard, and the heavy feeling of steel on her knees.
Oh, how Gamma swore then, noticing such a dangerous weapon in the hands of the little "princess" of the family.
From these memories, Uni smiles easily, going over the sensations of the body over and over again. This is her calmness, her solace in the dark, quiet nights.
Blind Giglio Nero didn't like the dark. And she hated the silence that blurred in the mansion when it was dark. Uni just can't sleep, listening to any rustle, or breathing behind the walls, trying to convince that it's not her.
And that the stone already hanging around her neck doesn't ring at night. That this ringing, disturbing, ancient, does not repeat the melody of the Lullaby carved in her mind since birth.
Before Aria's death, Uni refused to fall asleep alone. When Aria couldn't keep her company, Gamma read her a fairy tale, Genkishi was reliably silent next to her, the clumsy Tozaru fussed with the sleepy Nozaru, or Nigella joked encouragingly.
After the death of her mother, the girl for the first time refused anyone's company - and only sat silently on the cold bed, stroking the stone beating under her fingers. It was like a second heart stolen from her mother by a curse.
Uni opens her eyes, feeling the dryness constricting her blind pupils, and slowly inhales the cool air.
If a butterfly dreams that she is the Arcobaleno of the sky, then who is Yuni?
How many times does she dream that Giglio Nero is cursed again? She doesn't know.
And only closes her eyes again, falling into nightmares.
To wake up again with her heart clenching with resentment and admiration at the same time, realizing how close fear had crept to her throat. Again.
She was left without a mother's hand, which she was ready to trust unconditionally, accepting the family curse from gentle hands as meekly as her own flaw. And she knew with a sense of doom that she was only condemning her Family to a slow decline. The blind, even in the civilian world, became easy targets - for dangers, for other people's barbs.
Uni, who grew up in warmth and safety, was not a stupid child - and she knew perfectly well that she had become only a new burden for the Chosen seven of Trinisette. This made her heart ache - and her head spin more, which only made the girl lose herself more in space, squeezing into a ball on the bed from resentment.
The huge space shining underfoot was replaced more than once or twice - and only the quiet, barely understandable voice of the system (so similar to the voice of the Ray) helped her understand what was happening.
The blue space above is the boundless Sky. Shiny, wet under her bare feet is the eternal Ocean.
Shades of blue merge into one, forcing Uni to recoil, trying to cover his vision with his hands... and nothing works out.
Had her eyesight been taken away just for the sake of visions? And she answers - yes, it was. And the girl closes her eyes, flipping through the flashing pictures in front of her eyes before taking the first step forward.
If Uni's foresight was bought by her helplessness, so be it. And the newly-made Arcobaleno of the Sky gets out of bed, remembering the entire sequence of actions that she managed to see in bright flashes.
Even if she becomes a hostage to her own visions, it will give her only one chance to correct herself. A chance paid for by her future.
And Giglio Nero accepts this deal with a conscience. Anyway, she would never be given another chance.
The chance that Uni will escape death at 15 is zero.
The chance that she will kill Byakuran Jesso before being elected Mare's ring is even less.
But the chance that she will deceive him increases with each passing day. And she will take full advantage of it.
Uni is not sorry that the Mare boy will consider her a broken doll. After all, only this will save her world.
But not her.

A question about your Luce post. I thought the curse started with her? In manga do they say her mom had it too?
hi nonny, thank you for the ask!
that's a fair question, also a fun one because my friends and i tried to answer that exact same question not too long ago haha. so like, you're right that the manga doesn't say anything on the matter. but it also never says anything that denies it, and in fact, going with everything else it says about the arco curse and the sky arco curse specifically, it makes sense to me to have that as a canon-compliant headcanon.
not that the manga says much about either of those things either lol, but we're given this:
[ID copied from alt-text: Panels from the manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Kawahira says, "In order to always keep the flames lit, the pacifiers were made impossible to remove, and the Arcobaleno, human sacrifices for the sake of protecting the pacifiers, were created as well. It was a cruel system, but necessary in order to save the many living organisms on the planet. But, even more of our comrades died and finally only myself and Yuni's ancestor were left... There was no way the 2 of us could completely control the remaining stones. And thus, we borrowed even more of the Earthlings' power and split the remaining stones further, creating the Vongola rings and Mare rings."
In the second panel, Kawahira and Sepira stand next to each other. Sepira wears the Giglio Nero hat and cape, holding onto the necklace around her neck. /End ID]
so upon creating the pacifiers and having to choose the first generation of arco, it seems like sepira was the first sky pacifier bearer. or, well, at the very least, she ends up having to wear it too at some point before she can go on to create the giglio nero family and have descendants. if you zoom in on her necklace you still can't really make out the pacifier lol, but i mean. what else could it be, right? and we can't tell nor were we told if it's the sky pacifier she's wearing, but again, why would it be another one knowing all else that we know?
after sepira, we don't know if it's been consistently passed down in the family until it was luce's turn, but then aria said this:
[ID copied from alt-text: Another panel from the manga. Aria says, "I don't believe it but it's (the pacifier's) been passed on for generations..... It seems my blood is cursed..... My dead mother was the same..." /End ID]
this doesn't leave much room for interpretation. like, i don't think she'd say that if luce was the first giglio nero donna to be the sky arco. and even if we say she was, it makes it a bit too much of a big coincidence to swallow that aria then uni were the next sky arco after her. i mean, back to back to back? and add on top of that sepira was the (first) sky arco and is their ancestor, it becomes clear their blood in particular makes them more suitable to bear the (sky) pacifier.
so maybe the sky pacifier hasn't consistently been passed down in the giglio nero family since sepira. but it's my belief it found its way to the giglio nero donne often enough, and that yeah, it's very unlikely luce was the first one to wear it even if we're never explicitly told otherwise. as to why it's like this, one reason i can think of is that because the pacifiers are the most powerful part of the trinisette, making the sky pacifier the most powerful part of the trinisette, the giglio nero donne having sepira's blood in them make them the most suitable to wear the sky pacifier safely and have it mean the most while they wear it.

Khr for the 20 questions meme (you can choose the numbers if that’s a lot) Thank You!
Thank you for the request, my lovely anon! I didn't really manage to do all of them, though I explained why I couldn't do particular ones while answering and I hope you'll enjoy my thoughts on the ones I did do!
which muse is the easiest to write?
Honestly, I think I've answered this a couple times on this blog. But for those who might have missed those answers, the honest truth is that there isn't a single character left in KHR that I consider 'hard' to write about anymore. I don't think I write the best Reborn, Hibari, or Mukuro, but I do try my best. I will say, I do find Gokudera always naturally flows pretty well for me but overall, KHR is the easiest fandom for me to write about and I enjoy all the characters, in their own way.
which muse is most likely to go to jail?
Well, let's see. Mukuro, Ken, Chikusa, M.M., Birds, and the Bloody Twins are all canonically either currently in jail or they have been in jail. But if that's too much of a cop-out answer, Naito would definitely spend at least a night or two in jail here and there because he's an idiot and a loud one and gets himself into silly situations or causes a public disturbance. If it wasn't for the fact that they're protected by the Mafia and have so many resources at their disposal, the Varia should also be spending time in prison for multiple murders.
which muse would be the best parent?
That's a really hard one because, honestly, this cast is so huge, and there's a lot of characters I think would make excellent parents. There's no way to settle into best either, since I think they'd all have vastly different parenting styles. I will say, out of Tsuna's family, I think neither Gokudera nor Hibari want children, nor would either of them being particularly great parents, each for their own reasons. The only person in the Varia I see wanting their own children is Levi, though I also think Squalo could be a good parent if it did become a thing for him. Out of Mukuro's gang, I don't think Mukuro nor Chrome want their own biological children. They could all potentially be good parents, but out of them all, I do think Fran would make the worst parent, though even he has moments of being a really good parent.
what would your muses be the deities of? what are your favorite icons for each muse? what song do you associate with each muse? what sort of youtube channel would your muses have?
Okay, this is just an absolutely huge cast of characters, so I hope you don't mind that I skipped these questions, my dear. The resulting post, if I was to do the entirety of the cast, would take hours upon hours to write (and like I said, these prompts are supposed to be fun and fast in between the more serious waiting requests), and would be extremely long for any of these questions, though I'd be happy to do these with a narrower group of characters in KHR.
which muse would you most like to meet irl?
Oh, there's so, so many characters from KHR I do wish were real and were in my life. Shouichi, Spanner, Byakuran after the future arc, Yamamoto, Gokudera, Haru, Kyoko, Chikusa, Shamal, YamaPapa, Squalo, Skull, Enma…the list is literally too long to count.
which muse would be the MOM friend? DAD friend?
Mom friend? Both Bianchi and Kyoko definitely show signs of being mom friends to those in their lives, though each in their unique ways. I also do think Luce, Aria, and Yuni all are or were 'mom friends' and that, even before she became a mom, Nana was a 'mom friend' to those she was friends with. Now, I'll show myself as dumb here but I didn't really know what a 'dad friend' really meant, so I had to google it. I think Yamamoto and Reborn both have some 'dad friend' energy, as does Kusakabe and Romario, right off the top of my head. Of course, YamaPapa has the most daddest of dad energies though, just saying and is a father, so maybe that helps. I also think Timoteo was always a 'dad friend' to people, from the time he was a kid all the way until he becomes an old man, when he gains 'grand-dad friend' vibes.
which muses are cat people? which are dog people?
Okay, so again, this is a question that if I listed all the characters from the wide cast of characters that fit into both categories, the post would be very long and would take a very long time to write, so I'm just going to go with the first ones that popped into my head. Hibari would definitely be a cat over dog kind of person. While animals really love Hibari in general and he tends to get along best with animals rather than people, he's not really a fan of dogs, to be honest. They're too clingy and require too much attention. Gokudera, Chikusa, Julie, and Kikyo are all very much cat people too. However, Yamamoto, Skull, and Colonello to me are all very much dog people.
which muse would you want to have a sleepover with?
Of course, a sleepover with the girls (Chrome, Kyoko, Haru, Hana, Bianchi, and I-Pin) would be so much fun. I also think sleepovers with Byakuran would be a blast and though I know he's really unpopular, sleepovers with Naito would be hilarious and full of crazy stories for the ages.
which muse would try to befriend the others? which two muses would get along the best if they met? which two muses would immediately fight each other if they met?
Now, I'm treating all of these questions in terms of how I write the various characters in my crossovers and AU's. Again, if I was to write this thinking of all the characters, I could make each question a very long, thorough, time-consuming post, so I went with just my first thoughts. I would happily answer these questions more thoroughly, if anyone would like, with a narrower group of characters. In terms of the crossovers/multiverse AU's though, Tsuna is always the most accepting and the one to make the most friends. While not as outwardly extroverted and friendly as Yamamoto, there's this charisma to Tsuna that does draw people to him. Hibari, Byakuran, Mukuro, Gokudera, Bel, and Xanxus get into the most fights in these stories though.
which muse is physically the strongest? which muse would win in a fist fight against the others?
So, keeping this strictly in universe, the Varia are all considered elite assassins and fighters and I think most of them would survive a fist fight with any of the other characters to at least a draw. It's canon that Hibari is the strongest, battle-wise, of all Tsuna's Guardians, and the Arcobaleno are the absolute best of the best, with Skull in particular actually being known for his strength, something a lot of people seem to forget because honestly, canon and fandom does him a little dirty. In just plain out hand to hand combat, I think Skull can hold his own against anyone, even Hibari, if push came to shove. I'm also adding Knuckle and Ryohei to this category, as fist-fights are their specialities and something both really excel at.
what is a plot you’ve been wanting to do for [muse name]?
I mentioned this to a friend the other day in messages, but I honestly, if I had the time and artistic ability, would love to write light novel spin-off series for KHR, something that would never happen as those have to be approved, I'm pretty sure, by the original creator. But I would love to do light novels exploring so much - the Arcobaleno's individual pasts, how they each came to chosen, their experiences with the occasion that turned them into Arcobalenos, and the immediate aftermath of being turned into infants and how they adapt to life after that. I'd love to do light novels exploring all the prior generations of the Vongola Bosses and their Guardians. I'd love to do one exploring YamaPapa's past, especially his relationship with his sibling disciple of Shigure Soen and the creation of Shinotsuku Ame.
which muse would spend a night in a haunted place for $20?
Gokudera will do it for free. No kidding, legit, he might even pay for the privilege. I honestly do think Bianchi actually does share some of her brother's passion for ghosts and she would be interested in spending the night in a haunted house as well. Byakuran and Mukuro would both do it, just because it would amuse them, and both are enough of skeptics to not even be scared.
which muse would you not let into your house, under any circumstance?
Honestly, it's Kikyo. I do see him as being really judgmental, especially with anything aesthetic, and I do think he'd read my interior decorating skills and aesthetic to filth, despite how much I love my apartment and how it looks. I also don't think I'd much like Bel in my apartment…too much chance of me being murdered for my comfort, thanks.
which muse would investigate the scary noises? which one would hide?
Again, this is one where if I really focused on the full cast, putting them into the groups, I could create a post that would be very long, thorough, and would take quite a while to write, so I just went with my first thoughts. Lambo, Tsuna, Shouichi, Enma would all hide. Basil, Gokudera, Spanner, Byakuran, Mukuro, Hibari, Adelheid, Shitt. P, and Reborn would all investigate, some with less fear than the others.

I’m thinking more on feral Acrobaleno.
The idea is that Feral means more in touch with inhuman instincts caused by flames. And this based on what each flame is.
Reborn: Activation. He activated things around him and is drawn to said activation. In his case it’s chaos. He cannot help but cause it and craves it. At the same time he requires things to activate his mind which in his case is caffeine.
Verde: Hardening. Sturdy. Electricity. His drive is for knowledge of the world which hardens his view of the world. Mysteries are fun but he needs to know the truth of them, to harden reality and understand it. His work with technology is a drive to experience electricity to.
Viper: Viper is driven to fuck with reality and to warp it, control it. Killing and information gives them pieces of reality that they can then use to do what they wish with, exposing or twisting. The want of money is their grounding rod. To be able to experience reality and mess with it while also having a grounding influence to help themself.
Fon: Destruction is in his veins and he uses it by destroying perceptions of storms alongside minds. It’s funny to him to wreck people emotionally, plus he does destroy their bodies with his work. The calm facade is a way to control the destruction. Otherwise he will lose himsef in it.
Skull: Multiplication of attention. He wants it and craves it. But he also wants to have a family he calls his own. The others fuck with him but they all know he’s feral and they’re HIS. He’s aware that this is because if he’s to friendly or to strong people will chain them. He won’t let it happen. Never.
Colonello: Tranquility. He hates chaos, likes order. He likes discipline. So he’ll beat it into other people and train them to be perfect soldiers. He will make them obey him. He’s fully aware of the fact they’re all feral and stays on mafia land to keep the people who need his teaching coming because otherwise he’ll FORCE everyone to be tranquil.
Lal Mirch: Now, this is a minor headcanon for this AU. Lal Mirch was never supposed to be the Rain. Yes she is as strong as Colonello but she isn’t a pure rain. She has cloud and mist. But Checker Face knew that Colonello would never accept leaving her. She however would like to explore the Flames both awoke out of nowhere so did. She’s not feral, not like the others. She’s actually fully aware the others cracked and went feral. She also knows only Colonello knows.
Luce/Aria/Yuni: Harmony. They will make others bow to their harmony and dance to their tunes. Their visions WILL work out and they will stay on top. They’re the ones to realize Tsuna could be the next Acrobaleno and take steps so that Vongola deals with it. (Pity all visions don’t quite click right and there will always be that chance of change in the end)

Headcanon:
Yuni/Uni's real name is Eunice Giglio Nero. Uni was a nickname established by Gamma, who had the wish that it meant "Unique". Aria was the one who formally adopted it, so most know her only as Uni.

♡ Arcobaleno* as Tsuna's Guardians ₊⁎⁺˳✧༚ *sorry no Yuni/Aria/Luce :( </3 In this case I'm thinking that the Arcos would have been in the places that the actual Vongola 10th gen guardians were, if that makes sense..
Fon
I think Fon as a guardian would go absolute sicko mode much more often than he does in the actual series (never. he never does); I really like the idea of Fon being absolutely pissed beyond comprehension and wreaking endless havoc, something that he really really hates and is deeply ashamed of; I'm talkin punching down entire walls and collapsing buildings that he should not be able to tear down
But Tsuna has his back, and he knows that Fon's worst and most destructive side is not his entire character... the guy is still as chill as ever the other 99.99% of the time, but he holds himself to an impossible standard
Underneath all that peace, rattling beneath the floorboards of his very being, is uncertainty... the quiet storm brewing in him, even after all his years of martial training and mindfulness
He adopts a new sense of peace with himself through his relationship with Tsuna and the others, the type of peace that was more intuitive, less methodical and trained, if that makes sense.. I'd imagine his heritage has him a lot more wound up deep inside than he shows, since he's so outrageously zen (this might be reaching, ik lol)
But he is such a wonderful storm guardian, right in the middle ground between Bel and Gokudera in some way; He has a mix of strategy and intuition amidst combat (Belphegor) and adaptability (Gokudera); I imagine that his strikes never miss and he is nothing less than a one man army when it comes down to it
If you had put him in the ring conflict in Hayato's shoes, he would have definitely sensed the wire placement much sooner due to his familiarity with his own body, clothes and gear and all; however, he very much seems to be the guy to bring a stick to a knife fight... he bears very many scars from the ring conflict battle and he actually is a bit fond of them because it means that he made it out with his life and his friends :'(
Reborn
Naturally he would be the right hand man, arguably one that calls the shots more often than Tsuna lmao; I can only imagine him chewing out some of the guardians (cough Skull and Mammon) for shirking their duties because Tsuna let them off the hook
He's a very capable right hand man at that! Giving Gokudera a run for his money, but I think similarly he was very cold and aloof to begin with, only opening up to Tsuna when he offered some home made treats to him (similar to what happened with Luche), and now he's like Tsuna's lap cat/scary dog privilege lol
He is not without his prankster and jokey side, but it takes forever for him to feel comfortable enough to stop taking everything so seriously. Tsuna's friendship really drew it out of him! He cannot help the small smiles that grace his features and chuckles escaping his lips whenever silly things happen with the gang :') Eventually, he becomes one of the main perpetrators of trouble, but you never see him own up to it because he's got such a stoic facade
He absolutely throws quiet tantrums over not having his morning coffees...
Also I absolutely cannot say anything about the way the sun ring conflict turned out, because Reborn is well versed in martial arts, but ?? Against Lussuria? Would they still have a similar showdown? I do not think so x.x so I will simply not reach that far in this AU
Verde
He’s the most aloof guardian, usually just stepping in since it’s an opportune time to test out his newfangled weaponry; He’s here because he’s pretty dead set on using the Vongola as means to create some ultimate world-ending machine
But Tsuna keeps him in check somehow, granting him a perspective on life and power and what to make of it, it softens Verde just a bit, but I can’t help but see him as the daemon spade equivalent in this scenario, just a little bit of a loose cannon, not really working for Tsuna… but he still feels following the don is the right way to achieve his end goal
Oh you already know he's killin it in the ring conflict, showing up fully loaded with the strangest contraptions and an eerie thirst for blood
Colonello
He initially wasn’t supposed to be a part of this but he just kept showing up and had to eventually bear the rain position when Lal was out of commission, and I think that he brings some pretty different dynamics when he’s alone vs with Lal
Colonello is kind of like a heavy rain, a constant rain storm, more similar to (aha) a stereotypical storm type guardian than a rain
But it works in their favour! Peep my thoughts with Lal hehe
He would have somehow gained his guardian role after the ring conflict, methinks; possibly in the next arc for insert plot point reasons
He's a follower of Tsuna because he finds his resolve very impressive, and his willingness to put himself through the wringer for the sake of improving himself and protecting his loved ones
Colonello finds that reflection of himself with Tsuna, and despite how frequently he chews his boss out with their training, it's a way of motivating himself as well and he always goes the extra mile to prep recovery meals for everyone after training, despite his reluctance to admit that he cares for his family members
Lal Mirch
I think in this case, instead of having two mist guardians, Tsuna would have two rain guardians! It would not have happened in the same way as Chrome and Mukuro, but Tsuna just couldn’t say no to either of them and the two of them just work so much better together and greatly enrich the team as a whole, so there’s no reason to have to pick
Anyway, I see Lal as more of the flash flood type of rain guardian, wherein you don’t realize the rain is going to get super heavy out of nowhere, and by the time you start running for cover, it’s too late; that way, the two of them cover different bases and ultimately Lal is able to gain more control of combat due to Colonello’s more in-your-face, flashy fighting style; they greatly complement each other ! :)
Lal and Squalo would have been the fight of the century tbh, I don't know how she fought back then but I would bet that both of them are skilled in martial combat and pack firepower
Lal is kind of there because she feels like it's her job, but admittedly is a super softie for the rest of them, especially Colonello; Down time with the group is the only time she gets to relax and you won't see her sharing her feelings verbally, but she strangely is always freeing her schedule just enough to spend quality time with her loved ones, even with the resting pissed face gracing her beautiful features
Esper Mammon
They’re in this for the money, and they only like Tsuna because of how rich and powerful his family is lolol
Initially they say that they’ll never work for free, but they most likely will get their life saved by Tsuna a few times, and they hate the feeling of being indebted to this guy; Mammon attempts over and over again to just throw a wad of cash at Tsuna to feel like they’re no longer on the hook for their life debt (they never were!! Tsuna is not that kind of guy), and Tsunayoshi just keeps rejecting it over and over, insisting that he did it purely because it’s the right thing and there’s literally no reason to feel indebted…
Ding ding ding, Mammon’s grown attached and is now loyal to Tsuna for more than just money reasons; Life is short, that’s why they collect money and surround themselves with people they adore
Mammon would have totally used their illusions to skip school and make some extra cash on the side lolol and Tsuna ends up having to cover for their ass when the teachers get suspicious; Reborn is the trouble maker that tries to get Mammon busted B)
Skull
He somehow ends up doing a lot more secretarial work than he signed up for, because everyone else pushes it on him; He doesn’t mind at some point because it gives him so much leeway to slack off lolol until Lal catches him and gives him the ass beating of his life for it
He's a thrill seeker, and his humungous ego actually gets him in a lot of trouble. There are points in time where he feels like if he cannot succeed at something, the whole world is against him and he might as well just stop trying? Or to go balls to the wall with disregard for his life
Now, man is built like a tank and practically unkillable, but the amount of times that Tsuna and the others had to live through Skull's near-death experiences has made him a lot more aware of just how much people actually give a shit about him and how throwing all caution to the wind may not kill him yet, but pains his loved ones more than anything..
He's still the baby of the family though, despite him wanting to show up and be the cool guy, he's just a silly guy!! He also always arrives late to anything and everything and that's gotten them in trouble infinite times
me realizing I had to pull character flaws out of my ass to see the Arcos in a more well-rounded light, with room for character development (since they'd need to do that over the hypothetical course of the series if they were Tsuna's guardians) this rly juiced my brain but I might as well post??

Hello, it's me. Aria online but Yuni in real life. I am writing this for my Politics and Governance subject :3
I would like to consider myself as someone who people can come to when they need comfort and advice. I never knew how I got to that point of being a therapist friend but I just did. Words just came out of my mouth.
People come to me and share their experiences and some cases, I would have the same problem as them. But, I give them good advices even though I am still dealing with those problems myself. Though, it strangely put me into peace... knowing that I helped somebody, knowing that the person trust me enough to tell me, trusted me for giving them advice, it somehow heals a part of me that I never knew.
.... though, a part of me wishes that somebody can do the things I do for people.
...
Psychoanalysis time!!
Altruism, handling your own pain by helping others. Though this might be good in some extent, this is in the category of defense mechanism for a reason.
Back then, I was a very jealous kid. I was jealous of the things my classmate has that I don't. I actually used to steal things from my classmate because I wanted it. But somehow, I never thought of asking my parents for it.. How dumb, I know.
I used to get overwhelmed with jealousy when my classmates go to exciting places or things. It wasn't that my family was poor, quite frankly, we are quite stable. I was really dumb when I was a kid.
Now, I'm at senior high school, with the strand of HUMSS. I barely get jealous now. Almost like I feel numb about it. Maybe because I know that if I wanted something, I can find a way to properly get it.. and not steal like I did when I was young.
...
Rational Choice Theory time!!
Rational choice theory, implies that a person will be driven by their own desires and goals by constructing a choice that will be the easiest and most beneficial for them when the decision has two or more possibilities.
Hii, it's Yuni again. That is all for my sharing and rant!

Reborn is The World's GREATEST Hitman. We see the proof of this throughout the entirety of the khr series.
Skull is immortal. We literally get both told and shown this during the Rainbow Arc.
Fon is a talented martial artist. We get shown this during the Rainbow Arc as well. (I think in other parts of the series too, but the Rainbow Arc is where I remember it clearly).
Viper/Mammon is an esper. We get shown their abilities when they locate something with their snot!
Lal is known for being a special forces ace who trained Colonnello. We see how right that statement is! I mean, look at Colonnello! The man has enough skill to blend right in with the other Arcobaleno without seeming too weak or out of place.
Luce is known as a shaman who can see the future. And guess what?! She can! So can Yuni and Aria. This ability is a known part of these characters!
My point, you ask?
Verde is known as the REINCARNATION OF DA VINCI. Yeah, we don't get shown any proof, but look at the pattern here. Do we really doubt that Fon can't catch a fly with his bare hands? Or that Skull wouldn't bounce back after a terrible accident? No! Why? Because these titles of the Arcobaleno are shown to be true. Verde didn’t get much a chance to show he was the reincarnation of Da Vinci, but I think it's more than heavily hinted at.
I mean, he did choose Mukuro to be his representative. His inventions are groundbreaking and highly futuristic. The frog camouflage suits? The box weapons? The reality illusion gloves?!
Think of what Da Vinci made back during the Renaissance. The gilder. The diving suit. Oh, look---a robotic knight! Look it up, guys, the man was very much ahead of his time. And Verde definitely created what Da Vinci might have made if he had modern-day technology. (Well, khr's modern day). He is also known for being ahead of his time!
What else was known for being ahead of its time? The Box Weapons that Lorenzini invented back in the seventeen century. The same ones Verde and two other scientists rediscovered the blueprints for and brought to life with the present day technology in khr.
So I ask you, dear reader, why do we forget to shine a light on the fact that Verde is the reincarnation of Da Vinci? Why don’t we play with this idea in fics? The Arcobaleno's titles are all proven true throughout the series. So why don't we talk about this enough? I once talked to someone about this, and they said they thought it was just a nickname/cool title. Not an actual fact. Which is valid, and I respect their opinion. BUT! There is a pattern here, guys. A pattern!!!
Verde is Da Vinci's reincarnation. Can we please remember this more often?
I know I am.
And yeah, that's all I wanted to say. I know I got a bit passionate there, and like, no worries if you're some who just can't see it. We all have our own opinions on these things. And these are simply mine. But for me, there's too much symbolism surrounding Verde with it for me to think otherwise.
#katekyo hitman reborn#khr#katekyo hitman reborn verde#khr verde#khr arcobaleno#verde is da vinci's reincarnation#I can't see it any other way#there are many coincidental commonalities that surround him#but also everyone is entiled to their own opinions#though I believe reincarnation exists in khr#doesn’t Mukuro have an ability surounding it#we don’t know too much about Verde either#just what we are told#and the Arcobaleno seem to prove their titles correct#rambling

Something you didn't mention but I thought was important and supports your theory: the Cervello gave Byakuran his Mare ring. They were always there, working in the background - and foreground when necessary - to make the future happen.
My personal theory about them is similar, actually. I think they work for Kawahira. He's been shown to have assistants/protégés and he's also shown to be a Mist user. What are the Cervello known for? Being visually identical. Their "organization" has teams of Mist users who work to maintain the illusion of the school being fine in the Ring arc.
Additionally, like I said, they gave Byakuran the Sky Mare Ring, part of the Trinesette, and who's in charge of that again? Oh that's right, Kawahira. He has a vested interest in making sure the Trinesette is in play in the world, regardless of the dangers I'm sure he knew Byakuran posed.
It's shown that Luce knew they were gonna be cursed, knew more about the whole thing than the others. She went along with Kawahiras plan because she knew of its importance. But like you said, she had the power of premonition. It's unclear how strong it was, but it's not infeasible that she knew that one day a Sky would be born that would save her future granddaughter and all of her friends too. With that in mind, I think it's possible she was also working with Kawahira. Or, maybe like you said the Cervello worked with her and then Aria and Yuni. They wouldn't necessarily know that the Cervello were also working with Kawahira.
But that means I guess that I'm saying both your theory and mine actually fit together. It's possible that the Cervello were working with the Giglio Nero bosses AND Kawahira to create the best future, a future with the possibility of an end to the curse, an end to condemning people to a slow agonizing death via pacifier, to the Sky Mare owners going insane (because yes, it's stated that Byakuran has his dimension travel power before getting the ring, but then Yuni explains that it's a trait of the Mare Ring in "Sea, Clam, Rainbow", it's purpose in the Trinesette which means that I headcanon that Byakuran isn't the first to go crazy from seeing into alternate universes because he isn't the first Sky Mare, he can't be. He's just the first to decide to destroy all worlds with this power).
So, yeah. I think the Cervello work with/for Kawahira and are Mist users and probably also work with/for the Giglio Nero. I agree with everything you said, I think the Cervello were definitely working on their own agenda and it wasn't a coincidence that they always seemed to be around all the major players during big world changing events.
Which brings up how they were Irie's "assistants" and just happened to be there for almost all of the future arc, something that had multiverse effecting consequences and like you said, also happened to disappear when Yuni showed up to take over the situation.
I am currently rereading the Manga but it's been a while so I can't say if I remember them showing up again after that but it's reasonable to assume either Kawahira or Aria felt they weren't necessary for what happened after the future arc.
I have no good ending, this was all stream of consciousness typed out in one go so uh yeah there you go, that's my theory on the Cervello
Theory: The Cervello were never Varia or Millefiore aligned. They were always a part of the Giglio Nero.
subtitle: I will give all the female characters in this series the love and thought they deserve and Amano can meet me in the pit
As a recap, the Cervello are a group of mysterious women that show up three times within the series. Two of those times, they (or another person) claims that they will act as impartial judges for the current shounen fighting gimmick. Their supposed impartialness is debatable, but not in the way you might think.
The first time they show up is during the Varia Arc, shortly after Xanxus almost blasts away everyone and Iemitsu gets the (fake) letter from the Ninth. They claim here that they’re an independent group directly reporting to the Ninth, to which Iemitsu and Reborn seem dubious because they’ve never heard about it. However, in the end, they still act as judges throughout the entirety of the Ring Battles including at the end when they pronounce the Varia as disqualified and hand the victory over to Tsuna and Co.
What is particularly interesting, however, is the conversation at the end of the battles when they announce that news and speak with Xanxus.
Xanxus: Happy your prophecy came true?
To which the Cervello reply…
Cervello: I’m sorry, sir, but this was neither our wish nor a prophecy we made.
Now, needless to say, while I can only follow the wording of the translator for these scenes, it’s intensely interesting choice of words. A “prophecy” is a prediction, but it is a word that is associated with the mystical and arcane, seeing a result that others can only really guess at. Xanxus isn’t accusing them of planning against them, because that’s like plotting the weather- a prophecy simply sees the clouds forming and hears the approaching thunder.
In turn, they deny that they explicitly wanted this, or that it was a prophecy they foretold…. but they don’t exactly deny it was prophecy.
What I think happened here was Xanxus calling the Cervello out. For all they might have acted like it, treating him and the Varia with deference, the Cervello were never truly on the Varia’s side. The Cervello were working for an outside cause; Xanxus simply mistook it as one similar to his own (or perhaps always knew but his pride assured him that his Varia would win no matter what). By making a jab at the idea of prophecy, he’s saying he knows who the Cervello are truly aligned with.
Now. Let’s think. In the world of KHR, is there anyone to which prophecy- a mystical act of seeing the future- is relevant to…?

Not the same anon as before but I have a question about Sephira and Luce. Would Sephira becoming the Sky arcobaleno not defeat the whole purpose of the pacifiers being made? Kawahira states they were made because the earthlings could not maintain the balance themselves anymore. I know people in her family eventually became cursed but it doesn’t seem like she is? In that picture you show her being normal sized and not a baby too.
My question for Luce is that I swear we see her become cursed on the mountain and become a baby. Why did she become a baby if she got the curse from her mom but not Aria or Uni? Why did she bother going to the mountain? To keep up appearances?
I hope all the questions are okay. These are questions I’ve always wondered and you seem knowledgeable
[in reference to this ask]
hi nonny, thank you for the ask!
yeah we're all good with all your questions, no worries haha. to answer them in order, i do get why you'd think that about sepira. like you said, as the numbers of earthlings started decreasing, eventually they weren't enough of them left anymore to be able to keep sustaining the seven stones that was originally the trinisette by themselves. so they took some of the stones and broke them down into seven more parts (the pacifiers), so they could use the help of humans to keep sustaining it.
but it still doesn't change the fact that it's their duty to look after the trinisette, right? and as earthlings, they're the ones most suited to do it and likely can do it the more safely/longer/while feeling minimum side effects from it. so i can see sepira ending up with the sky pacifier/choosing to become its bearer as her caring to keep doing her duty for as long as she can, but also as some kind of safeguarding of some sort. because like, humans weren't supposed to be the ones to look after the trinisette nor are they naturally suited for it. and the sky pacifier being a particularly important part of the trinisette, they choose one of them to be its bearer, give the six other pacifiers to humans, and keep looking after the remaining stones themselves. (because remember, but at this point there's still five earthlings left, including kawahira and sepira.)
and yes, sepira isn't a baby in that panel, but it's because none of the sky arco are ever turned into babies! i know in the anime luce is shown being turned into a baby, but it's during the arco filler arc so, you know, it's not canon. and even in the manga there's some cover pages where amano drew her as a baby too, but i really think it's just for aesthetic purposes so she doesn't stand out from the rest of the arco she's drawn alongside with. because as far as the manga in and of itself says, in the rainbow arc byakuran explicitly says the sky arco aren't turned into babies, but in exchange their particular curse takes the form of a short lifespan.
[ID copied from alt-text: Panels from the manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Byakuran says, "The Arcobaleno of the Sky's curse is different from all the other Arcobaleno's curses... Their forms can't be changed. Luce, Aria, and Yuni... All of them are connected with the same... short life-span. /End ID]
as for the way luce ended up cursed compared to aria and uni, bermuda explains to reborn and tsuna that kawahira chooses/curses the arco through two different methods. i'm not gonna put all the relevant panels because it's basically the whole of chapter 386 lol, but yeah, here:
[ID copied from alt-text: Other panels from the manga. Bermuda says, "A passing on to the next generation is set up. Sometimes as a contracted job, sometimes as a representative war. These two things happen once, spread out far apart in a cycle so that it doesn't remain in people's memories. The Rainbow Representative War and the Fated Day." /End ID]
so basically, kawahira either gathers the next generation of arco under the guise of gathering the seven strongest, giving them missions so they can prove themselves worthy of the title, until eventually he gives them a last mission to gather them together so he can curse them. or he baits them with the possibility of earning their freedom from the curse by winning the representative war, making them (which is so sick of him now i think about it actually) gather the current strongest of the next generation so he can choose among them who are the most suitable to become the next arco.
so luce ending up cursed through the fated day is because by then, the cycle of choosing/cursing the next arco was just back to happen through the fated day. and meanwhile aria and uni inherited it from their respective mother, because the sky arco's curse is a short lifespan, and so there's the need of multiple sky arco for one generation of arco until the time to choose the next generation of arco altogether comes around again. or at least, that's how i personally make sense of the arco lore haha.
hopefully i managed to clear things up for you some nonny!

Can I request a headcome about the relationship between Reborn and Luce, daily life style? please (sorry for the mistakes, english is not my language)
There's no need to apologize at all, my dear anon! I understood you perfectly and thought this request was really sweet! I love writing about things like this and really enjoyed writing these! I hope you'll enjoy reading them!
Okay, so, as all of my lovely readers know, I don’t write canon ships at all so these headcanons put aside any romantic feelings that anyone feel Reborn and Luce might or might not have had and really focuses in on the more platonic side of things. Because, truth be told, I honestly think that Luce was the closest Reborn ever got to an honest to goodness ‘best friend’. There are just some people you meet and click with, those that make you feel at ease, comfortable, accepted, and like the world is brighter when they’re around and that was Luce for Reborn and vice versa.
Luce never pushed Reborn, not really. She challenged him a lot because, at that point in time, Reborn really had so many thick walls built around himself emotionally and, while he could be suave in appearance and at first glance, with a reputation that was all too well-known, he was, at that point, really a little asocial and misanthropic in his viewpoint. I really feel like Luce was a huge factor in the Reborn we see in the manga, into making him who he became. And she didn’t do so by bulldozing or pushing…she just stubbornly was kind to him. She never lost her serene calm with him, no matter the biting comments he might have given, no matter what accusations he leveled at her. She just kept smiling at him and was kind. Her quiet questions, her genuine overtures of friendship to him…it really wasn’t what he was used to or comfortable with and it shook him a little.
While Reborn is protective of Aria and Yuni and does truly care about their happiness and well-being, it’s because they are Luce’s descendants and he’ll never have quite the same bond with them that he did with Luce. But Luce isn’t around to protect them, something she feared and that made it feel like her heart was being ripped out of her chest, that knowledge that she wouldn’t be…so Reborn protects them for her. He never verbally promised her he would. She never asked him to. He just does it because…because sometimes, in Aria and Yuni, in their smiles or their laugh or the way they talk, he still sees his best friend. He does it to honor the woman who helped him change and accept a frightening world.
I think Luce is and will always be the only person who knew all of Reborn’s secrets. She listened to him, fully listened, and never made him feel judged and she became the person he buried all his hurts, all his mistakes and fears and angers and regrets in, perhaps because he knew she would still care at the end of it or maybe…maybe because they both knew that she was heading for an early grave and because they both knew it was a chance for him to bury all those things with her and start anew. This wasn’t ever one-sided though, not at all. In Reborn, Luce found someone who wouldn’t judge her either, who she didn’t need to smile through the pain for, someone who had her back in all moments of weakness, and she entrusted him with her own secrets, her own feelings and fears.
Reborn was at Aria’s christening. He’s not Catholic himself; he hates church services and tries to avoid churches unless they’re empty…but he went. How could he not? After all, Luce asked him to be Aria’s godfather and how could he refuse her that?
Reborn is fantastic at most things. Things come naturally to him; they always have. He picks up new skills in no time. But he’s never been able to replicate the taste of Luce’s cookies, no matter how hard he tries.

Also more thoughts cause fuck it
I wanna write a self insert fic for KHR where the main character is hyper feminine cause I’m bored and I like the idea and I want her to also be a homemaker type but like it’s also living off the land and shit so she is also outside all the time! And then she ends up being like… I mean getting all the attention cause why not.
Or shit let’s do Tsunayoshi self insert with a girl. So common but so fun cause I wanna have cute Tsunayoshi being hyper fem.
Or shit you know what I love/hate? Acrobaleno have been cursed for YEEEEEARS. Like enough Aria grew up and Yuni is like 10-15. Except actually I think that Yuni was forced aged up cause her age is wonky as fuck since I think she’s ten in the future arc? So… I think she got the pacifier and aged up SUPER fast. Or like she got her memories and was forced aged up to the age she was in the future in present time.
BUT ANYWAY SO LIKE ARIA has gotta but like 20-35 cause she died ‘young’ and fuck you all 35 is still youngish.
Due to this I’m sad cause I want like ‘modern fem self insert becomes Acrobaleno sky and is hyper feminine and modern but cause she didn’t stay an adult/big not given birth she gets to hold oacifier for years.’ And then since like I’m painful she had a terminal illness. Cause why would she agree to some weirdo’s offer which is how this happens as she is a fan but like the kinda fan who doesn’t know everything.
So yeah I just wanna write hyper feminine girl with a harem.

Reborn's enchantment with kindness is something that is so fundamental to him. It's not one he can afford himself, choosing the path of caution for himself. (His kindness only served to burn him and leave a nasty scar.) But the fact he cannot help but look up to those who are kind? "You haven't changed much, Tsuna. It's a good thing."
After everything that happened in the arcs of the series, the cruelty, the deception, the unrelenting pressure, the betrayal, and the hope being ripped away from you. You're right, to come out of that with the same heart takes a fortitude of mind that he deeply respects. Something the mafia needs.
That's why death is better than failure. For Luce, it was too late to save her by the time he realized. For Aria, it was out of his hands. And for Yuni, he looked away from it, as he understood. That he had to let her do this. That's what was necessary, and he's logical if nothing else. But.. Tsuna was another beast. Couldn't let that one go. Don't die for us Arcobaleno, this is what I've always known would happen. Just let me go. You stay. Let me meet the fate I've always known was coming, like those before me. I am part of the mafia that let this happen and now it's my turn. Just let me leave a mark before I do. Something, one thing, my one kind action before I go.
And Tsuna, the epitome of what he's wanted him to be, looks at him angry in his eyes and tells him that he's happy that he's met him and this won't do. He won't let him just lie down and die, that's not what he's taught him. In being kind, you can't forget to be clever either.
And so, Tsuna fights for him at Reborn's request. Save me. I want to live. Has Reborn ever been on the other side of such kindness before? Not merely just observing it, and envying it? To be on the given side for once? He's saved.
And he knows for sure, Tsuna is the kind of person he knows will create the Mafia powerful enough to soothe a crying child. Just the same as Daemon, and the man Daemon followed had wished. The man, he himself looks up to and hopes that man's vision will come to fruition through somebody. Someday. Maybe, it'll be his student. Maybe he can raise that kind of person.
Do you guys ever think about Reborn's relationship with the Mafia....?
Do you guys ever think about how he's risen to the top. (how did he get there? What do you do to earn the title of world's greatest hitman?) How he's seen to be cautious and wise beyond his years? How he's entirely self sufficient without a family to be affiliated to?
Do you ever think about how hes survived in a place like this entirely alone and has taken it upon himself to tutor future mafia bosses? Why? Why make the effort? What is he trying to change?
Do you ever think about how he never seems frightened as his students when their enemies are cruel? How used to it he is? How it doesn't frighten him, but rather exhausts him? Do you ever notice the pride in his face when Tsuna chooses to be kind and forgiving? Have you ever noticed how he notices Yamamoto's capabilities as a hitman and tells him to do his best to keep his carefree smile?
Have you ever noticed how he cautions against Tsuna too easily forgetting about what Mukuro has done to them? (To keep his guard up against someone who's intentions are not clear?)
Have you ever noticed how he smiles in resignation and isn't surprised that he's going to die to complete someone else's revenge scheme? How he expected that his curse would never allow for anything more than a dog's death? Caught in the crossfires of someone else's problem? How he figures that if it's going to happen anyway, he might as well do something with the time left in him? Leave his mark somewhere? Do you ever wonder when exactly Reborn took up teaching the younger Mafia bosses?
No, really. Do you guys ever think about Reborn's relationship with the Mafia?
